R-19. WOULD YOU STAY in a FALSE CHURCH DOCTRINE? If you KNEW your church is teaching false doctrine would you stay or find another church denomination that IS teaching the truth? If you knew that your church denomination is teaching church doctrines that contradict what the Bible itself teaches, would you stay in the church denomination? If God revealed to you through the Holy Scriptures that some of the doctrines that your church denomination is teaching are NOT found in the Bible would you keep silent and say nothing? Or would you do your best to try and show your fellow brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ what God revealed to you in the Scriptures? And IF the leaders of your church denomination told you that you are not allowed to QUESTION what your church denomination teaches would you remain in that church denomination? Would you believe God’s word of truth OVER what your church denomination teaches even if it means LEAVING your church denomination? Some Christians do not even know what their church denomination teaches. And worse yet, some Christians do not know what the Bible itself teaches. They only know what they are TOLD to believe. And this is pretty much true of every religion in the world. Some people blindly accept what their parents believe. But what if your parents were taught things that contradict what the Bible teaches in simplicity? Would you CHANGE what you were previously taught to now believe what the Bible alone teaches? Please understand that I am NOT singling out any particular church denomination or any particular religion. I am only presenting to my readers what I sincerely believe that the Bible itself teaches when it is correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. What I mean by this is that Scriptures can be taken OUT of the context and made to say things that the Bible as a WHOLE does NOT truly say. Here are three examples. Example #1. The Bible says Judas Iscariot hung himself. The Bible also says go and do likewise. But that is NOT what the Bible teaches. Example #2. The Bible says Jesus has a devil so why do you hear him? But that is NOT what the Bible teaches. Example #3. The Bible says that the serpent tempted Eve. The Bible also says that the serpent is Satan. And Jesus said to Peter get you behind me Satan. So, therefore, it was Peter who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. But that is NOT what the Bible teaches. These are very simple illustrations to see that they are NOT what the Bible teaches. However, some church doctrines are not so easily discerned that they are built upon INCORRECT interpretations of certain Scriptures. Again, I have to start somewhere with a church denomination to be the first. This does not mean that I am singling out the Roman Catholic Church. But rather, it is because I still have some family in the Roman Catholic Church that I desire to see come to the TRUTH of the whole word of Almighty God to believe what the Bible itself teaches OVER what the Roman Catholic Church teaches. So let us begin by asking Roman Catholic Christians the following questions. #1. Would you remain a Roman Catholic IF you knew that some of what the Roman Catholic Church teaches actually does AGAINST what the Holy Bible ITSELF teaches?
