SPELLING EDITED Bb-2. WHY PEOPLE BELIEVE in UNIVERSALISM! Some Christians convert to Christian Universalism because of ONE MAIN reason. And that one main reason is that they can NOT accept that the doctrine of eternal torment in an everlasting fire for all eternity as something that a JUST and LOVING God would ever do. And they are CORRECT! The doctrine of eternal torture in hell is NOT sound Biblical teaching. Please read the studies “IS THE DOCTRINE OF HELL BIBLICAL?” and “DOES REVELATION 20:10 TEACH ETERNAL TORMENT?” But that does NOT mean that EVERYONE will eventually be saved. As I have said many times, one error can lead to another error. In other words, ONE error of interpretation of ONE verse of Scripture can lead to another error in the interpretation of other Scriptures. So to ME, one Christians in his of her desperate attempt to NOT believe that God could foreordain an innocent infant baby to eternal torture in flames of fire for all eternity came up with hi or her own man-made doctrine of devils to claim the since Jesus died for everyone in the entire world then that MUST mean that every person in the entire world will eventually be saved. And the logic goes like this. Why would Jesus die for everyone if so be everyone will not be saved? It would make Jesus be a FAILURE if Jesus died for everyone and everyone is not saved. But what does the Bible ITSELF teach us? First of all, every baby and small children go to heaven. For all the verses that prove that all babies and small children go to heaven please read the study “THE AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY!” The doctrine that teaches that everyone will eventually be saved has its ROOTS going all the way back to the Roman Catholic doctrine of original sin. And from the erroneous false doctrine of original sin, there arose another false doctrine of infant baptism. And then came the false Roman Catholic doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary and a whole lot of other false Roman Catholic doctrines including the false doctrine of eternal suffering in the flames of fire in hell for all eternity. If you are a Roman Catholic please read all the studies under the heading >>>WHAT EVERY CATHOLIC MUST KNOW!<<< And when the protestants came out of Roman Catholicism to become Protestant Christians they KEPT the false doctrine of eternal hellfire and the false doctrine of original sin to spawn another false doctrine called TOTAL DEPRAVITY of man. And that false doctrine wrongly teaches that every person is BORN with a sinful NATURE so deprave that God must regenerate a person first BEFORE they can be saved. And that false doctrine grew to become known as five-point Calvinism and Reformed Theology which wrongly teaches that God predestined MOST people to hell and only a FEW are chosen by God to be saved before the foundation of the world. In my research on WHY some Christians believe that everyone will be saved eventually I found that the testimonies of most of those Christians who convert to Christians Universalism have a BACKGROUND in the theological false teaching that claims that God ORDAINED EVERYTHING to happen including ALL the evil. In other words, they came OUT of Calvinism and Reformed Theology BUT they KEPT some of what they were wrongly taught from Calvinism and Reformed Theology. And there seems to be a pattern will KEEPING or holding one to false beliefe when Christians come OUT of false teaching. For example, when Oneness Christians come OUT from under the Oneness false teaching then some become Trinitarian Christians which is another FALSE teaching. And when Trinitarians Christians learn that the doctrine of the Trinity is not sound Biblical teaching and they come OUT from Trinitarianism then some keep of hold on to the false doctrine of the pre-existing Son of God. Some end up becoming Jehovah’s Witnesses which is another false teaching. The Jehovah’s Witnesses wrongly teach that the Holy Spirit is a FORCE used by God. They hold to the pre-existing Jesus teaching. But they put their own personal interpretation on that false teaching to create yet another false teaching that says Jesus was FIRST created being in eternity past and then Jesus created everything else. And when the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians come out from under the false teaching that Christians must keep all the Law of Moses then some of then keep or hold on to the teaching that Christians must at least keep the weekly Sabbath day. When I came out of the Roman Catholic Church I still sincerely believed that it was a SIN to miss church on Sunday. I still believed in the doctrine of original sin. But when I began reading the Bible for MYSELF I saw directly from the word of God that the doctrine of original sin is FALSE teaching. And when my new Christian family of brother and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ TOLD me that it was NOT a sin to miss church on Sunday I accepted it as truth WITHOUT ANY Scriptual proof because I HATED the doctrine of the missing church on Sunday as being a sin. So sometimes we believe things we are told because they are PLEASANT to hear. They are PLEASING to the flesh. They TICKLE our ear. Please read 2 Timothy 4:1-4. “I charge you, therefore, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2. Preach the WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3. For the time will come when they will NOT endure SOUND doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4. And they shall TURN away their ears from the TRUTH, and shall be turned unto fables.” A fable is something that is NOT true. For example, the pre-tribulation rapture of the church to escape the GREAT tribulation is a FABLE. It simply is NOT true even though those who teach this false doctrine use many verses of Scripture. But at the same time, they try and explain away many other verses of Scripture that prove that it is a FALSE teaching. But it is more PLEASANT to their EARS to hear that FABLE of a pre-tribulation rapture so they heap teachers to themselves have ITCHING ears to hear only what they want to hear. And the FABLE that everyone will eventually be saved is PLEASANT to the ear to hear. But just because a teaching is pleasant to hear does not always make it be true. Another reason why some Christians covert to the teaching that everyone will be saved is the FALSE teaching that Christians are SINNERS and that Christians will ALWAYS sin in this present world. In other words, Some Christians believe that it is IMPOSSIBLE to be PERFECT IN this PRESENT world. They are ignorant of the word of God. They fail to understand that the very moment a person first BELIEVES in Jesus as their Savior then they are made PERFECT in the eyes of Almighty God. They fail to see that God gives hid gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS to whosoever BELIEVE in Jesus as their Savior they very moment they first BELIEVE. They fail to see that EVERY time a Christian REPENTS and CONFESSES their sin that God forgives them and CLEANSES them from ALL their unrighteousness to be made PERFECT once again in the eyes of Almighty God. And they fail to see that Jesus has set us FREE from sin and the Holy Spirit EMPOWERS us to overcome sin in our life IF we BELIEVE in the promises in God’s word. Please read the study “HOW TO LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!” The point that I am making is that some Christians have been deceived by the false teaching that Christians will REMAIN, sinners, UNTIL the world to come. And BECAUSE OF that FALSE teaching that a Christians CHARACTER is instantly CHANGE to perfection AT the coming of Jesus, they INCORRECTLY interpret 1 Corinthians 15:22,23 OUT of its CONTEXT. Let us go ahead and read these two verses so I can show you what I mean. 1 Corinthians 15:22,23. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall ALL be made ALIVE. 23. But EVERY man in his OWN ORDER: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming..” The focus only on what the WANT to see. They want God to NOT condemn anyone. So they reason in their minds, since because of Adam’s ORIGINAL sin ALL die, then this verse MUST mean that ALL men will be made ALIVE. BUT every man in his own ORDER. Some in this present world, Some in the world to come, and the rest at the END in the so-called REFINING PURIFYING lake of fire. The read right OVER the words “IN Christ” and they wrongly ASSUME that the END means the lake of fire. So the wrongly interpret the phrase. “Christ the firstfruits” to be the Christians AT his coming BEFORE the Millennium. And then they wrongly interpret the next phrase “Afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming at the end of the Millennium. And then comes the end which they wrongly interpret as the NON-LITERAL lake of fire which they claim is symbolism because they WANT their FABLE to be true. Please read the study “WHAT DOES 1 CORINTHIANS 15:22,23 TRULY MEAN?” I cover some of the other verses that they also use to TRY and teach that everyone will eventually be saved using ONLY certain “CHERY-PICKED” verses taken OUT of their CONTEXT. But in all my studies I give many readers all the verse form BOTH sides of the controversy left IN their context.
