Z-4. WHO ARE THE 144,000?

Before we get into this study in God’s word I want to ask my readers a few questions.

#1. Do YOU desire to be one of the 144,000?

#2. Do ONLY the 144,000 go to heaven?

#3. Do ONLY the 144,000 rule with Jesus?

#4. Will ONLY the 144,000 get to see Jesus?

#5. Do you think you have a chance to be one of the 144,000?

#6. Have the 144,000 already been chosen?

#7. Is it better to be a Christian than it is to be one of the 144,000?

What does the Bible ITSELF teach us about the 144,000?

The 144,000 are only mentioned three times in the entire Bible and all three times are in the book of Revelation.

Let us read those three Scriptures first and then I will explain WHY I asked the above 7 questions. Please read Revelation 14:1-5 which gives us several details describing who these 144,000 will be.

Revelation 14:1-5.

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (We all agree that the Lamb is Jesus so these 144,000 are with Jesus and they have the Father’s name written in the foreheads.)

2.  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: (This is important because these harpers are singing a new song which they are teaching to the 144,000 who are the only ones who can learn this new song.)

3.  And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could LEARN that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 

4.  These (Speaking of the 144,000) are they which were not defiled with women; for (Or BECAUSE) they are virgins. These are they which FOLLOW the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb. 

5.  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.”

#1. The 144,000 are VIRGINS and they are MALES.

#2. They are the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and Jesus.

#3. They are without fault.

#4. They FOLLOW Jesus.

Now let us read Revelation 7:2-8 which tells us exactly who the 144,000 will be and WHEN they will be chosen.

Revelation 7:2-8.

“And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 

3.  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 

4.  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. (So then, the 144,000 are NOT the elite elders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses but rather they are all Jews or the children of Israel where 12,000 are sealed from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.)

5.  Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 

6.  Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 

7.  Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 

8.  Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.” 

In this passage of Scripture, we are clearly and plainly told exactly who the 144,000 will be yet in the future. In other words, the 144,000 have not yet been chosen and sealed by God. They will be chosen from the children of Israel only where 12,000 will be chosen from each of the 12 tribes of Israel which total to the number 144,000 sealed Jews. And it is yet in the FUTURE as to WHEN they will be chosen and sealed which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for ANY Jehovah’s Witnesses to be one of the 144,000. 

Now let us recap what the Bible ITSELF teaches us about the 144,000.

#1. The 144,000 are VIRGINS and they are MALES.

#2. They are the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and Jesus.

#3. They are without fault.

#4. They FOLLOW Jesus.

#5. And the 144,000 are ALL Jews for the 12 tribes of Israel who WILL BE sealed in their foreheads right before the wrath of God is poured out by Jesus at his coming.

Also, please notice that they FOLLOW Jesus wherever he leads them but nowhere do we see that they RULE and REIGN WITH Jesus. Nowhere do we see the 144,000 sealed children of Israel called kings and priests of God. And nowhere do we see that they are given eternal life at the coming of Jesus.

Now we do see them called the FIRSTFRUITS of God so let us take a closer look at what the Bible ITSELF teaches us about the FIRSTFRUITS. The word “firstfruits” is found 7 times in the New Testament, one time referring to the 144,000. Three times referring to God’s NEW creation which I will explain in a moment. One time referring to the firstfruits of the Spirit speaking of the “earnest” of the Holy Spirit that God gives to ALL believers in Jesus as the atonement for their sins. And two times referring to the first person who became believers in Jesus in a certain place. For example, if the gospel is preached for the first time somewhere, then the very first is the person, from the people, to believe the gospel that person would be called the firstfruits of God in that “area”. Now let us read the verses that apply to the firstfruits being God’s NEW creation who are created by God in his IMAGE to become God’s ETERNAL sons and daughters.

We have already read Revelation 14:4 so let us read James 1:16-20.

“Do not err, my beloved brethren. (Please take notice that James is talking to the BRETHREN speaking to us as Christians.)

17.  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 

18.  Of his own will, He begat us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of FIRSTFRUITS of his creatures. (So as soon as a person accepts Jesus as their Messiah they are BORN of God and given the power to BECOME the eternal son and daughter of God. In other words, James is telling us that we do NOT YET possess eternal life and thus we are not yet actually the “firstfruits” of God but rather we are being conformed to the IMAGE of God’s dear Son.)

19.  WHEREFORE (Or for this very reason of becoming the eternal sons and daughters of God), my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 

20.  For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God.” 

So then, the Bible ITSELF teaches us that WE, as true born-again Christians, begotten of God by the word of TRUTH, will become the FIRSTFRUITS of God’s new creation. I will explain why I said that we will or SHALL BECOME firstfruits of God as opposed to already being firstfruits of God right now in this present world.

Please read 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of them that slept. (So right now in this present world Jesus is the ONLY person who has BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS unto God. Right now in this present world, Jesus is called the ONLY begotten Son of God. The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the firstborn from the dead, the firstborn among MANY BRETHREN. The term brethren refers to both male and female BELIEVERS IN God’s Son as being the Messiah. So then AT his coming we, as true born-again faithful Christians, will become joints heirs with Jesus and he will no longer be called the ONLY begotten son of God. Jesus is called the FIRSTBORN of every creature for a reason. And I explain what this means in the studies “GOD’S NEW CREATION CREATED IN JESUS CHRIST!” and “COLOSSIANS 1:15-17 WHO CREATED ALL THINGS?”)

21.  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. (So every person who has ever lived will be resurrected to face judgment if they have died. And there will be TWO resurrections of the dead. The FIRST resurrection will be AT the COMING of Jesus BEFORE the 1000 year reign of Jesus. The second and final resurrection will take place AFTER the 1000 years has ended and the last war, called God and Magog, has ended with God’s final part of his wrath.)

22.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 

23.  But every man in his own order: (In other words, the Bible ITSELF gives us THREE time periods when people BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of God and here is the ORDER in which men, women, and children BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS unto God) [Order #1.] Christ the firstfruits; [Order #2.] afterward THEY that ARE Christ's AT his COMING. (In other words, ONLY the good and faithful Christians will BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of God AT the second coming of Jesus)

24. [Order #3.]  THEN comes The END, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. (Order #3 will include the 144,000 along with whosoever BELIEVES during the 1000 year reign of Jesus. So then, in order #3 will be the second harvest of believers in Jesus who become believers AFTER the rapture of the church and during the 1000 year reign of Jesus)

25.  For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet. 

26.  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 

27.  For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 

28.  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” 

So then, we see THREE orders or three different time periods when men BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of God which are NEW Creatures created in the IMAGE OF God to become God’s ETERNAL sons and daughters.

Order #1. 

Was Jesus who became the very first human being to ever be raised from the dead, to be GIVEN the divine nature of IMMORTALITY never to die again?

Order #2.

These WILL BE those of us who are found to be the good and faithful followers of Jesus, being obedient to his teachings in the New Testament of the Bible. And we will become the FIRSTFRUITS of God AT the COMING of Jesus to set up his kingdom on the earth where will we live and REIGN WITH Jesus for 1000 years.

Order # 3. 

These will be the children of Israel which will include the 144,000 Jews who will be sealed AT the second coming of Jesus just before the WRATH of God is poured out upon the world. And these firstfruits will not become firstfruits of God until the 1000 years has ENDED. So THEY will NOT RULE and REIGN WITH Jesus during the 1000 years. 

Also, there will be those left alive of all the nations who will enter into the 1000 year reign of Jesus in their mortal bodies to also be taught of the Lord. Many of them I personally believe will be Muslims who call upon the name of the Lord to be saved when they see Jesus coming again in clouds of great glory. So they will also be saved alive in their mortal bodies along with the REMNANT of the children of Israel who survive the wrath of God.

There will be many generations of the mortals and the lifespan of the mortals will be 100 years of age. They will have families just like in this present world and their children will be taught of the Lord the same as we teach our children about Jesus. The true Gospel of Jesus Christ will be taught from generation to generation and only those who BELIEVE shall become firstfruits of God but they will not receive their reward of eternal life until the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus.

Right now in this present world we, as Christians, are the ONLY true FOLLOWERS of Jesus who obey the leading of the Holy Spirit to obey the teachings of Jesus written in the New Testament of the Bible. But in truth, we have not yet actually BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of God. We have not yet OBTAINED our reward of ETERNAL LIFE. To say this another way, it will be ONLY true born-again FAITHFUL Christians who will BECOME firstfruits of God, to JOIN Jesus as a joint heir of his coming kingdom to be made kings and priests unto God AT his COMING so that we will rule and reign WITH Jesus in his kingdom for a 1000 years.

In other words, the 144,000 sealed Jews will NOT be given ETERNAL LIFE AT the coming of Jesus. The 144,000 will not receive eternal life until the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus. So, the 144,000 will be down on the surface of the earth, in their MORTAL bodies, while ONLY the Christians who are found to be those good and faithful Christians at the coming of Jesus will be given ETERNAL life and granted to sit on the throne, WITH Jesus, to rule and reign over the MORTALS down on the surface of the earth teaching them about the Lord.

And that is why I asked those 7 questions at the beginning of this study in God’s word because some Christians, namely the Jehovah’s Witnesses have wrongly been taught by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society that ONLY the 144,000 will go to heaven. 

Here again, are those 7 questions.

#1. Do YOU desire to be one of the 144,000?

#2. Do ONLY the 144,000 go to heaven?

#3. Do ONLY the 144,000 rule with Jesus?

#4. Will ONLY the 144,000 get to see Jesus?

#5. Do you think you have a chance to be one of the 144,000?

#6. Have the 144,000 already been chosen?

#7. Is it better to be a Christian than it is to be one of the 144,000?

And here are my questions to all my Jehovah’s Witness readers and seekers of the truth of the whole word of Almighty God.

#1. WHY would anyone want to be one of the 144,000? For you see, the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us they are the LAST ones to become the firstfruits of God, and thus, during the 1000 year reign of Jesus, the second death will still yet have POWER over THEM, the 144,000?

#2. The 144,000 are NOT allowed to enter into the city of God during the 1000 year reign of Jesus but rather they are cast out into outer darkness. The 144,000 will not enter into the city of God until the END of the 1000 years so they will be the LAST to enter into the kingdom of God just as Jesus warned the Jews, the children of Israel.

#3. The 144,000 do NOT rule and reign WITH Jesus during the 1000 years but rather they will be ruled over by Jesus and us who are Christians now in this present world.

#4. The 144,000 will go THROUGH the WRATH of Jesus and they will repent but they will not be WITH Jesus until the 1000 years are finished. So they will indeed SEE Jesus at his coming but it will not be a good thing for THEM until they REPENT and call upon the name of the Lord to be saved alive in their mortal bodies.

#5. ONLY a natural-born child of the twelve tribes of Israel has a chance of being one of the 144,000 because 12,000 are chosen from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.

#6. The 144,000 may be chosen in the mind of God but they will not actually be sealed until the COMING of Jesus. And they will be sealed to assure that they survive the WRATH of God. Christians, on the other hand, are NOT appointed to the WRATH of God. So again why would any Christian desire to be one of the 144,000?

#7. According to the Bible ITSELF, it is far better to be a true born-again faithful believer in Jesus as the SON OF the living God who suffered and died on the cross for their sins than to be one of the 144,000. And here is WHY!

If you have been a Jehovah’s Witness for very long then chances are you have heard or read the teachings of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society that teach the Jehovah’s Witnesses to believe that ONLY those who are faithful Jehovah’s Witnesses will survive the battle of Armageddon. In other words, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society WRONGLY teach that EVERYONE except for the faithful Jehovah’s Witnesses will be killed at the battle of Armageddon.

So in the mind and thinking of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, not every Jehovah’s Witness can be a RULER because according to what they have been WRONGLY TAUGHT by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society there will not be even one single person left alive to rule over. And that is how Jehovah’s Witnesses have been deceived into wrongly believing that there will only be 144,000 “Jehovah’s Witness” who will be made kings and priest of God to rule and reign with Jesus in his kingdom since they have WRONGLY been taught that ONLY the faithful Jehovah’s Witnesses will survive the battle of Armageddon. 

And when I say “deceived” I do not mean that the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society has deliberately and intentionally set out to deceive their followers. But rather I am saying that the elders and leaders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses are very sincere in what they believe and teach and when they do indeed finally SEE and understand that their predecessors have taught something in ERROR then they will change what they teach and have indeed done so in the past, many times. This is what they call “new light”. They humble themselves to admit that, in the past, some of the leaders of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society had indeed made errors in their interpretation of the Scriptures and thus they made changes to those errors.

But as you can now see from the Bible ITSELF that there are some MORE changes needed to yet be made in the teachings of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society indoctrinating the Jehovah’s Witnesses to believe only their interpretations of the Bible, claiming that they alone are able to correctly interpret the Bible. So it is my prayer that the leaders of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society will take a CLOSER look at ALL of their doctrine and make ALL the necessary changes so that ALL the teachings of the Jehovah’s Witness agree completely with what the Bible ITSELF teaches. Please understand that I am NOT speaking of what Orthodox Christianity teaches or what the mainstream church denominations teach but rather I am saying what the Bible ITSELF teaches because there are ALSO errors of interpretation made by the leaders of Orthodox Christianity and the mainstream church denominations as well.

So here is what Jesus himself teaches us about the Jews or the children of Israel being the LAST to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luke 13:23-30.

“Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 

24.  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to ENTER IN, and shall NOT be able. 

25.  When once the master of the house is risen up and has shut to the door, and you BEGIN to stand WITHOUT, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you NOT whence you are: 

26.  Then shall you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets. 

27.  But he shall say, I tell you, I know you NOT whence you are; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity. (Iniquity is sin and sin is MISSING the mark or missing what God calls us to do. And the Jews, the Muslims, the atheists, the agnostics, and all the other religions of the world have MISSED the calling of God to BELIEVE that the Son of man, Jesus, is God’s MESSIAH. The ONLY way to be in a covenant relationship with God is to BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God who died for your sins. You must have a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus to be known by Jesus.)  

28.  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth WHEN you shall SEE Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, IN the kingdom of God, and you yourselves THRUST OUT. 

29.  And THEY (The faithful believers IN Jesus Christ. Remember that Jesus descended first to the bosom of Abraham to preach to the spirits of the dead in the Old Testament so that they could be saved by the ONLY NAME given among men whereby we MUST be saved. Please read the study “WHAT AND WHERE IS PARADISE?” So Jesus is speaking about ALL those who ARE IN Jesus Christ at his coming and THEY) shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down IN the kingdom of God. 

30.  And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.” 

The children of Israel were the FIRST chosen people of God but many of the children of Israel REJECTED Jesus as their Messiah when he walked among them and taught them in their streets. So the children of Israel who REJECT Jesus as their Messiah in this PRESENT world, even though they are the FIRST chosen people of God, they will be the LAST to enter IN the kingdom of God to sit down and REST from all their works.

This will all become crystal clear as you continue reading what the Bible ITSELF teaches us. Please read the following verses where Jesus uses the phrase “the first shall be last and the last shall be first”.

Matthew 19:27-30.

“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have therefore? 

28.  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That YOU which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, YOU ALSO shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Those of the twelve tribes of Israel will be the ones who will be cast out into outer darkness and NOT allowed to enter into the city of God called the New Jerusalem AT the coming of Jesus to rule and reign WITH Jesus.)

29.  And everyone that has forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold and shall inherit everlasting life. 

30.  But many that are first shall be last, and the last shall be first.” 

You see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ it will ONLY be the faithful FOLLOWERS of Jesus in this PRESENT world who will receive ETERNAL LIFE to rule and reign WITH Jesus in the world to COME.  The Jews who REJECT Jesus now, in this present world, are NOT FOLLOWERS of Jesus and thus they will NOT receive eternal life at the coming of Jesus or rule and reign with Jesus in the world to come. There will only be a REMNANT of Israel that will be saved alive in their mortal bodies, at the end of this present world that will enter into the world to come, to be taught of the Lord.

Jesus did not say that ALL who are first shall be last but rather said that MANY that are first shall be last and the last shall be first. MANY Jews did, in fact, answer the call of the gospel to receive Jesus as their Messiah. So the last chosen people of God are ALL of the WHOSOEVER of any human being who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God who suffered and died for their sins. There is no such thing as any single church denomination or ONE Christian organization being the ONLY body of believers who are saved. And any church that dogmatically demands that they are the ONLY TRUE church is, in fact, a cult especially if they SHUN, DISFELLOWSHIP, or excommunicate their followers for QUESTION their TEACHINGS. 

So, even though the Gentiles were chosen to be God’s people AFTER the children of Israel were chosen to be God’s people, we who ARE created IN Jesus Christ to become NEW creatures will be the FIRST to receive ETERNAL LIFE. So then, ONLY those who ARE Christ’s, AT his COMING, will be added to the FIRSTFRUITS of Almighty God the Father to become the ETERNAL sons and daughters of God along WITH our BROTHER Jesus who right now is the ONLY begotten Son of God.

And God’s people, the Jews, will not receive eternal life in the world to come AT the coming of Jesus, BEFORE the 1000 year reign of Jesus. But rather they and some of those left alive of all the nation will receive eternal life AFTER the world to come has ENDED. The world to come is an AGE that will last for 1000 years. And when that age has ended God will create a new heaven and the new earth to begin the ages to come. Please read the study “HAS JESUS ALREADY RETURNED?” for a deeper sound Biblical teaching on the coming of Jesus. But for now, let us continue reading the verses with the phrase “the first shall be last and the last shall be first.” Along with the verses that teach the same thing.

Mark 10:28-31.

“Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed you. 

29.  And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left a house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,  (Now YOU as a Jehovah’s Witness are you a FOLLOWER of Jesus and his gospel? Are not ALL Christians from every church denomination FOLLOWERS of Jesus and his gospel? Are not those Christians who claim NO church denomination name upon themselves who are indeed FOLLOWERS of Jesus and his gospel all part of the YOU here that Jesus is speaking to? Then WHY do certain church denominations wrongly teach that unless you are a part of THEIR church denomination or organization then you are NOT a true follower of Jesus and his gospel and thus you are not truly saved? 

Jesus does NOT teach us that we must be baptized in a certain organization or church denomination in order to be saved. In fact, Paul warns us that this should NOT be so! So why does your church organization or church denomination wrongly teach that they ONLY have the truth? Are they HIDING something from you? Jesus said that there will be no one who follows HIM who shall not receive eternal life in the world to come. In other words, Jesus is saying that EVERYONE who endures unto the end as a faithful follower of HIM and his teachings shall be saved and shall receive eternal life in the world to come.)

30.  But he SHALL RECEIVE a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come (ALL the faithful believers in Jesus as the Christ the SON OF the living God SHALL RECEIVE) eternal life. 

31.  But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.” 

So again what does this phrase “many that are first shall be last and the last shall be first” truly mean according to the Bible ITSELF? It means that the Jews or the children of Israel were the first people to be chosen by God but IF they reject Jesus as their Messiah they will be cut off from being God’s people. And the ONLY way to become God’s people again is to repent of their sin of rejecting Jesus as their Messiah and call upon his name to be saved. 

Abraham was the very first person God chose and God made him a promise that he would be the father of many NATIONS plural. Abraham became the father of two nations but it was the nation of the seed of Jacob that was chosen to bring forth the Messiah.

And when the Messiah came many Jews did indeed accept Jesus as being the Christ, the SON OF the living God but at the same time, many other Jews REJECTED Jesus as being their Messiah. And this is when God turned to the Gentiles who were never a people of God to give to them a CALL to become a CHOSEN people of God. 

Now keep in mind that God is doing a NEW THING in the earth and the OLD covenant that the children of Israel had with God is no longer valid. There are no more sacrifices for sin and therefore anyone who does NOT BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God who suffered and died for their sins shall DIE in their sins. So then, NOW under the New Covenant that God made, the ONLY way to be grafted into God’s Olive tree is to accept Jesus as your Messiah. So the ONLY way that any Jew or natural-born child of Israel can be grafted back into the natural Olive tree of God is to accept Jesus as their Messiah.

Now, we are FOLLOWERS of Jesus in this present world but we have not yet BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of God. This will not happen until the COMING of Jesus which is when we ONLY who ARE Christ’s AT his coming will be given ETERNAL LIFE to rule and reign WITH Jesus in the world to come and that is when we actually become the FIRSTFRUITS of God to join Jesus who has already become the very first FIRSTFRUITS of God.

But there will be yet another group of FIRSTFRUITS to be added LATER at the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus. In other words, there will be a REMNANT of Jews who will recognize Jesus AT his COMING and they will mourn and repent to become KIND of firstfruits, to become FOLLOWERS of Jesus. So they will be saved alive in their MORTAL bodies and remain on the earth to be taught of the Lord in the world to come as the DISCIPLES of Jesus. The word disciple means a LEARNER.

To say this another way, the 144,000, along with a remnant of Jews and those left alive of the NATIONS will LEARN to become FOLLOWERS of Jesus DURING the world to come which will be an AGE lasting 1000 years.

So you do NOT want to be one of the 144,000 sealed children of Israel because THEY do NOT receive eternal life AT the coming of Jesus and therefore the second death will still have power over THEM. You do not want to be one of the Jews who only accepts Jesus AFTER they SEE him coming in clouds of great glory for the same reason. And you definitely do NOT want to be one of those left alive of the nations because some of them will be tempted at the end of the 1000 years to rebel and make war with God’s people and the city of God and they will be destroyed by the final part of God’s wrath and cast into the lake of fire.
