SPELLING EDITED U-5. COLOSSIANS 2:9 TRUE MEANING OF GODHEAD! Does the word “Godhead” mean THREE persons in the ONE true God as Trinitarian Christians teach? Or does the word “Godhead” truly mean ONE God in ONE person who alone is the Father as being the “HEAD” God or the HIGHEST God like that Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY? Let us find out what the Bible itself teaches us what the word “Godhead” TRULY means in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. The word “Godhead” is found only in three verses of Scripture in the New Testament. We will first read all three verses out of their CONTEXT first. And then we will read each or the three verses being left IN their context to learn the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of the word “Godhead” when it is correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. Please read the following three verses of Scripture containing the word “Godhead” in them. Acts 17:29. “For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.”
Romans 1:20. “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” Colossians 2:9. “For IN him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Now, it is only Trinitarian Christians who “INTERPRET” the word “Godhead” to mean THREE separate persons in the one TRINITY Godhead. And therefore, to them, that means that the word “God” also means THREE separate persons in the ONE TRUE God. But is their Trinitarian “interpretation” what the Bible ITSELF truly teaches us when we read these three verses being left in their context? Let us now read each of these three verses one at a time being left IN their context to learn the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of the word “Godhead” when it is correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. Please read Acts 17:29-31. “For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. (Even in this one verse being taken out of its context, we can see that God, who we know is the ONE TRUE God, is called the Godhead. So then, God IS the Godhead, according to what the Bible itself teaches us. So now, the question becomes, “Is God made up of three separate persons in the ONE true God?” Let us read the CONTEXT to see what the Bible itself teaches us) 30. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; (Or the Godhead winked at) but now commands all men every where to repent: 31. Because He has appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness BY that MAN whom He has ordained; whereof He has given assurance unto all men, in that He has raised him from the dead.” Clearly, the Bible itself teaches us that God IS the Godhead and that the ONE true God is only ONE person and NOT three separate persons in a so-called Trinity Godhead as the doctrine of the Trinity CLAIMS. Please notice that all of the pronouns referring back to the word “God” which IS the Godhead are all SINGULAR. Also, please notice that the Godhead is NOT the MAN, Jesus whom God raised from the dead as the Oneness Pentecostal Christians wrongly teach by insisting that Jesus IS the Father. The Apostles of Jesus clearly teach us that there is but ONE God in 1 Corinthians 8:6 whom the very eyewitnesses of Jesus clearly identify as being the FATHER. Then Paul goes on to also teach us that to us there is but one “Lord” who he clearly identifies as being Jesus Christ who was MADE Lord after the cross, according to Acts 2:36. Please read 1 Corinthians 8:5-7. “For though there be that are CALLED gods, whether IN HEAVEN or in earth, (as there be gods MANY, and lords many,) 6. But to us, there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are ALL things, and we IN him; (Speaking of being IN the Father by our believing IN His Son, Jesus) AND (To us who BELIEVE in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of Almighty God the Father there is also) ONE Lord, Jesus Christ, by (Or BECAUSE OF or as the result of what Jesus did on the cross for us we are IN the Son) whom are ALL things, and WE by him. (The English word “things” is NOT in the original Greek text. And the ALL is speaking of the ALL of whosoever BELIEVES in Jesus are IN the Son BECAUSE OF him. The Greek word translated as by also means BECAUSE OF or BY REASON OF Jesus laying down his own life on the cross of his own free will to atone for the sins of the world) 7. Howbeit, there is NOT in every man that knowledge: for SOME with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.” Now, SOME Christians “interpret” the MANY gods as being ALL of the many gods that are false IDOLS. But the Scripture says that many are CALLED gods IN HEAVEN as well as there being false idol gods on the earth that SOME men make to be gods that are NOT gods at all. Some of you may already know that some of the angels are called Elohim which means God and many gods. So the word “God” is a TITLE which can mean the ONE TRUE God who ALONE in the FATHER, according to 1 Corinthians 8:6 and several other clear verses of Scripture in the Bible that clearly identify the FATHER as being the only true God. But the word “God” can ALSO mean the many gods IN HEAVEN that the one true and ONLY Almighty God, the HIGHEST God, or the God “HEAD” set to become gods or mighty ones to rule over parts of the vast universe that God created. But SOME Christians do not yet have this knowledge. Some Christians have yet to come to the knowledge of the truth that Jesus was MADE Lord and God AFTER the cross. You see, Thomas did not call Jesus by the TITLES “My Lord and my God” until AFTER the cross. It was AFTER the resurrection that Jesus showed his disciples that he was alive forever more by saying to them and to us “I am NOT a SPIRIT because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see me have.” But Thomas was not there to see Jesus for himself and he did not believe that Jesus was alive from the dead. Thomas needed to SEE Jesus alive for himself before he would believe. Jesus then appeared to them again and told Thomas to put his finger into the nail hole in his hand and that is WHEN Thomas BELIEVED that Jesus is our Lord and our God. Now, the Apostles of Jesus knew full well that Jesus is NOT Almighty God Himself and that Jesus was MADE Lord and God after the cross. Otherwise, they would have never written Acts 2:36 which clearly teaches us that Jesus was MADE both Lord and Christ. Please read Acts 2:36,37. “Therefore, let all the house of Israel KNOW ASSUREDLY, that God has MADE that same Jesus, whom you have CRUCIFIED, both Lord and Christ. 37. Now when they heard this, they were PRICKED in their heart, (It is the Holy Spirit who PRICKS our heart to BELIEVE the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ) and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
Almighty God wants all Christians to KNOW with absolute ASSURANCE that it was Almighty God the Father Himself who MADE the CRUCIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, to become both Lord and Christ after the cross. The Greek word translate as Christ, also means Messiah and Jesus was not yet made the Savior until he was CRUCIFIED by Satan and then resurrected by God to be DECLARED the Son of God with POWER BY the resurrection, according to Romans 1:3,4. This brings us to the next verse in Romans 1:20 that contains the word “Godhead”. Let us read Romans 1:20 first and then we will read Romans 1:3,4 to learn that Jesus was GIVEN all power after the cross. But Almighty God, the Father, Himself who is the Godhead in ONE person has ETERNAL power that He has always possessed and no other God GAVE Him His ETERNAL power. Romans 1:20. “For the invisible things OF Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, (This means that everything that is created was created out from the INVISIBLE God. There was NOTHING seen UNTIL the Eternal invisible God created what is made FROM what is not seen or from what is invisible which is SPIRIT. And God IS a Spirit) being understood by the things that are made, even His ETERNAL power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” Again, the ONE Godhead is clearly defined as being ONE person in the SINGULAR by the use of the SINGULAR pronoun His. And we see that this ONE person of the Godhead has always possessed ETERNAL power. But according to the context in Romans 1:3,4 and other verses of Scripture in the New Testament, we clearly see that Jesus was GIVEN all power after the cross. Let us now read Romans 1:3,4. “Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was MADE of the seed of David according to the FLESH; (Jesus was first made a little LOWER than the angels and then CROWNED with glory and honor after the cross) 4. And DECLARED TO BE (Or declared to BECOME) the Son of God WITH POWER, according to the spirit of holiness, BY the resurrection from the dead:” The very Apostles of Jesus clearly understood Jesus to be a MAN MADE by God to first be made a little LOWER than the angels, according to Hebrew 2:5-13, and then CROWNED with glory after the cross to judge the fallen angels and to be worshiped by the angels in the world to come. The Apostles of Jesus clearly understood that God ANOINTED the Son of MAN at the baptism of Jesus with the Holy Spirit and POWER who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the Devil FOR God was WITH him by God DWELLING IN him, according to Acts 10:38. And in John 5:19, Jesus himself said that he could do NOTHING OF himself and that it was the Father dwelling IN him who did the works, according to John 14:10. So DURING the days of his flesh, Jesus had NO POWER of his own. And it was AFTER the cross and resurrection that Jesus proclaimed that ALL power is GIVEN unto him, according to Matthew 28:18. So then, seeing that all power was GIVEN TO Jesus after the cross, you can clearly see that Jesus is NOT a part of the so-called Trinity Godhead that is supposedly made up of three separate persons of the one Godhead. For you see, The ETERNAL Godhead would not have needed to be GIVEN POWER because Romans 1:20 teaches us that the Godhead has ETERNAL power. And again, Romans 1:20 defines the one Godhead and being SINGULAR in person by the SINGULAR pronoun “His” eternal power. This brings us to the third verse of Scripture that contains the word “Godhead” in it that is found in Colossians 1:9. Please read Colossians 1:6-12. “As you have, therefore, received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk you in him: (Now, I myself received Jesus by believing that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God as opposed to believing that Jesus IS the living God Himself) 7. Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (This does NOT mean to be established in the faith of church DENOMINATIONS that you have been taught. But rather, we are to be rooted and grounded in the TRUTH of the gospel of Jesus Christ as the Bible itself teaches us) 8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and NOT after Christ. 9. FOR (Or BECAUSE) IN him DWELLS all the FULNESS OF the Godhead bodily. 10. And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (Now no one was complete in Jesus until AFTER the cross and resurrection. And according to the CONTEXT in Colossians 1:19, it was AFTER the cross that it PLEASED the Father that all FULLNESS should DWELL IN him being the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD. Jesus is the BEGINNING of the church which is the BEGINNING of God's creation of righteous new creatures. And thus, Jesus is the FIRST to be BORN from the DEAD to become the FIRSTBORN of every CREATURE to be made in the IMAGE of the invisible God. So BEWARE of the traditional man-made church doctrines that are NOT after Christ) 11. In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12. Buried with him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation OF God, who has raised him from the dead.” So then, it was AFTER the cross and resurrection that the FULLNESS of the Godhead BEGAN to DWELL IN the risen Jesus. Now, according to the Trinitarian “INTERPRETATION” of the word “Godhead” then this verse would have to be interpreted as “For in him dwells fullness of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit bodily.” And to me, it makes no sense for the Son to DWELL IN the Son. It makes no sense to say that God dwells IN God. Keep in mind that it PLEASED the Father that the FULLNESS of the Godhead SHOULD dwell in Jesus. It was BECAUSE Jesus loved righteousness and hated sin that his God and Father ANOINTED Jesus to be above his fellows or above his brethren. Jesus is the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN. So then, the FULLNESS of the Godhead simply means that ALL of the POWER that Almighty God possesses was GIVEN TO the Son of MAN, Jesus, after God raised him from the dead because it PLEASED the Father to SET Jesus at His own right hand to rule as God for Yahweh the Father in the NAME OF Yahweh for 1000 years in the world to come. So according to the Bible itself, Jesus was MADE to become Deity AFTER the cross and resurrection to be DECLARED the Son of God WITH POWER, according to the spirit of holiness, BY the RESURRECTION from the dead. That is WHEN Jesus was MADE in the express IMAGE of his God and Father and he OBTAINED a NAME by INHERITANCE to become more excellent than the angels. Now IF Jesus was truly Almighty God in the flesh during the days of his flesh then Jesus would have already had a more excellent NAME than the angels. But the Bible itself clearly teaches us that Jesus OBTAINED a new name AFTER the cross that is above every other name EXCEPT for Yahweh, the Father. And Jesus obtained that new name BY INHERITING it from his God and Father. Please read Hebrews 1:3-6. “Who BEING the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, (Or the exact copy of His essence or quality of character) and upholding ALL things by the word of His power, (The English word “things” was added by the translator and the word ALL is referring to the ALL who BELIEVE in Jesus to be created by God IN Jesus to become God’s new creation of NEW CREATURES of righteousness. The Greek word translated as “upholding” the ALL also means to BEAR the ALL, as in, to BEAR the sins of the all by or according to the word of Yahweh’s power) when he had by himself (Or more precisely and in truth, by Him speaking of the Eternal Spirit. For you see, Jesus offered himself THROUGH the Eternal Spirit without spot to God in order to) purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Also, the Greek word translated as “himself” also means “him” and according to Hebrews 9:14 Jesus did NOT purge our sins alone and by himself without any help from his God and Father) 4. BEING MADE so much better than the angels, as he has BY inheritance OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than they. (According to Isaiah 62:2,3; Philippians 2:8-11; and Revelation 3:12, Jesus was GIVEN a NEW NAME after the cross that is higher than any other name EXCEPT for Yahweh Himself, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28) 5. For unto which of the angels said He at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a Son? 6. And again, when He brings in the first begotten into the world, He says, And let all the angels of God worship him.” Now, to me, Hebrews 1:5 proves that Jesus did NOT preexist as God’s Son in the eternity past. For you see, why would God PROPHESY that He WILL BE a Father to Jesus and Jesus SHALL BE a Son to Him if so be that Jesus preexisted as the Son of God BEFORE his Virgin birth? So to me, the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that Almighty God is NOT a Trinity Godhead made up of three separate persons in the ONE true God. But rather, the Bible itself clearly identifies the ONE TRUE God as being ONLY the Father and Jesus as being COMMISSIONED or EMPOWERED BY his God and Father to live without sin and lay down his life on the cross for the sins of the world. And WHOSOEVER of any person in the whole world who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God. And they believe that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for their sins and that God raised Jesus from the dead and they confess this from their heart, then they shall be saved, according to Romans 10:8-11.
