SPELLING EDITEDZ-3. THE INVISIBLE COMING OF JESUS!ORIs THE 1000 YEAR REIGN OF JESUS A LITERAL 1000 YEARS?Did Jesus come Invisibly in 1914 or at any other time? Are the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society correct in their teaching that Jesus has already returned INVISIBLY? Is the1000 year reign of Jesus a LITERAL 1000 year reign? This will be a study in God’s word so if you do NOT believe what the Bible ITSELF teaches then this study is not for you. I will use the verses brought forth by the Jehovah’s Witnesses publications as their proof text as to WHY they sincerely believe with all their hearts that Jesus has already returned INVISIBLY and that is why they hold fast to the teaching that there will be no future VISIBLE coming of Jesus. To keep this study as short as possible I will not cover every verse but rather I will cover what the Watch Tower terms as “misconceptions” made by those who teach the absolute literal visible coming of Jesus in the very near future. I will put their words in a different font style. And the emphasis is mine. Common misconceptions about Christ’s comingMisconception: When the Bible says that people will SEE Jesus “coming on the clouds,” it means that Jesus will come VISIBLY.—Matthew 24:30. Fact: The Bible often associates clouds with something hidden from view. (Leviticus 16:2;Numbers 11:25; Deuteronomy 33:26) For example, God told Moses: “I am coming to you in a dark cloud.” (Exodus 19:9) Moses did not literally see God. Likewise, Christ ‘comes on the clouds’ in that people perceive his coming even though they cannot literally see him.
The argument AGAINST the LITERAL VISIBLE yet future coming of Jesus is based upon the interpretation that ALL the verses in the Bible referring to the COMING of Jesus are NOT LITERAL but rather they are symbolic. In their words, The Watch Tower publications are claiming that all the verses in the Bible concerning the COMING of Jesus are speaking of an INVISIBLE coming of Jesus and NOT a LITERAL coming of Jesus. The first question every Jehovah’s Witness should ask their self is WHY? What is the REASON why we should interpret these verses as NOT being LITERAL? Simply do your OWN research. After all, it is the salvation of YOUR soul that is at stake. Start by typing in the Google search bar “The invisible coming of Jesus in 1914”. And then read any one of the articles on the FACTS of failed prophecy and you will find that the early pioneers of the Jehovah’s Witnesses sincerely believed with all their heart in the VISIBLE return of Jesus. But when their prophet’s prophecies did not come to pass after several changes to his prophecies he told them that Jesus did come but his coming was INVISIBLE. And thus BEGAN the CHANGE from the OLD Jehovah’s Witness teaching of a VISIBLE coming to their NEW teaching of an INVISIBLE coming of Jesus. Or you can simply read the Bible for YOURSELF to see if what you are being taught by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
Please read Acts 3:20,21. “And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21. Whom the heaven must receive UNTIL the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” The restitution of all things is speaking of the KINGDOM of God on the earth being RESTORED to his people Israel. Now I do not know about you, but I myself do NOT see Israel being the head nation of the world and the Bible ITSELF states, as a FACT, with no interpretation needed, that heaven MUST RECEIVE Jesus UNTIL it is time to RESTORE the kingdom to Israel and this has NOT yet happened. Therefore Jesus has NOT returned invisibly or in any manner back in 1914 or at any other time. And please do not be deceived by the argument that Jesus is PRESENTLY restoring the kingdom to Israel GRADUALLY over many years beginning in 1914. Simply read the Bible for YOURSELF to see if that is a sound Biblical argument. What is one of the very FIRST things that Jesus will do when he actually BEGINS to restore the Kingdom to Israel? Please read Isaiah 2:2,3. “And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the LORD FROM Jerusalem. (Please notice that when Jesus returns, then the TEACHING of God’s word will come FROM Jerusalem and NOT from New York City from the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.) 4. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall NOT lift up sword against nation, NEITHER shall they learn WAR any more.” Please read Isaiah 2:3,4. “And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the LORD FROM Jerusalem. (Please notice that when Jesus returns, then the TEACHING of God’s word will come FROM Jerusalem and NOT from New York City from the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.) 4. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall NOT lift up sword against nation, NEITHER shall they learn WAR any more.” So then, since there are still WARS, MURDERS, VIOLENCE, CRIME, and FIGHTING then Jesus has NOT yet returned because Jesus will END all of those things as being one of the very first things that he does. Can you not see that the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is trying to COVER-UP the failed prophecies made by the founders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses? THINK for yourself. Why would there be any MORE prophecies made after 1914 if so be that Jesus already returned invisibly back in 1914? The truth of the matter is that after 1975 when the Prophecy failed there was a huge decline in the number of Jehovah’s Witnesses due to MANY leaving the Organization because of the FAILED prophecy. And since 1975 the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society has not made any more prophecies but rather now focuses on trying to prove the INVISIBLE return of Jesus back in 1914 by CLAIMING that all the verses referring to the coming of Jesus are NOT to be taken LITERALLY. I implore all Jehovah’s Witnesses to do your OWN research by going to any number of websites that will give you ALL the FACTS. May I suggest JWFacts.com? Just click on this LINK to one of there many articles that QUOTE the Watchtower publications. Here is a quote from their article on the 1975 prophecy on Armageddon. 1975 - Watchtower QuotesFrom 1966 to 1975, the Watchtower regularly implied that Armageddon would arrive in 1975. However, ask one of Jehovah's Witnesses about this date and they will invariably deny there ever being such statements. The following exhaustive list of quotes shows the Watchtower left little to the imagination regarding 1975. In 1980, the Watchtower made a post-1975 admission that it had encouraged the viewpoint that Jesus earthly rulership would begin in 1975. "With the appearance of the book Life Everlasting-in Freedom of the Sons of God and its comments as to how appropriate it would be for the millennial reign of Christ to parallel the seventh millennium of man's existence, considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975. ... Unfortunately, however, along with such cautionary information, there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility ." Watchtower 1980 Mar 15 p.17The FACT is that Jesus will return to END the battle of Armageddon. So one of the very VISIBLE SIGNS that will occur, BEFORE Jesus returns, is the abomination that causes desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel, which is defined or interpreted FOR us in the gospel of Luke. Jesus himself tells us that Jerusalem will be surrounded by ARMIES. And from other verses of the Bible, we can understand and know that those armies will be Islamic Muslim armies seeking to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth once and for all. Please read Luke 20:20-22. “And when you shall SEE Jerusalem compassed with armies, then KNOW that the desolation thereof is nigh.21. Then let them which are in Judaea FLEE to the mountains, and let them which are in the midst of it depart out, and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.” Now read the parallel accounts in both Matthew and Mark and noticed what Jesus says right before the warning to FLEE Judea. Matthew 24:15,16.“When you, therefore, shall SEE the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) 16. Then let them which be in Judea FLEE into the mountains:” Mark 13:14. “But when you shall SEE the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand,) then let them that be in Judea FLEE to the mountains:” So Jesus HIMSELF defines FOR us what the abomination of desolation IS in Luke 20:21 which is that Jerusalem will be surrounded by ARMIES to make the city of Jerusalem DESOLATE. The Bible itself describes the world right before the coming of Jesus as men DESTROYING the earth. Please read Revelation 11:15-19. “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever. (When Jesus returns he will LITERALLY reign for a LITERAL 1000 years. And AT his coming ALL the kingdoms of this present world will become HIS kingdoms and trust me, when I say, that Jesus will be making some BIG CHANGES. And as I said before that one of the first changes will be NO MORE WAR during his reign. And since there have been wars since 1914 then you can know with absolute certainty that Jesus has NOT returned INVISIBLY at any time.) 16. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17. Saying, We give you thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which are, and were, and are to come; because you have taken to you your great power, and have reigned. 18. And the nations were angry, and your wrath IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should give REWARD unto your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your name, small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the earth. 19. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” So then, WHEN Jesus returns there will be no less than four things that will take place AT the TIME of his COMING. Verse 18 is very clear on this matter. #1. The nations will be angry that God’s wrath has COME. The Bible teaches us that when Jesus returns one of the things he will do is execute the VENGEANCE and WRATH of God upon the wicked. He will deliver the faithful Christian from the WRATH by a rapture because we are not appointed to God’s wrath. Jesus will have the 144,000 children of Israel sealed to protect them from the wrath of God so that they will be guaranteed to remain alive in their mortal bodies to go into the Millennium to be taught of the Lord. There will also be some of the nations who repent and call upon the name of the Lord to be saved alive in their mortal bodies as well. 1 Corinthians 15:42-45. “So also is the resurrection of the dead. (Meaning that this MORTAL body, which we have NOW, will be resurrected or changed to become an IMMORTAL body) It is sown in corruption; (Meaning that the mortal body died, it will slowly decay and turn back to the dust of the earth.) it is raised in incorruption: (Meaning that the body, we are resurrected with, will never die and thus it will never decay. It also means that it will not get sick and not grow old and weak. There is nothing in this verse that would lead anyone to believe we will be resurrected as invisible spirit beings that cannot be seen.) 43. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: (Still nothing about being INVISIBLE) 44. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (And all of this means is that the NATURAL body is MORTAL and our new glorified spiritual body like Jesus has now will be IMMORTAL and we shall never die or grow old and weak. Being changed to have a spiritual BODY does not make us SPIRITS. Spirits do NOT have BODIES but we will have a spiritual BODY. When Jesus appeared to his disciples they were afraid because they THOUGHT that he was a spirit but Jesus said why are you afraid, I am NOT a SPIRIT because a spirit does not have a BODY and I have a BODY of flesh and bones. See for yourself, HANDLE me. PROVE to yourselves that it is ME and that I now have an IMMORTAL BODY of flesh and bones.) 45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.” What this verse means is that God gave the FULNESS of his Spirit to the Son of MAN Jesus along with ALL authority and power to raise the dead and GIVE ETERNAL LIFE to whomsoever he chooses. So you had better HONOR the Son EVEN AS you HONOR the Father because it is the Son who will CHOOSE who will receive ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come. Now WE will not be made a LIFE GIVEN spirit but rather we will be given IMMORTAL bodies of FLESH and BONES just like Jesus has NOW for we shall be like him at his coming for we shall SEE him as he IS. 1 John 3:2. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear (Or it has not yet manifested) what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall SEE him as he IS.” Let us read the words of Jesus when he appeared to his disciples in the upper room that same EVENING after he was raised from the dead EARLY that MORNING. Have you ever wondered WHY Jesus WAITED all the way to the EVENING to show himself ALIVE forevermore when he was raised from the dead EARLY in the MORNING before DAWN? I will share why in a moment right after we read Luke 24:37-39. Luke 24:37-39. “But they were terrified and affrighted and supposed that they had seen a spirit. (There is a big difference from being a spirit than there is from having a spiritual BODY which is an IMMORTAL BODY.) 38. And he said unto them, Why are you troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39. Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I MYSELF: HANDLE ME, and see (Or TOUCH me and prove to yourselves that I am NOT a SPIRIT); for (Or BECAUSE) a spirit has NOT FLESH and BONES AS you SEE ME HAVE.” I want you to notice that Jesus HIMSELF states as a FACT that he is NOT a SPIRIT and that he has a BODY of FLESH and BONE that can be SEEN and TOUCHED. And Jesus told them to TOUCH him and HANDLE him so that they could KNOW beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus was not resurrected as a SPIRIT. Yes, Jesus was raised with a SPIRITUAL BODY but a SPIRIT does not have ANY type of tangible BODY. A spirit can manifest itself to be seen but it does not have a REAL BODY that can be TOUCH and HANDLED like the RESURRECTED REAL IMMORTAL BODY of Jesus. Now let us go back in time from Jesus appearing to his disciples that SAME EVENING to the early MORNING hours when Mary Magdalene saw Jesus right after his resurrection and hear what Jesus told her NOT to do and WHY he told her NOT to do it. Please read John 20:9-20. “For as yet they knew NOT the Scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. (They did not UNDERSTAND fully that their Messiah must die and then be resurrected from the dead at this point in time so they THOUGHT that someone STOLE the dead body of Jesus. The tomb was empty except for the cloth they cover Jesus with which by the way was all folded nice and neat and laid right where the dead body of Jesus laid.) 10. Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. (Two of the disciples went into the tomb, came out and left) 11. But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher, 12. And SEES (Not PERCEIVES but SEES two spirit beings who have spiritual BODIES who are) two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have TAKEN AWAY my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. 14. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back and SAW Jesus standing, and knew NOT that it was Jesus. (Because she was weeping and truly believed that someone had taken the dead body of Jesus and laid it somewhere else. She did not expect Jesus to be ALIVE but rather she was looking for his DEAD body to anoint it because the weekly Sabbath had ended.) 15. Jesus said unto her, Woman, why weep you? Whom do you seek? She, supposing him to be the gardener, said unto him, Sir, if you have borne him hence, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away. (Mary was not looking for a RISEN Lord but rather she was looking for his DEAD BODY so she probably did not even pay any attention to what this person looked like who was talking to her. But when Jesus spoke her NAME then she turns to see this person who somehow KNEW her NAME.) 16. Jesus said unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and said unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. (Now she KNOWS that it is Jesus, RISEN from the dead and probably wants to give him a big hug but Jesus says do NOT TOUCH me, Mary. But WHY? Why would Jesus tell Mary Magdalene to NOT TOUCH him?) 17. Jesus said unto her, TOUCH me NOT; FOR (Or BECAUSE) I am NOT YET ASCENDED to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ASCEND unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. (So Mary leaves and goes to tell the disciples that she saw Jesus ALIVE) 18. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had SEEN the Lord, (Not PERCEIVED the Lord but actually LITERALLY SEEN Jesus) and that he had spoken these things unto her. 19. Then the SAME DAY at EVENING, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and said unto them, Peace be unto you. 20. And when he had so said, he SHOWED unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples GLAD, when they SAW the Lord.” Now we just read in Luke where Jesus told his disciples to HANDLE him or TOUCH him to prove to themselves that he was NOT a SPIRIT but that SAME DAY early that MORNING he told Mary to NOT TOUCH him BECAUSE he had NOT YET ASCENDED to his Father and his God. The Bible tells us in John 3:13 that no MAN has ascended up into heaven but he himself who has DESCENDED from heaven and is IN heaven. Jesus, the Son of MAN ASCENDED into heaven right after telling Mary to NOT TOUCH him and then DESCENDED back down to the earth to SHOW his disciples his NEW GLORIFIED IMMORTAL BODY and then forty days later ASCEND back into heaven with the SAME SPIRITUAL IMMORTAL GLORIFIED BODY of FLESH and BONE that his Father GAVE to him when he ASCENDED the FIRST time right after talking to Mary, right after God raised his dead body from the grave. Now every verse the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society uses to TRY and prove that Jesus was raised from the dead as an INVISIBLE SPIRIT can be explained but rather than do that I want to cut straight to the heart of the matter and use the verse 1 Timothy 6:16 left IN its CONTEXT which they take OUT of it context and use to try and prove that Jesus is now INVISIBLE after his resurrection. Let me re-quote their words first and then we will take a CLOSER look at what 1Timothy 6:16 truly means when it is left IN its CONTEXT. Misconception: The expression “every eye will see him,” used at Revelation 1:7 when speaking of Christ’s coming, is to be understood literally. Fact: The Greek words in the Bible for “eye” and “seeing” are SOMETIMES used in the sense of discerning or perceiving rather than referring to literal sight. * (Matthew 13:15; Luke 19:42; Romans 15:21; Ephesians 1:18) The Bible says that the resurrected Jesus is “the one . . . who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man . . . can see.” (1 Timothy 6:16) Thus, “every eye will see him” in that all people will perceive that Jesus is the one who brings God’s judgment.—Matthew 24:30.
What did the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society leave OUT? Do you see those three dots? That means that they did NOT quote the WHOLE verse to you. Whenever you see three dots then that should be a red flag to you to make absolutely sure that you read that verse for yourself IN the whole CONTEXT to be sure you are being taught the truth of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. Now let us read 1Timothy 6:13-16 to learn what this verse 16 truly means. 1 Timothy 6:13-16. “I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens all things, (So it is God ALONE who is the SOURCE of ALL life and who quickens or makes alive all things) AND before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; (In other words, Timothy is speaking of TWO different and separate beings here. He is talking about God the Father AND his SON Jesus. And he is repeating to us that Jesus came to SHOW us the FATHER to be the ONLY TRUE God like Jesus himself declares in John 17:1-3) 14. That you keep this commandment (Or instruction) without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15. Which in his times (Speaking of both his first coming and also his second coming in the world to come) he shall show, who is the blessed and ONLY Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; (Jesus came to show us the FATHER as the only true God and himself as being the Christ the SON OF the living God.) 16. Who ONLY has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man HAS SEEN, nor CAN SEE: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.” This passage of Scripture is speaking about Yahweh, Almighty God the Father who ONLY has always possessed IMMORTALITY in himself without anyone GIVING him immortality. Not the part that the leaders of the Jehovah's Witness LEFT OUT and replaced with those three dots.
They quote the one… who dwells in the light…
But the verse actually says the one who is the blessed and ONLY Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16. Who ONLY has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man HAS SEEN, nor CAN SEE: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen. Now the REASON that they left this out is due to the fact that if they left it in then you would KNOW that this verse proves that it is Yahweh the Father who is the INVISIBLE God who ONLY is the ALMIGHTY God and who ONLY has always had eternal life and whom NO man has EVER SEEN. Can you not see my dear Jehovah’s Witness brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus the Christ, that only DISHONEST leaders would HIDE things from their flock? The LEADERS of the Jehovah’s Witness are so set on TRYING to prove that Jesus has already returned INVISIBLY that they have stooped to LYING to the Jehovah’s Witnesses by KEEPING information from them. Need I say any more than this! How many more errors of interpretations made by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society and their COVER-UPS do you need before you come out from among them or at least try all you know to do to get your LEADERS to teach you the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God and STOP their SHUNNING practice? The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society have been teaching you FALSE doctrine so YOU need to share with your leaders the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. BUT BEFORE you do that get the names, the addresses, the emails, and phone numbers of every member of your Kingdom Hall fellowship and as many other fellowship halls so that you can share with them as much of the truth of the whole word of God that you can before you get SHUNNED. Because after you are shunned for just merely sharing the TRUTH with them you will no longer be allowed access to that kind of information. You will be dead to your family and to every other Jehovah's Witness. You will be an apostate to them simply because you QUESTIONED the teaching of the Watch Tower which CONTRADICTS what the Bible ITSELF teaches. Please read these other studies in God’s word that I have written for YOU, and all my dear Jehovah’s Witness brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, so that your eyes of understanding will be opened to see and understand the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God and so that you can share the truth with as many of your family members and friends who are Jehovah's Witnesses as you can before you are shunned.
