SPELLING EDITED Was Jesus, during the days of his FLESH, fully a human being with NO divine nature of his own? Or was Jesus, during the days of his FLESH, both fully the divine eternal one true God AND fully human at the SAME time having TWO natures, one divine, and one human?
What does the Bible ITSELF teach us in SIMPLICITY?
When I myself read and study the Bible, I like to keep it as SIMPLE as possible. So I interpret the verses that are not so clear to understand what they mean exactly in the light of the simple verses that do not need any interpretation to understand what they mean. For example, all Christians would agree that the Bible ITSELF clearly, and plainly teaches us that we MUST believe that Jesus is the SON OF God. But none of those verses dogmatically demand that we must INTERPRET what the phrase “SON OF God” means in order to be saved. Rather, the Bible itself simple states as a FACT that we must believe that Jesus is the SON OF God in order to not perish and receive eternal life in the world to come. Also, please consider that the Bible teaches us that we are to follow the steps of Jesus who did NO SIN. So how can WE, being FULLY HUMAN, follow in the steps of a FULLY ALMIGHTY God Jesus? Now, to ME, it is easier to believe and follow in the steps of a FULLY HUMAN Jesus who was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and POWER to overcome sin. And that is EXACTLY what the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY.
Please read Hebrews 9:14-17.
“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who THROUGH the eternal Spirit offered himself WITHOUT SPOT to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (According to the doctrine of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity, this verse is saying that a fully Almighty God overcame sin through the power of the fully Almighty God who is the Eternal Spirit so that the fully Almighty God could offer Himself up TO the fully Almighty God. But the way I read this verse of Scripture, I see the fully HUMAN Jesus who was ANOINTED with the Eternal Holy Spirit and POWER and the Son of MAN, Jesus, THROUGH the power of the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him overcame sin. So then, to ME, I see the fully HUMAN Jesus THROUGH the power of the ONE Eternal Spirit offering himself without sin TO his God and Father who IS the ONE Eternal Spirit) 15. And for this cause, he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.”
So then, ACCORDING to the doctrine of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity, it is NECESSARY that Almighty God Himself to have DIED on the cross but yet still be ALIVE in order to be able to resurrect HIMSELF from the dead. And to ME, that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Paul said the SIMPLICITY of the gospel and to ME, the doctrine of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity is NOT simplicity. In fact, both doctrines argue that what they believe and teach is a MYSTERY. Now the word translated as “MYSTERY” in the Bible simply means something that was kept SECRET. But, according to the Bible itself, we are GIVEN to know and understand the “mystery”. Please consider the following verses of Scripture. And as you are reading them please notice that ALL but two verses clearly teach us that the MYSTERY is ALWAYS revealed to us and clearly made known to be UNDERSTOOD. But that is NOT the way Oneness and Trinitarian Christians use the word “MYSTERY”. They use the word mystery to mean that it can NOT EVER be understood, as in, it is such a “mystery” that no one can completely understand how Almighty God could become a man and yet remain the fully Almighty God having TWO natures at the SAME time DURING the days of his FLESH.
Mark 4:11.
“And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:”
Romans 11:25.
“ For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles have come in.”
Romans 16:25.
“Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”
1 Corinthians 2:7.
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:”
Now in the light of all the other verses of Scripture where the mystery is ALWAYS revealed then this verse in 1 Corinthians 2:7 may SEEM to be saying that Paul is teaching us wisdom IN a MYSTERY. But in truth, Paul is REVEALING the mystery so that we can understand what God kept SECRET until the Messiah came. We will read the CONTEXT of this verse after we read the rest of the verses of Scriptures that have the word “MYSTERY” in them.
1 Corinthians 15:51.
“Behold, I SHOW you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,” In other words, Paul explains and REVEALS the mystery so that it is no longer a mystery.
Ephesians 1:9.
“ Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:”
Ephesians 3:3.
“How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words),”
Ephesians 3:4.
“Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ”
Ephesians 3:9.
“And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”
Ephesians 5:32.
“This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
Ephesians 6:19.
“And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,”
Colossians 1:26.
“Even the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:”
Colossians 1:27.
“ To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, (In other words, Paul is teaching us to UNDERSTAND that the mystery that was ONCE hidden but NOW is KNOWN IS the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit and POWER dwelling IN us as believers in Jesus as the CHRIST, the ANOINTED of God) the hope of glory:”
Colossians 2:2.
“That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;”
Again, the Bible always teaches us to believe in TWO separate persons who are UNITED in AGREEMENT as ONE. Jesus said that the ONLY TRUE God is the FATHER and Almighty God the Father said that we MUST HONOR the SON even as we honor Him. And the Apostle John says that if we do not have the SON then we do not have the Father EITHER. So the MYSTERY is EXPLAIN as being the ONLY WAY TO the Father is by way of BELIEVING that God has a SON. The word translated as “Christ” means Messiah and ANOINTED. So then, the mystery of God is God’s PLAN of salvation that was kept a MYSTERY or a SECRET until it was time to REVEAL His Messiah, the ANOINTED Son of MAN, Jesus. Colossians 4:3.
“Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:”
To SPEAK the mystery of the ANOINTING means to EXPLAIN that Jesus is the one PROPHESIED to come that Yahweh the Father would ANOINT or COMMISSION with power and authority to do Yahweh’s WILL.
2 Thessalonians 2:7.
“For the mystery of iniquity does already work: (Paul is EXPLAINING to us that the mystery behind SIN is Satan. And when Satan is taken out of the way by being cast down from the AIR as the principalities and the powers of the AIR, then the antichrist will be revealed or manifested to fulfill the Scriptures) only he who now letteth will let until he is taken out of the way.”
1 Timothy 3:9.
“Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.”
Again, on the surface, this verse could be twisted to mean that our FAITH is a MYSTERY. But that is NOT what this verse is truly saying in the LIGHT of the whole word of Almighty God. This verse is saying that a bishop or a leader and teaching of the FAITH must always hold firm to the TRUE mystery of the faith that was REVEALED to us by the Apostles of Jesus Christ in a PURE CONSCIENCE. This verse does NOT mean that we should teach that our FAITH is a MYSTERY past finding out and no man can UNDERSTAND the so-called “MYSTERY” of God becoming a man but yet remaining Almighty God at the SAME time having TWO natures, one divine, and one human DURING the days of his FLESH. The SIMPLE TRUTH is that Yahweh the Father REMAINED Almighty God the Father and He CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus. And then, at the baptism of the Son of MAN, Jesus, Yahweh MADE Jesus the CHRIST, according to Acts 2:26 by ANOINTING him with the Holy Spirit and POWER to do his God and Father’s WILL. And then AFTER the ANOINTED Son of MAN, Jesus overcame God’s enemy Satan was WHEN Jesus came to exist in the FORM of God. You see it was AFTER the CROSS or after the ANOINTED Son of MAN, Jesus, offered himself up TO his God and Father THROUGH the POWER of the Eternal Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him that Yahweh the Father HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN to BECOME A God to sit on his God and Father’s throne. It was AFTER the CROSS that Jesus came to exist in the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY to be in the FORM of God. That is the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of Philippians 3:6-8 when it is kept in its CONTEXT. Please read the study “PHILIPPIANS 2:6-8 PROVES JESUS PRE-EXISTED!” But for now, let us continue reading the verses of Scripture that clearly teach the TRUE meaning of the word “MYSTERY” as being that we are to UNDERSTAND what was ONCE kept a SECRET hidden in the Scriptures and NOT the perverted Oneness and Trinitarian meaning of never being able to UNDERSTAND the mystery.
1 Timothy 3:16.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of GODLINESS: [A] God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
This is the famous Oneness and Trinitarian verse that is used to TRY and prove that Almighty God Himself became FLESH and that it is a MYSTERY past finding out that can never be understood. But, in TRUTH, the mystery being spoken of in this verse is GODLINESS and how Yahweh by using a MAN was able to GIVE all who BELIEVE His GIFT of salvation and RIGHTEOUSNESS to us who BELIEVE in His SON. Yahweh the Father also gave us His Holy Spirit and grace to TEACH us how to walk in the same steps of Jesus who did NO SIN. This verse is about Yahweh manifesting “A” God to replace Lucifer. Why would the one true and only Almighty God need to be JUSTIFIED in the Spirit? And WHO would RECEIVE the one true and only Almighty God up into glory? And do NOT try and argue that it is a MYSTERY because that is NOT what the Bible itself means by the word “MYSTERY”. Every verse in the Bible with the word “mystery” means that what was ONCE kept secret and hidden in the Scriptures is NOW made known with FULL ASSURANCE and COMPLETE understanding in SIMPLICITY. God is NOT the author of CONFUSION! Let us continue reading the REVEALED mysteries.
Revelation 1:20.
“The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.”
Revelation 10:7.
“But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”
The Apostle Paul declared or EXPLAINED to us the mystery of the LAST TRUMPET being finished or accomplish as being OUR partaking of the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY to be like Jesus WHEN we see Jesus at the second coming. Please read the study “WHEN IS THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH?”
Revelation 17:5,7.
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH… ...7. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
So then, in every verse of Scripture, every mystery was REVEALED and made KNOWN to us to be completely UNDERSTOOD. So the sound Biblical meaning of the word mystery is NOT that it is something that is PAST finding out or so complicated that it can not be grasped and understood with the human mind. So do not allow the Oneness Christians and the Trinitarian Christians to explain away all their CONTRADICTIONS to the word of Almighty God by their CLAIMING what they teach is a so-called MYSTERY. For you see, it is GIVEN for us to KNOW even the DEEP things of God. Here is the CONTEXT of 1 Corinthians 2:7 that only SEEMS to be saying IN a MYSTERY. For you see, the Greek word translated as “IN” also means “OF” and “ABOUT” a mystery. But even if you did not know this, you can still see from the CONTEXT that Paul is NOT intending his words to mean that he is teaching us something past finding out and that no man can ever UNDERSTAND. But yet, this is how the Oneness and the Trinitarian Christians WRONGLY use the word “MYSTERY”. They argue that you just have to accept and believe what THEY teach because it is a “MYSTERY” that the human mind can NOT comprehend.
Please read 1 Corinthians 2:7-16.
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, (Or more precisely, we speak the WISDOM of God OF or concerning a mystery, as in, concern what was once a SECRET) even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8. Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known IT, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (You see, God HID the WISDOM of His LAMB being SLAIN from Satan because had Satan KNOWN God’s SECRET PLAN of Salvation he would have never crucified the Lord of glory. Please keep in mind that Jesus was MADE the Lord of glory AFTER the CROSS, according to Acts 2:26 and 1 Corinthians 15:42-49. Jesus bore the earthly body BEFORE Yahweh GAVE him his heaven body to BECOME the Lord from heaven. The Greek word translated as “form” means the origin of the cause of Jesus being MADE Lord is from heaven above. Jesus did not make himself to be Lord, but rather, it was his God and Father from heaven who made the Son of MAN, Jesus, Lord after the cross) 9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. (Paul is quoting a verse of Scripture from the Old Testament which was HIDDEN at that time) 10. BUT God has REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: (Or God has REVEALED the once hidden secrets or mysteries unto us, as Christians, BY the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, who is leading a guiding us into all TRUTH) for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the DEEP things of God. 11. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13. Which things ALSO we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, (Or NOT in the words of the man-made TRADITIONS that man teaches seeming to be wise in their OWN understanding) but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (Or comparing Scripture with Scripture to have NO contradictions) 14. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (And it is foolishness TO Oneness and Trinitarian Christians for them to receive the TRUTH that Jesus is “A” God who is under and subject TO his God and Father. Yes, they “read” the words in the Bible that CLEARLY teach us in SIMPLICITY that Yahweh the Father is the Almighty God OVER His Son Jesus but they do not RECEIVE those words of God as being ACCEPTABLE to their “DOCTRINES”. They claim that it is impossible for Jesus to be ANOTHER God because that would make TWO Gods. So to THEM, Jesus MUST be the one true and ONLY Almighty God Himself. Some of them refuse to RECEIVE the truth of Jesus being MADE Lord even though they “read” in Acts 2:26 that Jesus was MADE both Lord and Christ. They are thinking as NATURAL men who do not RECEIVE the things of the Spirit of God) 15. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
With that being said about the so-called “MYSTERY” of never being able to understand WHO Jesus TRULY is in relation to WHO Almighty God the Father is, let us now look at some of those verses that teach us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God the Father as opposed to Jesus being Almighty God Himself.
Please read John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him (God’s SON) should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
So then, whosoever in the entire world who BELIEVES that Jesus is the SON OF God should not perish, but have everlasting or eternal life.
Now read John 20:30,31.
“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: (And Jesus said that the Son could do NOTHING OF himself and that it was the Father DWELLING IN him who was the one doing the WORKS that men saw Jesus doing. And some of those men said surely no MAN could do these things EXCEPT God is WITH him) 31. But these are written, that you might BELIEVE that Jesus is the CHRIST, the SON OF God; and that believing you might have LIFE through his name.”
Here in these two verses, we now see that we must believe TWO things about Jesus. We must believe not only that Jesus is the SON OF God but we also must believe that Jesus is the CHRIST, the Messiah, the ANOINTED of God, the one prophesied in the Old Testament as being the Savior who was to come. And by believing that Jesus is the CHRIST, the SON OF God we might have eternal life in the world to come. Have you ever wondered why some translations like the King James translation say “MIGHT” have eternal life? Most Christians believe that we MUST ENDURE unto the END in order to receive eternal life in the world to come but there are SOME Christians who believe that the very moment a person believes and says the sinner’s prayer, then they are eternally saved and they can never lose their salvation no matter what. Please read the study “IS ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED BIBLICAL?”. But for now, please know and understand that some Christians WRONGLY teach that ONLY Jesus can live without sin because Jesus was Almighty God Himself. But yet the Bible ITSELF teaches us that we are called to follow the steps of Jesus who did NO SIN. So how can WE, being fully HUMAN, follow Jesus who was SUPPOSEDLY fully Almighty God DURING the days of his FLESH as HOW Jesus overcame SIN? THINK things through for yourself dear children of God. The Bible itself teaches us that God can NOT be TEMPTED and yet Jesus was TEMPTED in all points like we are tempted. And when you make this FACT known to Oneness and Trinitarian Christians they are “programmed” to give that answer that Jesus had TWO NATURES and it was his HUMAN nature that was tempted. And when you point out the FACT that Almighty God can NOT DIE they will use the same argument that it was the HUMAN nature of Jesus that DIED on the cross. So then you say, but I thought that you said that IF God HIMSELF did not DIE on the cross for our sins then we are dead in our sins because ONLY God Himself can die for our sin? And now you say that it was only the HUMAN nature of Jesus that died on the cross. So to ME, you, as in those of you who believe either the Oneness doctrine or the doctrine of the Trinity, still do not have Almighty God Himself dying on the cross for your sins. You have the Son of MAN, Jesus dying on the cross which is EXACTLY what the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY.
Please read John 8:28.
“Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of MAN, THEN shall you know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.”
But yet both Oneness and Trinitarian Christians use John 8:58 to TRY and prove that Jesus saying the words “I AM” means that Jesus is saying that he IS the great I AM THAT I AM” of the Old Testament. They refuse to believe the CONTEXT because that would PROVE they are teaching incorrect false doctrine. Jesus is SIMPLY saying that he is the Christ, the one PROPHESIED to come. Please read the study “WHAT DOES JOHN 8:58 TRULY MEAN?” But for now, let us continue with this study on the HUMAN Jesus and why I believe that Jesus is the SON OF God and NOT Almighty God Himself.
Please read 1 John 5:1-5.
“Whosoever believes that Jesus is the CHRIST is born of God: and everyone that loves HIM (Almighty God Yahweh the Father) that begat loves HIM (Jesus the SON OF God) ALSO that is begotten OF HIM (Again speaking of the one true God who begat his SON Jesus. Jesus is our BROTHER but we also have many brothers and sisters begotten by God IN His Son Jesus) 2. By this, we know that we love the children of God, when we love God AND keep his commandments. (Speaking of the commandments under the new Covenant written in the New Testament) 3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. (Again, the commandments being referred to here are the teachings written in the NEW Testament under the NEW COVENANT and NOT the commandments written in the OLD Testament under the OLD covenant) 4. For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: (Meaning that if you are truly born again, then you will fight the good fight of FAITH to overcome sin. And if you fall you will get back up by confessing your sin and keep enduring unto the END of your life or until Jesus returns whichever comes first) and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our FAITH. 5. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the SON OF God?”
You cannot overcome sin without FIRST believing that Jesus is the CHRIST, the SON OF God because it is by your FAITH in Jesus being the Messiah who suffered, shed his blood, and died on the cross for ALL of your past sins that cleansed you from all your unrighteousness to place you in a RIGHT relationship with Almighty God the Father. God did this FOR you so that He could give you an EARNEST of His Holy Spirit to DWELL IN you to EMPOWER you to overcome sin. The very moment you are BORN OF God to become a NEW creature by your FAITH IN Jesus as the CHRIST, the SON OF the living God, the eternal Holy Spirit comes and DWELLS IN you to empower you to overcome sin and to lead and guide you into all truth. Now some Christians are FILLED to overflowing the very moment they are saved and they speak in other tongues, but this is not the case with every person who is saved. Some Christians experience the FULLNESS of God’s Spirit to overflowing joy to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives them the utterance weeks, months, and even years after they have been born again. And some Christians have never experienced being filled to the fulness of joy unspeakable and full of glory with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Nowhere in the Bible itself are we taught that a person must without fail speak in other tongues in order to be saved, but I do believe that all Christians should seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit as well and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Please read the study “HOW CAN I BE SAVED?”.
But for now, please read 1 John 5:10-13.
“He that believes on the SON OF God has the WITNESS IN himself: (That WITNESS IS the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN you who gives you the assurance that God has forgiven you of all your past sins where you know that you know that you know you are saved) he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his SON. (So Almighty God Yahweh has made both the Jews and the Muslims LIARS because they do NOT believe the record of the NEW Testament the Jesus is the SON OF the living God who suffered and died for THEIR sins. They THINK that they have eternal life, but they have not discerned the TRUTH that the Scriptures in the Old Testament speak or testify of Jesus as being the Messiah, the one PROPHESIED to come to be the Savior of the world. 11. And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is IN his SON. 12. He that has the SON has LIFE, and he that has NOT the SON OF God has NOT life. 13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the SON OF God; that you may know that you have eternal life, AND that you may believe on the name of the SON OF God.”
Please notice that in verse 13 John is speaking to true born-again Christians who ALREADY have believed on the NAME of Jesus. Notice that this was their INITIAL faith that he is the SON OF God so that or in order that they can know and be assured that the promise of eternal life is abiding IN them so that or in order that they will CONTINUE to believe unto the end to OBTAIN eternal life in the world to come. The ASSURANCE or the KNOWING is speaking of the internal witness of the ETERNAL Holy Spirit dwelling in us. For you see, the knowledge that it was the Holy Spirit dwelling IN Jesus as being the one who quickened Jesus gives us the assurance that the Holy Spirit dwelling in us will also quicken us at the second coming of Jesus. And all of our knowing by FAITH gives us the assurance so that we will CONTINUE unto the END to keep on BELIEVING on the SON OF God in the present tense unto death or until Jesus returns.
Now let us read John 3:31-36.
“He that comes from above is above all: (Now some Christians INTERPRET this first “HE” as being the Son of God who came down from heaven but ask yourself the simple question, Is Jesus ABOVE Almighty God the Father or is Almighty God the Father ABOVE and GREATER than his SON Jesus? So then, since Jesus the Son is NOT above his God and Father, then the first “HE” that comes from above is the eternal Spirit who came down from heaven to ANOINT the Son with power from on high at the baptism of Jesus) he that is of the earth is earthly, (This second “he” is speaking of the Son of MAN Jesus who was born of a human woman) and speaks of the earth: he that comes from heaven is above all. (This last phrase should read something like, “and he speaks in the earth that which comes from heaven which is above all.” In other words, the Son of MAN Jesus did NOT speak his OWN words, but rather Jesus spoke in the earth the words of Almighty God the eternal Spirit who came down from heaven and DWELT IN the Son of MAN.) 32. And what he (The SON of MAN) has seen, (Perceived or discerned clearly from the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him) and heard, that he testifies (Or the Son of MAN declares and teaches) and no man receives his testimony. (The words of Almighty God Himself that Yahweh put in the mouth of the Son of MAN to speak) 33. He that has received his testimony (Speaking of those of us who BELIEVE in the teachings of Jesus the Son of MAN and that he is the one prophesied to come in the Old Testament) has set to his seal that God is true. (Or we who believe in Jesus as the Christ, the SON OF the living God have this SEAL, this MARK, the WITNESS within us that God’s word is TRUE. Once a person truly believes the teachings of Jesus and that he IS the Christ, the SON OF the living God, then no one can ever convince them that there is no God or that the Bible has been corrupted and cannot be trusted. In other words, every believer can BECOME fully persuaded that he or she will never turn away from their faith in Jesus as being the CHRIST, the SON OF the living God) 34. FOR (Or BECAUSE) he whom God has sent (Or whom Yahweh the ONE Almighty God has COMMISSIONED. The word commission means the act of giving authority and power to carry out a task. Nowhere in prophecy does the Bible ITSELF teach us that God would send down his eternal preexisting Son who would then become flesh but yet remain the fully divine eternal God and thus have TWO natures, one divine, and one human at the SAME time. NO! The word of truth literally reads that the one true God Yahweh COMMISSIONED the Son of MAN giving him the AUTHORITY to speak FOR Yahweh. So then, the authorized Son of MAN) speaks the words OF God: FOR (Or BECAUSE) God GIVES not the Spirit by measure unto him. (This means that at the baptism of Jesus when the Holy Spirit descended from heaven to REMAIN on Jesus that God ANOINTED the Son of MAN with the Holy Spirit to DWELL IN the Son of MAN to empower the Son of MAN to do what no man could possibly do EXCEPT that God be WITH him) 35. The Father loves the SON and has GIVEN all things into his hand. 36. He that believes on the SON has everlasting life: and he that believes NOT the SON shall NOT see life; but the WRATH of God abides on him.”
Now I do not know about you, but I myself will continue to believe and teach that Jesus is the SON OF God. But what does that MEAN? Does being the SON OF God mean without fail that we MUST believe that Jesus had TWO natures, one divine, and one human, during the days of his FLESH at the SAME time in order to be saved and receive eternal life in the world to come? If so, then where in the Bible ITSELF, does it state as FACT with no interpretation needed that we MUST believe that Jesus had TWO natures, one divine, and one human, at the SAME time DURING the days of his FLESH? Search the word of truth for yourself and you will not find a single verse that specifically states that Jesus had TWO natures of his own during the days of his flesh. You will find verses like Colossians 2:9 where the fulness of the Godhead DWELT IN Jesus, but you will also find verses where God DWELLS in us who believe in Jesus as the Son of God. And that does not make us be the fully divine eternal one true God and fully human at the same time having TWO natures, one divine, and one human at the same time. Having the Holy Spirit DWELL IN us does NOT make us be DEITY. But rather, it is the DIVINE who DWELLS IN us to empower us to overcome sin and to do the SAME mighty works of healing and raising the dead that men saw the Son of MAN Jesus doing THROUGH the SAME eternal Spirit who DWELT IN him, the same ANOINTING that now dwells in us. Now some may argue that God gave his Spirit WITHOUT measure to his Son Jesus, but if you look at John 3:34 closer you will find that the words “unto him” are not in the original text. It simply says that God did not give His Spirit by measure or by degree. In other words, God did not give more of his Spirit to you than he gave to me and every other believer. I am not going to argue this point, but rather, I am just pointing out what the original text actually says. But I will say that one of the main reasons I teach and stress the HUMAN Jesus is so that Christians will know and understand that the works Jesus did were NOT done by HIM, but rather, the works were done by Almighty God the Father who DWELT IN the Son of MAN. And Jesus said the SAME works he did YOU shall do ALSO. The very God who dwelt in Jesus NOW dwells IN YOU and IN ME and IN EVERY believer in Jesus as the Christ, the ANOINTED OF God. So then, did the Son of GOD die on the cross, or did the ANOINTED Son of MAN die on the cross. Let us back up a few verses here in John chapter 3 and read John 3:14-19.
John 3:14-19.
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of MAN be lifted up: (So then, it was the Son of MAN who was lifted up on the cross to be crucified and die for the sins of the world. I mean simply read what Jesus himself says. Jesus did not say that the Son of God MUST be crucified. Nor did Jesus say that the Son of MAN must be crucified and die on the cross while the divine Son of God remains alive because the eternal Son of God cannot die. NO! The words of Jesus state as a FACT that the Son of MAN must be lifted up) 15. That (Or so that) whosoever believes IN HIM (The Son of MAN who suffered and died on the cross for your sins) should not perish, but have eternal life. 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him (In the SON OF God whom Almighty God begat both at the Virgin birth as the Son of MAN and whom He ALSO begat again at the resurrection where the Son of MAN was GIVEN to be having the divine nature of immortality to BECOME God’s ETERNAL SON) should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Remember the context where Jesus teaches us that man MUST be born AGAIN in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Also, remember the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6,7 that a CHILD would be born first and THEN a SON would be given. It does NOT say that a God the Son will incarnate himself to be born. It does not say that a pre-existing Son of God will be given. But rather, it says that a CHILD would be BORN and a SON is given. And clearly, it was the Son of MAN who suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the world so that whosoever of any human being who BELIEVES that Jesus is the CHRIST shall be saved. The word Christ means the ANOINTED Son of MAN who was prophesied to come to suffer at the hands of men and be crucified for the sins of the people. Can you not see that it was the God OF the HUMAN Son of God that God raised from the dead and HIGHLY EXALTED giving him a NAME above every name so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess he is Lord TO the GLORY of Almighty God the Father?) 17. For God sent (Or COMMISSIONED and dispatched) not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18. He that believes on him (God’s SON who was the first HUMAN but then because of his OBEDIENCE to do all his God and father’s will Yahweh highly exalted the Son of MAN and gave him to be having LIFE in himself even as the Father has always possessed immortality in himself. Please see John 5:26,27) is not condemned: but he that believes NOT is condemned already, because he has NOT believed in the NAME of the only begotten SON OF God. 19. And this is the condemnation, that LIGHT has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.”
Please notice what verse 19 says came into the world? This verse says that LIGHT came into the world. Now let us go to John 1:1-5 and read the LITERAL translation.
Here is the LITERAL translation of John 1:1-5.
“In beginning was the SAYING, and the SAYING was TOWARD THE God, and God was the SAYING. 2. THIS (Or the SAME or the SAYING) was TOWARD THE God. 3. All through SAME (Or all through the SAYING) became and apart from SAME (Or without the SAYING of God) became not yet one which has become. 4. IN SAME (Or in the SAYING or in the SPOKEN word of God) LIFE was and the LIFE was the LIGHT of the humans. 5. And the LIGHT in the darkness is appearing. And the darkness it not grasped.”
In other words, it was the TEACHING of God’s word of truth that came down from heaven, which was taught to the Son of MAN by the eternal Holy Spirit, making the Son of MAN a LIGHT unto the world. And now we are the LIGHT of the world bringing the same TEACHING that Jesus taught to us through the written word and through the Holy Spirit now dwelling in us. Now when Christians search out for themselves the HISTORY of HOW the dual nature doctrine was formed over many centuries, then they will see that this man-made PHILOSOPHY is NOT taught in the Scriptures. I mean God could have just as easily PROPHESIED in Isaiah 9:6 that an ETERNAL DIVINE child would be conceived in the womb of a Virgin by Yahweh himself to be born as a divine man having two natures, one divine and one human at the same time, and then Yahweh’s eternal divine Son suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the people, but do not be confused by this because only the HUMAN PART will die. But this is NOT what is PROPHESIED in Scripture. I mean why even bother saying the DAYS of his FLESH in Hebrews if so be there never was a single day that Jesus was TRULY a HUMAN being void of ANY divine nature to give him an ADVANTAGE over every other human being?
Please read Hebrews 5:1-12.
“For EVERY high priest taken from among MEN is ordained FOR men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: 2. Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself ALSO is compassed with infirmity. 3. And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. 4. And no MAN takes this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. 5. So ALSO Christ (Or so ALSO the ANOINTED Son of MAN) GLORIFIED NOT HIMSELF to be MADE a high priest; but HE (Almighty God Yahweh the Father) that said unto him, You are my Son, TODAY have I begotten you. (So on the very day that the Son of MAN was GLORIFIED and highly exalted was the very self-same DAY that the Son of MAN was begotten of Yahweh from the DEAD to BECOME God’s ETERNAL SON) 6. As he said also in another place, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchisedec. (Speaking of another prophecy of Jesus) 7. Who in the DAYS of his FLESH, (Speaking of from the time that the word or SAYING of God was FULFILLED to made FLESH to the time the HUMAN Jesus, the ANOINTED Son of MAN was crucified on the cross) when he (The Son of MAN who SUFFERED TEMPTATION and who was in ALL POINTS tempted like we are tempted) had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto HIM (Speaking of Yahweh his God and Father) that was able to save him from death and was heard in that he (The Son of MAN) feared; 8. Though he were a Son, (Miraculously conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the SPOKEN word of SAYING of Almighty God to become the uniquely begotten SON) yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9. And being MADE PERFECT, (Speaking of being GIVEN the divine nature of IMMORTALITY to be having in himself even as the Father has always had immortality in himself) he BECAME the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; (Or the Son of MAN after the cross was highly exalted to BECOME the father of everlasting life of all who BELIEVE on him. Jesus was GIVEN the authority to now give eternal life to whomsoever he will just like it was PROPHESIED that he would be CALLED by the name Father of everlasting in Isaiah 9:6,7) 10. Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchisedec. 11. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing. (Not all of my readers but I do get some who write to me, who have been so dogmatically taught by their church denomination, that they have stopped their ears from hearing the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God) 12. For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have a need that one teach you AGAIN which be the first principles of the oracles of God and are become such as have the need of milk, and not of strong meat.”
Now let us go back to John chapter 1 to see what the SAYING was in verse 1 and then see what the SAYING became in verse 14.
Again, we will read John 1:1,14 from the LITERAL translation.
“In beginning was the SAYING and the SAYING was TOWARD the God, and GOD was the SAYING… ...14. And the SAYING FLESH BECAME and dwelt among us…”
Now, this AGREES with the prophecy written in the Old Testament that a CHILD would be born of a Virgin first and then a SON would be given. Not a God-man child having TWO natures, one divine, and one human, at the SAME time, but rather a MAN child just like Revelation 12:5 teaches us.
Revelation 12:5.
“And she brought forth a MAN child, (Or a MALE child the SON of a HUMAN woman) who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”
But the SAYING in John 1:1 was NOT “FLESH” was the SAYING, but rather “GOD” was the SAYING. Remember in Genesis 1:3 the SAYING was “LIGHT”. In other words, God SAID “LIGHT” be, and LIGHT came into being. We are not told how long this took, but when God’s word came to pass I am sure light came into being in a moment of time. I also see Genesis 1:3 as a HIDDEN prophecy of Yahweh becoming the LIGHT that came into the world when the Holy Spirit descended from heaven to DWELL IN the Son of MAN to put his words into the mouth of Jesus, his prophet, his ANOINTED servant, the Son of MAN and COMMISSIONED the Son of MAN to go out into the world and PREACH deliverance to the captives of sin.
Let us read Genesis 1:3 from a LITERAL translation.
“And he is SAYING Elohim HE SHALL BECOME LIGHT and HE is BECOMING light.”
In other words, Yahweh the creator is SAYING that HE SHALL BECOME LIGHT and HE IS BECOMING LIGHT. Now I personally believe that God creates all things OUT FROM HIMSELF as opposed to the teaching of the mainstream churches that God created all things out or NOTHING. Please read the study “DID GOD CREATE ALL THINGS OUT OF NOTHING?”. I believe that God literally becomes everything He creates out from Himself but that does NOT mean that every created thing IS God. We know that the SAYING became flesh and dwelt among men as the Son of MAN who was given the name Jesus. We also know that the angel Gabriel delivered the prophecy to Mary concerning the yet coming to be a child in the womb of the Virgin Mary that the child SHALL BECOME great and that he SHALL BE CALLED the Son of the HIGHEST and the Son of God.
Please read Luke 1:30-35.
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God. (Jesus did not pick who his parents would be, but rather it was God who chose the woman Mary to compass his spoken word) 31. And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS. 32. He SHALL BE GREAT, and SHALL BE CALLED the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God SHALL GIVE unto him the throne of his father David: 33. And he SHALL REIGN over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom, there shall be no end. 34. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you SHALL BE CALLED the Son of God.”
Jesus knew that the Scriptures spoke of him. Jesus knew that he was the one PROPHESIED in the Scriptures. And I am quite sure that the Holy Spirit taught the Son of MAN Jesus all the HIDDEN prophecies concerning him. So I am quite sure that the Holy Spirit led the Son of MAN to read Jeremiah 31:22,23 to reveal to Jesus the Son of MAN that HE was this MAN prophesied to come into being.
Jeremiah 31:22,23.
“How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD (Yahweh) has CREATED a NEW THING in the earth, A woman shall compass a MAN. 23. Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech (In other words, in the world yet to come the children of Israel shall CALL the Son of MAN Jesus the God of Israel) in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof WHEN I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and the mountain of holiness.”
Now it is NOT a NEW thing for a woman to compass a man in her womb. But it was a NEW THING for Yahweh to CREATE a man child in the womb of a woman. Here is a quote from another website as to how the Jews interpret Jeremiah 31:22.
A woman: נקבה תסובב גבר [Strong's #5347], literally "A female ('one who is only a woman, not a wife, namely a virgin,' says Cocceius) shall encompass a man," or a male child. Compare Job 3:3. Which, together with the addition of a new creation, may well be understood to denote the miraculous conception. Hence the Jews have applied it determinately to the Messiah. In Berashith Rabba (Parash 89) it is said, that as God punished Israel in a virgin, so would he also heal; and in Midrash Tillim, on Psalm 2:1-12, R. Huna, in the name of R. Idi, speaking of the sufferings of the Messiah, says, that when his hour has come, God shall say, "I must create him with a NEW creation; and so he saith, This day I have begotten thee." Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:21; Luke 1:34-35; Galatians 4:4.
So then, Yahweh FIRST CREATED the Son of MAN in the womb of the Virgin Mary by his SPOKEN word of SAYING. In other words, the SAYING first BECAME FLESH and dwelt among men. And then the CHILD grew in stature and in favor with God. The prophecies in Isaiah teach us that God opened his ear to hear and morning by morning God taught him. Then when the child grew to become a man around the age of 30 God CALLED the Son of MAN to speak his words. Yahweh then ANOINTED the Son of MAN with power from on high and from that time after the baptism of Jesus the Son of MAN began to be CALLED the Son of God and also called the CHRIST, the ANOINTED, the Messiah, the one prophesied to come. But the Son of MAN did not actually become God’s ETERNAL Son until AFTER the cross when his God and Father Yahweh HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN to BECOME God of the whole Earth in the world to come. Hebrews 12:2 teaches us that Jesus knew of this JOY that was set before him as promises in the Scriptures and that is how the Son of MAN endured the cross.
Hebrews 12:2.
“ Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who FOR (Or BECAUSE OF) the JOY that was SET before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Jesus knew that his God had already prepared him a BODY, a NEW IMMORTAL GLORIFIED BODY and that he would be granted to sit at the right-hand side of his God and Father to rule FOR the Father in the world to come. This is why Jesus said in John 17:5 to his God and Father to NOW GLORIFY him with the glory of being beside the Father which was prophesied in the Scriptures to be given to him before the world yet to be. Jesus knew that the Scriptures spoke of him JOINING his God and Father to sit on His throne in the world to come BEFORE the world yet to be, comes into existence. And even after Jesus was glorified and highly exalted after the cross he still taught the people that they would see the Son of MAN coming in great clouds of glory at his second coming.
Please read Matthew 26:63,64.
“But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you be the Christ, the Son of God. 64. Jesus said unto him, YOU have said: NEVERTHELESS, I say unto you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of MAN sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”
Jesus never even one time called himself God. But yet the mainstream orthodox churches dogmatically demand that if a person does NOT believe that Jesus is Yahweh himself, the great I AM that I AM then they will remain dead in their sins and the quote John 8:24 as their proof text. John 8:24.
“I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe NOT that I am he, you shall die in your sins.”
They quote this verse OUT of its CONTEXT and then emphasize Jesus saying the words “I am” and then they INTERPRET Jesus saying “I am” to mean that Jesus is declaring that he is the great I AM that I AM of the Old Testament. Here is John 8:24 from the Common English Bible where the word “he” is not added by the translator and the phrase “I Am” is capitalized.
Here is John 8:24 from the Common English Bible.
“This is why I told you that you would die in your sins. If you don't believe that I Am, you will die in your sins.”
Now IF Jesus would have said something like, If you do not believe that I am the I AM, then they might have a case to argue that Jesus was declaring that he is Yahweh himself the one true and only Almighty God and creator of all things. But that is NOT what Jesus said. Let us now read John 8:24 being kept in its CONTEXT.
Please read John 8:16-25.
“And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am NOT ALONE, but I and the Father that sent (Or the one SENDING) ME. 17. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of TWO men is true. 18. I am one that bears witness of myself, AND the Father that sent me bears witness of me. (Or I am ONE witness and my Father is the ANOTHER witness so that makes TWO witnesses) 19. Then said they unto him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, You neither know ME NOR my Father: if you had known ME, you should have known my Father ALSO. 20. These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. 21. Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, you cannot come. 22. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he said, Whither I go, you cannot come. 23. And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world. 24. I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins. 25. Then said they unto him, Who are you? And Jesus said unto them, Even the SAME that I said unto you from the beginning.”
Now let us go back to the beginning of the ministry of Jesus right after he was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and power.
Please read Luke 4:14-21.
“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has ANOINTED ME to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21. And he BEGAN to say unto them, This day is this Scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
So then, the true sound Biblical meaning of John 8:24 is that Jesus is saying that if we do not believe that he is the CHRIST, the ANOINTED of God who was PROPHESIED to come, then we shall remain dead in our sins. In other words, Jesus is saying the following.
“I am he, the one prophesied to come.” “I am he, the Messiah, the one prophesied to come.” “I am he, the ANOINTED one, the one prophesied to come.” “I am he, the Son OF God, the one prophesied to come.” “I am he, the FULFILMENT of the Scriptures, the one prophesied to come.”
A Christian can have a preconceived idea and then take verses of Scripture out of their context to make them seem like they are saying something that they are NOT TRULY saying. And this is why I teach my readers the WHOLE word of Almighty God. I teach what I teach so that all Christians will know that the SAME ANOINTING who DWELT IN Jesus the Son of MAN now DWELLS IN us, as Christians, to empower us to live without sin and walk as Jesus walked healing the sick, opening the eyes of the blind, and even raising the dead through the eternal Spirit in the mighty NAME of Jesus if so be that the Holy Spirit leads you to do so. Again, HOW can WE be expected to walk in the light as Jesus walked in the light IF SO BE that Jesus had an ADVANTAGE over us being a so-called God-man having TWO natures, one divine, and one human, at the SAME time during the days of his FLESH? Think about following the steps of Jesus who did NO SIN. Which Jesus would be EASIER to follow in his steps to not sin? #1. Would it be easier to follow the Oneness and Trinitarian Jesus who is FULLY Almighty God Himself while YOU yourself are only HUMAN?
#2. Or would it be easier to follow the fully HUMAN Jesus who was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and POWER who overcame sin THROUGH the POWER of the eternal Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him, the SAME Holy Spirit and POWER who now dwells in YOU to empower YOU to overcome sin?
So do NOT believe those Christians that pull you down saying you are nothing but a filthy sinner and ONLY Jesus can live without sin. That is the biggest lie Satan has ever sold to the church. Please read the study “HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!”. I assure you that every verse that SEEMS to be saying that Jesus pre-existed in eternity past has another meaning that does NOT contradict any other verses of Scripture in the entire Bible.
