SPELLING EDITED Ff-11. MEANING OF FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH! In other words, what is the TRUE SOUND Biblical meaning of the four corners of the earth? ALL “flat earth” Christians use the Bible to try and prove that the earth is flat. And almost all “flat earth” Christians use the verses of Scripture that say that the earth has FOUR CORNERS. And all “flat earth” Christians INTERPRET the four corners of the earth verses LITERALLY as being four LITERAL CORNERS of the earth. Then “flat earthers” argue that everyone knows that a sphere does NOT have any CORNERS. So, therefore, to them, the earth MUST be FLAT. But a flat CIRCLE does NOT have four corners either. So “flat earth” Christians came up with their model of a flat circular map of the earth by using what is called an Azimuthal Equidistant map of the earth with its CENTER at the north pole. Then they took this already existing Azimuthal Equidistant map of the earth with its CENTER at the north pole and placed it upon a SQUARE drawing of FLAT WATER because Job 26:10 says that God COMPASSED the WATERS. Then they placed a DOME over the circular flat Azimuthal Equidistant map of the earth with its CENTER at the north pole in order for their FLAT earth model to now have FOUR LITERAL CORNERS of the earth. Then they argue that ONLY their flat earth model AGREES with what the Bible teaches about the earth having FOUR CORNERS which are on the OUTSIDE of the dome of the earth in their flat earth model. Just look at their “flat earth” model. Then the “flat earth” Christians use verses like Revelation 7:1, Revelation 20:8, and Isaiah 11:12 to try and prove that BIBLE teaches that the earth is flat because ONLY the flat earth can have FOUR CORNERS. Let us start with Isaiah 11:12 to see if the Bible ITSELF teaches us that the earth is flat by simply use the “flat earthers” LITERAL INTERPRETATION of the four corners of the earth being on the OUTSIDE of their hard solid impenetrable dome over their flat earth. As you will see, Scripture will always INTERPRET itself CORRECTLY when we ALLOW the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth. Here is Isaian 11:12. “And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall ASSEMBLE the OUTCAST of Israel, and GATHER TOGETHER the DISPERSED of Judah FROM the four corners of the earth.” From WHERE are the outcast of Israel and the dispersed of Judah gathered? According to the Bible itself, they are gathered together from the four corners of the earth which simply means from all over the surface of the earth in all four cardinal directions of north south east and west of the earth. BUT, according to the LITERAL INTERPRETATION of the Scriptures made by the “flat earthers”, the outcast of Israel and the dispersed of Judah gathered from the LITERAL four corners of the earth that are on the OUTSIDE of the hard solid IMPENETRABLE DOME of the earth where there is ONLY WATER. Need I say more to all my brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ who believe that the earth is flat that are TRULY seeking the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God? In other words, do you believe God’s word OVER what your physical senses tell you? To say this another way, do you believe that since the horizon of the earth LOOKS flat then no matter what the Bible itself truly teaches you will refuse to believe the Bible just because your eyes tell your brain that the earth LOOKS flat to you? The mere fact that “flat earthers” interpret ALL the verses of Scripture they use to try and prove the earth is flat should raise a “RED FLAG” to all Christians. The four corners of the earth are what is called FIRGURATIVE language which simply means the four cardinal directions of north, south, east, and west to speak of the WHOLE earth from one end of the earth to the others in all four cardinal directions and everything in-between as marked on a COMPASS. Let us now look at the CONTEXT of Revelation 20:8 by itself first and then we will put verse 8 BACK into its context. Here is the “FLAT EARTHER” translation of Revelation 20:9.
“And they went up on the FLAT EARTH, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”
Now let us examine the ERROR of this “flat earther” interpretation. First of all, the context says that they WENT UP ON the earth whether it was a WIDE part of the LAND or they WENT UP ON the WHOLE breadth of the earth. No matter which interpretation, we simply can NOT ignore the other words in this verse. So then, what does the Greek word mean that is translated as they “WENT UP ON”? I mean all the inhabitants of the earth are ALREADY ON the earth. Now IF this verse said they went UPON the earth, then one could be justified to have his or her own opinion as to what meaning fits the best. But it does no say UPON but rather it says UP on the earth which means a place that is HIGHER such as a FLAT PLATEAU which does NOT prove that the WHOLE earth is FLAT. Here is what E-Sword says the Greek word means, that in my opinion, is CORRECTLY translated as they “WENT UP ON the BREADTH of the LAND” For you see, the mortal saints during the Millennial reign of Jesus will be in the LAND of the beloved city of Jerusalem. The wasted ruins that will be destroyed during the FIRST war at the battle of Armageddon will be rebuilt. So then, according to the context which we will read in just a moment, says that the deceived of the nations will go up on the LAND in that part of the world where the beloved city of Jerusalem is located and NOT upon the WHOLE earth. Now, WHERE did the DECEIVED of the NATION COME FROM, according to the Bible ITSELF my dear brother ans sister in our Lord Jesus Christ? Please verse 9 in its context.
Revelation 20:7-9.
“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8. And shall go out to deceive the NATIONS which are IN the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. (So, then, according to the erroneous INTERPRETATION made by “flat earthers”, this would mean that Satan will have to penetrate God’s hard solid impenetrable transparent dome to get OUTSIDE the dome covering the flat earth in order to deceive the NATIONS whose NUMBERS will be as the sands of the sea who are IN the LITERAL four corners of the flat earth model that are four corners of WATER only with no land. And then the deceived of the nations will have to climb up a massive ice wall being soaking wet from treading water. And then they will have to descend back down the massive ice wall to the FLAT earth. And then they will have travel thousands of miles all the way to the LAND of Israel in the Middle East in order to go UP ON the breadth of the LAND to surround the holy city of Jerusalem) 9. And they went UP ON on the breadth of the earth and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”
The beloved city is referring to the city of Jerusalem which is a higher elevation than the land to the north of Jerusalem. When we travel SOUTH we say that we are going DOWN to Florida. And when we travel NORTH we say we are going UP to Canada. But in the Bible, they say, “Let us go UP the Jerusalem.” Again, even the mere fact that the TEACHERS of the flat earth theory use all the verses referring to the earth having an END to mean a LITERAL end that is surrounded by a hard solid impenetrable transparent dome tell ms that their INTERPRETATION of the Scriptures can NOT be TRUSTED. Now, the teachers themselves may not KNOW that they have ERRORED in their interpretation of the Scripture but YOU now know. And if YOU use ANY of the verses that speaking of the earth as having an END, four corners, or a border and you use the LITERAL “flat earther” interpretation the YOU will be DELIBERATELY DECEIVING people because you now know the TRUE SOUND Biblical meaning of all those verses simply meaning to the WHOLE earth in all directions from the four CARDINAL directions of north, south, east and west. Let us take a look at the last verse in the Bible that speaks of the earth as having FOUR CORNERS. Which again are NOT four LITERAL corners as you will plainly see. Here is the LITERAL “flat earthers” INTERPRETATION of Revelation 7:1-3.

“And after these things, I saw four angels STANDING ON the four corners of the earth, (And NOT LITERALLY on some four LITERAL corners of LITERAL WATER on the OUTSIDE of a LITERAL hard solid impenetrable dome covering a LITERAL circular disc-shaped flat earth) holding the FOUR WINDS of the earth, (The four winds from the north, south, east, and west that are on the INSIDE of the hard solid impenetrable dome covering a flat earth) that the wind should not blow ON the earth, nor ON the sea, nor ON any tree. 2. And I saw another angel ASCENDING from the EAST, (On the INSIDE of the hard solid impenatrable dome covering the flat earth) having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea nor the trees, UNTILL we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
Now let us read the sound Bible FIRGURATIVE interpretation of Revelation 7:1-3 that is correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.
Revelation 7:1-3.
“ And after these things, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, (Or the four angels are APPOINTED TO the four cardinal directions of north south east and west of the LAND where the battle of Armageddon will take place because that Great Tribulation has just ended and the rapture of the church is just about to take place. And then Jesus will execute the WRATH of God just as soon as the 144,000 Jews are sealed to be protected from the wrath of God upon the enemies of Israel. The four angels are stationed at the four QUARTERS of the LAND of Israel and they appointed to blow on the four quarters of the LAND but they are told to wait UNTIL the 144,00 are sealed) holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2. And I saw another angel ascending (Or coming out) from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, UNTIL WE (I suppose the “we” here could mean angel coming out from the east along with the four angels stationed at the north, south, east, and west quarters of the land of Israel. Or the proposition “we” could mean Jesus and his army of angels. Whoever the “we” is referring to the wrath of God will not be executed UNTIL the rapture occurs and the 144,000 Jews are sealed. The messenger coming out of the east is saying WITH until we) have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
