U-13. Is Jesus DEITY, ACCORDING to the BIBLE? Part 1

Let me just say right off that I do, indeed, believe that Jesus is CALLED God by TITLE after the cross. And I also believe that Jesus BECAME a Deity after the cross. So I do, indeed, teach that Jesus is Deity having Divine nature but NOT in the same way that the ORTHODOX mainstream church denominations teach like the Oneness Pentecostal Christians and the Trinitarian Christians teach that Jesus had Divine nature DRING the days of his FLESH. I will explain why I believe that the Bible itself teaches us that the human Son of MAN, Jesus, BECAME “a” Deity to JOIN his God and Father on his Father’s throne throughout this three-part study in God’s word. And after reading this study all the way through to the end of part three, then you will see WHY I can no longer believe in the doctrine of the Trinity and why I will NEVER believe the Oneness Pentecostal teaching that Jesus is the Father.

And I might add that we ALL believe what we believe because we were TAUGHT to believe what we believe. In other words, I doubt very seriously that any unsaved person picked up a Bible having never been told about God or His Son Jesus and they became a true-born again Christian. And then after becoming a Christ to have the Holy Spirit dwell in them to lead and guide them into all truth that they interpreted the Scriptures all on their own without being influenced by other Christians to come up with either of the following three man-made church doctrines, the doctrine of the Trinity, the doctrine of Oneness, also called Modalism and the TWO natures at the SAME time doctrine of the Deity of Jesus during the days of his FLESH. For you see, one has to READ INTO the Scriptures all three of those man-made doctrines.

So then, here is what I have COME to believe over many years by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Let me just briefly state what I have come to believe, then I will state how I came to believe this truth in God’s word. And then I will give all the verses of Scripture to prove my belief as being sound Biblical teaching with no contradictions to any other part of God's word.

SECTION ONE

I believe that Jesus pre-existed ONLY as an IMAGE that God Himself formed within Himself to bring forth into a literal existence in the future. In other words, I do not believe that the WHOLE word of God teaches us that Jesus literally pre-existed AS an already SEPARATE divine eternal being who was WITH the Almighty God AT the ONLY TRUE God's SIDE in the eternity past. But rather, I believe that God’s Son came into existence as the FULFILLMENT of God’s spoken word of PROPHECY where the ONE God in ONE person performed Hos own spoken word of prophecy.

So then, to me, as in, what the Holy Spirit taught to me, is that at the beginning of the first of creation before anything was created there was only the ONE true God in ONE being and in ONE person all by Himself being ALONE. And then, the ONE God in ONE person alone and by himself created the Aleph and the Tav which are the FIRST and the LAST Hebrew letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In other words, the Aleph and the Tav mean the whole Hebrew Alphabet from the first to the last letters which God formed words that described the image in His mind and thoughts that God desired to bring forth out from within Himself to create into existence.

I believe that the ONE God in ONE being in ONE person created everything that exists. And here is just one verse as to why I have come to believe this to be the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God who ALONE in the Father. I will highlight all the words and pronouns that refer to Yahweh who alone and by Himself is the creator in orange. And I will highlight all the words and pronouns that are hidden PROPHECY of God’s yet future Son in yellow. The other colors are for emphasis.

Please read Isaiah 44:24.

“Thus says the LORD, (Or thus says Yahweh) your redeemer, and He that formed YOU from the womb, I am the LORD (Or I am Yahweh) that MAKES ALL THINGS; that stretches forth the heavens ALONE; that spreads abroad the earth BY MYSELF;”

Not only do I believe that Yahweh the Father alone and by Himself create everything that exists, but I also believe that Yahweh FORMED His Son, Jesus, in the WOMB of the Virgin Mary just like ALL the Scriptures PROPHESY. For you see, the PROPHECY in Isaiah 9:6,7 speaks of a CHILD being born of a virgin first and then a Son is GIVEN. And then, WHEN the government is laid upon his shoulder, the one prophesied to come into existence will be CALLED by the NAME the Mighty God. Plain and simple, the LOGOS, the word, or the SAYING in John 1:1,14 is the Almighty God’s spoken word of PROPHECY that came out from the mouth of God that was made FLESH. Let us go ahead and read Isaiah 9:6,7. And as you read this PROPHECY of God’s yet coming Son into existence, I want you to notice the ORDER in which the events are PROPHESIED to come to pass.

“For (Order of event #1 that has already been FULFILLED) unto us, a CHILD is BORN, (THEN comes Order of event #2 that has also already been FULFILLED) unto us a son is given: (Speaking of the HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus as the Son given as the ONE sacrifice for the sins of the world. Yahweh provided His own Lamb that was slain in the mind of God from the foundation of the world. God chose His Lamb to be made inferior to the angels so He made the human race a little lower than the angelic beings) and (And THEN Order of event #3 is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED) the government shall be upon his shoulder: (Which is the WRATH of God executed by Jesus. That is WHEN the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of God's dear Son to begin the 1000 year reign of Jesus) and ( And THEN will come Order of event #4 that is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED WHEN the government will be set upon the shoulder of Jesus IN the world to come. And at that TIME of the second coming of Jesus to begin the world to come) his NAME shall be CALLED Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, (Or more precisely, according to Hebrew 5:9, the father of everlasting life or the AUTHOR of eternal life. For you see, it was BECAUSE, OF the Son of man, Jesus obeying his God and Father's Will, that Jesus made it possible for whosoever believes in him shall be saved. Jesus was MADE perfect and he BECAME the father of eternal life AFTER the cross. For you see, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN the authority and the power AFTER the cross to JUDGE and also to give eternal life to whomsoever he chooses. This is why Psalms chapter 2 prophesies to kiss the feet of God’s Son whom He ordained or SET to be His King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus is also called) The Prince of Peace. (And, according to Revelation 1:5, Jesus is our Prince right now standing at the right hand of God. But at his second coming, Jesus will SIT on the right hand of Yahweh to rule and reign FOR Yahweh in Yahweh’s NAME as the Lord of the Sabbath for 1000 years. And at that time, the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. And)

7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

Also, please notice WHO is doing the PERFORMING of His own spoken word of PROPHECY that came forth OUT FROM His mouth. It is Almighty God Yahweh the creator who is performing His own word. So to me, Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of the spoken word of PROPHECY. Jesus began as a THOUGHT in God’s mind as God's secret plan of salvation. Not just the salvation of mankind that He had not yet created, but also the RESTORATION of the entire universe back to being at PEACE having no WAR. God created the human race to put an END to evil. So then, I believe that DURING the days of his FLESH, Jesus was 100% a MAN whom his God ANOINTED at the baptism of Jesus. The Greek words that are translated as God SENT His Son almost always means God COMMISSIONED His human Son, Jesus. And the other Greek word means SENDING as in, Jesus was being LED by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit drove or SENT the human Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted. The word commission means to give power and authority to a person to empower them to accomplish that task that they are called upon to do. And that is one of the meanings of the Greek word translated as Christ. The word Christ means ANOINTED and Messiah of Savior. And Jesus was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and power from o high AT his baptism in the River Jordan by John the Baptist. And that was WHEN his God sent the Son of MAN, Jesus, into the world to accomplish the task God called him to do.

According to the prophecy in Isaiah 42:6, Jesus was CALLED to walk in righteousness and not sin. And the first thing that the Holy Spirit SENT Jesus to do was to be TEMPTED by the devil. And, according to James 1:13, we know that Almighty God Himself can NOT be TEMPTED. But yet, according to Hebrews 4:15, Jesus was tempted in all points like as we are tempted yet without sin. And, according to Hebrew 9:14, the ANOINTED human Jesus accomplished not sinning THROUGH the Eternal Spirit DWELLING IN him which is the SAME Holy Spirit who now DWELLS IN us to empower us to live without sin. For you see, there is but ONE Spirit, and that ONE eternal Holy Spirit is the Father, the ONE and only true God in ONE person who is a Spirit.

And, according to Philippians 2:8-11, I believe that AFTER the Son of man became obedient to do all his God and Father's will, even to die on the cross, that God resurrected the Son of MAN from the dead and HIGHLY exalted him to BECOME DEITY to rule and reign FOR Yahweh in the world yet to come. It was AFTER the cross that Jesus was given a NEW name that is ABOVE every other name except for the name Yahweh so that AT the NAME every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord to the GLORY OF Almighty God the FATHER, according to Philippians 2:8-11.

Jesus said that he is the Lord of the “SABBATH”. The sabbath is during the SEVENTH day. And one day is as a thousand years. So the “Sabbath” that Jesus is referring to is the seventh 1000 year long day of the Millennial reign of Jesus during the world yet to come. And that is when Jesus will be called by the NAME or by the TITLE the Mighty God to rule as the Lord of the “SABBATH” which is the seventh day of Yahweh’s rest while His now glorified Son will rule FOR Him IN Yahweh’s NAME the name above every other name that was GIVEN to the Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross.

So then, just to recap briefly. In the beginning, there was God ALONE having WITHIN Himself a DESIRE to have a human Son who He Himself would train up and empower to be His Savior, as in the means by which Yahweh would reconcile the world back to Himself by being IN His human Son as the one actually doing the works as His human Son OBEY his God and Father. So Jesus LEARNED obedience by the temptations that he suffered. And Jesus suffered greatly in the Garden of Gethsemane sweating great drops of blood to bring his OWN will into submission to do his God and Father’s Will.

But at “A’ beginning after Lucifer rebelled to make war against God to try and take over His throne, the ONE and only true God ins ONE person alone and by Himself recreated the heavens and the earth that BECAME void during the Luciferian war against God. So the Genesis account, the account n Proverbs 8:22-31, and the account in John 1:1 refer to ANOTHER beginning to the restoration of the earth to be inhabited once again. And Almighty God the Father ALONE and by Himself restored the earth having a PLAN of salvation in His mind as He said to the Elohim, the angles, “Let us make man in our image after our likeness” and while God said those word he encoded a SECRET message to His yet future human Son, that TOGETHER his God and a MAN made LOWER than the angels, would make the fallen humans in their own image after FIRST making His FIRST begotten Son in His own image AFTER the cross.

You see, according to the prophecies and according to the prophecies that have already been fulfilled, God STARTED with a HUMAN Son whom He VISITED morning by morning to TEACH that the Scriptures testify of him, according to Isaiah 50:4-6 and Psalm 8:4. Also, see Hebrews 2:5-10 which is how the very Apostles of Jesus understood Jesus to be. They did NOT see Jesus as Almighty God in the flesh.

Then God ANOINTED the Son of MAN with the Holy Spirit and power at his baptism according to Acts 10:38 and Luke 4:1-22. Jesus is called Immanuel which means God was WITH us BY God DWELLING IN the Son of MAN to EMPOWER the Son of MAN to accomplish all his God gave him to do. AFTER the Son of MAN overcame the enemy to lay down his life by dying on the cross, THEN God highly exalted the Son of MAN to become a God or DEITY to rule and reign FOR Yahweh on Yahweh's throne for 1000 years.

Again, I give all the verses to prove what I just said in the many Bible studies that I gave links to and will continue to give links to throughout this study. But I will comer some of the verses of Scripture further on in this study right after my personal testimony of how I came to believe this truth of the whole word of Almighty God in section two.

SECTION TWO

And here is my personal testimony of HOW I came to believe what I now believe and teach.

Being one, who has been born and raised in a church, so to speak, I have heard, and have been taught many things about God by the Roman Catholic Church first and then other church denominations later on in my adult life. And even though I was taught about God from an early age, I never had what some call a personal relationship with Jesus, until I began dating the girl that I would someday marry. Looking back, I am fully persuaded that it was her rock-solid, unshakable faith in God, and her prayers that caused me to take a closer look for myself at what I was taught to believe to see IF what I what taught by the Roman Catholic Church denomination agreed or disagreed with what the Bible ITSELF teaches. For you see, my faith or Roman Catholic Church upbringing had failed me, and I was no longer going to church at the time when I first met my first wife-to-be. Sadly she died at the young age of forty-five but joyfully God brought to me another wonderful wife two and a half years later.

As I said, before I met my wife, I was born and raised in a church, that is to say, more precisely I was raised in a religious-based home. My mother was a devout Catholic, who had me baptized in the Roman Catholic Church as a baby. And my dad was a Methodist but he no longer went to the Methodist church and only to the Catholic Church twice a year on Christmas and Easter. However, my dad did become a true born-again Christian before he died, but my mom died as a Roman Catholic. So then being a Catholic was I was a child living at home, I myself was taught from a very young age that I was never to question the priest or the nuns who taught me about God. Over and over I heard this almost warning and almost threat, NOT to question what I was taught about God.

All my life as I was growing up in the Catholic faith, I was taught never to question what I was taught to believe. But then one day while I was in a high school class at church, the priest began to teach on the doctrine of the Trinity. He began to explain the Godhead as being three persons and yet still one God. All three persons were God, meaning that there was God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, but yet there was only one God. He went on to say that it is sort of like water which is an element called H20. He explained that water or H2O can be a liquid, or water can be a gas such as steam or as a vapor, as in, when we see our breath in cold weather, and water can be as a solid like ice and snow. He said, yet all three forms that water cam have even at the SAME time are still the ONE element called H20. Now I already knew all of this, because I had heard it all my life. However, this particular priest said something I never heard before.

He then made a statement that really made me think, I mean really made me think for MYSELF. He said to us, “Are there any QUESTIONS”….a seemingly long pause…Then he went on to say, “It is alright to question your faith. He then said I know some of you have some questions.”

From that point on I could not tell you a word that was said, I was deep in thought, in my own world, so to speak. I almost could not believe my ears. All this time I had been taught that it was wrong to question my beliefs, or what I had been TAUGHT about God and His Son, Jesus, in the Roman Catholic Church, And now this particular priest is telling me that it is ALRIGHT to QUESTION what he was teaching. Now here is what came out of this deep thought.

It was like I was set free to think for myself. I always feared to ask any questions about God because I was always taught that the Pope was infallible, which means the Pope could not make an error in writing the doctrines of the church. And since I was TAUGHT by the priests and the nuns that all the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church that were handed down from the Pope himself through the chain of those in leadership, the cardinals, the bishops, the priest, the nun, and then ultimately to us, the laity, no Catholic is to ever QUESTION the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church.

To be honest, my knowledge of God and the Bible was next to none at the time that I accepted Jesus as my personal savior at the age of 22. I cannot tell you the exact time and day, but only the season that I came to the knowledge of the truth and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. It was four to five months before I got married. Anyway, as I was saying earlier, my soon-to-be wife’s unshakable faith caused me to closely examine my own beliefs for MYSELF using only the Bible.

The only thing I knew for an absolute surety at that time was that all the Christian beliefs, no matter which church or the denomination there was that they all used the Bible as their foundation for what each of these different church denominations believed. Yet, I knew that they all taught something different and that is why there was not just ONE church denomination? But which church denomination was teaching the truth. Were any of the church denominations teaching EVERYthing as being the truth? I felt deep inside that the ONLY way to know for sure was to see for MYSELF what the Bible ITSELF teaches.

So I purchased a five-dollar award Bible and held it up before God. And from all the sincerity of my heart, I prayed this prayer, “God I want to know the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT the TRUTH. I do not care who is right or who is wrong, all I want to know is the TRUTH.” I knew in my heart that the Bible was the word of TRUTH, even though I had never previously owned a Bible of my own before and never heard or read those words for myself from the word of God. I just somehow knew in my heart that the Bible was the word of truth.

It was then that I began to read the Bible from cover to cover. Well, to make a long story short, God led me to the Scripture that was keeping me from trusting Him fully. He showed me the TRUTH that I was seeking, even though I did not know at the time that I was seeking this particular truth. And this is the truth God showed me that day which set me free to truly trust Him in all areas of my life. And that TRUTH is that God never intended for there to be divisions or different denominations in the church. When I read the words of Paul the Apostle in 1 Corinthians 1:10-13 that divisions in the church ought not to be so, I was set free. From that point on, it was like a light was turned on inside of me and God began revealing many things to me from His word. And even though the reason I prayed that prayed to know the truth was because I could not understand all the divisions and fighting in the church I did not yet understand until that time that I was set free to fully trust God and His word that it was all the man-made church doctrines that cause all the divisions in the church

But the thing is, that even today, some forty years later God is still honoring and answering that prayer of my desire to know the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.”

Well, that was just a brief summary of my personal testimony as to how I overcame the FEAR to never question any church doctrine that I was taught. In section three of part one, we will cover some of the QUESTIONS that I had.

But the thing is, that even today, some forty years later God is still honoring and answering that prayer of my desire to know the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.”

Well, that was just a brief summary of my personal testimony as to how I overcame the FEAR to never question any church doctrine that I was taught. In section three of part one of this study on the deity of Jesus according to what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in simplicity, we will cover some of the QUESTIONS that I had concerning the Scriptures not matching the teaching of the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus having TWO natures at the SAME time DURING the days of his FLESH.

SECTION THREE

Now, this brings us to the question or questions that I myself had that I was struggling with after I recently became a true born-again Christian at the age of 22. And I know that if I had these questions that other Christians might also struggle with these same questions.

One of the first questions that I had was concerning the TWO nature doctrine of the Deity of Jesus at the SAME time was that I did not see any Scriptures in the Bible ITSELF that teaches us that Jesus had two natures at the SAME time. What I see that the Bible itself teaches, is that Jesus had a HUMAN nature first and then AFTER the cross his God and Father GAVE His humans Son the Divine nature of immortality as the JOY set before him to endure the cross, according to Hebrews 12:2, Hebrews 1:9, and Philippians 2:8-11. So my first question is as follows.

#1. “Is the teaching of the Deity of Jesus, that Jesus is God, being FULLY God, as in, Jesus being fully THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God Himself in the FLESH during the days of his FLESH while at the same time being fully human having TWO natures at the SAME TIME, one divine, and the other human?”

I wanted to know if Jesus did the works that he did as ALmighty God Himself, as the SON OF Almighty God, or as the Son of MAN. For you see, as I was reading the Bible it did not seem to be saying that Jesus did the work of healing AS being Almighty God Himself. SO I was seeing a CONTRADICTION between what I was TAUGHT and what I was reading in the Bible ITSELF’ So I ask God if I was reading the Bible correctly.

And also this first question brought another question to my mind.

#2. “Is the doctrine of the Trinity that there are three persons or three beings in one God. Where these three different persons are co-eternal and co-equal with each other?

For you see, what I was reading in the Bible was NOT agreeing with what I was TAUGHT by the doctrine of the Trinity which teaches that co-eternal meaning that each of these three persons having always existed without beginning or having an end. And co-equal meaning, according to the doctrine of the Trinity, that I was taught in the Roman Catholic Church it that each person is equal in every way where non is less than nor great than the other. They have always been equal in power and in knowledge. But that is NOT what I was reading in the Bible ITSELF. So again, I ask God, am I understanding the Bible correctly and the doctrine of the Trinity is in ERROR? Or am I misunderstanding what I am reading in the Bible?

So then, the purpose of this study in God’s word of truth is to see if either of these teachings are SOUND BIBLICAL teaching having NO contradictions to ANY part of God's word. In other words, “Are these ‘Orthodox’ Christians doctrines that are widely accepted church DOCTRINES the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God” Do these teachings contain a portion of what is true? Or are these two doctrines completely man-made doctrines of men that contain errors of interpretation of the Scriptures?”

Let us take a CLOSE look at the word of God and let the Scriptures interpret the Scriptures. In other words, let God’s word be the SOLE foundation on which we base our beliefs.

Now as many of you already know, the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible. However, I can definitely see the plurality and the unity between Almighty God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus clearly SEEN in the Bible. In other words, there is definitely a distinction made between Almighty God the Father and his Son Jesus, but yet, they are united and they work together as one. However, I do NOT see the same kind of between the Holy Spirit of Almighty God and the Father as being two separate persons from each other. But rather, to ME, I myself see that the Holy Spirit IS the Father, as in, ONE and the SELF-SAME divine eternal Spirit and not simply UNITED in agreement as one. For all the verses of Scriptures that, to ME, prove without a doubt that Almighty God the Father is the ONE eternal Holy Spirit please read the study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!”

But for now, here are some examples of what I mean by some verses that SEEM to teach us that God is plural and thus it is INTERPRETED by ONLY Trinitarian Christians to mean that God is a triune or Trinity God Godhead. One of those most popular Trinitarian verses of Scripture in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:26 where God says, “Let us make man in OUR image and after OUR likeness.

Please read Genesis 1:27a.

“And God said, Let us make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness:…”.

Now if one focuses only on this one verse of Scripture without any knowledge in their mind of the rest of the word of God it would seem relatively clear and certain that God is more than one person who is talking to at least one other person and both of THEM together making man in THEIR OWN image. And, obviously, Trinitarian Christians, “interpret” the plural pronouns as being THREE separate persons as opposed to only TWO separate persons.

Notice that I highlighted the lower case “a” in the Scripture reference and the three dots after the word likeness… This is to let the reader know that ONLY the first part of verse 26 is being quoted. And this is called taking a verse OUT of its CONTEXT and cherry-picking only parts of the verse of Scripture to build a church doctrine upon.

So then, is the Trinitarian interpretation of the plural pronouns as being THREE persons what the WHOLE word of God teaches us? Is God indeed a Trinity God or have Trinitarians Christians read into these verses their own personal interpretation dogmatically demanding that there is NO other way to interpret these verses that SEEM to IMPLY that God is plural Trinity Godhead, but yet, just ONE God. Before we take a look at the true sound Biblical meaning of Genesis 1:26 being LEFT in its CONTEXT let us briefly take a look at the other plural pronouns that are used of Elohim translate as God and using plural pronouns.

Here are a few more verses of Scripture that also show this plurality.

Genesis 3:22a.

“And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:…”

Genesis 11:7,8a.

“Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the Lord scattered them…”

Also, please read Genesis 18:1-33, which is the entire passage, but I am only going to focus on the verses that imply the plurality of God which are verses 1-4,17,33.

Genesis 18:1-4,17,33.

“And the Lord appeared unto him (Abraham) in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

2. And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, lo, THREE men stood by him: and when he saw THEM, he ran to meet THEM from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground.

3. And said my Lord, (Singular) If now I have found favor in your sight, pass not away, I pray you, from your servant:

4. Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest YOURSELVES under the tree.”…

...17. And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do? (Then in the following verses that you can read on your own you will see that discussion between God and Abraham about the destruction of Sodom. And the LORD that remained with Abraham is believed by ONLY Trinitarian Christians to be Jesus appearing to Abraham, because elsewhere in the word of God we are taught that NO man has ever seen Almighty God the Father. But the real question should be, Did Abraham SEE Yahweh with his physical eyes, or did Abraham simply HEAR the voice of Yahweh? For you see, Yahweh APPEARED to others and they did not SEE anything. So the word APPEARED can simply mean that Abraham HEARD Yahweh talking to him and then Abraham SWA the three men in the distance. So Abraham put out a “fleece” to Yahweh up in heaven saying to the voice he was hearing, if I have found favor with you then do not depart from me as Abraham ran to greet the three men. Then Abraham spoke to the three angels that he thought were three men. Then when the three angels left, Yahweh was still there just as Abraham asked the Lord not to go away. Son Abraham could have been putting a fleece before God to see if the voice talking with him was truly Yahweh by saying that if these three men were sent by you then let them not refuse my hospitality then I will know that it is you. Or Abraham could have been talking to Yahweh and these three men were a DISTRACTION and Abraham said please hold on a minute, Lord, while I tend to these three men approaching my tent. Please do not go away while I am showing them my hospitality. And when the three angels left Yahweh honored Abraham’s request to still be there after the three angels left. And then you know the conversation between Yahweh and Abraham while the angels went to see if it was as bad and the cry that came up to heaven. And after Abraham got God to agree that for the sake of ten righteous people, God would not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah)...

...33. And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.”

Just briefly, I would also like to point out that Yahweh is talking to the THREE men who are actually three angels appearing in the form of three men asking the question, “Shall I [Yahweh] hide from Abraham the thing which I [Yahweh] shall do?”

Now, we all know that God is NOT an angel because God created the angels. And all Christians should know that Jesus is NOT an angel because God made him a little LOWER than the angels. But let us ASSUME that Yahweh did appear to Abraham where Abraham literally saw Yahweh with his physical eyes. Since Yahweh is defined by Trinitarian Christians as one Yahweh in three separate persons and Yahweh appeared to Abraham to literal be seen with physical eyes then why is Yahweh only no only ONE of the three persons of the Trinity God and the other two angels, are real angels? Was only one of the angels Yahweh talking to the other two angels that Yahweh sent. Remember that Yahweh appeared to Abraham who “supposedly” said to Yahweh Himself, rest YOURSELVES in the plural. So, according to the Trinitarian interpretation, then ALL THREE angels would or should have been Yahweh and NOT just one of the angels. But yet, Trinitarians MUST have just ONE angel be Yahweh because Yahweh Himself has never been SEEN by mortal men. In other words, Trinitarian Christians are forcing the Old Testament Scriptures to teach a PRE-EXISTING Yahweh the Son who manifested himself in the form of an angelic being which then manifested himself in the form of a man while the other two angles were literal angelic beings who also appeared in the form of men.

Or did Yahweh from up in heaven talk to all three angels that he sent on the earth while Abraham simply HEARD Yahweh and SAW three angels that appeared in the form of three men? For a more in-depth verse by verse study of these three angels being sent to Abraham by Yahweh please read the study “THREE MEAN WHO APPEARED TO ABRAHAM!”

Then in Isaiah 6:3, we see THREE times that the word HOLY is spoken which some Trinitarian Christians claim represents ONE HOLY for each person of the Trinity Godhead.

Here is Isaiah 6:3.

“And one cried HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Again, I myself and many other Christians who call themselves Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that the Bible itself clearly teaches us that there is but ONE God in ONE person who is Yahweh, the Father ALONE. And we believe that Yahweh brought into existence His Son Jesus as a human being FIRST whom the Father highly exalted to be MADE to BECOME a Lord and a God by TITLE to rule and reign on his God and Father's throne for 1000 years. Please stay with me to hear me out to the end of this three-part study in God's word and I will show you all the Scriptures that clearly teach what I just said to you either in this study or in a study that I give a link to for you to read later.

In other words, I do not cover every single verse of Scripture in every single study and this is why I give my readers links to other studies that I have where those studies focus on other verses in-depth that are only mentioned in this study and may not be mentioned at all in other studies.

I say this because I have been accused of NOT giving any Scripture to prove what I teach and I am thinking to myself that I personally do not know anyone who gives more Scripture than me to support what they are teaching. And very few Bible teachers go into detail explaining the verses of Scripture that they give only as references like Genesis 8:1-4,17 and then they leave it to you to look the Scripture references up on your own to read. Now, to be fair, there are some Trinitarian Christian that at times do actually quote a few verses of Scripture but most of them almost always never quote the CONTEXT.

Now at times, I myself do not always quote the entire context because I want to focus specifically on the verses that Trinitarians and Oneness Pentecostal believers use to TRY and prove that Jesus is Yahweh HIMSELF before Yahweh Himself supposedly became flesh.

But the Bible ITSELF say that the “word” was made FLESH and NOT that Yahweh Himself was made flesh.

So again, if the phrase “THREE men” in Genesis 8:1-33 is compared to actually being Almighty God, the Father, Jesus, the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, and that INTERPRETATION of Genesis chapter 18 is joined with Isaiah 6:3 where we see THREE times the word “HOLY” is said together. Then one could assume or INTERPRET, as in, READ INTO this Scripture that these THREE words, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY are meant to show that Almighty God, the Father is HOLY, that Jesus, the Son of God is HOLY, and that the Spirit of God is HOLY. And thus imply or reason that God is THREE persons but yet one God.

So this brings us to the question, “Is Jesus God, as in, ONE and the self-SAME being with Almighty God, Yahweh, with all power, being all-knowing, and being omnipresent, that is to say, present everywhere at the same time?”

OR, is Jesus the SON OF God, in that, Jesus is UNDER Almighty God, as in, Jesus is SUBJECT to his God and Father?

If so be, that the Son of God pre-existed in the eternity past with Yahweh at Yahweh’s side as the second person of Yahweh Himself, then another question is raised.

Is the Son without beginning and has always been an eternal being the same as Almighty God, the Father, who was ALWAYS WITH the Father at his side, as many of us have been taught by the DOCTRINE of the Trinity and the DOCTRINE of the deity of Jesus?

OR, did Jesus have a beginning, in that, he is born OF God or begotten by God like the Bibles ITSELF actually teaches?

Now, some former Trinitarian Christians and some former Oneness Pentecostal Christians that have seen from the Scriptures that Jesus is NOT Almighty God Himself as one and the self-same BEING still argue that there is NO difference in being Almighty God Himself being Almighty God’s SON because Jesus would have had the same nature as the Father during the days of his FLESH which nature is DIVINE. In other words, Jesus would have been of the SAME SUBSTANCE as Yahweh because God was his Father and Divine nature begets Divine nature. And thus, the TWO natures at the SAME time doctrine was born but it was not forced to be accepted until the Chalcedon Council in 451 AD. Check it out for yourself.

But what does the Bible ITSELF teach us?

You see, some things may SEEM to be true but they may not always be the truth of the WHOLE TRUTH.

The Bible itself tells us that there are many that are called gods, but to us, as Christians, there is only ONE GOD who is the FATHER. And the Bible itself teaches us that Yahweh the Father is the God OF Gods who He Himself SET to be Gods under Himself to rule as Gods over parts of His creation.

Please read 1 Corinthians 8:4-7.

“As concerning, therefore, the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, WE (As Christians) know that an idol is nothing in the world and that there is none other God but ONE. (In other words, false idols have no power over us and, therefore, there is no conscience of fear in us to be afraid that we “worship” the false god that the idol represents. False gods are NOTHING to us as Christians)

5. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in the earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

6. But to us, is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, (Speaking of the ALL who BELIEVE in Jesus) and we IN him; (We are IN the only true God who alone is the Father by being IN His Son) and ONE Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (Or because of Jesus or through Jesus being the WAY are ALL of whosoever BELIEVES, and WE IN him. The word “things” is NOT in the original text. And, according to Acts 2:36, Jesus was MADE Lord BY his God and Father after the cross)

7. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol (Or having the fear of POLYTHEISM or the fear of worshiping a FALSE God or worshiping a God ABOVE the only true God) unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.”

The last clause in verse 7 “and THEIR conscience being WEAK is defiled” is talking about the Judaizing Christians who are keeping the Law of Mose under the Old Covenant not to eat meat that was sacrificed to idols. They are weak because they still have the CONSCIENCE of idols that is the fear of polytheism to worship other gods.

In other words, simply because Jesus was MADE Lord by Yahweh Himself and Jesus is a lessor Lord under his Lord that does NOT make Jesus be an IDOL. So to us, as Christians, there should be NO fear to worship Jesus even as we worship the only true God who alone is the Father.

However, some Christians focus on this one verse and interpret that ALL other Gods as being idols and false gods completely ignoring that the very disciples of Jesus always clearly identified the ONE, God, to us as Christians, as being the FATHER and our ONE Lord and being Jesus the Christ the SON OF the ONE God and Father OF Jesus. And we are taught to worship BOTH, as in, as we worship Jesus we understand that all the glory goes to the Father who MADE His human Son Lord of the Sabbath which in the 1000 year long seventh day of Yahweh, the Father’s rest on the seventh day. For you see, the now highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh, in Yahweh’s name for 1000 years as the Lord of the Sabbath.

Jesus himself calls almighty God the Father his God in John 20:17. So how can a God under and subject to his God who alone is the only true Almighty God BE that Almighty God? Clearly, the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus was MADE Lord and God AFTER the cross by his God and Father who alone is the only true God, according to John 17:1-3. The Bible always identifies the Father as being the God OF Jesus.

Please read John 20:17.

“Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to MY God, and your God.”

So then, OUR heavenly Father who is called God by TITLE is the GOD OF Jesus who is also called God by TITLE after the cross. The word God is a TITLE. For you see, Satan is also called a god by TITLE. In other words, being called God does not mean that everyone called God is THE only true Almighty God of gods. There can be only ONE God who alone is the Almighty God and that ONE true God in ONE being in ONE person who ALONE in the Father.
