J-7. Is the 1000 YEAR REIGN of Jesus LITERAL?

Is the 1000 year reign of Jesus described in Revelation chapter 20 a literal 1000 years? I also cover this same question in the study “THE INVISIBLE RETURN OF JESUS!”. One reason why I did this study was to prove the error of interpretation made by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of the Jehovah’s Witness Organization.

The short answer to the question, “Is the 1000 year reign of Jesus literal?”, is that DURING the 1000 year reign of Jesus there will be NO WARS. And since there ARE wars still being fought today then this one sound Biblical FACT with no interpretation needed proves that the 1000 year reign of Jesus is indeed a LITERAL 1000 years.

So then, the question now becomes WHEN will the 1000 year reign of Jesus, which is also called the Millennium, begin? Again, the short answer is that the literal 1000 year reign of Jesus will begin AT the coming of Jesus right after the rapture of the church and the first half of God's wrath is poured out.

The longer answer is that the Millennium will not begin in a blink of an eye or in an instant moment in time. What I mean by this is that right before the coming of Jesus to rapture the church there will be 3 ½ years of the great tribulation. During this 3 ½ years of great tribulation, there will be persecution of both the Jews and the Christians. The concentrated persecution and more particularly the killing of the Christians and the Jews will be primarily in the Middle East. But there will be some scattered persecutions and even the killing of Christians and Jews in Europe. And there may be some scattered killings of Christians and Jews here and there all over the world. But mostly, I myself believe that the concentrated killing of the Christians and the Jews will be in the dominant Islamic Muslim controlled countries that have instituted Sharia law.

So I myself do not see a one-world government that will pass a law against all Christians and all Jews for them to be gathered up and exterminated. And I personally believe that the Bible itself teaches us that there will be these concentrated areas of heavy persecution and the killing of the Jews and the Christians in the fourth PART of the land. This is why Jesus said to FLEE Judaea and not to enter the surrounding countries.

Thus there will be a 3 ½ year WAR right before the coming of Jesus to DELIVER God’s people. This 3 ½ year war, which is called the Battle of Armageddon, will be ended BY Jesus and his armies of the saints and the angels. This WAR between Jesus and the ARMIES fighting against Israel and the Christians will begin IMMEDIATELY AFTER the RAPTURE of the church. In other words, this war will already be raging between the Islamic Muslim countries and the army of Israel but at the END of the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation, those armies of the earth will turn to fight against Jesus and his armies in the AIR. We know that Jesus will execute the WRATH of God upon the wicked and that we the church are NOT appointed to God's WRATH. This is why I say that it will be immediately after the rapture of the church that Jesus will put an end to this 3 1/2 year war at the “battle” of Armageddon. The world will call this war as being World War 3. And it may be that every nation gets dragged into this war. If so, then it is my prayer that the United States of America sides with Israel because Jesus will fight against those nations who will be fighting against Israel.

Here is the sequence of events just briefly listed and then we will get into the Scriptures.

#1. The abomination of desolation will be Jerusalem surrounded by ARMIES.

#2. The duration of this war right BEFORE the coming of Jesus to end this war is 42 months or 1260 days. However, it will not be that simple to detect the precise day that this war actually begins. At best it will be an educated guess which could be up to a year off.

#3. At the fullness of time which only the Father knows he will send his Son to DELIVER a REMNANT of Jews and the Christians who have survived the 3 ½ years of the great tribulation. This deliverance of the Christians is called the RAPTURE of the church but ONLY the Faithful Christians both dead and alive will be granted the right to receive eternal life and then rule and reign with Jesus for 1000 years. This is also called the FIRST resurrection. The saints are already judged to be worthy to take part in this FIRST resurrection. That is why ONLY the good and faithful Christians will receive eternal life to rule and reign WITH Jesus during the Millennium IN the CITY of God. The remnant of Jews will be saved alive during the WRATH of God and they will remain on the surface of the earth.

#4. Immediately after the rapture of the church, Jesus will execute the WRATH of God until the remnant of Israel calls upon the name of the Lord to be saved alive. Also, some of the nations will repent as well and call upon the name of the Lord to be saved alive in their mortal bodies during the wrath of God. We will discuss how long the wrath of God will last when we get to the Scriptures.

#5. After the wrath of God has been lifted temporarily for 1000 years then the kingdoms of this present world will become the one kingdom of the Son of God who will be ruling for Yahweh while the Father RESTS during the 1000 year reign of Jesus.

#6. Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for 1000 years right before the 1000 years begin. So at some point during the wrath of God Satan will be bound and cast into the bottomless pit.

#7. The Millennium begins and will last for 1000 years. We will discuss what happens during the Millennium when we get to the Scriptures.

#8. Satan will then be loosed from his chains after the 1000 year reign of Jesus has ended and he will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go about to deceive the nations one final time to make WAR against God’s people.

#9. Those of the nations will beat their farming tools into weapons of war and seek to make war against the Jews and the city of God.

#10. The fire of God’s final part of his wrath will come down out of heaven and devour those who are making war against God’s people the Jews. This is when I personally believe is Jesus will commit the kingdom back into his Father’s hand and Yahweh will cease from his 1000 year long day of REST. But just as Jesus will execute the first half of God's wrath before the 1000 years I also see Jesus executing the last half of God's wrath at the end of the 1000 years as well.

#11. Then after all the wicked are slain during the last half of God's wrath the second and final resurrection will then take place where the REST of the dead are resurrected to be judged at the white throne judgment. All the wicked who have died from Adam to that time of the end of the last war where the last of the wicked will be slain will be resurrected along WITH all of the righteous who died during the Millennium who will also be resurrected and judged. And just like at the coming of Jesus before the Millennium there will also be righteous people living who have accepted Jesus as their savior at the end of the Millennium as well.

#12. ANOTHER book of life will be opened and anyone NOT found in this other book of life will be cast into the lake of fire to be destroyed. They will be cast into the lake of fire alive and both their body and their soul will be destroyed. And THEN God will separate his life-giving spirit from the soul of the wicked only after God destroys the soul of the wicked. And THEN the spirit of God will RETURN to Yahweh and the wicked shall never rise again. There will be no more wickedness or sin from that point in time on into eternity future.

#13. Yahweh will create a new heaven and new earth because the old heaven and the old earth passed away during the final part of his wrath. God MAY restore this old earth but keep in mind the SIZE of the city of God, the New Jerusalem coming down to rest upon the earth. Personally, I believe God will create a new earth that will be larger than this present earth.

#14. Then the city of God, the New Jerusalem, will come down from out of heaven to rest upon the new earth and Yahweh will dwell on the new earth with his new creation of righteousness.

#15. The AGES to come which have not yet entered into the minds of men what God has prepared for those who love him. Consider the VASTNESS of the universe. There will be plenty to see and do in ETERNITY because Yahweh is still creating NEW things all the time. There will never be enough time to see and experience it all.

NOW LET US GET TO THE SCRIPTURES

The first thing that I want to cover is the verses that teach us that Jesus will be ruling and reign FOR Yahweh in the world to come while Yahweh RESTS during that SEVENTH 1000 year long DAY of the LORD. But before SOME of you will be able to see this truth that Jesus will be ruling FOR Yahweh in the world to come for only 1000 years I feel the need to lay a good foundation first. I will discuss the verses that teach us that Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh in section two toward the middle of that section in this study in God’s word. Then is section three I will give some scripture references for each of the 15 above listed in order of events.

Section 1

So then, let us begin this section with 2 Peter 3:7,8 which teaches us that with the Lord one day is as a 1000 years and 1000 years is as one DAY.

2 Peter 3:7,8.

“But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8. But, beloved, be NOT ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one DAY.”

So then, the phrases “the DAY of the Lord” and “in that DAY” are speaking of the 1000 year long DAY in which Jesus will rule and reign as the Lord of the Sabbath during that 1000 year long DAY of the Lord. This one verse teaches us a LOT that some Christians have just read right over and have missed.

Did you know that there will be the FIRE of judgment BOTH before AND after the 1000 year reign of Jesus?

Jesus is coming to execute the WRATH of God right BEFORE the 1000 years actually begin.

Please read 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10.

“So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure:

5. Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer:

6. Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

7. And to you who are troubled rest with us, WHEN the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8. In flaming FIRE taking vengeance on them, that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9. Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

10. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”

Did you know that we who are found to be worthy to inherit eternal life at the coming of Jesus will be given the HONOR to help Jesus execute the wrath of God?

Psalm 104:4.

“Who makes his angels spirits; his MINISTERS a flaming FIRE:”

Psalm 149:4-9.

“For the LORD takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5. Let the SAINTS be joyful IN glory: (Speaking of those of us who are IN Jesus Christ at his coming who will be given new glorified bodies like Jesus has now) let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7. To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8. To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9. To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have ALL his saints. Praise you the LORD.”

The saints IN GLORY will help Jesus execute the vengeance and wrath of God before the 1000 year reign of Jesus and then we will rule and reign WITH Jesus IN the city of God and God’s GLORY shall be over the whole earth. And then at the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus, the remnant of Jews and SOME left alive of the nations will become Christians or saints and they will have this honor of executing vengeance as well in the final war of Gog and Magog. Remember that after the 1000 years has ended Satan will be let loose out of the bottomless pit to DECEIVE the nations, one final time. So NOT everyone will be saved at the end of the Millennium. Keep in mind that the DAY of the LORD is 1000 years long and that there will be FIRE of judgment both BEFORE and AFTER the Millennium.

Here is the fire AFTER the 1000 years has ended. Please read Revelation 20:7-15.

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8. And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, (These saints are the Jews and some of those left alive of the nations who will become Christians during the Millennium who will remain faithful and not be deceived to take the SAME mark of the beast that WE must overcome during the 3 ½ years of great tribulation. WE, as faithful Christians, will already be GLORIFIED with the divine nature of IMMORTALITY and we are NOT appointed to either part of God’s wrath nor the second death in the lake of fire the final judgment.) and the beloved city: and FIRE came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. (This is the second HALF an hour of God’s WRATH. God’s wrath is described as being the HOUR of testing. And HALF an hour of God’s wrath will take place right BEFORE the Millennium and the last HALF an hour of God’s wrath will take place after the 1000 years are finished)

10. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

11. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and ANOTHER book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

So then, you should be seeing by now that what happens BEFORE the Millennium will be “mirrored” so to speak to where what takes place right AFTER the 1000 years will be very SIMILAR to what happens right BEFORE the 1000 year reign of Jesus.

Let us now read Revelation 8:1 which is where we see the first HALF an HOUR of God’s wrath being described as SILENCE in heaven for the space of HALF an HOUR.

Revelation 8:1

“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of HALF an HOUR.”

This is ALL of the seventh seal. Just this ONE single verse IS the seventh seal which is the WRATH of God being described as silence in heaven for the space of time of HALF an HOUR. Starting in verse 2 is a recap of the great tribulation described in the first SIX seals. The book of Revelation keeps REPEATING itself giving us more detail each time.

The SEVENTH seal, the SEVENTH trumpet, and the SEVENTH vial all speak of the WRATH of God. And the first SIX seals, the first SIX trumpets, and the first SIX vials all speaking of the great tribulation and the tribulation from the time that John wrote down this prophecy. And in between the SIXTH seal and the SEVENTH seal we see a picture of the rapture of the church and the sealing of the REMNANT of the Jews who will go through the wrath of God. We see the same thing in between the SIXTH trumpet and the SEVENTH trumpet. And again we see the same thing in between the SIXTH vial and the SEVENTH vial.

What some Christians have failed to see is that the 3 ½ years of great tribulation is NOT the wrath of God. And at the same time, some Christians have failed to see that what Jesus taught us in Matthew 24 of a time that shall never be like it again is CONNECTED to but NOT the great tribulation.

Let me explain what I mean by this. The time of Jacob’s trouble will include BOTH the 3 ½ years of great tribulation AND the WRATH of God speaking of the FIRST HALF an HOUR of God’s wrath which will be lifted or suspended lest God destroy all of the children of Israel and not leave himself a REMNANT who multiply as the sand of the sea during the 1000 years of Jesus. But WE the church are NOT appointed to EITHER part of God’s WRATH.

However, the church WILL go through the entire period of great tribulation and be raptured just in the nick of time to be spared the WRATH of God. There are several verses that prove this which most Christians already know so I will just quote Revelation 3:10-13 where we see the phrase the HOUR of temptation. And if you do not know then please read the studies I have on the rapture of the church for sound Biblical teaching that proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Bible itself teaches a premillennial post-tribulation rapture of the church.

Revelation 3:10-13.

“BECAUSE you have kept the word of my patience, (To OVERCOME and NOT take the mark of the beast) I also will keep you from the HOUR of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Jesus will execute the WRATH of God at his COMING but right before the wrath is poured out he will KEEP US from the wrath of God by catching us into the AIR and giving us eternal life in a moment and in a twinkling of an eye. The angels will then gather us together and take us to MEET Jesus in the AIR over the place called Armageddon where we will be given the HONOR to help Jesus execute the vengeance and wrath of God for the space of HALF an HOUR. The other half an hour is reserved for those who BECOME saints DURING the 1000 year reign of Jesus)

11. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown. (By deceiving you to take the MARK of the beast, or to just give up your faith believing the lies that there is no God or that Jesus is not coming back.)

12. Him that OVERCOMES will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (Remember that Jesus is speaking to us the church now in this present world but he is also speaking to the JEWS in the world to come. This is how you need to read the book of Revelation.)

13. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

Let us take a look at some other verses with the word “HOUR” in them in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 18:1-10.

“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. (This is the coming of Jesus with his archangel Michael to execute the wrath of God and to bind Satan for 1000 years.)

2. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the WRATH of her fornication (Meaning that they are worthy to receive the wrath of God poured out upon them), and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (This is the RAPTURE of the church being caught up into the chariots of God and taken to meet Jesus in the AIR to help execute the WRATH of God)

5. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

6. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her DOUBLE according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her DOUBLE. (It is interesting to me, that the word “wrath” if found 198 times in the King James Version of the Bible and that the numbers that divide evenly into 198 are all DOUBLE digit numbers. 2x99, 3x66, 6x33, 9x22 all equal 198. And it is also interesting that this is yet another hidden prophecy of the TWO HALVES of God’s wrath where one HALF an HOUR is poured out before the 1000 years and the other HALF HOUR is poured out after the 1000 years.)

7. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8. Therefore shall her plagues come in ONE DAY, (Remember that one DAY is as a 1000 years with the Lord. So the first HALF an HOUR of God double wrath is poured out at the BEGINNING of this 1000 year long DAY and the last HALF an HOUR of God’s double wrath will be poured out at the END of this 1000 year long DAY of the LORD.) death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

9. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

10. Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in ONE HOUR is your JUDGMENT come.”

Now that you can see that the event BEFORE the 1000 year reign of Jesus parallel the event AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus let us take a look a the TWO WARS. The war or the battle of Armageddon and the war or the battle of Gog and Magog.

It is widely accepted by most all prophecy teachers that the war BEFORE the Millennium is called the Battle of Armageddon and the war AFTER the millennium is called the battle of Gog and Magog.

For the most part, this is true but what some prophecy teachers have missed in the Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 are TWO different WARS. Ezekiel chapter 38 actually describes the SECOND war after the Millennium when Israel is living in peace and safety in unwalled cities. And Ezekiel 39 is describing the FIRST war BEFORE the Millennium. This is another study in and of itself but I just wanted to mention it here in this study.

The next point I want to discuss is the TWO RESURRECTIONS. The resurrection BEFORE the Millennium is called the FIRST resurrection and trust me when I say that you will want to take part in the FIRST resurrection. The second and final resurrection, the ONLY other resurrection that will take place is after the second war after the 1000 years has ended.

This is found in Revelation chapter 20.

Revelation 20:1-15.

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (This is the coming of Jesus with his archangel Michael to RAPTURE the church and seal 144,000 Jews of the twelve tribes of Israel as you can see in Revelation chapter 7.)

2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, TILL the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that, he must be loosed a little season.

4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:(Remember that this honor of executing judgment is given to the saints IN glory or the newly glorified saints at the coming of Jesus) and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, AND for the word of God, (Remember that Satan will be let loose to deceive the nations AGAIN so it will be a repeat of sorts having the SAME beast system with the SAME MARK of the beast to be overcome by the JEWS during the 1000 year reign of Jesus just like we must overcome the MARK of the beast in this PRESENT world. The TWO witnesses are the Christians and the Jews. BUT only the Christians will be gloried at the rapture and given eternal life to rule with Jesus as the King of the Jews. You will see these TWO groups of people who are the two witnesses’ all through the book of Revelation but the witness at different TIMES. Both are called saint but they become saints at DIFFERENT times. In other words, there will be TWO HARVESTS one BEFORE the 1000 years and one AFTER the 1000 years. Every man in his own ORDER according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.) and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (ONLY those who ARE Christ’s at his coming will be granted eternal life to live and reign with Jesus over the mortals down on the surface of the earth. So you will want to be blessed to take part in the FIRST resurrection which will take place AT the coming of Jesus BEFORE the Millennium.)

5. But the REST of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the FIRST resurrection. (The King James translation is in the Old English which is backward to how we talk today. Today we would say This is the FIRST resurrection. But the REST of the dead lived not again until the thousand years have been completed)

6. BLESSED and holy is he that has a part in the FIRST resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, AND shall reign WITH him a thousand years. (Once we are found worthy to take part in the FIRST resurrection then and only then shall we be eternally saved and the second death will have no more power over us.)

7. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8. And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. (By this time the remnant of the nations left alive will have multiplied during the 1000 years to once again become great in number. And Satan will DECEIVE these descendants of Ishmael and Esau once again to think that they can wipe out the Jews.)

9. And they went up on the breadth of the earth and compassed the camp of the saints about (speaking of the Jews who will become Christians or saints DURING the 1000 year reign of Jesus), and the beloved city: (I believe this is the earthly rebuilt city of Jerusalem and not the city of God the New Jerusalem suspended above the earth or in earth’s orbit over the city of Jerusalem.) and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. (The second and last HALF an HOUR of God’s wrath)

10. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

11. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12. And I saw the dead, small and great, STAND before God; (Which speaks of the REST of the dead being resurrection to be JUDGED) and the books were opened: and ANOTHER book was opened, which is the book of life: (Which is NOT called the Lamb’s book of life for some reason unknown to me at this present time but it does seem to be a DIFFERENT book of life other than the Lamb’s book of life.) and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13. And the sea (The sea speaks of the wicked evil spirits and the fallen angels held in chains unto this coming day of their judgment. The sea also speaks of the holding place of the wicked dead. It could also include the wicked that died at sea) gave up the dead which was in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which was in them: (Or the graves gave up the dead that was in them) and they were judged every man according to their works. (Remember that the age of man during the 1000 year reign of Jesus will be 1000 years of age so there will be many generations of the RIGHTEOUS who die DURING the Millennium who will be resurrected along with the wicked from the time of Adam to that time at the end of the 1000 years and the final war.)

14. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (The last enemy to be destroyed is DEATH itself so that in the ages to come there will be no more death, no more sea or evil spirits, no more Satan, or devils, or wicked people.)

15. And whosoever was NOT found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

I know that to some carnal Christians or to those who are Christians in name only that it may sound like the Millennium will be a second chance so to speak. But first, you have to be ALIVE AFTER the WRATH of God and call upon Jesus to be saved alive just to enter into outer darkness in the world to come. And then you have to live your entire life serving the Jews unless you are a natural-born Jew who has made it that far.

Then those in their mortal bodies in the world to come will be given just ONE time to sin and to repent for disobeying the commandment to keep the feast of tabernacles. The penalty for breaking that commandment just that ONE time will be no rain that year on your crops. And the next time you disobey it is OVER for you.

So you can go for that so-called second chance if you want but as I said before, trust me when I say you will want to be one of the BLESSED who will take part in the FIRST resurrection BEFORE the Millennium and the only way to do that is to be found that good and faithful servant IN Jesus Christ NOW in the PRESENT world BEFORE Jesus returns.

SECTION TWO

Here in section two, we will take a look at the verses that teach us that Jesus will be ruling FOR Yahweh as the Lord of the SABBATH while Yahweh RESTS during that yet future 1000 year long SEVENTH day.

Let us begin with John 12:34-41.

“The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abides forever: and how say you, The Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man? (So these Jews who had been taught only ONE side of the coin so to speak could not believe in Jesus as their Messiah because they had it FIXED in their minds that he would live forever as their King.)

35. Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not whither he goes.

36. While you have light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

37. But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

38. THAT (Or so that) the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the ARM of the Lord been revealed? (So the ARM of the Lord is speaking of Jesus as being the ARM of Yahweh to whom only those who believed as he revealed to them)

39. Therefore they could not believe, because that Isaiah said again,

40. He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. (This means that because they kept rejecting the truth that Jesus is their Messiah that God allowed their hearts to be hardened)

41. These things said Isaiah when he saw his glory, and spake of him.”

Now let us read in Isaiah where the Lord’s ARM shall rule FOR him.

Please read Isaiah 40:10.

“O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up INTO the high mountain; (Speaking of the rapture, or the church as going INTO the CITY of God to rule and reign WITH Jesus) O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! (This speaks of the sealed 144,000 Jews to be bold to speak to the other REMNANT of Jews that the highly exalted Son of man Jesus will be their God during the Millennium ruling for Yahweh.)

10. Behold, the Lord GOD (Or Yahweh the Almighty God) will come with strong hand, and his ARM (The Son of MAN Jesus, your God the visible IMAGE OF THE God) shall rule FOR him (Or FOR Yahweh): behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. (All power and authority has been given to the now highly exalted Son of MAN Jesus to give eternal life to those found worthy)

11. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”

Matthew 13:6-8.

“But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

7. But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless.

8. For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.”

Jesus is not talking about being Lord of the weekly Sabbath day but rather being the Lord of lords and the King of kings of the 1000 year-long Sabbath day of Yahweh speaking of his reign in the world to come.

Jesus will have the FIRST dominion over the kingdom of Almighty God. And then Jesus will commit the kingdom back into the hands of the Father after this first dominion.

Micah 4:7-13.

“And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even forever.

8. And you, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, unto YOU shall it come, even the FIRST dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

9. Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Is your counsellor perished? For pangs have taken you as a woman in travail.

10. Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for NOW shall you go forth out of the city, and you shall dwell in the field, and you shall go even to Babylon; there shall you be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

11. Now also many nations are gathered against you, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.

12. But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.

13. Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: and you shall beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.”

SECTION THREE

Here in section three, I will repeat the list of the order of the events and then just give the scripture references for you to look up for yourself. Or you can read the studies that I have written on the end times, the rapture, the great tribulation, the wrath of God, the second coming of Jesus and the verse by verse study on the book of Revelation for all those verses written out for you and explained.

#1. The abomination of desolation will be when Jerusalem is surrounded by ARMIES.

#3. At the fullness of time which only the Father knows he will send his Son to DELIVER a REMNANT of Jews and the Christians who have survived the 3 ½ years of the great tribulation. This deliverance is called the RAPTURE of the church but ONLY the Faithful Christians both dead and alive will be granted the right to receive eternal life. This is also called the FIRST resurrection. The saints are already judged to be worthy to take part in this FIRST resurrection. That is why ONLY the good and faithful Christians will receive eternal life to rule and reign WITH Jesus during the Millennium IN the CITY of God. The remnant of Jews will be saved alive during the WRATH of God and they will remain on the surface of the earth.

#6. Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for 1000 years.

#7. The Millennium begins and will last for 1000 years. We will discuss what happens during the Millennium when we get to the Scriptures.

#8. Satan will be loosed from his chains and ascend out of the bottomless pit and go about to deceive the nations one final time to make WAR against God’s people.

#9. Those of the nations beat the farming tools into weapons of war and seek to make war against the Jews and the city of God.

#10. The fire of God’s final part of his wrath will come down out of heaven and devour those who are making war against God’s people the Jews. This is when I personally believe Jesus will commit the kingdom back into his Father’s hand and Yahweh will cease from his 1000 year long day of REST to create the new heavens and the new earth.

#11. The second and final resurrection takes place where the REST of the dead are resurrected to be judged at the white throne judgment. All the wicked from Adam to that time of the end of the last war and the righteous who died during the Millennium will be resurrected and judged. And just like at the coming of Jesus before the Millennium there will also be living righteous who have accepted Jesus as their savior at the end of the Millennium as well.

#12. ANOTHER book of life will be opened and anyone NOT found in this other book of life will be cast into the lake of fire to be destroyed both their body and their soul and THEN God will separate his life-giving spirit from the soul of the wicked only and THEN the spirit of God will RETURN to Yahweh and the wicked shall never rise again. There will be no more wickedness from then on into eternity future.

#13. Yahweh will create a new heaven and a new earth because the old heaven and the old earth passed away during the final part of his wrath.

#14. Then the city of God the New Jerusalem will come down from out of heaven to rest upon the new earth and Yahweh will dwell on the new earth with his new creation of righteousness.
