The “Aleph” is the FIRST letter of the Hebrew alphabet like the Greek letter “Alpha” is the FIRST letter of the Greek alphabet. And the “Tav” is the LAST letter of the Hebrew alphabet like the Greek letter “Omega” is the LAST letter of the Greek Alphabet. And in Revelation 22:13 Jesus said that he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the FIRST and the LAST. Revelation 22:13. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the FIRST and the LAST.” In other words, in the Hebrew language, Jesus would have said, “I am the Aleph and the Tav, the beginning and the end of the Hebrew alphabet, I am the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet.” And in John 5:39, Jesus said that the Scriptures TESTIFY of him. Please read John 5:39-47. “Search the Scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY of me. (In other words, the Scriptures give us WITNESSES hidden in them of Jesus being the FULFILLMENT OF the Scriptures. And in the light of the Aleph and Tav, the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet, verse 39 here is a clue to SEARCH the Scriptures for the untranslated Aleph and Tav because the Aleph and Tav TESTIFY of Jesus) 40. And you will not come to me, that you might have life. (But some of the children of Israel did not believe that Jesus is the one prophesied in the Scriptures) 41. I do not receive honor from men. 42. But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you. 43. I have come in my Father's name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. 44. How can you believe, which receives honor one of another, and does not seek the honor that comes from God only? 45. Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust. (Jesus is teaching us to SEARCH the Scriptures that were written by the hand of Moses because hidden in those verses of Scripture are the Aleph and the Tav which give WITNESS to Jesus as being the one who FULFILLED the Scriptures. Jesus fulfilled not only the Scriptures that Moses wrote in the LAW by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit but Jesus also fulfilled all the law AND the prophets, according to Matthew 5:17-19) 46. For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. (In other words, IF you TRULY believe the teachings of Moses under the Old Covenant written in the Old Testament, then you will believe the teachings of Jesus under the New Covenant written in the New Testament, according to Deuteronomy 18:15-19) 47. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words?” So then, Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible but in this series of studies we will focus only on the hidden Aleph and Tav in the verses of Scripture with the word “Sabbath”, the word commandment in the SINGULAR, and the word commandments in the plural in them. To read part 1 of this series please read the study Dd-16. THE SABBATH AND THE ALEPH TAV! Part 1 And in part three of this study on the Aleph and the Tav we will focus on the Scriptures with the Aleph and the Tav connected to the word “COMMANDMENTS” of God in the plural. I will leave the link to part three at the end of part two of this series of studies on the Aleph and the Tav, the FIRST and the LAST. Exodus 25:22. “And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) of all things which I will give you in COMMANDMENT (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) unto the children of Israel.” Exodus 34:32. “And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in COMMANDMENT (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.” Deuteronomy 1:3. “And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in COMMANDMENT (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) unto them;” Deuteronomy 1:26. “Notwithstanding you would not go up, but rebelled against (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT (In the SINGULAR which is prophetically speaking of the one commandment to believe in Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) of the LORD your God:” Deuteronomy 1:43.
“So I spoke unto you; and you would not hear, but rebelled against (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.” Deuteronomy 9:23. “Likewise, (Or another prophetic example of the rebellion of the children of Israel was) when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, (Which means “desert of a fugitive or wanderer in the wilderness”. In other words, the children of Israel were wavering in faith and they were in unbelief. So God is saying to leave your unbelief) saying, Go up and possess (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the land which have given you; then you rebelled against (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT of the LORD your God, and you believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.” So then, possessing the promised “land” is a prophetic shadow of entering into REST in Messiah Jesus. But the children of Israel as a whole rebelled against the ONE COMMANDMENT that can save them. They rejected the VOICE or the words of Jesus at his first coming to be saved. Joshua 1:18. “Whosoever he be that doth rebel against (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) your COMMANDMENT, and will not hearken unto (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) your words in all that you command him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.” Joshua 22:1-5. “Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, 2. And said unto them, You have kept (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, (The children of Israel that came out of the land of Egypt and NOT the fathers of the children of Israel) and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you: 3. You have not left your (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God. 4. And NOW the LORD your God has given REST unto your brethren, as he PROMISED them: (Again, the children of entering into the promised “land” was a SHADOW of entering into God’s true promised REST in Messiah Jesus for holiness and righteousness) therefore, now return you, (Or therefore you children of Israel in this present day after the resurrection of Jesus TURN YOU) and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan. (Just like Jesus expounded or explained all of the Scriptures that spoke of him to his disciples after the cross, Jesus will explain all of the prophecies referring to the children of Israel and how most of them rejected their Messiah at his first coming. And NOW, speaking of at the second coming of Jesus will be the time for the remnant of Jews to TURN from unbelief and BELIEVE in Jesus as their Messiah) 5. But take diligent heed to do (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT and the law, (Speaking of the MORAL law. Remember that all of the ceremonial laws contained in ordinances are SHADOWS that Jesus FULFILLED at the cross) which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Ultimately, the New Covenant is the ONE COMMANDMENT that we must keep in order to receive eternal life in the world to come. And thus, all PROPHECY will point to the New Covenant that was established in the shed blood of Jesus. In other words, His WAY, referring to Yahweh’s WAY is to walk IN Jesus and keep his commandment under the NEW COVENANT to serve Jesus with all your heart even as we serve Yahweh the Father. 1 Samuel 12:13-16. “Now, therefore, behold the king whom you have chosen, and whom you have desired! and, behold, the LORD has set a king over you. (Remember that Yahweh wanted to be their King but the children of Israel DESIRED to have a human King like all of the other nations around them. Now Yahweh put this desire in their heart to ask him for a human King so that Yahweh could SET His human Son, Jesus, to be their King. So all of the human Kings over Israel are SHADOWS pointing to Jesus as their TRUE King who will rule FOR Yahweh in the NAME OF Yahweh during the world to come for 1000 years) 14. If you will fear (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the LORD, (Remember that Jesus was given a NEW name after the cross that is higher than any other name so that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is “Lord” TO the glory OF Almighty God the Father. And that NEW NAME of Jesus is Yah and also Yahweh our righteousness) and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT of the LORD, then shall both you and ALSO the king that reigns over you continue following the LORD your God: 15. But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers. 16. Now, therefore, stand and see (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.” Remember the angel Gabriel prophesying to the Virgin Mary saying, the holy THING that shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God. Now, recall the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 1:13,14 where Paul refers to Jesus anointed as being a THING. Please understand that Paul is not implying that Jesus Christ is literally a thing, but rather, Paul is recalling the PROPHECIES of Messiah Jesus where Yahweh prophesied of doing NEW THINGS. 2 Timothy 1:13,14. “Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 14. That good thing which was committed unto you, keep (It or keep that good thing) by the Holy Ghost which dwells in us.” Now read a few of the prophecies from the Old Testament of God creating a NEW THING. Remember that there is more than just one new thing that God prophesied would come to pass. That is why the covenant that Jesus established in his shed blood is called the NEW Covenant. So let us read the verses having the words “new things” in the plural first before we read the prophecy of God creating a new THING in the singular in the womb of a woman. Isaiah 42:9. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, (Or behold the FORMER things have ENDED) and NEW THINGS do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Now, one of the former things that Yahweh ended was that He did not SHARE His glory with anyone. According to Isaiah 44:24, Yahweh ALONE and by Himself created all things. In other words, one of the NEW THINGS is that Yahweh prophesied to SHARE His glory with His ELECT in creating God’s NEW CREATURES of righthous people, according to Psalm 102:18. So the CONTEXT of verse 9 in verses 1-8 is speaking about Messiah Jesus being given as God’s NEW COVENANT of the people and for a light to the Gentiles. And the fulfillment of the prophecy clearly teaches us that God did, indeed, SHARE His GLORY with His human Son, Jesus by highly exalting him and GIVING Jesus a new NAME higher than any other name to sit at the right hand of his God and Father. Isaiah 48:6. “You have heard, see all this; and will not you declare it? I have shown you NEW THINGS from this time, (Or from this time of the Old Testament times) even hidden things, (Such as the untranslated Aleph and Tav and all of the SHADOWS, figures, and types pointing to Messiah Jesus) and you did not know them.” Now, let us read the verses with the words “NEW THING” in the singular keeping the prophecies, shadows, types, figures and the hidden Aleph Tav pointing to Messiah Jesus and the NEW COVENANT in mind. Isaiah 43:19. “Behold, I will do a NEW THING; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a WAY in the wilderness, (And Jesus IS the WAY, the ONLY WAY to the Father. Remember that the wilderness speaks of the children of Israel wavering faith being in unbelief wandering in the desert not trusting God to enter into the promise LAND to REST) and rivers (Or the living water that Jesus gives those who believe to drink) in the desert.” The keeping of the old Covenant is not the WAY to the Father. That was the FORMER thing which has been made old so that God could bring to pass His NEW THING, Messiah Jesus to establish his NEW COVENANT in the shed blood of His human Son, Jesus. Now, let us read where God prophesied that He would CREATE a NEW THING in the womb of a woman. Jeremiah 31:22. “How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? For the LORD has CREATED a NEW THING in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.” This is a prophecy speaking to the children of Israel who REJECTED Jesus as their Messiah. You see, the Jews did not believe that Jesus was born of a VIRGIN having no earthly father. But rather, the unbelieving Jews in Jesus as the Messiah believed that Joseph was the biological father of Jesus, according to John 6:42. Let us get back to the verses of Scripture having the Aleph and the Tav connected to the words “commandment” and “commandments” so that you can see that the fourth commandment is a SHADOW pointing to Messiah Jesus as our TRUE REST. 1 Samuel 13:13. “And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly: you have not kept (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT of the LORD your God, which he commanded you: for now would the LORD have established (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) your kingdom upon Israel for ever.” 1 Samuel 15:13,23,24. “And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be you of the LORD: I have performed (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the commandment of the LORD… …23. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. (And this applies to all stubbornness and rebellion against the TRUTH according to the WHOLE word of Almighty God) Because you have rejected (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the word of the LORD, (Jesus is the spoken word of prophecy of God made flesh and the Jews for the most part have rejected Jesus as being their Messiah) he has also rejected you from being king. (Samuel was a figure of Jesus. Samuel was a prophet of God and Jesus was the Prophet of God. And the unbelieving Jews reject Jesus as being their King at his first coming when Jesus came riding on a donkey as prophesied. And Saul is a figure of the Jews fearing the Scribes and Pharisees) 24. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the COMMANDMENT of the LORD, and your words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.” That concludes all of the verses with the word commandment in the singular. Now, let us examine all the verses with the word COMMANDMENTS in the plural that are connected with the untranslated Aleph and Tav in part 3 of this series of studies on the Aleph and the Tav called Dd-18.
