R-9. QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ONENESS DOCTRINE!

The following study in God’s word is a list of questions that some Christians may not have ever considered about the doctrine of the Oneness. These are honest and sincere questions that I believe every Christian should ask themselves and go to the Bible to search out the answers for themselves to see if the Oneness doctrine is Biblical or not Biblical just as Acts 17:11 and 2 Timothy 2:15 teach us.

Acts 17:11.

“These were nobler than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

So then, every Christian needs to read and study the Bible for themselves to be sure that what they are being taught is what the Bible ITSELF teaches in its entirety. In other words, what does the WHOLE word of God itself teach us as opposed to just some verses taken out of their context to try and support a man-made church doctrine that is not actually found in the Bible itself or a church doctrine that actually contradicts what the whole word of God teaches us?

2 Timothy 2:15.

“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

In other words, study the Bible for yourself by rightly discerning the word of truth so that you will never be confused concerning which church doctrines are God’s truth and which church doctrines are what the Bible refers to as doctrines of devils and what some call man-made doctrines.

Be not deceived by church doctrines that are taught with the spirit of REQUIREMENT or that must be believed in order to be saved. Some of those church doctrines are just merely man-made church doctrines that are either not in the Bible at all while others are not rightly discerned correctly according to the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

In truth, the only must be believed doctrines are how are we initially saved and what must we do to receive eternal life in the world to come.

I have divided these questions concerning the Oneness doctrine into two groups of questions. The first ten questions are simply general questions that anyone can answer from their own personal experience like what do you believe and why do you believe what you have come to believe? The second group has 27 questions that are more about what does the doctrine of Oneness teaches such as did you know this or that about the doctrine of Oneness. And the second group of questions will require you to read the Bible for yourself and doing your own research for yourself but do not worry I will give you the verses and some links to some in-depth Bible studies on each related question.

Let us begin with the first ten general questions before moving on to the next 27 questions about the doctrine of Oneness.

#1. Do you believe in the doctrine of Oneness?

#2. If you believe in the doctrine of Oneness then why do you believe in the doctrine of Oneness?

#3. Did your church denomination teach you the doctrine of Oneness?

#5. However, you came to believe in the doctrine of Oneness have you ever read or have been told that you MUST believe in the doctrine of Oneness in order to be saved?

#6. Do YOU yourself sincerely believe that you MUST believe in the doctrine of Oneness in order to be saved?

#7. If so, and you sincerely believe that you cannot be saved unless you believe that Jesus is one and the self-same being as the Father then was the doctrine of Oneness a part of the gospel that brought you to saving faith to believe in Jesus as your savior? Think real hard about this question!

#8. If the doctrine of Oneness was NOT part of the gospel that caused YOU yourself to believe in Jesus and you were saved before you ever heard of the doctrine of Oneness then why do you now believe and or teach that one MUST believe in the doctrine of Oneness in order to be saved?

#9. Why is there even a doctrine of Oneness if it is NOT a part of the gospel of salvation?

#10. Why do YOU YOURSELF believe in the doctrine of Oneness since it is NOT required to be believed in order to be saved or to receive eternal life in the world to come seeing that it has caused DIVISION in the body of Jesus Christ?

The next group of questions is about what the doctrine of Oneness teaches. And some of these questions will be asked as did you know this or that type questions about the doctrine of Oneness which you may not have thought about before.

QUESTION #1.

Do you believe that the New Covenant is DIFFERENT from the Old Covenant?

Hebrews 8:13.  

“In that he says, A new covenant, he has made the first OLD. Now that which decays and waxes old is ready to vanish away.”

Hebrews 7:12.

.

“For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a CHANGE also of the law.”

So then, we are under the NEW Covenant where some changes have been made from the OLD Covenant. The Old Covenant actually vanished or ended completely at the destruction of the Temple in 70AD so a LOT of changes have been made from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant. And one of those changes is that God now has a Son which he did NOT have in the Old Testament times before the Virgin birth of the Son of MAN Jesus.

Jesus was born under the law of the Old Testament but it was after the cross and the resurrection that the NEW Covenant became established in the shed blood of the Son of MAN Jesus.

QUESTION #2.

Do you believe that the New Covenant or the New Testament was established in the shed blood of Jesus?

Matthew 26:28.  

“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

Hebrews 9:14-22.

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, (The Son of MAN Jesus) who THROUGH the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot TO God, (Who IS the ETERNAL Spirit seeing that there is only ONE Spirit) purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (The invisible eternal Holy Spirit who alone is the Father seeing that there is just ONE eternal Spirit and the living God is Spirit)

15.  And for this cause he (The now glorified highly exalted Son of Man Jesus) is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament (Or the OLD Covenant), they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16.  For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17.  For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.

18.  Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

19.  For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book and all the people,

20.  Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God has ENJOINED unto you.

21. Moreover, he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry.

22.  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission.”

So then, WITHOUT having FAITH in the shed blood of the Son of MAN Jesus there can be NO remission or forgiveness of sins and you are not in a covenant relationship with God if you reject God so great a salvation set forth in the NEW Covenant written in the New Testament.

Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father. See John 14:6. Jesus is the ONLY name given among men whereby we MUST be saved. See Acts 4:10-12.

QUESTION #3.

Do you yourself see God’s Son anywhere in the Old Testament other than in PROPHECY and in VISIONS of the prophets seeing into the future God’s Son being brought into existence, his virgin birth, and so forth?

Please read this prophecy of God’s yet coming Son into existence in Proverbs 30:4 from a couple of different translations.

Here is Proverbs 30:4 from the Holman Christian Standard Bible.

“Who has gone UP to heaven AND come DOWN? Who has gathered the wind in His hands? Who has bound up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, AND what is the name of His Son- if you know?”  

Notice that there are TWO beings being spoken of in this verse by the last question “What is His name, AND what is the name of His Son- if you know?”

Also, notice the ORDER of the first question of WHO has gone UP to heaven FIRST before he comes back DOWN from heaven. Now the doctrine of the Trinity teaches that God the Son came DOWN from heaven FIRST to be incarnated in the flesh and then Jesus ASCENDED BACK UP to heaven but that is NOT what this PROPHECY in the Old Testament teaches. Let us read this verse at least one more time from another translation and then we will go to the New Testament to see its fulfillment.

Here is Proverbs 30:4 from the New Century Version.

“WHO has GONE UP TO heaven and come BACK DOWN? Who can hold the wind in his hand? Who can gather up the waters in his coat? Who has set in place the ends of the earth? What is his name or his son's name? Tell me, if you know!”

Now let us go to John 3:13,14.

“And no MAN has ascended UP to heaven, BUT he that came down from heaven, EVEN the Son of MAN which is in heaven.

14.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up:”

Here we see the Prophet Jesus prophesying of HIMSELF or declaring what the Scriptures testify of him to be lifted up on the cross then the just risen Son of MAN ASCENDING UP to heaven right after his being resurrected by God and then DESCENDING BACK DOWN to the earth that SAME day in the evening to appear to his disciples to show himself alive forevermore for forty days by many infallible proofs before ASCENDING BACK UP to heaven where he was before which is where he is NOW as the now GLORIFIED ETERNAL Son of MAN being seated WITH his Father on his Father’s throne waiting to descend back down to the earth a second time.

So then, the name of the creator in Proverbs 30:4 is Yahweh AND the name of his SON right now is Jesus the Son of MAN who was lifted up on the cross, died, and was resurrected and glorified by Almighty God Yahweh.

The Old Testament PROPHECIES are of God’s yet coming Son into being and NOT a story of how a so-called God the Son, the supposed second person of a Godhead Trinity, coming down from heaven to incarnate himself into the womb of the Virgin Mary to be born as the Son of Man Jesus but yet remain the fully Almighty God having two natures at the same time, one divine and one human.

The New Testament quotes the Old Testament as PROOF of this undeniable truth that there was NO eternal God the Son in eternity past as the doctrine of the Trinity WRONGLY teaches.

Please read Hebrews 1:4-6.

“Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5.  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, THIS DAY  have I begotten you? And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a Son?

6.  And again, (Speaking of the SECOND coming of Jesus or the second TIME that the Son of MAN comes BACK down to the earth) when he brings in the first begotten (Or his firstborn Son from the DEAD BACK) into the world, (Speaking of the second coming of Jesus) he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.”

QUESTION #4.

On WHAT DAY was God’s firstborn Son  BEGOTTEN according to what the Bible itself teaches us?

Please read Acts 13:30-38.

“But God raised him from the dead:(The Bible itself does not say that God raised HIMSELF from the dead but clearly and plainly states as a fact with no interpretation needed that God raised him. And the context is speaking of Jesus, the SON OF the living God.)

31.  And he was seen many days (forty days) of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

32.  And we declare (The eyewitnesses of the death, burial, and the resurrection of Jesus) unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, (Speaking of the PROPHECIES in the Old Testament)

33.  God has FULFILLED the same unto us their children, IN THAT he has raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten you. (The very DAY that God raised the Son of MAN who was lifted up on the cross from the dead was the very day that the Son of MAN was GLORIFIED to BECOME God’s, ETERNAL Son. So according to the Bible itself, there was NO pre-existing God the Son in eternity past as the doctrine of the Trinity WRONGLY teaches. God’s HUMAN Son came into existence at the Virgin birth and THEN that Son of MAN BECAME God’s ETERNAL Son AFTER the cross when HIS God and Father HIGHLY EXALTED his obedient HUMAN Son Jesus.)

34.  And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

35.  Wherefore he says also in another psalm, YOU shall not suffer YOUR Holy One to see corruption.

36.  For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

37.  But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

38.  Be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this MAN (The Holy One of Almighty God Yahweh the Father who is NOW God’s ONLY begotten ETERNAL Son the firstborn from the dead of MANY BRETHREN the BEGINNING of God’s NEW creation THE ALL of whosoever believes to be created IN Jesus Christ by the word of God the gospel of salvation) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:”

So then, the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ is that the Son of MAN was lifted up on the cross to die for our sins and NOT that God himself died on the cross Because God is NOT a man nor is God the Son of man. See Numbers 23:19.

QUESTION #5.

Does the Bible itself teach us that Almighty God the Father calls his NOW eternal Son God by the TITLE of God?

In other words, was the Son of MAN Jesus ever called God BEFORE the cross other than by the PROPHECIES concerning God’s Messiah? Please read Hebrews 1:4-9 to see what the Bible itself has to say as to when the Son of MAN Jesus OBTAINED a NAME more excellent than the angels to be called God.

Hebrews 1:8,9.

“Being MADE so much better than the angels, as he (The Son of MAN Jesus) has BY inheritance OBTAINED a more excellent name than they. (It makes no sense for an already eternal God the Son or for an already eternal God to OBTAIN a NAME greater or above the angels BY way of INHERITING that name above every other name. But it does make perfect sense for a HUMAN Son of God to inherit and name above all names BECAUSE of his loving RIGHTEOUSNESS and HATING sin. I mean THINK this through for yourself. IF SO BE that Jesus was Almighty God himself in the flesh then it would make no sense to say “THEREFORE or for this very reason of you loving righteousness and hating sin YOUR God has anointed you or has HIGHLY EXALTED you ABOVE your fellows” because the supreme God would ALREADY be above every creature of his. Plus, how could a Holy God NOT love righteousness and hate sin? It makes no sense to be rewarded for NOT even being able to be tempted to do evil.)

5.  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten you? And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a Son?

6.  And again, (Speaking of the SECOND coming of Jesus or the second TIME that the Son of MAN comes BACK down to the earth) when he brings in the first begotten (Or his firstborn Son from the DEAD BACK) into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7.  And of the angels, he said, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. (Hebrews 1:14 “Are they not all, ministering spirits, sent forth to minister FOR them who SHALL BE HEIRS of salvation?” Jesus is the HEIR and we who are his are JOINT-HEIRS WITH Jesus.)

8. But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

9.  YOU have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; THEREFORE (Or for this very reason of YOU loving righteousness and hating sin) God EVEN YOUR God, had anointed YOU with the oil of gladness ABOVE your fellows.”

What some Christians fail to see is that the word or term “God” is a TITLE just like the word or term “King” is a TITLE. The can be MANY Kings but there can only be ONE King who is the Almighty King above every other king. And in the same way, there can be many who have the TITLE of God but there can only be ONE God who is the ALMIGHTY God above all other gods that He Himself SET to be gods under Him. And since The Father is THE God EVEN the God over his Son Jesus then it is impossible for Jesus to be Almighty God himself.

God prophesied that he would make his FIRSTBORN SON a King HIGHER than the kings of the earth. And we, the BRETHREN of Jesus who are found also to be a FAITHFUL witness like Jesus, shall be made kings and priest and Jesus will be the King of kings in the world to come when we become kings UNDER Jesus who SHALL be called God of the WHOLE earth ruling FOR Yahweh the Father during the Seventh 1000 year Sabbath REST of Yahweh.

Please read Psalm 89:27 from the Bible in Basic English.

“And I will make him the FIRST of my sons, most high over the kings of the earth.”

The Son of MAN Jesus was BORN into the world to be MADE the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Lord OF the SABBATH.

Matthew 2:2.  

“Saying, Where is he that is BORN King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”

Also, notice that this verse does NOT say that Jesus was born to be King of the entire universe.

John 18:37.  

“Pilate, therefore, said unto him, Are you a King then? Jesus answered You say that I am a King. To this END was I BORN, and for this CAUSE came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the TRUTH. Everyone that is of the TRUTH hears my voice.”

The END REASON of WHY God’s Messiah was BORN INTO this world was to become God’s FIRSTBORN Son whom Yahweh would highly exalt and SET him as his King of kings and his Lord of lords over the whole earth to rule FOR his God and Father while Yahweh takes his SABBATH REST as he prophesied in Genesis 2:1-3. See the LITERAL translation.

QUESTION #6.

Have you ever considered that just like the word “King” is a TITLE that the words “God” and “Lord” are also simply TILES and NOT NAMES associated only with Yahweh the ONLY TRUE and ALMIGHTY God, THE God OF all other Gods whom HE set to be lesser Gods under himself over different parts of his creation?

Deuteronomy 10:17.  

“For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regards not persons, nor takes reward.”

Psalm 136:2.  

“O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endures forever.”

QUESTION #7.

Did you know that there are PROPHECIES in the Old Testament where God’s Messiah would one day be GIVEN a NAME his NAME SHALL be CALLED Mighty God and God of the whole EARTH?

Isaiah 9:6.

“For unto us a CHILD is BORN, (And THEN that child, the Son of MAN Jesus, is GIVEN to be lifted up on the cross just as this prophecy goes on to save after the child is born first) unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his NAME SHALL BE CALLED Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, (Or more precisely the Father of the future or the father of everlasting life. The Son of MAN Jesus was highly exalted and GIVEN the power and the authority to give eternal life to as many as the Son so chooses to give) The Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 54:5.  

“For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; AND your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel (Speaking of your Messiah that I Almighty God Yahweh shall raise up for you from among your brethren of the seed of David); The God of the whole EARTH SHALL he be CALLED.”

Again we see TWO separate persons or beings. We see Yahweh and HIS Messiah. We also see that God’s Messiah SHALL BE CALLED by the NAME or by the TITLE of God of the whole EARTH and not the God over the entire universe.

QUESTION #8.

Do you know that God’s Messiah, the Holy One of Israel, has THE God who ALONE is the Father over him?

We have already read Hebrews 1:8,9 so now let us read some other verses that also clearly teach us that Almighty God Yahweh is ALONE the FATHER who is THE God OF, over or ABOVE his Son Jesus.

Romans 15:6.  

“That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, EVEN the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ.”

2 Corinthians 1:3.

“Blessed be God, EVEN the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”

Now I know the Oneness argument where a man can be BOTH a father AND a son at the SAME time but it is NOT logical to say that my son is one and the self-same being as me. It is NOT logical to say that I am one and the self-same being as my father. The main point of these two verses is to show that Almighty God Yahwe ALONE is the FATHER and that God, who alone is the Father, is also the Father OF Jesus our Lord.

2 Corinthians 11:31.  

“The God AND Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knows that I lie not.”

So then, any Christian who wrongly teaches that Jesus IS one and the self-same being as the Father is calling Paul a LIAR who says that he lies NOT by teaching that Yahweh is BOTH the God AND the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3.  

“Blessed be the God AND Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”

Ephesians 1:17.  

“That THE God OF our Lord Jesus Christ, the FATHER of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”

In other words, the God OF Jesus equals the FATHER. The entire New Testament always clearly identifies God as being the FATHER even in Hebrews 1:8,9 where TWO separate beings are called by the TITLE of God.

Colossians 1:3.  

“We give thanks to God AND the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,”

Jesus himself clearly identifies the only true God as being BOTH HIS God and HIS Father in heaven by saying MY God.

Matthew 27:46.  

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, MY God, MY God, why have you forsaken me?”

It does not say myself, myself why have myself forsaken myself. There are TWO distinct beings where one is Almighty God Yahweh the Father and the other one is the Son of MAN Jesus who is Yahweh’s MESSIAH.

Mark 15:34.  

“And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, MY God, MY God, why have YOU forsaken ME?”

Again, it would make no sense to say MYSELF, MYSELF why have I MYSELF forsaken MYSELF. And that is what Oneness believers are saying by DENYING that God’s SON is a separate and distinct being from Yahweh the Father.

John 20:17.  

“Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended TO MY Father: but go to MY BRETHREN, and say unto them, I ascend UNTO MY Father, and your Father; and to MY God, and your God.”

Notice that Jesus tells Mary Magdalene NOT to TOUCH him BECAUSE he has NOT YET ASCENDED to the Father. This is when the Son of MAN ASCENDS UP to HEAVEN and then DESCENDS BACK DOWN to the earth that SAME day at evening time to show himself alive forever more BUT NOW Jesus is telling his disciples to HANDLE him or to TOUCH him and prove to themselves that he is NOT a spirit for a spirit does NOT have FLESH and BONES as they witnessed that Jesus has.

Some Christians argue that the Father was only the God OF Jesus while he was on the earth or that it was only the HUMAN nature that the Father was God over.

Well, AFTER the cross Jesus, the Son of MAN, was THEN GIVEN the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY and NOW the Son of MAN Jesus no longer has a MORTAL human nature and he is still yet UNDER and subject to HIS God and Father up in heaven.

Revelation 3:12.  

“Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him my NEW NAME. (Speaking of the new name which MY God GAVE to ME so that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that MY God GIVEN me a NEW NAME that is higher than any other name and that MY God has MADE me to be Lord of his SABBATH to the glory of MY God and MY Father the eternal Spirit.)”

QUESTION #9.

Think this question through for yourself by closely considering the IMPOSSIBILITY of how an ALMIGHTY God can have another God over himself?

Think hard and long about the question IF SO BE that Jesus is the Almighty God as Oneness believers teach then HOW can the Father be ABOVE and OVER his Son Jesus.

In other words, seeing that the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that the Father is the God OF his Son Jesus then how is it possible that Jesus IS the Father himself? Please read the study “VERSES THAT PROVE THAT JESUS IS NOT THE FATHER!”

QUESTION #10.

Did you know that the Bible itself always identifies the FATHER as being the ONLY TRUE God?

John 17:1-3.  

“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; GLORIFY YOUR Son, that YOUR Son also may glorify YOU: (Or that your Son may bring you glory in the world to come. Again we clearly see TWO separate persons or beings, who are Yahweh the Father and the Son of MAN Jesus, who has not yet been GLORIFIED because the HOUR of his glorification is just about to take place)

2.  As YOU have GIVEN HIM power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as YOU have GIVEN HIM.

3.  And THIS IS life eternal, that they might know YOU the ONLY true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom YOU have sent.”

This is what it MEANS to HOW we have the promise of eternal life! THIS IS eternal life to know BOTH the Father AND his Son. But even more than that. Jesus himself said that eternal life is to know ONLY the FATHER as being the ONLY TRUE God and ALSO know that the Son was COMMISSIONED BY Almighty God the Father the ONLY TRUE God.

The word translated as “SENT” means COMMISSIONED and the word “commission” means to GIVE one power and authority to accomplish the task that one is given to do. Jesus is the Lord’s CHRIST, the ANOINTED OF God; the EMPOWERED BY God for God was WITH him by DWELLING IN him. Please see the study “JESUS THE CHRIST!”

Here are some verses in the New Testament that identify that Yahweh, in the Old Testament, as the FATHER the eternal invisible Spirit, who has always existed as the SOURCE of all life. And to distinguish Yahweh’s SON whom Yahweh exalted to be his King of kings over the earth in the world to come the now eternal Son of the living God is called Lord.

1 Corinthians 8:6.  

“But to us there is but one God, the FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

We can only be IN the Father by FIRST being IN his Son Jesus. And if we do not have the SON then we do not have the Father EITHER. So then, in the New Testament, we have ONE God who ALONE is the Father but we also have ONE Lord. And all through in the New Testament the disciples of Jesus go to great lengths so that we do NOT confuse these TWO SEPARATE and DISTINCT persons for being one and the self-same God. The New Testament clearly teaches us that the Father is GREATER than his Son Jesus and that the Father is THE God OF his Son Jesus. The doctrine of the Trinity correctly teaches that Jesus and the Father are separate PERSONS but they argue that Jesus and the Father are the SAME God.

Jesus is in unity and in agreement with the ONLY true God who alone is the Father but Jesus is a separate God and a separate person from his God and Father. The only way for Jesus to be one and the self-same God as Yahweh is for him to have always been God’s eternal Son without EVER having ANY KIND of a beginning and then God could possibly be a Trinity God. But of a truth, Jesus did indeed come forth OUT FROM Yahweh but that does not make Jesus to BE Yahweh himself because Jesus clearly has a BEGINNING.

Mark 12:32.  

“And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, you have said the TRUTH: for there is ONE God; and there is none other but HE:”

In this verse, Jesus clearly identifies the ONE God as being HIS God but keep in mind that this is BEFORE the cross. The Bible itself teaches us that BEFORE the cross and resurrection the Son of MAN had not yet been GLORIFIED and HIGHLY EXALTED to be made Lord and King to rule FOR Yahweh in the world to come as yet.

So almost every single verse in the New Testament where we find the word or TITLE “God” it is always referring to Yahweh the Father unless the CONTEXT of the verse specifically and CLEARLY speaks of Jesus as being a God and Lord under the Father.

Let us read some of those verses where it is blatantly clear that the word or TITLE “God” is referring specifically to the Father alone and NOT to Jesus the SON OF the living God.

Romans 3:23-30.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24.  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is IN Christ Jesus:

25.  Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith IN his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;...

30. Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. (IN the shed blood of the Son of MAN Jesus)”

Here again, in Romans, we clearly see TWO separate persons.

Ephesians 4:6.  

“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

And as you will see shortly the WHO is ABOVE ALL INCLUDES the One God and Father being ABOVE his Son Jesus which again teaches us in simplicity that Yahweh and his Son Jesus are TWO separate persons who are both called by the TITLE of God. That is why Jesus HIMSELF clearly identifies his God and Father as being the ONLY TRUE God which we have just seen in question #10 but I feel it may need repeating for some of my hardcore Oneness readers.

John 17:1-3.  

“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; GLORIFY YOUR Son, that YOUR Son also may glorify YOU: (Or that your Son may bring you glory in both this present world and in the world to come. Again we clearly see TWO separate persons or beings who are Yahweh the Father and the Son of MAN Jesus who has not yet been GLORIFIED because the HOUR of his glorification is just about to take place)

2.  As YOU have GIVEN HIM power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as YOU have GIVEN HIM.

3.  And THIS IS life eternal, that they might know YOU the ONLY true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom YOU have sent.”

The Bible itself teaches us that the son of MAN Jesus who is NOW the eternal Son of Yahweh is the MEDIATOR between the ONLY TRUE God Yahweh the ALMIGHTY God and the human race.

1 Timothy 2:5.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God AND men, the MAN Christ Jesus;”

Why would the disciples of Jesus STILL be calling Jesus a MAN after the cross, resurrection, glorification, and ascension into heaven IF SO BE that the very disciple of Jesus taught the Oneness doctrine?

You cannot be one and the self-same being as the ONE God and also be your OWN MEDIATOR BETWEEN yourself and the human race. That is NOT what the meaning of the word mediator means. A mediator is an unbiased person who mediates BETWEEN two OTHER persons other than himself. And clearly, while Jesus is the Son of MAN he is NOT one and the self-same being with the entire human race or even just one single human being. And clearly, while Jesus is called by the TITLE of God he is NOT one and the self-same being as Yahweh the Father who Jesus himself clearly identified as being the ONLY TRUE God.

Romans 15:6.  

“That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, EVEN the FATHER OF our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The New Testament always clearly identifies the ONE God as being the FATHER ALONE to distinguish the ONE God from his Son Jesus who is also called by the TITLE of God. So we have ONE God who alone is the Father and we have another SEPARATE God who is always identified as being our ONE Lord or as our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us continue with some more verses saying the same thing.

John 8:4.  

“You do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have ONE Father, even God.”

1 Corinthians 15:24.

“Then comes the END, when he (Speaking of God’s now eternal Son Jesus) shall have delivered up the kingdom TO God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.”

It is impossible for ONE single being to commit his OWN Kingdom back into his own hands after first committing his own Kingdom which is already his Kingdom into his OWN hands. That is even more confusing than the doctrine of the Trinity.

The Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us in simplicity that the ONE and ONLY TRUE God is the God and Father OF Jesus which clearly makes them be TWO SEPARATE and distinctly different persons who work together in UNITY with each other.

2 Corinthians 1:3.  

“Blessed be God, EVEN the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and THE God of all comfort;”

Again, I understand perfectly that a single being can be both a father and a son at the same time. But it is impossible for a son of a father to be one and the same being as his father. The truth of the matter is that Jesus HAS a Father but his God and Father has NO father or God OF him. In other words, the Father is fatherless but the Son HAS a literal and true Father who is the ONE TRUE God Yahweh.

So they are DIFFERENT persons. Since the one and only true God has NO God over him and his Son DOES then they cannot be one and the selfsame being. And also Almighty God the Father has NO father and he is NOT a son of any other being BUT Jesus does have Yahweh over him as his God who is also his Father then clearly, anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear can plainly see that Jesus and Yahweh are NOT one and the self-same being. One being HAS a God and a Father and the other being does NOT have a God or a Father.

1 Thessalonians 3:13.  

“Now God HIMSELF and our Father, AND our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.

12.  And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: (Our Lord Jesus Christ is our teacher who is telling the Holy Spirit what to teach us)

13. To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness BEFORE God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

Again and again, throughout the New Testament, we see TWO separate persons where the ONE God is always identified and the FATHER and the ONE Lord is always identified as God’s SON Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 2:16.  

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ HIMSELF, AND God, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,”

James 3:9.  

“Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.”

So then, since Yahweh ALONE is always identified as the ONLY God in the Old Testament but NOW in the New Testament under the NEW COVENANT we see that there are TWO separate distinct different persons or beings who are BOTH called by the TITLE of God we have one of four choices to make? I will letter these four choices so as not to confuse my readers with the questions I am asking my Oneness brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus the Christ.

CHOICE A.

We can try and make Jesus be the same One God in ONE being in the Old Testament who is clearly identified as being the FATHER in the New Testament where Jesus is one and the SELF-SAME BEING as the Father which would then mean that Jesus is NOT a SEPARATED person from the Father?

CHOICE B.

We can try and make Jesus be God the Son as a separate person of a Godhead Trinity who has always existed with God the Father at his side being the ONE God in three separate persons?

CHOICE C.

We can try and make Yahweh be a different God altogether from the only true God who Jesus is speaking to in the New Testament by CLAIMING that Yahweh, in the Old Testament, is Satan, like some deceived Christians, are doing?

CHOICE D.

Or we can believe the TRUTH of the whole word of God by taking a CLOSER look at the PROPHECIES in the Old Testament of God doing NEW THINGS in the earth that he never did before under the OLD Covenant written in the Old Testament?

QUESTION #11.

So then, have you ever considered that in the Old Testament there was only ONE God in ONE being whose NAME is Yahweh who PROPHESIED of one day having a SON whom he would NAME Yahweh after himself like some human fathers NAME their firstborn son after themselves?

In other words, in the Old Testament, there was ONE Yahweh who ALONE and by himself created all things having no other God with him who helped him create all things. But Yahweh also PROPHESIED in the Old Testament with many HIDDEN prophecies of a future Son, whom he would exalt as a King who would rule for him over the earth, to REPLACE the angelic being Lucifer, who made WAR with Yahweh to PURSUE after God try and exalt the throne that God gave to him above the clouds to be like Yahweh. Lucifer sought by FORCE to grasp at EQUALITY with God but Jesus as being in the form of God did not even think to grasp by force to make himself to be equal with God. See Philippians 2:6-11 or read the study “PHILIPPIANS 2:6-11 PROVES PRE-EXISTENCE?”

QUESTION #12.

Did you know that God PROPHESIED that he would do NEW THINGS on the earth?

Isaiah 42:9.  

“Behold, the FORMER THINGS are come to pass, and NEW THINGS do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

So then, there are some CHANGES made from the FORMER OLD things that are DIFFERENT from what is written in the Old Testament to BECOME the NEW THINGS that God is doing under the NEW Covenant that is written in the New Testament.

And one of those NEW things is that God NOW has a SON, wherein the eternity past God had NO Son like the Son he desired to have. A son who will NEVER grasp at being EQUAL to him or try and take by force to exalt himself to be equal with his God and Father like his former son Lucifer did by deceiving one-third of the angels to make war with him. Please read the studies “UNDERSTANDING WHY?” and “THE WAR IN HEAVEN-Revelation 12!” but for now let us continue with this study in God’s word.

Isaiah 48:6.

“You have heard, see all this; and will not you declare it? I have shown YOU NEW THINGS from this time, even HIDDEN things, and you did not know them.”

Some of the prophecies of these NEW THINGS are HIDDEN from God’s enemy Satan. But they are NOT hidden from us who have God’s Holy Spirit dwelling in us who leads and guides us into all truth if we allow him to be our teacher over what man has taught us through man-made church doctrine that took centuries to develop.

Matthew 13:52.  

“Then said he unto them, Therefore, every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which brings forth out of his treasure things new AND old.”

So then, we need BOTH the treasures of the Old Testament along with the treasures of the New Testament so that we can discern CORRECTLY as to what these NEW THINGS God prophesied to come to pass are according to his word of TRUTH and not according to some man-made church doctrines.

Isaiah 29:13,14.

“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: (Remember Jesus quotes this verse and adds the NEW THING that God is NOW seeking or desiring which is to be worshipped in Spirit AND in TRUTH.)

14.  Therefore, behold, I WILL proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

So God will proceed or BEGIN his new work by ADDING something that he has never done before. Every NEW THING has a BEGINNING. But this NEW THING will be hidden from the PRUDENT people. That is to say, God chose to use the simple people to confound the wise people who are wise in themselves. See 1 Corinthians 1:27.

QUESTION #13.  

Did you know that ONE of these NEW THINGS was that God would beget himself a Son?

Isaiah 43:18,19 and verse 25.  

“Remember you NOT the FORMER THINGS, neither CONSIDER the things of OLD.

19. Behold, I will do a NEW THING; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a WAY in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. ...

...25. I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins.”

QUESTION #14.  

And BY what NEW THING did God blot out the sins of the world?

Jeremiah 31:22.  

“How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? FOR (or BECAUSE) the LORD has CREATED a NEW THING in the earth, A WOMAN shall COMPASS a man.”

So then, the NEW THING that God CREATED for the children of Israel was a MESSIAH who had his BEGINNING in the WOMB of a WOMAN to be BORN as the Son of MAN who would become the King of Israel but FIRST, he would suffer and die on the cross to blot out their sins IF they BELIEVE that he is the Christ, the SON OF the living God.

And as we know many did believe but Israel as a whole rejected Jesus as their Messiah so God turned to the Gentiles who were not his people in order to provoke his people Israel to jealousy promising them that he would turn to them a SECOND TIME.

Here is what some Bible scholars have to say about Jeremiah 31:22.

A woman: נקבה תסובב גבר [Strong's H5347], literally "A female ('one who is only a woman, not a wife, namely a virgin,' says Cocceius) shall encompass a man," or a male child. Comp. Job 3:3. Which, together with the addition of a NEW CREATION, may well be understood to denote the miraculous conception. Hence the Jews have applied it determinately to the Messiah. In Berashith Rabba (Parash 89) it is said, that as God punished Israel in a virgin, so would he also heal; and in Midrash Tillim, on Psalm 2:1-12, R. Huna, in the name of R. Idi, speaking of the sufferings of the Messiah, says, that when his hour is come, God shall say, "I must create him with a NEW CREATION; and so he saith, This day I have begotten thee." Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:21; Luke 1:34-35; Galatians 4:4

QUESTION #15.   

Did you know that the Son of MAN Jesus is the FIRST FAITHFUL Witness to become the BEGINNING of God’s NEW CREATION to be made the FIRSTFRUITS of God?

Revelation 3:14.

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the FAITHFUL and true witness, the BEGINNING of the CREATION OF God;”

A BEGINNING is a NEW THING. Jesus is BOTH the HIGHEST and the FIRST of God’s NEW CREATION the BEGINNING of God’s NEW creation the people that he prophesied that he would create in the future. The CONTEXT of this verse is speaking of Jesus as being a FAITHFUL witness to BECOME the FIRST of God’s NEW CREATION.

Please read Revelation 1:5,6.

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL witness, AND the FIRST begotten of the dead, (Jesus is the FIRST human being ever born from the dead to be given the divine nature of immortality. Jesus is the firstborn among MANY brothers and sister who will become LIKE Jesus at his coming) and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him, that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6.  And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

So then, it is BECAUSE of the FAITHFULNESS of the Son of MAN Jesus who brought his OWN will under complete obedience to all his God and Father’s will that we who BELIEVE are created IN Jesus Christ to become NEW creatures. And IF we endure unto the end and also are found to be FAITHFUL then we shall become the ETERNAL sons and daughters of God to be made kings and priests unto God and his Father AT the coming of Jesus.

QUESTION #16.  

Did you notice that the Son of MAN Jesus BECAME the FIRSTBORN from the dead BECAUSE he was found to be a good and FAITHFUL and TRUE witness?

This is what Colossians 1:15 means when it is interpreted correctly being left in its CONTEXT and then compared with the rest of God’s word.

“Who is the IMAGE OF invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE:”

Jesus became the FIRST of God’s NEW CREATURES which is one of the NEW THINGS that God prophesied that he would do,

QUESTION #17.  

So WHAT does FIRSTBORN of every creature mean in the light of the whole word of Almighty God?

Please read Colossians 1:18-20.

“And he is the HEAD of the body, the church: who is the BEGINNING (Speaking of the beginning of every new creature created IN him to become a part of HIS BODY where he is the HEAD of his own BODY. Remember that a beginning is a NEW THING. Jesus is the FIRST of God’s NEW CREATION), the FIRSTBORN FROM the dead; that in all things he might have the PREEMINENCE.

19.  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;

20.  And, having MADE peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven.”

First, notice that it was AFTER God raised the Son of MAN Jesus from the dead that Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of every creature to be made the PERFECT IMAGE of the invisible God who ONLY has immortality in himself UNTIL Yahweh the Father GAVE his FAITHFUL and TRUE witness his very own DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY to be having in himself even as the Father has always possessed immortality in himself as the SOURCE of all life.

Then I want you to notice by reading the LITERAL translation the word “THINGS” is NOT in the original text and the entire context of Colossians chapter 1 is speaking about THE ALL of God NEW CREATION as opposed to all THINGS.

QUESTION #18.  

Did you know that Jesus has become the FIRSTBORN among MANY BRETHREN by becoming the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD?

Romans 8:29.  

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the IMAGE OF his SON, that he might be the FIRSTBORN among many brethren.”

QUESTION #19.  

Now think this through for yourself by asking yourself the question of WHEN did the Son of MAN Jesus become the express IMAGE OF his God and Father?

You should know by now that it was NOT in eternity past so there are only two options left. Either Jesus became the IMAGE of God at the Virgin birth or AFTER the cross when the Son of MAN was begotten to become God’s ETERNAL Son to bear his IMAGE of the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY.

Let us read Hebrews 1:4-6 again to see WHEN the Son of MAN, Jesus, who was FIRST made a little LOWER than the angels, was MADE much BETTER than the angels BY INHERITING a NAME more excellent than any angel was ever given.

Hebrews 1:4-6.

“Being MADE so much better than the angels, as he has BY inheritance OBTAINED a more excellent name than they.

5.  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten you? And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a Son?

6.  And again, (Speaking of the SECOND coming of Jesus or the second TIME that the Son of MAN comes BACK down to the earth) when he brings in the FIRST BEGOTTEN (Or his firstborn Son from the DEAD BACK) into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.”

So it was AFTER the cross that Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of every creature to become the IMAGE OF the invisible God. Yes, it is true that the Son of MAN did indeed bear the IMAGE of God’s character of loving righteousness and having no sin before the cross but Jesus did not bear God’s nature of IMMORTALITY BEFORE the cross. For how could an IMMORTAL Son of God DIE? Will we be able to die after we receive our new glorified immortal body?

And we are now being conformed into the IMAGE of God’s SON who was made PERFECT after the cross to be made the ETERNAL Son of God.

Hebrews 5:8,9.

“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

9. And being MADE perfect, he BECAME the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;”

Being PERFECT does not always mean having no sin. According to Hebrews 11:29,40 being perfect also means being GIVEN ETERNAL LIFE.

Hebrews 11:39,40.

“And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40.  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be MADE PERFECT.”

The THEY being spoken of here are already WITH the Lord up in heaven so they have already been found to be FAITHFUL. Therefore the term “MADE PERFECT” here in this context does NOT mean to be made righteous but rather it means to be made in the PERFECT IMAGE of God which is to be made IMMORTAL sons and daughters of God where the second death will have no more power over us.

So then, being MADE PERFECT here means that THE ALL who are in heaven, who are not seen by us on the earth and THE ALL who are on the earth, will all be MADE PERFECT at the SAME time. And that time will be AT the COMING of Jesus when we who are found to be faithful at his coming shall be ADDED to the FIRSTFRUITS of God where Jesus is the ONLY FIRSTFRUIT right now. That is why Jesus is called the ONLY begotten Son because right NOW Jesus is the ONLY human being who has been MADE PERFECT to become the express IMAGE of God’s person. And we who are IN him are predestined to be conformed or MADE into the PERFECT IMAGE of God’s Son who was also MADE PERFECT after the cross when God raised him from the dead and GLORIFIED him.

QUESTION #20.  

Did you know that Yahweh NEVER said that he would NOT SHARE or NOT GIVE his glory to anyone?

Oh, I know what some of my Oneness believers are thinking. You are thinking, YES, he did and I will prove it to you by quoting Isaiah 42:8.

Isaiah 42:8.  

“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”

Now the Oneness and Trinitarian INTERPRETATION of Isaiah 42:8 being taken OUT of its CONTEXT is this; I am Yahweh that is my name and I will not ever give my glory to anyone ever, case closed, so do not ask me to share my glory with you because I will NOT, for any reason, share my glory with anyone ever.

Now IF SO BE that this Oneness and Trinitarian INTERPRETATION is indeed what Yahweh himself means by saying these words then Yahweh is found to be a LIAR because Yahweh did indeed GIVE HIS OWN GLORY to another. And that “ANOTHER” is God’s SON Jesus in whom he is well pleased.

Please read John 17:24.

“Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which YOU have GIVEN ME: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.”

Now if so be that Yahweh the Father did NOT give his glory to another then Jesus is found to be a LIAR. So then, one or the other of these verses is LYING here unless the INTERPRETATION of the Oneness and Trinitarian believers of Isaiah 42:8 is in ERROR?

I myself do not see that the Bible contradicts itself so let us now go back and read the CONTEXT so that you can see with your own eyes that it is the INTERPRETATION made by both Oneness and Trinitarian believers is in error and that Yahweh NEVER said he would not give his glory to anyone but rather said that he would not give his glory to ANOTHER. The being spoken of in the CONTEXT as being the “ANOTHER” is God’s Messiah, his ELECT or chosen one whom he would ANOINT and give as a COVENANT to the people and as a LIGHT unto the Gentiles.

Please read Isaiah 42:1-10.

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: (Or whom I have or SHALL ANOINTED him. When God prophesies he sometimes calls things as already being even though they are yet future when he gives the prophecy) he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

2.  He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

3.  A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

4.  He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

5.  Thus says God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

6.  I the LORD have CALLED YOU in righteousness, and will hold YOUR hand, and will keep YOU, and give YOU for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; (Again this is a PROPHECY of Jesus who is the SUBJECT of verse 8, the “ANOTHER”)

7.  To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

8.  I am the LORD: that is my name: (The LITERAL translation reads. “I Yahweh HE NAME of ME, HE GLORY of ME) and my glory will I not give to another, (Meaning that Yahweh will not give his glory to be so highly exalted to anyone OTHER THAN to his Messiah to whom Yahweh has given his very own NAME. This is why Yahweh warned the children of Israel to NOT take his NAME in VAIN. By rejecting Jesus as the Messiah they took the Lord’s NAME in VAIN. Vain means that Jesus was NO PROFIT or of no use to them because they REJECTED the NAME of the Lord speaking of the one who came IN the NAME of Yahweh) neither my praise to graven images.

9.  Behold, the FORMER THINGS (like sharing his glory) are come to pass, and NEW THINGS do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. (And one of those NEW THINGS is that God did indeed SHARE his glory with his ELECT, his Son Jesus. FIRST God shared his glory with his Son Jesus and then God will share the glory of his divine nature of immortality with us who are found to be that good and faithful servant IN Jesus Christ at the coming of Jesus)

10.  Sing unto the LORD a NEW SONG, and his praise from the end of the earth, you that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.”

That NEW SONG is the song of the LAMB who was slain for our sins TO the GLORY OF God the Father.

QUESTION #21.  

Do you know WHY God GLORIFIED the Son of MAN with his own glory?

“I have glorified YOU on the earth: (or I have brought to you glory and honor that is due to you) I have finished the work which you gave me to do.

5.  And now, O Father, GLORIFY you me with YOUR OWN SELF with the glory which I had with you before the world was.”

First of all, this verse is NOT speaking of some glory which a pre-existing God the Son had in eternity past, but rather, it is speaking to the PROMISE of the glory that we just saw was promised to no other one other than God’s chosen one whom he would give as a covenant to the people.

The Greek word translated as “was” also means “TO BE” speaking of the world yet TO BE, the world to come. So Jesus is saying glorify me Father with your own self to sit WITH you at your right hand on your throne in the world to be or the world to come.

In John 5:26,27 we see that Yahweh the Father GAVE his own divine nature of immortality to be having in himself even as Yahweh the Father has always possessed the divine nature of immortality in himself.

John 4:25,27.

“For AS the Father HAS life in himself; so has he GIVEN TO the Son TO HAVE life in himself;

27.  AND has given him authority to execute judgment ALSO, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”

Now the REASON Yahweh the Father gave all power to raise the dead and given eternal life to whomsoever he chooses is because Yahweh wants us to HONOR his Son EVEN AS we honor him.

QUESTION #22.

Did you know that Yahweh the Father desires us to HONOR his SON EVEN as we HONOR the FATHER?

John 5:22-23.

“For the Father judges NO man, BUT has COMMITTED ALL JUDGMENT UNTO the SON:

23. THAT (Or so that) all men should HONOR the Son, EVEN AS they HONOR the Father. He that honor NOT the Son honors NOT the Father which has sent him.”

QUESTION #23.

Now how can Oneness believers TRULY be honoring God’s SON when you do NOT even believe that God’s Son is a REAL person having his OWN spirit, his OWN soul, and his OWN will?

How can you believe in BOTH the Father AND in his Son when you claim that they are ONE and the self-same being as opposed to being ONE in AGREEMENT like a husband and wife can be one in agreement?

1 John 2:23.  

“Whosoever denies the Son, the same has NOT the Father: (but) he that acknowledges the Son has the Father ALSO.”

2 John 1:9.  

“Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has BOTH the Father AND the Son.”

How can you have BOTH if so be that is only ONE being and NOT two separate beings as the Oneness doctrine teaches? You cannot have the Father ALSO if so be there is only ONE being!

QUESTION #24.  

How can you as a Oneness believer abide in the doctrine of CHRIST or the teaching that the ANOINTING came in the flesh of the Son of MAN Jesus to give him POWER from on high when you DENY that Jesus is a SEPARATE person from the Father.

Act 10:38.

“How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth WITH the Holy Ghost and WITH POWER: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was WITH him.”

God was WITH the Son of MAN Jesus by DWELLING IN him to empower him the same way the endued with power from on high empowers us who believe.

QUESTION #25.

How could ONLY the Father know the day and the hour of his Son’s return when at the same time his Son did NOT know the day and the hour IF SO BE they are ONE and the SELF-SAME being?

Matthew 24:36.

“But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but MY Father ONLY.”

Mark 13:32.  

“But of that day and that hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, NEITHER the Son, but the Father.”

QUESTION #26. How can the Son NOT be able to give the position for anyone to sit at his right hand or his left hand if so be that the Father and Son are one and the SELF-SAME BEING?

Matthew 20:23.

“And he said unto them, You shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: BUT to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is NOT MINE to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of MY Father.”

QUESTION #27.

How can the now glorified Son of MAN be granted BY the Father to sit on the Father’s throne WITH the Father if so be they are ONE and the SELF-SAME being and Jesus is NOT a SEPARATE DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT person from his God and Father?

Revelation 3:21.  

“To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down WITH my Father in HIS throne.”

It is impossible for one being to sit at his own right hand.

The TRUTH of the matter is that Yahweh the Father highly exalted the Son of MAN Jesus to be his King of kings and Lord of lords to rule FOR him during his seventh 1000 year long Sabbath day of Yahweh the Father’s rest. And then AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus the now glorified Son of man, who become God’s eternal Son on the very day that God raised the Son of man from the dead, will commit the Kingdom back into God the Father’s hands.

In other words, Jesus will be granted the FIRST dominion of his Father’s kingdom and that first dominion will last for 1000 years. And DURING this yet future 1000 years Jesus will be ruling FOR Yahweh having a new name to be named after Yahweh his God and Father to be called Yahweh our RIGHTEOUSNESS and also Jesus shall be called God of the whole EARTH.

But AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus the Son will commit the keeping of his Father’s kingdom BACK into the Father’s hands and Yahweh the Father himself will take over to be the ONE God from that point on.

Again, during that 1000 year reign of Jesus as the Lord of the Sabbath everything will be put under him EXCEPT for Yahweh himself.

1 Corinthians 15:20 -28.

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and BECOME the firstfruits of them that slept. (Speaking of Jesus Christ BECOMING the FIRSTBORN of EVERY creature being the BEGINNING of the creation OF God’s NEW CREATION of his ETERNAL sons and daughters to become the FIRSTFRUITS unto God.)

21.  For since by man came death, BY MAN came also the resurrection of the dead.

22.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23.  But every MAN in his own order:(order#1 began with) Christ the firstfruits; (Speaking of the first MAN to be the BEGINNING of God’s creation as the first FAITHFUL witness) afterward (Or order #2 will be) they that are Christ's at his coming.

24.  Then (Order #3.) comes the END, (Speaking of the end of the 1000 year reign of Jesus) when he (Speaking of Jesus) shall have delivered up the kingdom TO God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25.  For he must reign, TILL he has put all enemies under his feet. (Like we are the body of Jesus Christ Jesus as being his hands, feet, and voice of the Father in his stead.)

26.  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27.  For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is EXCEPTED, which did put all things under him.

28.  And WHEN (Speaking of the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus) all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be SUBJECT unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in, all.”

It is IMPOSSIBLE for all these things to be if so be, that Jesus is one and the self-same being as the Father and Jesus is NOT a SEPARATE person from Yahweh the Father.

And see that the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that Jesus is indeed a separate person from the Father who is called by the TITLE of God then that means that Jesus is also a SEPARATE God from THE Almighty God the Father. But this does NOT mean that Jesus a God BEFORE the Father as being a FALSE God.

Jesus is in FULL agreement and UNITY with Almighty God the Father. Jesus will be ruling IN the NAME OF Yahweh having been GIVEN ALL power and ALL authority BY Yahweh the Father. So while there are indeed TWO separate and distinctly different Gods they are ONE in UNITY and in agreement but they are NOT one and the self-same BEING and neither are they one and the self-same Almighty God and neither are they one and the self-same Yahweh even though Yahweh the FIRST has GIVEN his own NAME to Yahweh the LAST.

Isaiah 41:4.

“Who has wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the FIRST, and WITH the LAST; I am he.”

Jesus said that he came FORTH OUT FROM God.

John 16:27,28.

“For the Father HIMSELF loves you, because you have loved ME, and have believed that I CAME OUT FROM God.

28.  I CAME FORTH FROM the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”

Jesus is NOT one and the self-same being as the Father. Jesus is NOT the Father.

I implore all my Oneness readers to take off their Oneness doctrinal glasses and read the whole word of God again.
