C-4. PROPHECIES of Jesus being the MESSIAH! The purpose of this study is to show how the Old Testament Scriptures speak or testify of Jesus or Yeshua as it is pronounced in Hebrew. The Bible teaches us that there is coming a STRONG DELUSION that many will believe because they will not believe the TRUTH in order to be SAVED. I believe this strong delusion will be different for different people, but I also believe that there will be two main categories in which this strong delusion can be found. One of these strong delusions I clearly show with Scripture in the Old Testament PROPHESYING of this event in my study “Q-7. WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT UFOS?”. I believe this is a must-read for every Christian, but for now, I want to focus on what God has laid on my heart at this moment. So then, the other STRONG DELUSION is the so-called PEACEFUL religion of ISLAM. For some of you Christians who are contemplating converting to the faith of Islam do you KNOW that Muslims do NOT believe that Almighty God has a SON? If not, BEFORE you make this fatal decision please read the study “COULD ISLAM BE THE MARK OF THE BEAST?” Now to YOU my dear Muslim brothers and sisters and as well to my Christian brothers and sisters who may be considering converting to Islam I write this study to PROVE to YOU, who are seeking the TRUTH, I want you to KNOW WHAT IS the TRUTH. The Holy Bible is the ONLY word of TRUTH because the Holy Bible is the ONLY book that FORETELLS of FUTURE events that have over and overcome to pass, which further proves that EVERYTHING else that is PROPHESIED will ALSO come to pass. Therefore, DO NOT BE DECEIVED! PROPHECIES of ALMIGHTY GOD having a SON whose NAME is JESUS! Jesus told the Jews who were not receiving his words and teaching as the TRUTH that they themselves searched to Scripture in hopes of ETERNAL LIFE and the very Scriptures themselves PROPHESIED of Jesus as their coming MESSIAH that they were looking and anticipating that he should come. Please read John 5:37-40 which teaches us that Jesus has given us the words that will lead us to obtain ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come. “And the Father HIMSELF (Speaking of Almighty God HIMSELF), which has SENT me, has borne WITNESS of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his shape. 38. And you have not his word abiding in you: (WHY? Why do these people NOT have God's word abiding or living in them?) FOR (Or BECAUSE) whom he has SENT, him you believe NOT. (In other words, they would NOT BELIEVE in Jesus because they did NOT KNOW the WITNESS that was GIVEN to them of Almighty God HIMSELF in the SCRIPTURES) 39. SEARCH the scriptures; for in them you THINK you have ETERNAL LIFE: and THEY (Speaking of the SCRIPTURES in the Holy Bible) are THEY which TESTIFY (Or speak) of ME. (In other words, the ENTIRE Bible POINTS to Jesus as the ONLY WAY to OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE!) 40. And you will not come to me, that you might have LIFE.” (That is to say, ALL those who DO NOT come to JESUS and FOLLOW his TEACHINGS will NOT OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come!) So then, the SCRIPTURES in the Old Testament speak or TESTIFY of JESUS being the SON of Almighty God and the ONE whom Yahweh CHOSE to be the SAVIOR of mankind. You see, the Jews THINK they have eternal life simply because they are the descendants of Abraham. Some Muslims also believe that because they are descendants of Abraham and ISHMAEL that they too THINK that they will receive eternal life particularly if they KILL Christians and Jews or die themselves in this JIHAD or CAUSE for their god ALLAH. Muslims THINK that the word of truth is their Quran, which teaches them to consult Christians who read the BOOK speaking of the Holy Bible, the ONLY PURE word of TRUTH. Jesus HIMSELF says is John 14:6 that he is the WAY, the ONLY WAY to Almighty God the Father, and goes on to say that Jesus is the TRUTH and that anything other than the TRUTH which Jesus teaches us from the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, will NOT lead to God. And then John says of Jesus that he is the LIFE and that ONLY THROUGH JESUS can anyone OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE. John 14:6. “Jesus said unto him, I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: NO man comes unto the Father but BY me.” For a deeper understanding of what this verse means in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God, the Father, please read the study “E-20. WHAT DID JESUS MEAN I AM THE WAY?” But for now, I want you to read in Acts 4:9-12 where we see that the NAME of Jesus is the ONLY NAME under heaven whereby or through that men or mankind can be saved. In other words, NO man or woman will be saved by the NAME of ALLAH. And NO man or woman will be saved by the NAME of BUDDHA. And NO man will be saved by the NAME of your church denomination. And NO man or woman will be saved for believing in nothing, such as atheism or being an agnostic. Jesus is the ONLY NAME under heaven whereby ANY man or woman shall be saved! Acts 4:10-12. “Be it KNOWN unto you ALL, and to all the people of Israel, that BY the NAME of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you CRUCIFIED, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11. This is the stone which was set at naught (Or not meaning anything to you) of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. (This is a prophecy of Jesus being rejected) 12. NEITHER is there salvation in ANY other: for (Or BECAUSE) there is NONE other name under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST be saved.” The Jews rejected Jesus and did not receive his words as being the TRUTH and God turned to the Gentiles in order to provoke the Jews to jealousy and when Jesus returns they will recognize Jesus as the head cornerstone, their Messiah. The Muslims reject Jesus as being the SON of God as well as rejecting that Jesus was crucified on the cross for their sins. And many other people reject Jesus because they do not simply make the CHOICE by FAITH to BELIEVE the WORDS of the Holy Bible. Simply by using mere LOGIC of the ODDS of ALL these prophecies written in the Bible about Jesus, hundreds and even more than a thousand years BEFORE Jesus was ever born, being FULFILLED by just ONE man! The first prophecy we will look at is found in Genesis 3:15, which FORETELLS that Jesus will be born of the seed of a woman. Or in other words, that the CHRIST or the Messiah, the ANOINTED ONE that Almighty God chose to be the SAVIOR of mankind would be a man, a human being. Genesis 3:15. “And I (Almighty God) will put enmity between you (Speaking of Satan) and the woman (Speaking of Israel), and between your seed and her SEED; it (This enmity, speaking of Jesus the CHRIST being the SEED of a WOMAN) shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Here we see that Jesus will not only be born of a woman, as in the Messiah would be a human being but also we see that Jesus would be born in the LINEAGE of the WOMAN Israel. Part of the fulfillment of this prophecy is found in Galatians 4:4, which says. “But when the fulness of the time had come, God (Speaking of Almighty God the Father) sent forth HIS SON, made of a WOMAN, made under the law,” You see ISRAEL or the Jews were there ONLY people at this TIME in history that served the ONLY TRUE Almighty God and followed his LAW. The people who are called the children Israel by Almighty God were his CHOSEN people at the time that Jesus was born. So then, not only was it FORETOLD that Jesus would be born of a physical woman, but also that Jesus would be of the woman Israel. Now, I realize that the seed or the offspring of Ishmael also worshiped the one true God but this study in the Scriptures is about the Messiah coming forth from the seed of PROMISE which is through the seed of Jacob whom God renamed as ISRAEL. In Genesis 49:7-12 we see that this prophecy of Jesus being in the lineage of Israel even becomes more specific and FORETELLS also that Jesus will be from the tribe of Judah. Genesis 49:8-12. “JUDAH, you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies (Showing that Jesus would have many enemies that would seek to kill him); your father's children shall bow down before you. 9. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, MY SON, you are gone up ( A prophecy showing that Jesus is the SON of Almighty God): he stooped down, he couched as a LION, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? (Jesus is called the LION of the tribe of Judah in Revelation 5:5) 10. The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. 11. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: (Foretelling the wrath of Almighty God executed by his SON Jesus) 12. His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.” We see the FULFILLMENT of this prophecy in Matthew chapter 1 and in Luke chapter 3, we can see that Judah is in the line of the lineage that Jesus is born. And then in Revelation 5:5, we see that the Lamb that was SLAIN is called the LION of the TRIBE of JUDAH. Revelation 5:5. “And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the LION of the TRIBE of JUDA, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” Then in Revelation 5:6-10 we see that this LION of the Tribe of Judah is the LAMB that was SLAIN who was the ONLY ONE that was found to be WORTHY to open the seals of the book that was in the hand of Almighty God the one who sits upon the throne. Revelation 5:6-10. “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a LAMB as it had been SLAIN, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth (Speaking of the seven churches that testify of Jesus and his teachings). 7. And HE (The LAMB that was SLAIN from before the foundation of the world who we KNOW is speaking of Jesus the SON of Almighty God) came and took the book out of the right hand of him (Speaking of Almighty God) that sat upon the throne. 8. And when he (Jesus) had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the LAMB, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints. 9. And they sung a new song, saying, YOU (Referring to Jesus, the LAMB of Almighty God that was SLAIN for the atonement of sins) are WORTHY to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: (WHY? Why was Jesus found to be WORTHY to execute judgment upon the DISOBEDIENT to the GOSPEL of God?) FOR (Or BECAUSE) you were SLAIN (Or CRUCIFIED as an INNOCENT man not found worthy of death or guilty of breaking any law that demands death as the punishment. And BECAUSE Jesus was WITHOUT SIN and was CRUCIFIED without cause he was GIVEN by Almighty God as a ransom for all of mankind as his reward), and have REDEEMED us to God BY YOUR BLOOD out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10. And have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” For a deeper understanding of this subject of Jesus being the LAMB that was SLAIN from BEFORE the foundation of the world please read the study “J-1. DOES GOD HAVE A 7000 YEAR PLAN OF SALVATION?” But for now, let us continue looking at the prophecies of Jesus in the Old Testament. Isaiah 9:6,7 also FORETELLS of this coming child Jesus. “For unto us a child is BORN, unto us, a SON (Speaks of Jesus not only being a male child, but also the SON of Almighty God) is GIVEN (John 3:16 tells us that Almighty God, the Father, SO LOVED the world that he has GIVEN to us, all of mankind, his SON to redeem all who BELIEVE on Jesus and follow his teachings from their sins. But please notice the order in which the PROPHECY is stated. FIRST, a CHILD would be BORN of a woman and THEN that SON of MAN would be GIVEN to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the world): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” We see the FULFILLMENT of this throughout the gospels. But in Acts 4:24-31 we see Jesus being called YOUR holy CHILD JESUS referring to Jesus being the SON of Almighty God himself. “And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, you are God, which have made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: 25. Who by the mouth of your servant David has said (Or has prophesied), Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? 26. The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord (Almighty God), and against HIS Christ. 27. For of a truth against YOUR holy CHILD Jesus, whom YOU have ANOINTED, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, 28. For to do whatsoever your hand and your counsel determined before to be done. (In other words, Almighty God had this all PLANED OUT BEFORE he ever created mankind. Again, please see the study “J-1. DOES GOD HAVE A 7000 YEAR PLAN OF SALVATION?”) 29. And now, Lord (Speaking of Almighty God), behold their threatening: and grant unto your servants, that with all boldness they may speak your word, 30. By stretching forth YOUR HAND to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the NAME of YOUR holy CHILD JESUS. 31. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” The word of TRUTH also foretold that Jesus would be BORN of a VIRGIN in Isaiah 7:14 that CLEARLY prophesies that Almighty God HIMSELF will give a SIGN to all who believe by having HIS SON be BORN of a VIRGIN. Isaiah 7:14. “Therefore the Lord (God Almighty) HIMSELF shall give you a SIGN; Behold, a VIRGIN shall conceive, and bear a SON, and shall call his name Immanuel (Being interpreted as God with us).” We see this prophecy being FULFILLED in Luke 1:26-35, which says. “And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27. To a VIRGIN espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the VIRGIN'S name was Mary. 28. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women. 29. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God. 31. And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a SON, and shalt call his name JESUS (Which means SALVATION or the salvation of YEHWEH). 32. He shall be great, and shall be called the SON of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom, there shall be no end. 34. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be BORN of YOU shall be called the SON of God.” Now some may say the prophecy says that his NAME shall be called IMMANUEL and NOT Jesus. We see in Matthew 1:22,23 that that the Son of the VIRGIN named Mary was told by the angel Gabriel that his name shall be called EMMANUEL (Or IMMANUEL), which being INTERPRETED means God WITH us. Matthew 1:22,23. “Now all this was done, that it might be FULFILLED which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23. Behold, a VIRGIN shall be with child and shall bring forth a SON, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God WITH us.” In other words, Jesus shall become, to be called or KNOWN as a man whom God was WITH and therefore the people would know that God was with them because he sent this prophet among them. You see, Almighty God was WITH us BY Jesus being ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God. Please read Acts 10:38 which teaches us that Almighty God the Father was WITH his SON Jesus in that he ANOINTED his Son WITH his very own Holy Spirit. Therefore, God being WITH his Son Jesus would thus also mean that God is WITH mankind wherever Jesus walked in the Earth because God dwelt IN the Son of man, Jesus. Acts 10:38. “How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth WITH the Holy Ghost and with power (This is WHAT the word CHRIST means): who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; FOR (Or BECAUSE) God was WITH him (Or Almighty God the Father was WITH his SON Jesus through the ANOINTING or the INFILLING of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God).” This next prophecy we will look at is the one that FORETELLS the PLACE where Jesus was to be BORN. Micah 5:1,2 teaches us where Jesus was going to be born. Did you know that Micah the prophet wrote this prophecy of Jesus being born in Bethlehem around 700 B.C. Think about the odds of him being correct out of all the hundreds and hundreds of cities and the town even on that day to foretell of the exact place where Jesus was to be born! Micah 5:1,2. “Now gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops: he has laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. 2. But you, Bethlehem Ephratah (Genesis 48:7 teaches us that Bethlehem and Ephrat or Ephratah are the SAME), though you be little among the thousands of Judah (Not even counting all the other cities of the world), yet OUT of YOU shall he come forth unto ME that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” This passage of Scripture written by the prophet Micah teaches us several things, but the one I want to focus upon right now is the prophecy or foretelling of the birthplace of Jesus being the LITTLE town of BETHLEHEM out of the many thousands of places that he could have been born! And not only a town named Bethlehem but SPECIFICALLY the one and only Bethlehem that was in JUDEA, which was also called the CITY of DAVID. Now if we go to the New Testament and read Matthew 2:1-8 we will see the FULFILLMENT of the prophecy of Jesus being BORN in the city of David, the town of Bethlehem. “Now when Jesus was BORN in BETHLEHEM of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2. Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea (So HOW did they KNOW where the CHRIST was to be BORN?): FOR (Or BECAUSE) thus it is written by the prophet, 6. And YOU BETHLEHEM, IN the land of Juda (Or Judea), are not the least among the princes of Juda: for OUT of YOU shall come a Governor, that shall RULE my people Israel. (Yet to be fulfilled at the second coming of Jesus) 7. Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when you have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.” After Jesus was born and he was yet under two years of age King Herod set out to kill all the children under two years old so he would be sure to kill the holy child Jesus. But an angel warned Joseph in a dream to flee to EGYPT. It was FORETOLD by the prophet Hosea that Almighty God would call his SON out of EGYPT. Hosea 11:1. “When Israel was a CHILD, then I loved him, and called MY SON out of Egypt.” Jesus was prophesied ALSO to be OF the seed of Abraham and that IN Jesus this SEED of Abraham would all the families of the earth be BLESSED. Please read Genesis 12:3 along with Genesis 22:1-18 where we see that because Abraham OFFERED to Almighty God his ONLY SON that now Almighty God would legally be able to OFFER his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON Jesus so that all nations would be blessed IN Jesus Christ. Genesis 12:3. “And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curse you: and IN you shall all families of the earth be BLESSED.” Genesis 22:1-18. “And it came to pass after these things that God did tempt (Or test or PROVE) Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2. And he said, Take now YOUR SON, your ONLY SON Isaac, whom you LOVE, and get you into the land of Moriah (Which means God sees, or God has proven); and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell you of. 3. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. 4. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. 5. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide you here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his SON; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my SON. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the LAMB for a burnt offering (Or for the SACRIFICE)? 8. And Abraham said, My son, God will PROVIDE HIMSELF a LAMB for a burnt offering (Or for a SACRIFICE): so they went both of them together. 9. And they came to the place which God had told him of, and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his SON, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10. And Abraham stretched forth his hand and took the knife to SLAY his SON. 11. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do you anything unto him: for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld YOUR SON, your ONLY SON from me. 13. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. 15. And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16. And said, By myself have I sworn, says the LORD, for because you hast done this thing, and have not withheld YOUR SON, your ONLY SON: 17. That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And IN your seed (Speaking of Jesus) shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; BECAUSE you have obeyed my voice.” We read of the FULFILLMENT of this prophecy in the New Testament book of Galatians chapter 3 verses 13,14,16 and 29 which says. “13. Christ (Or the ANOINTED ONE Jesus) has redeemed us from the curse of the law, (HOW?) being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree (In other words Jesus being CRUCIFIED on the cross freed all who BELIEVE on him from the bondage of sin): 14. That the BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles THROUGH (Or IN) Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith..... 16. Now to Abraham and his SEED were the promises made. He saith NOT, And to seeds, as of many; but as of ONE, And to your SEED, which is Christ. (Or that the BLESSING of Abraham are through FAITH in the ANOINTED ONE Jesus, the SON of Almighty God who God has PROVIDED as a LAMB SLAIN for a SACRIFICE to redeem mankind back to God) ... 29. And IF you be Christ's (Or IF you be a BELIEVER and FOLLOWER of Jesus Christ the SON of God), then (Or THEN and ONLY then) are you Abraham's SEED, and HEIRS according to the promise.” Now some Muslims believe that they are Abraham's seed as well through the lineage of Ishmael, but the TRUTH of the matter is that Almighty God promised that his COVENANT would be established ONLY with the seed of ISAAC. In other words, Almighty God would bless Ishmael, but Almighty God would NOT establish his covenant with Ishmael or his descendants who some believe are the Arab people where the religion of Islam was first introduced. Please read Genesis 17:18-21 which foretells of this TRUTH. “And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before you! 19. And God said, Sarah, your WIFE shall bear you a son indeed, and you shalt call his name ISAAC: and I will establish my covenant with HIM for an everlasting covenant, and with HIS seed after him. 20. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation (Or a nation of many people). 21. BUT my COVENANT will I establish with ISAAC, which Sarah shall bear unto you at this set time in the next year.” Please notice that Almighty God does NOT make a COVENANT with Ishmael or his descendants after him. In other words, ONLY those of the seed of Isaac shall have a covenant relationship with Almighty God. That is to say, you must be IN CHRIST Jesus in order to have a covenant relationship with Almighty God, or you must be a CIRCUMCISED Jew who KEEPS every letter of the LAW of God, which is slim to none. Therefore, SALVATION is ONLY THROUGH Jesus the SON of the living God whom the SCRIPTURES TESTIFY and speak of throughout its pages. We see that the lineage of Jesus comes through Isaac in Luke 3:34. And in Romans 9:7 we again see that the promise of salvation is through Isaac, which is speaking of being through his SEED that is referring to JESUS. “NEITHER, because they are the SEED of Abraham (Or NOT simply because they are of the seed of Abraham), are they ALL children: but, In Isaac shall YOUR SEED be called (Again speaking of Jesus as being the prophesied SEED of Almighty God that would bring SALVATION to mankind).” Then Hebrews 11:17-19 teaches us that Jesus whom God raised up from the dead IS the SEED of Isaac. “By faith Abraham, when he was tried (Or PROVEN of God to be FAITHFUL), offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (Just like Almighty God offered up HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, Jesus to REDEEM all those who BELIEVE, back to himself), 18. Of whom it was said, That IN Isaac shall YOUR SEED be called (Or made to be brought forth from the SEED of ISAAC): 19. Accounting that God was able to raise HIM up (Speaking of Jesus, the SEED of Isaac), even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a FIGURE (Which means that Jesus was to be the FIRSTBORN of MANY BRETHREN, referring to ALL that BELIEVE and FOLLOW Jesus shall ALSO be raised from the dead and be given ETERNAL LIFE).” And NOT ONLY must Jesus come out of the SEED of Isaac, but Jesus MUST ALSO come out of the SEED of JACOB! It is PROPHESIED in Numbers 24:13-19 that Jesus ALSO comes OUT OF JACOB! This is a very important passage of Scripture to me, because this prophecy, which is given as a parable is spoken forth by Balaam who was asked by Balak to pronounce a CURSE upon God's people Israel and when he tried to do this, a PROPHECY of BLESSING came out instead, because Almighty God PREVENTED Balaam from speaking a CURSE against Israel. Numbers 24:13-19. “If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I CANNOT go BEYOND the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD says, that will I speak? (In other words, Balaam is saying, EVEN if you Balak were to give me all the gold and silver that fills your house I CANNOT speak anything other than what Almighty God has COMMANDED me to speak. EVEN if I wanted to curse Israel I CANNOT, because the Lord God Almighty is PREVENTING me to do so. And HERE is WHAT Balaam PROPHESIES) 14 And now, behold, I (Almighty God and his Son Jesus) go unto my people (The Christians and the Jews): come therefore, and I will advertise you what this people (Jesus, his glorified saints, and the Jews) shall do to your people (Referring to Satan's people, ALL those that KILL the Christians and the Jews) in the latter days. 15. And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man whose eyes are open has said: 16 He has said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: 17. I shall see HIM (Speaking of Jesus), but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of JACOB, (This is a PROPHECY of Jesus the COMING King who will DESTROY those nations who are KILLING the people of Almighty God, the Christians, and the Jews) and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of MOAB, and destroy all the children of SHETH. 18. And EDOM shall be a possession, SEIR also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. 19. OUT of JACOB shall come he (Speaking of Jesus, the SON of Almighty God) that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remains of the city.” So when Muslims say that they worship the SAME God as the Christians and the Jews DO NOT BE DECEIVED! Just take a CLOSE look at the NATIONS that Jesus will FIGHT AGAINST and DESTROY when he comes again to fight for Israel! They are ALL MUSLIM NATIONS. Please read the study “J-28. COULD ISLAM BE THE MARK OF THE BEAST?” and you will clearly see that ISLAM is the ANTICHRIST and BEAST system that seeks to dominate the entire world, and change the laws so they can FREELY KILL and BEHEAD all the Christians and the Jews! But for now let us continue with the PROPHESIES of Jesus to clearly and plainly show to all who are willing to seek the TRUTH that the ONLY word of TRUTH is the Holy Bible and NOT any other religious book, making the CLAIM that they are God's word. Again the main purpose of this study is so that YOU, the seeker of the TRUTH will NOT be DECEIVED by these COMING STRONG DELUSIONS and ISLAM being one of them. PROPHESIES of the SUFFERING and CRUCIFIXION of JESUS! Now Islam does NOT believe that Almighty God has a SON, which we have just seen many witnesses from the Holy Bible that PROPHESIED of Almighty God having a SON. And trust me when I tell you the TRUTH that there are many MORE such prophecies. Please see the study “C-5. 365 PROPHECIES of JESUS!” for more about Almighty God having a SON whom he SENT into the world to REDEEM mankind back to himself. But for now let us continue looking at some other prophecies concerning Jesus. Islam also believes that Jesus did NOT die on the cross or that Jesus was NOT CRUCIFIED, but that another man who looked like Jesus was CRUCIFIED in his place to make it APPEAR as if it was Jesus being crucified. In other words, Muslims do NOT believe that it was JESUS or Isa as they say in the English translation of Arabic for the name of Jesus or Yeshua, who was actually CRUCIFIED on the cross. But RATHER the Quran teaches Muslims to believe that it was someone who LOOKED LIKE Jesus who was CRUCIFIED on the cross. So then, it is to you Muslims who already follow the teaching of Islam and ALSO to you Christians who are thinking about converting to Islam that I write this study to PROVE to you that it was FORETOLD hundreds of years BEFORE Jesus was ever BORN that he would lay down his life to be CRUCIFIED on the cross for the atonement of sins for whosoever will BELIEVE and follow his words written in the Holy Bible, the ONLY word of TRUTH. Let us begins by reading Psalm 22, which has many prophecies of Jesus suffering and being crucified on the cross. I will quote a single verse or more than one verse at a time and then give its FULFILLMENT in the New Testament. Psalm 22:1,2. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? 2. O my God, I cry in the daytime, but you hear not, and in the night season, and am not silent (Or there is no silence in me).” Jesus says these very same words while he is on the cross being crucified and feeling that his God and Father has forsaken him by not answering his prayer and not coming to save him. Please read Mark 15:32-34 which clearly shows that this is Jesus the CHRIST who is being CRUCIFIED on a cross and cries out to his God and Father, My God, My God, WHY have you forsaken ME? Then read from the gospel of Matthew 27:45,46, which says. Mark 15:32-34. “Let CHRIST the King of Israel descend now from the CROSS, that we may see and believe. And they that were CRUCIFIED with him reviled him. 33. And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying , Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why have you forsaken ME?” Matthew 27:45,46. “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Then in verses 3-5 we see Jesus IDENTIFYING himself as being a descendant of Israel and that the God of Israel is his God, because in verse 4 he says, OUR fathers trusted in YOU speaking of the ONE TRUE Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who was given the name ISRAEL. We have ALREADY shown the linage of Jesus so I will only quote the three verses in Psalm 22. Psalm 22:3-5. “But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel. 4. Our fathers trusted in you: they trusted, and you did deliver them. 5 They cried unto you, and were delivered: they trusted in you, and were not confounded.” In Psalm 22:6 we read where it is FORETOLD that Jesus would be a REPROACH of men and DESPISED of the people. “But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.” Then in Isaiah 53:3 we see another almost identical PROPHECY of Jesus. “He (Speaking of the ARM of Almighty God, his SON, Jesus) is DESPISED and REJECTED of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” We see the FULFILLMENT of this in the LIFE of Jesus being REJECTED by his people the Jews. And the apostle Paul also says of Jesus Christ IT IS WRITTEN! Please read Romans 15:3,4, which says. “For even CHRIST (The ANOINTED ONE, Jesus) pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached YOU (Speaking of Almighty God being reproached by his people the Jews) fell on ME (Speaking of Jesus. In other words, whatever reproach is done to Almighty God is also done to his SON, Jesus, and whatever reproach is done to Jesus is done to Almighty God. It is just like what Jesus said to us when he was saying whatever you and I do to the LEAST of our fellowman we do it to Jesus, and whatever we do NOT do unto the least of our fellowman we also do NOT do this KINDNESS unto Jesus either). 4. For whatsoever things were written AFORETIME were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the SCRIPTURE might have hope.” In Psalm 22:7,8 we see that Jesus was mocked and LAUGHED to SCORN. Basically, they shot off their mouth so to speak mocking Jesus and they shook their head at Jesus while mockingly saying that Jesus TRUSTED in Almighty God, so let God deliver him! Psalm 22:7,8. “All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8. He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.” First of all we see the FULFILLMENT of these PROPHECIES or these FORETELLING of Jesus being LAUGHED to SCORN in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. When I said THESE prophecies I just wanted to make you aware that just because I am quoting mostly from the 22nd Psalm I do NOT want to leave you the impression that this is the ONLY place in the SCRIPTURES where the PROPHESIES of Jesus can be found. Please also take a look at some other places where it is foretold the Jesus would be LAUGHED to SCORN: Isaiah 37:22,23 and 2 Kings 19:21,22 say the EXACT SAME thing. “This is the WORD which the LORD has SPOKEN concerning HIM (Speaking of Jesus); The virgin, the daughter of Zion, has despised you, and LAUGHED you to SCORN; the daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you. 23. WHOM have you reproached and blasphemed? And against WHOM have you exalted your voice, and lifted up your eyes on high? EVEN against the Holy One of Israel. (In other words, Almighty God is stating that WHOSOEVER MOCKS or DESPISES or REJECTS MY SON ALSO REJECTS ME!)” Job 12:4 is speaking of both Job at that time and also of Jesus in the future. “I am as one MOCKED of his neighbor, who calls upon God, and he answers him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.” Now let us take a look at the fulfillment of these prophecies in the New Testament. Luke 8:53. “And they (The Jews) LAUGHED him (Jesus) to SCORN, KNOWING that she was dead.” Matthew 9:23-25. “And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, 24. He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they LAUGHED him to SCORN. 25. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.” Mark 5:36-42. “As soon as JESUS heard the word that was spoken, he said unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. 37. And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. 38. And he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. 39. And when he was come in, he said unto them, Why make you this ado, and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleeps. 40. And they LAUGHED him to SCORN. But when he had put them all out, he takes the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and enters in where the damsel was lying. 41. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto you, arise. 42. And straightway the damsel arose and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.” So I ask you the simple question my dear Muslim friends, did your so-called prophet Muhammad ever raise anyone from the dead as did this Jesus, the SON of Almighty God, has done? SHOW me the PROOF in your Quran of Muhammad raising anyone from the dead, because all I have ever read is were Muhammad MURDERED and SLAUGHTER people who would not bow down to your false God ALLAH. So NOW ask yourself this LOGICAL question. Does it not then seem LOGICAL to you that the ONE who has been given the POWER to RAISE people from the DEAD is the ONE TRUE PROPHET that was PROPHESIED to come? Who then is the TRUE PROPHET of the ONE TRUE ALMIGHTY God? If you still say Muhammad, then you are DECEIVED! What other religion speaks of their prophet or prophets RAISING the DEAD other than CHRISTIANITY? Clearly Jesus is that PROPHET whom Almighty God promised to raise up from AMONG the BRETHREN as FORETOLD to us in Deuteronomy 18:15-22. “The LORD your God will raise up unto you (Speaking of Israel, the Jews) a PROPHET from the midst of YOU, of YOUR BRETHREN, like unto me (Speaking of Moses); unto him (Speaking of Jesus) you shall hearken; 16. According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire anymore, that I do not die. 17. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. 18. I (Almighty God) will RAISE them UP a PROPHET from among THEIR BRETHREN, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth (Or Almighty God HIMSELF will tell his SON Jesus what to say); and he shall speak unto them all that I (Almighty God) shall command him. 19. And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER will NOT hearken unto my words which HE (Speaking of JESUS) shall speak in my name, I will REQUIRE it of him. 20. But the prophet, which shall PRESUME to speak a word in my name, which I have NOT commanded him to speak (Like the so-called prophet Mohammad), or that shall speak in the name of other gods (Like the FALSE god ALLAH), even that prophet shall die. 21. And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken? 22. When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has NOT spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: YOU (My dear Muslim brothers and sisters) shall NOT be afraid of him (Speaking of that FALSE so-called prophet Muhammad or ANY other false prophet).” Muslims believe that Deuteronomy 18:15-22 is a prophecy of Muhammad, but this is NOT the TRUTH, because Muhammad was NOT a JEW nor of the lineage of JACOB. Again Almighty God has NOT made a COVENANT relationship with the lineage of ISHMAEL or ESAU. The ONLY COVENANT that the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God has made with any GENTILE nation is the COVENANT that is made THROUGH FAITH in his SON, Jesus. The TRUTH of the matter is that this PROPHECY in Deuteronomy 18:15-22 is a PROPHECY of Jesus the SON of Almighty Good and was FULFILLED in Acts 3:13-24 which says. “The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, (I do not find anywhere in the Bible that makes the statement that Almighty God is the God of ISHMAEL or ESAU as alluded to by the Quran. The God of the Bible says many times that he is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus; whom you delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate when he was determined to let him go. 14. But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15. And killed (Or crucified) the Prince of life, whom God hath RAISED from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16. And his name through faith in his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know: yea, the faith which is by him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 17. And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance you did it, as did also your rulers. 18. But those things, which God BEFORE had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he has so fulfilled. 19. REPENT you, therefore, and be converted , that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. 22. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23. And it shall come to pass, that EVERY soul, which will NOT hear that prophet (Speaking of JESUS and NOT Muhammad), shall be DESTROYED from among the people. 24, Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise FORETOLD of these days.” HEAR YOU the WORD of TRUTH, my dear Muslim friends. TURN from serving your FALSE God ALLAH and BELIEVE and FOLLOW the words and teaching of Jesus the one who SUFFERED and DIED for YOU! It was Jesus whom Almighty God ORDAINED before the foundation of the world as the LAMB that was to be SLAIN as the one perfect sacrifice once and for all time for the ATONEMENT of the sins of mankind and RECEIVED by FAITH by WHOSOEVER BELIEVES and FOLLOWS the teachings of Jesus written in the WORD of TRUTH, the Holy Bible. Let us continue by reading Psalm 22:9,10. “But you are he (Or you are my God) that took me out of the womb: you did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. 10. I was cast upon you from the womb: you are my God from my mother's belly.” We see the fulfillment of this prophecy in the life of Jesus but mostly from other prophecies such as Jesus being knit in the womb and Jesus being TAUGHT by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God morning by morning. Please read Jeremiah 1:4-10, which is a prophecy of Jesus being called even BEFORE he was ever conceived in the womb of his mother. “Then the WORD of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5. BEFORE I formed you in the belly I knew you, and BEFORE you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ORDAINED you a PROPHET unto the NATIONS. 6. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak: for I am a CHILD. 7. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatsoever I command you shall SPEAK. 8. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD. 9. Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. 10. See, I have this day SET you OVER the NATIONS and OVER the KINGDOMS, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” We see a FULFILLMENT of this when Jesus was an adult and taught the people in John 12:44-50 which teaches us that the WORDS that Jesus spoke and taught were from his God and Father, the ONE TRUE Almighty God. John 12:44-50. “Jesus cried and said, He that believes on me, believes not on me, BUT on him that sent me (Speaking of Almighty God). 45. And he that sees me sees him that sent me. 46. I am come a light into the world, that WHOSOEVER believes on me should NOT abide in darkness. 47. And if ANY man hear my words, and believe NOT, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He (Speaking of WHOSOEVER) that REJECTS me, and receives NOT my words, has one that judges him: the WORD that I have spoken , the SAME shall judge him in the last day. (WHY? Why will what Jesus the SON of Almighty God both spoke and taught JUDGE those who REJECT his teaching in the LAST DAY, the Day of JUDGMENT?) 49. For I (Jesus) have NOT spoken of myself; but the Father (Almighty God) which sent me, HE gave me a commandment, what I should SAY , and what I should SPEAK . 50. And I know that his COMMANDMENT is life everlasting: WHATSOEVER I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I SPEAK.” Then when Jesus was a young child of twelve years of age the scribes and Pharisees marveled at his KNOWLEDGE of the Scriptures at such a young age. Please read Luke 2:40-52 which teaches us that Jesus grew in wisdom and favor of both God and man. “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. 41. Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. 42. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why have you thus dealt with us? Behold your father and I have sought you sorrowing. 49. And he (Or the CHILD Jesus) said unto them, How is it that you sought me? Wist (Or why did) you not that I must be about my Father's business (Speaking of his God and Father, Almighty God)? 50. And they understood not the saying which he spoke unto them. 51. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Psalm 22:11-16. “Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. 12. Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. 13. They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. 14. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. 15. My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death. 16. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they PIERCED my HANDS and my FEET.” The FULFILLMENT of the hands and feet of Jesus being pierced as he was NAILED to the cross and his side being pierced by the spear of the soldier to see if Jesus was DEAD is found in the gospel of John 20:24-27, which says. “But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25. The other disciples, therefore, said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see IN HIS HANDS the print of the nails, and put my finger INTO the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, (Into the side of Jesus where the soldier PIERCED his side with a SPEAR) I will not believe. 26. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27. Then said he (Jesus, the SON of God) to Thomas, Reach hither your finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be NOT faithless, but BELIEVING.” Then we read in Luke 24:25-47 where Jesus who was now raised from the dead appeared to his disciples and expounded to them the SCRIPTURES from Moses to the Psalms to the Prophets that spoke of how he must SUFFER and DIE and then RISE the third day, and showed them his hands and feet and did eat proving to them that he was NOT a spirit or ghost. Luke 24:25-47. “Then he (Jesus) said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to BELIEVE all that the prophets have spoken : 26. Ought not CHRIST (The Messiah the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God) to have SUFERED these things, and to enter into his glory? 27. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 28. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. 30. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat (Or ate) with them, he took bread and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him, and he vanished out of their sight. 32. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 33. And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 34. Saying, The Lord is RISEN INDEED and has appeared to Simon. 35. And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. 36. And as they thus spoke, Jesus HIMSELF stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, Peace be unto you. 37. But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38. And he said unto them, Why are you troubled? And why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39. Behold (Or LOOK and SEE) my HANDS and my FEET, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; (Or TOUCH me and SEE that I am NOT a ghost) for a spirit has NOT FLESH and BONES, as you SEE me have. 40. And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. 41. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have you here any MEAT? 42. And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43. And he took it and did EAT before them. 44. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to SUFFER , and to RISE from the dead the third day: 47. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his NAME among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” To my dear Muslim brothers and sisters can you not see that the SCRIPTURES from Moses to the prophets all speak CONCERNING JESUS the SON of Almighty God? The New Testament teaches us that it was the SUFFERING unto DEATH on the CROSS and being RAISED from the dead that the ATONEMENT of the sins of all of mankind has been made. And NOW it is up to those who have BELIEVED this GOSPEL or this GOOD NEWS to PREACH it to wherever we go so that others may also BELIEVE and FOLLOW the teachings of Jesus unto the obtaining of ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come. Psalm 22:17,18. “I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. 18. They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.” The fulfillment of the soldiers parting the garments of Jesus and casting lots for his cloak is found in the gospel of John 19:23,24 right after the soldiers crucified Jesus nailing him to the cross. John 19:23,24. “Then the soldiers, when they had CRUCIFIED Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part (Or these four soldiers parted the garments of Jesus into four parts among themselves); and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it (Or tear it into parts), but CAST LOTS for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which says, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture, they did cast lots. These things, therefore, the soldiers did.” It would not be fitting if I did not tell you about Isaiah 53, which is perhaps the most widely quoted of all the prophecies that TESTIFY of Jesus SUFFERING for the SINS of the people. Isaiah chapter 53. “Who has BELIEVED our report (In other words, none of this means anything UNLESS YOU YOURSELF BELIEVE what the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible proclaims to all who will HEAR and BELIEVE)? And to whom is the ARM of the LORD revealed (Speaking of Jesus)? 2. For he (Jesus) shall grow up before him (Almighty God) as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him (Jesus did not have beauty as man portrays beauty). 3. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not (Which we have already seen). 4. Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. 6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has LAID ON HIM the INIQUITY of us ALL. 7. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a LAMB to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opens not his mouth. 8. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken (Or Jesus was CRUCIFIED and DIED for the SINS of God's people). 9. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an OFFERING FOR SIN, he (Almighty God) shall see his seed (Or God shall KNOW who are IN Jesus Christ and have become his sons and daughters), he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be SATISFIED (Or Almighty God shall see that the suffering of his SON shall be SUFICIENT to REDEEM mankind back to himself): by his knowledge shall my righteous servant (Speaking of Jesus) justify many; for he (Jesus) shall bear their iniquities. 12. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he (Jesus) shall divide the spoil with the strong (Those who OVERCOME Satan); because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors, and he (JESUS) bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” Anyone can CLEARLY see that these PROPHECIES are ALL FULFILLED in the LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus and in his soon return to Earth to gather together a people unto Almighty God and DESTROY all those that are KILLING his people, the Christians, and the Jews. Please read the study “Ee-20. WHAT YEAR WAS JESUS CRUCIFIED?” for the passages of Scriptures in the New Testament that CLEARLY show the FULFILLMENT of all these prophecies here in Isaiah chapter 53 concerning the SUFFERING unto the death on the cross for the ATONEMENT of the SINS of WHOSOEVER BELIEVES in Jesus as their Messiah. But for now, let us continue by looking at some prophecies of how Jesus was to be RAISED from the dead. PROPHECIES OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS Psalm 16:10. “For you will NOT LEAVE my soul in hell; neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 49:15. “But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.” Then in Luke 24:45,46 we see the FULFILLMENT of this prophecy. “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to RISE from the DEAD the third day:” In Acts 1:1 we read where Jesus HIMSELF showed himself to be RESURRECTED by many INFALLIBLE PROOFS being SEEN by many for forty days AFTER he AROSE from the GRAVE, which was SEALED with a great stone and GUARDED by two Roman Soldiers to make ABSOLUTELY SURE that NONE STOLE the DEAD BODY of Jesus. Acts 1:1-3. “The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that JESUS began both to do and teach, 2. Until the day in which he was taken up (Or until the day Jesus ascended into heaven and was SEEN by his disciples as he was taken up), after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3. To whom also he SHOWED HIMSELF ALIVE AFTER his passion by MANY INFALLIBLE PROOFS, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:” And in 1 Corinthians 15:44,45 we Jesus the second Adam, Jesus being given a SPIRITUAL BODY when he was RESURRECTED from the DEAD. “It is sown a natural body; it is RAISED a SPIRITUAL body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Speaking of Jesus) was made a quickening spirit (Or was made alive by the Holy Spirit).” Jesus has been given a FLESH and BONE BODY that will never die. And Jesus has also been given the power over DEATH to RAISE from the DEAD and give them ETERNAL LIFE whosoever BELIEVES on him and OBEYS his teachings. Please read John 5:20-29, which teaches us that EVEN as Almighty God the Father has LIFE IN HIMSELF, so has Almighty God ALSO GIVEN for his SON Jesus to have this SAME ETERNAL LIFE in himself and ALSO have the power and authority to call to the GRAVES and RAISE the DEAD to face the JUDGMENT! John 5:20-29. “For the Father loves the SON, and shows him all things that himself does (Or shows his SON what to do and then Almighty God himself does the mighty works that he has shown his son to do): and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21. For as the Father RAISED up the dead, and quickens them (Or makes then ALIVE again); even so the SON quickens whom he will. 22. For the Father judges no man, but has COMMITTED all judgment unto the SON: 23. That all men should HONOR the SON, even as they honor the Father. He that honors NOT the SON honors NOT the Father which has sent him. (In other words, to all my dear Muslim readers, if you do not HONOR Jesus as the SON of Almighty God, then you do NOT HONOR the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God) 24. Verily, verily, (Or Truly, truly) I say unto you, He that HEARS my word, and BELIEVES on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall NOT come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming and now is, when the DEAD shall hear the voice of the SON of God: and they that hear shall live (The NOW IN part is speaking of the SPIRITUALLY DEAD and ONLY those who HEAR shall LIVE as in be given ETERNAL LIFE. And the IS COMING part is speaking of the DAY of JUDGMENT). 26. For AS the Father has life in himself; so has he GIVEN to the Son to have life in himself; 27. And has given him authority to execute judgment also, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN. 28. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29. And shall come forth (Or be RESURRECTED from the DEAD); they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life (ETERNAL LIFE); and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation (Eternal destruction the lake of FIRE which is the SECOND DEATH).” Verse 24 teaches us to MARVEL NOT that Jesus the SON of Almighty God shall JUDGE BOTH the LIVING and the DEAD! So then, to my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord who may be contemplating on leaving Christianity to convert to the faith of Islam CONSIDER CAREFULLY the ONLY book in existence that FORETELLS the FUTURE with ACCURACY in every prophecy. The ONLY word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, before you make that FATAL MISTAKE of choosing the FALSE god ALLAH over the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God, the God and Father of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And to all my dear Muslims brothers and sisters do NOT FEAR what man shall do to your BODY for CHOOSING Jesus as your Lord and Savior, because Almighty God will give you a NEW GLORIFIED SPIRITUAL body that will never die IF SO BE that you ENDURE unto the END to OVERCOME the LIES and temptations of Satan, the Devil. Please read the study “F-2. Is ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED BIBLICAL?” In closing I want you to know that this study is only a SMALL part of the many prophecies in the Holy Bible which TESTIFY and speak of Jesus the SON of Almighty God. Also, consider CLOSELY this prophecy found in the book of Proverbs 30:4-6 which teaches us that Almighty God HAS a SON and his NAME is JESUS or YESHUA as it is pronounced in the Hebrew language. Proverbs 30:4-6. “Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his SON'S NAME, if you can tell? 5. Every WORD of God is PURE: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6. Add you NOT unto his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.” When Muhammad believed that lying spirit that appeared to him as an angel of light calling himself Gabriel and Mohammad began to teach what this evil spirit spoke to him, then Mohammad ADDED to the PURE word of the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God, the God of the BIBLE. DO NOT BE DECEIVED by this FALSE prophet Muhammad and the FALSE teachings of Islam any longer. The Quran is NOT the true word of the ONE TRUE Almighty God of the BIBLE.
