P-1. Did God CREATE Jesus? Part 1. DOWNLOAD to SAVE study as PDF Doc to read OFFLINE. P-1. DID GOD CREATE JESUS? Part 1. This is a very important question for all Christians to answer using the WHOLE word of Almighty God, and NOT by taking verses of Scripture out of their context to create a false doctrine of devils. And thus, it is vital that we correctly interpret the Scriptures in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God, lest we are found teaching false doctrines. So then, what does the Bible ITSELF teach us in SIMPLICITY? Let us begin this study in God’s word by reading Colossians 1:15. Colossians 1:15. “Who is the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE God, the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE:” We all agree that the pronoun “who” is referring back to God’s dear Son in verse 13, which we all know is Jesus. And this verse 15 clearly teaches us in simplicity that Jesus is the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE God. Please read the study D-4. “What does, Made in the IMAGE of God Mean?” We also all agree that the “invisible” God is Almighty God the Father. And we know that Almighty God is the Creator. But what we want to know with absolute certainty is the answer to the question, “Did God CREATE Jesus?” So let us start with what we KNOW for certain. We know that a CREATURE is a CREATED being, and we know that ALL “creatures” are CREATED by Almighty God. So then, using simply logical reasoning, since the Bible ITSELF plainly states as a FACT with no interpretation needed that Jesus is the firstborn of EVERY CREATURE, then that means that Jesus is a CREATURE that was CREATED by Almighty God. I mean, how could any honest Christian arrive at any other conclusion other than a CREATURE being a CREATION of God? And Jesus is clearly identified as being a CREATURE. This word also means CREATION as well. And an IMAGE of something is NOT the actual something. But rather, an image is a REFLECTION of the actual something. Again, please read the study D-4. “What does, Made in the IMAGE of God Mean?” Now that we know for certain that Jesus is a CREATURE and that all creatures are created by God, then the question now becomes WHEN did Jesus become the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE? The way I see it is that we have only TWO possible choices or when Jesus became the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE God to become the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE. Choice #1. Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE in the eternity past before God created anything else. Choice #2. Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE after the cross and resurrection to become the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD, the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN. Now, the Jehovah’s Witnesses believe choice #1, which again is that God created Jesus in the eternity past as His FIRST Creation. And their logical line of reason is the question, “How could Jesus be the firstborn of EVERY creature, unless he was born BEFORE any other creature was created by God? And that is good sound logic, but what the Jehovah’s Witnesses Christians have failed to understand is that God is still in the process of CREATING His NEW creation of RIGHTEOUS CREATURES. And thus, Jesus is the FIRST of God’s RIGHTEOUS NEW CREATURES. Please read Psalm 102:18. “This shall be written for the generation to come: and the PEOPLE which SHALL be CREATED shall praise the LORD.” This is a PROPHECY foretelling of God’s NEW CREATURES created in Jesus the Christ, the Son of the living God who shall give PRAISE to Almighty God who created them in His dear Son, Jesus. And, according to the prophecy in Psalm 22:22, Jesus will ALSO give PRAISE to Yahweh in the CONGREGATION of his BRETHREN. In other words, whosoever BELIEVES in Jesus as their Lord and Savior are CREATED as God NEW CREATURES of righteousness in His dear Son, Jesus. And the simple logical reasoning is that there must be a BEGINNING to God’s CREATION no matter if it is God’s original creation in the eternity past, or whether it is God’s NEW creation that BEGAN with Jesus as being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God. In other words, there must be a FIRST creation raised from the DEAD and given the divine nature of immortality to never die again, and the Son of MAN. And, according to John 5:26,27, Jesus was that FIRST human Son of God raised from the dead and GIVEN life to be having in himself even as the Father has always had life in Himself. And that brings us to three more verses of Scripture that teach us that Jesus was CREATED by Almighty God as a NEW creature. Let us read 1 Corinthians 15:20 first, which is where we learn that God has THREE harvests and every MAN will be harvested as God’s FIRSTFRUITS in his own ORDER. 1 Corinthians 15:20-28. “But now, Christ has risen from the DEAD, and BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of them that slept. (In other words, Jesus BECAME the “firstfruits” unto God of those who DIED by being the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD) 21. For since by MAN came death, by MAN came also the RESURRECTION of the DEAD. (Notice that the Apostles of Jesus refer to Jesus as being a MAN the same as Adam was a MAN) 22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (This does NOT mean that every single person will be given eternal life as some Christians WRONGLY teach. But rather, it simply means that every single person will be resurrected from the dead to face the judgment of God, some to everlasting life and some to eternal destruction in the lake of fire) 23. But every man in his OWN ORDER: (Speaking of the ORDER in which the RESURRECTIONS occur) Christ the FIRSTFRUITS; afterward, they that are Christ's at his coming. (Here in verse 23, we see the first TWO resurrections. We see the very first time that any human was resurrected and GIVEN eternal life to never die again. And THAT resurrection has already taken place, which is the resurrection of Jesus to be MADE both the Christ or the Messiah and the Lord of the Sabbath. Then we see the NEXT resurrection that will take place at the COMING of Jesus. And we also see that ONLY those of us who are believers in Jesus during this PRESENT world will be the SECOND harvest of the FIRSTFRUITS unto God. In other words, ORDER #1 was Jesus, and ORDER #2 will be the faithful believers in this present world, which will be at the COMING of Jesus. And then comes ORDER #3 or the THIRD harvest of “firstfruits” at the END of the Millennial reign of Jesus. I will highlight the words and pronouns referring to Almighty God the Father in orange, and I will highlight the words and pronouns referring to Jesus is yellow) 24. Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; (Notice how the Apostles of Jesus always refer to God and being the FATHER) when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25. For he must reign, till He has put all enemies under his feet. 26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (And death will be cast into the lake of fire to be destroyed at the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus) 27. For He has put all things under his feet. But when He says all things are put under him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28. And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also himself be SUBJECT unto Him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” Now, to me, this passage of Scripture clearly teaches us that the FATHER is God and that Jesus is the first of the FIRSTFRUITS unto God to be harvested. Obviously, the word “harvest” is not in this passage of Scripture, but most Christians understand that the RIGHTEOUS will be HARVESTED in their ORDER like the wheat in harvested and that the tares or the weeds and chaff, the unsaved sinners and the disobedient children, will be burned on the final day of judgment at the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus. So then, the two orders of firstfruits that remain to be harvested are the faithful Christians in this present world and those who will be saved DURING the Millenial reign of Jesus. But my main point right now is that Jesus is one of the RIGHTEOUS CREATURES that will INHERIT the worlds to come. In other words, Jesus is our BROTHER, the FIRST human being to be BORN-AGAIN, or REGENERATED from the DEAD to never die again. And, to me, that proves that Jesus was CREATED by his God and Father. And thus, that means that Jesus is NOT the Creator as some Christians falsely teach. The next verse of Scripture that, to me, proves that God created Jesus is Revelation 3:14, which is where we see that Jesus is the BEGINNING of the CREATION of God. Revelation 3:14. “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the FAITHFUL and true WITNESS, the BEGINNING of the CREATION OF God;” Now, ONLY Trinitarian Christians “interpret” this verse to mean that God created everything that exists through Jesus who supposedly pre-existed and God the Son, the second person of what they call the Godhead Trinity God. And they MUST interpret this verse in that way, otherwise, their whole doctrine of the Trinity falls completely apart. For you see, if a Trinitarian Christian ever admits to the TRUTH that God CREATED Jesus, then they must also admit to the TRUTH that their whole doctrine of the Trinity is FALSE teaching that is NOT of God. And if it is not of God, then the doctrine of the Trinity is the doctrine of devils. And that is a hard thing for any Christian to admit to, that they are wrongly teaching a doctrine of devils that has deceived them to wrongly believe that Jesus is Almighty God the Creator Himself. But when we truly take a close and HONEST look at Revelation 3:14, then we can clearly see that God is the CREATOR, and the FAITHFUL and true WITNESS is the BEGINNING of God’s CREATION. For you see, this verse is NOT referring to God’s original creation in the eternity past, because there would have been nothing created that Jesus was a faithful WITNESS of. And thus, this verse is speaking about God’s NEW creation of His NEW CREATURES of RIGHTEOUSNESS. And Jesus is the FIRST FAITHFUL WITNESS who BEGAN God’s NEW CREATURES that God Himself created in His dear Son, the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD to become the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN. In other words, Jesus made in the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE God WHEN Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of every CREATURE. So then, the question now becomes, “WHAT does the word FIRSTBORN truly mean?” Now, I myself study the Bible by TOPICS or subjects. In other words, if I want to learn about FAITH then I do a word search in a Bible concordance on the word “faith”. So, let us do a word search on the word “firstborn”, “firstbegotten”, first born, and “first begotten? #1. The word “firstborn” is found 117 times in the Bible and mostly refers to the first born son of people in the Old Testament. But when this word refers to Jesus in the New Testament, then we only find FIVE things that it refers to in the life of Jesus. Two verses refer to the virgin birth of Jesus as being the firstborn son of the Virgin Mary who would be called the Son of the Highest, Matthew 1:25, and Luke 2:7. And here are the other four verses of Scripture. #1. Romans 8:29. “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the IMAGE of His Son, that he might be the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN.” #2. Colossians 1:15. “Who is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of every CREATURE:” #3. Colossians 1:18. “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the BEGINNING, the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” #4. Hebrews 12:23. “To the general assembly and church of the FIRSTBORN, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,” Notice that I kept these verses in the ORDER that they appear in the Bible. First comes the two verses, one in Matthew 1:25 and the other in Luke 2:7 that teach us of the human Son of God born of a woman as prophesied. Then comes the verse in Romans 8:29 describing Jesus as the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN. This verse teaches us that God PREDESTINED all who believe to be CONFORMED into the IMAGE of His Son so that Jesus might be the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN. And then, in the next two verses of Scripture, Colossians chapter 1, verses 15 and 18, we learn WHEN Jesus was made in the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE God to become the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE. In other words, Colossians 1:18 teaches us that WHEN God resurrected His human Son from the DEAD is WHEN Jesus became the BEGINNING of the church of the FIRSTBORN to be made in the IMAGE of the invisible God. And 1 John 3:1 teaches us that when Jesus returns, then we shall be LIKE Jesus for we shall see him as he is. So then, how is Jesus now, after the cross and resurrection? The words FIRST BEGOTTEN is found 1 time in Revelation 1:5 which agrees PERFECTLY with Colossian 1:18 that teaches us that Jesus is the firstborn from the DEAD who is the BEGINNING. Please read Revelation 1:5,6. “And from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL WITNESS, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN of the DEAD, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6. And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Now, the unsaved Jews sought to have the Apostle Paul killed simply because he was teaching the TRUTH, but they rejected God’s TRUTH. Please read Acts 26:22,23. “Having, therefore, obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying NONE OTHER things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: 23. That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the FIRST that should RISE from the DEAD, and should show light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.” All Scripture agrees that Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE when his God and Father raised him from the DEAD. Here is another PROPHECY of Jesus being the FIRSTBORN Son of God that God prophesied to EXALT to be above the kings of the earth and establish His covenant with him forever. Psalm 89:19-29. “Then You spoke in a VISION to Your Holy One, and said, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have EXALTED one chosen out of the PEOPLE. 20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil I have ANOINTED him: 21. With whom My hand shall be established: My arm also shall strengthen him. 22. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. 23. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. (All of the Scriptures teach us that Yahweh is PERFORMING His own spoken word of PROPHECY and that Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of what Yahweh the creator has brought to pass) 4. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him: and in My NAME shall his horn be exalted. 25. I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. 26. He shall cry unto Me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. 27. Also, I will MAKE him, my firstborn, HIGHER than the kings of the earth. (Now, an already God the Son in the eternity past would already be higher than the king of the earth. But the HUMAN Son of God made LOWER than the angels would need to be HIGHLY EXALTED to be MADE HIGHER than the kings of the earth) 28. My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. 29. His seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.” Can you not see that everything that Jesus is and has was GIVEN to him by his God and Father. I do not teach anything other than what the prophets teach, which is what Jesus and his Apostles taught us in the New Testament. Plain and SIMPLE, Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of PROPHECY. And prophecy is the foretelling of FUTURE events. So how can any honest Christian interpret the PROPHECY quoted in Hebrews 1:5 as God’s Son always existing in the eternity past long BEFORE God ever spoke His first word of prophecy out from His mouth? Hebrews 1:5. “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I BEGOTTEN you? And again, I WILL be him a Father, and he SHALL be to me a Son?” This PROPHECY was fulfilled by God on the very day that God RAISED the Son of MAN, Jesus, from the DEAD never to die again, according to Acts 13:33,34. And the Greek word translated as “BEGOTTEN” means to PROCREATE and to REGENERATE. Here is how E-Sword define this Greek word. G1080 gennaō ghen-nah'-o From a variation of G1085; to procreate (properly of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively to regenerate: - bear, beget, be born, bring forth, conceive, be delivered of, gender, make, spring. Total KJV occurrences: 97. And one of the meanings of regenerate is to be reborn or be BORN-AGAIN. When a person first accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior they are REGENERATED by the Holy Spirit to be created by God as a NEW CREATURE in Jesus Christ. That is what the Bible means by being BORN-AGAIN. #1. Jesus is now CROWNED with glory and honor to be the head of the church. #2. Jesus is now HIGHLY EXALTED to become God’s ETERNAL Son. #3. Jesus is now MADE both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 3:36. #4. Jesus is now set at the right hand of his God and Father on his Father’s throne. So Jesus is a Prince right now, according to Acts 5:31 and Revelation 1:5. #5. And in the world to come, Jesus will be the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Lord of the Sabbath to rule FOR Yahweh in the NAME of Yahweh for 1000 years. #6. And after the 1000 year reign of Jesus, then Jesus will step down for ruling as the God of the whole earth and commit the ruling of the Kingdom back into the hands of his God and Father, according to Micah 4:6-8 and 1 Corinthians 15:20-28. So then, to me, the Jesus of the Bible ITSELF does NOT fit the teachings of the Oneness Pentecostal Christians and the Trinitarian Christians. The PROPHECIES teach us that Jesus is CREATED by God. Please, truly consider these other two prophecies of Jesus. Jeremiah 31:22. “How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? For the LORD has created a NEW THING in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.” And here is a commentary on this prophecy of Jesus being CREATED in the WOMB of a WOMAN. The emphasis in mine. A woman: [H5347], literally “A female (‘one who is only a woman, not a wife, namely a virgin,’ says Cocceius) shall encompass a man,” or a male child. Comp. Job 3:3. Which, together with the addition of a new creation, may well be understood to denote the miraculous conception. Hence, the Jews have applied it determinately to the Messiah. In Berashith Rabba (Parash 89) it is said, ‘that as God punished Israel in a virgin, so would he also heal;’ and in Midrash Tillim, on Psalm 2:1-12, R. Huna, in the name of R. Idi, speaking of the sufferings of the Messiah, says, that when his hour is come, God shall say, “I must create him WITH a new creation; and so he saith, This day I have begotten thee.” Please read the three part study called “WHEN did Jesus BECOME God’s ETERNAL Son? Part 1. But for now, please also closely consider this PROPHECY of Jesus being made God’s King of Israel. Isaiah 43:15. “I am the LORD, your Holy One, the CREATOR of Israel, your King.” The name “Israel” means “he shall RULE as God” and, according to John 18:37, Jesus said, “to this END was I BORN to be the King of Israel”. The LITERAL word for word translation of Isaiah 43:15 reads as follows. The LITERAL translation of Isaiah 43:15. “I Yahweh Holy One of you one CREATING Israel King of you.” So, the NAME “Israel” is a hidden prophecy of Jesus being MADE the King of Israel by his God and Father to be the Lord of the Sabbath to rule a God, FOR God, and in the NAME of God for ONLY 1000 years. And then after the Millennial reign of Jesus has ended, Jesus will step down from ruling as God over the earth and commit the Kingdom back into his God and Father’s hands, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, and Micah 4:6-8.
