N-4. JESUS THE SON OF MAN!

This particular study about Jesus being the Son of MAN is one of the very first Bible studies that I wrote. When I first became a Christian, I would first write down questions about different verses of Scripture. I did this because whenever I would read a verse in the Bible that did NOT seem to agree with what I was being taught by the church denomination it caused me to QUESTION what I was being taught. So I made little notes in my Bible at first. And then I began writing all these QUESTIONS I had in a notebook. Later on, God impressed upon me to organize those notes that I jotted down as questions into Bible studies for other Christians to read. And not just for others to read and study but also for myself to read over and over again throughout my life to ROOT and GROUND me in the TRUTH of the whole word of Almighty God.

With that being said, let us begin section one of this study with a few QUESTIONS. Then in section two, we will cover some of the questions and the verses of Scripture that caused me to ask those questions And in section three I will share my HEART as to WHY I believe it is important to read and STUDY the Bible for ourselves to see if we are being taught the truth of the whole word of Almighty God. And in section four I will close with my personal testimony and give some brief teaching on the two major mainstream teachings on who Jesus is according to the doctrine of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity.

SECTION ONE

DID YOU KNOW QUESTIONS ABOUT JESUS!

#1. Did you know that Jesus referred to himself as the Son of MAN nearly TWICE as much as others called Jesus the Son of God?

#2. Did you know that Jesus referred to himself as being the Son of MAN 88 times in the New Testament while others referred to Jesus as the Son of God only 44 times?

#3. Did you know that when Jesus was called the Son of God by Nathaniel that Jesus turned it around and he told Nathaniel that he was the Son of MAN?

#4. Did you know that it was the Son of MAN who died on the cross for the sins of the world?

#5. Did you know that even when Jesus speaks of his return that he still yet refers to himself as being the Son of MAN?

#6. Did you know that Jesus came into existence as the Son of MAN at his virgin birth?

#7. Did you know that God ANOINTED the Son of MAN with the Holy Spirit and with POWER and that is how Jesus overcame sin?

#8. Did you know that the Son of MAN, Jesus, did not become God’s ETERNAL Son until AFTER the cross?

#9. Did you know that Almighty God Yahweh is NOT a MAN and neither is Yahweh the Son of MAN?

Here is a list of the 88 Scripture references where Jesus refers to himself as the Son of MAN. We only need to look at a few of them to know and understand the IMPORTANCE of Jesus being a HUMAN BEING. The Scripture references highlighted in yellow are prophecies that have already been fulfilled or will yet be fulfilled, as in, Jesus will still yet be the Son of MAN at his second coming in the world to come but he will be the HIGHLY EXALTED and now glorified eternal Son of MAN whom Yahweh made to be the Lord of the Sabbath. And as you can see, that is over 43% of the verses that Jesus is called the Son of MAN after the cross or after Jesus was glorified and given eternal life.

You can do your own word search using almost any Bible concordance online by typing in the exact phrase “Son of man” in the New Testament and you will find that this phrase appears 89 times in 85 verses of Scriptures. That means that this phrase “Son of MAN” is found TWICE in FOUR verses of Scripture. I eliminated the one verse highlighted in green because it was in a parable. But I kept Hebrew 2:6 that I highlighted in blue because it is a quote from an Old Testament PROPHECY about Jesus. At this time, I am not going to list all the Scripture references for the phrase the “Son of God” but rather I will list them in the study called “JESUS THE SON OF GOD!” But you can do a quick word search on your own and you will find this phrase 47 times in 46 verses. So then, one verse has the phrase “Son of God” two times in one verse.

Please understand that I am NOT trying to demean Jesus in any way, but rather, I am simply pointing out what the Holy Spirit pointed out to ME. These are simple statements of FACT straight from the Bible and not my own personal interpretation of the Scriptures. And FACTS do not lie or exaggerate. FACTS are not BIAS. FACTS are simply FACTS and you are free to interpret the facts any way you choose. But to be sound Biblical truth your interpretation of the facts must agree with the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

SECTION TWO

GETTING INTO THE SCRIPTURES

In this section, I would like to start with Hebrews 2:6 that I highlighted in blue which is a quote of an Old Testament PROPHECY of Jesus. And those of you who are my regular readers know that I like to be thorough and give you more than enough CONTEXT so that you can be absolutely sure that you are CORRECTLY interpreting the Scriptures in the LIGHT of the whole word of Almighty God. And for that reason, I am going to quote all of Hebrews chapter 2 and add my comments within the Scriptures as you are reading so that you will know HOW I have interpreted each verse.

Hebrews 2:1-18.

“Therefore, (Or for this very REASON referring back to Hebrews chapter 1) we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, (Speaking of the true gospel of Jesus Christ) lest at any time we should let them slip.

2. For if the word spoken by (Or more precisely, since the word of judgment that was decreed TO and among the) angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; (For you see, it was Lucifer and the fallen angels as being the very reason that God created the human race a little LOWER and INFERIOR to the angels. Please read the study “UNDERSTANDING WHY?” For you see, once you understand that God is in the process of DETHRONING Lucifer to replace him with another who will never even think to take by force to make himself to be equal with Yahweh then the whole Bible will open up to you)

3. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first BEGAN to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (It is important to understand that Jesus continued to teach his body of believers through the Holy Spirit even after he ascended into heaven. And by the phrase “by THEM that heard him” we can see that the book of Hebrews was not written by one of the original twelve Apostles of Jesus. So in my own opinion, I believe that the book of Hebrews was written by the Apostle Paul or by one of his close followers)

4. God is also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

5. For unto the angels He has NOT put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. (I highlighted all the words and pronouns that refer to Almighty God the Father in orange. And I highlighted all the words and pronouns that refer to the Son of man, Jesus in yellow and in blue)

6. But one in a certain place testified, (Speaking of Psalm 8:4-6) saying, What is MAN, that You are mindful of him? Or the son of MAN, that You VISIT him?

7. You MADE him a little LOWER than the angels; You CROWNED him (Or you HIGHLY EXALTED him) with glory and honor, and (You) did SET him over the works of Your hands:

8. You put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But NOW WE see NOT YET all things put under him. (Speaking of the world yet to come, the 1000 year reign of Jesus which will be when Yahweh Himself puts all things under the feet of His Son, Jesus)

9. But WE see Jesus, who was MADE a little LOWER than the angels for the suffering of death, (THEN) CROWNED with glory and honor; (AFTER the CROSS) that he BY the grace of God should taste death for every man.

10. For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

11. For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of ONE: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them BRETHREN,

12. Saying, I will declare Your name unto my BRETHREN, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto You.

13. And again, I will put my trust in Him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has GIVEN me.

14. Forasmuch then AS the children are partakers of FLESH and BLOOD, he also himself likewise took part (Or PARTOOK) of the same; (By being MADE by Yahweh a little LOWER than the angels at the beginning to taste death) that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (So to ME, I see that Yahweh chose to create a new species of beings called the humans to be made a little lower and INFERIOR to the angelic beings in order to PROVE to all the angels that if even one MAN lives without sin then that MAN will be found worthy to be highly exalted ABOVE the angels to JUDGE the fallen angels and the world by his righteousness. And as his reward for his obedience to do all the will of his God and Father, Yahweh will CROWN him to become God’s King of kings and Lord of lords to rule for Yahweh in the world to come. And Jesus will JUDGE, Lucifer and the fallen angels worthy to be DESTROYED because they have falsely accused Yahweh the Father of creating them with a rebellious nature)

15. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Speaking of the bondage of sin and what sin brings as the result of living in sin)

16. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels, but he took on him the seed of Abraham. (Or more precisely, this verse should read because TRULY he PARTOOK not of the nature of angels but rather he PARTOOK of the seed of Abraham. And the context teaches us that Jesus was made INFERIOR to the angles which PROVES beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus was NOT equal with Almighty God in every way where neither the Father is greater then the Son nor the Son is greater than the Father as the doctrine of the Trinity wrongly teaches. For you see, the ANGELS are NOT equal to Almighty God, and Jesus was made by God to be a little LOWER or inferior to the angels)

17. Wherefore, in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, (Or more precisely, this verse should read, So then, for this very reason, according to ALL things it was OBLIGATORY that he be made like unto his BRETHREN,) that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. (For you see, it would mean nothing to Lucifer and the fallen angels for Almighty God to overcome sin and that is why it was NECESSARY for an INFERIOR species of being to overcome sin and die as an INNOCENT MAN to become the CAPTAIN of our salvation and our high priest who KNOWS what it is like to suffer TEMPTATION)

18. FOR (Or BECAUSE) in that he himself has suffered being TEMPTED, he is able to succor them that are tempted.”

And we all know that it is impossible for Almighty God Himself to be TEMPTED, according to the Apostle James.

Please read James 1:13.

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: FOR (Or BECAUSE) God can NOT be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man:”

And since we know for a FACT that Jesus was indeed TEMPTED to sin then that proves that Jesus was NOT Almighty God Himself during the days of his FLESH. We also know from the Scriptures that God is NOT a MAN and neither is God the Son of MAN.

Please read Numbers 23:19.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

God has shown me over 37 verses of Scripture that clearly prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus was FULLY a human being DURING the days of his flesh VOID of any divine nature of his own. Please read the study “37 FACTS TO PONDER ABOUT JESUS BEING GOD!” But for now, I want to show my readers who are TRULY seeking the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God that Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of God’s word of PROPHECY that came forth OUT FROM God’s MOUTH by showing you the ORDER of the events of prophecy and how that same order of events have already been fulfilled and will yet be fulfilled in the ORDER in which these events where PROPHESIED. Let us start with Hebrews 2:6-9. And, as you read these three verses of Scripture, please notice the ORDER in which the prophecies of these events were fulfilled.

Hebrews 2:6-9.

“ But one in a certain place testified, (Speaking of Psalm 8:4-6) saying, What is MAN, that You are mindful of him? Or the son of MAN, that You VISIT him?

7. You MADE him a little LOWER than the angels; You CROWNED him with glory and honor, and (And again, Yahweh crowned or highly exalted the Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross. You) did SET him over the works of Your hands: (Speaking of the world yet to come, the 1000 year reign of Jesus)

8. You put all things in subjection under his feet. (Speaking of DURING the 1000 year reign of Jesus which is when Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh 1000 years and then step down from being the God of the whole earth after the 1000 years has ended) For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But NOW WE see NOT YET all things put under him. (Speaking of the world yet to come, the 1000 year reign of Jesus which will be when Yahweh Himself puts all things under the feet of His Son, Jesus)

Did you see the ORDER in which the PROPHECIES were FULFILLED? FIRST, there was the Son of MAN which the angels were very interested in why God was so invested in the Son of MAN to VISIT him every morning, according to Isaiah 50:4,5. THEN we see the Son of MAN suffering death on the cross. THEN we see the Son of MAN being CROWNED with glory and HONOR after the cross. Then we see in verse 8 things that have not YET been fulfilled but will be fulfilled in the world to come during the 1000 year reign of Jesus as the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN, according to over 43 of the verses where Jesus is called the Son of MAN.

So anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear has to WONDER WHY the Bible ITSELF places so much emphasis on Jesus being the Son of MAN while doctrines of devils place so much emphasis on Jesus being fully Almighty God Himself during the days of the flesh of the Son of MAN, Jesus. Let us look at yet another famous “Trinitarian” verse of Scripture that is used to try and prove that Jesus is Almighty God Yahweh Himself. Also, the Oneness Christians use this same passage of Scripture to try and prove that Jesus is the FATHER Himself. And, again, please notice the ORDER of the events of this prophecy of Jesus. And also please notice that it is Yahweh the creator who is the one PERFORMING His own word of PROPHECY.

Please read Isaiah 9:6,7.

“For (Order of event #1 that has already been FULFILLED) unto us, a CHILD is BORN, (THEN comes Order of event #2 that has also already been FULFILLED) unto us a son is given: and (And THEN Order of event #3 is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED) the government shall be upon his shoulder: and ( And THEN will come Order of event #4 is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED WHEN the government will be set upon the shoulder of Jesus IN the world to come) his NAME shall be CALLED Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will PERFORM this.”

In other words, the ORDER of the events prophesied in the Bible ITSELF is NOT prophesying that God the Son will be sent down from heaven to be incarnated in the flesh and yet remain the fully Almighty God at the same time having two natures, one divine, and one human. But rather, the word of TRUTH teaches us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is a CREATED being who came INTO existence by Yahweh speaking words of prophecy out from his mouth. And Yahweh began PERFORMING these prophecies in the fulness of time at the Virgin birth of a CHILD, a fully HUMAN child void of any divine nature. Please read the study “JESUS THE CHRIST!” For you see, in that study, I will cover the verses on WHY Jesus could do things that ONLY God Himself could do. And that is one of the reasons why the doctrine of the Trinity was created by church leaders over three centuries of disputing about who Jesus is in the eyes of men. And the Roman Catholic Church won that battle. But the TRUTH always comes out in the end.

SECTION THREE

SOME MORE SCRIPTURES SHOWING THAT JESUS WAS A MAN!

Acts 2:22.

“You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:”

Acts 5:28.

“Saying, Did not we straitly command you that you should not teach in this name? and, behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this MAN’S blood upon us.

Acts 7:56.

“And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of MAN standing on the right hand OF God.”

Acts 13:22,23,38.

“And when He had removed him, He raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also He gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a MAN after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all MY will.

23. Of this man's seed has God according to His promise raised unto Israel a Savior, Jesus:...

...38. Be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this MAN is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:”

Acts 13:41.

“Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no wise believe, though a MAN declares it unto you.”

Acts 17:23-31.

“For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom, therefore, you ignorantly worship, Him declare I unto you.

24. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25. Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things;

26. And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27. That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He is not far from every one of us:

28. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.

29. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

30. And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commands all men everywhere to repent:

31. Because He has appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness BY that MAN whom He has ordained; whereof He has given assurance unto all men, in that He has raised him from the dead.”

Romans 5:15.

“But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one MAN, Jesus Christ, has abounded unto many.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-28.

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS of them that slept.

21. For since by man came death, BY MAN came also the resurrection of the dead. (In truth, God needed a HUMAN being to be His sacrificial Lamb to die for the sins of the world. And thus it is a lie to say that Almighty God Himself died on the cross. Jesus was the FIRST human being to be given the divine nature of immortality to BECOME the FIRSTFRUITS unto God, as in, new creatures created by the Father in Jesus to inherit the worlds to come)

22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23. But every MAN in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. (Again, Jesus was the FIRST human being to be resurrected AND GIVEN eternal life never to die again. THEN WE who are in Jesus Christ in the present world will be ORDER #2. To receive eternal life AT the second coming of Jesus)

24. Then comes the end, (Or then comes the THIRD and final harvest of FIRSTFRUITS unto God at the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus) WHEN he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, EVEN the Father; when He (Speaking of Yahweh the Father the ONLY TRUE God) shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25. For he (Speaking of the now glorified Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross) must reign, till He has put all enemies under his feet.

26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (See Revelation 20 which teaches us that death and hell will be destroyed in the Lake of Fire after the 1000 year reign of Jesus has ENDED)

27. For He has put all things under his feet. But when He says all things are put under him, it is manifest (Or it must be CLEARLY understood) that He is excepted, which did put all things under him. (In other words, Paul is making sure that we understand WHO Jesus is and WHO Almighty God the Father is. Paul is making sure that we know and understand that Jesus will always be UNDER and SUBJECT to his God and Father even during the world to come when Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh as the Lord of the Sabbath of Yahweh’s seventh day of rest that was PROPHESIED in Genesis 2:1-3)

28. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto Him that put all things under him, that God (EVEN the FATHER) may be all in all.”

1 Corinthians 15:44-49.

“It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (In other words, Jesus was SOWN to be a natural human mortal body FIRST and then the Son of MAN, Jesus, was raised from the dead and given a spiritual body which simply means a heavenly IMMORTAL body. Keep reading the CONTEXT)

45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (In other words, Jesus was resurrected and GIVEN eternal life to be having in himself. AND Jesus was ALSO given the power and the authority from Yahweh his God and Father to now give eternal life to whosoever Jesus judges to be WORTHY to receive eternal life)

46. Howbeit, (Or please know and understand) that was NOT first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. (In other words, Paul is making sure that we understand that Jesus did NOT first pre-exist as an eternal Spirit being. But rather, the NATURAL human body came FIRST, and THEN the spiritual body comes after we overcome sin)

47. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second MAN is the Lord from heaven. (Or more precisely, the second MAN is our Lord Jesus Christ whose ORIGIN is from heaven. Meaning that Jesus had no earthly father and that Jesus is the word of God made flesh whose END was to be MADE both Christ and Lord of lords by Yahweh, according to Acts 2:26)

48. As is earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49. And AS WE have borne the image of the earthy, WE shall ALSO bear the image of the heavenly.”

2 Corinthians 5:16.

“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet NOW henceforth know we him no more.”

In other words, DURING the DAYS of his FLESH the eyewitnesses of Jesus knew that he was a MAN who was ANOINTED by God. But NOW, AFTER the cross and resurrection they know Jesus to be the Lord of lords and the King of kings, who will rule FOR Yahweh in the world to come as the God over the whole earth. The first-century church understood that God MADE Jesus become both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 2:36. That is why Thomas called Jesus Lord and God after the cross. Thomas was not calling Jesus Yahweh Himself who is the only Almighty God. The Apostles of Jesus understood that the PROPHECIES spoke of the Messiah being highly exalted to become the Lord of lords and the King of kings to rule for Yahweh in the world to come.

Philippians 2:8.

“And being found in fashion (Or being seen in the figure or form) as a MAN, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

1 Timothy 2:5.

“For there is ONE God, AND (There is ALSO) one mediator BETWEEN God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus;”

1 Timothy 6:13-16.

“I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens (Or who gives LIFE to) all things, AND before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; (And that witness is that Jesus was an INNOCENT MAN. So then, in this letter Timothy the Apostle Paul is giving ALL Christians a CHARGE to keep this teaching that is about to give us in the next three verses of Scripture)

14. That you keep THIS commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: (Or that you keep THIS following teaching of instruction without PERVERTING it)

15. Which in his times (Speaking of both the first and second comings of Jesus) he shall show, WHO is the blessed and ONLY Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16. WHO ONLY has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”

And men have indeed seen Jesus. So the WHO that Jesus came to SHOW us is the FATHER. Therefore, the ONLY Sovereign Almighty God is the Father ALONE who ONLY has always had immortality in Himself. And Jesus is the IMAGE OF the only true God who will rule as the King of kings and the Lord of lords in the world to come. But the INVISIBLE only true God is the ETERNAL King who has always been the King of kings and the Lord of Lords over the whole universe that He created alone and by Himself. And it is the invisible Eternal King, Yahweh the Father, who has HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN, Jesus, to BECOME the highest King over the kings of the earth. Jesus will reign of the whole EARTH and NOT over the whole universe. Please understand that I am not demeaning Jesus, but rather, I am teaching you what the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us.

Hebrews 2:6-9.

“ But one in a certain place testified, (Speaking of Psalm 8:4-6) saying, What is MAN, that You are mindful of him? Or the son of MAN, that You VISIT him?

7. You MADE him a little LOWER than the angels; You CROWNED him with glory and honor, and (You) did SET him over the works of Your hands:

8. You put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But NOW WE see NOT YET all things put under him. (Speaking of the world yet to come, the 1000 year reign of Jesus which will be when Yahweh Himself puts all things under the feet of His Son, Jesus)

Hebrews 3:3.

“For this MAN was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honor than the house.”

Hebrews 10:12.

“But this MAN, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;”

1 John 4:12.

“No man has SEEN God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us.”

Again, the only true God is INVISIBLE and He cannot be SEEN by mortal men. Jesus has seen God AFTER the cross when Yahweh glorified the Son of MAN with the divine nature of eternal life never to die again. And then Jesus descended back down to the earth to show himself alive for forty days before the Son of MAN ascended back into heaven where he was before when the Son of MAN ascended to his God and Father right after God raised him from the dead. Jesus is still called the Son of MAN even after his glorification by Yahweh to become God’s, ETERNAL Son. Please read the three-part in-depth study “WHEN DID JESUS BECOME GOD’S ETERNAL SON? Part 1”

Revelation 1:13.

“And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of MAN, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.”

Revelation 2:17.

“He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone, a new name is written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.”

Now read where Jesus was given a NEW NAME.

Revelation 3:12.

“He that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my NEW NAME.”

Revelation 5:3,4.

“And no MAN in heaven, nor in the earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

4. And I wept much because no MAN was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.”

Now, if so be that the claims of Oneness Christians and Trinitarian Christians are true that ONLY God can die for the sins of the world, then WHY were they looking for a MAN who was WORTHY? Surely God would have already been WORTHY. But the TRUTH of the whole matter is that Yahweh needed a MAN to be found worthy. And the PROPHECY says that God found that MAN after His OWN HEART and that MAN is the Son of MAN, Jesus.

Revelation 5:5-7.

“And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: (We have found a MAN that is WORTHY) behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.”

Revelation 12:5.

“And she brought forth a MAN child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”

Again, please notice the ORDER of the events in the ORDER that they are PROPHESIED.

Please read Isaiah 9:6,7.

Revelation 12:13.

“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the MAN child.”

Revelation 14:14.

“And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of MAN, having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle.”

Revelation 19:12.

“His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.”

And it is that NEW NAME that the Son of MAN, Jesus was GIVEN that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord TO the GLORY of Almighty God the FATHER, according to Philippians 2:8-11. So then, from the four Gospels, all the way through the Book of Revelation, the EYEWITNESSES of Jesus knew, understood, and TAUGHT that Jesus was a MAN who God ANOINTED. And then that Son of MAN became God’s ETERNAL Son AFTER the cross.

SECTION FOUR

MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF HOW GOD LED ME OUT OF TRINITARIANISM!

Let us begin section four of this study with a little background on myself and what I was taught to believe by the churches I attended.

I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church but I actually became a true born again Christian at the age of 22 while attending my girlfriend's church which was a Pentecostal Church called the Assemblies of God Church.

Now both the Roman Catholic Church and the Assemblies of God teach the doctrine of the Trinity, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus. And at that time in my Christian walk when I first became a believer, I only knew of one other type of Christian or rather one other type of Christian church denomination who called themselves Oneness Pentecostals. Later on, I found that the Oneness Pentecostals split away from the Assemblies of God denomination because of a disagreement of how they believe about Almighty God and His Son, Jesus.

The Assemblies of God Pentecostal Christians believe that Jesus is a DISTINCT SEPARATE person from the Father, while Oneness Pentecostal Christians believe that Jesus IS the Father. So for a long time, I sincerely believed that a Christian had only TWO choices as to what they MUST believe in order to truly be saved. In other words, many Christians even today sincerely and truly believe that they must choose to either be an Oneness believer or a believer in the doctrine of the Trinity and there is NO other option. That is how much some churches indoctrinate their congregation to keep them blind to what other teachings there are among Christians. More on this shortly, but for now, I want to focus on what I myself knew AT that particular time in my life.

Well, I myself had already seen directly from God's word that Jesus is a distinct separate person from Almighty God the Father. And I already knew that Oneness believers dogmatically insist that Jesus IS the Father. In other words, I already knew directly from the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, that the doctrine of Oneness was not SOUND Biblical teaching because they dogmatically demand that Jesus is one and the self-same being as Almighty God the FATHER.

However, at the same time in my life, the Holy Spirit was ALSO showing me directly from the word of God, as well, that the doctrine of the Trinity was also NOT SOUND Biblical teaching.

So, for the sake of unity and to avoid the strife that comes from confrontation, we as Christians often avoid issues in the Bible that we disagree upon. Sometimes we hear people say, “Let's just agree to disagree”. But the word of God teaches that we should ALL speak the SAME thing. So I began to see that at times, simply avoiding the issue may, in fact, be a good thing in order to give time for some to grow or mature in the faith. However, keeping the truth suppressed in some instances has held back the body of Christ from walking to its fullest potential. For you see, by NOT knowing the TRUTH, this has caused some Christians NOT to mature or grow in the Lord as they ought to have grown.

So for a long time, I kept what the Holy Spirit was showing me to myself. Then one day God gave me a dream where he revealed to me that I can no longer keep the truth that he has shown to me in the word of God to myself. I knew in my spirit that no matter what my brothers and sisters in the Lord thought of me for QUESTIONING the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus, I knew that I must share what the Holy Spirit was revealing to me. For you see, I sincerely believe that FALSE teaching holds Christians back from doing the same works Jesus did through the eternal Spirit dwelling in him. And I believe that BOTH the doctrine of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity are holding back the growth of the church as a whole.

In other words, some Christians are still yet baby Christians in their walk with God when they should be mature Christians walking in their FULL potential with God. And one of the main reasons for Christians NOT growing in the Lord is due to the dogmatically demanding that any teaching that did not agree 100% with what their church denomination teaches is a FALSE doctrine. And all the controversy between Christians seems to be taken lightly by some with the attitude that says, well let us just agree to disagree.

Let me give you an example. Some churches teach that the gifts of the Holy Spirit were ONLY for the Apostles to get the Church started and after the Apostles chosen by Jesus died. And thus, to them, those gifts of the Holy Spirit have CEASED. And as a RESULT of such false teaching, those particular Christians are being DECEIVED that healing is no longer for the church today. And thus, THEY are not walking in their FULL potential as a Christian to receive healing. In other words, false teaching HINDERS Christians from receiving the healing that God has already provided for them in the name of Jesus.

To say this another way, they are basically saying, “I don't care what you have to say brother Mark because I already know all there is to know on the subject and I am right and you are wrong.” Or they may say something like, “Well I just do not understand the Bible”. And that may be true only because no one has ever taught them how to study the Bible for themselves. Or they may have been taught how to study the Bible but they have never taken the time to learn on their own through the leading of the Holy Spirit. And thus, the only thing they learn is what THEIR particular church denomination teaches them.

The truth of the matter is that some Christians simply do not study the word of God for THEMSELVES to see if what they are being taught is the truth of the whole word of Almighty God. Some say that they HAVE studied the Bible! But, in reality, all they did was to study what THEIR OWN church denomination has taught them. And, therefore, they have not truly and sincerely searched out the WHOLE matter considering closely ALL the evidence from all sides of the controversy. Take the example that I just gave to you and try and put yourself in the place of those who sincerely and truly believe that healing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not for the church today. Now you yourself KNOW that they are in error. But put yourself in THEIR shoes to try and understand WHY THEY do not see the truth of the whole word of God. When you do this, then you can clearly see that they are NOT willing to even consider a word you have to say even though all you are trying to do is to HELP them GROW in the Lord so that they can enjoy the benefits of what God has already provided for them.

Now, I believe with all my heart that when the Holy Spirit shows us a particular truth in the word of God, then that TRUTH is revealed for the purpose of helping us ALL to grow in faith and not just for ourselves alone to simply know the TRUTH. So, therefore, this revealed knowledge should NOT be withheld from the body of Christ by suppressing it on the grounds that some are still babes in Christ and not yet able to fully understand the deeper truths of God's word. I have heard that argument made by pastors far too often. So to all the pastors of churches out there, I implore you to STOP treating your congregation as BABY Christians. They are HUNGRY for the MEAT of God’s word.

Some Christians remain babes in the Lord because they are never given any strong meat or deep teaching of God's word. And part of the problem is the leaders or the overseers of the church denominations. For you see, pastors in local churches are only ALLOWED to teach what their OWN church denomination teaches. So, at times, even when a pastor knows the truth they are afraid of losing their job. So they hide behind the lie that their congregation has too many “BABES in Christ” and they are not ready for the truth. What I mean by this is that I have heard pastors say that their church is full of baby Christians and that is the reason WHY they do not teach on deeper things in the Bible. Well, with that kind of logic their congregation will never grow and mature in the Lord.

The truth of the matter is that sometimes baby Christians understand deeper truth more than the so-called, “mature” Christians. For you see, they have not yet had time for their minds to be filled with the traditions of men and other well-meaning, but still yet FALSE doctrine, which they have heard over and over through the years of going to church. It is not the hearing over and over again that is the problem. But rather, it is Christians NOT searching the word of God for themselves to see if what they are being taught is the truth that is the main problem.

However, the church “denominations” ADD to the problem by NOT being open to changing what they believe and teach. So again, some Christians have been DECEIVED simply because they have not gone to the word to PROVE for themselves whether or not the things that they are being taught are in fact the TRUTH of God's word, the WHOLE word of God. But it is ALSO the fault of pastors and the higher up leaders in church denominations for NOT searching the word of truth for THEMSELVES. But rather, they simply “PARROT” what the founders of those church denominations teach WITHOUT searching ALL the evidence from all sides of the controversy as to WHY other church denominations believe what they believe.

SECTION FIVE

WHY IS JESUS CALLED THE SON OF MAN?

STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED!

RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH!

Let us begin this section of this study in God's word by taking a look at Acts 17:10,11 so you can see how VITALLY important it is to QUESTION what you are being taught. Just the mere FACT that there are so many DIFFERENT church denominations should cause you to QUESTION which denomination is teaching the TRUTH. For you see, EVERY church denomination CLAIMS that they are teaching the TRUTH. So then, how can you TRULY know if you are being taught the truth without YOU personally searching the word of God for YOURSELF to SEE IF what you are being taught agrees with every verse of Scripture in the Bible having NO contradictions?

Under this section, you will learn the QUESTIONS that I asked God because what I was seeing in the SCRIPTURES seemed to CONTRADICT what I was being taught in the Trinitarian Assemblies of God Church. But yet, at that time in my life, I only knew about Oneness Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Mormons which I knew were not SOUND Biblical teachings.

Acts 17:10,11.

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea; who, coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

11. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they RECEIVED the word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures DAILY, whether those things were so”.

In other words, they QUESTIONED everything they were being taught to SEE IF it was SOUND Biblical teaching. Now, every Christian book we read, and all that we hear concerning God's word, whether it be a sermon at church, a Bible teacher on the radio, or just a conversation with a friend ought to be closely examined in the light of God’s word. In other words, you need to prove it out for YOURSELF by using God’s word as your sole foundation to see whether or not you are being taught the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God and NOT just being taught PART of God's word which has been taken out of context.

And when you hear or read something that your church denomination does NOT teach, do not simply say, well that is not what MY church denomination teaches. So, therefore, it is a false teaching because my church denomination does NOT teach that. For you see, those Christians who have been TAUGHT by THEIR church denomination that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have CEASED do indeed sincerely believe that they alone have the truth and every other teaching out there is a false doctrine of the devil. And they will remain in ignorance to the TRUTH if they never QUESTION what they are being taught.

But we who know the truth and who have received healing KNOW that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have NOT ceased. And thus, many of us are being used by the Holy Spirit in the gifts of the Holy Spirit to HELP other Christians know that they are being DECEIVED by the devil. And all we want to do is to HELP them see the TRUTH of the whole word of God so that they can GROW to their FULL potential to DO the very same works that men saw Jesus doing THROUGH the Eternal Spirit dwelling in him. And until they and you search the word of God for YOURSELVES, then you will only believe what OTHERS are dogmatically demanding is the truth. Chances are that any church that claims that they ALONE have the truth are actually teaching FALSE doctrine. So TRY every teaching you hear or read in order to SEE for yourself if you are hearing or reading the truth of the WHOLE word of Almighty God

And this study which you are reading now is no exception. I strongly urge you to examine all of the Scriptures that I have used to support what I am saying very closely to be absolutely sure that they were not taken out of context, or misused in any way. Prove it out for yourself, so that you yourself will be fully persuaded in your own mind and in your own heart that it is the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing but the TRUTH without contradicting any other part of God's word.

I pray that you will never find any of what I teach as being dogmatically demanding or that you receive my words in the wrong way to think that I am saying that you must believe every word I teach in order to be saved and receive eternal life in the world to come. I pray that you understand that I am presenting to you, my readings and seekers of the truth, what I myself truly and sincerely believe that the Holy Spirit has revealed to me to share with those who are truly seeking the truth of the whole word of Almighty God.

My heart is for the sheep who have been scattered and who are struggling to understand the truth that THEY truly feel that the Holy Spirit has ALREADY been showing them. BUT their own church denomination will not even consider a word they have to say or take the time to answer any questions that they have because their questions are questioning what their church denomination is teaching them.

Now, I myself began this study in the word of God to PERSONALLY answer the questions for myself. I was seeing things in the word of God that cause me to QUESTION what I was being taught about Jesus being fully Almighty God himself and fully a human being at the same time having two natures, one divine, and one human. I would hear sermons like Jesus was God BECAUSE ONLY God can heal people, and ONLY God can live without sin.

So I was asking myself the following three-part question. Did Jesus do the miracles that he did while he was on the earth as:

#1. Did Jesus do the works he did AS BEING Almighty God HIMSELF in the flesh?

#2. Did Jesus do the works he did AS BEING the SON OF Almighty God?

#3. Did Jesus do the works he did AS BEING the Son of MAN who God ANOINTED with the Holy Ghost and POWER?

These questions arose within me because I had heard some people say that Jesus is FULLY God and that Jesus is God Himself manifested in the flesh and ONLY God can do these things. Some teach that Jesus was God and man at the same time. Some maintained that Jesus is 100% man, and yet also 100% God at the same time having two natures, one divine, and one human. In other words, some teach that Jesus was FULLY God and yet still fully man at the SAME time while he was on the earth during the days of his flesh. While others say Jesus is 50% God and 50% man, as in, a God-man being half God and half man. And still, yet others maintain that Jesus is God in the flesh giving no emphases on how much human, or how much God, Jesus actually was.

Later on, I learned that this TWO nature doctrine is called the Deity of Jesus Christ. It states that God HIMSELF became flesh but yet REMAINED fully Almighty God having TWO natures at the SAME time during the days of his flesh, one nature was divine, and one nature was human. In other words, the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus teaches that Jesus is FULLY God and FULLY man at the SAME time. And BOTH Trinitarian Christians AND the Oneness Christians teach the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus during the days of his flesh. BUT they believe differently about WHO God IS.

The Oneness Christians believe that Yahweh is ONE God in ONE person. And thus, to them, there was NO Son of God in the eternity past. They teach that Yahweh alone and by Himself created a BODY to dwell in. And that is why they insist that Jesus is NOT a SEPARATE person from the Father. So they teach that Yahweh, the FATHER manifested HIMSELF to become flesh but yet REMAINED fully Almighty God having TWO natures, one divine, and one human.

And Trinitarian Christians believe that Yahweh is ONE God in THREE separate persons. And thus, to Trinitarian Christians, it was God the SON, the second person of the Godhead trinity God who became flesh but yet REMAINED fully Almighty God having TWO natures, one divine and on human. And thus, all Trinitarian Christians MUST believe the Jesus pre-existed in eternity past having NO BEGINNING, otherwise, their whole doctrine of the Trinity falls apart.

In other words, Trinitarian Christians believe that Jesus WAS God in heaven, as in, Jesus was God the SON, who was WITH God the Father at His side from all eternity past and never had a beginning. And then, Jesus himself AS God the Son, the second person of the Trinity, came down to the earth and “incarnated himself to become flesh”. To say this another way, Trinitarians say that it was Jesus, the SON of God, who BECAME or was MADE flesh while he was on the earth. BUT the pre-existing Son of God REMAINED the fully DIVINE eternal God at the SAME time having TWO natures, one divine, and one human. And they add EMPHASIS to this doctrine of the Deity of Jesus to say that Jesus is still EQUAL with Almighty God the Father in every way where neither God the Father nor God the Son is less than or greater than the other even DURING the days of his FLESH.

Now, the Oneness Christians believe and teach that God is NOT three persons in one God, but rather God is three MANIFESTATION in the one God. Thus, they teach that there was NO God the Son who was WITH the Almighty God the Father at His side in all eternity past. But rather, Almighty God the Father Himself MANIFESTED Himself to become flesh or to become the Son of God. Again, the Oneness Christians believe the same man-made doctrine of the Deity of Jesus but they believe that Almighty God the FATHER REMAINED fully the Almighty God having TWO natures, one divine, and one human at the SAME time. And thus, Oneness believers dogmatically demand that Jesus IS one and the self-same being as the FATHER to insist that during the days of the flesh of Jesus that Jesus was NOT a separate distinct person from his God and Father, the Almighty God.

However, the more I searched the Scriptures to see which view was right I quickly began to see that none of these views I just mentioned are soundly based upon the SCRIPTURES, that is to say, that none of the above-mentioned teachings of Oneness, the Trinity, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus are based on the WHOLE word of God. As you read this and other studies that I have written you will find that I use the term “the WHOLE word of God” quite often. This is because so many FALSE teachings do indeed use verses of Scripture from the Bible to try and support what they teach. But the truth of the matter is that the verses of Scripture they use are being taken OUT of their context. And thus, it is the conclusions or the interpretation that they have drawn or concluded without hearing the WHOLE matter which CONTRADICT other portions of God's word and NOT that Scripture contradicts itself.

Again, consider the example of the FALSE teaching that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have CEASED. All Christians sincerely believe what THEIR church denomination teaches them is the truth because their church has shown them only the ONE-SIDED proof from the Bible by quoting Scriptures out of CONTEXT. And thus, those Christians who have only heard the ONE side of the controversy only know ONE SIDE of the controversy and may not even know that there is a controversy. And if they have heard what others believe it is often BIAS teaching slanted to what their own church denomination teaches. In other words, what THOSE Christians have done is to search out ONLY what THEIR church denomination teaches them. And thus, they have been filled with pride thinking that they only have the truth and they are ABOVE being able to be deceived because they THINK they have studied the Bible. But all they really did was study THEIR side of the controversy.

When the Holy Spirit showed me that I was doing the same thing, I began to TRULY consider the REASONS of WHY other Christians believe what they believe and teach. And when I began to see the REASONS of WHY other churches teach what they teach my eyes were opened to see that SOME of what each church denomination teaches has SOME truth. Yes, even the Jehovah’s Witnesses have SOME truth but I will NEVER become a Jehovah’s Witness because they also have a LOT of ERROR in what they teach.

So then, as I have just said, those who teach that Jesus is God in the flesh, being FULLY God, as in, Jesus being FULLY the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the flesh and yet at the same time Jesus was also FULLY man having TWO natures, one divine, and one human, do indeed use Scriptures to try and support what they are teaching. But they have NOT used the WHOLE word of Almighty God, otherwise, they would NOT remain Trinitarian Christians. But rather they would become BIBLICAL Unitarian Christians. Please read the studies. “WHAT IS BIBLICAL UNITARIANISM?” and “IS BIBLICAL UNITARIANISM POLYTHEISM?”

But for now, I want you to see that Christians, in general, have only used a few isolated verses of Scripture, which have been taken out of context and these verses have been misinterpreted or twisted to fit what they are trying to teach. To say this another way, they are reading into the Scriptures what they NEED them to say in order to try and support their theology or man-made teaching. And other Christians merely REPEAT what they have been taught by their pastors without ever going to the word of God for THEMSELVES to see if what they are being taught is the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God.

Now BOTH the Oneness believers and Trinity believes teach the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus, which states that Jesus is FULLY the Almighty God Himself in the FLESH being FULLY the Almighty God and fully a human being at the SAME time having TWO natures, one DIVINE, and one human. Some add that Jesus also had TWO WILLS as well.

However, what these two church denominations teach is directly opposite to what the other denomination teaches. So, to me, it is quite obvious that both denominations cannot be teaching the truth. Therefore, some Christians have wrongly concluded that they MUST choose to either be an Oneness believer or they must choose to be a Trinity believer. And I myself, believed for a long time that these were the ONLY two choices except for becoming a Jehovah's Witness or a Mormon. And, at that time in my life, I was afraid to even search for myself what they taught because it was made very clear that they were a cult. In other words, I did not yet know what I know today.

Anyway, back then, one day I met a Jehovah's Witness where I worked. Please understand that I am NOT a Jehovah's Witness and also know that I will NEVER become a Jehovah's Witness. All I am saying is that I truly LISTENED to WHY the Jehovah's Witnesses believe what they believe. Also, at the time that we first talked, I did not know he was Jehovah's Witness until we actually began to talk about the Bible. At lunch, I would see him reading the Bible and he would see me reading the Bible so I thought he was another Trinitarian Christian like myself. Then one day he asked me who I believed Jesus was? I said Jesus is the Son of God. And he asked me a very peculiar question, “You mean that you do not believe that Jesus is Almighty God himself?” And I said No! The Bible does not teach us that Jesus is Almighty God himself, but rather teaches us that Jesus is the Son OF God.

And through our many conversations and observing his LIFE, I could see that he was indeed a Christian who believed a lot of what the Holy Spirit was teaching me concerning Jesus being the Son OF God and the Son of MAN. Please understand that I am NOT saying that the Jehovah's Witnesses are teaching the truth. I myself WARN my readers to NOT become involved with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Not because they deny the doctrine of the Trinity but rather they SHUN their followers for QUESTIONING what they are being taught. Please read the study “Is the Jehovah's Witnesses Biblical Christianity?”. I want my readers and seekers of the truth, to understand that what the Jehovah's Witnesses teach is NOT sound Biblical teaching and that it is VERY dangerous to become a Jehovah’s Witness. But for now, let us continue with this study on Jesus being the Son of MAN before Jesus became the ETERNAL Son of God to rule FOR Almighty God Yahweh in the world to come.

This study is not intended for you to simply know the truth for truth's sake alone, but so that you will grow in God's grace and strength to overcome the enemy. What I am showing you is not a matter of SALVATION. You KNOW that you are indeed a true born again Christian. Every Oneness believer KNOWS that they are a true Christian. Every Trinity believer KNOWS that they are a true Christian. But yet, some Christians in both groups try to INTIMIDATE others to believe as they believe by telling them that they are NOT truly saved. Again, I know that you are saved and I know that it is not a matter of salvation if one believes that it was God the Son who became flesh. I know that Oneness Christians are saved even though they wrongly teach that Jesus is the Father and not a separate person from the Father. And I know that Jehovah's Witness are saved even though they believe that Jesus pre-existed in the eternity past. So I am not teaching this study as a matter of salvation. But rather, what I teach is to help you GROW in your full potential in the Lord to do the SAME works that Jesus did INCLUDING living your life without sin. I want you to know and understand that the Holy Spirit in YOU is the SAME eternal Spirit who DWELT IN Jesus so that you will do the same works that men saw the Son of MAN doing through the Holy Spirit dwelling in him for God was WITH him.

You see, when this truth that I am teaching you in this study is fully grasped and held close to your heart it will empower you to live your life completely free from sin just as Jesus lived his life free from sin setting for us an example for us to follow. When you allow this truth of the ANOINTING of Jesus abide in you then you will begin seeing and knowing that Jesus was a man just like you and me. You will know and understand that Jesus had no special advantage over us when he lived his life without sin. You will fully understand that Jesus did the mighty works that he did THROUGH the eternal Holy Spirit of Almighty God the Father who DWELT IN him. You will understand that the SAME Holy Spirit now DWELLS IN us as Christians in order to EMPOWER us to do the SAME works Jesus did. Please read the study “HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!”

You see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ IF Jesus lived his life WITHOUT SIN being FULLY Almighty God himself, as in, one and the self-same being as Almighty God in the FLESH, then Jesus showed us NOTHING. For you see, how can a HUMAN BEING follow an EXAMPLE set for us to FOLLOW, if so be, that EXAMPLE was made by ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF?

Can you not see my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, that IF this was truly HOW Jesus OVERCAME sin, as in, by being FULLY ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the FLESH as some church denominations teach, then how can we as mere mortal men and women even think that we can follow the EXAMPLE set by Jesus to live our lives without sin? This is WHY some Christians then say things like, “Well ONLY Jesus could ever live WITHOUT SIN, we are ONLY HUMAN and it is our human NATURE to sin”. Can you not see that believing this false teaching that Jesus was FULLY ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the flesh hinders the faith of Christians to do the same works that Jesus did? In other words, Christians who believe that Jesus is Almighty God Himself wrongly conclude that because we are only HUMAN and ONLY Jesus can live without sin. And thus, it is impossible for them to follow the EXAMPLE of living without sin that Jesus set for us to follow. This false teaching has also caused some Christians to place ALL the BLAME on Almighty God for them living in sin by wrongly ACCUSING God that He MADE us with this so-called SINFUL HUMAN NATURE.

Hebrews 4:15 teaches us that Jesus was tempted in all points LIKE we are, yet without sin. This means that Jesus did not have any special advantages over us in resisting sin, like being FULLY ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the FLESH. For you see, Almighty God can NOT be tempted. Again, I want to point out and emphasize that the same Holy Spirit that Jesus was ANOINTED with by Almighty God is the same Holy Spirit that God the Father has sent to be OUR comforter and OUR helper who DWELLS IN us as Christians.

Let me just briefly say here that every person who is truly a born-again Christian has the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN them. But I also want to make it perfectly clear to my readers that there is also the receiving of the FULLNESS of the Holy Spirit, sometimes called being baptized in the Holy Spirit. For a deeper understanding of being FILLED with the FULNESS and JOY of the Holy Spirit please read the study called “THE POWER AND THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER!” and “STIR UP THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU!” But for now, let us continue with this study to learn that Jesus lived his life without sin, and we ought to be living our lives without sin as well because he is our EXAMPLE that we are CALLED to follow.

Look at 1 Peter 2:21, which clearly and plainly teaches that Jesus set an EXAMPLE of living without sin for us to FOLLOW in his steps and live our lives without sin as well.

1 Peter 2:21.

“For even hereunto were you called because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should FOLLOW his steps”.

So what example did Jesus leave us to follow? The answer is in the very next verse.

1 Peter 2:22.

“Who did NO SIN neither was guile found in his mouth”.

Are you seeing it yet? Through the teaching that Jesus was 100% God and 100% man while he was on the earth has consequently led the church to believe that Jesus was, is, and ever shall be the ONLY man to be ABLE to live without sin. BECAUSE supposedly, according to the doctrine of Oneness, the doctrine of the Trinity, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus, DURING the days of his FLESH, Jesus was a GOD-man, being FULLY Almighty God HIMSELF and man at the SAME time, which is totally contrary to what the Bible actually teaches. This type of false teaching disarms the believer and keeps Christians from overcoming the enemy BECAUSE they WRONGLY see Jesus as the ONLY one ever capable of living a life WITHOUT SIN.

Again, I fully realize the TRUTH, that we all have sinned at one time or another and therefore we all have fallen short of the glory of God. However, I am speaking of living a sin-free life after being redeemed from sin by the blood of Jesus, and being placed BACK into the right relationship with Almighty God. I am speaking of living without sin AFTER being filled with the Holy Spirit or ANOINTED with the SAME Holy Spirit that Jesus himself was ANOINTED with by his God and Father. For you see, the one true and only Almighty God the Father ANOINTED Jesus in order to EMPOWER the Son of MAN to live his life without sin and do the works that men saw him doing. Jesus lived without sin, healed people, and even raised people from the dead not because Jesus was God Himself, but rather, it was because God was WITH the Son of MAN by dwelling in him.

Knowing that Jesus was a man just like me and that he was able to live his life without sin gives me the strength to live my life also without sin. If Jesus can do it, then so can I, seeing that Jesus is my example, my pattern to follow. Make it personal. Say to yourself, Jesus is MY example. You see, Jesus showed us that it IS POSSIBLE to live our lives without sin. But how did Jesus show us that WE can live without sin? BY truly BEING a MAN, a human being, just as we are and living his life free from sin THROUGH the power of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God the Father, the SAME Holy Spirit that is dwelling IN EVERY believer. Now all believers may not have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, which is to be FILLED to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. The evidence that a believer has been filled to an overflowing fullness of the Holy Spirit is the evidence of speaking in other tongues to magnify God with your whole being with JOY unspeakable and full of glory.

You will not be able to develop this attitude of being EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit dwelling IN you to live your life without sin and do the works men saw Jesus doing through the eternal Spirit dwelling in him until you truly KNOW that Jesus was FULLY a human being having NO divine nature DURING the days of his flesh. THEN your attitude toward sin will become “if Jesus was able to live totally free from sin then so can I!” But as long as you hold on to the false teaching that Jesus is “Almighty God in the flesh” having two natures, then the devil will steal that truth from you that YOU CAN live without sin just as Jesus lived his life without sin as the EXAMPLE for YOU to follow. You will never TRULY see that Jesus is the Son of MAN, a HUMAN BEING like you and I if you continue to cling to the false teaching that Jesus is FULLY Almighty God and FULLY a man at the SAME time having TWO natures, one divine. and one human. Simply ask yourself the question WHERE are the verses that teach the man-made doctrine that was created to explain AWAY the clear plain and simple verses that do not need any interpretation to understand what they mean. Again, please read the study “37 FACTS ABOUT JESUS BEING GOD!” for those SIMPLE plain verses that expose the errors of interpretation of the doctrine of Oneness, the doctrine of the Trinity, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus DURING the days of his FLESH.

You see, the only true way for Jesus to be tempted as we are, was for the word to literally and totally become as we are; that is to say, to become a MAN, a human being, 100% flesh and blood, as we are because Almighty God cannot be tempted. Please see James 1:13. And again the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus was indeed TEMPTED in all points LIKE we as human beings are TEMPTED.

Do not continue to try and REASON away the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God by believing the man-made false teaching that CLAIMS that it was only the HUMAN SIDE of Jesus that was actually tempted and the God side of Jesus was not actually tempted. What passage of SCRIPTURE is there to base this man-made REASONING upon? There is no such passage of Scripture to teach that Jesus was FULLY Almighty God and yet FULLY a human being at the SAME time. There is NO passage of Scripture to teach that Jesus is EQUAL with Almighty God the Father in every way where neither is greater than or less than the other because BOTH are FULLY and completely ALMIGHTY God, as in, ONE and the self-same being. But there are Scriptures that teach us that the spoken living word of God was stripped of all its divine nature to take on human nature.

Can you not see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ how vitally important it is for us as Christians to fully come to realize the necessity that the spoken WORD of Almighty God that came forth OUT FROM the mouth of the eternal Spirit BECAME the Son of MAN. And thus, leaving behind his or its mighty power and glory in order to FULLY partake of a flesh and blood nature, and become 100% MAN just as you and I, in order to be TEMPTED in all points LIKE every other HUMAN BEING clearly seeing from God's word that Almighty God HIMSELF cannot be TEMPTED with evil.

Here is what John 1:14b says.

“…and the Word was MADE flesh and dwelt among us.”

Please note that the word of God does NOT say that JESUS was made flesh. Nor does it say that Almighty God HIMSELF was made flesh. And one must read into the text that the word REMAINED the fully divine God. But rather, the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible itself, merely states as a FACT that the WORD was made flesh. So, therefore, it must be INTERPRETED that the word in John 1:14 was a pre-existing divine person who was with Yahweh the Father in the eternity past. For a deeper understanding of what this passage of Scripture in John chapter 1 verses 1-14 truly means in the light of the whole word of God please read “John 1:1- THE WORD WAS GOD!” But for now, I want you to ask yourself the question.

“Who would know more if Jesus was Almighty God HIMSELF in the flesh, or if Jesus was the Son of MAN more than Jesus himself?”

So then, let us take a look at what Jesus himself says about himself. Jesus refers to himself eighty-three times in the four gospels as being the Son of MAN. Even when Nathanael called Jesus the SON of God, Jesus turned it around and referred to himself as the Son of MAN. Read this account for yourself in John 1:45-49.

In Matthew 16:13 Jesus asked his disciples this question.

“Whom do men say that I the Son of MAN am?”

The word of God seems to go out of its way in order to emphasize the FACT that Jesus is the Son of MAN. Now, the phrase “son of man” is 197 times in the Bible. And when this phrase is found in the Old Testament so many times, then we must interpret it as being a shadow, type, or figure pointing to Jesus, as opposed to being a manifestation of a pre-existing Jesus called a theophany. Consider the book of Ezekiel which we all know is PROPHECY that was prophesying of the yet future son of man who would become the Messiah. Then in the New Testament Jesus, HIMSELF, personally referred to himself 83 times as being the Son of MAN in the four gospels. Compare this to the number of times the phrase “the Son of God” is found in the four gospels, which is only 26 times. The phrase “Son of God” is only found 48 times in the ENTIRE Bible. And of all 48 times, Jesus HIMSELF only refers to himself as the Son of God 5 times. Also, there are times when others called Jesus the Son of God and Jesus turned it back around to call HIMSELF the Son of MAN.

Please read Matthew 26:63,64.

“But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you be the Christ, the Son of God.

64. Jesus said unto him, You have said: nevertheless, I say unto you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of MAN sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven”

Even at the return of Jesus he still refers to himself as still yet being the Son of MAN. I believe that Jesus does this to show us that he does not actually take the THRONE of Almighty God to rule and reign FOR Yahweh in the world to come until after the WRATH of God has been poured out AT the second coming of Jesus.

Also, please read Luke 22:7 along with John 1:49-51 where Jesus is asked and is called the Son of God, but then Jesus turns it back around and specifically calls HIMSELF the Son of MAN.

Luke 22:7.

“Then said they all, Are you then the Son of God? And he said unto them, YOU say that I am.”

John 1:49-51.

“Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

50. Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto you, I saw you under the fig tree, believe you? (Or you believe that I am the one prophesied to come as the King of Israel who would be called God's Son simply because I saw you under the fig tree?) You shall see greater things than these.

51. And he said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of MAN.”

So it seems to me, that Jesus wants us to KNOW that he was the Son of MAN FIRST before the Son of MAN was highly exalted to BECOME the ETERNAL Son of Almighty God to rule FOR his God and Father for 1000 years in the world to come. Again, please understand that I am in no way inferring that Jesus is not the Son of God. The Bible emphatically teaches that Jesus would be called the SON OF the Most-High and living God, to this TRUTH there is absolutely no doubt. However being a SON of God does NOT make Jesus to BE Almighty God HIMSELF, or even being EQUAL with Almighty God, or to being one and the self-same being as God the Father.

The word of God teaches that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God the Father and that the Word that was WITH God and was God was MADE to BECOME flesh. So let us NOT read into the word of Almighty God more than what it is teaching us in simplicity.

Therefore, since the Bible itself states as a FACT that the word was made FLESH, then the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible itself clearly teaches us that the spoken WORD of Almighty God BECAME the Son of MAN, as opposed to the Orthodox Christianity INTERPRETED version that the Word was made GOD and flesh at the same time having TWO natures at the SAME time during the DAYS of his FLESH.
