N-6. JESUS is THE SON OF GOD!

Jesus as being the SON OF God is the CORE of Christianity. This TRUTH was revealed to the Apostle Peter by Almighty God Himself that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God.

Please read Matthew 16:15-18.

“He said unto them, But WHOM say you that I am? 

16.  And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the CHRIST, the SON OF the living God. 

17.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: FOR (Or BECAUSE)  flesh and blood has NOT revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven. (In other words, Almighty God the Father Himself revealed this truth that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God)

18.  And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock (Speaking of this revealed TRUTH  that my God and Father revealed to you of me being the Messiah, the anointed one prophesied to come, the Son of God) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

And all through the New Testament, there is a clear teaching in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is the SON OF the only true God who alone is the Father.

This is part four of the series of studies called “WHO IS JESUS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?” Every church denomination has their own personal interpretation of who Jesus is. And the two mainstream church denominations teach that Jesus is Almighty God himself but they have their own theories on how Jesus is Yahweh Himself.

The purpose of the study is to give you, the reader, and the seeker of the truth, SOLID Scriptural evidence that absolutely, without a doubt, will show you the distinct difference between Jesus the SON OF Almighty God AND the Most-High Almighty God, the FATHER. 

The Bible ITSELF CLEARLY shows us that Jesus is NOT Almighty God the FATHER and that Almighty God, the FATHER, is NOT his SON Jesus. And the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, also clearly and PLAINLY shows us that Jesus the SON OF God is NOT EQUAL to his God and Father Almighty God the Most-High God who ALONE is the ONLY TRUE and wise God. But yet, Trinitarian Christians wrongly teach that Jesus is co-equal to Almighty God the Father in every way where neither is less than nor greater than the other.

And the Oneness Christians dogmatically demand that Jesus IS Almighty God the FATHER HIMSELF, as in, one and the self-same being. Those Christians are also Modalist believers. Now, both Trinitarian Christians and Oneness Christians teach that Jesus IS Almighty God Yahweh Himself because Jesus is called “God” in Hebrew 1:8. And since Yahweh is God and Jesus is God and there is only ONE God in the Old Testament then, to THEM, Jesus MUST, without fail, be the one true and only Almighty God Himself.

Now BOTH of these groups of Christians dogmatically demand that THEY alone are teaching the truth and each of these church denominations sincerely believe with all their heart that what their particular denomination believes and teaches is the truth. But we KNOW that BOTH groups of Christians cannot be teaching the TRUTH for you see what each of these two groups of Christians teach is completely OPPOSITE of each other. Oneness believers say Jesus IS the FATHER and Trinitarians say that Jesus is NOT the FATHER.

So then, the question is: “WHICH church denomination is teaching the TRUTH regarding WHO Jesus IS?” Or perhaps NEITHER the Oneness teaching NOR the doctrine of the Trinity agree with what the Bible itself actually teaches us.

WHAT does the BIBLE ITSELF clearly, and plainly teach us in SIMPLICITY?

Let us begin this study in God's word by reading 1 Corinthians 8:5,6 which teaches us that there are MANY that are called gods, but to us, as Christians or believers in Jesus as the SON OF Almighty God, there is only ONE God and that ONE TRUE God, the source of ALL, is Almighty God the FATHER, the MOST-HIGH GOD and FATHER of ALL.

1 Corinthians 8:5,6.

“For though there be many that are called gods, whether IN heaven or in the earth, (as there be many gods and lords many)

6. BUT to us (Speaking of us, as Christians or believers in Jesus) there is but ONE God, THE FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; and ONE Lord JESUS CHRIST by (Or FOR, as in, FOR the SAKE of) whom are all things, and we by him.”

This verse clearly shows that there is but ONE God, who ALONE is the FATHER and that JESUS is called the one Lord Christ. Jesus is called Lord and the SON OF God, but NOT ALMIGHTY God, who alone is always identified in the Bible ITSELF as being the FATHER. So the TRUTH of the matter is Almighty God, the Most-High God, is the FATHER OF the SON OF God, and Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God, the FATHER. Jesus is never called “God the Son” or the second person of the Trinity in the Bible itself, this is a man-made title given to Jesus by those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity.

In other words, Almighty God the Father is the SOURCE of bringing his SON into existence. Please read the study “DID JESUS HAVE A BEGINNING?” for all the verses that prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that the SON OF God did indeed have a BEGINNING and that ONLY ALMIGHTY God the eternal SPIRIT has always been IMMORTAL and therefore without a beginning being HIMSELF the SOURCE of ALL including being the source of bringing his SON Jesus into existence.

Now some of you may be thinking, WHAT about Hebrews 1:8 where Almighty God the Father HIMSELF calls his Son Jesus, God. And “God” does not have a beginning. Yes, I am quite aware of this verse, but are YOU aware that the very next verse in Hebrews 1:9 clearly and plainly teaches us that ALMIGHTY God the FATHER is THE God OVER his Son Jesus, which teaches us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is NOT THE ONE true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF. We will cover this passage of Scripture in Hebrews further on in this study of God's word, and as you read through this study you will see verse after verse after verse carefully depicting the difference between Almighty God the Father AND his SON Jesus, the Christ, or the ANOINTED OF Almighty God the Father.

Let us continue this study in God's word by reading the verses where Jesus HIMSELF refers to the Almighty God the Father as HIS God. In Matthew 27:46 Jesus cries out to God the FATHER as being his God.

Matthew 27:46.

“And in the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabach thani? That is to say, MY GOD, MY GOD, why have you forsaken me?”

This verse makes it quite clear that God, the FATHER, and Jesus, the SON of God are TWO completely different and distinct individual beings. And whereby Jesus has THE GOD, which we know to be Almighty God the FATHER, who is THE God OVER his SON Jesus, because Jesus cried out to him saying MY GOD.

You see dear child of God, these verses I am showing you are the CLEAR, PLAIN, and SIMPLE statements of FACT directly from the Bible ITSELF which do NOT need any INTERPRETATION whatsoever to understand what they mean. The SIMPLE definition of the word “ALMIGHTY” means that there is NONE OTHER higher or over the ONE who is THE ALMIGHTY. Therefore it is IMPOSSIBLE for Jesus to BE THE ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF seeing that the Bible ITSELF clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY that the FATHER is THE GOD OVER his SON Jesus. In other words, there can be MANY Gods, but there can ONLY be ONE God who is THE ALMIGHTY and the Bible ITSELF always identifies the FATHER as being THE God who is OVER his SON Jesus.

Some Christians may argue that this was BEFORE the cross where the FLESH nature of Jesus was under the Father. First of all, there are no verses in the entire Bible that state or even hint at Jesus having TWO natures at the SAME time during his ministry or even after the cross. Now let us read what John 20:17 has to say in relation to the time right after Jesus was raised from the dead and appeared to Mary Magdalene before he ascended to his God the FATHER.

John 20:17.

“Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to MY FATHER: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto MY FATHER and to your Father; and to MY GOD, and your God.”

So the SAME God of Mary Magdalene and the disciples, which without question is THE Almighty God the FATHER, is ALSO THE GOD of his SON Jesus. This verse plainly shows that Jesus HIMSELF says that he has a GOD over or above him and that the GOD of Jesus is THE FATHER, the Almighty invisible God, whom Jesus came to show us as being the one and ONLY true God.

There is but ONE GOD, which is THE FATHER and Jesus is his SON, our Lord, whom God has made to be both Lord and Christ. The Bible says that Jesus is Lord and NOT THE God, as in, being one and the SELF-SAME divine eternal being with Almighty God who ALONE is the FATHER. These two Scriptures make it clear that God the FATHER is ALSO the GOD OF Jesus, the SON OF God.

So then, clearly seeing that the Father is the MOST-HIGH GOD and is the GOD OF his Son Jesus, then this would make Jesus to be UNDER his Father and SUBJECT unto his God and Father. This is EXACTLY what the word of God teaches us. And NOWHERE does the Bible ITSELF teach us that Jesus is EQUAL with his God and Father in every way where neither is less than nor greater than the other, which is what the man-made doctrine of the Trinity teaches. Take a look at 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, which also clearly shows without a doubt that Jesus is UNDER and SUBJECT to his GOD and Father, THE Almighty God.

1 Corinthians 15:20-27.

“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

21. For since by MAN came death, BY MAN came ALSO the resurrection of the dead. (The Bible says that it is appointed for MAN to die ONCE and then comes the judgment. God never intended for any of mankind to die the SECOND DEATH. The lake of fire was prepared for Satan and the fallen angels and NOT for mankind. It grieves God to see the death of the wicked and he is begging the wicked to TURN from their wicked ways and LIVE)

22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ (Speaking of Jesus the Son of MAN being ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God his God and Father) shall all be made alive. (To stand before JUDGMENT whereby ONLY those who BELIEVE in Jesus as the SON OF God shall be saved if they endure unto the end, while all UNBELIEVERS will not be raised from the dead until AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus to face judgment and be cast into the lake of fire which is the SECOND DEATH to be destroyed never to rise again)

23. But every MAN in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; (In other words Jesus being the FIRST MAN to be raised from the dead never more to die because Jesus was GIVEN ETERNAL LIFE from Almighty God his God and Father to BECOME the FIRSTBORN of every creature just like Colossians 1:15-19 teaches us. And thus Jesus BECAME the BEGINNING of the CREATION of God speaking of God's NEW CREATION of righteous eternal human beings to dwell with THE God for all eternity just like Revelation 3:14 teaches us. So then, Jesus is the FIRST MAN or the first human being to be given IMMORTALITY and) afterward they that are Christ's AT his coming. (Referring to the second coming of Jesus immediately after the period of great tribulation and believers who at this time would be raised from the dead and ALSO given eternal life)

24. Then comes the end, (Speaking of AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus) when he (Jesus) shall have DELIVERED UP the kingdom TO GOD, EVEN THE FATHER; when He (Referring to Almighty God the Father) shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. (Speaking of “theos” the god of this world, Satan the devil)

25. For he (Jesus) must reign till He (Speaking of God the Father) has put all things under his feet. (It is Almighty God the Father who puts all things under his SON'S feet TO the glory of the Father so in truth whatever he puts under his SON'S feet is put under his feet as well)

26. For He (The Father) has put all things under his feet. (Again, when all things are under his SON'S feet they are under the Father's feet as well) But when He (Almighty God the Father) says ALL things are put under him, (Jesus his Son) It is manifest (Or clearly shown and plainly understood) that He (Almighty God Himself) is EXCEPTED, which did put ALL things under HIM (Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God).

27. And when ALL things shall be subdued unto him, (The SON OF Almighty God the Father) then shall the SON ALSO HIMSELF be SUBJECT to HIM (Almighty God the Father) that put ALL things under him, (Jesus the SON OF God) that (Or so that or in order that) God (Almighty God the Father) may be all in all.”

Now, this is a rather long passage of Scripture so it may take you to read it several times to see that it is, in fact, Almighty God the Father who is the one who PUT all things under his SON Jesus. Yet ALL things are not yet completely put down, as in, permanently destroyed never to rise again. The enemy DEATH still remains to be completely destroyed. The STING of death has been destroyed, in that the fear of death is taken away but death itself along with Satan will not be completely done away with until the END of the 1000 year reign on the final day of judgment.

In other words, when Jesus comes again, he is coming to RULE and REIGN over his Father's kingdom for a literal 1000 years. You see, Almighty God the Father will commit the care of his kingdom into the hands of his SON Jesus for 1000 years. Then AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus, the last enemy, death, will be destroyed. For you see, Satan the devil will be destroyed also at this time clearly showing that the devil is the cause of death coming upon mankind. It is Satan who DECEIVES mankind to sin and NOT Almighty God as the cause of all evil as some FALSELY claim. Now, during those 1000 years in the world yet to come, Jesus will have ALL authority over everything put under him BY the FATHER with the EXCEPTION of his GOD and Father Almighty God NOT being under his Son Jesus. That is to say, Almighty God the Father will ALWAYS remain the MOST-HIGH GOD and still be GOD over his SON Jesus even during the 1000 year reign of his SON Jesus.

At the END of the 1000 year reign Jesus will DELIVER UP the kingdom of his Father BACK into the hands of HIS God, the Almighty and Most High God, the FATHER, so that God may once again be ALL and in ALL. To say this another way Jesus was, is now, and always will be UNDER and SUBJECT to HIS GOD and Father, Almighty God, the ONLY TRUE and WISE GOD. One could say that the 1000 year reign of his Son is the day of REST for Almighty God the Father, seeing a day is as 1000 years and 1000 years is as a day with Almighty God. And this SEVENTH DAY of 1000 years is fast approaching.

So then, the Bible without a doubt teaches that Almighty God the FATHER is the GOD of Jesus, therefore Jesus CANNOT possibly be God in the flesh, as in, Jesus as being FULLY God and fully a man at the SAME time and EQUAL to God the Father in every way where neither is greater than or less than the other as many of us have been WRONGLY TAUGHT by the DOCTRINES of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus.

Ephesians 1:17 says it this way.

“That THE GOD OF our Lord Jesus Christ, THE FATHER of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.”

Again, this verse leaves no doubt that the FATHER is THE GOD of Jesus Christ our Lord. There is just NO OTHER WAY to interpret these verses when they are interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God. They all clearly and emphatically state that the FATHER is the GOD OF or OVER his Son Jesus. Therefore Jesus cannot possibly be THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF as some FALSELY teach.

So then, while Jesus was on the earth as the Son of MAN, the word of TRUTH makes it quite CLEAR that Almighty God the FATHER was without a doubt the GOD OF or OVER his SON Jesus. But what about AFTER Jesus was raised from the dead, received his glorified body and ETERNAL LIFE and ascended into heaven? Well, let us take a look at the word of God and see what the BIBLE ITSELF has to say.

In the book of Revelation in chapter 3 and verse 12, we see Jesus speaking to one of the seven churches.

Revelation 3:12.

“He that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of MY GOD, and he shall no more go out: and I will write upon him the name of MY GOD, and the name of the city of MY GOD, which is the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from MY GOD: And I will write upon him my new name.”

Jesus tells us FOUR times in just this one verse that God the FATHER is HIS GOD. So even after Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended to his Father in heaven Jesus still calls his Father HIS GOD, because he says, “MY GOD” four times in this one verse.

So then, in the light of these verses of Scripture how can anyone say that Jesus IS God, as in, the Son of MAN being ONE and the SELFSAME divine eternal being as HIS God, THE ONE true and ONLY Almighty God the Father. Or claim that Jesus is EQUAL to Almighty God in every respect as the man-made DOCTRINE of the Trinity wrongly teaches?

The word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, certainly does not teach that Jesus IS God, as in, the SON OF God being one and the self-same DIVINE being as Almighty God the FATHER, nor does the Bible ITSELF teach us that Jesus is EQUAL to the Most-High God the Father where neither is less than nor greater than the other to try and prove that Jesus IS ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF and fully a man at the same time having TWO NATURES one DIVINE and one human. But rather the CLEAR, plain, and SIMPLE word of God teaches us that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God, the Father and that God the Father is ALSO the GOD OF or OVER his SON Jesus. This clearly shows that Jesus is UNDER and SUBJECT under Almighty God the FATHER. The very own words of Jesus himself make this TRUTH perfectly clear.

This TRUTH of God's word of Jesus being subordinate to HIS God and Father simply cannot be ignored and pretend like it doesn't exist in order to satisfy the doctrines of MEN, namely the doctrine of the trinity, the doctrine of the deity of Jesus and the Oneness doctrine sometimes known as Modalism. Therefore to DOGMATICALLY demand and teach that Jesus IS God in the flesh as being FULLY God and fully a man at the same time having TWO natures one divine and one human, as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus and the trinity teaches, is to blatantly ignore the word of TRUTH of Almighty God HIMSELF.

As I have already said the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God on this particular subject is somewhere down the MIDDLE between these two diametrically opposed teachings that have divided the church of Jesus Christ. In other words, there is SOME truth to be found in BOTH of these mainstream church teachings. But in truth, NEITHER the Oneness believers NOR the Trinitarian believers are teaching SOUND BIBLICAL teachings based upon the WHOLE word of God. On this particular subject under discussion in this study of God's word. the Bible itself teaches us clearly that Jesus is the SON OF God who came forth OUT FROM the one true and only Almighty God. I will explain what I mean by this further on in this study, but for now, the point that I want you to meditate upon day and night is that from the Bible ITSELF we have seen that Jesus calls Almighty God, the Father HIS GOD. Or you can read the study “JOHN 16:28 JESUS CAME FORTH FROM THE FATHER!” Now let us see what the Father says about his SON. In Hebrews 1:8,9 the writer is speaking in the third person referring to Almighty God the Father speaking to Jesus his SON.

Please read Hebrews 1:8,9.

“But unto the SON He (Almighty God the Father) says, Your throne, O, God, (Or your throne O “THEOS” which can be interpreted as your throne O mighty one or your throne O god with a little “g” showing us that Jesus is NOT THE God) is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

9. You (My SON Jesus) have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore (Or for this very reason of you my SON loving righteousness to obey all my will and hating sin) GOD EVEN YOUR GOD, has ANOINTED you above your fellows.”

Now, verse 8 is a verse that is used by those that teach the doctrine of the Trinity, the doctrine of Oneness, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus BY pointing out that, “God Himself called his Son Jesus GOD!  So, therefore, to THEM, Jesus IS GOD, as in, ONE and the SELF-SAME divine eternal being as Almighty God the Father. Then those that teach the doctrine of the Trinity follow up by saying that Jesus and God the Father are ONE, as in, they are EQUAL in every way where neither is less than nor greater than the other. So, therefore, according to the doctrine of the Trinity, the Father and his Son, Jesus, are separate persons of the ONE God and they are EQUAL in every respect. And both the Oneness Christians and the Trinitarian Christians CLOSE their minds to anyone who says anything different than what they teach. In other words, both Trinitarian Christians and Oneness Christians teach their followers that what they teach is the truth because Hebrews 1:8 says that Jesus IS God, plain and simple, case closed. And thereby they DECEIVE Christians into WRONGLY believing that ONLY Jesus can live without sin and heal people because Jesus IS God.

But this CANNOT possibly be what this verse means, because in the very next verse, in the same CONTEXT, Almighty God Himself says to his SON Jesus that He is even the God OF Jesus.

Please read Hebrews 1:9.

“You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity, therefore GOD (Almighty God the Father, the most-high God) EVEN YOUR GOD has ANOINTED you above your fellows.”

So then, Almighty God the Father himself says that he HIMSELF is THE GOD of or OVER his SON, Jesus in verse 9, the very next verse. And this is indeed in AGREEMENT with the rest of God's word. Whereas the INTERPRETATION of verse 8 by those that teach these man-made DOCTRINES of the trinity, the doctrine of Oneness, and of the deity of Jesus clearly CONTRADICT not only the above verse 9 from the Bible that we just read in Hebrews 1:9, which is the CONTEXT of the verse in question Hebrews 1:8 but many more multiple verses in God's word. Plain and simply the doctrine of the trinity, the doctrine of Oneness, and the deity of Jesus are NOT in AGREEMENT with the WHOLE word of God. ALL three of these man-made teachings are NOT SOUND Biblical teachings and therefore they should be rejected as being FALSE teachings. The word that is translated as “God” in the previous verse, verse 8, simply means “A” mighty one, or “A” god in this CONTEXT and NOT THE God as some would have you to believe by dogmatically demanding that Jesus is THE ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the flesh having TWO natures one DIVINE, and one human.

Please read Hebrews 1:8.

“But unto the SON He says, Your throne, O' God, (Or your throne O' MIGHTY ONE) is forever and ever...”

The Greek word here translated as God is “theos”, which can ALSO be translated with a small “g” as “god” meaning a lesser “god” like Satan, the god of this present world is not THE God.  You see dear children of God, this Greek word “THEOS” also carries the meaning in this CONTEXT to be one who has been given AUTHORITY by HIS God and Father, but is yet UNDER the rule of THE Almighty God the FATHER. This Greek word “theos” is the equivalent of the Hebrew word “elohim” which can be translated as “MIGHTY ONE”. In other words, Almighty God the Father is referring to his SON Jesus as “A” MIGHTY ONE and not “THE” mighty one, who alone is always clearly identified as being the FATHER. Simply put in my own words “God” or “theos” in Greek is just a “word” that simplifies an elaborate combination of meanings and ONE of those meanings is AUTHORITY, ruler, or one ruling.

So then, an easy way to understand what the Bible ITSELF means by there being just ONE God is to view the word “God”, as being “AUTHORITY”. In other words, THE one and only true God is ALMIGHTY God the Father, because he ALONE is the HIGHEST AUTHORITY. The Father is the MOST-HIGH God, the ALMIGHTY God. And there is NO OTHER God BESIDES Him, meaning that “THE” God is the SOURCE of all other “gods” whom he alone set up or exalted to become “gods” under Him just as the Bible teaches us in Isaiah 44:6,8.

Isaiah 44:6,8.

“6. Thus says the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of the host; I am the first and the last; and BESIDES me there is no other God…

...8. Fear you not, neither be afraid: have I not told you from that time, and have declared it? You are even my witnesses. Is there a God BESIDES me? Yea, there is NO GOD; I know not any.”

One of the meanings of the word “besides” means of degree; more than or in other words greater than. So there is NO OTHER God GREATER THAN Almighty God the Father and NOT that there are absolutely no OTHER gods period. The truth of the WHOLE matter is that there are INDEED other “gods” that are lesser in authority and ALL of these other lesser gods are UNDER the AUTHORITY of “THE” Almighty God the Father. Thus the Bible ITSELF does indeed teach us that Jesus is God, in that, Jesus is “a god” who is UNDER and SUBJECT to HIS God and Father, the ONE true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God being the SOURCE of ALL including his SON Jesus. Satan is called “the god of this world”, but he is NOT THE God of this world. Rather Satan is “A” god of this present world, which AUTHORITY he STOLE from mankind in the garden of Eden by DECEIVING man to SIN. 

Now, “Lucifer” before his rebellion to take over God's throne was indeed given godhood or authority to rule as a god over the earth BEFORE the creation of mankind, but because of his rebellion Almighty God cast Lucifer down off of his throne which God himself gave to him to be a god of the earth BEFORE the angel fell. For a deeper understanding of this subject please read the studies “WHO IS LUCIFER?-IS LUCIFER SATAN?”  and “UNDERSTANDING WHY?”, but for now, I want you to know and understand that God has even called US “gods” in his word. But this does not mean that we are one and the SAME as Almighty God the Father or EQUAL with Almighty God the Father. But rather the TRUE meaning of Isaiah 44:6-8 is that there is NO AUTHORITY other than that which has been GIVEN BY the greatest and HIGHEST GOD, the Father. For a deeper understanding of this subject please read my study in God's word called “OUR GOD IS ONE !”. But for now, let us continue looking at Jesus as the SON OF God.

Remember 1 Corinthians 8:5 says that there are in fact many gods, or as we have just learned, there are many “authorities” which is to say that there are many “lesser gods” whom THE God set up to become gods under him. And yes there are also many FALSE gods that are man-made gods which the Bible calls IDOLS. And then there are REBELLIOUS gods like Lucifer, who is now Satan the god of this present world along with his gods the other fallen angels who again stole the dominion over the earth from mankind by deceiving man to sin by disobeying God's one command to not eat of the tree of knowledge. But to us who are believers in Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God the Father, there is but ONE God, who is the highest authority and power which is over all things and from whom are all things and that this ONE MOST HIGH God IS the FATHER. And also to us believers in Jesus, there is only ONE Lord, who is Jesus the Christ, the SON OF the most-high Almighty God the Father.

Therefore, Hebrew 1:8,9 should read,

“But unto the SON He says, Your throne, O' god is forever, and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

9. You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity, therefore, GOD, even YOUR GOD, has ANOINTED you above your fellows.”

So then, by translating the word “theos” in verse 8 with a small “g” making the Son a god rather than the only true “God”, as in, the Almighty God then this keeps the Scriptures in complete harmony without having any CONTRADICTIONS.

You see, if one interprets Hebrews 1:8 as meaning Jesus IS God with a capital “G”, as in, THE ONE true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God, then this would CONTRADICT all these verses of Scripture that we just read. The whole word of God clearly and plainly teaches us, as Christians, that the Father is THE God OF and OVER His Son Jesus whom he Himself highly exalted to BECOME “A” god under his God and Father who ALONE is THE God over ALL including his SON Jesus. Plus there are many more multiple verses that we will also yet read in this study on Jesus being the SON OF God and NOT God, as in, Jesus being FULLY ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the flesh as many of us have PREVIOUSLY been taught. And some have blindly accepted as the truth knowing that the BIBLE ITSELF or the WHOLE word of God does NOT teach the man-made doctrines of the Trinity, the doctrine of Oneness, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus. The Father has highly exalted the Son of man, Jesus to be a God above his FELLOWS. Jesus it the CAPTAIN of our salvation. Jesus is our BROTHER whom the Father MADE Lord and God over us.

Here are some thoughts to ponder about Jesus indeed being a “theos” or “a” god, but NOT Jesus being THE ONE true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God, who is the FATHER ALONE.

#1. IF it were true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? In Luke 2:52 the Bible says this about Jesus when he was a child.

Luke 2:52.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

If Jesus were truly THE God or even EQUAL with God, AS or in the WAY many of us were taught, then why would he need FAVOR with God? And there would be no need for Jesus to INCREASE in wisdom, because IF Jesus were truly THE God, then Jesus would have already been the only true and ALL WISE God who already possesses ALL WISDOM, and therefore Jesus would not have needed to INCREASE in wisdom and favor WITH THE God.

The TRUTH of the matter is that Jesus is the SON OF THE only true God. Jesus is the Word, or word, the “LOGOS” or the SAYING, or the SPOKEN word that was WITHIN THE God, which THE God spoke forth out of his mouth and sent BY the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary and was MADE FLESH. The SPOKEN word or SAYING of THE God was CONCEIVED in the womb of Mary and BORN of a woman to BECOME the Son of MAN, a human being just like you and I, who would be called the SON OF God who was GIVEN the NAME Jesus or Yashua, which means the salvation of Yahweh or Yahweh saves. Please read the studies “JOHN 1:1--THE WORD WAS GOD!”, “WHAT DOES GOD INCARNATE MEAN?”, and  “DOES PHILIPPIANS 2:6-11 PROVE JESUS PRE_EXISTED?” These are just a few of the studies that I have that will give you the SOUND Biblical teaching of what the BIBLE ITSELF teaches us And that is that Jesus CAME OUT FROM WITHIN the God as God spoke forth the image within Himself that He desired to BE or be brought into existence where it never existed before, except WITHIN the God as His PLAN or will to be brought into existence. But for now, please know and understand the points taken from the CLEAR, PLAIN, and SIMPLE word of God with absolutely NO interpretation needed to teach us in SIMPLICITY that:

#1. IF it were true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? Jesus grew in wisdom and in the knowledge of HIS God and Father the same way that we or all human beings grow and increase in the FAVOR and knowledge of God. Our God is ALSO THE God OF and OVER Jesus his Son.

#2. IF Jesus were truly God or even EQUAL with Almighty God as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus states, then why did he need to PRAY to God?

We find many verses where Jesus PRAYED to God and his Father. Luke 6:12 is one such verse.

Luke 6:12.

“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to PRAY, and continued all night in PRAYER to GOD.”

Why would you PRAY to God if you were already God, FULLY God in the flesh? Almighty God would have no need to pray to HIMSELF, he would simply do or command whatever he wanted to be done.

The TRUTH of the matter is that God the Father is THE ALMIGHTY God and Jesus is the SON OF God. Luke 1:32 says that Jesus would be called the SON OF the Highest. Jesus is the SON of the MOST-HIGH GOD and NOT one and the same with the Father, or EQUAL with the Father. 

Now some will try and argue that humans beget humans who therefore have a human NATURE and divinity begets divinity so therefore Jesus has a DIVINE NATURE as well as a human nature being born of a woman BUT conceived BY DIVINITY.

To this argument I say is one's OWN personal INTERPRETATION whereas the word of TRUTH teaches us that THE God laid aside ALL His divine NATURE from His living word to BECOME FLESH as all humans are. Again, I implore you to please read the study “WHAT DOES GOD INCARNATE TRULY MEAN?” for ALL the verses that prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that Almighty God HIMSELF literally becomes everything He CREATES. This is NOT to say that a tree is God Himself but rather that God is the SOURCE of everything because God created everything. Everything has its BEING because of God who created it. Everything came out from God including His Son, Jesus. God created all things through His spoken word that came forth out from His MOUTH. And that divine word was stripped of its divine nature to become plant nature, rock nature, animal nature, and fully human nature. And when the word became FLESH ALL of its DIVINE NATURE was laid aside to BECOME a human being. The teaching of God the SON being INCARNATE is NOT sound Biblical teaching. Nor is the teaching of God incarnate REMAINING fully God in the flesh sound Biblical teaching. So read the study above to see WHY I say that when Almighty God himself literally became a human being he did NOT REMAIN fully God in the flesh as some Christians FALSELY teach, but rather THE God came to DWELL IN the flesh, the Son of MAN that he himself CREATED or brought forth into existence.

So then, we have seen from God's word thus far:

#1. IF it were true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures, one DIVINE, and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? Jesus grew in wisdom and in the knowledge of HIS God and Father the same way that we or all human beings grow and increase in the FAVOR and knowledge of God. Our God is ALSO THE God OF and OVER Jesus His Son.

#2. IF Jesus were truly God or even EQUAL with Almighty God as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus states, then why did he need to PRAY to God?

Now let us look at point number three.

#3. IF Jesus were truly God. Then why does the Bible teach that Jesus was SENT BY Almighty God his God and Father?

There are many verses in the word of God which clearly show that Almighty God the Father SENT his SON to redeem mankind from sin. The Bible says the following about Jesus being SENT BY Almighty God the Father. Jesus himself plainly states that he was SENT by his Father 41 times in the gospel of John alone. I will expound on only a few verses to show that there is no question that God the Father and his SON Jesus are completely two separate and different beings, where God the Father is ALWAYS ABOVE or GREATER than his SON. Also please know and understand that the LITERAL meaning of the Greek word that has been TRANSLATED as “SENT” means “COMMISSIONED” and the word commission means to qualify or empower the one appointed to a task to be empowered to be able to accomplish a task that one is given to do. This is what Jesus as being the CHRIST means. The word “CHRIST” means that Jesus was ANOINTED with POWER from on high to become EMPOWERED to accomplish the task that his God and Father COMMISSIONED or SENT his Son out into the world to accomplish, which was do ALL the WILL of his God and Father. And it was only AFTER Jesus completed his task to do all the will of his God and Father that THE ONE true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER highly exalted his SON Jesus to become a god, a “THEOS” who would sit at his own right hand to be second in command and authority over all along WITH his God and Father on his Father's throne.

Let us begin with John 3:16,17.

“For God so loved the world that He GAVE his only BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17. For God SENT not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Now, Trinitarian Christians INTERPRET John 3:16 as God gave His already pre-existed God the Son that He sent down from heaven to incarnate himself to become flesh. But the Bible ITSELF teaches us that God gave His HUMAN Son of MAN to die on the cross. Let us look at the order of events in the order that they are PROPHESIED.

Please read Isaiah 9:6,7.

“For (Order of event #1 that has already been FULFILLED) unto us, a CHILD is BORN, (THEN comes Order of event #2 that has also already been FULFILLED) unto us a son is given: and (And THEN Order of event #3 is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED) the government shall be upon his shoulder: and (And THEN will come Order of event #4 is  YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED WHEN the government will be set upon the shoulder of Jesus IN the world to come) his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 

I7.  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

In other words, according to the PROPHECY, a human CHILD is born first and THEN the Son of MAN was GIVEN as the atonement for the sins of the word. And THEN, in the world to come the now highly exalted Son of MAN shall be called the Mighty God who will rule FOR Yahweh during Yahweh's seventh 1000 year-long Sabbath rest. Also, notice that it is Yahweh Himself who PERFORMS His own word of prophecy. So in truth, Yahweh created himself another God to replace Lucifer. But before Jesus reigns as the God of the whole earth Yahweh needed a MAN to live without sin so Yahweh could judge Lucifer and the fallen angels guilty as charged. Clearly, the Scripture teaches us that Jesus was fully a human being void of any divine nature during the days of his flesh. Jesus says in John 5:30 that he could do NOTHING OF HIMSELF.

John 5:30.

“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of my Father which SENT me.”

There are a couple of things in this one verse alone that contradict the INTERPRETATION or reasoning of the doctrine of the trinity and the deity of Jesus or being EQUAL with his God and Father. Jesus himself says of himself that he of his OWN self could do NOTHING. Other verses clearly teach us that it was the FATHER who DWELT IN his Son Jesus who did the mighty WORKS men saw Jesus doing like healing the sick and casting out devils. Then how can Jesus be one and the self-same being as the Father and also be SENT by his God and Father out into the world? This brings us to point number four on which to ponder, but before we move on to this next point please read over the first three points to build them in your inner man.

#1. IF it were true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? Jesus grew in wisdom and in the knowledge of HIS God and Father the same way that we or all human beings grow and increase in the FAVOR and knowledge of God. Our God is ALSO THE God OF and OVER Jesus his Son.

#2. IF Jesus were truly God or even EQUAL with Almighty God as the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus states, then why did he need to PRAY to God?

#3. IF Jesus were truly God. Then why does the Bible teach that Jesus was SENT BY Almighty God his God and Father?

#4. IF Jesus were truly God the Son, being FULLY God in the flesh as the doctrines of the trinity and deity of Jesus teaches, then why does the Bible teach that Jesus could do NOTHING of HIMSELF?

Jesus plainly states that he could do NOTHING of HIMSELF. Look at John 5:19 along with the last part of John 14:10.

John 5:19.

“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily verily, (Or Truly, truly) I say unto you, The SON can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do, these also the SON does likewise...

John 14:10.

...The words that I speak unto you I speak not of MYSELF: but the FATHER that dwells in me HE does the work.”

Therefore, if Jesus were truly God as many of us have been taught, then he would NOT have made this statement of himself, for the word of God tells us that NOTHING is impossible with God.

The TRUTH of the matter is that while Jesus was on the earth in the days of his flesh he was the Son of MAN being 100% a HUMAN BEING without having any divine nature or deity as the mainstream ORTHODOX church denominations dogmatically demand that Christians MUST believe in order to be saved. The Bible calls this the days of his FLESH. 

Now, this is NOT to say that Jesus was never divine. And this is NOT to say that Jesus does not have divine nature NOW. But rather, the BIBLE ITSELF makes it blatantly clear that Jesus was NOT a DIVINE human being having two natures, a divine nature, and human nature at the same time while Jesus was on the earth DURING the days of his FLESH. I will briefly summarize the life of Jesus from eternity past all the way till now further on in this study and for a deeper understanding of the nature of Jesus being that of the Son of MAN please read the study “JESUS THE SON OF MAN”

The second contradiction we find in John 5:30 above brings us to number five of the things to ponder, but again first read over and over again all the points we have covered to write them upon your heart and upon your mind.

#1. IF it is true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures, one DIVINE, and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? Jesus grew in wisdom and in the knowledge of HIS God and Father the same way that we or all human beings grow and increase in the FAVOR and knowledge of God. Our God is ALSO THE God OF and OVER Jesus his Son.

#2. IF Jesus was truly God or even EQUAL with Almighty God as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus states, then why did he need to PRAY to God?

#3. IF Jesus was truly God. Then why does the Bible teach that Jesus was SENT BY Almighty God his God and Father?

#4. IF Jesus was truly God the Son, being FULLY God in the flesh as the doctrines of the Trinity and deity of Jesus teaches, then why does the Bible teach that Jesus could do NOTHING of HIMSELF?

#5. IF Jesus was truly God the Son, the second person of the Trinity but yet one and the same with the Almighty God the Father as many of us have been taught, then why does the Bible bother to say that Jesus had a WILL of his OWN?

Let us read John 5:30 again.

“I can of my own self DO NOTHING: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not MY OWN WILL, but the WILL of my FATHER which SENT me.”

It is clear from this verse that Jesus had a WILL of his OWN, which we will look at later in this study. Obviously, Jesus could NOT possibly be FULLY the ONE true and only ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the flesh, as in, being one and the same with God the Father, because one cannot have TWO separate and different WILLS at the same time.

The TRUTH of the matter is that BOTH the Father and the Son each had their OWN will, but Jesus, the SON of God the Father, conformed his own will to BECOME OBEDIENT to do ALL the Father's will even to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the whole world.

Let us again review the first five points before we move on to reasons to ponder number six.

#1. IF it is true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? Jesus grew in wisdom and in the knowledge of HIS God and Father the same way that we or all human beings grow and increase in the FAVOR and knowledge of God. Our God is ALSO THE God OF and OVER Jesus his Son.

#2. IF Jesus was truly God or even EQUAL with Almighty God as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus states, then why did he need to PRAY to God?

#3. IF Jesus was truly God. Then why does the Bible teach that Jesus was SENT BY Almighty God his God and Father?

#4. IF Jesus was truly God the Son, being FULLY God in the flesh as the doctrines of the trinity and deity of Jesus teaches, then why does the Bible teach that Jesus could do NOTHING of HIMSELF?

#5. IF Jesus was truly God the Son, the second person of the Trinity, but yet one and the same with the Almighty God the Father as many of us have been taught, then why does the Bible bother to say that Jesus had a WILL of his OWN?

Now let us continue with point number six.

#6. IF Jesus were truly God in the flesh and EQUAL to God the Father in every way like the doctrine of Oneness, the doctrine of the trinity, and the doctrine of the deity of Jesus teaches, then Jesus would have never plainly said that God the Father is GREATER THAN ALL. How can one be GREATER THAN ALL and EQUAL at the same time? Or how can one be GREATER than HIMSELF if so be that the doctrine of Oneness is true?

Jesus said in John 13:16 these words.

“Verily, verily, (Which is to say, truly, truly) I say unto you, The SERVANT is NOT GREATER than his lord; neither is he GREATER than he that SENT him.”

Now I know that this verse is not directly speaking of Jesus from the context. But the Bible does teach that Jesus is a SERVANT of the Lord God and as God's servant Jesus was SENT by God the Father. Please read “JESUS OUR FELLOW SERVANT”! for a deeper understanding of Jesus being a SERVANT of Almighty God the Father.

Also, Jesus plainly states that the FATHER is GREATER than ALL in John 10:29,30 which by the way is where Jesus also says of himself that he and his Father are one.

John 10:29,30.

“My Father which gave them me is GREATER THAN ALL; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30. I and my Father are one.”

Now those that teach the doctrine of the Trinity use verse 30 to show that Jesus and the Father are ONE, as in one and the same, and EQUAL in every respect, because Jesus himself said, I and my Father are ONE.

But there is NO WAY that this INTERPRETATION by those who teach the doctrine of the trinity and the oneness believers can possibly be correct, in that, Jesus and the Father are one and the same being or EQUAL in every respect because in the preceding verse Jesus himself clearly and plainly says that the Father is GREATER than ALL. The one who is SENT or commissioned is NOT GREATER than the one who has sent or empowered him. God the Father SENT his Son out into the world to reconcile the world back to God the Father.

And the ONENESS believers use this same verse to try and prove that Jesus IS the FATHER, as in, ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING.

The TRUTH of the matter is that the BIBLE ITSELF clearly teaches us that God the Father is GREATER than his SON and that Jesus, the SON OF God, is UNDER and SUBJECT unto his GOD and FATHER the ONE true and only Almighty God, the Most-High God.

Jesus came from God. John 8:42 says that Jesus PROCEEDED forth from God.

John 8:42.

“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I PROCEEDED FORTH and CAME from God; neither CAME I of myself, but he SENT me.”

Jesus shows us plainly that he is the SON of God and that God is his Father and ALSO his God and Father is the ONLY TRUE GOD. 

Take a look at John 17:1-3.

“These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, FATHER, the hour is come, glorify YOUR SON, that YOUR SON may also glorify YOU.

2. As YOU have GIVEN him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as YOU have GIVEN him.

3. And THIS is life eternal (WHAT is ETERNAL LIFE?), that they may KNOW YOU (God the Father) the ONLY TRUE GOD, AND Jesus Christ whom YOU have SENT.”

In other words, IF we want to obtain ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come we must BELIEVE in and KNOW BOTH of these TWO TRUTHS: That we must believe in Almighty God the FATHER to be the ONLY TRUE GOD, AND we must ALSO believe in and KNOW that Jesus is the Christ the SON OF Almighty God the Father. In other words, this verse along with John 17:3 are teaching us about TWO persons or beings and we must believe in BOTH in order to obtain eternal life in the world to come. This verse makes it blatantly clear, without a doubt, that these words were spoken by Jesus Christ, the SON OF God telling us that Almighty God the FATHER is the ONLY TRUE GOD.  But in order to have true faith in Almighty God the FATHER, then we MUST believe in his SON Jesus. Thus, we are IN HIM speaking of the Father who is TRUE by being IN his SON Jesus.

To us, there is but ONE God, the FATHER and there is ONE Lord, Jesus Christ his only begotten SON that God the Father SENT out into the world. The Greek word “apostello” translated as “SENT” literally means COMMISSIONED. It is where we get the English word “apostle”, which means to send out on a MISSION.

1 Thessalonians 1:9,10.

“For they themselves show us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and TRUE GOD;

10. And to wait for HIS (The TRUE God's) SON from heaven, whom HE (The TRUE God, Almighty God the Father) raised from the dead, even JESUS, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”

God the FATHER is the ONLY LIVING TRUE GOD who has always possessed LIFE or IMMORTALITY within himself having no beginning and Jesus is his SON who Almighty God raised from the dead and then GAVE his SON to HAVE life in himself even as the Father HAS life in himself. Jesus came to SHOW us the Father that we may KNOW God the Father as the ONLY TRUE GOD and that Jesus was his SON that was SENT by or commissioned by the Father. And if we believe this we will keep his commandments and thereby obtain eternal life in the world to come, IF SO BE that we ENDURE unto the END and REMAIN FAITHFUL to keep the COMMANDMENTS of God.

1 John 5:20 says.

“And we know that the SON of God is come, and has given us an UNDERSTANDING, that we may KNOW HIM (God the Father) that is TRUE, and we are in HIM, (Again, God the Father) in (Or through) His SON Jesus Christ. THIS is the TRUE GOD AND eternal life.”

Remember what we learned earlier from John 17:1-3 that we must believe in and KNOW BOTH: Almighty God the FATHER, the ONLY TRUE GOD, AND His SON Jesus whom Almighty God the Father SENT in order to obtain ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come. This same TRUTH is repeated to us here in 1 John 5:20 that we KNOW Almighty God the FATHER as the TRUE God and that we are IN the Father THROUGH or BY His SON Jesus the Christ, the ANOINTED one of Almighty God the Father. And THIS: KNOWING the FATHER is TRUE, AND that we are IN HIM if we are IN His SON is ETERNAL LIFE.

Now those that teach the Trinity and the deity of Jesus interpret this verse to mean that the true God IS Jesus. But in the light of all the verses of Scripture that you have read thus far in this study clearly show that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God and that Almighty God the FATHER is the ONLY TRUE and wise God. The subject of the verse is the UNDERSTANDING which Jesus came to give to us of his Father that we may KNOW the Father as being TRUE. THIS is the TRUE God. AND KNOWING that we are IN the FATHER because we are IN Jesus THIS is ETERNAL LIFE. In other words, we must have BOTH the Father AND the SON in order to obtain ETERNAL LIFE. Coming to the KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH is eternal life. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to or KNOW the KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH. Please read 2 John verses 7-11 which teaches us about the DOCTRINE of CHRIST which is the teaching of God's word that Jesus the SON of God was ANOINTED of Almighty God the Father with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God. The word CHRIST simply means the ANOINTING of the SON of MAN with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God.

2 John 1:7-11.

“For many DECEIVERS are entered into the world, who confess NOT that Jesus Christ has come in the FLESH. THIS is a DECEIVER and an antichrist.

8. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9. Whosoever transgresses, and abides NOT in the DOCTRINE of CHRIST, (Or whosoever abides NOT in the teaching that Jesus was the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God the Father) has NOT God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has BOTH the Father and the Son.

10. If there come any unto you, and bring NOT this DOCTRINE, (In other words if ANY of YOU bring NOT this DOCTRINE or BIBLICAL TEACHING that Jesus is the CHRIST, the ANOINTED ONE Of Almighty God the Father) receive him NOT into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11. For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

Now for ME, if I were to hold fast to the man-made DOCTRINE of the Trinity and the deity of Jesus as being true and Jesus being FULLY GOD in the FLESH, then for ME I would NOT be believing what the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us. And that is that Almighty God HIMSELF literally BECAME FLESH, as in, becoming COMPLETELY and FULLY 100% FLESH laying aside ALL of the DIVINE NATURE of His spoken word of prophecy that took on the NATURE of HUMAN FLESH. And I also would NOT be believing that Almighty God the Father HIMSELF DWELT IN the FLESH body of His SON Jesus if so be that I was to hold fast to what the doctrine of the Trinity teaches And again, that which the doctrine of the Trinity teaches is that Jesus is ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF and a man at the same time, having TWO natures, one divine. and one human. And to me, for Jesus to have two natures would consequently require Jesus to also have TWO WILLS as well, his OWN divine will, and his OWN human will. For ME, I must see that the spoken word of PROPHECY that Almighty God HIMSELF spoke forth out from Himself literally BECOMING FLESH, as in, the living prophesied word of God became a man just like any other man or woman without having ANY divine nature

So for ME, I myself must believe what the WHOLE word of God ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY, which is to see Jesus as a HUMAN BEING who was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God the Father. Otherwise, for ME, I would be an ANTI-CHRIST or one who is AGAINST the  DOCTRINE of the ANOINTING of Jesus the MAN who BECAME the SON OF God beginning at his human birth. And then, after the cross, the human Son of man, Jesus became the eternal divine Son of God. For you see, Jesus was MADE perfect being COMPLETED at his DIVINE birth being raised from the dead and GIVEN the DIVINE nature of IMMORTALITY by his God and Father as his reward for doing ALL the will of his God and Father the one true and only ALMIGHTY God.

Can you not see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus the Christ, that believing that Jesus IS God in the FLESH being FULLY God in the FLESH is AGAINST the DOCTRINE of CHRIST, the teaching that Jesus was ANOINTED of Almighty God the Father. Now some may say that this is NOT so, because this doctrine of the trinity and deity of Jesus also teaches that Jesus is FULLY MAN, BUT in TRUTH do they REALLY and TRULY BELIEVE that Jesus is FULLY MAN? 

Let me explain to you what I mean by this. Some SAY that they BELIEVE that Jesus is FULLY MAN, but yet when you ask them if they are living WITHOUT SIN, they IMMEDIATELY say that ONLY Jesus was able to live WITHOUT SIN. And the REASON they say that ONLY Jesus was able to live WITHOUT SIN is BECAUSE all their focus is on Jesus being FULLY God, or that Jesus is the SON OF God, but never have I myself ever heard a Trinitarian or an Oneness believer TRULY say that Jesus was the Son of MAN who was ANOINTED with the POWER of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God as being the REASON that Jesus was ENABLED or EMPOWER by his God and Father to live his life WITHOUT SIN. Every sermon or teaching that I myself have ever heard is that ONLY Jesus can live without sin BECAUSE he was GOD Himself in the flesh and NOT that Jesus was ANOINTED with the power of the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him, which is exactly what the word of TRUTH itself teaches us in simplicity. Keep reading and you will see this for yourself directly from God's word.

The TRUTH of the matter is the REASON of why that Jesus was able to live his life WITHOUT SIN was NOT because he was GOD HIMSELF, but rather it was because Jesus was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God. And thus it was for this REASON that THROUGH the ETERNAL SPIRIT of Almighty God who EMPOWERED Jesus to live his life WITHOUT SIN. 

Please read Hebrews 9:14.

“How much more shall the blood of CHRIST, (Speaking of Jesus the ANOINTED one of Almighty God) who THROUGH the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot (Or the Son of MAN, Jesus, THROUGH the power or ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God offered himself WITHOUT SIN) to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

THIS DOCTRINE of CHRIST, the DOCTRINE of the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God is BELIEVING in the TRUE God AND in His SON Jesus whom he HIMSELF ANOINTED before SENDING Jesus into the world. The word SENT means to COMMISSION. And the word commission means to GIVE the ability and authority to accomplish the task that his God and Father commissioned or sent Jesus out into the world after his baptism. God endued His SON Jesus with power from on high to complete or do His God and Father's will. And this is the PRINCIPAL doctrine of the Christian FAITH and NOT the FALSE man-made DOCTRINES of the Trinity, the deity of Jesus, and the Oneness doctrines.

Of course, as always, I am just a messenger of the word of God as what I myself have come to believe as it has been delivered to me by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God. And, therefore, I leave it to YOU, the seeker of the TRUTH, to make your OWN choice of HOW you yourself want to choose to believe. All that I am asking is that you thoroughly weigh ALL the evidence from the WHOLE word of God BEFORE you judge the matter.

Let us continue with Jesus being the SON of God in Romans 16:27 which says.

Romans 16:27.

“To God ONLY WISE, be the glory through Jesus Christ forever, Amen.”

In other words, to God, Almighty God the Father, the ONLY WISE GOD, be the glory THROUGH His SON Jesus the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one of Almighty God the Father forever, Amen. You see my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, to us, as Christians, the Bible says that there is but ONE God, the FATHER, who is the ONLY TRUE and ONLY WISE God, and Jesus the CHRIST is his SON.

Point number seven of things to ponder is that the Bible itself says that Jesus, EVEN being the SON OF Almighty God did not KNOW the day, nor the hour of his return, when at the exact SAME time his God and Father in heaven DID KNOW that day and the hour of His SON'S return. But before we get into this point let us again review the first six points reading them over, again and again, to write them upon your heart and your mind. This is called MEDITATING on God's word to CLOSELY consider ALL of God's word in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God.

#1. IF it were true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? Jesus grew in wisdom and in the knowledge of HIS God and Father the same way that we or all human beings grow and increase in the FAVOR and knowledge of God. Our God is ALSO THE God OF and OVER Jesus his Son.

#2. IF Jesus were truly God or even EQUAL with Almighty God as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus states, then why did he need to PRAY to God?

#3. IF Jesus were truly God. Then why does the Bible teach that Jesus was SENT BY Almighty God his God and Father?

#4. IF Jesus were truly God the Son, being FULLY God in the flesh as the doctrines of the trinity and deity of Jesus teaches, then why does the Bible teach that Jesus could do NOTHING of HIMSELF?

#5. IF Jesus was truly God the Son, the second person of the Trinity, but yet one and the same with the Almighty God the Father as many of us have been taught, then why does the Bible bother to say that Jesus had a WILL of his OWN?

#6. IF Jesus were truly God in the flesh and EQUAL to God the Father in every way like the doctrine of Oneness, the doctrine of the trinity, and the doctrine of the deity of Jesus teaches, then Jesus would have never plainly said that God the Father is GREATER THAN ALL. How can one be GREATER THAN ALL and EQUAL at the same time? Or how can one be GREATER than HIMSELF if so be that the doctrine of Oneness is true?

Now let us move on to point number seven.

#7. IF Jesus was truly God in the flesh, and ONE and the SAME with the Father and EQUAL with the Father in every respect as the man-made doctrines of the trinity and deity of Jesus teaches, then Jesus would have KNOWN the hour and the day of his return because the Bible clearly says that God is all-knowing and KNOWS ALL things. Clearly Almighty God the FATHER KNEW or KNOWS so therefore IF Jesus was TRULY Almighty God, FULLY God in the FLESH, then Jesus would have no doubt KNOWN the day and hour of his return. But the word of TRUTH CLEARLY and PLAINLY states that Jesus the SON of God DID NOT KNOW. Therefore, to ME, Jesus was NOT FULLY God in the FLESH. Whatever the WORD was, in the BEGINNING, the Bible says the Word was MADE flesh or the Word BECAME flesh. The Bible also teaches us that whatever FORM Jesus was BEFORE this Word of God BECAME flesh that he LEFT BEHIND this form or nature and took upon himself the form or NATURE of MAN. This is WHAT the WHOLE word of God teaches. Jesus was the Son of MAN as well as being the SON of God.

Take a look at Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32 which teaches us that Jesus the SON of God DID NOT KNOW at the SAME time that his God and Father DID KNOW. This to me proves that the two are NOT the SAME, nor are the two EQUAL in every way as the man-made DOCTRINE of the trinity FALSELY teaches.

Matthew 24:36.

“But of that day and hour KNOWS NO man, no, not the angels of heaven, but MY FATHER ONLY.”

Mark 13:32.

“But of that day and that hour KNOWS NO man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, NEITHER the SON, but the FATHER.”

These verses make it blatantly clear that God the Father KNOWS the day and the hour, but yet at the very same time Jesus the SON of God did NOT KNOW. The Bible makes it clear that the Father KNOWS the day and the hour and the SON did NOT know the day or the hour at the SAME moment in time. So to teach that Jesus is God in the flesh being FULLY God in the FLESH is to again blatantly ignore the WHOLE word of God.

The TRUTH of the matter is that the Word was MADE flesh and dwelt among men. Jesus was a MAN just like you and me in every respect except for the fact that he did not GIVE IN to temptation at any time and lived his entire life from his baptism to the cross without sin. But the word of God does not end there. 

Please read 1 Peter 2:21.

“For EVEN HERE UNTO were YOU CALLED: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE; that we should FOLLOW HIS STEPS:”

WHAT STEPS are we as Christians CALLED to FOLLOW? WHAT EXAMPLE did Jesus leave for us to FOLLOW? The answer is in the very next verse in 1 Peter 2:22 which says Jesus did not sin.

1 Peter 2:22.

“Who did NO SIN, neither was guile found in his mouth.”

The point that I want you to see is that Trinitarian Christians teach that Jesus lived without sin because he was Almighty God Himself in the flesh. They also, teach that ONLY Jesus can live without sin which is another direct contradiction to the word of Almighty God. For you see, God has called us to live without sin as well. But that would be impossible if so be that Jesus was fully Almighty God and fully human at the same time having two natures, one divine, and one human.

The truth is that Jesus lived his life from the time he was baptized in complete obedience to the will of his God and Father by putting away his OWN will to show us the WAY. For a deeper understanding of what being saved means according to the Bible and not the doctrines of men please read the study “I AM THE WAY, WHAT DID JESUS MEAN?” and “HOW TO LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN”.

The word “guile” here means deceit, subtle, craftiness. We are called by God to speak the TRUTH. There was NO guile found in the mouth of Jesus who was our EXAMPLE to FOLLOW. So then, to keep hold of the DECEIVING doctrine of the trinity and the deity of Jesus would NOT be walking in the WAY that Jesus set for us to walk.

When the light of God's word comes to us, then we are to walk in the light. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. The point I am trying to make is that while Jesus was on the earth, he was 100% man just like you and I and was tempted in all points like you and I are tempted. Yet Jesus did NOT give in to temptation and sin. If you want to know how then please read “JESUS THE CHRIST!”. For now, let us continue with point number eight of things to ponder, but again, as a practice I want you to read through all eight things to ponder in order to get you into the habit of MEDITATING on God's word. For the remainder of these 19 points, I will not include the previous points as I have been doing. You can also read the study “37 FACT TO PONDER ABOUT JESUS BEING GOD!”

#1. IF it were true that Jesus was God in the flesh, AS or in the WAY that many of us have been taught in that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human, then why would the Bible teach that Jesus INCREASED in wisdom and in FAVOR with God? #7. IF Jesus was truly God in the flesh, and ONE and the SAME with the Father and EQUAL with the Father in every respect as the man-made doctrines of the Trinity and Deity of Jesus teaches, then Jesus would have KNOWN the hour and the day of his return because the Bible clearly says that God is all-knowing and KNOWS ALL things. Clearly Almighty God the FATHER KNEW or KNOWS. So, therefore, IF Jesus was TRULY Almighty God, as in, FULLY God in the FLESH, then Jesus would have no doubt KNOWN the day and hour of his return. But the word of TRUTH CLEARLY and PLAINLY states that Jesus the SON of God DID NOT KNOW. Therefore, to ME, Jesus was NOT FULLY God in the FLESH. Whatever the WORD was, in the BEGINNING, the Bible says the Word was MADE flesh or the Word BECAME flesh. And, according to some translations of the Bible of Philippians 2:6, whatever FORM Jesus was BEFORE the Word of God BECAME flesh those translations say that he or it LEFT BEHIND this form or divine nature and took upon himself the form or NATURE of MAN. This is WHAT the WHOLE word of God teaches. Jesus was the Son of MAN as well as being the SON of God. And DURING the days of his FLESH, the Son of God did not have any divine nature. The Son of man, Jesus was GIVEN the divine nature of immortality AFTER the cross. I believe that Philippians 2:6 means that Jesus came to be in the form of God and opposed to Jesus pre-existing in the eternity past in the form of God. Please read the study “PHILIPPIAN 2:6-8 PROVES THAT JESUS PRE-EXISTED!”

But for now, let us continue taking a CLOSE look at the remaining 12 points to ponder about Jesus being God, but NOT THE one true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God who alone is the FATHER. These 19 points to ponder concerning Jesus being called by the title God has grown to become over 37 points to ponder. So I have made it a study on its own which you can read later. “37 FACTS TO PONDER ABOUT JESUS BEING GOD!”

#8. IF Jesus was truly God in the flesh as the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus teaches, then how was Jesus TEMPTED seeing he was GOD and the Bible plainly and clearly says that GOD CANNOT be TEMPTED?

Hebrews 4:15 tells us that Jesus was TEMPTED in ALL points LIKE as we are, but that he did not give in to what he was tempted with and sin.

Hebrews 4:15.

“For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points TEMPTED like as we are, yet without sin.”

So the Bible makes it blatantly clear that Jesus was TEMPTED in the way that WE are tempted. But the Bible ALSO clearly shows us that GOD CANNOT be TEMPTED with evil.

Take a look at James 1:13.

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for GOD CANNOT be TEMPTED with evil, neither tempts he any man:”

So in the light of these verses of Scripture, it is NOT possible for Jesus to be God in the flesh because God CANNOT be TEMPTED and Jesus was TEMPTED. The doctrine of the trinity and the deity of Jesus CONTRADICT God's word in so many places that anyone who truly desires to know the TRUTH needs only to ponder these verses and weigh the evidence of the WHOLE word of God.

I will give you a few more thoughts to ponder about Jesus being the SON of God and NOT God in the flesh as many of us have been falsely taught.

#9. IF Jesus was truly God and EQUAL with God the Father, as in One and the same with the Father, then he would be able to do all things. Nothing is impossible with God. But the word of God says that Jesus COULD NOT do any mighty work of healing in his own home town. 

Look at Mark 5:5.

“And he could there do NO MIGHTY WORK, save he laid his hands on a few sick folks, and healed them.”

#10. IF Jesus was truly God the Son and EQUAL to God the Father as the doctrine of the trinity teaches, then he would not have the need to be ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of God the Father. If Jesus was FULLY God and FULLY man at the SAME time, as the doctrine of the deity of Jesus states, then he would already have the Holy Spirit within him because God is SPIRIT.

Please read Acts 10:38.

“How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD was WITH him.”

The TRUTH of the matter is that Jesus was the Son of MAN that was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of GOD his Father, the SAME Holy Spirit which is made available to every believer. All that Jesus did was through the POWER of the Holy Spirit. I cover this topic in the study called “JESUS THE CHRIST!”, “JESUS THE SON OF MAN!”, and the “POWER AND THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER!” if you would like to know more about this subject.

#11. IF Jesus was truly God and EQUAL with the Father, then all that the Father was, then Jesus would be ALSO. But when Jesus was called GOOD he said that there was none GOOD but the FATHER.

Matthew 19:16,17.

“And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may inherit eternal life?

17. And he said unto him, Why call you me GOOD? There is none GOOD BUT ONE, that is, GOD: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments.”

#12. IF  Jesus were truly God, then surely he would have known this and proclaimed himself as the ONLY TRUE GOD with no other God beside him as Almighty God does in the Old Testament. Yet Jesus NEVER proclaimed himself God, but rather to be the Son of MAN 80 times even when he was called the Son of God he turned it around and said he was the Son of MAN. Please refer to the study called “JESUS THE SON OF MAN” for all these verses.

But yet, Jesus himself clearly identified his God and Father as being the ONLY TRUE God in John 17:3.

John 17:1-3.

“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You: 

2.  As, You have GIVEN him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as You have given him. (And according to John 5:26,27, this power was given to the Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross BECAUSE he was the Son of MAN and NOT because he was God the Son incarnate. Some Christians twist the Scriptures to claim that the Father restored the power to Jesus that God the Son laid aside to become flesh. If that were true then why will Jesus step down from being God of the whole earth after the 1000 year reign of Jesus? The TRUTH is that the Son of MAN was highly exalted to become a God to rule for Yahweh or 1000 years. God needed a MAN so that He could JUDGE the fallen and angels and consequently the world as well BY the MAN Jesus Christ)

3. And THIS IS life eternal, THAT they might know YOU the ONLY TRUE God, AND Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” 

Again, the Greek word translated as “sent” means COMMISSIONED which means to GIVE power and authority to someone to accomplish the task they were given to accomplish. So then, God sent the Son of MAN after God EMPOWER him with the ANOINTING at his baptism.

#13. IF Jesus were God in the flesh, then he would have no need of being EXALTED by God the FATHER.

Philippians 2:8-11 says.

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross.

9. WHEREFORE GOD has HIGHLY EXALTED him, and GIVEN him a name which is above every name:

10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11. And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of GOD the FATHER.”

Notice that God the Father did not EXALT his SON until AFTER he BECAME obedient to death on the cross. It was only AFTER Jesus was faithful unto death to be obedient to God the Father that His God and Father HIGHLY EXALTED him, GIVING him a name above every other name. And it was all to the GLORY of GOD the FATHER.

#14. IF Jesus were truly God the Son and EQUAL to the Father, as in, ONE and the same as Almighty God Himself, then he would not need to have been GIVEN LIFE within HIMSELF, even as the FATHER has life within himself.

Read John 5:26,27 which says.

“For as the Father has life in himself; so has He GIVEN TO the SON to HAVE LIFE in himself.

27  And has given him authority to execute judgment also BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”

If Jesus was God in the flesh as many of us were taught then he would already have had eternal life within him.

#15. IF Jesus was truly God, then he would not need to have been GIVEN AUTHORITY by God the FATHER.

John 5:27 says.

“And has GIVEN him the AUTHORITY to execute judgment also,(WHY?) BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”

First, I want you to notice that it was GOD the FATHER that GAVE Jesus the AUTHORITY that he had AFTER the cross. And then notice that the REASON that Jesus had been GIVEN the AUTHORITY over the earth was due to the fact that he was the Son of MAN. The Scripture says BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN and NOT because he is God the Son. Please read the study “UNDERSTANDING WHY?” and “JESUS THE SON OF MAN” for a deeper understanding of why it was necessary for Jesus to be 100% man when he came to be the sacrifice for mankind.

#16. IF Jesus was truly God and EQUAL with God the FATHER, then the Father would not have COMMANDED his Son, but rather Jesus would have already known what to do. Also, one who is EQUAL with another does not COMMAND them but rather asks or requests of them.

John 14:31 says.

“But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the FATHER gave me COMMANDMENT, even so, I do...”

Again, the commandment was given to the Son of MAN that he could choose of his own free will to lay down his life for the sins of the world or he could choose to not die on the cross. And the Son of MAN, Jesus said to his God and Father, not my will but rather, Father, YOUR WILL be done.

#17. IF Jesus were truly God, then he would not have slept, for God does not sleep or slumber.

Psalm 121:4 says.

“Behold, He that keeps Israel shall NOT slumber or sleep.”

#18. Jesus could NOT have been God in the flesh, because the Bible says that NO man has seen God and lived except the SON.

Look at Exodus 33:20 which says.

“And he said, you cannot see my face: for there shall NO MAN SEE ME and live.”

John 1:18 says.

“NO MAN has SEEN God at ANY TIME; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.”

The Son of MAN, Jesus saw God after Yahweh glorified him with eternal life when Jesus ascended into heaven right after God raised him from the dead. And then the now glorified Son of MAN, Jesus descended back down to the earth to show himself alive for forty days before he ascended back up where he was before forty days ago when he first ascended to the Father.

1 Timothy 1:17 says.

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, INVISIBLE, the ONLY WISE GOD, be honor and glory forever and ever, Amen.”

And Jesus is NOT invisible. So clearly, the disciples of Jesus never taught that Jesus was Almighty God Himself who alone in the ONLY wise God.

#19.  IF Jesus truly was God in the flesh and EQUAL with the Father, then the Bible would have also declared that when the word was made flesh that the word also remained fully God at the same time. But that is NOT what the Bible itself says. John 1:1 says that the word was made FLESH. And the Greek word that is translated as being in Philippians 2:6 literally means to come into existence to be in the FORM of God. Jesus never once said that he is equal to God or tried to take by force to be equal with God which is what Philippians 2:6 teaches us. But we all know that Satan used force to try to make himself equal with God. The whole point of creating man in the first place is to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels BY an inferior creation of God made a little LOWER than the angels.

Jesus was made in the IMAGE OF God. So to me, Philippians 2:6 literally means that Jesus came into existence to be being in the form of God, and in the world to come he will after-behave as God over the earth for 1000 years. I believe that it is incorrect to say that Jesus existed in the eternity past in the form of God. For you see, the Greek word translated as the FORM of God is where we get our word MORPH which means to CHANGE forms.

These 37 FACTS plainly teach us in simplicity that Jesus was NOT THE ALMIGHTY God in the flesh having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human as some Christians FALSELY teach. 

Always remember and keep in mind 1 Corinthians 8:6-8 which emphatically states.

“For to us, there is but ONE God, the FATHER of whom are all things, and we in him;

7. And ONE LORD Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

8. HOWBEIT THERE IS NOT IN EVERY MAN THAT KNOWLEDGE.”

And I was one of those people who at one time in my life did not have this KNOWLEDGE of the ONE TRUE God being the Father ALONE. For you see, I too was DECEIVED for many years by the false teaching of the doctrine of the trinity and the doctrine of the deity of Jesus.

So I know where you are because I have been there. I was deceived for many years by this false doctrine of the trinity, and still would be to this day, if I had not trusted in the Holy Spirit of God to lead and guide me into all TRUTH. It is alright to question what you have been taught. The men of Berea in the book of Acts searched the word of God daily to find out if what they were being taught was the TRUTH and the Bible calls them MORE NOBLE than the believers in Thessalonica who by implication did not search the word of God for THEMSELVES but blindly accepted all that they were taught as being the TRUTH and they just continued on blindly believing false teaching even though they SINCERELY believed that they were believing the truth. 

For myself, I have SEARCHED the Scriptures and I personally have NOT found so much as one single verse of Scripture that COMMANDS us to BELIEVE that Jesus IS ALMIGHTY GOD. However, I have found several verses of Scripture that teaches us that we must BELIEVE that Jesus is the SON of Almighty God. 1 John 4:14,15 teaches us that Almighty God the Father SENT his SON into the world to be the savior of the world and IF we CONFESS that Jesus is the SON of God then the Father will dwell in us.

1 John 4:14,15.

“And we have seen and do testify that the Father SENT (Or more precisely, the Father COMMISSIONED) the SON (Of MAN) to be the Savior of the world.

15. Whosoever shall CONFESS that Jesus is the SON OF God, God dwells in him, and he in God.”

Here are some other verses that PLAINLY teach us to BELIEVE that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God and none of them even HINT that we must believe that Jesus IS ALMIGHTY GOD Himself.

John 6:69 KJV

“And we BELIEVE and are SURE that you are that Christ, (Or that you are that ANOINTED ONE) the SON OF the living God.”

John 9:35 KJV

“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost you BELIEVE on the SON OF God?”

John 11:27 KJV

“She said unto him, Yea, Lord: I BELIEVE that you are the Christ, (Or that you are the ANOINTED ONE whom Almighty God has sent who is) the SON OF God, which should come into the world.”

John 20:31 KJV

“But these are written, that (Or so that) you might BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, (Or that Jesus is the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God) the SON OF God; and that BELIEVING (This TRUTH that Jesus is the SON of God whom He has ANOINTED) you might have life through his name”

Acts 8:37 KJV

“And Philip said, If you BELIEVE with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the SON OF God.”

1 John 5:13 KJV

“These things have I written unto you that (Or so that) BELIEVE on the name of the SON OF God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that (Or so that) you may BELIEVE on the name of the SON OF God.”

Here are some more verses that CLEARLY and PLAINLY show us that the early church both BELIEVED and TAUGHT that Jesus is the SON of Almighty God.

When Jesus himself asked his disciple who men said WHO he was and then specifically asked them WHO do THEY say he was Peter answered and told us that Jesus is the CHRIST or the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God, the SON of the living God. 

Please read Matthew 16:13-18.

“When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his DISCIPLES, saying, WHOM do men say that I the SON of man am?

14. And they said, Some say that you are John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15. He said unto them, But WHOM say you that I am?

16. And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the CHRIST, the SON OF the living God.

17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.

18. And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock (Or upon this REVEALED TRUTH from Almighty God our FATHER that I am his SON) I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Did you notice that Jesus HIMSELF confirmed that this TRUTH that he was the SON of God was REVEALED to Peter by Almighty God the Father and NOT by the teaching of MAN? Jesus understood that the PROPHECIES in the Scripture spoke of him. So Jesus knew that he had no earthly biological father and that God created him in the womb of the Virgin Mary his mother. Jesus knew that he was the one prophesied to be God’s Messiah.

Then in Matthew 26:63,64, we read.

“But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you be the CHRIST, the SON OF God.

64. Jesus said unto him, You have said: nevertheless, I say unto you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of MAN sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”

So then, in BOTH of these passages of Scripture we see that when Peter called Jesus the CHRIST the SON of God Jesus himself referred to himself as the Son of MAN. This caused me to ask the question WHY? Why place so much emphasis on himself being the son of MAN even though we know Jesus called Almighty God his FATHER? My point is this I have NOT found ANYWHERE in Scripture where Jesus himself refers to himself as being Almighty God.

Luke 1:32 KJV

“He shall be great, and shall be called the SON OF the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:”

Luke 1:35 KJV

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore (Or for this reason) also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be CALLED the SON OF God”

Luke 4:41 KJV

“And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, You are CHRIST the SON OF God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was CHRIST.”

Or even the Devils knew that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God the Father. Then in John chapter 1, the SAME chapter that those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity use to teach that Jesus IS ALMIGHTY GOD we read that John declares or bears record that Jesus is the SON of God as opposed to Jesus being Almighty God himself.

John 1:32-34.

“And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

33. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Ghost.

34.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the SON OF God.”

John 3:36 KJV

“He that BELIEVES on the SON has everlasting life: and he that believes NOT the SON shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Acts 9:20 KJV

“And straightway he PREACHED CHRIST in the synagogues, that he (The anointed Son of MAN, Jesus) IS the SON OF God.”

Ephesians 4:13 KJV

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the KNOWLEDGE of the SON OF God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:”

1 John 4:15 KJV

“Whosoever shall CONFESS that Jesus is the SON OF God, God dwells in him, and he in God.”

1 John 5:9 KJV

“If we receive the witness of MEN, the witness of God is GREATER: for THIS is the witness of God which he has testified of his SON.”

2 John 1:3 KJV

“Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ, the SON OF the Father, in TRUTH and LOVE.”

So then, CLEARLY from this study in God's word of TRUTH, you the reader and seeker of the TRUTH can PLAINLY see that Jesus is NOT one and the SAME person or being as Almighty God the FATHER. And even the DOCTRINE of the Trinity PLAINLY states that Jesus is NOT the FATHER and that God the Father is NOT his SON Jesus. But yet those that teach the DOCTRINE of the Trinity USE many verses of Scripture to try and prove that Jesus IS Almighty GOD HIMSELF by saying that the one God is three separate persons in the one God who are CO-ETERNAL and CO-EQUAL. And, according to the Roman Catholic Orthodox doctrine of the Trinity, that means that Jesus always existed as God the Son without ever having a BEGINNING.             

But to ME, IF Jesus were TRULY GOD, as in, if Jesus was the ONE TRUE GOD then Jesus would, therefore, have to be THE ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD, who we know is ALMIGHTY GOD. And we ALSO KNOW that Almighty God IS the FATHER. So to ME, every time Trinitarians Christians try to make Jesus be Almighty God Himself then they are saying that Jesus is the Father Himself which TOTALLY CONTRADICTS this FALSE MAN-MADE DOCTRINE of the Trinity. For you see, the entire Bible clearly identifies the one true and ONLY Almighty God as being the Father ALONE.

So the TRUTH of the whole matter is that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God the Father who has been HIGHLY EXALTED to be a God by his God and Father the ONE and ONLY TRUE ALMIGHTY God. The TRUTH of the matter is that Jesus the SON of God was ANOINTED by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God, his God, and Father, to empower his SON to DO all His will as an ANOINTED MAN. This is what the word “CHRIST” means, the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God. This is WHAT the WHOLE word of God teaches us.

2 John 1:9 KJV

“Whosoever transgresses, (Or sins) and abides NOT in the DOCTRINE of Christ, (Or in the teaching that Jesus the SON of God was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God, then this person who does NOT believe this TRUTH) has NOT God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has BOTH the Father and the SON.”

But now, the Holy Spirit has brought light to the word of God that I might come to the KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH that Jesus is the SON OF God. And I now pray that you also will come to this knowledge of the TRUTH that Jesus is the SON of Almighty God whom God has ANOINTED with his Holy Spirit to empower his SON to DO all that pleases the FATHER. For it is in this KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH you will clearly see that just as Jesus lived his life WITHOUT SIN THROUGH the POWER of the Holy Spirit, then YOU TOO will ALSO live YOUR LIFE WITHOUT SIN THROUGH the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT and the WORD of TRUTH that we LIVE by FAITH. And also, begin doing the SAME mighty works which Jesus did THROUGH the Father who DWELT in him and NOW dwells in us as believers in his SON Jesus whom he ANOINTED with power from on high.
