N-8. JESUS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD!

John 3:16-WHEN DID JESUS DESCEND FROM HEAVEN?

The third reason that I teach against the doctrine of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus is that Muslims show the same errors in these doctrines that I myself am exposing and some Muslims are subverting some weaker Christians to be converted to ISLAM. And the mainstream church Trinitarian denominations refuse to take a closer look at these teachings that have been HIGHLY controversial throughout the history of the church from the very beginning. You can even see the evidence of false teaching that the ANOINTING did NOT come in the flesh of Jesus in the New Testament.

Now to ME, if you just consider WHO killed WHO in the dark ages of the church then you should KNOW that the Roman Catholic Church was in ERROR for taking such actions to defend their teaching of the doctrines of the devil. The leaders of the Roman Catholic Church were the ones KILLING their fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord just because they DISAGREED with the teachings of the Catholic church on the doctrine of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus.

So please understand that I am NOT trying to bring Jesus down to the level of mere men who are sinners. The Bible itself clearly teaches us that Jesus partook not of the nature of the angels but rather he was made a partaker of the nature of the human race. This was God's PLAN before he ever created mankind upon the earth. The Bible clearly teaches us that God made Jesus and the whole human race a little LOWER than the angels. And if you want to know the reason why God made Jesus a little lower and INFERIOR to the angels during the days of his FLESH then please read the studies under the heading “WHY ARE WE HERE-IS GOD AT WAR?”   

Please understand that my heart is for those who are struggling with their faith. They are seeing things in the Scriptures that are NOT lining up with what they have previously been taught to believe. And I only want to help the weak become strong in their faith to overcome the enemy that is trying to devour them. So with that being said let us get back to the study at hand.

Please notice that I have entitled this study with TWO titles. And the reason for this is that I want to focus on TWO different but related aspects of Jesus coming from God. One aspect we will cover in this study is how Jesus came into the earth? And the other aspect of Jesus that we will cover is when did Jesus actually descend from the Father DOWN to the earth? So it is the HOW and the WHEN Jesus descended from heaven that we will be taking an in-depth look at in this study of God's word as well.

Also, please notice that while I have both of these titles in the menu bar on my website at AmatterOfTruth.com they are one and the self-same study. I did this because people search for the same thing by typing in different questions and I thought that these two questions would cover almost every way that a person could phrase these questions of God becoming a man and yet remain fully God at the same time. For you see, there are many Christians QUESTIONING what they have been taught concerning the doctrines of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus where Jesus is said to be Almighty God Himself in the flesh and that Jesus is said to be equal in every way with Almighty God the Father where neither is greater than or less than the other. And they are seeing that saying that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh is NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches us as you will soon see.

Again, the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus which states that Jesus is the one true and only Almighty God in the flesh but yet fully man at the same time. Now to ME, these two doctrines actually contradict each other because the doctrine of the Trinity states that Almighty God the Father is NOT the SON. But the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus states that Almighty God IS the SON by saying that Jesus is the one true and only ALMIGHTY God which the word of truth the Holy Bible clearly teaches is the FATHER. Therefore, to me, if you are going to believe the Bible AND these two doctrines then you must acknowledge that Almighty God the FATHER is Jesus seeing that the Bible itself clearly and always IDENTIFIES Almighty God as BEING the FATHER. Nowhere does the Bible itself clearly IDENTIFY Jesus as being THE ALMIGHTY God Himself. And nowhere in the Scriptures is Jesus being identified as being the FATHER. Now, I explain Revelation 1:8 in detail which SEEMS to be saying that Jesus IS the Almighty in the study called “REVELATION 1:8-I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA”. But for now, let us continue this study is God's word to learn HOW and WHEN Jesus descended from heaven.

Now, in my many other studies on this subject of who is Jesus, according to the Bible, I cover all the verses from both sides of this highly controversial topic so I will only touch on a few in this study. My main focus in this study is to closely examine the UNIQUE birth of Jesus and that Jesus DESCENDED from heaven DOWN to the earth so that my readers will know that Jesus is NOT like any other human being who has ever been born. Jesus was UNIQUELY born of the Virgin Mary by the power of Almighty God Himself. Jesus did not have an earthly biological father but Jesus did, indeed, have an earthly biological mother. Again, I just assumed that most every Christian knew this already so I did not see a need to focus on this truth that is clearly taught in the Bible.

However, it has now come to my attention that some of my fellow brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ do indeed disagree as to HOW Jesus was actually BORN and also disagrees as to WHEN Jesus actually DESCENDED or CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN. So then, let us begin this study in God's word by first taking a closer look at the VIRGIN birth of Jesus by reading the gospel of John 3:16,17 from several different translations. Again, I always use the King James Version of the Bible unless I otherwise give the name of the translation that I am using.

Here is John 3:16,17 from the King James Version.

“For God so loved the world, that He GAVE his ONLY BEGOTTEN Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 

17. For God SENT not his Son INTO the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Now this verse, alone and by itself apart from the rest of God’s word, can be INTERPRETED in a couple of ways. The mainstream church denominations interpret this passage of Scripture to mean that Almighty God sent his SON Jesus down from heaven to come INTO the world. But I myself see that these verses of Scripture mean that Almighty God sent the ANOINTED Son of MAN Jesus OUT INTO the world to preach the gospel and to suffer and die of the cross.

Here is John 3:16.17 from the Complete Jewish Bible.

“For God so loved the world that He GAVE his ONLY and UNIQUE Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.

17. For God did not SEND the Son INTO the world to judge the world, but rather so that through him, the world might be saved.”

Here is John 3:16,17 from Young's Literal Translation.

“For God did so love the world, that His Son -- the ONLY BEGOTTEN -- He GAVE, that everyone who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.

17. For God did not SEND His Son TO the world (This is the only translation that I personally have found that does not translate the Greek word “eis” to the English word “INTO” like all the other translations including the Greek to English Interlinear Bible. This Greek word “eis” also means THROUGHOUT the world) that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him;”

The first thing that I want to point out to you is that the Greek word that is translated as “ONLY BEGOTTEN” is a compound word that comes from two Greek words that teach us that the birth of Jesus being born of a VIRGIN was a UNIQUE birth and the ONLY one of its kind ever. In this respect, Jesus is obviously UNIQUE from every other human being. So I must apologize to my readers for not clarifying this in my other studies when I said Jesus is just like you and me. Again, I just assumed that every Christian knows that Jesus was born of a virgin and that he did not have an earthly father.

Obviously, Jesus is unique in other ways as well. For you see, none of us were SENT to die on the cross for the sins of the world so I did not see the need to clarify that point either. There should already be no doubt to most every Christian that Jesus is UNIQUELY different from every other human being. This should already be clear, so the focus in my other studies is to point out the EXTREMES that theologians have overemphasized throughout the history of the church by showing the TRUE FULL HUMANITY of Jesus that the Bible itself has much to say on this subject of Jesus being the Son of MAN.

Now, just so you know, some commentaries and theologians will go beyond the word of truth and say that Jesus being BORN as a human being does not mean that Jesus had a beginning. And, therefore, to THEM, Jesus has always preexisted with the Father as his Son up in heaven from all eternity past. And then Almighty God the Father sent his SON Jesus DOWN INTO the earth or world. And it was God the Son who incarnated himself to become flesh.

However, this is NOT what the WHOLE word of God teaches us. The clear, plain, and simple meanings of these two Greek words are that Jesus is the ONE and ONLY ONE who has ever been BORN from Almighty God the Father WITHOUT ever having an EARTHLY father like ALL other human beings. In other words, every other human being has been BORN of an EARTHLY or a HUMAN father where the human father KNOWS a woman or has intercourse with his human wife and a child is conceived in the womb of his wife to be born as a HUMAN BEING. Now, everyone knows that every CHILD is first conceived in the womb and then when the pregnancy has come to full term and the human baby is brought forth to be BORN into the world then this is called a BEGINNING for that CHILD where this child had NEVER EXISTED before except in the mind and plan of the parent to have a child. That is to say, every child ever BORN has a BEGINNING of being brought into EXISTENCE where they never existed before.

So then, WHY do some Christians dogmatically demand that when it comes to the CHILD Jesus being BORN that his BIRTH is NOT a BEGINNING? Just let me ask you a very simple question. Has Jesus ALWAYS been a HUMAN BEING from all eternity past? Exactly! The answer is an obvious NO! Therefore, Jesus, speaking of the HUMAN Jesus did indeed have a BEGINNING where the HUMAN Jesus had never existed before except in the mind and PLAN of Almighty God to one day bring forth a SON. And then after God's HUMAN Son was BORN, His Son was then given the name Jesus which means the salvation of YHWH or YAHWEH. Then it was only AFTER Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist that Almighty God ANOINTED the Son of MAN, Jesus with the Holy Spirit and POWER. And then the Father said, this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased before God SENT His ANOINTED human Son Jesus INTO the world, as in, meaning God sent His Son OUT into the world to save mankind by dying on the cross and preaching the gospel. Please notice the ORDER of the events in God’s spoken word of PROPHECY as you read Isaiah 9:6,7. Here is how the Holy Spirit expounded the PROPHECY concerning Jesus found in Isaiah 9:6,7 to me. God showed me to read the FULFILMENT of this prophecy in the ORDER that it is PROPHESIED.

Please read Isaiah 9:6,7.

“For (Order of event #1 that has already been FULFILLED) unto us, a CHILD is BORN, (THEN comes Order of event #2 that has also already been FULFILLED) unto us a son is given: and (And THEN Order of event #3 is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED) the government shall be upon his shoulder: and ( And THEN will come Order of event #4 that is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED WHEN the government will be set upon the shoulder of Jesus IN the world to come) his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, (Or more precisely, the Father OF or the AUTHOR OF eternal life, as in, BECAUSE OF Jesus obeying his God and Father's Will, Jesus made it possible for whosoever believes in him shall be saved. For you see, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN the authority and the power to JUDGE and give eternal life to whomsoever he chooses AFTER the cross. This is why Psalm 2 prophesies to kiss the feet of God’s Son whom He ordained to be his King of kings and Lord of lords) The Prince of Peace. (And, according to Revelation 1:5, Jesus is our Prince right now standing at the right hand of God. But at his second coming, Jesus will SIT on the right hand of Yahweh to rule and reign FOR Yahweh as the Lord of the Sabbath. And at that time the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. And)

7.  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

So then, according to the PROPHECIES in the Scriptures and the FULFILLMENT of the prophecies of God’s spoken word that came forth out from God, the CHILD was born first and THEN that child grew to become the Son of MAN, Jesus. And THEN, God ANOINTED or COMMISSIONED the Son of MAN, Jesus, before sending him INTO the world. Jesus himself said that the Son of MAN would be lifted up on the cross.

Please read John 8:28-30.

“Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of MAN, then shall you know that I am he (Or then you will know that I am the Christ, the one prophesied in the Scriptures to come) and that I do NOTHING OF MYSELF; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. 

29.  And He that sent me is WITH me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. 

30.  As he spake these words, many believed on him.” 

And many BELIEVED on Jesus. These were Jews who believe in ONE God in ONE person who BELIEVED in Jesus as being the Christ or the anointed Messiah, the SON OF the living God. So to me, when Jesus said you are dead in your sins if you do not believe I AM HE, Jesus intended his word to mean that he is the Messiah and NOT that he is Almighty God Himself. Please see the study “JOHN 8:24 IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE I AM HE!” Also, even in the very CONTEXT of John 3:16,17, which we read at the beginning of this study on the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son and its true meaning in the light of the whole word of God, Jesus said that the Son of MAN must be lifted up.

Please read John 3:14-18.

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, MUST the Son of MAN be lifted up: 

15  That whosoever believes in him (Speaking of the anointed Son of MAN dying on the cross for your sins) should not perish but have eternal life. 

16.  For God so loved the world, that He GAVE his only begotten Son, (Speaking of God’s only begotten HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus) that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 

17.  For God SENT not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 

18.  He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God.”

Now, some Christians will argue that God’s Son was begotten in eternity past. And some of those Christians claim that God’s Son was begotten so far in eternity past that you might as well say that God’s Son did not have a beginning. 

But if this was true then WHY would God PROPHESY of having a Son in the future if so be that God already had a pre-existing Son in eternity past that God GAVE to come down from heaven to incarnate himself to become flesh, according to Orthodox Christianity called Trinitarianism? Please read the study “WHEN DID JESUS BECOME GOD’S ETERNAL SON? Part 1” which is a three-part study and the study “WHAT DOES FIRSTBORN OF EVERY CREATURE TRULY MEAN?”

But for now, once again Jesus was NOT conceived by a HUMAN father like every other human being. But rather, Jesus was conceived BY the spoken WORD of Almighty God, who then BECAME the Father of his SON only AFTER Jesus was actually conceived and born of a human woman to do the will of his God and Father by becoming obedient unto death on the cross. Jesus was then raised from the dead and given immortal life BY his God and Father THE ALMIGHTY. 

We will take a closer look at WHEN Almighty God actually BECAME the Father of His Son Jesus, but first, let us read the gospel of Luke chapter 1 verses 24 through 38 where we learn HOW Jesus was ACTUALLY conceived of Almighty God and then brought into the world, being BORN of a woman. Personally, I do not see any pre-existing God the Son coming down from heaven and entering into the womb of the Virgin Mary so I am going to believe and teach what the Bible ITSELF actually teaches in the light of the whole word of Almighty God.

Luke 1:24-38.

“And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying.

25. Thus has the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.

26. And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth. (And we know that Jesus did not pre-exist as the angel Gabriel or any other angelic being. The angel Gabriel was sent)

27. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

28. And the angel came in unto her, and SAID, Hail, You that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women.

29. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his SAYING and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30. And the angel SAID unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God. (Or in other words, Gabriel was SENT from Almighty God down to the Earth to declare a thus says the Lord spoken WORD of prophecy from Almighty God which is)

31. And, behold, you shall CONCEIVE in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS.

32. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest (And NOT that Jesus should be called the ALMIGHTY Himself. But rather, Jesus shall be called the SON OF the Almighty): and the Lord God (Or the Lord God the ALMIGHTY) shall GIVE unto him the throne of his father David:

33. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom, there shall be no end.

34. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man (Or HOW can I conceive a child in my womb seeing that I have never had intercourse with a man)

35. And the angel answered and SAID unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the POWER of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore (Or for this reason of the power of Almighty God coming upon you) ALSO that holy thing which shall be BORN of you SHALL BE called the SON of God. (Here is one verse that shows us that the spoken Word was NOT called the SON of God UNTIL the spoken Word BECAME flesh and dwelt among men)

36. And, behold, your cousin Elisabeth, she has also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

37. For with God nothing shall be impossible.

38. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to your WORD (Or Mary BELIEVED God’s spoken word of PROPHECY that she would have a male CHILD without a human father and she said, Here I am Lord, I am willing to bear the CHILD as your angel told me. Be it done unto me according to your WORD). And the angel departed from her.”

Now this passage of Scripture is NOT teaching us that Almighty God literally came down from heaven and had intercourse with Mary in order for her to CONCEIVE in her womb a human child without the descent of a “biological” human father. But rather, Almighty God SENT his spoken word of PROPHECY into the world by way of his angel Gabriel, who then SPOKE the WORD of Almighty God to the Virgin Mary and then when Mary AGREED with God's spoken word sent by God by way of the messenger Gabriel. Then the Holy Spirit overshadowed her and the power of God's spoken word mixed with faith then produced the seed of God's WORD to be CONCEIVED as a child in the womb of Mary and nine months later this HUMAN child was brought forth into existence where the HUMAN CHILD, who was then given the name Jesus, had never existed before except in the mind and PLAN of Almighty God from before the foundation of the world.

My point is this, Almighty God uses his SPOKEN WORD to bring forth everything that he creates or brings into existence but this does NOT mean that a tree, which is created BY the spoken WORD of Almighty God, is FULLY Almighty God and FULLY a tree at the same time. This is New Age theology where everything is God including us. This is not what it means when the spoken WORD of God BECOMES what God has PLANNED in his mind for his thoughts to be brought forth into existence. But rather it means that the WORD of Almighty God BECAME a tree when God spoke his WORD to bring into existence a tree that God visualized in his mind to be that had never existed before.

John 1:14 clearly teaches us that the WORD of Almighty God BECAME flesh or was MADE to become flesh. And again this does not dogmatically demand that this human child born of the Virgin Mary to be FULLY Almighty God in the flesh and fully man at the same time. It is man's reasoning that reads into the Scriptures that the Word was a separate divine eternal being who was with God at God's side named the Word or named God the Son, the second person of a Godhead Trinity God. Please read the study “WHAT DOES JOHN 1:1-5,14 TRULY MEAN?” For now, in Luke 1:37 right before Mary agrees with the spoken word of God sent to her by the angel Gabriel, we are told that NOTHING is impossible with God.

Luke 1:37.

“For with God, nothing shall be impossible.”

So why then, is it so hard for some to believe that it is indeed possible for the spoken WORD of Almighty God to BECOME a human being, as in, becoming FULLY a HUMAN being without ANY of the divine nature of the word remaining in Jesus when the spoken WORD of God BECAME flesh? Why do some Christians cling so tightly to the traditions of men and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church that Almighty God Himself literally and FULLY actually transformed His entire divine being into a human being in such a way that this particular human being was fully 100% Almighty God AND fully 100% a human being at the same time? I mean if this were true and 100% of Almighty God was transformed into a HUMAN being then God would no longer be God in heaven. God would be a human being on the earth only, so to WHOM did Jesus pray, saying our Father IN HEAVEN?

Can you not see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, that the WORD of Almighty God BECAME a TREE when God spoke forth what He THOUGHT in His mind to BE and His thoughts were brought forth in the form of His spoken WORD, and then His spoken WORD BECAME what God THOUGHT or PLANNED to BE. So then, the WORD that was WITH God and AGREED expressly with what God was PLANNING in His mind to do when it was spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary was the word of PROPHECY. And when Mary agreed with the WORD being SPOKEN to her saying, be it done ACCORDING to your WORD, then the WORD at that moment in time BECAME flesh and dwelt among mankind, which is what Almighty God PLANNED His WORD to BECOME. This will become clearer as more Scriptures are shown to you that clearly teaches us that Jesus was FULLY a MAN, a human being, who suffered in all points like us.

Now to ME, this traditional church teaching of Jesus being EQUAL in every way with his God and Father the one true and only Almighty God where neither person of the Trinity is greater than nor less than the other simply does not agree with the WHOLE word of Almighty God. So for ME, I see that the WORD, as in, the spoken word of Almighty God was SENT down to the earth BY Almighty God through or by his angel Gabriel to be SPOKEN to the virgin Mary and then when Mary AGREED, be it done unto me according to your WORD. Then after Mary BELIEVED and received God’s spoken word the Holy Spirit of Almighty God created LIFE in the womb of Mary and she brought forth a son and called his NAME JESUS, which again means YHWH saves or the salvation of Yahweh. And that means that Almighty God is the actual one who saves mankind through the Son of man that He created or brought into existence who never existed before the time Jesus was BORN except in the PLAN and MIND of Almighty God before the foundation of the world.

In other words, the HUMAN Jesus did indeed have a BEGINNING just like every other creation of Almighty God, who by the way did not actually BECOME the Father of his Son Jesus UNTIL only AFTER Jesus was BORN of a woman, became obedient unto death on the cross, was raised from the dead and then given immortality by his God and Father, the one true and only ALMIGHTY God. Please read Psalm 2:7-9, which is a PROPHECY of Jesus that clearly teaches us that on a certain DAY the Son of God would be BEGOTTEN, which means to be BORN or brought INTO EXISTENCE.

Psalm 2:7-9.

“I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; THIS DAY have I begotten you. (Or THIS DAY have I Almighty God brought you into existence AS my Son. This is something that has never been done before. God is doing a NEW thing. For a deeper understanding of how Jesus can be God and yet Jesus is NOT the one true and ONLY Almighty God the Father then please read the study called “OUR GOD IS ONE!”

8. Ask of me, and I shall GIVE you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. (Can you not see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, that IF the doctrine of the Trinity were true then why would God the Father GIVE God the Son the earth for his possession? If so be that Jesus is Almighty God Himself as God the Son in eternity past then he would already own the entire universe. But that is NOT what the Scriptures teach us. This verse says that Yahweh SHALL GIVE His Son the judgment of the heathen for his INHERITANCE and the earth for his possession. And that CONTRADICTS both the doctrine of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh. Or more precisely, those man-made doctrines CONTRADICT the Scriptures)

9. You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.”

Then in Acts 13:29-34, we see this passage of Scripture in this second Psalm being quoted in relation to Jesus being RAISED from the dead.

Acts 13:29-34.

“And when they had FULFILLED all that was WRITTEN of him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a sepulcher.

30. But God RAISED him from the dead:

31. And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

32. And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the PROMISE which was made unto the fathers, (Speaking of the Scriptures PROPHESYING of the coming of a Messiah being raised up from AMONG the PEOPLE)

33. God has FULFILLED the same unto us their children, IN THAT he has RAISED UP Jesus again; as it is also WRITTEN in the second psalm, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten you (Speaking of the certain specific DAY on which Almighty God RAISED His ONLY BEGOTTEN HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus, from the dead was the very DAY that Almighty God became a FATHER to His now ETERNAL Son. Yes, Jesus was BORN of a woman who was CONCEIVED by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God but Jesus had not yet learned obedience to become obedient unto death on the cross as an atonement for the sins of the world to fulfill all that God had brought him into existence into the world to accomplish. Remember the ORDER of prophecy. FIRST, a CHILD was born, and then the child grew in stature and in favor with God. Then the Son of MAN was ANOINTED with the power to accomplish the task that his God and Father SENT the ANOINTED Son of MAN out into the world to accomplish THROUGH the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him. And AFTER the cross, God GAVE the Son of MAN, Jesus, the divine nature of immortality to become God’s ETERNAL Son who will INHERIT the earth during the world to come for 1000 years)

34. And as CONCERNING that he raised him up from the dead, NOW NO MORE to return to corruption, (In other words, Jesus was GIVEN of his God and Father IMMORTAL LIFE only AFTER God raised him from the dead, because if Jesus were truly FULLY God in the flesh then it would have been impossible for Jesus to DIE seeing that Almighty God ALONE has IMMORTALITY from all eternity past and cannot die, otherwise, God would not be immortal) he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.”

Please read John 5:26,27, which clearly teaches us that Almighty God the Father GAVE His Son Jesus IMMORTAL LIFE to be having eternal life in himself even as the Father has always had life in Himself. And that Almighty God GAVE His Son AUTHORITY because he was the Son of MAN and NOT that he was the Son of God.

John 5:26,27.

“For AS (Or in the same way that) the Father HAS life in himself; SO HAS he GIVEN to the Son to have life in himself;

27. And has GIVEN him authority to execute judgment also, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”

Now please read Hebrews 1:5-9 which again teaches us that on the DAY that Jesus was BEGOTTEN FROM THE DEAD was the very DAY that Almighty God literally BECAME the FATHER of the savior of the world.

Hebrews 1:5-9.

“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten you? And again, (Or in another place it is written) I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6. And again, when he brings in the FIRST BEGOTTEN into the world, (Or in another place, it is written that again at the SECOND coming of Jesus when God will AGAIN bring his Son as the FIRST BEGOTTEN from the dead back into the world. In other words, right now Jesus is the ONLY begotten Son of God the FIRSTFRUITS unto God. And AT his coming Jesus will be the FIRST begotten among MANY brethren) he said, And let all the angels of God worship him. (This is WHEN every knee shall bow to the NAME of Jesus and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is LORD to the GLORY of Almighty God whether willingly or unwillingly. Jesus will be called the God of the whole earth during the world to come for 1000 years)

7. And of the angels, he said, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8. But unto the Son he said, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

9. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore, (Or for this very REASON) God (Almighty God your Father) even YOUR God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.”

There are many verses in the Bible that clearly teach us that Almighty God the Father is GREATER than his Son Jesus and is God OVER His Son Jesus whom he Himself highly exalted to become a God and share in His glory sitting beside Almighty God on His throne to rule over the kingdom of God for 1000 years. For a deeper understanding of what I just said please read all the related studies that I will list at the end of this study in God's word. Acts 2:36 clearly teaches us that Almighty God has MADE or raised up His Son Jesus to be BOTH Lord and Christ.

Acts 2:36.

“Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has MADE that same Jesus, whom you have crucified, BOTH Lord and Christ.”

In other words, not only did Almighty God bring forth his Son into existence, but he also MADE his Son Jesus become both Lord and Christ. If you truly are seeking the word of truth, then you will see that everything that Jesus is or has was GIVEN to him by his God and Father the one true and ONLY Almighty God.

The second thing that I want to point to is that almost every translation that I have read accurately translates the Greek word “eis” as the English word “INTO”, which Young's Literal translation has translated to the English word “TO” rather than “INTO” where some have interpreted as meaning that God sent his Son “TO” the world, as in, DOWN to the earth, and thereby some falsely conclude that the phrase “God SENT his Son INTO the world” to mean, without fail, that God sent his SON FROM HEAVEN DOWN to the earth to be transformed into a human being but yet remain FULLY God, because they want to have as many verses that they can in order to use them to try and support their man-made doctrine of the trinity and the deity of Jesus.

Now, while these doctrines do have a small amount of truth in them, they are not truly SOUND BIBLICAL teachings as a whole. I will explain what I mean by this as we continue this study in God's word. But first, I want to point out to my readers and seekers of the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God that another meaning of the phrase, “God sent his Son “INTO” the world”. And that other meaning is that AFTER Jesus was already born as a human being on the earth, THEN God sent his HUMAN Son Jesus OUT INTO the world to preach after God COMMISSIONED or ANOINTED the Son of MAN, Jesus. The truth of the matter is that Jesus came to SHOW us the Father to be the ONLY TRUE God, according to John 17:3. This is what the word “MANIFEST” TRULY means. God was MANIFEST in the FLESH literally means that God was manifestly DECLARED in the flesh of Jesus being FLESH and BLOOD just like you and me. 

MANIFESTED means CLEARLY SHOWN. And Jesus has clearly shown us the FATHER to be the one true God. Jesus came to MANIFEST to us the FATHER, the one true and only ALMIGHTY God. I mean think about this for a moment. How could Jesus be ALMIGHTY if he had a GOD who was HIS God? The very word ALMIGHTY means that there is NONE other God OVER the MOST HIGHEST God. Jesus is never called the HIGHEST or the Most-High God. But rather, Jesus is called the SON OF the Highest. So the SIMPLE TRUE meaning of the phrase “God MANIFEST in the FLESH” is that Almighty God the Father was CLEARLY shown to mankind by or through his EXPRESS IMAGE, Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the Father. Please read the study “WHAT DOES 1 TIMOTHY 3:16 TRULY MEAN?” For you see, another meaning is that Yahweh manifestly declared there to be another God into being to replace Lucifer as the caretaker of the earth or as the God of the whole earth.

With that being said, let us begin this section of this study in God's word by reading Luke 4:15-21, which takes place shortly after Jesus was baptized in water by John the Baptist and the Holy Spirit of Almighty God descend from heaven and remained upon Jesus who led Jesus into the wilderness where he was tempted by the devil for forty days.

Luke 4:14-21.

“And Jesus returned (Or after Jesus returned from being baptized by John in water and anointed by the Holy Spirit of God that empower him to overcome the temptations of the devil Jesus came) in the power OF THE Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

15. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

16. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has ANOINTED me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has SENT me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21. And he began to say unto them, This day is this Scripture FULFILLED in your ears.”

So then, the true sound Biblical meaning of Jesus being SENT INTO the world actually means that Jesus was lead by the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit to go OUT among the people and preach the kingdom of God.

In other words, the phrase “God SENT his Son INTO the WORLD” does NOT have to be dogmatically demanded to mean that Almighty God sent his Son FROM heaven DOWN to the earth. And, therefore, dogmatically demand that Jesus must have always pre-existed with his Father IN heaven from all eternity past before God SENT His Son INTO the world as some have falsely concluded this phrase to mean, without fail. And then warn Christians to do not ever question their authority to INTERPRET Scripture as their dogmatic teaches. That kind of dogmatic teaching INTIMIDATES the average believer never to question what they are being taught and that is WRONG in my own opinion. We are not to lord over our fellow brother and sister in our Lord Jesus Christ. And to be honest, some church denominations lord over their congregations to never question what they teach.

Have you yourself ever been TAUGHT never to QUESTION what your priest or pastor teaches? I have. But I assure you that this is NOT what God's word teaches us. We are instructed to search the word of God daily in order to find out if what we are being TAUGHT is the TRUTH of the whole word of God. So the only reason that I see that anyone or any group would say not to QUESTION them is that they want to CONTROL you and lord over you for personal gain. So be cautious of churches that teach that they ALONE only have the truth and if you do not belong to their church or denomination, then you cannot be saved. I was taught when I was a child growing up in the Catholic Church that if I ever left the Catholic Church that I would go straight to hell. Well, that is enough said for now on that side journey. Let us get back to the study at hand.

Now, some of you may be thinking to yourself, well what about the verses which say that Jesus DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN. Does this not prove that Jesus pre-existed with the Father? This is a good point and, therefore, it should not be brushed under the rug, so to speak. So again, I apologize for not clarifying these verses and passages of Scripture in my other studies.

Now, as we take a CLOSER look at these verses please keep in mind that whatever we CONCLUDE these verses or passages of Scripture to mean that the conclusion one draws must AGREE with the rest of God's word. In other words, if one dogmatically demands that these verses mean without fail that Jesus must have preexisted with Almighty God from all eternity past as God's SON, then this conclusion or interpretation must AGREE with the rest of God's word. And if it does NOT agree with the WHOLE word of God then it should be rejected and as being FALSE teaching.

So then, let us begin this section by taking a closer look at one of the most widely used verses to try and prove that Jesus preexisted with the Father in heaven because it plainly states that Jesus came DOWN FROM HEAVEN or DESCEND from heaven down to the earth. Please read John 3:13, which does indeed plainly state that Jesus CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN. But WHAT does this statement of fact TRULY MEAN in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

John 3:13.

“And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that CAME DOWN from heaven, even the Son of man which is IN heaven.”

You see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ when this verse is kept in the CONTEXT of where it is found, you can see that Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus about the Son of MAN's yet FUTURE death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven to his God and Father and to our God and Father. And please keep in mind that this was before the Son of man DESCENDED BACK DOWN to the EARTH in order to be seen of his disciples for forty days to show himself ALIVE from the dead with his new glorified flesh and bone immortal body. Jesus received his new glorified body from his God and Father, the one true and only Almighty God when he ASCENDED UP to heaven immediately AFTER his resurrection.

In other words, this verse does NOT dogmatically mean, without fail, that Jesus descended from heaven at the time in which he was BORN of a woman or more precisely at the time the spoken WORD of God was CONCEIVED in the womb of Mary. But rather, this verse is referring to WHEN Jesus ASCENDED UP FIRST into heaven and then he DESCENDED BACK DOWN to the earth for a short time before he ASCENDED UP a second time into heaven to now be IN heaven at the right hand of the Father. Those who teach the false doctrine of soul sleep where the dead are dead and no not one righteous believer has ever ascended into heaven to be present with the Lord after they have died also MISINTERPRET this verse in John 3:13. But in truth, no man had ever ascended into heaven BEFORE that TIME in history when Jesus ascended into heaven with the souls of the Old Testament saints. Please read the study called “WHAT AND WHERE IN PARADISE?” for a deeper understanding of why the doctrine of soul sleep is not sound Biblical teaching, but for now, let us continue with this study in God's word.

This phrase “CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN” is used five more times in the bible and in these five times they are referring to Jesus being the bread of life COME DOWN from heaven. All these other five uses of this phrase “CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN” are found in John 6:38-58. Again the CONTEXT teaches us that Jesus was sent from God to do his Father's will, which was to die on the cross in order to BECOME the BREAD of LIFE so that whosoever will eat of this true bread of life shall live and not perish. Jesus said in John 6:51 that he was the bread of life and that this bread of life was his flesh which he would one day very soon lay down for the sins of the world.

John 6:51.

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I WILL GIVE is my flesh, which I WILL GIVE for the life of the world.”

Please keep in mind that the gospels and the entire New Testament were written AFTER all these events of Jesus had already taken place. In other words, John was giving his account of what he remembered Jesus doing and teaching. So at times, it may SEEM that Jesus CAME DOWN from heaven at his BIRTH.

Also, please keep in mind that the term or the word “BREAD” is used in Scripture to speak of DOCTRINE or TEACHING. Jesus used the term LEAVEN to refer to the FALSE TEACHINGS of the Sadducees and Pharisees. Please read Matthew 16:5-12, which teaches us that BREAD can also mean TEACHING. In other words, it was the TEACHING that Jesus is the ONLY WAY to the Father that CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN.

Matthew 16:5-12.

“And when his disciples have come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

6. Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

7. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no BREAD.

8. Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O you of little faith, why reason you among yourselves because you have brought no BREAD?

9. Do you not yet UNDERSTAND, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up?

10. Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many baskets you took up?

11. How is it that you do NOT UNDERSTAND that I spake it NOT to you concerning BREAD, that you should beware of the LEAVEN of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

12. Then understood they how that he bade them NOT beware of the leaven of BREAD but of the DOCTRINE of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.”

So again, it was the BREAD of LIFE, or more precisely, it was the TEACHING that Jesus was the ONE whom the Scriptures PROPHESIED would be raised up from among the people to be the savior of the world that came down from heaven. You see, in truth, Jesus was teaching the Jews of his yet FUTURE death, resurrection, ascension, and his COMING DOWN from heaven only after he was going to be drawn up into heaven to be given IMMORTALITY by his God and Father and would be then that Jesus would COME DOWN from heaven BACK to the earth to show that he had conquered death, hell, and the grave, and was ALIVE forevermore, and to show that he was indeed the SON of Almighty God.

Please read Proverbs 30:4-6 from the New Century Version.

“Who has GONE UP to heaven and COME BACK DOWN? Who can hold the wind in his hand? Who can gather up the waters in his coat? Who has set in place the ends of the earth? What is his name or his son's name? Tell me, if you know!

5. Every word of God is true. He guards those who come to him for safety.

6. Do not add to his words, or he will correct you and prove you are a liar.”

Please notice that the “WHEN” that Jesus CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN was only AFTER the Son of MAN, Jesus, had FIRST, ASCENDED UP into heaven after he was raised from the dead TO be given IMMORTAL life from his God and Father. And then only AFTER Jesus had ascended UP into heaven is WHEN Jesus came BACK DOWN from heaven to show himself ALIVE by many infallible proofs. And then the now glorified Son of MAN, Jesus, ascended back up to heaven where he was BEFORE to await his return to descend down from heaven at his coming.

So then, to use these verses to try and prove that Jesus preexisted with the Father IN heaven is to ADD to the word of God and going beyond what the whole word of God truly teaches us.         

Now, some Christians who still want to try and defend these false teachings of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus where Jesus is EQUAL in every way with Almighty God the Father, seem to always run back to John 1:1. And they dogmatically demand that the phrase “the Word WAS God” means, without fail, that Jesus IS THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the flesh, case closed, end of discussion. They refuse to even consider the possibility that the word in John 1:1 is a PROPHECY of a yet coming of A God who will rule FOR Yahweh for 1000 years and then step down from ruling after the 1000 years has ended and commit the ruling of the Father's kingdom back into the hands of his God and Father.

So please keep in mind that John 1:1 does NOT say in the beginning was JESUS and JESUS was WITH God and JESUS WAS God, but rather the word of TRUTH clearly, and plainly says that in a beginning was the word, and the word was with THE God and the Word was God. Please notice that in the original Greek it does not say that the word was THE God, but rather that the word was a God or a god who is under and subject to his God who alone is the Father. For a deeper understanding of this subject please read the study called “JOHN 1:1-THE WORD WAS GOD!”. But for now, let us continue with the study at hand.

Another way that this verse in John 1:1 is translated is that in a beginning was the logos and the logos was with THE God and what God was the logos was, which indicates that Almighty God and his word AGREED as one. In other words, God does not say one thing and mean another, but rather God's word is in AGREEMENT with God's true nature. Now, this translation makes it pretty clear to me, that whatever Almighty God SPOKE forth in the FORM of his WORD then his WORD BECAME whatever God's thoughts were. So in essence whatever God THOUGHT and then SPOKE forth went out from God in the FORM of his WORD then God's SPOKEN WORD BECAME the exact express image of what God was thinking or PLANNING to BE or to become into existence where it never existed before except in the mind and plan of God. The Bible says that even as a man THINKS so IS he. So our very thoughts BECOME into reality if we continue dwelling on them and then speak them forth in faith. Please read the study “THE POWER OF OUR WORDS!” for a deeper understanding of speaking forth faith-filled words based upon the word of God.

Also, to dogmatically demand that Jesus WAS THE God is, in reality, saying the Jesus IS the FATHER, which contradicts the doctrine of the Trinity because the Bible clearly teaches us that the FATHER alone is the one true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God. Please read 1 Corinthians 8:6, which clearly teaches us that the early church taught that the ONE God was the FATHER.

1 Corinthians 8:6.

“But to us, there is but ONE God, the FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND ONE Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

And the Bible teaches us that in order to inherit eternal life in the world to come we must have or believe in BOTH Almighty God the FATHER and in his SON Jesus the CHRIST which means the ANOINTED one of Almighty God. Please read the study “JESUS THE CHRIST!” to better understand that Jesus did the works that he did not because he was supposedly fully Almighty God in the flesh, and not because he was the SON of God, but rather, it was the Holy Spirit of Almighty God the Father DWELLING IN his Son Jesus being the Son of MAN that was how Jesus was empowered to do the works that he did. And this again is one of the many reasons why I teach against the doctrines of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus because they exalt Jesus beyond the word of TRUTH and therefore deceive the people of God that ONLY Jesus can live without sin and heal people. Also, the Bible itself teaches us that Almighty God MADE Jesus be both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 2:36. 

Acts 2:36.

“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has MADE that same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

So then, the TRUTH of the matter as to why I teach the humanity of Jesus is to emphasize the Holy Spirit DWELLING IN the Son of MAN, Jesus, so that Christians will start believing that they too can live without sin and do the SAME works that Jesus did through the eternal Spirit dwelling in him. Jesus said the WORKS that I do YOU shall do ALSO. And COLLECTIVELY we shall do greater works because there are many of us where there was only one Jesus. However, in order to do these works of Jesus, you must first BELIEVE.

Now some Bible translations of John 3:16,17 say the only begotten God as opposed to the only begotten Son. I personally believe that the Apostles of Jesus and the first-century church referred to Jesus as the only begotten Son and that this is the correct translation. But I also believe that Jesus is also the only BEGOTTEN God. For you see, to this END was Jesus BORN. In other words, the PURPOSE that Jesus was begotten by God was to be made a God by Yahweh to rule FOR Yahweh as the Lord of the SABBATH during the seventh 1000 year long day of Yahweh’s rest.

Please read John 8:33-37.

“Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Are you the King of the Jews? 

34.  Jesus answered him Say you this thing of yourself, or did others tell it you of me? 

35.  Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you unto me: what have you done? 

36.  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: (Speaking of this PRESENT world) if my kingdom were of this world, then My servants would fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 

37.  Pilate, therefore, said unto him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered You say that I am a king. To THIS END was I BORN, and for THIS CAUSE came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” 

According to the Bible, people knew the time of the birth of the Messiah, they knew the signs to watch for and even the town he would be born. And they knew the prophecies in the Scripture that he was born to be the King of Israel or the King of the Jews.

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2.  Saying, Where is he that is BORN King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
