SPELLING EDITED O-8. JESUS CAME OUT FROM WITHIN GOD! This study in God’s word is a continuation of the study called “JESUS CAME OUT FROM GOD-JOHN 16:27,28”. And in these verses, Jesus himself teaches us that he came OUT from God. Jesus states this fact TWICE in this one passage of scripture. And most Christians are aware that the Bible teaches us that the “LOGOS” was made flesh in John 1:14. Please read the study “WHAT DOES JOHN 1:14 TRULY MEAN?”. For now, please understand that while a tree can be made into a house but that does not mean that the house is a tree. In other words, the word or the logos of God became FLESH and the flesh is no longer the word from which the flesh was made. To say this another way, the Bible does NOT teach us that the flesh will turn back into the word. In the previous study on John 16:27,28 I focused mainly on the Greek word “PARA” which was translated as the English word “FROM” in the King James Version. And in this study, we will be focusing on the Greek word translated as CAME OUT in verse 27 and as CAME FORTH in verse 28. This same Greek root word is also translated as CAME FROM in John 16:30. Let us begin this study by reading verse 27 by itself. John 16:27. “For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and (you) have believed that I came OUT (Strong’s #1831) from God.” John 16:27. “For-G1063 the-G3588 Father-G3962 himself-G846 loveth-G5368 you,-G5209 because-G3754 ye-G5210 have loved-G5368 me,-G1691 and-G2532 have believed-G4100 that-G3754 I-G1473 came out-G1831 from-G3844 God.-G2316” John 16:28. “I came forth (Strong’s #1831) from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.” John 16:28 “I came forth-G1831 from-G3844 the-G3588 Father,-G3962 and-G2532 am come-G2064 into-G1519 the-G3588 world:-G2889 again,-G3825 I leave-G863 the-G3588 world,-G2889 and-G2532 go-G4198 to-G4314 the-G3588 Father.-G3962 Notice that the same Greek word Strong’s #1831 is translated as OUT in verse 27 and then translated as FORTH in verse 28. Some Christians interpret the “Word” in John 1:1 as a separate divine eternal Spirit being who was WITH THE God at his side being a separate distinctly different person of the ONE God. Most of these Christians are Trinitarians Christians who believe in THREE separate distinctly different persons in the ONE God. And Trinitarians identify the three persons in the one, God, as being God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. But there are other Christians who believe in TWO separate persons as opposed to three separate persons. And they identify the two persons as being God the Father and the Word. These Christians do not believe that the Word was God’s SON in eternity past. But rather they believe that the divine eternal second person of the one God BECAME the Son of God at the Virgin birth. So these Christians along with the Trinitarian Christians believe that the SECOND person of the Godhead became flesh. Then there are the Oneness Christians who believe that there is ONE God in ONE person. In other words, the Oneness Christians do not believe that the Son of God is a SEPARATE person from the Father. They believe that Jesus is one and the self-same being as the Father. Now, I myself and many other Christians believe that the ONE God, Yahweh, was alone and by himself in eternity past as the sole creator of everything that exists. And we believe that Yahweh is One God in ONE person who is the SOURCE of everything. And we believe that everything CAME OUT FROM God as his SPOKEN word. And then whatever Yahweh’s spoken word described, that description or blueprint of God’s SAYING came into existence, where it never existed before except as an IMAGE in the mind of God. In other words, God imagines an IMAGE within himself first. And then God spoke forth that image within himself OUT FROM himself in the form of his word or his SPEECH. And then God’s SPOKEN word became the VISIBLE IMAGE of what Yahweh IMAGINED to be. And that is HOW we believe that Jesus COME OUT FROM THE God, to come into existence, where he never existed before, except in the heart and mind of Yahweh, the ONE TRUE God in ONE person. And in this study in God’s word will go deeper into learning the meanings of the Greek words used in the original Greek text. We will be looking at how the compound Greek word “exerchomai” is used in other verses. But first let us see how the Bible concordance defines this Greek word having the Strong’s #1831. Here is what the Bible concordance says. G1831 ἐξέρχομαι exerchomai ex-er'-khom-ahee From G1537 and G2064; to issue (literally or figuratively): - come-(forth, out), depart (out of), escape, get out, go (abroad, away, forth, out, thence), proceed (forth), spread abroad. Total KJV occurrences: 222 Now, Bible concordances only give the ROOT word. So in order to do an EXACT search, we will need to use a Greek to English Interlinear Bible. Here is John 16:27 from the GNT-TR+. The GNT is the abbreviation for the Greek New Testament. And the TR+ is the abbreviation for the Textus Receptus plus the Strong’s numbers. The words “Textus Receptus” means the received text. And that means the most Bible scholars receive this manuscript as scripture. The King James Bible is translated from the Textus Receptus manuscript. We will be focusing primarily on Strong’s #1831 which I will highlight in yellow. The compound Greek word is translated as CAME OUT in the King James Version. Here is the first phrase in John 16:27 from the GNT-TR+ that is translated in the King James Version as “I CAME OUT from the Father.” And thus this verse can be INTERPRETED in two ways. It can be interpreted that Jesus came out from the SIDE of God. And it can be interpreted that Jesus CAME OF God, as in, from WITHIN THE God. John 16:28 εξηλθον G1831 V-2AAI-1S παρα G3844 PREP του G3588 T-GSM πατρος G3962 N-GSM This word “ εξηλθον G1831” is the exact Greek word used in the original text. And this word “ἐξέρχομαι” is the root Greek word that is used in the Bible concordance. In most cases, the definition in the Bible concordance is more than accurate enough to gain the clear meaning of the text. But in some cases, where there is controversy such as in this verse, it is necessary to go to the meaning of the EXACT Greek word because the meaning may change slightly. Keep in mind that this is a compound word composed of two different Greek words. The Greek word “EK” in Greek can be written in two forms. It can be written as “ἐκ” or as “ἐξ”. It normally appears as “ἐκ” but when it is connected to a verb that begins with a vowel it is written as“ἐξ”. The Greek word “ἐξ” pronounced “ek” means OUT. I am going to separate the ROOT word translated as CAME OUT so you can see them together. Here is the compound root word “ἐξέρχομαι” and here it is separated “ἐξ έρχομαι”. And the second Greek word “έρχομαι” means “I CAME”. Now let us go back to the Greek Interlinear translation of this first phrase in John 16:28 and learn the meaning of the abbreviations in the blue font color. What do these “V-2AAI-1S” abbreviations mean John 16:28 εξηλθον G1831 V-2AAI-1S παρα G3844 PREP του G3588 T-GSM πατρος G3962 N-GSM The “V” means that the Greek word is a verb. The “2” means the second and the first “A” means the Aorist tense. The next “A” means Active voice. The “I” means that the mood is indicative. And the “1” means the one speaking is in the first person. And the “S” means that the person is singular. So then, the abbreviation means that the Greek word is a verb in the second aorist active tense. The mood is indicative. And the verb refers back to the person speaking in the first person singular. The word aorist means an inflectional form of a verb typically denoting a simple occurrence of action without reference to its completeness, duration, or repetition. Now, all of this may not seem important to the average Christian. But to those that dogmatically demand that Jesus literally pre-existed at the SIDE of God, the father, in eternity past, this may be the only way that the word that was with God was NOT at the side of God. The word was WITHIN the God in the same way that our words are WITHIN us until we SPEAK the words FROM OUT OF our mouth. You see the Greek word translated as the Father, in John 16:28, is in the GENITIVE case. And the Genitive case is used to show POSSESSION. This means that the word that CAME OUT FROM God is OWNED by God. In other words, John 16:28 literally reads as follows. “I came from OUT OF the Father…” as opposed to “I came from OUT FROM the Father…” Now, some dogmatic Trinitarian Christians may argue that if that is what Jesus meant to say, then why did he not say that he came from out of the MOUTH of God. And my answer to that argument is that, in a sense, Jesus did say that he came out of the mouth of God. You see, Jesus said that the SCRIPTURES testify of him. Please read John 5:39. “Search the SCRIPTURES (Speaking of the written words of God’s PROPHECY that came forth OUT OF the MOUTH OF Yahweh); for in them (The written down SPOKEN words that CAME OUT FROM the MOUTH of God) you think you have eternal life: and they (The spoke word of God) are they (The written down SPOKEN words that CAME OUT OF the MOUTH of God) which testify of ME (The BEGOTTEN SON OF God by the SPOKEN word that CAME OUT of the MOUTH of God, to be conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary, to be born as the Son of MAN, that would one day be called the Son of the Highest, or the Most-High God).” Now let us read where Almighty God prophesies that the word that comes forth out from his MOUTH will accomplish what Yahweh spoke. Please read Isaiah 55:8-11. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. (And just like our THOUGHTS precede what we speak froth out from our mouth so do God’s words begin as his THOUGHTS WITHIN himself) 9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (In other words, God can LITERALLY CREATE things and people with his spoken thoughts that come forth out from his mouth as his spoken word.) 10. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give SEED to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11. So shall my word be that goes forth OUT OF my MOUTH: IT (My word that goes forth OUT OF my mouth) shall not return unto me void, but IT (My word that goes forth OUT OF my mouth) shall accomplish that which I please, and IT (My word that goes forth OUT OF my mouth) shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent IT (My word that goes forth OUT OF my mouth).” Jesus also said that the “word” of God was like a SEED. And Yahweh says that he watches over his word to PERFORM it. God makes sure that what he SPEAKS will come to pass. Please read Jeremiah 1:12. “Then said the LORD unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform IT (My word that goes forth OUT OF my mouth).” The Hebrew word translated as hasten is a compound word that means to WATCH OVER. So Yahweh watches over his spoken word of prophecy that came forth OUT OF his MOUTH to perform IT. Jesus knew that the SCRIPTURES spoke of him. And that is why he said that he came OUT from God in John 16:17. And then repeated the same thing in John 16:27 to identify THE God as being his FATHER. Jesus understood that Yahweh created everything by SPEAKING words out from within himself. How do you think the disciples of Jesus knew to write Hebrews 11:3 if Jesus did not teach them that this is how God created the worlds? Hebrews 11:3. “Through faith, we UNDERSTAND that the worlds were framed BY the word OF God, (Or WITH the word of the FATHER) so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Now let us read some verses that clearly teach us that the compound Greek word translated as CAME OUT of God in John 16:27 LITERALLY means that Jesus came out OF the Father, as in, from WITHIN the Father. Please read Matthew 12:43-45. “When the unclean spirit is GONE (Strong’s #1831) out of (Which literally reads “When the unclean spirit maybe COMING OUT from) a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, I will return INTO my house from whence I CAME OUT (εξηλθον Strong’s #1831, the SAME EXACT Greek word used in John 16:27 and John 16:28); and when he has come, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished. 45. Then goes he, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they ENTER IN and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so, shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” This passage of Scripture clearly shows that the spirit was WITHIN the man and NOT beside the man, or with the man at his side. Now, the reason that some Christians have trouble seeing that the “word” was WITHIN Yahweh in the beginning in John 1:1, is because they have been dogmatically taught that the “word” is a separate person of the Godhead Trinity called the “Word” with a capital “W”. And by being “dogmatically” taught, I mean that they were never taught that John 1:1 could have OTHER possible meanings. All that many Christians have ever been taught is the FORMULA that if A=B and B=C, the A=C. And they use this mathematical formula to say that since the Word=God, and the Word=Jesus, then Jesus=God. But remember that the Bible itself says that the word was MADE flesh. And we know, full well, that a tree can be made into lumber to build a house. But the lumber cannot be turned back into the tree. So then, what is MADE is not the same as or equal to what it was made OUT OF. And the scriptures clearly teach us that Jesus is NOT equal to Almighty God who alone is the Father. When you stop to consider all the verses of HOW the word BECAME Jesus then that Orthodox Christianity THEORY of a God the Son being incarnate, into human flesh, simply does NOT AGREE with the whole of SCRIPTURE. I want you to read HOW the word became flesh in the narrative of the Virgin birth found in the gospel of Luke. Please pay very close attention as you read what the Apostles of Jesus believe concerning Jesus coming OUT OF God. Look real hard in Luke 1:26-45 and see if you can find any evidence that the apostles of Jesus believed that a God the Son came down from heaven and incarnated himself to become flesh. Please read Luke 1:26-45. “And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, (The angel Gabriel is NOT the word of God. But rather Gabriel was a MESSENGER of God, sent down from heaven with God’s word speaking the MESSAGE, sent from God. So then, the word that came down from heaven was God’s SPOKEN word that CAME OUT OF the MOUTH of God. Having the MESSAGE or the blueprint that God desires WITHIN himself, to be brought to pass.) 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women. 29. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God. (And in the next verses we see the MESSAGE of PROPHECY that CAME OUT OF God’s MOUTH being SPOKEN to the Virgin Mary by the angel Gabriel) 31. And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32. He shall be great, and SHALL BE called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God SHALL GIVE unto him the throne of his father David: (Jesus was BORN to be the King of Israel. And this was PROPHESIED in the scriptures. Prophecy is the SPOKEN word that CAME OUT OF the MOUTH of God. Also. please notice that the Son of MAN SHALL BE called the Son of the Highest God. In other words, a HUMAN MORTAL CHILD is born first and then AFTER the cross Yahweh the Father says that this day of TODAY I have BEGOTTEN you. And then at the return of Jesus, Yahweh the Father will commit the ruling of his kingdom into the hands of his now eternal Son for 1000 years.) 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom, there shall be no end. 34. Then said Mary unto the angel, HOW shall this be, seeing I know not a man? (Or, how will this happen, seeing that I am still a virgin and have never been with a man in that way, to have a child?) 35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you (Now when we read the Genesis account of creation we can clearly see that the Holy Spirit MOVED upon the waters. When God creates he speaks forth his word OUT OF his mouth and then the Holy Spirit moves or vibrates over or overshadows what God has spoken): THEREFORE also that holy THING which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God. (Now, I myself do NOT see a God the Son coming down from heaven to enter into the womb of Mary to be incarnated into a fetus to be born nine months later. What I see in the SPOKEN word of God is a CREATED living fetus in the womb of Mary. And in a moment I will show you Scripture of the PROPHECY, of God, CREATING Jesus in the womb of a woman.) 36. And, behold, your cousin Elisabeth, she has also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37. For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to YOUR WORD. (This is when Mary BELIEVES the SPOKEN word of God spoken to her by the angel Gabriel) And the angel departed from her. 39. And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; 40. And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. 41. And it came to pass, that, when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42. And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. 43. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44. For, lo, as soon as the voice of your salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45. And blessed is she that BELIEVED: for there shall be a PERFORMANCE of those things which were TOLD her from the Lord.” We have already read were Yahweh watches over his word that came forth OUT FROM his MOUTH to PERFORM IT in Isaiah 55:9-11 which agrees with the word in John 1:1 as being the SPOKEN word of God being WITHIN Yahweh. So, all I am saying is that if one INTERPRETS John 16:27,28 as God the Son coming out from the SIDE of Yahweh, then it must agree with Luke 1:27-45 which DESCRIBES HOW the word became flesh. And to ME, it is perfectly clear that the word CAME OUT OF God being SPOKEN to the angel Gabriel who then brought down that spoken MESSAGE of God from heaven to speak to the Virgin Mary. And then when the Virgin Mary BELIEVED the spoken word of God, the SEED of God’s word was conceived or created in the womb of Mary the fetus. And then that holy THING was born as the Son of MAN nine months later. Now, let us see a PROPHECY in the Old Testament of God CREATING Jesus is the womb of a woman. Please read Jeremiah 31:22. “How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? For the LORD hath CREATED a NEW THING in the earth, A woman shall COMPASS a man.” This is a PROPHECY where God is speaking to the children of Israel in the FUTURE, meaning from the time of the prophecy, asking them how much longer would they continue to not turn to God because he has CREATED their Messiah in the womb of a woman. And that Holy THING would become their King, to sit on the throne of King David. There had never been a VIRGIN birth before God created Jesus is the womb of the Virgin Mary. This was the NEW THING that God prophesied to CREATE.
