U-37. Is the TRINITY Found in CREATION?

SPELLING EDITED

U-37. Is the TRINITY FOUND in CREATION?

A brother in the Lord wrote to me after reading some of the studies I wrote asking me if I had a TENETS of faith saying that he liked and agreed with what he has read thus far. But before he could recommend AMatterOfTruth.com to anyone else he needed to know all of what I believed and taught.

This is perfectly understandable for I myself am reluctant to recommend some websites to my readers seeing that I do not find that all that they teach is sound Biblical teaching based upon the whole word of God. And when I do recommend another website I try always to point out that I do not necessarily agree will ALL that this other website teaches.

Now, at that time, I had not yet posted any TENETS of faith, but I did have some INCOMPLETE tenets of faith in my notes on my computer that I had started but had not yet finished. So I sent him what I had written thus far and briefly explained much of the rest that I believed without the Scripture references. I sent him my TENETS of faith simply because he REQUESTED it of me even though I had not finished them. I told him that he was the FIRST to read what I had written thus far as my TENETS of faith and I added that I did NOT believe in the doctrine of the Trinity NOR did I believe in the doctrine of Oneness of modalism knowing deep down inside of me that this is what he truly wanted to know.

It was then that he wrote back telling me that he could not refer AMatterOfTruth.com to anyone until I had a COMPLETE list of TENETS of faith. He then went on to say, that he agreed with everything I taught EXCEPT where he DIFFERED with my position about the doctrine of the TRINITY and he sent me the following article to support why he himself believed that God is a Trinity Godhead. I will place the quotes from that article in a different font style so that my readers can easily see what I myself teach from what some in the mainstream “Orthodox” Trinitarian church denominations are teaching.

All my comments and teaching will be in Times Roman font style and in parentheses which will I have ADDED within the article sent to me in order to make this study as short as possible, but yet, clearly showing the errors of interpretation of this article. For further in-depth studies on certain Trinitarian arguments, I will refer to the studies that I have already written, rather than, making this study an extremely long Bible study.

Now, before we begin this study in God's word I would like to point out that in a superficial SURFACE reading of the Bible there SEEMS to be three persons or beings who work together in unity and in agreement as one. However, in digging deeper into God's word one can clearly see that God is not three persons in one God. In fact, the Bible itself teaches that we must believe in TWO persons and not in three persons. Consider John 15:23,24 where BOTH the Father and Jesus are hated but there is no mention of the Holy Spirit. Consider 2 John 1:1 where we have BOTH the Father and the Son we are of God and do not have the spirit of antiANONITING or antiChrist. Also, for all the verses of Scriptures that clearly show us that the Holy Spirit and the Father are the SAME person or being please read the study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” For you see, the verses of Scripture that teach us that the Holy Spirit IS the Father are simply read right over and this truth that the Father and the Holy Spirit are one and the self-same PERSON is missed by some Christians. But, most definitely, everyone should be able to clearly see that Jesus is NOT EQUAL in every way with Almighty God the Father, nor is Jesus CO-ETERNAL with Almighty God, having always existed as Son of God without a beginning. All of this will be explained in great detail in this study and the studies that I refer you to read if so be you are truly seeking to know the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God.

Let us now begin this study in God's word by reading the introduction of the following trinitarian article. Also, all EMPHASIS is mine.

Understanding The Trinity from God’s fingerprints on His Universe.

The Trinity is a difficult concept to understand. Some think it is a logical contradiction. Others call it a mystery. Does the Bible teach it? Yes, it does, but that doesn't automatically make it easier to comprehend.

The Trinity is defined as one God who exists in three ETERNAL, simultaneous, and distinct persons known as The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Such a definition may suffice for some, but for others this explanation is insufficient.

Please notice that this article begins by saying that the doctrine of the Trinity is DIFFICULT to understand. Yes, it is and it is also very confusing to some who have even left the church because of this one man-made doctrine. And yes, indeed, I do agree that for some this explanation is insufficient. You see, for some like myself and MANY other God-fearing faithful believers in Jesus as the Son of God who died for our sins, we simply cannot accept the false teaching that Jesus has ALWAYS been an ETERNAL being who has always pre-existed WITH Almighty God from all eternity past WITHOUT ever having a beginning. For you see, the Bible itself does NOT teach that Jesus, the SON OF God, has always pre-existed WITHOUT ever having a BEGINNING. Please read the study “DID JESUS PRE-EXIST AS THE SON OF GOD?”.

But rather, the word of truth makes it perfectly clear in simplicity without any need for any INTERPRETATION that Almighty God the Father ALONE is the ONLY being who has ALWAYS been IMMORTAL having life IN HIMSELF. And the Bible itself also makes it perfectly clear that Yahweh the Father Himself GAVE to His human SON, Jesus, eternal life AFTER the Son of MAN became obedient to die on the cross for the sins on mankind, according to John 5:20-27. Mere common sense should tell any thinking Christain than an ETERNAL God can NOT die. And if only the so-called human nature died while the so-called divine nature did not die because eternal divine nature can NOT die then a MAN died on the cross for our sins which is what the Bible itself actually teaches. And since only the human nature of Jesus died on the cross then why do some Christians try to force Jesus to be Almighty God Himself?

Please read 1 Timothy 6:13-16 where we are plainly taught that the ALMIGHTY God the Father is is NOT seen nor can He be seen is the WHO that Jesus came to SHOW us the ONLY POTENTATE who ONLY has always been IMMORTAL.

1 Timothy 6:13-16.

“I give YOU charge in the sight of God, who quickens (Or who makes ALIVE or give LIFE to) all things, AND before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; (Please notice that there are TWO distinct persons to whom we are being given CHARGE in the sight of. The first person or the first being is Almighty God the Father and the second person is the SON OF God, Jesus the Christ or the ANOINTED Jesus. Now, WHAT are we giving CHARGE to DO?)

14. That (You) KEEP this commandment (In other words, Paul is giving us CHARGE to KEEP the following TEACHING) without spot, (Or without perverting this teaching) unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: (Who was MADE both Lord and Christ BY his God and Father, according to Acts 2:36)

15. Which in his times (Speaking of both the first and second comings of Jesus) he (Again, referring to Jesus) shall show, (Remember that Jesus came to SHOW us the FATHER) WHO is the blessed and ONLY Potentate, (The word POTENTATE means the ONLY ONE who is the ALMIGHTY who is over ALL others. Therefore, ANYONE who is UNDER or subordinate to THE ONLY one who ONLY is the ALMIGHTY cannot possibly BE the ALMIGHTY Himself. And Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God, is clearly shown to us in the word of truth as being SUBJECT to HIS God and FATHER, who ALONE is THE ALMIGHTY and ONLY POTENTATE) the King of kings, and Lord of lords; (Keep in mind that Jesus was MADE a King of kings AFTER the cross by his God and Father who is the ETERNAL King, according to 1 Timothy 1:17 who is the ONLY wise God and Psalm 2:6,7)

16. Who ONLY has IMMORTALITY, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has SEEN, NOR CAN SEE: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”

And, clearly, people have SEEN Jesus and most Christians KNOW without a doubt that Jesus is NOT the FATHER who is the INVISIBLE Eternal King and CANNOT be SEEN by any mortal man. This is WHY God sent His HUMAN SON Jesus into the world to SHOW us the FATHER at his first coming and will yet show us further at his second coming. Scripture is very clear that Jesus did NOT come to show us HIMSELF. Jesus always pointed us to the FATHER giving all the glory to his God and Father as being the one who DWELT IN him who was the one doing the WORKS that men saw Jesus doing, according to John 14:10.11.

So it is the FATHER who ONLY is the ALMIGHTY and who ONLY has always been IMMORTAL according to the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible. And this SOUND BIBLICAL TRUTH proves that the man-made doctrine of the Trinity falsely states that Jesus is CO-ETERNAL with Almighty God the FATHER. Please read the three-part study

“WHEN DID JESUS BECOMES GOD'S ETERNAL SON?”

Also, please read John 5:26,27 where we are clearly and plainly taught in simplicity without any need of any INTERPRETATION that Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God, was GIVEN immortality, as in, the divine nature of eternal life to be having in himself EVEN AS the Father HAS always had life IN HIMSELF, by his God and FATHER, who alone is THE ALMIGHTY the ONE TRUE Godin ONE person.

John 5:25,27.

“For AS the Father HAS life in himself; so has He GIVEN to the Son to have life in himself;

27. AND has GIVEN him authority to execute judgment ALSO BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”

Please notice two things in the passage of Scripture. The first thing that I want you to see directly from the WORD of Almighty God Himself is that Jesus was GIVEN the very same divine nature of IMMORTALITY who ONLY Almighty God the FATHER has always possessed IN HIMSELF. And the second thing that I want you to see is that the very REASON of WHY Jesus was ALSO GIVEN the power and the authority to judge mankind and the fallen angels is BECAUSE Jesus was the Son of MAN. NOT because Jesus was Almighty God Himself. And NOT because Jesus was the SON OF Almighty God. But rather, BECAUSE Jesus was the Son of MAN being FULLY a HUMAN BEING like as we are without having any advantage over any other human being. Please read the study “PHILIPPIANS 2:6 PROVES JESUS PRE-EXISTED!” for a deeper understanding of why it is so important to see and understand the HUMANITY of Jesus who was ANOINTED or ENDUED with power from on high the SAME as all believers in Jesus who have received the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

I pray that all my readers and seekers of the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God will see WHY I no longer can believe or teach the man-made DOCTRINE of the Trinity which CONTRADICTS what the Bible itself teaches us in SIMPLICITY that is NOT HARD to understand like the man-made DOCTRINE of the Trinity or the man-made doctrine of Oneness that wrongly teaches that Jesus is the Father Himself in the flesh and NOT a separate being from the Father.

Let us move on with the rest of this Trinitarian article that was sent to me. And as you read WHY I can no longer believe in the doctrine of the Trinity and why I will never believe in the Oneness Pentecostal doctrine, then you will see why both doctrines are false teachings. So if you are TRULY seeking the truth of the WHOLE word of Almighty God then you will see the many other errors made in interpreting the Scriptures by both Trinitarians and Oneness Pentecostal Christians.

Therefore, to help understand the Trinity better, I offer the following analogy that, I THINK, is hinted to in Rom. 1:20:

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power, and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made."

Notice that this verse says God's attributes, power, and nature, can be clearly seen in creation. What does that mean?

The short answer is that Jesus is a CREATION OF God as opposed to Jesus as being the creator Himself who ALONE in the Father. Please understand that what this Trinitarian writer says is his own personal INTERPRETATION of what the writer of this article THINKS that Paul means by this verse in Romans 1:20. And thus, this Trinitarian “interpretation” is NOT the clear, plain, and simple word of God that does NOT need any INTERPRETATION to be understood as he CLAIMS. In other words, the above verse can have several different interpretations but always remember that whatever interpretation that one concludes a certain verse to mean, then that interpretation must AGREE will ALL of God's word.

As I have said many times that any verse when viewed ALONE and APART from the rest of God's word may SEEM or may be made to seem to be saying something that it is not truly saying in the light of the whole word of God. With that being said let us continue to closely examine this article on the Trinity that tries to prove Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh.

Should we be able to learn about God's attributes, power, and nature by looking at what He has made? Apparently, according to the Bible, this is possible.

When a painter paints a picture, what is in him is reflected in the painting he produces. When a sculptor creates a work of art, it is from his heart and mind that the source of the sculpture is born. The work is shaped by his creative ability. The creators of art leave their marks on their work, something that is their own, something that reflects what they are. Did God do the same thing? Did God leave His fingerprints on His creation? Of course, He did. Creation, The universe consists of three elements: Time, Space, and Matter. Each of these is comprised of three 'components.

Time

Past

Present

Future

Space

Height

Depth

Width

Matter

Solid

Liquid

Gas

Now one could just as easily have POINTED out the patterns of TWO being in God's creation, or the patterns of FOUR or FIVE, or eight. But because a CERTAIN agenda is desired, this Trinitarian author chose the number THREE in order to try and prove the man-made doctrine of the Trinity meaning three. Please consider the Bible ITSELF to see what the Scriptures teach, as opposed to analogies in creation. Jesus calls his god Father and yet Matthew 1:20 says that Jesus was CONCEIVED by the Holy Spirit. Now IF SO BE that the Holy Spirit is a SEPARATE person from the Father then that means that Jesus has TWO Fathers who beget him. Also, consider Jesus saying that people can blaspheme the Son but they are in danger of hellfire if they blaspheme the Holy Spirit. So where in the Father? I will tell you where the Father is, the Father IS the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit IS the Father. The Holy Spirit and the Almighty God the Father are ONE and the self-SAME person. Read the studies that I give links to that will prove beyond any shadow of a doubt from the Scriptures that the SON OF God had a BEGINNING, the Father and the Son are NOT co-equal or co-eternal, and the Holy Spirit is NOT some so-called THIRD person because the Holy Spirit IS the Father Himself.

As the Trinitarian doctrine maintains, each of the persons of the Godhead is distinct, yet they are all each, by nature, God.

And the Oneness Pentecostal Christians say as the Oneness doctrine maintains that Jesus IS the Father and every Trinitarian Christian knows full well that the Oness Pentecostal doctrine is false teaching. So if you are a Trinitarian Christian have you ever truly considered that the DOCTRINE of the Trinity ITSELF is in ERROR and that the DOCTRINAL statements IN the doctrine of the Trinity CONTRADICT what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in simplicity? In truth, the term GODHEAD in the word of God always speaks of the FATHER ONLY as being THE Godhead. It is only the man-made doctrine of the Trinity that defines the Godhead as being composed of THREE distinct co-eternal and co-equal divine beings making up the GODHEAD.

Please read in the Bible itself where we again are taught in SIMPLICITY that the Godhead DWELT IN Jesus, rather than, Jesus being a PART OF the Godhead as God the Son, the second person of the so-called “Trinitarian” Godhead of three God PERSONS making up the one true God. Here is Colossians 2:8,9 where we can clearly see the Godhead DWELLING IN the SON OF Almighty God whole alone is the GODHEAD in ONE person.

Colossians 2:8,9.

“Beware lest (Or beware for fear that) any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (Or NOT after Jesus being the ANOINTED one OF Almighty God where the ANOINTING was IN Jesus)

9. For (Or because we clearly have seen that) IN him (Or IN Jesus the SON OF God, IN) him DWELLS all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

First of all, according to the context in Colossians chapter 1, the FULNESS of the Godhead did NOT dwell in Jesus until AFTER the cross. For you see, that is when the Father GLORIFIED His human Son, Jesus, with His own glory and GAVE Jesus ALL power and authority. During the days of his flesh, Jesus had the EARNEST of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him and he could do NOTHING OF himself. And, according to John 14:10,11, it was the Father who dwelt in Jesus during the days of his flesh who actually did the mighty works of healing and raising the dead. But after the cross, Jesus was made a quickening Spirit which means that Jesus was GIVEN the power to raise the dead at his coming again and give eternal life to those of us who are found WORTHY.

Also, the word FULLNESS means ALL of the Godhead DWELT IN Jesus after the cross. So then, clearly, seeing that ALL the Godhead DWELT IN Jesus after the cross, it is not possible for Jesus to be the so-called SECOND person OF the Godhead Trinity God. It is not rational to say that the Son dwelt IN the Son along with the Father and the Holy Spirit. And by the “Trinitarian” definition of the term “Godhead” then God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit DWELT IN God the Son during the days of his flesh. The word “Godhead” is found three times in the Bible and the term Godhead ALWAYS refers to the Father ALONE. Look up the word Godhead for yourself in your Bible concordance and read the CONTEXT where those three verses of Scripture are found and you will see that I am teaching you the TRUTH of God's word.

And I would also like to point out that the phrase “after the RUDIMENTS of the world” in Colossians 2:8 is LITERALLY translated as “after the ELEMENTS of the world”. Now, to me, this is like the Apostle Paul, the writer of Colossians knew that some Christians would try and use the elements of creation like TIME, SPACE, and MATTER to SPOIL other Christians through PHILOSOPHY or through one's own personal INTERPRETATION and VAIN DECEIT of false teaching that is VAIN or useless and really does not ADD to one's faith to empower them to overcome the enemy.

For you see, SOME Trinitarian churches also wrongly teach the ONLY Jesus can live without sin BECAUSE Jesus is Almighty God Himself. Now IF this were true then HOW could we possibly have faith to obey our CALLING to follow the STEPS of Jesus who did NO SIN? But, know that Jesus was human during the days of his FLESH and that he overcame sin THROUGH the Eternal Holy Spirt DWELLING IN him which is the SAME earnest of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us to empower us to overcome sin then it is EASY to have faith in the TRUTH of God's word. So then, using patterns of three in creation is after TRADITION of men which is exactly what the doctrine of the Trinity is, the TRADITION of MEN. It literally took men CENTURIES to form this man-made doctrine and ultimately INTIMIDATE and even force believers to accept it as the truth with the threat of being persecuted, mocked, called heretics, excommunicated from the church, exiled out of the country, and even martyred for denying the doctrine of the Trinity.

Please notice the ELEMENTS of the world or element patterns of three in creation being used in this article to VAINLY deceives some Christians that ONLY Jesus can live without sin because Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh, according to the doctrine of the Trinity. The doctrine of the Trinity blinds the eyes of Christians from truly seeing that the SAME eternal Spirit who empowered Jesus to overcome sin NOW DWELLS IN us, as Christians, to EMPOWER us to overcome sin. It saddens me to hear Christians parroting what they are being taught that they CANNOT live without sin and ONLY Jesus was able to live without sin because they are falsely taught Jesus was Almighty God Himself during the days of his flesh when Jesus was TEMPTED in all point like we are tempted yet without sin.

Now, Almighty God Himself can NOT be tempted. And thus, Jesus could NOT be the Almighty God Himself because Jesus was tempted. And do NOT believe the so-called two natures of Jesus at the SAME time garbage and only his human nature was tempted because there are NO Scriptures that teach us that Jesus had two natures at the same time. And if you insist that Jesus had two natures at the same time and only his human nature was tempted but yet without sin then YOU can also live without sin WITHOUT God’s NATURE dwelling IN you. Can you not see, how ridiculous the arguments of the so-called two nature doctrine of the Deity of Jesus are when you truly think it through for yourself? Let us move on to the next Trinitarian argument.

With Time; for example, the past is distinct from the present, which is distinct from the future. Each is simultaneous. Yet, they are not three 'times,' but one. That is, they all share the same nature: time

With Space; height is distinct from the width, which is distinct from depth, which is distinct from the height. Yet, they are not three 'spaces,' but one. That is, they all share the same nature: space.

With Matter; solid is not the same as a liquid, which is not the same as gas, which is not the same as solid. Yet, they are not three 'matters,' but one. That is, they all share the same nature: matter.

Note that there are three sets of threes. In other words, there is a trinity of trinities. As we look at the universe and notice these qualities within it, is it fair to say that these are the fingerprints of God upon His creation? I think so. Not only is this simply an observation, but it is also a good source for an analogy of the Trinity. As we look at the simplicity of each part, it is easy to understand the magnitude of the whole.

Now, while I agree that these elements of creation are distinct from each other I do NOT agree that this analogy proves that God Himself is a Trinity with three distinct persons making up the one true God. As I said early one could have just as easily picked the patterns of TWO being in creation to try and prove that the Bible teaches only TWO rather than three. God made us with TWO eyes to see. We have TWO ears to hear. God made day differ from the night, light from the darkness. The earth is divided into TWO hemispheres. We have a north pole and a south pole. God made man and God made woman. God set before us life or death. And the list goes on and on as one dwells on the patterns of TWO in creation. So the ME, the analogy of three being found in creation does not prove that God is a Trinity. It simply means that there are patterns of three just like there are patterns of two, four six, eight, and so forth. So the patterns of three prove nothing.

And I might add that there is far more Scriptural evidence in the Bible that shows the Holy Spirit as being ONE and the SELF-SAME being as the Father than there Scriptural evidence for the Holy Spirit to be a so-called third person who is not the Father or the Son. Also, the Bible itself teaches us we must believe in BOTH the Father and the Son and if we do not have the Son then we do not have the Father. And when Jesus defended himself from being accused of making himself God he used the Scripture of the Testimony of TWO witnesses. Jesus said he is ONE witness and the Father is the second witness. So if so be that God is a Trinity then why did Jesus not pounce on the testimony of two or THREE witnesses and say that the third witness is the Holy Spirit?

Strictly from The Bible.

As it should always be. I am a firm believer that we should base the teachings of the church on Scripture first and only use church history if it agrees with the whole word of God. Again we must always base what we teach upon ALL of God's word, and NOT just upon PART of God's word. Sound Biblical teachings use the WHOLE word of God as opposed to taking verses OUT of CONTEXT and NOT considering the conclusion that is drawn in the LIGHT of the rest of God's word. In other words, I will show my readers and seekers of the truth of the WHOLE word of God that the following verses cited in this trinitarian article do NOT take into consideration the WHOLE word of God.

The members of the Trinity are distinguished one from another in various passages: In the Old Testament, "LORD" is distinguished from "Lord" (Genesis 19:24; Hosea 1:4).

I AGREE that LORD refers to Almighty God Yahweh in almost every case and Lord refers to a lord under the supreme LORD Yahweh. But what I do not agree with is that God is a Trinity. The Bible itself clearly teaches us that there is ONE God in ONE person who alone is the Father.

The "LORD" has a "Son" (Psalm 2:7, 12; Proverbs 30:2-4).

I agree that those are PROPHECIES and Yahweh beget Himself a HUMAN Son first and then that human Son of MAN, Jesus, was given to die for our sins, according to Isaiah 9:6,7. And AFTER the cross Yahweh SET His now highly exalted human Son to be His King. God had no Son during the Old Testament times until the prophesied CHILD was born of a virgin. Simply read Hebrews 1:5 and Acts 13:33,24 to see the RTUTH that Yahweh PROPHESIED His human Son into existence at the virgin birth and after the cross, God raised His human Son from the dead. And on that very day of the resurrection of the Son of MAN, Jesus, the Son of man BECAME the ETERNAL Son of God never to die again. Please read the three-part study “WHEN DID JESUS BECOME THE ETERNAL SON OF GOD?”

Spirit is distinguished from the "LORD" (Numbers 27:18) and from "God"(Psalm 51:10-12).

I DISAGREE.

Please read the in-depth study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for all the verses that prove that there is just ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT, who IS Almighty God the FATHER. I do agree that SOME verses may SEEM like the Holy Spirit COULD be seen as a separate person sent by God. But in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God, the Holy Spirit is clearly seen as being the ONE Eternal Spirit who alone is Almighty God the FATHER Himself, the SOURCE of all that is.

God the Son is distinguished from God the Father (Psalm 45:6-7; Hebrews 1:8-9).

I AGREE. The God OF Jesus is the Father which makes Jesus a God as opposed to being THE Almighty God Himself in the flesh. The Bible itself clearly teaches us that God DWELT IN Jesus and now God DWELLS in us as Christians but that does NOT make us be Almighty God Himself.

In the New Testament, John 14:16-17 is where Jesus speaks to the Father about sending a Helper, the Holy Spirit. This shows that Jesus did not consider Himself to be the Father or the Holy Spirit.

I AGREE.

But I might also add that another comforter does not demand that the Holy Spirit is a so-called THIRD person that is a separate person from the Father. Jesus is talking about the Holy Spirit dwelling in believers to abide continually and never leave us. Whereas, before in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit came and went and only dwelt IN Jesus starting at his baptism in the River Jordan by John the Baptist to being the ministry of Jesus ANOINTED. Remember that Jesus said the Father dwelt in him. So another comforter simply means another TYPE of being comforted by the SAME Holy Spirit which is the Father, as in, the EARNEST of His own self-same Spirit being remaining in us as opposed to being with us here and there coming and going. Jesus told his disciples that the Holy Spirit was WITH them but he shall be IN you. And that is the meaning of ANOTHER comforter. A comforter that REMAINS and does not leave like Jesus was going to LEAVE them. During the life of Jesus as a child growing up, the comforter was WITH the child VISITING him morning by morning. But at his baptism that Holy Spirit came to REMAIN with Jesus. So Jesus received ANOTHER comforter which was the SAME Holy Spirit who comforted Jesus in ANOTHER WAY by reaming and never leaving him. Also, Jesus was the comforter who prayed to the Father FOR his disciples and when ANOTHER comforter came they could pray for themselves. So another comforter does not demand that the Holy Spirit must be a so-called third person.

Consider also all of the other times in the Gospels where Jesus speaks to the Father. Was He speaking to Himself? No. He spoke to another person in the Trinity; The Father.

NO! Jesus was speaking to the ONLY TRUE God in ONE person who alone is the Father, according to John 17:1-2. God is NOT a Trinity Godhead. There is but ONE true God in ONE person and the one person is the Father ALONE. But I do agree that Jesus is NOT the Father. In other words, I agree that Jesus is a separate distinct being and person from the FATHER. But again, I do NOT agree that God is a TRINITY or that Jesus was speaking to another person of a so-called Trinity. Personally, I believe that the WHOLE word of God teaches us that there are only TWO and NOT three. Again, please read the in-depth study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER !” along with all the related studies explaining the errors of the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of Oneness or modalism.

Each member of the Trinity is God: The Father is God: John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2.

I AGREE that Almighty God the Father is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God who is over ALL including His SON Jesus. But again, I do NOT agree that God is a so-called Trinity.

The Son is God: John 1:1, 14; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20.

NO! John 1:1 says the word or the SAI was God and NOT that the Son was God. Trinitarians READ INTO John 1:1 that the Son was God because the word or the SAYING was made flesh and we all know that John 1:14 is speaking of Jesus. It does NOT Say the Son was made flesh. And after the word was made flesh the word of God was FULFILLED. It is true that Jesus is called God by his God and Father in Hebrews 1:8 and by Thomas, but actually, the only verse where we are clearly and plainly taught that Jesus is CALLED God by TITLE is Hebrews 1:8. But keep in mind that we are ALSO clearly taught in the very next verse that the Father is THE GOD OVER His SON Jesus. And the truth of the matter is that the human Son of MAN, Jesus, actually became “a” God under the Father AFTER the cross when his God HIGHLY EXALTED his SON because of his OBEDIENCE to die on the cross. Read the context very carefully and you will see that it was AFTER Jesus loved righteousness and hated iniquity as the REASON that the Father ANOINTED His human Son with the oil of GLADNESS to be ABOVE his FELLOWS. So was the supposed pre-existing God the Son SAD up in heaven? I mean, why would and already God the Son be anointed with the oil of GLADNESS? I will tell you why. Almighty God the Father Yahweh SET a JOY before His human Son Jesus, to ENDURE the cross, according to Hebrews 112:2. And the JOY of GLADNESS is the Son of MAN, Jesus being ANOINTED as Yahweh's King of kings and Lord of Lords AFTER he endured the cross. Now, if so be that Jesus was Almighty God Himself during the days of his flesh then he would have already been above everything, his fellows and the angels. But you see, the Bible itself teaches us that Jesus was made LOWER than the angels and then AFTER the cross he was crowned with glory and honor to be ABOVE his brethren who will be made joint-heirs with Jesus to inherit the world to come.

I also want to just briefly point out the error in INTERPRETATION in the other verses cited here as the so-called proof texts to try and prove that Jesus is the Almighty God Himself. Just briefly, John 1:1 does NOT say that Jesus was WITH God, and Jesus was God, but rather, the word of truth simply states that the WORD, the LOGOS, or the SAYING was WITH THE God and the saying or the spoken word was God. So then, it is the INTERPRETATION of ONLY Trinitarain Christians that MAKE this verse say what THEY NEED it to say. And Trinitarian Christians NEED a pre-existing Son who had NO beginning and who is EQUAL with the Father in every way where neither is great than or subject to the other or the doctrine of the Trinity falls apart. And the truth of the matter is that the word “god” in John 1:1c could also be translated as “A” God was the SAYING. Please read the in-depth study called “JOHN 1:1 THE WORD WAS GOD!”.

As for Romans 9:5, it is simply a translator's error misleading some to wrongly INTERPRET this verse as Jesus being God. First, let us read this verse from the King James translation.

Romans 9:5.

“Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.”

Now, in SIMPLICITY, like many other verses of Scripture, the Apostles always gave the glory and honor to Almighty God the FATHER. And this verse in Romans 9:5 is doing the very same thing saying blessed be God forever. Amen. This is referring to the blessing being given to Almighty God the Father for performing His own word of prophecy to bring it to pass. It was the word made flesh and NOT the Son made flesh. The word in John 1:1 is God's word of PROPHECY. And what was FULFILLED after the cross is a God under and subject to his God. So the FULFILMENT of what actually came to pass is proof that the word God in John 1:1c should be translated as and God was the SAYING. And 1 Timothy 3:16 should also be translated as a God was manifest in the FLESH. Please read the study “1 TIMOTHY 3:17 GOD MANIFEST IN THE FLESH!”

The subject under discussion in the context of Romans 9:5 is God's chosen people the Israelites OUT OF whom according to the FLESH came forth Jesus, the MESSIAH. And that is exactly what was PROPHESIED in the Old Testament that God would raise up FROM AMONG the PEOPLE of Israel their CHRIST.

Here is the LITERAL translation of Romans 9:5.

“Of whom the fathers (Speaking of the fathers of Israel) and OUT of whom the ANOINTED the according to flesh (Or according to the flesh. In other words, OUT of the LINAGE or seed of the tribes of Israel, who are the fathers came the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one of God) the one being over all God blessed into the eons Amen.”

Now, one can INTERPRET this verse several ways, but again, whatever the INTERPRETATION that is concluded, drawn, or interpreted then it MUST AGREE with ALL the rest of God's word. You have already heard the INTERPRETATION making the claim that this verse is saying that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God because of the phrase the one being “OVER ALL God blessed forever, Amen.”

My INTERPRETATION of Romans 9:5 is that Jesus was ANOINTED by God FULFILLING His promise to raise up Hi ANOINTED from among the people and Paul is simply giving thanks and blessing to Almighty God the Father for raising up a savior to save the people from their sins.

And another interpretation is that the word “God” is referring to Jesus as BECOMING a God AFTER the cross. For you see, the Greek word translates as forever literally means INTO the eons meaning into the ages to come. And the prophecies do prophecy that his NAME will be CALLED the Mighty God WHEN the government is laid upon his shoulders which we know is speaking of the world yet to come. So then, in the world to come Jesus will rule as God FOR Yahweh the Father IN Yahweh’s NAME for 1000 years until his rule ENDS at the end of the Millennium, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28. And in the world to come the now highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus who became God's ETERNAL Son after the cross will be blessed and even worshiped in the world to come as God to the GLORY OF Almighty God the Father, according to Philippians 2:8-11. Please read the study “ARE THERE TWO GODS?”

And yet another interpretation is that the word “ALL” is referring to the ALL of whosever believes seeing that Jesus is the HEAD over his church to the glory OF the Father who MADE Jesus both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 2:36. And again, Jesus became the HEAD over the church after the cross because there would be no church without the cross and the resurrection of Jesus and his being GIVEN the divine nature of eternal life to give us hope to also be made partakers of the divine nature of immortality at his coming, according to 2 Peter 1:4.

Now let us take a closer look at 1 John 5:20 by first reading it from the King James Version. I will highlight all the words and pronouns that refer to Almighty God the Father in orange and all the words and pronouns the refer to Jesus I will highlight in yellow.

1 John 5:20.

“And we know that the SON OF God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, (Seeing that Jesus came to SHOW us and give us an UNDERSTANDING of the Father) and we are in Him (Speaking of being IN the FATHER) that is true, even (The word EVEN here is NOT in the original Greek text and thus this ADDED word can lead some to MISINTERPRET this verse as Jesus being the one who is the TRUE God. But in truth, this verse is actually saying that we are IN the FATHER who is TRUE when we are) in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, AND (This is) eternal life.”

In other words, by believing IN the Son we are IN the Father who is the ONLY TRUE God, according to Jesus himself in Jon 17:1-3. And if we have BOTH the Son and the Father then that is eternal life. For you see, the Jews believe in the Father but they do not have the Son. And if one is not in the Son then they are not abiding in the Father either in the WAY that He Himself commands under the New Covenant written in the New Testament.

Let us now read the LITERAL translation of this verse in 1 John 5:20.

“We have perceived that the SON OF THE God is arriving (Or is coming again) and has given us comprehension that we may be knowing the true one and we are IN the true one IN the SON OF HIM Jesus anointed (Remember that ANOINTED means the indwelling of the Father) this one (Speaking of the FATHER) is the TRUE God AND (Being in BOTH, as in, being in the Father BY being In the Son is) eternal life.”

The phrase “we are IN the TRUE ONE IN the SON OF HIM” clearly identifies Almighty God the Father as the TRUE ONE. Can you not see that Jesus is the Son OF HIM who is the true one and we are in HIM, the true one, by being IN the SON of HIM AND this is eternal life. Now, when we COMPARE like Scripture with this Scripture that is in question then we can confirm the above interpretation as being the truth of the whole word of God. Please read the words of Jesus found in John 17:2,3 where Jesus is praying to his God and Father the ONLY TRUE and ALMIGHTY God.

John 17:2-3.

“As YOU (Father) have GIVEN him (the SON) power over all flesh, (AFTER the cross) that he (The SON) should give eternal life to as many as YOU (Father) have GIVEN him.

3. And THIS is life eternal, THAT they might know YOU (Father) the ONLY TRUE God, AND (That they may also know your SON) Jesus Christ, whom YOU have sent.”

The word sent means COMMISSIONED which means that Jesus was GIVEN power and authority to accomplish the task that Yahweh the Father gave him to do. So then, all that Jesus has was GIVEN to him by his God, Yahweh the Father who alone is the ONLY TRUE God.

And when we compare this clear plain statement of fact with no interpretation needed to the rest of God's word then we learn that we MUST have the SON in order to have the Father, then we can clearly see that the TRUE God in both of these verses are speaking ONLY of the FATHER and that the ONLY WAY to the Father and to obtain ETERNAL LIFE is to be IN the SON having BOTH the Father AND the SON.

Consider the CONTEXT of 1 John 5:20 which clearly teaches us that being IN the SON places us IN Almighty God the Father. Please read 1 John 4:15 where we are taught in the word of TRUTH to confess our belief that Jesus is the SON OF God.

1 John 4:15.

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the SON OF God, God dwells IN him, and he IN God.”

So then, when we are IN the SON by CONFESSING that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God, then we are IN the Father the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God. Nowhere in the Bible itself are we commanded to believe and confess that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh. But we MUST believe that Jesus is the SON OF God in order to be saved. Let us move on to the next part of this article.

The Holy Spirit is God: Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16 (The One who indwells is the Holy Spirit - Romans 8:9; John 14:16-17; Acts 2:1-4).

I totally AGREE that the ETERNAL Holy Spirit is ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God who ALONE has always been and ever shall be ETERNAL without beginning nor end. The Bible clearly teaches us the God IS SPIRIT and that THE ONE TRUE God who cannot be SEEN by mortal man is the one who ONLY has IMMORTALITY. And since the Spirit is Eternal and there are no verses of Scripture that teacher the Holy Spirit was GIVEN eternal life to be having in Himself life we see the Son is GIVEN eternal life. Then, to me, the eternal Holy Spirit IS the Father Himself. Again, please read the study “ WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for all the verses that clearly teach us that there is but ONE SPIRIT and but ONE God that is Spirit who alone is the FATHER.

The subordination within the Trinity:

Scripture shows that the Holy Spirit is subordinate to the Father and the Son, and the Son is subordinate to the Father.

Now, this is NEW to the doctrine of the Trinity that has been ADDED in later years due to Trinitarians NOT being able to explain away how a co-equal God the Son is under and subject to his God. As a child growing up in the Roman Catholic Church, I was taught that the Father and the Son are equal in every way where neither is greater than nor less than the other. And only recently have I heard Trinitarian Christians openly admit that the co-equal part of the doctrine of the Trinity CONTRADICTS what the Bible itself teaches us in simplicity.

So I agree most definitely that the SON is SUBORDINATE to his God and Father, but nowhere in Scripture are we clearly taught that the Father is THE GOD OVER His OWN Holy Spirit. But rather, in truth many verses make it clear to us that the Holy Spirit IS the FATHER and that the SPIRIT is everywhere. Thus, the part of the Holy Spirit is PART of an EARNEST of God Himself that He Himself sent to perform the WORK. An analogy would be like our brain telling our own body to lift something up. Our body is NOT a separate being of its own that is told to do something. Our body is a PART of our own being. Our body is SUBJECT to our whole being, but our body is NOT a distinctly different being of its own apart from us making our body and our self as being two different separate beings.

And in like manner, as the body obeys the MIND of the body so is it when we picture God as being SPIRIT and being everywhere, then we can understand that the MIND of Spirit IS the Father. And when the Father speaks to a PART of HIMSELF then that PART of God's very own self-same being obeys the mind of the Spirit to perform what the MIND of God is directing that PART of Himself to do. So y point is that we do NOT have to make the Holy Spirit be an IMPERSONAL FORCE or power that is used by God. Nor do we have to make or force the ONE Eternal SPIRIT to be a SEPARATE distinctly different person apart from the Father. Remember that God IS Spirit and there is but ONE Spirit. Therefore, the INTERPRETATION of the Holy SPIRIT being a SEPARATE and DIFFERENT Spirit from Almighty God the Father who is SPIRIT would make TWO SPIRITS and that Trinitarian interpretation CONTRADICTS the word of TRUTH that teaches us that there is but ONE SPIRIT.

This is an internal relationship and does not deny the deity of any person of the Trinity. This is simply an area that our finite minds cannot understand concerning the infinite God.

I totally agree that the ONE SPIRIT is indeed DIVINE in nature. God IS SPIRIT and there is just ONE SPIRIT. The SPIRIT is called ETERNAL in Hebrews 9:14 and we know that the Holy Spirit is INVISIBLE and cannot be SEEN by mortal man. We also know that ONLY the ALMIGHTY has always been IMMORTAL or ETERNAL and that there is but ONE TRUE God. So then, in truth, Almighty God the Father and His OWN Holy Spirit are NOT two separate distinct persons, but rather, the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT IS the FATHER, who is most definitely DIVINE in nature.

Concerning the Son see: Luke 22:42;

This verse teaches us that the Son has his OWN will which he himself of his own free will made SUBJECT to his God and Father's WILL to die on the cross. This most definitely proves Jesus being subordinate to his God and Father, but this verse does NOT prove that Jesus was FULLY the DIVINE ALMIGHTY God in the flesh and fully a human being at the same time.

John 5:36; John 20:21; 1 John 4:14.

Again, all these verses and many more absolutely prove that Jesus is SUBORDINATE to his God and Father, but they do NOT prove that Jesus HIMSELF was fully a DIVINE being in the flesh. In fact, all these verses prove that the doctrine of the trinity is FALSE teaching. You cannot be co-equal with another when the other is your BOSS.

Again, I want to point out that I fully believe that Jesus came out from God being conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the spoken word of God. So if there is a trinity of the WORKING of the ONE God in ONE person who ALONE is the Father then to WORKING would be the Father SPEAKING His own word out from His mouth as PROPHECY or as calling things into existence that never existed before, And then the Father's OWN self-same being of Spirit performs the word of prophecy to bring it to pass. So as an analogy, the Father on the throne in the mind of Spirit called the mind of God seeing that God is Spirit and there is only ONE Spirit. The TRUE Gospel was preached to the Jews who believe that there is but ONE God who is ONE being in ONE person. And 1 Corinthians 8:6 clearly teaches that to the first-century Christians there is but ONE God who alone is the FATHER. And to the first-century Christians, there is but ONE Lord whom the ONE God in ONE person called the Father MADE Lord after the cross, according to AActs 2:56. Please read the study WHAT DOES GOD INCARNATE MEAN?”

Concerning the Holy Spirit see: John 14:16; 14:26; 15:26; 16:7 and especially John 16:13-14.

John 14:16; 14:26; 15:26; 16:7 and especially John 16:13-14 are all speaking of God sending us ANOTHER comforter, or helper, or teacher, which in truth, is an EARNEST of Yahweh the Father HIMSELF, as in, a part of His very own self-same SPIRIT being sent to DWELL IN us.

I can see the argument of the Holy Spirit HEARING and then teaching us what he HEARS. So from WHOM does the Holy Spirit HEAR, seeing that there is only ONE ETERNAL Spirit who is the ONE TRUE God Himself.

Well, to me, much like the whole body COMMUNICATES to ITSELF so does the Father SPEAK to His very own self-same being of SPIRIT that is likened to the body of God, if you will. I understand that the Spirit is everywhere and He does not have a body in the same way that we have a body. So this is just an analogy between the human body communicating to ITSELF and Almighty God speaking to His OWN self-same SPIRIT being who is present everywhere. The Father was in heaven on His throne while at the same time dwelling IN His human Son down on the earth. And the Father dwelling in Jesus is also called the Holy Spirit in Acts 10:38 for God was WITH him. So to me, there is no doubt that the Holy Spirit IS God Himself but that does NOT prove that the Holy Spirit is a so-called THIRD person who is a distinctly different person from the Father. For you see, the Father is always clearly identified as being God. And there are only TWO verses where Jesus is CALLED God. And both of those verses of Scriptures are AFTER the cross which is when the human Jesus was MADE a God and a Lord and a King by his God and Father.

The tasks of the individual members of the Trinity: The Father is the ultimate source or cause of: 1) the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11); 2) divine revelation (Revelation 1:1); 3) salvation (John 3:16-17); and 4) Jesus' human works (John 5:17; 14:10). The Father INITIATES all of these things.

And that makes the Godhead be ONE person who ALONE in the FATHER.

I totally agree that Almighty God is the SOURCE of all including being the source that brought forth his only begotten Son into being where the Son never existed before EXCEPT in the MIND and PLAN of Almighty God to one day have a Son. But again, I do NOT believe that God is a “Trinity Godhead of three separate persons in the one Godhead.

The Son is the agent through whom the Father does the following works: 1) the creation and maintenance of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17); 2) divine revelation (John 1:1; Matthew 11:27; John 16:12-15; Revelation 1:1); and 3) salvation (2 Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 1:21; John 4:42). The Father does all these things through the Son, who functions as His agent.

As far as the SON being the agent that is used by God or through whom creation is maintained I have to DISAGREE. Please read the study “EPHESIANS 3:9-11 DID JESUS CREATE ALL THINGS?” for all the scriptures that clearly show us that Almighty God HIMSELF created all things FOR His SON Jesus where His human SON Jesus was the PURPOSE for all the recreation or restoring of this present world. And God created the worlds to come FOR His now eternal Son after the cross to INHERIT. Also read all the studies under the heading >>>IS JESUS THE CREATOR?<<< But for now, we will just briefly look at the above verses given as proof text in this article.

1 Corinthians 8:6.

“But to us, there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom (The Greek word translated as BY here also mean FOR. So in truth, the correct translation should read FOR whom because Jesus will INHERIT the world to come) are all things, and we by him.”

Also, please notice that this verse clearly and plainly IDENTIFIES the ONE true God as being the FATHER. Please read the study “IS JESUS ALMIGHTY GOD?” and decide for yourself after considering the WHOLE of God's word. And I might add that the word “things’ is NOT in the original text and the context is speaking about WE, as believers are by Jesus or IN Jesus and because of Jesus laying down his own life of his own free will. For you see, the word translated as “by” also means IN him, through him, and because of him. So this verse does NOT prove that Jesus is the creator, or Jesus is the agent that God used to create the worlds. The ONLY creation that God used Jesus to create is the ALL of WHOSEVER believes in Jesus.

The next verse John 1:3 used as a proof text for God being a Trinity by trying to prove that Jesus is the creator or that Jesus is the agent that God used to create the heavens and the earth in the eternity past.

John 1:3.

“All things were made by him, and without him was not any [thing] made that was made.”

Again, the word “things” is NOT in the original text. And the context is about Jesus being the LIGHT of the world. SO again, the word ALL is speaking of the ALL of whoever believes. And thus, not one of the ALL was made without Jesus dying on the cross for his brothers, his FELLOWS. Please read the study “JOHN 1:1-5,14,18 TRULY MEAN? for a deeper understanding of what this highly controversial passage of Scripture truly means in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God.

Colossians 1:16,17 is speaking of both the firstborn of every creature as being God’s NEW creation. So again the context of these two verses is speaking about the ALL of whoever believes and NOT the creation of the entire universe in the eternity past.

Colossians 1:16,17.

“For by (Should have been translated as IN) him were all [things] created, (Speaking of the ALL of WHOSOEVER believes) that are in heaven, and that are in earth, (Speaking of the saints in heaven and the saints on the earth, The word things in NOT in the original text) visible and invisible, (Again, speaking of the seen saints on the earth and the unseen saint up in heaven) whether they thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; (Which is speaking of Almighty God creating the seats of authority in the world to come FOR His SON Jesus) all [things] were created by him, and for him: (Again, still speaking of God's NEW creation where Jesus is the BEGINNING of this NEW creation. So then, the ALL who believe were created IN Jesus and FOR Jesus)

17. And he is before (Or he preferred above) all things, and by him all [things] consist.”

Again, the word “things” is NOT in the original text so Jesu is ABOVE the ALL who believe as being the HEAD of the church and BECAUSE OF him the ALL who believe stand together. This can mean resurrected together. It can mean held fast together. It can mean supported together by Jesus helping us stand. The NEW creation consists BECAUSE of Jesus OBEYING his God and father to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of mankind so that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES on Jesus shall NOT perish but have eternal life in the NEW world to come. We LIVE because Jesus LIVES. Without Jesus becoming obedient unto death on the cross there would be NO NEW creation of God. Please read the study “EPHESIANS 3:9-11---DID JESUS CREATE ALL THINGS?” for all the verses and literal translations that fully explain in detail what I just said above. Also, please read the LITERAL word of word translation of the Textus Receptus that the KJV is also translated from so you can see that the word ALL is speaking of BELIEVERS IN him and not the entire universe.

Now as far as Jesus being the AGENT so to speak that THROUGH WHOM Almighty God made salvation available for WHOSOEVER of BELIEVES that Jesus is the SON OF God who died for their sins I do agree. Please read the study “TITUS 2:13---WHO IS OUR SAVIOUR GOD OR JESUS?”

The Holy Spirit is the means by whom the Father does the following works: 1) creation and maintenance of the universe (Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; Psalm 104:30); 2) divine revelation (John 16:12-15; Ephesians 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21); 3) salvation (John 3:6; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:2); and 4) Jesus' works (Isaiah 61:1; Acts 10:38). Thus the Father does all these things by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says NOT by might nor by POWER but BY my Spirit. So the Holy Spirit IS the power, as in the SOURCE OF the power. I do agree with these Trinitarian statements in the sense that God HIMSELF is using HIMSELF to do all these works. But I disagree that the Holy Spirit is a SEPARATE person from the Father.

None of the popular illustrations are completely accurate descriptions of The Trinity. The egg fails in that the shell, white, and yolk are parts of the egg, not the egg in themselves. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not parts of God, each of them is God. The water illustration is somewhat better but still fails to adequately describe the Trinity. Liquid, vapor, and ice are forms of water. His fingerprints in the universe are much clearer. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not forms of God, each of them is God. So, while these popular illustrations plus His fingerprints in the universe give us great-looking pictures of the Trinity, the pictures are not entirely clear and accurate.

An Infinite God cannot be fully described by finite illustrations.

I totally agree with this statement. No analogy gives the true COMPLETE picture of Almighty God. But I do disagree that ALL of God DWELLS IN us as believers because the Bible plainly states that we have been given an EARNEST of His Holy Spirit. An EARNEST is a down payment or a PART of the whole and NOT the WHOLE. Jesus said that he cast out the devil with just the FINGER of God. And if ALL of God dwelt IN Jesus there would be no God up in heaven for Jesus to pray to. I have had some Trinitaarain Christians argue that God can NOT divide Himself but yet they openly admit that the Holy Spirit IS God and that the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer at the same time but does NOT dwell in unbelievers. So if a so-called THIRD person who is God the Holy Spirit can divide Himself up then WHY can not the Father divide Himself up. Is the Holy Spirit greater in power to be able to divide Himself up and God cannot divide Himself? NO! The Holy Spirit IS the Father and all the arguments of Trinitarian Christians are just smoke and mirrors to keep Trinitarian Christians in the Trinitarian church denominations.

Instead of focusing on the Trinity, try to focus on the fact that God's greatness and nature are infinitely higher than our own. “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his ways past finding out.!” (Romans 11:33) The Bible only instructs us to believe Now and understanding will come later (I Cor. 13:9-12)

“For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now, we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:

now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known”.

This is how almost every study I have read on the Trinity ends by saying that the Trinity is a MYSTERY past finding out. In truth, it is GIVEN for us to KNOW the deep things of God, according to 1 Corinthians 2:10-16.

1 Corinthians 2:10-16.

“But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.

10. BUT God has REVEALED them unto us BY His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the things of God no man knows, but the Spirit of God. (As in, only those who are saved and has the Holy Spirit in them can understand the deeper things in the word of God)

12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, BUT the spirit which is OF God; that we might KNOW the things that are freely GIVEN to us of God. (Including the DEEP things of God)

13. Which things also we speak, NOT in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. (Do not let any man JUDGE you and tell you that you are NOT saved if you do NOT believe in the doctrine of the Trinity using John 8:24 to try and prove that you are DEAD in your sins if you deny that Jesus is ALMIGHTY God or YAHWEH HIMSELF. Please read the study “JOHN 8:24-YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THAT I AM HE!”)

16. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? (Speaking of those in the world) But WE have the mind of Christ.”

Or the SAME Eternal Spirit who DWELT IN Jesus WE now have DWELLING IN us as believers.

Special Summary Insert:

Christians believe God is three persons in one: God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit.

NO! Only Trinitarian Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. It is made clear by some in the mainstream Trinitarian church denominations that ONLY those who believe and teach the doctrine of the Trinity are TRUE Christians. And I highly DISAGREE with this false teaching that INTIMIDATES Christians by abusing the Scriptures saying that Christians MUST believe in the doctrine of the so-called Trinity Godhead IN ORDER to be SAVED! This is no better than the Roman Catholic Church excommunicating and even killing true born-again Christians for DENYING the doctrine of the Trinity.

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity states the unity of these three persons in one divine Being known as the Godhead.

Again, this “unity” teaching is NEW to the doctrine of the Trinity due to so many Christians exposing the error of interpretations made by Trinitarian and Oneness Pentecostal Christians. So in order to keep Trinitarian Christians in their Trinitarian churches, they NEED to change the word of the doctrine of the Trinity to fit better with what the Bible ITSELF teaches concerning the UNITED as ONE in agreement toward the same goal.

ONLY those who believe in the doctrine of the doctrine or the trinity teach that the Godhead is THREE persons in one God, which again CONTRADICTS the clear word of God that plainly states that the FULLNESS or ALL the Godhead DWELT IN the SON OF Almighty God. And it is nonsensical to say that the Son dwells in the Son which is the Trinitarian meaning of the word Godhead. The sound Biblical means in ONE God is ONE person who alone IS the Godhead.

The doctrine of the Trinity is INFERRED from numerous Bible passages, but it is NOT stated explicitly in the Bible.

I absolutely agree that there are absolutely NO clear, plain, simple verses that neither clearly states nor teaches us that God is a so-called trinity. And the Trinity is only inferred if one READS INTO the Scripture to INFER that God is a Trinity.

We are baptized with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Acts 1:5, 11:15-16)

I totally AGREE! Every believer has been given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but not all believers have experienced the FULLNESS of God's Holy Spirit giving them the utterance of speaking in other tongues. I myself was saved for almost six months before I saw this truth and was FILLED with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Please read the study “THE POWER AND THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER!”

The Two Trinities

The Ontological Trinity is the Christian teaching that God consists of three simultaneous, eternal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each of the three persons are co-equal in their attributes and nature, but differ in how they relate to the world and to each other.

The word “ontology” means the branch of PHILOSOPHY that deals with being. In other words, the study by man related to the existence of being. In Christianity, it obviously means HOW did Almighty God the Father ALWAYS EXIST, and WHAT was His BEING? Was Almighty God DIVINE in nature having always existed WITHOUT beginning and without end? Obviously, the Bible, without a doubt, teaches us that Almighty God the Father has always existed from all eternity past as an IMMORTAL self-existing being, which we call DIVINE in nature or DEITY.

And we also know from the Bible that the Holy Spirit is ETERNAL and that Almighty God IS SPIRIT and that there is just ONE Spirit, which consequently teaches us that the Holy Spirit IS Almighty God the Father, as in, ONE and the SELF SAME BEING as the Almighty God the FATHER. Again please read the study “THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for all the Scriptures.

But what of the SON OF Almighty God the Father? Has Jesus ALWAYS been an ETERNAL being WITH God from all eternity past as some teach? Please read the study “DID JESUS PRE-EXIST AS THE SON OF GOD?”

The Economic Trinity deals with how the three persons in the Godhead relate to each other and the world. Each has different roles within the Godhead and each has different roles in relationship to the world (some roles overlap)

Now, I do not believe that the author of this article is actual saying that there are literally TWO Trinities, but rather, that there are two METHODS of studying the doctrine of the Trinity. And these two different METHODS of studying the Trinity try and define different aspects of the so-called “Trinity”.

The teachings of Jesus support the doctrine of The Trinity. See, (John 14:6-10, 14:25-26)

Again, while it is true that SOME verses like the above-quoted references do HINT or allude to THREE, there are other verses of Scripture that EXPRESSLY speaks of ONLY TWO, Almighty God the Father, AND His SON Jesus. Again, please read the study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for all the verses of Scriptures that clearly and plainly teach us about ONLY TWO.

My main issue with the doctrine of the Trinity actually began with the statement in the doctrine of the Trinity that Jesus is CO-EQUAL with Almighty God the Father.

Then as I studied the subject for myself by reading the Bible, I began to see the error of the doctrine of the Trinity and ALSO the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus which states that Jesus IS FULLY God in the flesh and fully man at the same time. The two nature Deity doctrine states that Jesus is fully ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF in the flesh and a human being at the same time having TWO natures at the SAME time, one DIVINE. and the other human. And since that doctrine states that they are his natures then that means Jesus also had TWO WILLS, one being the DIVINE will of Almighty God the Son and the other being his human will.

So as I kept on asking God how can this be and the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to more and more verses that clearly and plainly contradicted these man-made teachings. This led me to do even a more in-depth study on Jesus being CO-ETERNAL with Almighty God, as in the eternal Son pre-existing for all eternity past WITH the Father as God the Son never having a BEGINNING as only Trinitarian Christians teach. And through that study, I found many errors of translation that completely expose the error of Jesus pre-existing from all eternity past as God the Son.

And in the course of all those studies, God opened my eyes to the truth that there are ONLY TWO and NOT three as those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity dogmatically demand that there be in order to support their doctrine of “TRINITY”, which means THREE. For without THREE there can NOT be a doctrine of the “TRINITY”.

Now I omitted this Trinitarian brother's name and email because I do NOT give out any names or addresses of those who write to me. He closes with the following.

May God richly bless you and strengthen your faith in His Word.

And I agree with God blessing you richly as you continue to seek the Truth of the whole word of Almighty God, as opposed to you to be strengthened if the faith of man-made church doctrine that CONTRADICTS God’s word.

Interesting Note:

There are three Persons, of the same essence and power, who also are co-eternal, the Father the Son, and the Holy Ghost/Spirit

The ONE passage of Scripture that states this is I John 5:7-8.  And it is natural that the textual critics say that it should not be there because it is not found in some of the more recently found manuscripts.

Please read the study “1 JOHN 5;7----THESE THREE ARE ONE !” for an in-depth study on this verse leaving it just as it reads in the King James Version of the Bible. Also, please read the studies showing the mountain of evidence that John 5:7 and a part of verse 8 was DELIBERATELY forged and added by the Roman Catholic Church in the seventeenth century. Please read “WAS 1 JOHN 5:7 ADDED TO THE BIBLE?” and “IS THE KING JAMES BIBLE CORRUPTED?” And what I mean by corrupted is the King James Bible BIASED toward the doctrine of the Trinity?

One final NOTE:

Sometimes when the infinite God conveys His thoughts to finite man, then a mystery is the result. The Trinity is one of those mysterious truths

Again, this is how almost every teaching on the doctrine of the Trinity ends by basically saying that we must believe in the doctrine of the Trinity even though it cannot be explained in simplicity to be understood by all. And, therefore, it is one of those MYSTERIES of God that are past finding out by finite mind of man that we MUST believe in order to be saved, according to ONLY Trinitarian Christians. All other non-Trinitarains KNOW that they KNOW they are truly saved. If you are a Trinitarian Christian just think back to when you first became a Christian. Were you taught the doctrine of the Trinity as a part of the gospel that you must believe before you could be saved? I highly doubt it. I know that I was NOT told that I MUST believe in the doctrine of the Trinity before I could be saved. In fact, I was never told that I was not a true Christian UNTIL I began to QUESTION the doctrine of the Trinity. So to mean they use INTIMIDATION and FEAR by quoting John 8:24 that you will be dead in your sin IF you deny the doctrine of the Trinity. And YES, the doctrine of the Trinity is certainly a MYSTERIOUS and confusing doctrine BUT it is NOT the TRUTH.

However, the TRUTH, as in, the ONE TRUE God's TRUTH is not mysterious at all. Almighty God the Father's truth is very logical and very EASY to comprehend. The TRUTH that the Bible ITSELF teaches in SIMPLICITY is that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the living God.

So then, I must obey 1 Corinthians 9:16, which teaches us that we are compelled to share God's word no matter what persecution it may bring. We are persecuted for the word's sake. And I assure you that if you speak out against ANY false teaching in any church denomination you WILL be mocked, ridiculed, told you are not a true Christian, and even kicked out of their church or SHUNNED. But you will not be ALONE for God is bring the seekers of the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God out of the church denominations with man-made doctrines so that He can teach us His TRUTH.

1 Corinthians 9:16.

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of, for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”

And if you read what the very eyewitnesses of Jesus preached and taught you will not find one word they preached that explicitly states that Jesus is Almighty God Himself or the God is three persons if the one God, Plain and simple, the doctrine of the Trinity must be read INTO the SCRiptures, as in, every verse used by Trinitarian Christians must be INTERPRETED with the preconceive doctrine of the Trinity in mind.

Thanks for reading, and may God bless you richly as you continue to seek the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. Below are some other verses that are used to try and support the doctrine of the Trinity and the Deity of Jesus. There may be other verses that you may be having trouble seeing any other way than what you were dogmatically taught over and over for so long by your church denomination. But I assure you that each and every one of those verses of Scripture used by those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity and the pre-existence of Jesus does, indeed, have a different meaning that does NOT CONTRADICT any other part of God's word. If there is a verse that I have not listed in the list below then please do not hesitate to write and let me know. Some Trinitarian and Oneness verses are included in other studies and they may not appear as an individual study. If there is a verse or verses that you seem to struggle with only being able to see the doctrine of the Trinity or the doctrine of Oneness when you read those verses then please search out the truth by truly listening to the other side of the controversy. No one can arrive at the truth by hearing only ONE side of the controversy. I only present you with ALL the evidence that I myself have found and leave it to you to decide what you want to believe.

Brother Mark.
