SPELLING EDITED Q-10. Is LUCIFER JESUS?---WHO Is LUCIFER? The name Lucifer is found only ONE time in the King James Version of the Bible in Isaiah 14:12. And according to E-Sword, the Hebrew word “heylel” means morning star. So the name Lucifer means morning star. The Roman Catholic Church has a Bible translated into Latin and in the Latin language, the name Lucifer means light bearer or the one who brings light, as in, knowledge. Here is what E-Sword says about the Hebrew word that is transliterated as Lucifer. H1966 הֵילֵל hêylêl hay-lale' From H1984 (in the sense of brightness); the morning star: - lucifer. Total KJV occurrences: 1 Isaiah 14:12. “How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!” Now, almost all Christians believe that when Lucifer FELL from heaven he became Satan which means adversary or the enemy of God. BUT some Christians do NOT believe that Lucifer is Satan. Instead, they believe that the name Lucifer is simply referring to the HUMAN king of Babylon. In other words, they do NOT believe that Isaiah 14:12 is a prophecy referring to God’s enemy Satan, but rather they believe that Isaiah is mocking the human king of Babylon using a “metaphor” saying to the human king of Babylon, “How are you fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the morning!” Now, I myself believe that their view of Isaiah as being a “metaphor” can easily be proven wrong just by the immediate CONTEXT of Isaiah 14:12 which I will do in a moment at the end of this study. But for now, let us ASSUME that their argument, “IF Christians call Lucifer Satan then those Christians had better take heed because they may be calling Jesus himself Satan.” The Christians who do NOT believe that Lucifer became Satan get that line of reasoning from Revelation 22:16 where Jesus calls himself the bright and morning star. Revelation 22:16. “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” In other words, according to their misguided line of reasoning which says, since the Latin name Lucifer means light bearer and the Hebrew word “heylel” means morning star then Jesus must be Lucifer because Jesus said that HE is the morning star. NO! Jesus said that he is the BRIGHT AND morning star and nowhere do we find in Scripture that Jesus FELL from heaven. The TRUTH of the whole matter is that Jesus is also called ADAM but that does not make Jesus be the FIRST Adam. The FIRST Adam FELL but the LAST Adam, Jesus, did NOT fall. And, likewise, the FIRST MORNING STAR, Lucifer, FELL but the last BRIGHT and morning star, Jesus, will never fall. The first, morning star, Lucifer, rebelled against Almighty God to make WAR with God to try and take over God’s throne by force. But the last morning star, Jesus, did not even THINK that equality with God was something to be grasped. Philippians 2:6 from the Complete Jerusalem Bible. “Though he was in the form of God, he did NOT regard equality with God something to be possessed by force.” Keep in mind that Jesus ALSO said that he will GIVE to us who OVERCOME the “morning star”. So, obviously, there are TWO DIFFERENT morning stars just like there are TWO Adams being CONTRASTED. Lucifer was the FIRST, morning star, who FELL before God ever created Adam and Eve. And Jesus is the LAST morning star who will REPLACE Lucifer as the King of kings over the earth for 1000 years. Revelation 2:28. “And I will give him the morning star.” Before we get into the context of Isaiah 14:12, let us take a moment to look at some verses with the Strong’s numbers after each translated English word. And then we will look at the meanings of the words “morning”. I want you to see that John, the writer of the book of Revelation chose to use a DIFFERENT Greek word for “morning” when referring to Satan than he did for the word “morning” referring to Jesus. Revelation 2:28. “And G2532 I will give G1325 him G846 the G3588 morning G4407 star. I G1473 am G1510 the G3588 root G4491 and G2532 the G3588 offspring G1085 of David, G1138 and the G3588 bright G2986 and G2532 morning G3720 star. G792 Here is another verse that speaks of Jesus being the morning star. 2 Peter 1:19. “We have G2192 also G2532 a more sure G949 word G3056 of prophecy; G4397 whereunto G3739 ye do G4160 well G2573 that you take heed, G4337 as G5613 unto a light G3088 that shines G5316 in G1722 a dark G850 place, G5117 until G2193 G3757 the day G2250 dawn, G1306 and G2532 the day star G5459 arise G393 in G1722 your G5216 hearts: G2588” We have just seen in Revelation 2:28 that John uses a different Greek word for the morning star that refers to Satan than he used in Revelation 22:16 when referring to Jesus. Let us read those verses again by removing all the Strong’s numbers that we are not looking at in this particular study in God’s word. Also, I want you to notice that Jesus did not simply say that he is the morning star. But rather Jesus said that he is the BRIGHT morning star. After we read the verse we will look at the meanings of the Greek words. Revelation 22:16. “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and bright G2986 and morning G3720 star. G792” G2986 λαμπρός lampros lam-pros' From the same as G2985; radiant; by analogy limpid; figuratively magnificent or sumptuous (in appearance): - bright, clear, gay, goodly, gorgeous, white. Total KJV occurrences: 9 Please notice that Jesus is saying that he is the GOODLY morning star. But Lucifer is the morning star that FELL from heaven. Also, notice the other meanings like limpid, clear, and white. The word white is the opposite of black. The color white in the Bible is symbolic of being PURE. The word clear also bears the meaning of pure and clean. And the word “limpid” means having NO DARKNESS. G3720 ὀρθρινός orthrinos or-thrin-os' From G3722; relating to the dawn, that is, matutinal (as an epithet of Venus, especially brilliant in the early day): - morning. Total KJV occurrences: 1 Now let us look at the verse where Jesus promises to us who overcome that morning star which I personally believe is referring to Satan. In other words, we who overcome will JUDGE the fallen angels at the end of the Millennium. Again, please notice that John used a DIFFERENT Greek word for the word morning in this verse where the morning star does NOT refer to Jesus. Revelation 2:28. “And I will give him the morning G4407 star. G792” G4407 πρωΐνός prōinos pro-ee-nos' From G4404; pertaining to the dawn, that is, matutinal: - morning. Total KJV occurrences: 1 The Greek word for “morning” simply means morning star when referring to Satan. So we see John CONTRASTING Satan with Jesus. In the gospel of John, we see Jesus as being the TRUTH and Satan as having NO truth in him at all. Now let us look at 2 Peter 1:19 where Jesus is referred to as the DAY STAR. And again, please notice all the words that speak of SHINING and MAGNIFICENCE. 2 Peter 1:19. “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a LIGHT G3088 that SHINES G5316 in a dark place until the day G2250 dawn, G1306 and the DAY star G5459 arise G393 in your hearts:” G5459 φωσφόρος phōsphoros foce-for'-os From G5457 and G5342; light bearing (“phosphorus”), that is, (specifically) the morning star (figuratively): - day star. Total KJV occurrences: 1 So BEFORE the FALL of Lucifer, he was a LIGHT BEARER. But AFTER his fall, Lucifer became God’s ENEMY that is making WAR with God. According to revelation 12:7-9, Lucifer is that old Dragon, that serpent called the Devil and Satan. Revelation 12:7-9. “And there was WAR in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the DRAGON; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9. And the GREAT DRAGON (Or the dragon who was ONCE great) was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” So, what do all of the verses of Scripture concerning Satan have to do with Lucifer? How do these verses of Scripture about Satan the Devil, that old serpent PROVE that Lucifer IS Satan? Well, when we read about who Satan is in the New Testament, we can see a lot of parallels between Isaiah chapter 14 and Satan. First, we can see that this proverb in Isaiah chapter 14 was indeed spoken to the human “king” of Babylon. BUT we also know that there are rulers of principalities and powers of the air in heavenly places who are behind the evil workings of the human kings of the earth. And in the book of Revelation, we can see the FALL of the kingdom of Babylon. And right here in Revelation chapter 12, we can see that Satan is called a great dragon, the old serpent, and the Devil who DECEIVES the whole world. And we also see that Satan and his angels will be cast out of heaven down to the earth. And we know from other verses that Satan desires to be WORSHIPED. Satan will exalt himself in the future to be God just like Lucifer did in Isaiah 14:11-14. And Jesus said that whosoever exalts themselves shall be abased. Let us first read the immediate context of Isaiah 14:12 first and then we will read the whole chapter. Isaiah 14:11-14. “Your pomp is brought down to the grave, (Compare Job 41:34 “He beholds all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.”) and the noise of your viols: (Compare with Ezekiel 28:13) the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you. 12. How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! (Compare with Revelation 12:7-10) 13. For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most-High.” Now let us compare like or similar verses of Scripture with Scripture. Here in Isaiah 14:11-14, we see that Lucifer EXALTS himself to be like Almighty God. And in the New Testament, we see that Satan will give his power to a man called the Son of perdition who will do the SAME thing that this proverb says about Lucifer, the king of Babylon. Please read 2 Thessalonians 2:3-9. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4. Who opposes and EXALTS himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5. Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6. And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. (It is Satan who is withholding or hindering the coming or the revealing of Jesus. Please read the in-depth study “THE RAPTURE: WHO IS THE HINDERER?” for all the Scriptures that teach us that the hinderer is NOT the church, or the Holy Spirit as the pre-tribulation doctrine wrongly teaches) 7. FOR (Or BECAUSE) the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. (Or he who hinders will hinder until he is cast out of the midst, referring to Satan being cast out of heaven as the principalities and powers of the air) 8. And THEN shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming: (Speaking of the revealing of Jesus from heaven. In other words, there are TWO revealings being spoken of in 2 Thessalonians chapter1 and chapter 2) 9. Even him, whose COMING is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” Here are some prophecies about the coming son of perdition known as the antichrist. Daniel 11:36. “And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall EXALT himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.” Now, we know that Satan will be destroyed in the lake of fire at the end of the 1000 year reign of Jesus. And thus, the ruling of Satan, the god, and king of this present world system will come to an END. In other words, Satan will be REPLACED by Jesus, who will be crown as the King of kings in the world to come DURING the 1000 year reign of Jesus. And either Jesus himself or another “angel messenger” will bind Satan for 1000 years in the bottomless pit during the Millennial reign of Jesus our King. Isaiah 28:1-3. “Woe to the crown of PRIDE,(Speaking of Satan) to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which is on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! 2. Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, (Speaking of Jesus) which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. 3. The crown of pride, (Speaking of Satan and the fallen angels being cast down out of heaven down to the ground at the beginning of the 3 1/2 years of the GREAT tribulation which is the wrath of SATAN and NOT the WRATH of Almighty God. Satan will know that his time is short as being the god and king of this present world system and his wrath will be great) the drunkards of Ephraim shall be trodden under feet:” Here is yet another prophecy that shows that Lucifer is Satan, the evil spirit king behind EVERY king of Babylon. Please read Ezekiel 28:1-19. “The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2. Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus says the Lord GOD; Because your heart is LIGHTED UP, and you have said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God: (These verses of Scripture are speaking to the prince of the air behind the human earthly prince of Tyrus) 3. Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from you: (Again, speaking of Satan and NOT the human prince of Tyrus. Satan will give riches to those who worship him and who serve him in unrighteous deeds) 4. With your wisdom and with your understanding you have gotten you your riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures: 5. By your great wisdom and by your traffic have you increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches: 6. Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have set your heart as the heart of God; 7. Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers (Or I will bring Aliens) upon you, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness. (Now, please understand that I am NOT saying that God will bring “real” aliens like the world picture aliens on TV. But rather, the strangers will be Jesus, and his ARMY of angels who will fight against the army of Satan's angels, The war in Revelation, to me, will begin slowly, perhaps starting as soon as a hundred years before Jesus actually returns and little by little people will see more and more UFOs that are actually the angels, both good and fallen fighting each other. You see, Jesus does not have to leave heaven for Micheal, the Archangel, and the angels under Michael to fight against Satan and his fallen angels. In fact, the good angels have been fighting Satan and the fallen angels before Jesus ever came into existence. For you see, even in Old Testament times as we can clearly see in Daniel 10:1-13 that Michael came to help another angel get through the armies of Satan and his angel to bring a message to Daniel that was sent the very first day that Daniel prayed but it took 21 days of warring for the angel to get through past Satan and his angels. Please understand that all I am trying to do is to prepare Christians for the great DECEPTION in 2 Thessalonians that is coming upon the whole world right before the second coming of Jesus. and one very POSSIBLE deception that could cause apostasy even among Christians is for us to see the second coming of Jesus APPEARING as IF it is an alien invasion for outer space. I know that this may sound far-fetched to some of you that are hearing this for the first time, but please consider the words of Jesus. In Luke 17:32-37, Jesus said that those at his COMING who seek to save their [mortal] life will lose their [eternal] life. And o me, this means that when Christians SEE the things that are coming upon the earth then we are to LOOK UP knowing that our redemption draws near. But if we FEAR the things that are coming upon the earth to run and hide to SAVE our mortal life then we will LOSE our eternal life. Jesus said OCCUPY until he comes and he also asked the question Shall I find FAITH on the earth when I come? So there is coming a time when even the very elect Christians will THING NOT that Jesus will come to deliver them from the FEARFUL things that are coming upon the earth. And IF what I am seeing is right and the world is being CONDITIONED by TV shows like Ancient Aliens that God is really just and ALIEN. And if Satan convinces the world and even some Christians that there is an alien invasion coming very soon, then when Jesus returns, then to THEM who are DECEIVED by this great deception that is prophesied to come, it will APPEAR that the second coming of Jesus with his ARMIES from heaven are aliens trying to take over the earth. Keep in mind that the pronoun you is PROPHETICALLY referring to Satan and his fallen angels that God will send STRANGERS upon that to the world could very well appear as ALIENS in UFOs. Please read the study “WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT UFOs?” ) 8. They shall bring you down to the pit, and you shall die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. (The word “sea” is sometimes used as symbolism for the wicked) 9. Will you yet say before him (Jesus) that slays you (Satan), I am God? But you SHALL be a man, (Or you shall be MORTAL like a man) and no God, in the hand of him that slays you. (Obviously, the human prince of Tyrus is ALREADY and a mortal man) 10. You shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: (Aliens) for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD. 11. Moreover, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12. Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, (Now the KING of Tyrus is speaking specifically to the evil spirit king, the mystery of iniquity, the god of this present world system, Satan the Devil) Thus says the Lord GOD; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13. You have been in Eden the garden of God; (Speaking of the old SERPENT, the great dragon called Satan the Devil) every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (Speaking of BEFORE the rebellion of Lucifer to make war with God to try and EXALT the throne that God gave to him to be above the clouds) 14. You are the ANOINTED cherub that covers; and I have SET you so: you WERE upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15. You WERE perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, UNTIL iniquity was found in you. (Or until you were lighted up by your own pride to exalt yourself above the place that I set you to rule over) 16. By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore, I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: (So the first LEVEL of the FALL of Lucifer the anointed cherub was his banishment to enter into the city of Almighty God. That was the first fall which will be followed by TWO more falls and then his final destruction in the lake of fire. Lucifer’s or Satan’s second level of fall occurred at the CROSS. And his third fall will occur at the beginning of the 3 1/2 years of GREAT tribulation when Satan and his fallen angels will be cast down from the first heaven as being the principalities of the air. They will no longer be able to HINDER the PRAYERS of the saints and the moment we pray our prayers will be answered. We will prophesy and what the Holy Spirit leads us to prophesy will come to pass before our eyes and the enemies of God will hate us for the plagues that we will bring upon them during the time of the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation) and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17. Your heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you. 18. You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore, will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you. 19. All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and NEVER shall you be any more.” Now let us read the CONTEXT of Isaiah 14:12 to see all the parallels between Lucifer and Satan. Keep in mind all of what we have already learned in this study thus far. Keep in mind that the prophecy of yet future events is hidden within the historical accounts. Please read Isaiah 14:1-16. “For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob. (This is speaking of the second coming of Jesus and the world to come, the 1000 year reign of Jesus) 2. And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors. (This is speaking of DURING the Millennial age of Jesus where Israel will be over those left alive of the nations after the wrath of God will be poured out by Jesus at his coming) 3. And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give you REST from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage wherein you were made to serve, (Again, speaking of the REMNANT of the children of Israel left alive after the great tribulation and the wrath of God who will be at peace and have REST DURING the 1000 year reign of Jesus) 4. That YOU (The children of Israel at the END of the Millennium) shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How has the oppressor ceased! the GOLDEN CITY ceased! (Compare with Revelation) 5. The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers. (Keep in mind the MYSTERY of iniquity that works BEHIND the human rulers of the earth. It is Satan who will give his power to the human king of mystery Babylon the great at the end of days right before the coming of Jesus) 6. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders. (Or the hinderer is cast down out of the midst of heaven and there is none to hinder us anymore) 7. The whole earth is at REST, and is QUIET: they break forth into singing. (Again, speaking of during the 1000 year reign of Jesus. There will be no more wars DURING the Millennial reign of Jesus) 8. Yea, the fir trees rejoice at you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you are laid down, no feller is come up against us. (Or from the time that you are cast down into the bottomless pit there has been no one has come to fight and war against us) 9. Hell from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs up the dead for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 10. All they shall speak and say unto you, (O Lucifer, son of the morning, you, king of Babylon, that GOLDEN CITY) Are you also become weak as we? are you become like unto us? 11. Your POMP is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under your, and the worms cover you. 12. How are YOU fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How are YOU cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! 13. For YOU have said in YOUR heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will EXALT my throne above the STARS of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: (Now, mere simple common sense teaches us that no human king of Babylon thousands of years ago would have ever said that he will ascend into heaven to exalt his throne above the angels of God to be like Almighty God.) 14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most-High. 15. Yet YOU shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16. They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;” Now, the whole CONTEXT of verse 12 is PROPHECY about Satan being cast down from his throne to no longer be the OPPRESSOR. Lucifer was once an ANOINTED Cherub whom Almighty God SET as a ruler over the earth BEFORE God ever created Adam and Eve. And during that AGE between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, Lucifer was lifted up with pride and said in his heart that he would exalt his throne above the CLOUDS. In other words, the ANGELIC being named Lucifer deceived one-third of the other angelic beings to make WAR with Almighty God to try and take over God’s throne. And when Almighty God was about to destroy Lucifer and the angels who sided with Lucifer then Lucifer charged or falsely accused God of creating him defective. And thus it was God’s fault that he made war with God. So God said, let us make man in our image. BUT let us make the man or the humans a little LOWER than you angelic beings. Let us see if an INFERIOR species of beings that I will create will live before me in obedience because I created you PERFECT in the day that I created you Lucifer. And when I clear my name to prove to all my faithful angels that I did NOT create you flawed then I will be JUST to destroy you and all the angels who followed after you. Please read the studies “UNDERSTANDING WHY?”, “WHO IS LUCIFER-IS SATAN LUCIFER?”, “THE WAR IN HEAVEN-REVELATION 12!”, and “WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT UFOs?” But for now, let us look at some verses of Scripture that teach us that God will REPLACE Lucifer with his Son Jesus to be the ruler over the earth in the world to come. Please read Ezekiel 21:21-27. “For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. 22. At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort. 23. And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken. 24. Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that you are come to remembrance, you shall be taken with the hand. 25. And you, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, 26. Thus says the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. 27. I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.” Satan’s rule will come to an END and Lucifer will be REPLACED by Jesus to inherit the earth as his kingdom to rule FOR Yahweh for 1000 years. Daniel 5:18-20. “O you king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honor: 19. And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down. 20. But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:” Obadiah 1:3,4. “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you that dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that say in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? 4. Though you exalt yourself as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, thence (Or from there among the stars) will I bring you down, says the LORD.” Psalm 75:1-10. “To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. Unto you, O God, do we give thanks, unto you do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare. (Speaking of Jesus as being the NAME of Yahweh and the WORK of Yahweh who will RECEIVE the kingdom of Yahweh to rule FOR Yahweh during his seventh 1000 year long day of Sabbath REST during the Millennial reign of Jesus) 2. When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. 3. The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. (Or pause and meditate on this. Compare Revelation) 4. I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: 5. Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. 6. For PROMOTION comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7. But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another. (Or Almighty God REMOVES one king who has CORRUPTED HIMSELF and sets up another king who will rule RIGHTLY or in righteousness) 8. For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he pours out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them. 9. But I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. 10. All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.” Here are some more parallels or rather CONTRASTS between Satan and Jesus. Jesus is a prince and Satan is a prince. Here are the verses that refer to Satan as a prince; Mark 3:22,23; Ezekiel 28:2; Daniel 8:9-11; Ezekiel 30:13; Daniel 9:24-27. And here are the verses that refer to Jesus as the Prince who has already REPLACED Lucifer for us who BELIEVE in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. (Daniel 9:26-27; Ezekiel 37:24,25; John 12:31; John 14:30; John 16:11; Luke 10:18.19; Ephesians 2:2; and Revelation 12:1-1; and Revelation 1:5) And here are some verses where the FALLEN morning star, Lucifer, God’s enemy Satan will be given to us who overcome Satan. Or more specifically the verses prophesying the FALL of Babylon and the saints will be given the honor to execute vengeance upon the great city Babylon DOUBLE what she did to God's people the Christians and the Jews. Jeremiah 51:6-9. “Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense. 7. Babylon has been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. (In other words, by allowing Satan, the king of Babylon to have some ROPE so to speak, Yahweh knew that Lucifer would eventually HANG himself or CONVICT himself as being the CAUSE of his OWN sinful NATURE) 8. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed. (This is speaking of the FIRST HALF of God’s wrath BEFORE the 1000 year reign of Jesus) 9. WE (Speaking of Almighty God the Father and his now highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus, whom Yahweh has made the King of kings over the earth during the Millennial kingdom of Jesus) would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: (Speaking of during the Millennium SOME of the nations will be saved but many of the nations will be deceived by Satan at the END of the Millennium when he will be let loose out of the bottomless pit) forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reaches unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.” Isaiah 21:9,10. “And, behold, here comes a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he has broken unto the ground. 10. O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.” Revelation 14:8. “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Revelation 18:1-24. “And after these things I saw another angel (Or messenger and not necessarily an angelic being) come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. (This is speaking of the RAPTURE of the church which will take place AT the second coming of Jesus) 5. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (This is speaking of the SAINTS being given the honor to help Jesus execute the VENGEANCE and WRATH of God upon the wicked) 7. How much she has glorified herself and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she said in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8. Therefore, shall her plagues come in one day, (Speaking of the 1000 year long day of Yahweh where God’s WRATH will START right before the 1000 year reign of Jesus actually begins but it will be LIFTED lest all of God’s people, Isreal, be destroy and no remnant be left alive. That will be the first HALF-HOUR of God’s wrath. And at the END of that 1000 tear long DAY, as in, 1000 years later after the coming of Jesus, God will pour out the second HALF-HOUR of His wrath upon Babylon who will TRY to rise again when Satan is allowed to DECEIVE the nations one final time which will SEAL his fate) death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her. 9. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10. Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in ONE HOUR is thy judgment come. (One DAY and also ONE HOUR seems to be a contradiction until you learn that God’s wrath will be divided into two parts. See Revelation 8:1 for the first HALF hour of God’s wrath which will be the seventh seal, the seventh trumpet, and the seventh vial. While the first six seals, the first six trumpets, and the first six vials will be the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation and in between the six and the seventh will be the rapture of the church) 11. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more: 12. The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13. And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14. And the fruits that your soul lusted after are departed from you, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from you, and you shall find them no more at all. (Because all the treasures of the UNJUST are laid up for the JUST and Jesus will give the riches of the rich to the POOR who has suffered at the hands of the rich in this present world) 15. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16. And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17. For in one hour so great riches has come to naught. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea stood afar off, 18. And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19. And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20. Rejoice over her, you heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her. 21. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in you; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in you; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in you; 23. And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived. 24. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” In other words, YOU O Lucifer are the CAUSE of ALL the wickedness and evil in the world. And, therefore, I, Almighty God, Yahweh, am just and righteous to DESTROY you and all the fallen angels that you deceived along with the humans that you deceived in the lake of fire to put an END to evil once and for all.
