U-11. Is JESUS YAHWEH HIMSELF? Part 4

Part 4 of the FIVE-PART study on is Jesus YAHWEH?

Here in part 4, we will cover some of the Trinitarian arguments that are used to try and prove that Jesus pre-existed as God the Son in the eternity past. Again, we will take small bites of each argument at a time. The emphasis in the Trinitarian quotes is mine.

Old Testament Parallels Prove Jesus Is God

A comparison of the Old and New Testaments provide powerful testimony to Jesus’s identity as God. For example, a study of the Old Testament indicates that it is only God who saves. In Isaiah 43:11, God asserts: “I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me, there is no savior.” This verse indicates that (1) a claim to be Savior is, in itself, a claim to deity; and (2) there is only one Savior—the Lord God. It is thus highly revealing of Christ’s divine nature that the New Testament refers to Jesus as “our great God and Savior” (Titus 2:13).

Jesus is called our savior by TITLE because it was Yahweh HIMSELF who CHOSE His human SON to be the MEANS by which Yahweh HIMSELF would save mankind. By one MAN sin entered into the world so God Himself chose that the redemption of mankind MUST be by ONE MAN as well. This is WHY to ME I myself see Jesus as being FULLY and truly a HUMAN being whom his God and Father ANOINTED or came to DWELL IN to GIVE his Son POWER from on high. This is what the word “SENT” means in the literal original text, which is correctly translated as COMMISSION. Jesus was GIVEN everything he needed to accomplish the task or the WILL of his God and Father Yahweh. But WHY did God NEED a MAN to save mankind? Please read the study  “UNDERSTANDING WHY?” for the answer to that question. For now, Yahweh is the ONLY Savior who used a MAN, his SON Jesus as the MEANS BY which he himself CHOSE to save mankind.

An analogy of this would be a lifeguard on the beach seeing a drowning swimmer and throws him a life preserver tied to a rope and pulls the drowning swimmer to shore saving his life. The lifeguard is the actual savior, which represents Yahweh, who chose to use the life preserver as the MEANS by which he chose to save the drowning person. Yahweh could have chosen any other means he desired, but it was his SON that was his choice by which he himself would save mankind. The life ring preserver tied to the rope represents Jesus. If the swimmer does not believe and trust in the life ring given to him then he will drown. If the drowning person lets go of the life ring or Jesus before he reaches shore he will drown or die and thus not be saved. This lifeguard will never leave the drowning swimmer and keep throwing the life ring back until either the swimmer is saved from drowning and by analogy he is saved or he drowns and by analogy he is lost.

Also, please keep in mind the REST of God's word, when INTERPRETING verses in the Bible. All through the Bible, we see TWO being spoken of, Yahweh the Father, and His SON. So why then would Titus 2:13 be any different? Why force this verse to be referring to ONE being, when the rest of God's word almost always speaks of TWO, the Father, AND his SON? Let us read this verse in CONTEXT being ALONE and APART for the REST of God's word FIRST, and then we will closely examine the TRUE meaning of this passage of Scripture when it is correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God.

Please read Titus 2:10-15.

“Not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine (Or the TEACHING) of God our Savior in all things.

11.  For the GRACE OF God that brings salvation has APPEARED to all men,

12.  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13.  Looking for that blessed hope, AND the glorious appearing of the great God AND our Savior Jesus Christ;

14.  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works

15.  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.”

As I have said many times any verse when viewed ALONE and APART from the REST of God's word may SEEM to be made to SEEM that it is saying something that it is NOT TRULY saying when it is CORRECTLY interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God. 

In other words, the dogmatic Trinitarian INTERPRETATION of this verse means to them, without fail, that Jesus IS the GREAT God, Yahweh Himself and that it cannot possibly mean anything else. And to me, their interpretation is READ INTO this verse, and thus, FORCING it to say what the Trinity teachers desire it to say in order to try and prove their OWN man-made doctrine of the Trinity And the Oneness Pentecostal Christians do the same thing to try and prove their doctrine that Jesus is Yahweh Himself in the flesh. Now, this Trinitarian article that we are examining in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God is trying to prove the Trinity doctrine, but Oneness believers use many of the same verses as well to try and prove their man-made doctrine of oneness which is that Jesus is the Father and the Father is the SON and that Jesus is NOT a separate person from the Father.

So what do I mean by reading into a verse a preconceived interpretation and that the meaning is FORCED upon that verse? This means that any INTERPRETATION that one concludes MUST without fail AGREE with the REST of God's word and if it does NOT agree, but CONTRADICTS other parts of God's word, then that INTERPRETATION was FORCED upon that verse dogmatically demanding that it is the ONLY thing that that verse can mean.

Here in Titus 2:10, the PRECONCEIVED mindset of those, who teach that doctrine of the Trinity and or the Oneness doctrine is to read all Scriptures through eyes FOCUSED on ONLY seeing Jesus as Yahweh Himself, as opposed to seeing Jesus as God's SON, whom Yahweh has ANOINTED. The WHOLE word of God teaches us the DOCTRINE of CHRIST or the teaching of the ANOINTING coming down out of heaven to DWELL IN MAN beginning with the Son of MAN, Jesus at his baptism. Both Trinitarian and Oneness believers INTERPRET the conjunction “AND” that is between our GREAT God AND Savior Jesus ANOINTED to dogmatically demand that it means Jesus IS Yahweh our great God because only Yahweh is said to be our savior in the Old Testament. 

In other words, their logic is backward saying that since Jesus is our Savior and only our GREAT God is said to be our Savior in the Old Testament, then Jesus must, therefore, be our Savior AND of GREAT God and therefore must be Yahweh HIMSELF because ONLY Yahweh is known as the GREAT God.

Now again, one would expect this kind of INTERPRETATION by the ONENESS believers, who teach that Jesus IS the FATHER and the Father IS the SON. But from Christians, who truly understand that the WHOLE word of God clearly and plainly teaches us that Jesus is NOT the Father I myself find it strange that Trinitarians keep trying to FORCE Jesus to be Yahweh HIMSELF in the flesh being FULLY God and fully a man at the SAME time having TWO natures one DIVINE and one human. As we have already learned in this study of God's word the Bible ITSELF always clearly identifies THE ONE God as being the FATHER and our ONE Lord as being Jesus the ANOINTED one, who was anointed BY his God and Father Yahweh.

Therefore, the mindset of ALL Christians SHOULD be geared toward HARMONIZING the Scriptures to AGREE with the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God that clearly teaches us that Jesus is God's SON, whom He Himself ANOINTED with His very own self same Holy Spirit to EMPOWER His SON to do the TASK that his God and Father sent or COMMISSIONED His HUMAN SON to do. And as his REWARD God set a JOY before His human SON Jesus that if he would do ALL the WILL of his God and Father even to suffer and die a brutal and shameful death of the cross, then the Father would HIGHLY EXALT His human SON to become His divine eternal Son. And another part of that joy set before Jesus to endure the cross is that God also promised to GIVE him a NAME that is above every other name EXCEPT Yahweh Himself so that all would bend their knee and worship him TO the GLORY of the FATHER Yahweh. We will come back to this verse in a moment because I want to finish one point at a time.

So then, in order to CORRECTLY interpret the TRUE meaning of this word “AND” here in Titus 2:13, we must have NO CONTRADICTIONS with any other part of God's word. This is why I myself along with many other Christians as well teach others that the “AND” here means ANOTHER PERSON or being in conjunction WITH Jesus meaning that TWO are being spoken of in this verse and NOT just ONE being or person being two THINGS; Savior, and our great God.

So then, the TWO who are being spoken of in this verse are the GREAT God Yahweh, the Father, AND His SON Jesus the ANOINTED, whom our great God Yahweh USED as the MEANS by which Yahweh Himself CHOSE to use to save, whosoever of mankind that makes the choice to believe on God's SON Jesus. Let us read a wider CONTEXT by the same author of Titus. 

Please read Titus 1:1-4.

“Paul, a servant OF God, AND an apostle OF Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 

2.  In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; 

3.  But has in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment OF God our Savior; (Now, I myself INTERPRET God our Savior here to be speaking of Yahweh the Father but it could also be interpreted a God or Savior Jesus the Christ AFTER being highly exalted to become a lesser God under Yahweh his God and Father. But in the light of the whole word of God we know that Yahweh is the one who did the WORK of salvation by PROVIDING us His anointed human SON Jesus, who the OBEYED his God and Father WILL resisting his OWN will. Either way one chooses to interpret verse 3, they must also be CONSISTENT to INTERPRET the meaning of verse 4 as well to be in agreement with how they interpret verse 3)

4.  To Titus, my own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, FROM (Our great) God the Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.”

Now, no Trinitarian Christian would ever INTERPRET the conjunction “AND” here to mean that Jesus is BOTH our Savior AND God the FATHER. Keep in mind that this is the SAME book and the SAME author calling the Lord Jesus Christ our SAVIOR being CONNECTED TO our GREAT God in Titus 2:13 by the conjunction “AND”. And again, NON-Trinitarian Christians understand all the verses of Scripture with Jesus and the Father connected with the conjunction “AND” to be two separate persons, Yahweh the FATHER, and His Son Jesus. Can you not see that there are TWO persons or beings that are being spoken of rather than ONE person being BOTH Jesus our Savior AND God the FATHER? Every Trinitarian Christian I know would never interpret verse 4 as Jesus and the father being one and the same person. So then, WHY would the INTENT of the SAME author of Titus 1:4 suddenly CHANGE from Jesus and the Father being two separate persons to now mean just ONE person or being in Titus 2:13? Obviously, the Apostle Paul does NOT change what he was taught by Jesus, but rather, it is the wrong INTERPRETATION being read into the Scriptures that is NOT being consistent throughout the whole word of God. And thus, both the Trinitarian and Oneness INTERPRETATION of Titus 2:13 is forcing Jesus to be Yahweh Himself, our great God.

For more Scripture that clearly teaches us that Jesus is NOT ALMIGHTY God the Father please read the study “IS JESUS ALMIGHTY GOD?”  But for now, let us move on to the next argument that Jesus is Almighty God Yahweh in the flesh being fully God and fully man at the same time having TWO natures one divine and one human.

Clearly, to all with eyes to see Titus 2:13 does NOT prove that Jesus is Yahweh Himself who alone is the Father and the god OF His Son Jesus. Most definitely Jesus is God, as in, a God under Yahweh and BOTH are great Gods, but considering the WHOLE word of God and the entire CONTEXT of the book of Titus our great God should be understood as referring to Yahweh the FATHER and NOT to Jesus our Savior.

Now let us take a closer look at Philippians 2:10,11, where at the NEW name of JESUS every knee shall bow and every tongue confess being compared with Isaiah 45:23, where Almighty God Yahweh says, that TO ME every knee shall bow. And thus, Trinitarians wrongly conclude that Jesus MUST, therefore, BE Yahweh HIMSELF because ONLY Yahweh can receive worship.

First of all, let us read Philippians 2:10 in its CONTEXT to see what this verse is actually saying to us and then, we will read Isaiah 45:23 in its CONTEXT to learn what it is actually teaching us in TRUTH.

Philippians 2:5-11.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 

6.  Who, being in the FORM of God (The word translated as “form” here comes from the Greek root word “meres” Strong's #3313 which means of a sort as being part of the whole. It also mean ADJUSTING or changing. This agrees with God's living spoken LOGOS coming out from God's mouth and the spoken word of prophecy that brought forth into existence God's Son Jesus. Again, the Greek word “morphe” also means the ADJUSTMENT of the parts. In other words, WHILE Yahweh the Father was in the processes of FORMING the IMAGE in His mind and thoughts as to the END result of what God desired His yet future Son and Savior to be like, God kept changing or adjusting that FORM or that IMAGE in His mind until it was exactly as He desired. Think about a chess player adjusting every possible outcome of a move he is about to make so that he is sure of making the right move. In somewhat that same way, God adjusted the END from the beginning so that He would be sure that His name will be cleared on the final Day of Judgment at the end of the 1000 year reign of Jesus. In other words, God desired His yet future Son to NOT be like Lucifer who thought to grasp at equality with God by FORCE. Also, the Greek word translated as BEING IN the form of God literally means that Jesus CAME INTO being in the form of God AFTER the cross. So then, Jesus coming into being in the form of God by being highly exalted after the cross) thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (Jesus knew from the Scriptures that his ORIGIN was from above and that his Father was Yahweh Himself. Jesus knew that he was NOT conceived in the womb of his human mother by an earthly father. Jesus knew that he was UNIQUELY begotten by his God and Father, and Jesus was GIVEN all power and authority after the cross. But yet Jesus did NOT seek to take by force any equality with his God and Father as Lucifer did. Jesus said that he came forth OUT FROM God knowing that God's SPOKEN word brought him into existence. Jesus also knew from the Scriptures and the JOY set before him to endure the cross that he would be highly exalted to rule as God for Yahweh in Yahweh’s name in the world to come)

7.  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (Many other translations correctly state that this form of God, which we know is the LOGOS of God, which is alive and QUICKENS or makes alive was STRIPPED of all of its DIVINE NATURE to take on HUMAN nature. And this agrees with John 1:14 where the LOGOS, the SPOKEN word of God’s prophecy, was MADE flesh and NOT that the word was made a God/man having two natures, one divine and one human during the days of his FLESH. Also, please know and understand that the words “AND WAS” in the phrase “and was made in the likeness of men” is not in the original text. Plus, that the Greek word “AND” in verse 8 also means MOREOVER. So to me, the last phrase of verse 7 should be placed as the first part of verse 8 to read “MOREOVER, being made in the likeness of men found in fashion as a MAN, he humbled himself...” I will show you what I mean after you read verse 8)

8.  And being found in fashion as a MAN, (Meaning 100% a human being with ZERO percent of divine nature) he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Obedient to WHO? Jesus became obedient to HIS God and Father Yahweh. Now, let us read verses 6-8 in the way that I believe the Apostle Paul intended them to read. I will paraphrase the literal meanings of the Greek words into the text and with the last phrase of verse 7 at the beginning of verse 8. Remember that it was the translators who added the verse numbers. “6. Who came into being in the form of God did not ever thing to grasp at equality with God by force. 7. But on the contrary, he made himself of no reputation or he humbled himself to take on the form of a servant. 8. MOREOVER, being found in the fashion of a MAN made in the likeness of men, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross.”) 

9.  WHEREFORE (Or for this VERY REASON Jesus the SON OF God becoming OBEDIENT to do all his God and Father's WILL even to suffer and die on the cross so that whosoever will BELIEVE on Jesus should not perish, but be given eternal life) God also has HIGHLY EXALTED him, (The MAN Jesus the CHRIST) AND (Also has) GIVEN him a NAME which is above every name: 

10.  THAT (Or SO THAT) at the NAME OF Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 

11.  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, TO the GLORY OF God the FATHER.”

Jesus was given a NEW NAME after the cross. And the REASON for why Yahweh GAVE His human Son a new name that is higher than every other name is so we HONOR Jesus even as we honor the Father. Every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord TO the glory OF Yahweh the Father.

Now let us read the entire CONTEXT of Isaiah 45:23 and you will see that it agrees perfectly with Philippians 2:10,11 where AT the NAME of Jesus will every knee bow and confess that Jesus is Lord TO the GLORY of Yahweh, which God the Father GAVE to His human SON Jesus to BECOME HIGHLY EXALTED only AFTER His human Son OVERCAME the enemy for Yahweh's NAME'S sake.

Please read Isaiah 45:1-6, then skip down to Isaiah 45:21.

“Thus says the LORD TO his ANOINTED, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, (This is a PROPHECY of God's yet coming SON, whom Yahweh SURNAME or GIVE to his SON his very OWN NAME. The name JESUS means Yahweh saves or the Salvation OF Yahweh, which is why Yahweh says of himself that he is the ONLY Savior) and I will loosen the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; 

2.  I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 

3.  And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that YOU (My SON) may KNOW that I, the LORD, which call YOU by YOUR NAME, am the God of Israel. 

4.  For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called YOU by YOUR NAME: I have SURNAMED YOU, though YOU have NOT KNOWN ME. 

5.  I am the LORD, and there is NONE else, there is NO God beside me: I girded YOU, though YOU have NOT KNOWN ME: 

6.  THAT (Or SO THAT) they may know (Speaking of ALL of mankind may KNOW) from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is NONE beside me. (Or there is none APART or WITHOUT me) I am the LORD, and there is NONE else…

...21.  Tell you, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me.”

Here we see that the SON OF God did NOT always KNOW that Yahweh was his FATHER. God REVEALED this TRUTH to his SON through his written WORD, the Holy Scriptures. Remember that we have already learned that Yahweh TAUGHT his SON Jesus morning by morning and GAVE him an ear to HEAR and the tongue of the learned. 

The word “SURNAME” here means to EULOGIZE, to extol, to praise highly, to lift, or to HIGHLY EXALT. To SURNAME also means to give one's OWN NAME to another usually as a family name, which can be both the last name and the first name. Some fathers name their son AFTER themselves giving them their exact SAME NAME and the only way you can distinguish the NAME is to know BOTH the father and his son where the father is called “SENIOR and the son is called JUNIOR”. In other words, God gave his SON Jesus his OWN NAME having ALL the AUTHORITY of Yahweh HIMSELF behind the NAME of Jesus. This AGREES with Philippians where God the Father HIGHLY EXALTED the NAME of Jesus so AT the NAME of Jesus every knee will bow and confess that Jesus is Lord TO the GLORY of God the Father Yahweh. Now let us read Isaiah 45:1-25 to understand the true sound Biblical meaning of Isaiah 45:21 “NO Savior BESIDE me”.

Isaiah chapter 45:1-25.

“Thus says the LORD TO His ANOINTED, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; (Here we see Yahweh talking TO His ANOINTED King Cyrus to reassures him that his God is with him which agrees with the prophecies of Jesus in Isaiah 41:13 and Isaiah 42:6) and I will loosen the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; 

2.  I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:  

3.  And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, (The treasures of the unjust are laid up for the just in the world to come) that you may know that I, the LORD, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel. (The verb “am” is not in the original text. The LITERAL translation reads “I Yahweh, the one calling in NAME of YOU the God of Israel”. Yahweh is prophesying TO His ANOINTED Shepherd calling his NAME the God of Israel)

4.  For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me. (To me, this verse proves that Jesus did not literally pre-exist in eternity past because Jesus did not know Yahweh. Jesus was TAUGHT the Scriptures morning by morning as the Yahweh visited him through through the Holy Spirit, according to Isaiah 50:4-6 and Hebrews 2:6)

5.  I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though you have not known me: (This verse LITERALLY means that there are NO FURTHER Elohim except me, I am girding you though you have not known me. Remember and be aware of the fact that Lucifer and ONE-THIRD of the Elohim rebelled and made war against Yahweh. So Almighty God is in the process of dethroning Satan and PROMOTING another to take the place of Lucifer as the God of the whole earth)

6.  That they may know (Speaking of the fallen Elohim) from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. (The phrase “none beside me” means that there will be no God APART FROM and without Yahweh and therefore the fallen Elohim will be NO FURTHER)

7.  I form the light, and create darkness: (Or more precisely, I Yahweh FORM the LIGHT Speaking of Messiah Jesus and I Yahweh CUT DOWN darkness speaking of Lucifer and the fallen angels) I make peace, and create evil: (Or I Yahweh make PEACE or I bring WAR to an END for all eternity future, and I Yahweh CUT DOWN and destroy EVIL for all eternity) I the LORD do all these things. 

8.  Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: (Speaking of the second coming of Jesus with all his saints and his army of angels to execute the WRATH of Yahweh) let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. (Yahweh begat, formed and created Jesus FROM the womb to be the salvation of whosoever believes in the Son of the living God as the atonement for their sins)

9.  Woe unto him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, What make you? Or your work, He has no hands? (Remember the prophecy in Jeremiah 1:5,6 saying I can not speak I am just a CHILD and Yahweh says do not say you are a child, I am sending you and you are to speak the words that I will instruct you to speak. I believe that Yahweh is speaking TO His shepherd Jesus in these verses when Jesus was a child)

10.  Woe unto him that says unto his father, What beget you? Or to the woman, What have you brought forth? (I can see Jesus as a child when he first found out that Joseph was not his biological father and Yahweh is comforting him and at the same time teaching Jesus as a child to NOT strive with his Maker)

11.  Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, (Or thus says Yahweh [TO] the Holy One of Israel, the one making of him) Ask me of things to come concerning my sons and concerning the work of my hands, you command me. 

12.  I have made the earth, and created man upon it: (Or I Yahweh have made the earth and I have created a HUMAN upon it or I have created a MAN upon it) I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. 

13.  I have raised him up in righteousness, (Speaking of the MAN that Yahweh created upon the earth to BE the God of Israel to rule FOR Yahweh for 1000 years in the world to come) and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, says the LORD of hosts. 

14.  Thus says the LORD, The labor of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto you, and they shall be yours: they shall come after you; in chains, they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto you, they shall make supplication unto you, saying, Surely God is IN you, and there is none else, there is no God. (Or surely EL is IN YOU My Messiah Jesus whom I have SET to be God of Israel and NO FURTHER the Elohim fallen gods no more)

15.  Verily (Or TRULY) you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior. (To me, this verse could be interpreted as Jesus being a HUMBLE God as opposed to Lucifer being a BOASTFUL God and Yahweh is well pleased with His workmanship of raising up a righteous God. Or the first half of the verse could be interpreted as the “invisible hidden” Yahweh and the last half of verse 15 as being Jesus the Savior and the God of Israel that Yahweh made Lord and Savior)

16.  They (Speaking of the FALLEN Elohim, Lucifer, and the fallen angels) shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols. (Speaking of the devils causing or deceiving humans to make idols to the devils)

17.  But Israel shall be saved IN the LORD with an everlasting salvation: (When a person is saved IN Jesus they are ALSO IN Yahweh the Father as well) you shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. 

18.  For thus says the LORD that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He has established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD, and there is none else. (Yahweh is one God in ONE PERSON and Yahweh ALONE created the universe and there was no other being with Yahweh in eternity past. But to me, this verse was intended to be speaking of the RE-CREATION of the earth in view of the following verses. So again, Yahweh in one person restored the earth alone and by Himself)

19.  I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said NOT unto the seed of Jacob, Seek you me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. 

20.  Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image and prays unto a god that cannot save. 

21.  Tell you, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me. (This verse is saying that Yahweh Himself has DONE all of this. We KNOW that there IS a God beside Yahweh after the cross so this verse is saying I Yahweh have prophesied this from the foundation of the earth and APART FROM me there is no God WITHOUT me. Philippians 2:8-11 teaches us that Yahweh gave Jesus a NAME and every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord TO the GLORY of Almighty God Yahweh the Father)

22.  Look unto me, (Or look unto him the Savior I raised up for you) and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 

23.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. 

24.  Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. 

25.  In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.” 

Yahweh glorified the Son of MAN, Jesus, and in the world yet to come the NOW eternal Son of God will bring GLORY to his God and Father Yahweh. It was Yahweh Himself who raised up His SAVIOR, Messiah Jesus to bring Yahweh GLORY but yet both Oneness Christians and Trinitarian Christians use Isaiah to try and force Jesus to be Yahweh Himself.

Let us move on to the nest point trying to prove that Jesus is Yahweh himself.

Likewise, God asserted in Isaiah 44:24: “I am the Lord, who makes all things, who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself” (emphasis added). The fact that God alone “makes all things” (Isaiah 44:24)—and the accompanying fact that Christ is claimed to be the Creator of “all things” (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2)—proves that Christ is truly God.

It is not that Jesus CLAIMED to be the creator, but rather, it is the INCORRECT INTERPRETATION of these verses of Scripture that make the CLAIM that Jesus is the creator. Trinitarian Christians ALSO use Proverbs 8:22-31 to try and prove that Jesus literally pre-existed. But if you read that passage of Scripture closely you will see that IF Jesus literally pre-existed then Jesus did not lift one finger to create anything. IF Jesus literally pre-existed then all he did was WATCH His God and Father create the earth. In truth, Yahweh restored the earth to be inhabitable once again having His yet future Son in mind. Please read the study “WHAT DOES PROVERBS 8:22-31 TRULY MEAN?”

Again, we have already covered all of these verses and if you need a more IN-DEPTH study on this subject as to WHO is the ONE creator please read the study “EPHESIANS 3:9-11 DID JESUS CREATE ALL THINGS?”. If you remember Yahweh created all things FOR or FOR the SAKE OF his SON Jesus and that there are TWO creations in the Bible. The second creation is made possible BECAUSE OF Jesus where Jesus is the BEGINNING OF this second NEW creation as being the FIRSTBORN from the dead. In other words, Jesus is the FIRST human being to ever be raised from the dead and be GIVEN to BE HAVING the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY in himself even as his God and Father Yahweh has always possessed self-existing immortality in himself. Jesus is the FIRST born among many brethren meaning that we, who BELIEVE on Jesus unto the end as being the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one OF God, who suffered and died for our sins, are given the promise to become PARTAKERS of this divine nature of IMMORTALITY as well. 

Please read 2 Peter 1-17.

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God AND our Savior Jesus Christ: (Again, the AND here in this verse can be INTERPRETED to dogmatically mean that our Savior Jesus the ANOINTED one is one and the self-same being Yahweh the ONLY TRUE God. And that “interpretation” FORCES this verse to mean that Jesus, the SON OF God, whom God Himself MADE to be BOTH Lord and CHRIST is Yahweh HIMSELF. But yet, clearly, other parts of God's word teach us in simplicity that God is NOT a MAN. So then, the AND here is speaking of TWO distinctly SEPARATE persons or beings, who are Yahweh the FATHER and his SON Jesus who he ANOINTED commissioning his SON to become our Savior. Also, remember that we are made the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF God the Father being IN his SON Jesus and the SON is NOT the FATHER. Keep reading and you will see that this is the CORRECT interpretation of this verse)

2.  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, AND of Jesus our Lord,

3.  According to as his divine power (Please remember the REST of God's word and interpret this verse correctly to mean HIS divine power as being the divine power OF Yahweh that was GIVEN to our Lord Jesus BY HIS God and Father Yahweh to DWELL IN Jesus. And now this same divine POWER, the Holy Spirit) has GIVEN unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue: (In other words, the SAME DIVINE POWER that was GIVEN to God's SON by his God and Father Yahweh Jesus has NOW GIVEN to us by the authority given to him by Yahweh in order to empower us to do the SAME works Jesus did THROUGH the eternal SPIRIT Yahweh who DWELT IN him)

4.  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these (The PROMISES in God's word) YOU (Dear child of God, who BELIEVE on God's SON as the CHRIST the ANOINTED one EMPOWERED to do all the will of his God and Father) might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having ESCAPED the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5.  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6.  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7.  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8.  For if these things are in you, and ABOUND, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9.  But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

10.  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give the diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:

11.  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Remember the REST of God's word that clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY with absolutely NO interpretation needed that to us as Christians there is but ONE God EVEN the FATHER and ONE Lord, who all Christians know as being Jesus the CHRIST the ANOINTED one of the FATHER)

12.  Wherefore (Or for this very reason) I will not be negligent to put you always in REMEMBRANCE of these things, though you know them, (Or SHOULD know them ALREADY) and be established in the present TRUTH.

13.  Yea, I think it is good as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in REMEMBRANCE; (Or to teach you what you SHOULD already know and be established in the TRUTH)

14.  Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me.

15.  Moreover, I will endeavor that you may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

16.  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17.  For HE (Jesus, the SON OF the living God) RECEIVED FROM God the FATHER honor and glory,(WHEN? When did Jesus RECEIVE FROM his God and Father the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit with DIVINE POWER?) WHEN there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

So WHEN did this VOICE come FROM the excellent glory saying, this is my beloved SON, in whom I am well pleased? It was AT the baptism of Jesus. Please read Matthew 3:16.17, Mark 1:7-13, John 1:28-34 and Luke 3:22.

Matthew 3:16,17.

“And Jesus, WHEN he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17.  And lo a VOICE from heaven, saying, This is my beloved SON, in whom I (Yahweh his God and Father) am well pleased.”

Mark 1:7-13.

“And preached, saying, There comes one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

8.  I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. (This power and authority to GIVE or send the Holy Spirit of Yahweh were COMMITTED into the hands of the SON only AFTER Jesus completed the task of being God's sacrificial spotless LAMB that he was COMMISSIONED by his God and Father Yahweh to do. Please read the study “THE POWER AND THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER!”)

9.  And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was BAPTIZED of John in Jordan.

10.  And straightway (Or immediately) coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the SPIRIT like a dove descending upon him:

11.  And there came a VOICE from heaven, saying, You are my beloved SON, in whom I am well pleased.

12.  And immediately the Spirit drives him into the wilderness.

13.  And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.”

John 1:28-34.

“These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

29.  The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the LAMB OF God, which takes away the sin of the world. (The LAMB was used by Yahweh as a MEANS by which man could be cleansed of their sins. Yahweh PROVIDED His own Lamb. Jesus is the WORKMANSHIP OF Yahweh who formed Jesus in the womb)

30.  This is he of whom I said After me, comes a MAN which is preferred before me: for he was before me. (Not one person, in that day, were looking for a God/man to save them. But rather, they believed the Scriptures which prophesied of God raising up a MAN who would be ANOINTED of God. Now Trinitarians use the verse to try and prove that Jesus preexisted saying that Jesus was BEFORE John the baptist and the Bible clearly teaches us the John was born 6 months BEFORE Jesus was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary. Therefore, they conclude that Jesus must, without fail, have preexisted in order to be BEFORE John the baptist. And, therefore, Trinitarian Christians reason that Jesus must, without fail, be Yahweh Himself in order to have pre-existed. But does this verse truly teach us that Jesus pre-existed? Remember that the English Bible is a TRANSLATION, and as many of you know, some translations are very Trinitarian bias in translating the original text to English. This is why we need to compare translations, look up words for ourselves, and see what LITERAL translations say. Now the LITERAL translation of this verse says, “This is concerning whom I said after me is coming MAN who in toward place of me has become or has come to be that before most or that one preferred before me he was.” NOT that Jesus preexisted, but rather, John was identifying that Jesus is that one who was before him in time as in, prophesied to come before John was born. So when we read the literal translation it becomes clear that all John is saying is that the time has come for the one prophesied to come to increase while he himself must decrease. John was a prophet as well and he knew the Scriptures spoke of a MAN, who would be ANOINTED with God's SPIRIT, who was before John in POSITION being PREFERRED above John or preeminent. Keep reading and this will be made clear to you)

31.  And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 

32.  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

33.  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and REMAINING on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Ghost.

34.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.”

So John is saying that he did not know before if Jesus was the Christ or not but only knew that Christ would be coming soon. John is saying that he knows what God has told him, which was that when John SAW the Holy Spirit descending down from heaven coming upon a MAN and REMAINING upon that MAN, then that one is the SON OF God, whom Yahweh has ANOINTED. Then John is saying that he WITNESSED this event and is testifying that Jesus is the CHRIST the ANOINTED one on whom the SPIRIT of Yahweh came upon to REMAIN.

The point that I was making before I got a little off track is the WHEN Jesus was ANOINTED with POWER from on high, which to ME is clearly seen to be AT his baptism, Jesus did no miracles BEFORE his baptism where the SPIRIT descend upon him to remain. This is the FIRST public announcement by Yahweh Himself that Jesus was his SON. The ministry of Jesus BEGAN as soon as Jesus returned in the POWER of the SPIRIT and from being tempted of the devil for forty days. There is no mention of Jesus being tempted before his baptism.

When we read the Bible we come away with the THINKING that people knew that Jesus was the SON of God from his birth, Yes a few close to him pondered on what took place at his birth and how much Jesus knew as a child, but it was not like they published this knowledge like we would read the daily newspaper. But rather these events of Jesus were written down AFTER the death and resurrection of Jesus even many years after. So John bare record of Jesus as the Christ the ANOINTED one, the SON OF God by word of mouth first, and then after the resurrection, this record was written down. The NEW Testament was not as sacred to those, who copied the manuscripts as the Old Testament, so there were many manuscripts of the New Testament. And it has been said that some were lost and even destroyed by the Roman Catholic Church. Rumor or not I cannot say for sure either way, but there is much evidence that SOME verses were indeed tampered with to try and push or manipulate the doctrine of the Trinity as being taught in the Bible itself. Please read the study “1 John 5:7 THESE THREE ARE ONE!” for why many believe that this verse was ADDED and is NOT in the original text.

Now, Satan has been AGAINST the ANOINTING since day one. His very first temptation was CHALLENGING Jesus saying IF you be the SON OF God, then PROVE it by making these stones into bread. The temptation is used to bring DOUBT or that causes one to disobey God. So it may be that Satan was trying to make Jesus doubt that the Scriptures spoke of him. Or it may be that Satan was trying to get Jesus to abuse the NEW power that he had just received from his God and Father.

My point is that the ANOINTING has wreaked havoc over Satan's kingdom. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and committed this SAME power and authority to his disciples who turned the world upside down with the ANOINTING in the mighty NAME of Jesus. So the devils do NOT want believers to know that Christians HAVE the SAME anointing dwelling IN them. Satan does NOT want Christians to know that they can do the SAME works that Jesus did THROUGH the ANOINTING dwelling IN him. Let us move on to the next section of this Trinitarian article which is the CLAIMED pre-incarnate appearances of Christ in the Old Testament.

Pre-incarnate Appearances of Christ.

Many theologians believe that appearances of the “angel of the Lord” (or, more literally, “angel of Yahweh”) in Old Testament times were pre-incarnate appearances of Jesus Christ. (The word pre-incarnate means “before becoming a human being.”) There are a number of pieces of evidence for this view:

First of all, a theologian is one who THEORIZES, speculates, makes assumptions, suggests, and proposes things that are NOT proven. A “theory” is a speculation that is NOT proven. The evolution THEORY is just an OPINION of “theologians” of science and it is NOT proven by evidence that cannot be refuted. And yes, I realize that “theology” is the study of God’s logos or God’s word. But yet many church doctrines are simply “theories” that are concluded by the “interpretation” of the Bible “theologians”.

Now, the Bible does indeed teach us that Yahweh HIMSELF became a human being as we have already learned in this study, but NOT in the way that is taught by the mainstream church denomination that Yahweh “incarnated” Himself to become human. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between Yahweh HIMSELF becoming flesh to Yahweh creating Himself a human SON by speaking His word of prophecy out from His own mouth and then PERFORMING His spoken word of prophecy to bring it to pass. 

Let us continue with the “famous” angel of the Lord verses of Scripture that are used to try and prove that God the Father can NOT be seen BUT God the Son CAN be seen. Think about that for a while and let it sink in. God can NOT be seen BUT God CAN be seen. The ONE God can NOT be seen BUT the ONE God CAN be seen. To ME, all the angel of the Lord, verses of Scriptures are TYPES and FIGURES of Jesus and NOT a literal pre-existing Jesus manifesting himself as the angel of the Lord.

1. The angel of Yahweh appeared to Moses in the burning bush and claimed to be God (Exodus 3:6).

It was a literal angelic being in the burning bush that spoke FOR Yahweh the words OF Yahweh. And the angel was MISTAKEN to be God.

2. Yet, the angel of Yahweh was sent into the world by Yahweh (Judges 13:8–9), just as Jesus was sent into the world in New Testament times by the Father (John 3:17).

The angel of the Lord is a FIGURE of Jesus. We would never try and force Joseph to be a “MANIFESTATION” of a pre-existing Jesus so why try and force the angel of the Lord verses to be a manifestation of a pre-existing God the Son?

3. The angel of Yahweh prayed to Yahweh on behalf of the people of God (Zechariah 1:12), just as Jesus prays to the Father for the people of God today (Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1–2).

Again, teaching us that the angel of the Lord foreshadows Jesus as a type or figure of the Messiah.

4. It would seem those appearances of this “angel” could not be the Father or the Holy Spirit. After all, the Father is One “whom no one has seen or can see” (1 Timothy 6:16, NIV; see also John 1:18, 5:37). Moreover, the Holy Spirit cannot be physically seen (John 14:17). That leaves only Jesus.

No, it does not leave us with the only option that the angel of the Lord is Jesus. It leaves us with the angel of the Lord to actually BE a literal angelic being speaking on behalf of Yahweh. ALL the appearances of the angel of the Lord were indeed angelic beings who appeared as a man. 

To say that God the Father can NOT be seen and then turn right around and say that God the Son CAN be seen is to DENY that Jesus is God because God can NOT be seen.

Now at least this Trinitarian writer of this article is HONEST by saying below that IF this is true and uses words like SUGGEST, SEEMS, and ASSUMING, because he or she knows that these verses must be INTERPRETED.

And rather than being SOUND in their teaching almost all Trinitarian writers do NOT consider the CONTEXT or the REST of God's word. They only quote verses out of context and dogmatically demand what they mean leaving behind the idea in the minds who hear their teaching that there is NO OTHER POSSIBLE meaning. And the Trinitarian writers who do consider the context try and CHANGE the CLEAR PLAIN and SIMPLE word of God by twisting them to say what they are not truly saying so that they will not contradict their man-made doctrines.

You see dear children of God, if so be that the doctrine of the Trinity was indeed taught in Scripture then it would CLEARLY be taught even to using the word “TRINITY” and there would be absolutely no contradictions with any other part of God's word. Let us closely examine this Trinity author's four arguments listed above by reading the context of those Scriptures.

1. The angel of Yahweh appeared to Moses in the burning bush and claimed to be God (Exodus 3:6).

Please read Exodus 3:2-15.

“And the angel OF the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3.  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. (Here we see that what appeared to Moses was the ANGEL OF Yahweh either as a flame of fire or in a flame of fire in the midst of a bush that appeared to be burning but was not being consumed so Moses went over to check out this great sight)

4.  And when the LORD (Yahweh and NOT the ANGEL OF Yahweh but rather Yahweh HIMSELF) saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. (So Moses HEARD the VOICE of God calling out to him and the sound of this voice came from out of the midst of the bush. Nothing here says that Moses SAW God but rather Moses heard God and NOT that ANGEL of Yahweh calling out to him. Now, if so be that the voice came from the ANGEL OF Yahweh then it should be clearly understood that the angel of Yahweh was speaking FOR or in behalf of Yahweh as Yahweh's MESSENGER. This is one of the meanings of the word “angel” a messenger.)

5.  And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off your shoes from off your feet, for the place whereon you stand is holy ground.

6.  Moreover, he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. (So the VOICE that Moses is HEARING that is coming out of the burning bush says that he is God or Yahweh. And Moses is now afraid to look toward the burning bush fearing that he might SEE God and die. But in truth, what Moses saw was NOT Yahweh Himself but rather the ANGEL OF Yahweh, as in, the MESSENGER of Yahweh. And thus, Moses only HEARD a VOICE saying that he was Yahweh. Again, since the voice came from the ANGEL then that angel was speaking in BEHALF of Yahweh and it was NOT Yahweh HIMSELF in person doing the speaking. When the angel Gabriel spoke Yahweh’s words to the Virgin Mary no Christian tries to force the angel Gabriel to BE Yahweh Himself. The truth of the matter is that Angels speak AS the VOICE OF Yahweh the words that Yahweh GAVE them to speak and that is what happened in the case of the burning bush)

7.  And the LORD (Or Yahweh) said, (As in Yahweh said by way of his angel that he sent to speak to Moses from the burning bush) I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

8.  And I am COME DOWN (Yahweh is SPIRIT and Spirit is present everywhere and in truth does not travel from place to place. So Yahweh coming down should be understood as a MANIFESTATION of Yahweh's VOICE being sent down from God's throne. God can SPEAK from heaven and be HEARD from anyplace on earth. So God coming down does not mean literally or physically if so be that God has a physical body. In other words, God SENDS his MESSENGERS in His BEHALF to bring the message of God saying on God's behalf in the first person as if God Himself is speaking saying I am come down) to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

9.  Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

10.  Come now, therefore, and I will SEND YOU unto Pharaoh, that YOU may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. (Here we see Yahweh SENDING Moses on his behalf to speak FOR Yahweh but this does not mean the Moses is Yahweh. So, in the same way, the ANGEL OF Yahweh speaking FOR Yahweh does NOT make the angel of the Yahweh be Yahweh)

11.  And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

12.  And he said, Certainly I will be WITH YOU; (This literally reads “I shall become with you” Yahweh shall become whatever is needed for him to become. I remember one sermon many years ago on God's faithfulness of God doing what he said he will do is like God saying, “If I do not have it I will create for you and if I run out I will create more!” So God is saying “I shall BECOME whatever you need, I will be with you”. Keep in mind that Moses is also a TYPE or FIGURE of Jesus) and this shall be a TOKEN unto you, that I have SENT YOU: When you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God upon this mountain.

13.  And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

14.  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: (Which LITERALLY reads “I SHALL BECOME WHO OR WHAT I AM BECOMING”) and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM (Or I SHALL BECOME) has sent me unto you. (So Yahweh the creator is the FIRST “I AM” and Yahweh’s Messiah Jesus is the LAST “I AM”. And IF Jesus was quoting Exodus 3:14 then, to me, Jesus was saying I am the one PROPHESIED to come. I AM IS the FIRST and I AM the LAST, the one prophesied to come into existence)

15.  And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, The LORD (Yahweh) God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: THIS is my NAME forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.”

So Yahweh's or the one true and only Almighty God the Father's NAME is Yahweh and NOT the ANGEL OF Yahweh. Yahweh is ONE and there are NOT two Yahweh's. Yahweh's SON has not yet been brought into existence. Plain and simple, the angel of the LORD was an ANGELIC being, who brought forth a MESSAGE FOR Yahweh speaking in Yahweh's behalf, or Moses just simple HEARD Yahweh's VOICE coming out of the burning bush. Also, in Judges 13:18 where Manoah ASKED the ANGEL OF Yahweh his NAME and the angel of Yahweh said it was a SECRET and he did not tell her. So if so be that the angel of the LORD is Yahweh then why would he tell Moses without Moses asking a thing but yet NOT tell Manoah, who ASKED to know the ANGEL of the LORD? Again, those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity READ INTO these verses what they NEED them to say. For you see, without a pre-existing God the Son in the eternity past the doctrine of the Trinity falls apart.

Judges 13:18.

“And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why do you ask thus after my name, seeing it is secret?”

2. Yet, the angel of Yahweh was sent into the world by Yahweh (Judges 13:8–9), just as Jesus was sent into the world in New Testament times by the Father (John 3:17).

The LITERAL meaning of the New Testament Greek word TRANSLATED as SENT referring Jesus was SENT by his Father means COMMISSIONED. The word commission means GIVE authority and power to do a TASK. This is exactly what Yahweh did when he ANOINTED his SON Jesus and SENT him OUT into the world to preach. It is an INTERPRETATION and meaning read into the text to say that SENT means without fail with absolutely no other possible meaning than to be sent DOWN out of heaven down to the earth. If one is going to try and force that the angel of the LORD is Yahweh, then EVERY mention of the angel of the LORD must clearly and plainly show us without a doubt that the angel of the LORD is Yahweh and they do NOT! For example, 1 Chronicles 21:15,16 clearly and plainly teaches us beyond any shadow of a doubt that the angel of the LORD is NOT Yahweh himself but and ANGEL sent by Yahweh.

1 Chronicles 21:15,16.

“And God SENT an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and AS he (The angel that Yahweh sent) was destroying, the LORD (Yahweh) beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the ANGEL that destroyed, It is enough, stay now your hand. And the ANGEL OF the LORD stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

16.  And David lifted up his eyes and SAW the ANGEL OF the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.”

NO MAN has SEEN God at any time and the MAN David SAW the ANGEL OF God, therefore, the ANGEL OF the Lord is exactly what the word of TRUTH says it is, which is an ANGEL and NOT Yahweh Himself as Trinitarians CLAIM. It does NOT Say that God the Father sent the angel. But rather, it says that Yahweh sent the angel.

3. The angel of Yahweh prayed to Yahweh on behalf of the people of God (Zechariah 1:12), just as Jesus prays to the Father for the people of God today (Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1–2).

Yes, and many PROPHETS prayed to Yahweh on behalf of the people of God just like Jesus did and this does NOT make these MEN to be Yahweh himself. So just because angels can talked to God and ask Yahweh questions does not prove that the angel of the Lord is the pre-existing God the Son. Again, the angel of the Lord verses can be seen as TYPES and FIGURES of Jesus.

4. It would seem that appearances of this “angel” could not be the Father or the Holy Spirit. After all, the Father is One “whom no one has seen or can see” (1 Timothy 6:16, NIV; see also John 1:18, 5:37). Moreover, the Holy Spirit cannot be physically seen (John 14:17). That leaves only Jesus.

Can you not see dear children of God how this STRATEGY saying that this is the ONLY possible way that it can be DECEIVES Christians into believing what the Trinitarian writer wants them to believe? Search out the truth for YOURSELF. Trinitarians are trying to FORCE this meaning that the ONLY possible answer is it MUST be Jesus. As you have already seen that the OBVIOUS is the TRUE meaning of these verses. The Bible ITSELF says ANGEL OF the LORD so the ANGEL OF the LORD is the ANGEL OF Yahweh and NOT Yahweh HIMSELF as Trinitarians would have you believe. ANGELS can be SEEN and Yahweh is invisible. Also, Jesus is NOT an ANGEL. Jesus was created LOWER than the ANGELS. Again, the angel of the Lord is simply a figure of a type pointing to Jesus. Now Christians would say that Joseph is Yahweh Himself simply because Joseph is a type of figure of Jesus.

Please read Hebrews 2:6-9.

“But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is MAN, that you are mindful of him? or the son of MAN, that you visit him?

7.  You made him (Yahweh made His spoken word of prophecy to be a man. And the SON OF MAN Jesus was MADE) a little LOWER than the ANGELS; (And NO angel is EQUAL to Yahweh. And Jesus was made even LOWER that the angels at first during the days of his FLESH) you crowned him (The SON OF MAN Jesus) with glory and honor, AND did SET him over the works of your hands:

8.  You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

9.  But WE (The very eyewitness of Jesus) see Jesus, who was MADE a LITTLE LOWER (Or INFERIOR) to the ANGELS for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every MAN.” 

Trinitarians sound like the Jehovah's Witnesses when they try to force Jesus to be the ANGEL of the LORD. Jesus is NOT an ANGEL, NOT Michael the archangel and NOT the ANGEL OF Yahweh. Jesus is the SON OF God and the SON OF MAN that Yahweh Himself brought into existence at the virgin birth of Jesus. Let us move on to the next argument to try and prove that Jesus is Yahweh himself.

5. The angel of Yahweh and Jesus engaged in amazingly similar ministries—such as delivering the enslaved (Exodus 3; Galatians 1:4; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 2 Timothy 4:18; Hebrews 2:14–15) and comforting the downcast (Genesis 16:7–13; 1 Kings 19:4–8; Matthew 14:14, 15:32–39.

Moses is a MAN and the Bible tells us that Moses engaged in delivering God's enslaved people and this does NOT make Moses to be Yahweh Himself. Yahweh USED ANGELS and PEOPLE to do his work and none of them were Yahweh Himself. And now, in these last days, God is USING His SON Jesus to speak FOR Yahweh in the BEHALF OF Yahweh. We have already learned in this study that the words of Jesus were NOT his OWN words but the words of Yahweh the FATHER who COMMISSIONED his SON Jesus to speak in his BEHALF for Yahweh the FATHER. Jesus is NOT the FATHER.

These pieces of evidence SUGGEST that appearances of the angel of Yahweh in Old Testament times were pre-incarnate appearances of Christ. Assuming this is correct, the word “angel” is used of Christ in these verses in accordance with its Hebrew root, which means “messenger, one who is sent, envoy.” Christ, as the angel of Yahweh, was acting on behalf of the Father, just as He did in New Testament times.

Notice that Trinitarians OPENLY ADMIT that NONE of the verses they use to try and prove the doctrine of the Trinity actually prove their doctrine. But rather, they merely SUGGEST that those verses mean that God is a Trinity. Many ASSUMPTIONS are made in trying to prove the doctrine of the Trinity meaning that IF SO BE one thing is true then it follows to reason that another thing MAY be true when in truth BOTH things are NOT what the WHOLE word of God teaches us in SIMPLICITY.  Let us move on to the next section of the Trinity article, which we are examining in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God.

The Biblical Basis for the Trinity.

The deity of Christ is intimately connected to the doctrine of the Trinity. This doctrine affirms that there is only one God and that in the unity of the one godhead there are three coequal and coeternal persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Let us briefly consider the evidence for this doctrine.

First, it is ASSUMED that God is a trinity where there is UNITY in the ONE Godhead. Think about the word “GODHEAD”. Jesus is the HEAD of the church and the husband is the HEAD of his wife. The ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God is the HEAD of ALL. Yahweh ALONE is the GODHEAD or the HEAD God, the God OF gods, the ALMIGHTY God, the HIGHEST God. In other words; the Father ALONE is the Godhead. There are NOT three persons is ONE Godhead, but rather ONE divine eternal INVISIBLE Spirit is the God HEAD, who ALONE is the FATHER.

We have already seen that the ALL FULLNESS of the GODHEAD DWELT IN Jesus bodily AFTER the cross when the human Jesus was highly exalted and GIVEN all power, authority and JUDGMENT. This proves that Jesus is not a PART OF the Godhead, but rather that the Godhead is ONE PERSON now dwelling IN the body of Jesus. I do agree with the UNITY between Yahweh and His BEGOTTEN Son. But I do not agree that a God the Son has always pre-existed in the eternity past.

Also, to add further proof that God is NOT a trinity God the Bible itself actually only teaches us of TWO as opposed to THREE and these TWO are Almighty God the Father AND his SON Jesus. God is SPIRIT and there is just ONE Spirit. Please read the study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for all the verses that clearly and plainly teach us that there are only TWO and NOT three as the doctrine of the Trinity dogmatically demands based on verses that only SUGGEST that there are three different persons.

The word of TRUTH teaches us that there is only ONE who is IMMORTAL which this Trinitarian writer clearly identifies as being the FATHER in his point #4 above, which I will again give you below.

4. It would seem those appearances of this “angel” could not be the Father or the Holy Spirit. After all, the Father is One “whom no one has seen or can see” (1 Timothy 6:16, NIV; see also John 1:18, 5:37). Moreover, the Holy Spirit cannot be physically seen (John 14:17). That leaves only Jesus.

In 1 Timothy 6:13-16 we read where there is only ONE who has always been IMMORTAL and that this is WHO Jesus came to SHOW us is the FATHER who cannot be SEEN nor can be seen. So then, this verse clearly proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that ONLY the FATHER has always possessed IMMORTAL LIFE IN HIMSELF. 

This means that the SON OF God cannot possibly be CO-ETERNAL WITH the Father as those who teach the man-made false doctrine of the Trinity dogmatically demand that Christians MUST believe if you want to be accepted and called a true Christian by Trinitarian Christians. For you see, in my opinion, there are far too many Trinitarians who INTIMIDATE Christians with fear saying that if one DENIES the doctrine of the TRINITY then they are NOT truly saved. But be assured dear children of God, the Bible ITSELF does NOT teach us that we MUST, without fail, believe the doctrine of the Trinity or that Jesus is Yahweh Himself in the flesh being fully THE ALMIGHTY God and fully a man at the same time having TWO natures, one DIVINE, and one human in order to be SAVED.

Please read 1 Timothy 6:13-16.

“I give YOU CHARGE in the sight of God, (Yahweh) who quickens all things (Or who gives life to all things), AND before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

14. That YOU KEEP this commandment (The writer here of God's word is giving us CHARGE in the sight of Yahweh AND before his SON Jesus the Christ the ANOINT of Yahweh that WE KEEP this TEACHING that is to follow) without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15. Which in his times (Speaking of both the first coming and the second coming of Jesus) he ( The SON OF Yahweh who came to show us the FATHER) shall show, WHO is the blessed and ONLY Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; (Yahweh is THE King eternal who MADE Jesus  His King and Lord. And WE will be made kings and lords. So Yahweh is THE KING OF the ones being made kings and lords BY Yahweh Himself. The word Potentate means sovereign and above all, the highest and the ALMIGHTY. We have already learned that since Jesus has THE God the FATHER OVER him then the SON cannot possibly be the ONLY potentate, and seeing that Jesus came to SHOW us the FATHER, then mere common sense teaches us that the ONLY potentate is the FATHER. Even Trinitarian writers like the one of this Trinitarian article that we are examining in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God clearly identifies the “WHO” in this passage of Scripture as being the FATHER who cannot be seen NOR can be seen. For you see, the next verse says whom no man has seen NOR CAN SEE and Jesus was most definitely seen by men. So the one who ONLY has always had immortality is the Father alone who is the INVISIBLE eternal Spirit, the ONLY Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Can you not see that the invisible God is the ETERNAL King who MADE His human Son Jesus Lord and King to rule for Him in the world yet to come for 1000 years. It is Almighty God the FATHER who can not be seen)

16. Who ONLY has IMMORTALITY, (Or who only is SELF EXISTING having LIFE in HIMSELF without beginning or ending) dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom NO man has SEEN, NOR CAN SEE: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”

Now we know that men have SEEN Jesus and we know that WE as Christians shall SEE Jesus and be LIKE him for we shall SEE him as he IS. So the ONLY ONE who has ALWAYS been SELF EXISTING is YAHWEH the FATHER and NOT his SON who was BEGOTTEN on a certain DAY in time. Please read the study “DID JESUS HAVE A BEGINNING?” and “WHAT DOES GOD INCARNATE MEAN?” for the true SOUND BIBLICAL teaching on YAHWEH HIMSELF coming in the FLESH as opposed to the FALSE teaching that God the SON came into the FLESH.

There Is One God.

In the course of God’s self-disclosure to humankind, He revealed His nature in progressive stages.

The wording self-disclosure is a bit misleading and may lead some to wrongly believe that Yahweh and His Son are one and the self-same divine eternal being. Yes, God alone reveals Himself but He USES different means. In the Old Testament, Yahweh used the prophets. And in the New Testament, Yahweh used His human SON. And now Yahweh uses us as believers in His Son Jesus where none of whom are divine, self-existing, co-eternal, and co-equal with Yahweh. The Bible promises that if we are found FAITHFUL to endure unto the end THEN we SHALL BE partakers of the DIVINE NATURE. Jesus said of himself that he had to overcome. 

Please read Revelation 3:14.

“To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, EVEN AS I ALSO OVERCAME, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

And God can NOT be TEMPTED. But God’s HUMAN Son which He formed in the womb of the Virgin Mary could be tempted. And for his reward, Yahweh himself PROMISED in a PROPHECY to his SON Jesus in Psalm 132:11-14 that he would sit on His throne with Yahweh.

Psalm 132:11-14.

“The LORD (Yahweh) has sworn in truth unto David, (Prophecy referring to Jesus) He (Yahweh) will not turn from doing it; Of the fruit of your body (Prophecy of Jesus Christ) will I SET upon your throne. 

12.  IF your children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon your throne forevermore. 

13.  For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has DESIRE it for his habitation. 

14.  This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have DESIRED it.”

Jesus went to the cross to prepare a place of DWELLING for his God and Father to REST and dwell forever. The truth of the matter is that Jesus came to SHOW us the FATHER and NOT HIMSELF and the Bible ITSELF always identifies God as being the FATHER and God OF Jesus. Jesus never calls himself God and always spoke of the Father as being HIS God.

First, God revealed that He is the only true God. This was a necessary starting point for God’s self-revelation. Throughout history, Israel was surrounded by pagan nations deeply engulfed in the belief that there are many gods. Through the prophets, God communicated to Israel that there is only one true God (Deuteronomy 6:4, 32:39; Psalm 86:10; Isaiah 44:6). Even at this early juncture, however, we find preliminary indications of the Trinity (Genesis 1:26, 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16). God’s oneness is also emphasized in the New Testament (Romans 3:29–30; 1 Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; 1 Thessalonians 1:9; 1 Timothy 1:17, 2:5; James 2:19; Jude 25).

Yes, the Bible itself clearly teaches us that there is but ONE TRUE God who Jesus HIMSELF clearly identifies as being the FATHER and himself as being the SON OF God who the Father SENT out into the world to show us the FATHER to be the ONE TRUE God. I explain in-depth all the PLURAL uses of Elohim translated as God in the Old Testament in other studies that I have written. Please read the study “GENESIS 1:26 Let US make man in OUR image!”

One thing that I would like to point out yet again is how most Trinitarian writers do not address the CONTEXT of the verses that they use. For example, this writer uses 1 Corinthians 8:4 to establish the TRUTH that there is just ONE God, but he does not share with his readers the CONTEXT which clearly identifies this ONE God of Christians and being the FATHER ONLY and our one Lord as being his SON Jesus.

Please read 1 Corinthians 8:4-6.

“As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but ONE. (Referring to the ONE TRUE God who is the SOURCE and creator of ALL and not speaking about other lesser gods who are Elohim or mighty ones put in power by Yahweh. The writer does not get into this distinction here in this passage, but rather, focuses on God and false gods or idols. You see, in truth, Yahweh is the God OF gods or the HIGHEST God over all other gods that He Himself SET to be gods)

5. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) [Here the writer does hint at the truth that there are indeed many other godz and lords that are NOT idols or false gods.]

6. But to us (As Christians or believers in God's SON) there is but ONE God, THE FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

So the Bible ITSELF clearly and plainly identifies the ONE God as being the FATHER in SIMPLICITY with absolutely no interpretation needed to understand this very simple statement of FACT. And our ONE Lord is clearly identified as being Jesus the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one by his God and Father. Jesus himself clearly identifies the FATHER as being the ONE TRUE God in John 17:3 where Jesus is praying TO his God and FATHER.

John 17:3.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU (And NOT us together but rather that they know) YOU the ONLY true God, AND Jesus Christ (Or AND that they ALSO may know me your SON Jesus who you have ANOINTED and) whom you have sent.” 

Or whom you Father have COMMISSIONED to go out into the world to SHOW YOU Father to be the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God Yahweh. Now, Trinitarian Christians use 1 John 5:20 to try and prove that Jesus himself is the one true God. But the unclear verse must be interpreted in the light of the clear verses like John 17:1-3.

1 John 5:20.

“And we know that the SON OF God is come, and has given us an UNDERSTANDING, that we may KNOW HIM that is TRUE, and we are in HIM that is TRUE, EVEN IN his SON Jesus Christ. This is the TRUE God, AND eternal life.”

Trinitarians INTERPRET “EVEN IN His SON Jesus Christ” as being THIS is the TRUE God. But in truth, the REST of God's word clearly and plainly teaches us the Yahweh ALONE is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER. Jesus came to show us the FATHER and not himself. Even this verse in question states as FACT that the SON OF God has come and HE, the SON OF God has GIVEN us UNDERSTANDING that we may KNOW HIM. The HIM here is speaking of the FATHER who is TRUE when it is interpreted correctly, Again, Jesus did not come to show us HIMSELF but rather came to show us the FATHER. 

Let us finish this verse, and we are in HIM speaking of being IN the FATHER. But HOW are we IN HIM the FATHER? EVEN by being IN the SON. Now notice that TWO things are being spoken of in the last part of this verse, which are the TRUE God AND eternal life. So then, the UNDERSTANDING that Jesus gave to us is THIS. 

That we may know HIM, the FATHER as the TRUE God AND that we may know or have the understanding that in order to be IN the FATHER who is TRUE we must be IN his SON Jesus AND THIS is ETERNAL LIFE. In other words, by being IN the SON OF Yahweh we are also in the Father who is TRUE. This agrees perfectly with what Jesus himself taught us in John 17:3, which we just read. 

But the Trinitarian INTERPRETATION of 1 John 5:20 contradicts what Jesus HIMSELF taught us in John 7:3 where we must know the Father to be the ONLY TRUE God AND we must know his SON Jesus who is the ONLY WAY to the Father and THIS is ETERNAL LIFE.

Now read the LITERAL translation of 1 John 5:20.

“We have perceived yet that the SON OF God is arriving and has given us comprehension that we might be knowing the true one and we are in the true one IN the SON OF HIM Jesus ANOINTED this one is the true God and life eternal.”

What is the OBJECTIVE? To KNOW the FATHER and get to the FATHER whom Jesus came to SHOW us or give us UNDERSTANDING. HOW to we get to the FATHER? ONLY by being IN the SON OF HIM. Jesus said if we do not have the SON, then we do NOT have the FATHER either. The Jews believed in the FATHER, but many would not believe in the SON OF HIM. The Jews believed that the Father Yahweh was indeed the ONE TRUE God. There is absolutely no question about the Old Testament teaching us that Yahweh is the ONE TRUE God. And every Christians agrees that the ONLY WAY to the Father and ETERNAL LIFE is by Jesus his SON. So then to be IN the FATHER we must be IN the SON OF HIM and THIS is ETERNAL LIFE.

Now when one INTERPRETS 1 John 5:20 ALONE and APART from the rest of God's word it is easy to interpret that Jesus is the TRUE God. But in truth this verse is saying that being IN Jesus is being IN the TRUE God. In other words being IN the SON OF HIM is being IN the FATHER the TRUE God and THIS is ETERNAL LIFE.

Jesus said in John 17:3.

“And THIS is LIFE ETERNAL, (WHAT? What is LIFE ETERNAL or ETERNAL LIFE?) that they might know YOU the ONLY TRUE God, (The Jews already knew that Yahweh is the ONE TRUE God, but they did NOT know Jesus the CHRIST whom Yahweh had sent or COMMISSIONED. So Jesus goes on to say) AND (That they may know your SON) Jesus Christ, whom YOU have sent (Or COMMISSIONED).”

Jesus does NOT say that they may know ME the Son of you to be the only true God. Nor does Jesus say that they may know BOTH of us as the one true God, but then we know the FATHER as the one true God AND that we know Jesus as the ONLY WAY TO the Father and ETERNAL LIFE for without the SON there is NO eternal life. The Jews already knew the Father to be the only true God but they did not know the SON Jesus as being the CHRIST the ANOINTED one of the one true God.

The Father Is God.

As history unfolded, God progressively revealed more about himself. It eventually became clear that while there is only one God, there are three distinct persons within the one godhead, each individually recognized as God (Matthew 28:19).

If you the reader and seeker of the TRUTH have done any research on your OWN for YOURSELF, then you already know that it took CENTURIES to develop this man-made Roman Catholic doctrine of the Trinity. And if you have done any in-depth research you already know that Matthew 28:19 is one of those Trinitarian verses that is under question meaning that some early manuscripts do NOT quote this verse the same way as modern translations. Some early church writers who quote this verse do NOT have in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit but rather quote this verse as “in my name.” Please read the study “IS THE KING JAMES VERSION CORRUPTED?”

I also deal with extra-Biblical evidence to show that the doctrine of the Trinity was a man-made doctrine that took four centuries to form in the study “ANSWERING THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY!” So if you want to see what I have found researching the HISTORY of the Trinity, then read that study. But for now, let us use some simple rational thinking and stay in the Bible ITSELF. In the CONTEXT of this verse in question, we see Jesus saying that all power was GIVEN TO ME. This agree with the early manuscripts saying baptize them in MY name, rather than in THE name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. We also know that to be IN the SON makes a believer be IN the Father ALSO. This was UNDERSTOOD. Now, if so be that Jesus did indeed teach his disciples to baptize in all THREE as the QUESTIONABLE verse says, then WHY did the disciple of Jesus DISOBEY his words and baptize ONLY in the name of Jesus which again AGREES with the early church writer quoting this verse saying MY name. End of verse.

Now why would the disciples of Jesus NOT obey the words of Jesus when the context of Matthew 28:19 we read that Jesus COMMANDED them to teach those they baptized to OBSERVE or KEEP what Jesus had commanded his disciples.

Matthew 28:18-20.

“And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is GIVEN unto me in heaven and in earth.

19.  Go you, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

 Logically speaking, if so be that this modern translation is indeed what Jesus taught his disciples then his disciples did NOT OBEY the teachings that he commanded them to keep because nowhere in the REST of the entire New Testament do we find any disciples baptizing anyone with this Trinitarian formula of baptism.

Logically speaking the word “NAME” is singular, as in, ONE persons NAME. The Bible itself clearly teaches us that the Father's NAME is Yahweh and that the SON'S NAME is Jesus, which means Yahweh saves or the salvation OF Yahweh. The Bible does not give us the NAME of the Holy Spirit and rightly so because the Bible itself does NOT teach us that the Holy Spirit is a SEPARATE person distinct from the Father. But rather, Yahweh the Father is one and the self-same divine eternal Spirit being as his very own self-same Holy Spirit. Please read the study “IS THE HOLY SPIRIT THE THIRD PERSON OF THE TRINITY?”, “THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON!”, and “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for the sound Biblical evidence you can weigh for yourself. Nowhere in the Bible are we taught to believe in THREE but we are clearly and plainly taught to believe in TWO, the Father, and his SON and if we do NOT have the SON then we do NOT have the Father either.

The Father, for example, is explicitly called God (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; Galatians 1:1; 1 Peter 1:2). He is also portrayed as having all the attributes of deity—such as being everywhere-present (Matthew 19:26), all-knowing (Romans 11:33), all-powerful (1 Peter 1:5), holy (Revelation 15:4), and eternal (Psalm 90:2).

Again, no true Christian would ever deny that the Father OF Jesus is GOD. And no true Christian denies that Jesus is called God by TITLE. And no true Christian denies that the Holy Spirit is God. But many TRUE Christians do indeed DENY the man-made doctrine of the Trinity. The Bible ITSELF teaches us that the Father ALONE is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God Yahweh who has a SON who was GIVEN that name Jesus which means Yahweh saves or the salvation OF Yahweh.

The Bible teaches us that there is ONE Spirit and that God IS a Spirit. And when you consider all the verses of Scripture it becomes clear that the Holy Spirit IS the Father, as in ONE and the self-same BEING as the Father. The Holy Spirit is NOT a separate third person.

The Bible itself teaches us that Jesus is God, AS IN, Jesus is a LESSER God who was HIGHLY EXALTED to BECOME a God BY HIS God and Father Yahweh, the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER.

So again, the Bible itself teaches us that there is but ONE Spirit; that God IS SPIRIT; that ONLY ONE has always been IMMORTAL or ETERNAL; that the Spirit is ETERNAL; that the FATHER DWELT IN his SON Jesus; that the Holy SPIRIT DWELT in Jesus; that God is the Father OF Jesus; and that Jesus was CONCEIVED OF the Holy Spirit. Read the above studies and you will find much more sound Biblical evidence that clearly teaches us that the Father and Holy Spirit are ONE and the SELF SAME DIVINE ETERNAL SPIRIT BEING and SOURCE of ALL including his SON Jesus whom he made BOTH Lord and Christ and highly exalted to BECOME a God UNDER and SUBJECT to HIS God and Father, creator of ALL.

The Son Is God.

Jesus is also explicitly called “God” in Scripture (Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8). And He, too, has all the attributes of deity—including being everywhere-present (Matthew 28:20), all-knowing (Matthew 9:4), all-powerful (Matthew 28:18), holy (Acts 3:14), and eternal (Revelation 1:8, 17).

Jesus is indeed called God in Hebrews 1:8, but nowhere else in Scripture. And in the CONTEXT of Hebrews 1:8, we can clearly see that Jesus is a God UNDER and subject to HIS God and Father who alone is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God over all other Gods including being THE God over his SON Jesus. We have already covered this passage of Scripture so I will not quote it again. If you desire the full in-depth study please read “DOES HEBREWS 1:10 TEACH US THAT JESUS IS YAHWEH?”

Every other verse that Trinitarians CLAIM as saying that Jesus is God must be INTERPRETED that way disregarding any other interpretations of those verses. We have already covered those verses but we will take a brief look once again at Titus 2:13 to see what this verse truly means in the light of the WHOLE word of God.

Titus 3:13.

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God AND our Savior Jesus Christ;”

It is primarily taught that Jesus ALONE is coming again. It is often overlooked that BOTH Almighty God AND His SON Jesus are coming at the second coming of Jesus. And because it has been so dogmatically taught that Jesus IS God, as in, being THE one true and only ALMIGHTY God Himself, then many Christians, therefore, do not make the distinction that whenever the word God is used that it almost always refers to the FATHER and not his SON Jesus. As I have already said the ONLY time that the word “God” is used and the context makes it crystal clear that it is referring to the SON is in Hebrews 1:8,9.

Here in Titus 2:13 the word “God” must be INTERPRETED to be referring to the Son. Now, one may interpret the AND here as a clause further identifying the great God but as I have said many times any INTERPRETATION one concludes must AGREE with the REST of God's word. And as you have seen in this study making Jesus to be Yahweh Himself does NOT agree with what the WHOLE word of God clearly teaches us.

But if we INTERPRET the “AND” here in Titus 2:13 as being a conjunction comparing TWO DIFFERENT persons of beings, then this AGREES with the rest of God's word with absolutely NO contradictions. Even the doctrine of the Trinity clearly states that Jesus is NOT the FATHER and that the Father is NOT the SON. And as we have already learned the ONE God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and the one Lord as being Jesus the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one, the salvation OF Yahweh. We have already covered Jesus having the attributes of Yahweh and have shown the true meaning of these verses.

The Holy Spirit Is God.

The Holy Spirit is also recognized as God (Acts 5:3–4). He, too, possesses the attributes of deity, including being everywhere-present (Psalm 139:7–9), all-knowing (1 Corinthians 2:10–11), all-powerful (Romans 15:19), holy (John 16:7–14), and eternal (Hebrews 9:14).

I absolutely agree that the Holy Spirit is indeed Yahweh Himself but NOT some so-called THIRD person of a man-made Trinity God named Yahweh. That would make THREE Yahwehs. The Bible itself teaches us that our God is ONE which is translated from the Hebrew word “ECAD” that means single. Please read the study “WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for a deeper understanding that there is but ONE SPIRIT. God or Yahweh is Spirit. Yahweh ONLY has always had immortality. There is but ONE Spirit. The one Spirit is Eternal so the ONE TRUE God is the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT. Yahweh is ONE God in ONE PERSON who is always identified as the FATHER.

Nowhere in the Bible are we taught that we must believe in THREE in order to be save, but we are indeed taught to believe in TWO and if we do not believe in BOTH the Father AND the SON then we do not have eternal life.

Three-in-Oneness in the Godhead.

Scripture also indicates there is three-in-oneness in the godhead. In Matthew 28:19, the resurrected Jesus instructed the disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). The word name is singular in the Greek, thereby indicating God’s oneness. However, the definite articles in front of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (in the original Greek) indicate they are distinct personalities, even though there is just one God.

These distinct personalities relate to each other. The Father and Son, for example, know each other (Matthew 11:27), love each other (John 3:35), and speak to each other (John 11:41–42). The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at His baptism (Luke 3:22), is called another comforter (John 14:16), was sent by the Father and Jesus (John 15:26), and seeks to glorify Jesus (John 16:13–14).

It is sad to say, but it is the TRUTH and it must be made known that the Bible is a TRANSLATION from the original text and every single verse is NOT as it should be to agree with the LITERAL meaning of the ORIGINAL text. It is also sad to say that MANIPULATION and TAMPERING with the original text have also occurred in the history of the church. Just Google “questioning the authenticity of 1 John 5:7” or “COMMA JOHANNEUM” or click on the links and also read the study “1 JOHN 5:7,8 THESE THREE ARE ONE”  and  “MATTHEW 28:19 FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT = TRINITY”

Matthew 28:19 is one of those QUESTIONABLE verses. Some early church writers who quote Mathew 28:19 make no mention of the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but rather simply say “my name”. Please read the study “IS THE KING JAMES BIBLE CORRUPTED?”

Also, if so be that these early church writers erred in their quoting of Scripture then one has to ask the question of WHY? Why did the disciples of Jesus DISOBEY his teaching and baptized to the name of Jesus and NOT in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

An Analogy.

A helpful analogy of the Trinity is that God is like a triangle that is one figure yet has three different sides (or corners) at the same time. So there is a simultaneous threeness and oneness. Of course, no analogy is perfect since in every analogy there is a similarity and a difference. For example, water can exist simultaneously in three different states as ice, water, and steam; that is, as a solid, liquid, and a gas at a pressure of 4 Torr and a temperature of 273K. One substance but three totally different personalities.

Analogies of TWO can be presented as well, but we should not base our faith on analogies but rather on the Scriptures that clearly and plainly teach us to believe on TWO. Here is an interesting verse to me that causes me to ponder WHY the Father is NOT mentioned, but only Jesus and the Holy Spirit. 

Please read Matthew 12:31,32.

“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32.  And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of MAN, it shall be forgiven him: BUT whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”

Now, most places in the New Testament have the TWO as the Father and His Son, Jesus, but here in this verse the TWO are the SON of MAN Jesus and the ONE ETERNAL Holy Spirit. And I thought WHERE is the FATHER? This is when the Holy Spirit began showing me that he, the Holy Spirit, is the FATHER. Think about this verse. Jesus is saying men can say whatever they want to about him and they will be forgiven, BUT if anyone speaks against the Holy Spirit they are in danger of hellfire. So what about the Father? Will men be forgiven if they speak against the Father? Why did not Jesus INCLUDE the FATHER?

The TRUTH of the matter is Jesus KNEW WHO HIS God and Father is and this is WHY Jesus said you can say whatever you want about me, but don't you dare say anything bad about my FATHER or you will be in danger of hellfire.
