U-8. Is JESUS YAHWEH HIMSELF? Part 1

Part 1 of the FIVE-PART study on is Jesus YAHWEH?

The answer to this question is highly controversial among Christians. Every group of Christians has their own “interpretation” of the Scriptures as to WHO Jesus is. So I pray that you will read the WHOLE matter with an open heart and mind truly seeking to know only the TRUTH of what the Bible ITSELF teaches us as to whom Jesus is according to the WHOLE word of Almighty God. This five-part study will address the many Trinitarian arguments from a Trinitarian article written by a Trinitarian Christian. Also, many arguments given by Oneness Pentecostal Christians will be addressed as well. 

And for that reason, this will be a LONG and very IN-DEPTH study on WHO is Jesus according to the WHOLE word of Almighty God as opposed to who is Jesus according to verses of Scripture taken OUT of the CONTEXT to try and force Jesus to be Yahweh Himself in the flesh having TWO natures at the SAME time DURING the day of the FLESH of Jesus. I mean, why even say the DAYS of his FLESH if so be that Jesus was never TRULY flesh without ANY divine nature of his OWN during the DAYS OF his FLESH?

In truth, the simple short answer to this question is both a yes and a no answer. Let me explain what I mean by this. If a Christian “interprets” the Scriptures to mean that Yahweh Himself manifested Himself to become flesh and REMAIN the FULLY Divine Yahweh Himself then answer is an emphatic NO! But IF a Christian says Yahweh came IN the flesh, as in Yahweh came and DWELT IN the flesh of His HUMAN Son, Jesus, then the answer is, YES.

In other words, the “interpretation” that Jesus HIMSELF IS Yahweh HIMSELF contradicts verses of Scripture like Numbers 23:19 and Hosea 11:9 which clearly teach us in simplicity that Yahweh is NOT a MAN and neither is Yahweh the SON OF MAN. And that INCLUDES a “God the Son”, the second person of the so-called Trinity God, Yahweh, as NOT being a MAN as well. For you see, the Bible itself clearly teaches us that Jesus IS the Son of MAN. Trinitarian Christians can NOT argue that Jesus is God, the second person of the Godhead, and Jesus can NOT be Yahweh Himself, as in the second person of Yahweh. In other words, if God is NOT a MAN then Yahweh is NOT a man as well because Yahweh is the personal NAME of the only true God who is ONE self-existing God in ONE PERSON that is the SOURCE of all that is created BY Him.

Numbers 23:19.

“God (El) is NOT a MAN, that he should lie; NEITHER (Is EL) the SON OF MAN, that He should repent (Or that He should be REGRETTING that He created humans): has He said, (Or has Yahweh prophesied) and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, (Or has Yahweh declared the END from the beginning) and shall He not make it good?”

Hoses 11:9.

“I (Yahweh) will NOT execute the fierceness of my anger, I (Yahweh) will not return to destroy Ephraim: FOR I (Yahweh) am God (El), and NOT MAN; the Holy One in the midst of you: (Speaking of the now highly exalted Son of MAN, the Holy One of Israel, who will EXECUTE the WRATH of Yahweh) and I (Yahweh) will NOT enter into the city.” 

Yahweh will come WITH Jesus at the second coming of Jesus but Yahweh Himself will not come down all the way to the surface of the earth until AFTER the Millennial reign of His Holy One, Jesus. Yahweh has COMMITTED all JUDGMENT into the hands of His highly exalted human Son BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN, according to John 5:26,27.

John 5:26,27.

“For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself; 

27.  AND has GIVEN him authority to execute judgment also, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.” 

That was the short NO answer to the question “Is Jesus Yahweh?” And the short YES answer to this question is that if Christians “interpret” Scriptures like his NAME shall be called Emmanuel which means God WITH us to mean the Yahweh DWELT IN His human Son, Jesus, then the simple short answer to the question Is Jesus Yahweh is a YES. 

The SHORT answer is yes, Jesus is Yahweh, in that, Jesus is the WORKMANSHIP OF Yahweh. For you see, Yahweh first begat Himself a human son by PERFORMING His own spoken word of PROPHECY by making the word FLESH just like John 1:14 teaches us. And then, when the human Son of man was about to turn 30 years of age, Yahweh EMPOWERED His human Son to accomplish the task that He sent or commissioned His human Son to do. Yahweh was IN the ANOINTED human Son of Yahweh reconciling the world to Himself. So everything that Jesus IS was GIVEN TO him BY Yahweh His creator who FORMED Jesus in the womb of the Virgin Mary.

Please read 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

“Therefore, if any man is IN Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things (Or more precisely, the ALL of WHOSOEVER BELIEVES) have become new. (For you see, the English word “THINGS” is NOT in the original text. It was ADDED by the translators in MANY verses of Scripture. And by adding the word “THINGS” it influences some Christians to be misled to wrongly believe that Jesus is the creator of the entire universe. When, in TRUTH, it is through or by reason OF the anointed Son of MAN, Jesus, that made it possible for the ALL of WHOSOEVER who BELIEVE to become NEW CREATURES created IN Jesus Christ BY Yahweh the Father)

18.  And all things (Or again, more precisely this should read as the ALL as speaking of ALL of whosoever that BELIEVES) are of God, (In other words, it should read as and ALL are OF God) who has reconciled us (The ALL of whosoever believes) to Himself by (Or by REASON OF) Jesus Christ, and has given to us (The ALL of whosoever believes) the ministry of reconciliation; 

19.  To wit, that God was IN Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us (The ALL of whosoever believes) the word of reconciliation. 

20.  Now then, we are ambassadors FOR Christ, (In somewhat the same way that Jesus was the AMBASSADOR FOR God) as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you (Or we IMPLORE you) IN Christ's STEAD, be you reconciled to God. (We are the hands and feet of Jesus in the same way that Jesus is the ARM of Yahweh. We BELONG to Jesus and Jesus BELONGS to God, according to 1 Corinthians 3:23)

21.  For, He has made him be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God IN him.” 

The “TERMS” that we use as Christians mean DIFFERENT things among different church denominations. Some Christians use verses in the Bible to try and prove the Deity of Jesus WHILE he was on the earth during his earthly ministry before his crucifixion and resurrection which is NOT sound Biblical teaching. Jesus was GIVEN the divine nature of immortality to be having in himself AFTER the cross. We have already covered that passage of Scripture in John 5:26,27. But not all Christians try to force Jesus to be Yahweh Himself as the Trinitarians and Oneness Pentecostal Christians do.

Other Christians like myself, use the same verses to correctly teach that Yahweh HIMSELF literally himself became a human being, as in Yahweh miraculously BEGAT Himself a HUMAN Son by performing His OWN spoken word of PROPHECY. In other words, Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that the spoken words out from Yahweh’s mouth are “SPIRIT” and IN Spirit there is LIFE. God is Spirit and His words are of divine NATURE that has LIFE in them.

So then, in the SENSE that Yahweh Himself laid aside ALL of His DIVINE nature that was IN His spoken word of prophecy took on the NATURE of humans. In other words, the word that came forth out from the mouth of Yahweh was STRIPPED of all its divine nature as IT took on the NATURE of humans. And then, when the MAN Jesus came to be 30 years of age, the Holy Spirit came down from heaven to REMAIN on or with the human Jesus. This is called the ANOINTING of Jesus where Yahweh Himself came to DWELL IN his SON Jesus to EMPOWER Jesus to do the works that his God and Father COMMISSIONED him to accomplish. Then it was AFTER Jesus obeyed all that the Father showed, taught, and empowered his anointed human SON to do and say, even to suffer and die on the cross that Jesus was GIVEN the divine nature of immortality. 

It was Yahweh, the Father who raised His human SON from the dead and HIGHLY EXALTED Jesus to become a God to rule and reign FOR Yahweh during the 1000 year reign of Jesus, which is yet to come. In other words, Jesus was GIVEN the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY only AFTER the cross to BECOME Deity. Jesus came OUT FROM Deity to be MADE FLESH. And from his virgin birth to the day God ANOINTED Jesus there was NO deity or divine nature in Jesus. After his baptism, Deity came and DWELT IN the fully human Jesus. Yahweh dwelling in us does NOT make us Deity or to have divine nature. But at the coming of Jesus, we WILL be made partakers of the DIVINE NATURE of immortality just like Jesus was GIVEN after the cross. 

So then, BEFORE the so-called INCARNATION, there was ONLY Yahweh HIMSELF alone in ONE PERSON who alone is the FATHER. Therefore, according to the WHOLE word of Almighty God, Jesus in a sense pre-existed as Yahweh Himself, as in, the PLAN of Salvation that was WITHIN the very being of Yahweh. So, in truth, in a more precise Biblical sense, Jesus pre-existed ONLY in the mind and PLAN of Yahweh to one day have a SON whom He would MAKE Lord and God over the EARTH to rule as God FOR Yahweh IN Yahweh’s NAME for 1000 years. 

Jesus himself said that he came forth out from God or Yahweh, the Father. This means that Jesus knew and understood that the Scriptures spoke of him. Jesus knew of his virgin birth and the prophecies foretelling his virgin birth. Jesus knew the Scriptures because the eternal Spirit woke him morning by morning and TAUGHT Jesus the Scriptures GIVING him the tongue of the learned. Thus, Jesus knew HOW Yahweh created and FORMED him in the womb of his mother, the Virgin Mary. Jesus understood that Yahweh SPOKE forth out of his mouth the IMAGE that was WITHIN Yahweh to bring forth into existence that which Yahweh desired to BE or to become. 

Jesus even knew the LITERAL meaning of the Scriptures. Jesus knew the LITERAL meaning of Genesis 1:3 and Jesus knew the LITERAL meaning of Exodus 3:14. Thus Jesus knew that Yahweh Himself literally became whatever He SPOKE into existence through the words that came forth out from the mouth of his God and Father. We will read the two verses from the literal translation shortly and I will explain in detail what they mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

Again, all of what I have just said will be proven to you beyond any shadow of a doubt by sound Biblical teaching a little here and a little there throughout this entire five-part study to answer the question “Is Jesus Yahweh?” For you see, it would NOT be completely correct to say that Jesus is NOT Yahweh in the same way that it is NOT completely correct to say that Jesus IS Yahweh. I will explain what I mean by this as we continue this study.

So let us begin this IN-DEPTH study in God's word by clarifying a few things first so that you know what I myself mean by the “terms” that I use. And remember that the REAL controversy is WHO is Jesus DURING his MINISTRY ONLY and NOT BEFORE the so-called INCARNATION of Yahweh, or the so-called Yahweh MANIFESTED Himself to become FLESH. And also, remember that the focus of this study is NOT upon who Jesus is AFTER Jesus was GLORIFIED to BECOME an IMMORTAL HUMAN being. The main purpose of this study is to answer the question “WAS Jesus Yahweh HIMSELF DURING the DAYS of the FLESH of Jesus?”

Now, I have emphasized HUMAN being as being the nature of Jesus so that you can see that when WE are GIVEN the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY at the coming of Jesus this does NOT make us become Yahweh Himself. We will become ONE with the Father even as or in the SAME WAY that Jesus is now ONE with his God and Father. Yahweh is still yet THE ONLY TRUE God OVER his SON Jesus AFTER Almighty God the Father GAVE his SON the divine nature of immortality and highly exalted him to give his SON a NEW NAME above every other name TO the GLORY of the FATHER.

Also, I must add that the MAIN purpose of this study and all the studies I write is to expose the errors of “interpretation”. Some Christians interpret verses to mean that there is a “Mother” God with Yahweh and that is an ERROR of “interpreting the Scriptures”. Some interpret the Bible to mean that Jesus IS Lucifer and that is an ERROR in “interpreting the Scriptures”. And in this series of studies, I will expose the ERRORS of “interpretations” made by both Trinitarian and Oneness Pentecostal Christians to make Jesus be fully God and fully man at the same time having TWO natures at the SAME time, one divine, and one human.

I teach my readers the TRUTH about the doctrine of CHRIST which clearly teaches us that Jesus could do NOTHING OF HIMSELF and that the human Jesus was EMPOWERED BY Almighty God where Yahweh HIMSELF did the WORKS by DWELLING IN his human Son Jesus. And I teach WHY this TRUE ANOINTED Jesus is so VITALLY important to know and understand? For you see, those who teach the doctrines of Oneness and the doctrine of the Trinity dogmatically demand that ONLY Jesus can live WITHOUT SIN because to THEM Jesus was and is Yahweh HIMSELF. 

In other words, to me, these false doctrines of Oneness, the Trinity, and the Deity of Jesus during the days of his flesh are KEEPING Christians in BONDAGE to SIN by misleading Christians to wrongly believe that no HUMAN being can ever live without sin. And this is what our enemy Satan WANTS. Therefore, the Devil is going to FIGHT the TRUTH using Trinitarian and Oneness Christians that he has deceived to come against anyone that denies or even questions their man-made doctrines. 

So, in truth, all three doctrines, the doctrine of Oneness, the doctrine of the Trinity, and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus during the days of his flesh are ALL doctrines of DEVILS that keep Christians in bondage to SIN by saying that ONLY Jesus can live without sin. The very teaching that Jesus was NOT just a HUMAN being ONLY but that Jesus was a God/man having TWO natures at the SAME time, a DIVINE nature and a human nature has given Christians the misconception that ONLY Jesus can live without sin because Jesus is fully Almighty God in the flesh. Thus, these three man-made teachings are deceiving Christians that ONLY Jesus could live without sin BECAUSE he ALONE had a DIVINE nature and WE do NOT have a DIVINE nature.

However, the Bible ITSELF clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY that the DIVINE nature of Yahweh DWELT IN Jesus in the SAME way that the DIVINE nature DWELLS in ALL true born again Christians to EMPOWER us to live WITHOUT sin FOLLOWING the EXAMPLE Jesus set for us to FOLLOW.

“For even hereunto (Or for even this very purpose) were YOU CALLED: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE, that YOU should follow HIS STEPS: (WHAT steps? What steps are WE as Christians CALLED to FOLLOW? Keep reading the word of TRUTH)

22.  Who did NO SIN, neither was guile found in his mouth:”

Have you not read that Jesus was CALLED by Yahweh to walk in righteousness and that Yahweh promised in His word of prophecy to HOLD his hand to help him resist the evil and choose the good? Have you not read that Jesus was granted to be seated at the Father’s right hand because Jesus OVERCAME and that WE will be granted to sit on the throne WITH Jesus IF we OVERCOME? If not, here are the Scripture references that you can read later. (Isaiah 42:6; Revelation 3:21; Daniel 7:13,14,22; and Psalm 110) 

With that being said, let us now begin this in-depth study in God word of TRUTH by considering the WHOLE matter and not just the verses that are taken out of context and interpreted apart from the rest of God's word to expose the errors of interpretation that are made in this Trinitarian article.

The following article that we will closely examine in this study of God's word is on the doctrine of the Trinity. It was sent to me by one of my readers to try and prove that Jesus is God, as in, Jesus is Yahweh HIMSELF being fully the one true and only Almighty God and fully a man at the same time having two natures, one DIVINE, and one human while Jesus was on the earth DURING his earthly ministry, which again, is NOT sound Biblical teaching as you will soon see directly from the Bible ITSELF. ALL emphasis in this article on the Trinity is my own.

Is Jesus really God? There are many cults and false religions today that deny it. The Jehovah’s Witnesses, for example, believe Jesus was created by the Father billions of years ago as the Archangel Michael and is hence a “lesser god” than the Father. The Mormons say Jesus was born as the first and greatest spirit child of the Heavenly Father and heavenly mother and was the spirit brother of Lucifer. New Agers claim Jesus was an enlightened master. Unitarian Universalists say Jesus was just a good moral teacher. What is the truth about Jesus Christ? We turn to the Scriptures for the answer.

Yes, I totally agree. Let us turn to the Scriptures, for the answer. But let us use the WHOLE of Scripture and NOT just “cherry-picked” verses taken OUT of the CONTEXT. But first, let us take a look at the meaning of the word “CULT” and the meaning of “RELIGION” particularly the “FALSE” religions because, technically, in the eyes of the world, Christianity is a “RELIGION” as well. However, too many Christians we do not view our faith as a “RELIGION”, but rather, our faith is having a personal relationship with Almighty God the Father God and his Son Jesus as being the ONLY way to obtain eternal life in the world to come. And a “religion” is more of people going through a mandatory routine of rituals trying to earn favor with their god. 

Whereas, Christianity is believers who believe in and on Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God, as their personal Savior, who suffered and died on the cross for our sins. And, we as Christians, practice a lifestyle of living a godly and righteous life before our God and his Son Jesus THROUGH the power of the eternal Spirit dwelling in us. In other words, true Christians walk in obedience to the teachings of Jesus and his disciples under the New Covenant written in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. And thus, the “general” definition of a “cult” is everything that is NOT TRUE Christianity.

Now, to many of us as Christians, but not ALL of us as Christians define a “CULT” as being a group of believers in Jesus, who have indeed erred from the truth. And to us, this means that they are still yet true born again Christians confessing Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but SOME of what they teach is not ALL sound Biblical teaching. 

I say many of us and not all Christians because those in the mainstream church denominations define a “CULT” as ANY PERSON who denies the doctrine of the teaching of the “TRINITY” and the “DEITY” of Jesus. And those in the mainstream church denominations of BOTH Trinitarians AND Oneness Christians teach that if one does NOT believe in these two ESSENTIAL church doctrines that Yahweh came in the FLESH and thus Jesus IS Yahweh Himself in the FLESH then they are NOT truly saved and they are a “CULT”.

In other words, the Oneness Pentecostal Christians argue that they all are the only true “ORTHODOX” Christians. And thus, to them, they ALONE have the truth and every other Christian is a “CULT”. While at the same time, the Trinitarian Christians argue that they are the only true “ORTHODOX” Christians. And thus, to them, everyone that DENIES the doctrine of the Trinity is a “CULT”.

Now, to me personally, I warn my readers about Christian groups, such as the Mormons, the Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Seventh Day Adventist along with any other church denominations that boast the CLAIM that they ALONE are the one true church, and if you are not apart of THEIR church, then, according to them, you are NOT saved and cannot be saved until you join their church. And I also WARN my readers to stay far away from any church that SHUNS their members when they question what they are being taught. Please read the study “IS SHUNNING BIBLICAL?” to learn why shunning is so dangerous. So to ME, a more correct definition of a “CULT” is ANY church that makes the claim that they ALONE have the truth as to how to be saved and unless you are a part of THEIR church denomination then you can not be saved.

Jesus said that he CAME OUT FROM God and CAME FORTH FROM the Father. Please read the study “JOHN 16:27,28 JESUS CAME OUT FROM GOD?” But for now, I would like to point out some strategies used by those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity. And for that matter, those who teach any false doctrine that is not EXPLICITLY taught in the Scriptures also use these same strategies. Please notice the points brought out above by this Trinitarian writer.

First of all, let me make it perfectly clear to my readers that I am not a part of a “cult”.  Nor have ever been a part of ANY so-called “CULT”. I am NOT a Jehovah's Witness and I warn my readers away from becoming a Jehovah's Witness. I am NOT a Mormon and I warn my readers away from becoming a Mormon. I am NOT a Unitarian Universalist and I warn my readers away from Universalism. Yes, I was once a Roman Catholic in name only. In other words, I did not truly know Jesus as my Lord and Savior while I was in the Roman Catholic Church. But now, I am a true born again Christian who seeks ONLY the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God as I implore my readers to do as well by searching the word of God for YOURSELVES to see if what you are being taught is the truth of the WHOLE word of God.

Next, please notice the use of the word “CULT”. No one likes to be called a CULT or being part of a cult. So intimidation is the first line of the strategy being used. This strategy of intimidation is used on anyone who QUESTIONS the doctrine of the Trinity. In fact, even cults us this same line of “intimidation” by claiming that they ALONE are the ONLY TRUE church. And the dear children of God who dares to question THEIR church doctrine are made to feel like they are stupid for doubting the one true church. 

But right now we are talking about the intimidation used by Trinitarian Christians. And if that intimidation of how dare you QUESTION the doctrine of the Trinity does not work then the intimidation is upgraded a notch to use fear of losing your salvation is you deny the doctrine of the Trinity.

Thirdly, please notice that this and most all Trinitarian writers point out the very OBVIOUS false teachings of the groups they label as being “cults”. I say obvious because almost all Christians know that the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons have false teaching which is THEN, made to appear that ALL of what the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons teach is false teaching. 

So then, in order to discredit the Jehovah's Witnesses teaching that Jesus is the SON OF God and that Jesus is NOT Yahweh Himself, this Trinitarian writer points out that Jehovah's Witnesses falsely teach that Jesus pre-existed as Michael the Archangel. This teaching was once essential teaching of the Jehovah's Witnesses which again is OBVIOUS teaching that almost all Christians in the mainstream churches would never believe. Now, Trinitarian Christians use this type of intimidation because obvious false teaching is easier teaching to understand that it is NOT taught in the Bible by seeing that the Scriptures Jehovah's Witnesses use to try and prove this teaching are being taken out of context. So by making the Jehovah’s Witness look “STUPID” they intimidate Christians who question the doctrine of the Trinity by leaving that “impression” that they are “STUPID” for ever questioning the doctrine of the Trinity.

Once any form of DISCREDIT has been established they bounce off of that obvious false teaching to MISLEAD one to believe that ALL the Jehovah's Witnesses teach is FALSE teaching. Thus, they have INTIMIDATED their Trinitarian flock to NOT search out anything that the Jehovah's Witnesses teach for themselves to see WHY the Jehovah's Witnesses do NOT believe that Jesus is Almighty God being fully God and man at the same time having two natures, one divine, and one human. So then, intimidation is used by ALL church denominations that teach things that are NOT explicitly taught in the Bible without any need for any interpretation. And this intimidation is used to basically keep their flock in line, so to speak. And, therefore, with enough intimidation, their followers will NOT QUESTION anything that they teach.

Now, again this is a strategy of pointing OBVIOUS false teaching is being used to plant the idea that if someone teaches something so far fetched that almost no other Christian believes, then HOW can one believe ANYTHING they teach? This is one of the reasons why so many Christians blindly accept that EVERYTHING  the Jehovah's Witnesses teach as being FALSE doctrine. And, therefore, some Christians that were questioning the doctrine of the Trinity blindly agree with the Trinitarian “apologist” that Jehovah's Witnesses can not possibly be truly born again Christians if they believe that Jesus pre-existed as an ANGEL.

But yet, Trinitarian Christians argue that the “Angel” of the Lord was Jesus in the Old Testament because no man has ever seen God. Now, to ME, if Jesus was the “Angel” of the Lord and if Jesus is truly God the Son, then no man could see “God the Son” EITHER. I mean IF Jesus was God in the eternity past and no man can see God, then HOW could they see Jesus? The whole Trinitarian argument that Jesus is the “Angel” of the Lord contradicts itself because they argue that Jesus IS Yahweh Himself and no man can see Yahweh by yet people have SEEN the “Angel” of the Lord. So IF the Angel of the Lord IS Yahweh Himself and people HAVE SEEN the Angel of the Lord, then that interpretation of the Angel of the Lord being Yahweh Himself contradicts the Scriptures that say that no man has SEEN God. Please read the study “IS JESUS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD?” But for now, let us see what else Trinitarians argue as their proof for the doctrine of the Trinity.

Then this particular Trinitarian writer goes on to emphasize the teaching of Jesus being a “LESSER god” as being a taboo, or a heresy, or blasphemy as if the word of TRUTH itself does NOT teach us that Jesus is a lesser God who is under and SUBJECT to his God and Father, the one true and only ALMIGHTY God, Yahweh.

We will get to the more in-depth sound Biblical evidence for why Jesus is [A] God who is under and subject to his God further on in this study of God's word that clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is indeed a “LESSER God”. But for now, we only need to look at one passage of Scripture to show that Jesus is a “LESSOR God” who is under and subject to Yahweh the Father. Please read Hebrews 1:8,9 where Almighty God the Father is speaking to his SON Jesus as being THE God over his Son. This passage of Scripture in Hebrews 1:8,9 is a quote from the Old Testament where Yahweh himself is speaking in the first person to his SON as a PROPHECY which was fulfilled by Jesus.

Hebrews 1:8,9.

“But unto the Son he said, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

9. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; THEREFORE (Or for this very reason that you my human ANOINTED Son have loved righteousness and have refused evil) God, EVEN YOUR God, has ANOINTED you with the oil of gladness above your FELLOWS.”

The Greek word that is translated as “ANOINTED” means to consecrate to an OFFICE. To say this another way, the human Son of God was ORDAINED to be Lord and God over the earth during the world yet to come. Here is how E-Sword defines this word.

There are many, many verses in the Bible that clearly teach us in SIMPLICITY with absolutely NO interpretation needed to understand these very clear, plain, simple verses that THE one true and only ALMIGHTY God, the Father, is over his SON. In other words, the clear word of God teaches us that Yahweh, who is the Father, is THE Almighty God OF his SON Jesus and that the SON is UNDER and SUBJECT to HIS God and Father Yahweh, the ONE true and ONLY Almighty God. Again, for the full in-depth study on this subject of Jesus being a “LESSER God” who is subject TO his God and Father please read “IS JESUS ALMIGHTY GOD?”. But for now, I want to point out yet another strategy used by those who teach FALSE doctrine in the churches that claim that they ALONE have the TRUTH.

First of all, Bible teachers do indeed quote Scripture including teachers of false doctrine. But those who are teaching false doctrine do NOT give the reader and the seeker of the TRUTH the WHOLE matter. Rather, they pick and choose selected verses that they themselves have been taught over and over for many years by their church denomination or seminary school for preachers until those verses have been made to rule over or negate all other verses in the Bible. What I mean by this is that teachers of false doctrine, any false doctrine, have certain verses that they use as THEIR “Bible”. And thus, the rest of the Bible that contradicts what they teach is then twisted to make or force it to agree with their own man-made doctrine. 

And this is why some writers of false doctrine avoid any verse that casts doubt or question on what they teach. And if they are challenged and shown the true correct meaning of the verses that they use to try and support their teaching, then they will first use intimidation to try to get the one questioning their teaching to back down. For you see, they know that they cannot adequately explain those verses that clearly CONTRADICT their doctrine. So then, rather than seeking the TRUTH they simply quote you another one of the verses of Scripture that they use to try and support what they teach in order to change the subject and get YOU to harmonize what you teach with their own personal “INTERPRETATION” of those verses. 

And when that verse is exposed by you CORRECTLY interpreting it to show that THEY have misinterpreted it, then they simply quote yet another verse again CHANGING the subject and never TRULY seek to know the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God. You can prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that they have incorrectly interpreted those verses of Scripture. But instead of them laying those verses aside as NO LONGER being able to use them as their so-called proof text they continue to still use them over and over again.

It is only those verses that they feel prove their doctrine that they use as “THEIR” Bible avoiding the rest of God's word. But it is not the verses of Scripture themselves that is their Bible, but rather, it is THEIR own personal “INTERPRETATION” of those verses of Scripture that is their Bible. For example, Trinitarian Christians “interpret” John 1:1,14 as “in the beginning was God the Son, and God the Son was with God and God the Son was God...14, And God the Son became flesh and remained the fully God to Son at the same time.”

As I have said many times that any verse taken OUT of CONTEXT and viewed ALONE and APART from the rest of God's word may SEEM to say, or be MADE to say something that it is not truly saying in the light of the WHOLE word of God.

Lets us move on to this Trinitarian writer’s next point.

The Mormons say Jesus was born as the first and greatest spirit child of the Heavenly Father and heavenly mother and was the spirit brother of Lucifer.

Again, please notice they are pointing out something so far fetched that is obviously NOT taught in the Bible itself so that they can plant the QUESTION of doubt in the minds of the readers that NOTHING the Mormons teach can be trusted. For you see, Mormons teach that Satan is the brother of Jesus. I mean how far fetched is that? Anyone smart enough to read knows that the Bible does not say anything about Satan and Jesus being brothers. Then they laugh. This kind of teaching is using intimidation. 

Please do not misunderstand what I am saying. As I have already said I am NOT a Mormon and I warn Christians to not become a Mormon due to the many false teachings they have. But I myself will not be the judge and jury of any group of believers in Jesus as the SON OF God, who died for theirs sins by dogmatically demanding that not one single Mormon or one single Jehovah's Witness is truly saved like many Christians in the mainstream churches do by calling them a cult simply because they deny the doctrine of the Trinity.

Again, all I myself do in what I teach is to point out the teachings from all denominations, who profess that they believe in Jesus, which CONTRADICT what the whole word of God teaches. And then I leave it to my readers to weigh all the evidence and decide for themselves what they choose to believe or not believe. Consequently, I have found through studying God's word for MYSELF that the doctrine of the Trinity, the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus, and the doctrine of Oneness all CONTRADICT other parts of God's word. And, therefore, all three of those doctrines must be labeled as FALSE man-made doctrines. Please understand that I did not set out to prove or disprove ANY teaching in any church denomination. But rather, little by little the Holy Spirit pointed out to me things in Scripture that did NOT agree with many things that we as Christians have been taught from our particular church denominations. 

I mean, just the mere fact that there are so many DIFFERENT church denominations should teach us that we all do NOT teach the SAME things. So who is right and who is wrong? Your very eternal life may be at stake by some false teachings, so this is why I teach my readers to search the word of God for THEMSELVES in order to see if what they are being taught by their church denomination is indeed the truth of the WHOLE word of God. Think things through for YOURSELF! Listen to what the Holy Spirit is teaching you. I mean, you would not be here reading this study right now if there was not a question in you as to who Jesus is? Is Jesus Yahweh HIMSELF, or is Jesus the SON OF Yahweh. Keep reading and you will know without a shadow of a doubt what the Bible ITSELF teaches us when we interpret verses correctly in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God. Let us continue with the Trinitarian arguments.

New Agers claim Jesus was an enlightened master.

Now to my knowledge the New Age movement does NOT confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior so they would fall more under the heading of false religion rather than being what the mainstream churches call a cult. Now, this is not to say that some Christians may have become a part of the New Age Movement and still call themselves Christians. I know a few Catholics, who are involved in the new age teachings and thus they mix Catholicism with Spiritualism which I agree is very dangerous. You see, to ME, I myself define a “CULT” a little differently than the mainstream church denominations. 

For example, one of the main characters of a cult, to me, is their dogmatic teaching that they ALONE have the truth and if you are not part of THEIR group then you are NOT saved. The New Age movement pretty much teaches that all roads lead to heaven so to them it does not matter what you believe, which is definitely NOT what the Bible itself teaches us. The word of TRUTH makes it very clear that Jesus is the ONLY way that leads to eternal life in the world to come. And whosoever does NOT believe on God's SON does NOT have eternal life abiding in them.

Unitarian Universalists say Jesus was just a good moral teacher.

This brief argument, that is given by this particular Trinitarian teacher actually surprised me. For you see, the most far fetched doctrine of Universalists is that EVERYONE will eventually be saved, which is blatantly obvious to almost every Christian except Universalists as NOT being taught in the Bible. So I think this writer was trying to point out that these other groups were making Jesus to be just a mere ordinary man, a good teacher at best, an enlighten master, and not anyone special so that ALL of what they teach could be thrown out as being false teaching. And thus, the teaching of denying the Trinity could be shown to be truly BASED UPON these groups teaching other things that are not sound Biblical teachings.

This again is another strategy to cast doubt on all groups of Christians who teach against the doctrine of the Trinity, so that their flock will NOT go and read for THEMSELVES as WHY these other groups DENY the doctrine of the Trinity. Trust me when I say that for the most part all these groups of Christians use the exact same verses from the Bible that I use. However, I myself use many many other verses and go into much more detail explaining the true meaning of these verses in SIMPLICITY. And I do not have any FAR FETCHED teachings that CONTRADICT what the clear plain and simple word of God teaches. Now if you do not understand something that I am teaching, then please feel free to write to me and ask me to explain it further. Let us move on to the next point.

What is the truth about Jesus Christ? We turn to the Scriptures for the answer.

I agree. I always teach my readers to search out the truth for THEMSELVES to see what the Bible itself teaches. So as we continue this study I will be adding the verses from God's word that Trinitarian writers OMIT for whatever reason. So let us continue examining this article which was written by a believer in the Trinity doctrine to try and prove that the Bible itself teaches the doctrine of the trinity and that Jesus is Yahweh HIMSELF.

Jesus Truly Is God

There are numerous pieces of evidence for the absolute deity of Jesus Christ in the Bible. The following is a summary of the more important evidences.

WHAT evidence? Does Jesus being called God by HIS God and Father prove the absolute Deity of Jesus during the DAYS of his FLESH? Remember that the focus of this study is on who is Jesus DURING the time from the virgin birth to the cross. My point is that the human Son of God BECAME Deity AFTER the cross. And all Christians know or they SHOULD know that the ONE true and only ALMIGHTY God can NOT possibly have another God OVER Himself because that would make that God OVER Him to be MIGHTIER than Him. And clearly, the Bible itself teaches us that Jesus has Yahweh the Father over him as being the God OF Jesus.

Let us now take a closer look at the evidence brought forth to try and prove the doctrine of the Trinity by interpreting those verses in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God with BOTH eyes open by the Holy Spirit Himself.

What I mean by READING INTO verses the meaning that those verses are NOT TRULY meaning is that the writer or teacher will make ASSUMPTIONS like the following. Keep reading and I will explain further as we continue.

Jesus Has the Names of God

Jesus Christ possesses divine names—names that can only be used of God.

For example:

Jesus is Yahweh. Yahweh is a very common Hebrew name for God in the Old Testament, occurring over 5,300 times. It is translated Lord(all capitals) in many English translations of the Bible.

First of all, there is absolutely NO verse or verses in the entire Bible that clearly and plainly state that Jesus is Yahweh HIMSELF. The verses below that are used to TRY and prove that Jesus is Yahweh need to be INTERPRETED by one's own personal interpretation and made or forced to say what the Trinitarian writer wants them to say. In other words, these verses are being TWISTED and the Trinitarian meaning is read into them, thus forcing the desired meaning upon them rather than letting the word of TRUTH interpret itself. Keep reading and I will show you what I mean by this.

We first learn of this name in Exodus 3, where Moses asked God by what name He should be called. God replied to him, “I AM WHO I AM... Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you’” (verse 14). Yahweh is basically a shortened form of “I AM WHO I AM” (verse 15). The name conveys the idea of eternal self-existence. Yahweh never came into being at a point in time for He has always existed.

NO! Yahweh is not basically a shortened form of God saying. “I AM THAT I AM” or tell them “I AM” sent you. God’s NAME is found in verse 15. And we get the meaning OF Yahweh from verse 14. So yes, one of the meanings of these words do CONVEY the idea of Yahweh being the self-existing one who has always been self-existing with no beginning. But this is NOT the ONLY meaning of these words “I AM THAT I AM”. In a moment we will read the LITERAL meaning of the Hebrew words TRANSLATED as “I AM THAT I AM” in the Kings James Version of the Bible. But first, I want to ask you a question.

IF SO BE that Jesus quoted Exodus 3:14 in John 8:58 by saying Before Abraham was I AM. Then was Jesus saying that he is the FIRST “I AM” of the “I AM THAT I AM”? Or was Jesus saying that he is the LAST “I AM” of the “I AM THAT I AM”?

You will understand WHY I ask that question when you read the LITERAL translation in just a few moments. But for now, please know and understand that the trinity writers are trying to establish here by using Exodus 3:14 are the very specific English words “I AM” so that they can manipulate some kind of connection with Jesus saying these very same ENGLISH words “I AM” that every Christian knows that Yahweh Himself used in the Old Testament saying to Moses, tell them “I AM” has sent you. And then by making this connection of Jesus saying “I AM” with Yahweh saying “I AM”, then supposedly they claim that they are proving that Jesus himself is EMPHATICALLY STATING as fact that he himself is the great “I AM THAT I AM” in the Old Testament. For those who may not know already the widely used verse, “I AM THAT I AM” it is found in Exodus 3:13,14 where YAHWEH Himself is answering one of two questions asked by Moses. 

So then the ASSUMPTION is being made that since Jesus said the same ENGLISH words “I AM” that Yahweh Himself said in the Old Testament, then Jesus MUST, therefore, be Yahweh because what else could Jesus have had meant. You see how this Trinitarian and Oneness INTERPRETATION of Jesus saying, “Before Abraham I am is READ INTO the text one's own personal interpretation and NOT letting the Bible interpret itself. 

Please read these verses for YOURSELF!

Exodus 3:13;14.

“And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his NAME? What shall I say unto them? (TWO questions are being asked by Moses. The SECOND question is answered first in verses 14. And the answer to the first question is found in verse 15. So verse 14 is NOT God’s NAME, but rather, it is what Moses is to SAY to the children of Israel. And the English TRANSLATION is not an accurate meaning of what Moses was to SAY to the children of Israel. You will see what I mean in a moment when you read the LITERAL translation)

14.  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.”

The TRUTH of the matter is that the Bible was NOT originally written in the ENGLISH language so anyone reading the Bible in the original language would NEVER make such an erroneous connection between Jesus and his God and Father Yahweh. Even some honest Trinitarian writers openly admit that the Bible does not emphatically teach the doctrine of the Trinity. But rather, the Bible at best only IMPLIES the teaching of a triune or Trinity God. The truth of the matter is that the INTENT of what Jesus said cannot be known by cropping out all the other things that Jesus said in the Bible. So to know the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God, then we must closely examine ALL that Jesus said. And if ANYTHING that Jesus himself said contradicts what these Trinitarian writers INTERPRET as what THEY CLAIM that Jesus meant by saying the words “I am” as being that Jesus was emphatically saying that he himself is Yahweh the great I AM THAT I AM of the Old Testament, then that Trinitarian INTERPRETATION must be thrown out as an INCORRECT interpretation. 

With that being said let us move on to the New Testament verse where Trinitarian and oneness Christians CLAIM that Jesus was saying that he himself is the great I AM THAT I AM of the Old Testament, which to them it would be the same as Jesus saying that he IS Yahweh HIMSELF.

Jesus implicitly ascribed this divine name to himself during a confrontation He had with a group of hostile Jews. He said, “I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). Jesus deliberately contrasted the created origin of Abraham—whom the Jews venerated—with His own eternal, uncreated nature as God.

Now does the Bible ITSELF actually state these claims in simplicity where there is no need for any interpretation? No! It does not. So then, as I have already said this is an INTERPRETATION of what this verse means to those who teach the doctrine of the trinity claiming that there is absolutely no other way to interpret John 8:58. They even openly ADMIT that their interpretation is IMPLIED and NOT STATED as FACT with no interpretation needed. Please read the study “JOHN 8:58 BEFORE ABRAHAM I AM!” for the true sound Biblical meaning of this verse interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God. 

But for now, please read John 5:15-30, which will clearly show those of you my readers, who are truly seeking the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God, that Jesus was NOT claiming that he himself is Yahweh the great I AM THAT I AM of the Old Testament by simple saying “Before Abraham I am.” Trinitarians take the two verses 58, and 59 out of their context and then read their own personal interpretation into those two verses. HOW do we KNOW that it is their OWN personal interpretation? We know because the CONTEXT does NOT AGREE with their INTERPRETATION that Jesus is saying that he himself IS Yahweh the only true God in the flesh.

John 5:15-30.

“The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

16.  And, therefore, did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day.

17.  But Jesus answered them, My Father works hitherto, and I work.

18.  Therefore, the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath but said also that God was his Father, making himself EQUAL with God. (Many Trinitarian teachers use this verse to try and prove that Jesus is EQUAL with God, which to me makes no sense when they also dogmatically demand that Jesus IS Almighty God Himself. I mean mere logic teaches us that if so be that Jesus IS Yahweh HIMSELF, then it is contradictory to say that Jesus is EQUAL to HIMSELF. Anyway, the truth of the matter is that the Jews were FALSELY ACCUSING Jesus of making himself equal with God and Jesus DEFENDS himself in the verses that follow which proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus was NOT making himself equal with his God and Father Yahweh)

19.  Then ANSWERED Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The SON can DO NOTHING OF HIMSELF, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the SON likewise. (So then, Jesus himself makes it perfectly clear that he did NOT claim to be Yahweh the great I am that I am in the Old Testament in John 8:58 because he clearly and plainly teaches us here in John chapter 5 that he himself can do NOTHING OF himself. Also, by these same words of Jesus, he is telling the Jews that he is NOT making himself EQUAL with his God and Father Yahweh either. And Jesus is telling the Jews that he is merely OBEYING what Yahweh is showing and telling him to do and therefore if Almighty God himself wants to WORK on the Sabbath day to heal people on the Sabbath day then who is he to argue with his God and Father. Jesus is saying that he must do what Yahweh the Father is showing and telling him to do. Jesus knows that if he obeys his God Yahweh that the Father will CONFIRM His word with SIGNS following to PERFORM His word as His Son obeyed Him to DO what He told His SON Jesus to do)

20.  For (Or BECAUSE) the Father loves the Son and shows him all things that HIMSELF DOES: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel. (Here Jesus is teaching us that it is the Father DWELLING IN him who is the one who is actually DOING the mighty works of healing that men saw Jesus doing. So then, if so be that Jesus were truly intending his words, “Before Abraham I am” to mean that he was claiming to BE Yahweh HIMSELF, then why did Jesus teach us in SIMPLICITY that it was Yahweh, the Father, dwelling in him, who was the one doing these mighty works and that he, the SON, could do NOTHING of himself. WHY would an Almighty God need Almighty God to DWELL in Almighty God? So you see dear children of God the Bible itself does NOT teach us that Jesus is EQUAL with his God and Father NOR does the Bible itself teach us that Jesus IS Yahweh HIMSELF. But rather, the word of TRUTH clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is God's SON, whom his God and Father ANOINTED with his very own Holy Spirit to EMPOWER his SON to do these mighty works. And just like WE as Christians who heal the sick do NOT heal them in our OWN power, but rather, we heal the sick THROUGH the SAME ANOINTING, who DWELT in Jesus. And now, the same Holy Spirit dwells in us as believers to EMPOWER us to do the SAME works that men saw Jesus do THROUGH the anointing who DWELT IN him. In other words, Jesus was GIVEN POWER to do all the works men saw Jesus doing but even then it was the eternal Spirit DWELLING IN Jesus who was the one actually DOING the works. This is what the DOCTRINE of Christ means and to be antichrist is to teach against this sound Biblical teaching of Jesus being ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and POWER. The word “Christ” means ANOINTING so antichrist means anti or against the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit, who not only empowered Jesus during his earthly ministry but now empowers us, who believe in the ANOINTING. I will explain this doctrine of CHRIST in more detail as we continue this study in God's word)

21.  For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son quickens whom he will. (But HOW will Jesus be able to do such things IF Jesus is not Yahweh himself? Keep reading and the Bible ITSELF tells us very plainly HOW Jesus will be able to raise the dead at his second coming)

22.  For (Or BECAUSE, as in, the reason WHY Yahweh has given his Son the power and the authority to raise the dead, which is that) the Father judges no man, but has COMMITTED ALL judgment unto the Son: (WHY? Why did Yahweh the Father commit all judgment to his SON Jesus?)

23.  THAT (Or so that) all men SHOULD honor the Son, EVEN AS they honor the Father. He that honors NOT the Son honors NOT the Father which has sent him. (This verse clearly and plainly shows us the error of oneness believers who wrongly teach that Jesus is the Father and the Father is the Son because clearly the Father Yahweh and his SON are seen as TWO DIFFERENT beings or persons. And if we do NOT honor the SON, then we do NOT honor the Father either. This is why Yahweh has blinded the eyes of his people Israel for a time and has turned to the Gentiles to offer us so great a salvation through God's SON Jesus or Yehshua)

24.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me (Or commissioned me. The Greek word translated as “sent” means “COMMISSIONED” which means to GIVE a person the power, ability, and authority to accomplish the task they are given to do. Therefore, whosoever believes and follows the words of Jesus) has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. (WHY? Why shall the dead hear the voice of the SON OF God rather than hearing the voice of Yahweh, the Father, himself?) 

26.  FOR (Or BECAUSE) as the Father HAS life in himself (Meaning that Yahweh the Father has always been immortal and self-existing having LIFE IN HIMSELF being the SOURCE of all life) so has HE (Yahweh, the Father) GIVEN TO the SON to have life in himself;

27.  AND has GIVEN him (His SON Jesus) authority to execute judgment ALSO (But WHY? Why has Yahweh the Father GIVEN his SON Jesus all these things? Is it because Jesus is Yahweh HIMSELF? Is it because Jesus is the SON OF Yahweh? Let us see what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY with absolutely NO interpretation needed as to WHY Yahweh GAVE all things to his SON Jesus) BECAUSE he is the Son of  MAN.

28.  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29.  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

30.  I can of MINE OWN SELF DO NOTHING: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek NOT mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.”

Now if so be that the man-made Trinitarian and Oneness Pentecostal INTERPRETATION of Jesus saying “Before Abraham, I am” emphatically means that Jesus was blatantly stating that he himself is the great I AM THAT I AM, then WHY would Jesus say that he himself could do NOTHING OF HIMSELF and that it was Yahweh, the FATHER, DWELLING IN him who was the one doing the mighty works of healing that men saw Jesus doing? You see dear children of God, if so be that Jesus is Yahweh himself, then why would Yahweh need to be GIVEN all power and authority by his God and Father to JUDGE. I mean HOW can a self-existing God without a beginning even have a FATHER? The mere fact that Jesus is God's SON clearly teaches us that Jesus did indeed have a BEGINNING.

Remember dear children of God that neither the Old Testament nor the New Testament was written in ENGLISH in the original text. So it was the translator, who chose to use the ENGLISH words “...tell them I am sent you…” and “Before Abraham I am.” The TRUTH of the matter is that the Hebrew in Exodus could have been translated in many different ways. We will get to some of those different translations further on in this study and you will learn HOW Jesus came into existence by coming OUT FROM Yahweh. The truth of the matter is that the word of Jesus in John 8:58 could have been translated in other ways as well. Also, most every Bible scholar will tell you that there was NO CAPITALIZATION of these words in either passage in the original text. So Christians needs to be honest with themselves and ask WHY the translator chose to CAPITALIZE the words “I AM” only in certain translations of the Bible?

The obvious reason, to ME, is that the Trinitarian bias translations want to make a more clear connection between Jesus and Yahweh saying the SAME thing. But anyone truly seeking the truth would know that Jesus clearly and plainly taught us that his doctrine was NOT his OWN but HIS that SENT him. 

Please read John 17:6.

“Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is NOT MINE, but HIS that SENT me.”

Now if so be that Jesus did indeed INTEND his words to be interpreted as him saying the NAME of Yahweh “I AM” and Jesus intended us to understand that Jesus is Yahweh Himself then WHY would Jesus say that the doctrine he taught was NOT his OWN doctrine and that it was the doctrine of the ONLY TRUE God the FATHER?

But let us ASSUME Jesus was quoting the English TRANSLATION of Exodus 3:14. IF so, then one possible interpretation of John 8:58 where the Jews were VENERATING Abraham seemingly more or at least equal to venerating Yahweh is that Jesus was REMINDING them that before ABRAHAM was born YAHWEH has always existed and NOT that Jesus was claiming to be Yahweh himself. But rather, Jesus may have been teaching the Jews to not exalt Abraham ABOVE Yahweh their creator. In other words, Jesus is trying to tell these Jews that they were exalting Abraham MORE than Yahweh, by NOT believing the WORDS of Abraham, which were the very words of YAHWEH prophesying of his coming MESSIAH that was being fulfilled in their eyes in their day. 

Actually the Jews were exalting themselves by being the SEED of Abraham much like Catholics say that THEY are CATHOLICS trusting in their being BORN as Catholics having been BAPTIZED as a baby as a CATHOLIC. In the same way, the Jews were boasting in themselves being BORN as a JEW of the linage of Abraham. Jesus said I know Abraham is your father BUT you are NOT OBEYING the words of Abraham, for if you were then you would know that the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one of Yahweh is preferred ABOVE or BEFORE Abraham. 

You see dear child of God, even though the Greek word TRANSLATED as “BEFORE” here it can mean before in time, but its first meaning is before in PLACE or position, being ABOVE, or having preeminence. Look this up for yourself in a concordance of the Bible. So another interpretation of the INTENDED meaning of Jesus saying BEFORE Abraham I am might be that Jesus is restating in another way that he is the CHRIST and that the CHRIST, the ANOINTED one of God is ABOVE or more important than Abraham. And the Jews understand this meaning took up stones to stone Jesus.

Again, the truth of the matter is that these words were NOT written in ENGLISH nor were they CAPITALIZED in the original text and not ALL translations say the same thing. Let us now closely examine the LITERAL word for word translations of Exodus 3:13;14. Here is the literal translation of Exodus 3:13,14.

“he is saying Moses to the Elohim behold! I coming to sons of Israel and I say to them Elohim of the father of you he sends me to you and they say to me what? name of him what? I shall say to them.

14. and he is saying Elohim to Moses I SHALL BECOME WHO I AM BECOMING thus you shall say to sons of Israel I SHALL BECOME he sent me to you.”

So then, in the LIGHT of the LITERAL translation of the Hebrew words Yahweh, the self-existing creator and SOURCE of all, literally BECOMES who or what He Himself SAYS what or who He is becoming when Yahweh SPEAKS forth the IMAGE that is WITHIN Himself of what He desires to BE brought into existence. So you see dear children of God the HOW Yahweh BECOMES who or what He is becoming is through His LOGOS, His SAYING, His SPOKEN word COMING OUT FROM His OWN mouth as Yahweh Himself alone by Himself creates all things BY SPEAKING them into existence where they never existed before except WITHIN Himself as His desire to BE or come into being.

Now that you understand the TRUE meaning of Exodus 3:14, let us compare the two English translations together.

King James Version of Exodus 3:14.

“I AM THAT I AM”

“Tell them I AM sent you”

The LITERAL translation of Exodus 3:14.

“I SHALL BECOME WHO I AM BECOMING”

“Tell them I SHALL BECOME has sent you.”

So again, I ask you the question.

IF SO BE that Jesus quoted Exodus 3:14 in John 8:58 by saying Before Abraham I AM. Then was Jesus saying that he is the FIRST “I AM” of the “I AM THAT I AM”? Or was Jesus saying that he is the LAST “I AM” of the “I AM THAT I AM”?

In other words, IF Jesus was quoting Exodus 3:14, then was Jesus quoting the FIRST “I AM” to be saying “I SHALL BECOME”? Or was Jesus saying that he is the LAST “I AM”, the I AM BECOMING what Yahweh Himself PROPHESIED me to become?

The FIRST Yahweh is the CREATOR and the LAST Yahweh is CREATED BY the FIRST Yahweh. Please understand that Yahweh is the SOURCE of every creations. In other words, Yahweh created everything OUT FROM Himself including His Son, Jesus.

Isaiah 55:8-11.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.

9.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10.  For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11.  So shall my WORD be that goes FORTH OUT OF MY MOUTH: IT (My SPOKEN WORD or saying coming OUT FROM my mouth) shall not return unto me void, but IT (My SPOKEN word or saying that has gone forth OUT FROM my mouth) shall accomplish that which I please, and IT (The SAYING or the SPOKEN word of God as prophecy coming OUT FROM God) shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent IT.”

Again, speaking of Yahweh’s SPOKEN word, the LOGOS, the SAYING that CAME OUT FROM WITHIN Yahweh Himself that Yahweh sent down from heaven as the rain to His prophets to PROPHESY. and remember that Jesus said that the Scriptures spoke of him. So when Jesus read these words he knew from WHERE he CAME and told us plainly that he CAME OUT FROM God in John 16:27 and John 17:8.

John 16:27.

“For the Father himself loves you, BECAUSE you have loved me, AND have BELIEVED that I CAME OUT FROM God.”

John 17:8.

“For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have KNOWN SURELY that I CAME OUT FROM you, and they have believed that you did send (Which again, literally means and they have believed that you did COMMISSION) me.”

Now let us read the LITERAL word for word translation of creation account in Genesis 1:3 which agrees perfectly with Exodus 3:14.

Genesis 1:3.

“and he is saying Elohim he SHALL BECOME light and he IS BECOMING light.”

Exodus 3:14.

“and he is saying Elohim to Moses I SHALL BECOME WHO I AM BECOMING thus you shall say to sons of Israel I SHALL BECOME he sent me to you.”

Then in verse 15 of Exodus Elohim or God or the mighty one gives us his NAME saying that his name YAHWEH will be his NAME forever.

Exodus 3:15.

“And God said MOREOVER unto Moses, (Or wait a minute Moses I am not finished telling you what to say to the sons of Israel as to what my NAME is) Thus shall you SAY unto the children of Israel, The LORD God  (Or YAHWEH THE God) of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: THIS is MY NAME FOR EVER, and THIS  (Speaking of the WHO that Yahweh prophesied would be COMING) is my memorial unto all generations.”

So the truth of the matter is that Yahweh is the NAME of God who is saying in the first person speaking of Himself, “I SHALL BECOME WHO I AM BECOMING. Tell them I AM BECOMING has sent you” as opposed to God’s NAME being I AM or I am has sent you. 

So then, if so be that the Greek words “EGO EIMI” are the equivalent of the Hebrew word “ehyeh” translated as “...Tell them I AM BECOMING has sent you as Trinity Bible scholars teach, then the translators should have translated “EGO EIMI” as Jesus saying “BEFORE Abraham to come into being I AM BECOMING”, and NOT as “I am”, or I was, or I exist or as I shall become. In other words, Jesus was PROPHESIED to come into being BEFORE Abraham was ever born.

Now, to me, this translation “BEFORE Abraham to come into being I AM BECOMING” agrees perfectly with the PROPHECY or the SPOKEN word of Yahweh foretelling of the Messiah was BECOMING into being BEFORE Abraham was spoken to become into being.

In other words, all that Jesus was saying in John 8:58 is that “I am your Messiah who was PROPHESIED to come into being or to come into existence long before Abraham was born or came into Yahweh's mind to become into being.”

Jesus is simply saying that he was SLAIN in God's mind and PLAN BEFORE the world was ever re-created or restored to be inhabitable again. So then, long BEFORE Abraham came into Yahweh's mind I, the Messiah, existed in his innermost being WITHIN Yahweh to COME into being. I am before Abraham, I am BEFORE John the Baptist. I am BEFORE the FIRST Adam because Yahweh had the LAST Adam in His mind and SECRET plan of Salvation before He restored the earth that BECAME void and empty during the war with Lucifer and the fallen angels.
