W-4. Is JESUS THE FATHER?

The central message of the entire Bible focuses on Jesus or Yeshua as being the Messiah, the one prophesied to come in the Old Testament whom Almighty God would ANOINT as His Prophet, according to Deuteronomy 18:15-22.

Let us read Deuteronomy 18:15-22.

“The LORD your God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him, you shall hearken; 

16.  According to all that you desired of the LORD you God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire anymore, that I do not die. 

17.  And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. 

18.  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their BRETHREN, like unto you, and (I, Almighty God Yahweh)  will put MY words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 

19.  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will NOT hearken unto MY words which he shall speak in MY NAME, I will require it of him. (Listen to what the creator is saying! Whosoever of the JEWS, whosoever of the MUSLIMS, whosoever of EVERY human being who does NOT hearken unto Yahweh’s words that He Himself put in the mouth of the Prophet, Jesus to speak in the NAME of Yahweh will be CUT OFF from among the people, according to Acts 3:22,23)

20.  But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. (God is teaching us here HOW we can KNOW when a prophet is NOT a TRUE prophet of the ONLY true God of the BIBLE. So to my Muslim readers, have you ever tested your prophet with what the Bible ITSELF teaches?)

21.  And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken? 

22.  When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follows not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.” 

The Muslims call Jesus Isa and they believe that Jesus was a great prophet of God but they do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is even the Son of God like the Bible itself clearly teaches.

The Jews call Jesus Yeshua and they see Jesus as a good man, perhaps even as a prophet, but they do not see Jesus as their Messiah. Nor do the Jews believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Now, all Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah and that Jesus is the SON OF God, but there are SOME Christians who are known as Oneness believers who believe and teach that Jesus is a MANIFESTATION of Yahweh the Father. And the word “manifestation”, to them, means that Yahweh manifested Himself to become the Son of Himself. And thus, to Oneness Pentecostal Christians, Jesus IS the Father, as in, Jesus is one and the SELF-SAME being as Yahweh the Father.

Yet other Christians, who believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, believe that Jesus is Yahweh Himself, BUT at the same time, they say that Jesus is NOT the Father. These Christians are known as Trinitarians, or Christians who believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. The main difference between the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of Oneness is that Trinitarians believe that Jesus is a SEPARATE DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT PERSON from the Father as opposed to the Oneness belief that Jesus IS the Father.

Now, ALL the above-mentioned faiths, the Jews, the Muslims, and the Christians, ALL use the Holy Bible, or at least they use the Old Testament of the Bible as a source for what they believe and teach. Some faiths use additional sources, but we will not cover that issue in this study. We will use ONLY the Holy Bible to learn what the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible ITSELF teaches us in regard to the following question.

IS JESUS THE FATHER?

So then, what does the Bible ITSELF teach us? Does the Bible itself, as in, does the WHOLE word of God teach us that Jesus IS the Father? Certainly, there are SOME verses that SEEM to be saying that Jesus is Yahweh Himself. I mean even Trinitarians use these same verses used by Oneness believers to try and show that Jesus and Yahweh are one and the same divine eternal God.

Again, ALL the above faiths, the Jews, the Muslims, and the Christians, believe and teach that there is only ONE TRUE God, who is the creator of all things and who is the FATHER of ALL.

Now, there is another group of Christians that I did not mention above and that group of Christians is called Unitarians. Please see the study “WHAT IS UNITARIANISM?” for a deeper understanding of the many different groups of Unitarians within the larger group of Christians who call themselves Unitarians or unitarians with a lowercase “u”. I will just expound on what the Biblical Unitarians believe as compared to Unitarians like the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Many of you may already know that the Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that God first created his Son Jesus and then Jesus created all other things. Whereas the Biblical Unitarians believe and teach that Jesus was begotten of Yahweh at the Virgin birth and it was Yahweh Himself alone and by Himself, who created all things, according to Isaiah 44:24.

“Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and He that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens ALONE; that spreads abroad the earth BY MYSELF;”

Now, I myself am NOT an Oneness believer, I am NOT a Trinitarian, I am NOT a Unitarian like the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and I do not call myself a Biblical Unitarian. But rather, I am a born again believer in Jesus as the SON OF Almighty God the Father who believes that Biblical Unitarians are the CLOSEST group of Christians that AGREE with the whole word of God on this SUBJECT of WHO is Jesus, ACCORDING to the Bible itself. I do indeed believe that Jesus is DEITY. However, I do NOT believe that the Bible itself teaches us that Jesus was Deity DURING the days of his FLESH. But rather, the fully human Son of MAN, Jesus, was HIGHLY EXALTED to become the God of the whole Earth to rule and reign FOR Yahweh in the NAME OF Yahweh DURING the world to come for 1000 years.

But what I myself believe and what others believe is NOT what YOU should be basing your faith upon. Rather, we all should be basing our faith upon the word of TRUTH, the HOLY BIBLE alone when it is correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God. And when I say the WHOLE word of God, I mean that any and all interpretations that are concluded by Christians MUST AGREE with every passage of Scripture in the entire Bible or that interpretation is NOT the SOUND Biblical interpretation of that verse of Scripture. With that being said let us begin with the words of Jesus himself in John 5:39,40.

John 5:39,40.

“Search the scriptures; for in them you THINK you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of ME.

40.  And you will not come to me, that you might have life.”

Jesus is speaking to the Jews and some of the Jews believed his words while other Jews did not believe his words. Just briefly, back in the day of Jesus, ALL the descendants of Abraham we called Jews. Today the descendants of Abraham through the seed of Ishmael are primarily Muslims.

The main point here is that ALL the Jews, the descendants of Abraham, believed and still yet believe in the OLD Testament SCRIPTURES for salvation by obeying the Law of Moses. And Jesus is saying to the Jews, as in, all of the descendants of Abraham, which they THINK they have eternal life but they have not discerned that the Scriptures written in the Old Testament TESTIFY of him as being the Messiah. So Jesus is saying that HE IS the MESSIAH. But yet, in the world of today, the Jews of the seed of Jacob and also the Muslims of the seed of Ishmael are not all coming to Jesus so that they will receive ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come. And the false teachings of some Christians are partly to be blamed for keeping both the Jews and the Muslims from coming to Jesus to be saved. For you see, the Jews and the Muslims are strict “MONOTHEISTS” which means that they believe in ONE God is ONE person. And they do NOT believe that God is a MAN or the Son of MAN, according to Numbers 23:19.

Numbers 23:19.

“God is NOT a MAN, that he should lie; NEITHER the SON OF MAN, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

But yet, BOTH Trinitarian and Oneness Christians dogmatically demand that Jesus IS Yahweh Himself in the flesh. However, that is NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches us. The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the ONLY WAY TO Yahweh the Father and that we must believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son OF the living God.

Please read John 14:6-13.

“Jesus said unto him, I am the WAY, the truth, and the life: NO man comes UNTO the Father, but by ME.

7.  If you had known ME, you should have known MY Father ALSO: and from henceforth (Or hereafter, speaking of the receiving of the INDWELLING of the Holy Spirit) you know Him, and have seen (Or understand) Him.

8.  Philip said unto him, Lord, SHOW us the FATHER, and it suffices us.

9.  Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known ME, Philip? He that has seen ME has seen the FATHER; and how say you then, Show us the Father? (Now, the Oneness believers quote this verse OUT of its CONTEXT to try and prove that Jesus is saying that he himself IS the FATHER. But the context teaches us that Jesus is the WAY TO the Father. Jesus is the WAY TO eternal life. Jesus is the MESSIAH, the one PROPHESIED to come.)

10.  Believe you not that I am IN the Father and the Father IN me? the words that I speak unto you I speak NOT of MYSELF: (In other words, Jesus is saying, please do NOT misunderstand my words, “he that has seen ME has seen the FATHER” for these words I am speaking to you I am NOT speaking of MYSELF as being the FATHER) BUT (Or rather it is) the Father that DWELLS IN me, HE does the works. (So he that has seen the WORKS that I have done THROUGH the eternal Spirit dwelling in me has SEEN the WORKS of the INVISIBLE and only TRUE God, the FATHER. WE are in the Father and the Father is IN us and that does NOT make us BE the Father)

11.  Believe me (Or BELIEVE what Jesus HIMSELF is teaching you saying of HIMSELF) that I am IN the Father, and the Father IN me: or else believe ME for the very works' sake.

12.  Verily, verily, (Or TRULY, TRULY) I say unto you, He that believes on ME, the works that I do shall HE do also; and greater works than these shall he do; BECAUSE I go unto my Father. (And when the world sees the WORKS that you do THROUGH the eternal Holy Spirit dwelling in you then they will see the works of Yahweh the Father)

13.  And whatsoever you shall ask (Or COMMAND with authority) in my name, that will I do, THAT the Father may be glorified IN the Son.”

The whole context of John chapters 14,15,16 and the very end of chapter 13 is speaking of us, as believers in Jesus as the CHRIST, being FILLED with the SAME ANOINTING who DWELT IN Jesus. Please read the in-depth study “THE POWER AND THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER!” and “JESUS THE CHRIST” for a deeper understanding that the SAME Almighty God Yahweh DWELLS IN YOU to empower YOU to do the same works men saw Jesus do THROUGH the eternal Spirit who DWELT IN HIM.

The mere FACT that Jesus is the WAY TO the Father should raise the question to all Oneness believers of HOW can the Son of God be the WAY TO the Father if so be the Son IS the Father? Jesus did not say, I am the way to myself. Jesus said he is the way TO the Father.

And HOW can the Father DWELL IN the Son if so be the son IS the Father? I mean WHY would the Father need to DWELL IN the Father? Why would the only true God dwell in the only true God to be the way to the only true God?

And HOW is the Father GLORIFIED IN the SON if so be that the Son is one and the self-same being as the Father.

This is why KEEPING the verses IN the CONTEXT is a must when forming church doctrine. Jesus explained thoroughly what he INTENDED his words to mean so that they would NOT be taken OUT of CONTEXT to be MISUNDERSTOOD that he was saying that he himself is the Father. Let us read verse 10 again so that you can see the truth of God’s word OVER the teachings of your church denomination has WRONGLY taught that Jesus IS the Father. YES, Jesus CAME OUT FROM Almighty God the Father but so did everything else that exists. The TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God clearly teaches us that Jesus is the MESSIAH and NOT that Jesus is the Father Himself or Yahweh Himself.

John 14:10.

“Believe you not that I am IN the Father and the Father IN me? the words that I speak unto you I speak NOT of MYSELF: (In other words, Jesus is saying, please do NOT misunderstand my words, “he that has seen ME has seen the FATHER” for these words I am speaking to you I am NOT speaking of MYSELF as being the FATHER) BUT (Or rather it is) the Father that DWELLS IN me, HE does the works.”

Always remember that whatever INTERPRETATION you draw or conclude that a verse of Scripture means, then that INTERPRETATION must AGREE with every other verse in the entire Bible. And the Bible clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY that the ONE TRUE INVISIBLE God, the eternal Spirit is NOT a MAN and neither is Yahweh the Son of MAN.

Please read Numbers 23:16-19 again.

“And the LORD (Speaking of Yahweh the Father) met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.

17.  And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What has the LORD (Or what has YAHWEH HIMSELF) spoken? (Yahweh puts His words of PROPHECY in the mouth of His prophets and then Yahweh Himself PERFORMS His own SPOKEN word of PROPHECY to bring them to pass or to MANIFEST His spoken word of prophecy that came forth OUT FROM God)

18.  And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:

19.  God is NOT a MAN, that he (Yahweh) should lie; NEITHER the DON OF MAN, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

This is Yahweh Himself speaking where Almighty God Himself states as a FACT that does not need any interpretation that HE, Yahweh, the one true God is NOT a MAN or the Son of MAN.

But there are no verses in the Bible that teach us that Almighty God Himself through His eternal Spirit can NOT DWELL IN man and DWELL IN the Son of Man Jesus. There is not one verse in the Old Testament that says God can NOT HELP man or that God cannot endue man with POWER from on high. But there is, indeed, Numbers 23:16-19 that clearly teaches us in simplicity that Yahweh Himself is NOT a MAN and NEITHER is Yahweh the SON OF MAN.

Jesus is clearly called the Son of MAN over eighty times in the New Testament. So clearly, Jesus the Son of MAN cannot possibly be Yahweh Himself who ALONE is the Father. And those Christians who teach that Jesus IS Yahweh are CONTRADICTING what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY.

In John 4:1-26, Jesus is talking to the Samaritan woman at the well about the Father being a Spirit. And she says to Jesus that she has heard that the MESSIAH is coming who will tell us all things. And Jesus says I AM the one talking to you. That is the LITERAL translation of John 4:26. Jesus says the SAME two Greek words “EGO EIMI” in John 4:26 that he says in the famous Oneness and Trinitarian verse in John 8:58, “Before Abraham I AM.” But yet, in John 4:26 Jesus is CLEARLY saying that He is the MESSIAH and NOT the Great I AM THAT I AM in Exodus 3:14. Please read the study “WHAT DOES JOHN 8:58 TRULY MEAN?” But for now, let us read John 4:24-26 from the King James Version first and then I will quote verse 26 from the LITERAL translation of the Greek New Testament.

Here is John 4:24-26 from the King James Bible.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (And in verses 21-23, Jesus calls God the Father) 

25.  The woman said unto him, I know that Messiah comes, which is called Christ: when he has come, he will tell us all things. 

26.  Jesus said unto her, I that speak unto you am he.”

Now let us read John 4:26 from the LITERAL translation.

“Is saying to her the Jesus I AM the one talking to you.”

Now, when we compare Scripture with Scripture we know from Deuteronomy 18:15-22 that Jesus is that “PROPHET” that Yahweh the Father PROPHESIED to raise up from among the people. And we know from the Scriptures that Yahweh the Father put HIS word in the mouth of Jesus. So then, Jesus is saying that he himself IS the Messiah that was prophesied to come whom Yahweh the Father ANOINTED AND it is the Father IN me that is speaking to you AS His PROPHET and His Messiah. Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear can CLEARLY see that Jesus is saying that he is the MESSIAH in John 4:26 and NOT that Jesus is saying he is the Great I AM THAT I AM. Keep in mind that the writer in John chapter 4 is the SAME writer in John 8:24 and John 8:58 the two famous Oneness and Trinitarian verses of Scripture taken OUT of their CONTEXT.

Then in John 6:69, the Apostle Peter declares that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF the Living God who Jesus called the FATHER three times in John 4:21-23.

John 6:69.  

“And we believe and are sure that you are that Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Let us read this same passage of Scripture from the gospel of Matthew because I want you to see that it was Yahweh the Father who REVEALED this TRUTH to the Apostle Peter and to us as well that Jesus is the CHRIST, the SON OF the living God.

Please read Matthew 16:13-18.

“When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I the Son of man am? 

14.  And they said Some say that you are John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 

15.  He said unto them, But whom say you that I AM? 

16.  And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son OF THE living God. 

17.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: FOR (Or BECAUSE) flesh and blood has NOT REVEALED it unto you, (That I am the Messiah, the ANOINTED of God who was prophesied to be the Savior, the SON OF the Living God) but my Father which is in heaven. (He has REVEALED this TRUTH to you that I am the MESSIAH and that Yahweh is my FATHER)

18.  And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock (Or REVELATION of the TRUTH that comes from Yahweh the Father that I am the Christ, the Son of the Living God) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” 

And Christians have been martyred by their OWN brothers and sisters in the Lord who were following a wrong spirit for DEFENDING this TRUTH revealed to Peter. And when I share this TRUTH with Trinitarian Christians I can see that “ANGER” of that wrong evil spirit that rises up in them. I have had two wonderful dear brothers in our Lord Jesus get right in my face nose to nose and scream at me the words, “You mean to tell me that you do NOT believe in the doctrine of the Trinity?” And could see their faces turn red and the juggler vain in their neck throbbing with anger because I did not believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. That anger is not righteous anger. They were angry because I rejected the doctrine of the Trinity and by my rejecting their doctrine of the Trinity is telling them that they are WRONG in what they believe. I realize that no one likes to hear that they are wrong but you do not have to get angry about being wrong or even told that you are wrong when you are right. 

Now, there is absolutely no doubt that the Bible itself clearly teaches us that there is but ONE God. And I personally believe that the ONE and ONLY TRUE God is ONE God in ONE person. And that ONE person in the ONLY true God is the Father ALONE. But yet at the same time, the Bible ALSO teaches us that there are TWO separate persons or beings who are called God. So HOW do we reconcile this apparent contradiction in God’s word? SIMPLE, the word “God” is a TITLE. There are many who are CALLED Gods but to us, as Christians, there is only ONE God EVEN the FATHER.

Please read 1 Corinthians 8:5,6.

“For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in the earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 

6.  But to us, there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND ONE Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” 

And this CLEAR DISTINCTION between the Father as being the ONE God and Jesus as being our ONE Lord is repeated in EVERY book of the New Testament from Acts to Revelation except for 3 John that does not even mention the Father or the Son. But yet, Christians throughout the history of the church of the firstborn have put forth many THEORIES of how TWO are called God in the Bible and yet the Bible also teaches us that God is ONE. And most every theory tries to make Jesus the Son of MAN to be Yahweh HIMSELF which contradicts many other verses in the Bible.

The TRUTH of the matter is that the word “God” is a TITLE that can be given to angels and even given to mere ordinary men. Yahweh gave this TITLE of God to Moses saying that he would make Moses a God to Pharaoh. But this did not make Moses be one and the self-same being as Yahweh. Satan is called the God of this world and we know that Satan is NOT Yahweh.

My main point is that Jesus is the Son of MAN who has THE Almighty God Yahweh the Father who is OVER him. In other words, Jesus is indeed called God by his God and Father AFTER the CROSS. And the prophecy says that Jesus shall be called God of the whole Earth in the world to come. Jesus SHALL be called the Mighty God and the Everlasting Father. But this does not make Jesus be THE ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the Father because that would make TWO Gods who are the ALMIGHTY. And that is IMPOSSIBLE because the very meaning of the word “ALMIGHTY” is that there are NO other Gods OVER the ONE God who is called the ALMIGHTY God.

In other words, the mere FACT that Jesus has the Father as HIS God over himself should be all the Biblical proof that any Christian should need to prove to his or herself once and for all time that Jesus is NOT the Father. And Jesus is NOT Yahweh Himself who ALONE is the Father.

Please read the following verses that state as FACT that Yahweh, Almighty God the Father is THE God over his Son Jesus. We will start with the verses where Jesus HIMSELF clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY that Almighty God the father is HIS God by saying, MY God and MY Father.

Matthew 27:46.  

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, MY God, MY God, why have YOU forsaken ME?”

There are hundreds of verses in the New Testament where Jesus, the Son of MAN, is clearly and plainly seen as a SEPARATE DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT PERSON from Almighty God the Father. This YOU and ME distinction BETWEEN the Son and the Father is emphatically stated as FACT throughout the entire New Testament.

Mark 15:34.  

“And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, MY God, MY God, why have YOU forsaken ME?”

John 20:17.  

“Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to MY Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto MY Father, and your Father; and to MY God, and your God.”

Here in the same verse Jesus clearly identifies the Father as being HIS God and HIS Father. Again, a single person can be both a father and a son at the same time but it is impossible for a son to be his OWN father.

Revelation 3:12.  

“Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of  MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him my NEW NAME.”

Here in this one verse, Jesus says FOUR times that Yahweh is HIS God. And please keep in mind that this is AFTER Yahweh the Father HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN AFTER the CROSS to GIVE Jesus a NEW NAME, which was PROPHESIED in the Old Testament for his ANOINTED servant to be CALLED or to be given the TITLE of God of the whole Earth. Please read the three-part study “WHEN DID JESUS BECOME GOD’S ETERNAL SON?-1” for a deeper understanding that it was AFTER the Son of MAN endured the CROSS that HIS God and Father HIGHLY EXALTED him and gave him a NEW NAME that is above every other name except for the NAME Yahweh, which is God’s NAME forever.

Please read Exodus 3:15 from the Holman Christian Standard translation.

“God also said to Moses, ‘Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is MY NAME forever’; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.”

So then, the NAME of the  ONE TRUE God of the OLD Testament is YAHWEH and that is HIS name FOREVER. Yahweh’s TITLE is God, but his NAME is Yahweh and there is only ONE Yahweh, as in, there is ONE BEING speaking here whose NAME is Yahweh. The prophecy does NOT say, Jesus, the God of your fathers...This is MY NAME forever? But yet, Oneness Christians argue that when we get to heaven we will only see ONE on the throne and His NAME will be JESUS. That is NOT what the Bible itself teaches us. Jesus was granted to sit on his God and Father’s throne BESIDE the Father whose name is Yahweh. The Father's name is Yahweh FOREVER and the Son OF God is named Jesus which means the salvation OF Yahweh. And AFTER the cross, the Son of MAN, Jesus was GIVEN a NEW NAME so that AT the NAME every knee will bow to Jesus and confess him as Lord TO the glory OF Almighty God the Father, according to Philippians 2:8-11. Please read the study “WHAT DOES PHILIPPIANS 2:6-8 TRULY MEAN?” But for now, let us stay focused on the question Is Jesus the FATHER?

Now in a similar way that we as humans NAME our children with our OWN name, so also did Yahweh NAME his FIRST begotten Son with a NEW NAME. And also, Yahweh GAVE the Son of MAN Jesus the TITLE of God prophesying that he SHALL be CALLED God of the whole Earth, the God of Israel, and the Mighty God. But these TITLES do not make Jesus to BE one and the self-same BEING as Yahweh the Father.

I cover all these verses of prophecy in some of my other studies, so if you want a deeper understanding of who Jesus was BEFORE the Virgin birth, who Jesus was DURING the days of his FLESH and who Jesus is NOW after being HIGHLY EXALTED, then please read the studies “WHEN DID JESUS BECOME GOD’S ETERNAL SON?-1”, “COLOSSIANS 1:15-17 WHO CREATED ALL THINGS?”, and “IS JESUS ALMIGHTY GOD?”, and “THE FIVE AGES OF JESUS!” This last study is a must-read for truly understanding WHO Jesus is in all FIVE ages. But for now, let us continue with this study in God’s word by taking a closer look at how the Apostles of Jesus took great care in showing us that the Son is NOT the Father.

Please read the following verses taken from each and every book of the New Testament except ONE single book, 3 John, the ONLY book in the entire New Testament, which does not teach us in simplicity that Jesus is NOT the Father and that Almighty God the Father is the God OF Jesus. And that is only because 3 John does not even mention the words Father, Son, Christ, or Jesus.

Acts 2:33.

         “Therefore, being BY the right hand OF God EXALTED, and having received OF the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.”

            Romans 1:7.

        “To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our FATHER, AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

            Again, God is identified as the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. Now some ONENESS believers may INTERPRET this verse to wrongly teach that Jesus IS the FATHER, but that does not make it so just because some church denomination INCORRECTLY interprets a verse in the Bible. We must interpret each verse in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God. And this next verse clearly teaches us that Jesus is NOT the FATHER, but rather that God is the Father OF Jesus.

            Romans 15:6.

        “That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, EVEN the FATHER OF our Lord Jesus Christ.”

            The Bible teaches us that we ALL ought to be speaking and teaching the SAME things. There should be NO divisions in the church of the firstborn, our brother Jesus the ANOINTED Son of MAN.

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being clearly identified as being our Lord and CHRIST. I want you to read the word “Christ” as ANOINTED. Christ is NOT the last name of Jesus. Christ is not even really a title given to the Son of MAN. But rather the word “Christ” means to be ANOINTED OF God and being anointed of God means that Almighty God the eternal Spirit DWELLS IN you. So then, begin seeing the TRUTH. that Almighty God the Father DWELT IN the Son of MAN Jesus to empower the MAN of God to overcome sin. Please read the study “JESUS THE CHRIST” for a deeper understanding of what it means for Jesus to be the CHRIST.

            1 Corinthians 1:3.

         “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our FATHER, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ.”

            Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being the Lord and the Christ. Also please notice that many of these greetings specifically state that they are from God our Father AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ which clearly teaches us that they are TWO SEPARATE beings and not one and the self same being as the Oneness believers dogmatically demand. So again the Bible itself teaches us that when the spoken word of PROPHECY became flesh that is when there was no longer ONE being. God is NOT a MAN and neither is he the Son of MAN. 

Now, I myself do not see how some Oneness believers are not seeing the TRUTH that Jesus is NOT the FATHER. I mean how can the word of TRUTH make it any CLEARER than this? The writer of this New Testament book of 1 Corinthians goes the extra mile, so to speak, to specifically state that he is sending greetings of grace, and peace FROM both Almighty God the Father AND that he is sending this greeting of grace and peace FROM the Lord Jesus anointed.

So again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being the Lord and the Christ, the ANOINTED of God the Father.

1 Corinthians 15:24.

“Then comes the end, when he (Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the FATHER) Shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, EVEN the Father; when He (The Father) shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being the SON OF God, who is our Lord and CHRIST.

 2 Corinthians 1:2.

“Grace be to you and peace FROM God our FATHER, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Now, in some other verses, there are some Oneness believers who wrongly interpret the conjunction “and” as meaning that God is both the Father and the Son at the same time, as in, Jesus is one and the selfsame being as the Father. But this verse, as well as some other verses, cannot possibly be TWISTED to mean that God is both the Father AND His very own Son at the SAME time. Once again as always, the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that the ONE God as being identified as the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. However, some ONENESS believers INTERPRET this verse to wrongly teach that Jesus IS the FATHER, but that does not make it so just because some church denomination INCORRECTLY interprets verses in the Bible.

The writer goes out of his way to make sure that his words are clearly understood that he is greeting them with the grace and peace FROM BOTH the father and His Son. So again my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being the Lord Jesus Christ. So to all my Oneness brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, I implore you to read this verse with your eyes OPEN so you will clearly see that Jesus, the SON OF God is clearly a SEPARATE person from Almighty God the Father and that they are TWO DIFFERENT beings.

2 Corinthians 1:3.

“Blessed be God, EVEN the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”

Again, God is clearly identified as the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. Almighty God the FATHER is being identified as the Father OF our Lord Jesus the CHRIST along with Almighty God Yahweh the Father being identified as the Father of mercies and also as the God of all comfort.

2 Corinthians 11:3.

“The God and Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knows that I lie not.”

In other words, Yahweh is not ONLY the Father OF Jesus, but Yahweh is ALSO THE GOD OF Jesus. I mean how can anyone who is honest with themselves and with Almighty God read these clear, plain, and simple words any other way?

So again Yahweh, the ONE true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST, the ANOINTED Son of MAN, whom the GOD and the Father OF our Lord Jesus highly exalted to become a God by his God and Father to rule and reign FOR his God and Father in the world to come. 

Galatians 1:1.

“Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, AND God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)”

Again, to my Oneness readers, I implore you to correctly interpret the word “AND” here as being the conjunction joining TWO SEPARATE persons and NOT wrongly interpret this verse to be saying that Jesus IS God the FATHER. We must interpret every verse in the LIGHT of ALL the verses in the Bible. So keep reading the CONTEXT of Galatians 1:1 comparing your Oneness doctrine with verse 3.

Galatians 1:3.

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, AND from our Lord Jesus Christ,

Again, God is clearly identified as the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

 Galatians 1:4.

“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the WILL OF God and our Father:”

It was not always the WILL of the Son of MAN Jesus to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the world. Jesus has a DIFFERENT WILL that he had to crucify FIRST through prayer and SUFFERING TEMPTATION. But thanks be to God that the Son of MAN, who THROUGH the POWER of the ANOINTING, the ETERNAL Spirit DWELLING IN him, told his OWN will to shut up and yield to his God and Father’s WILL saying, nevertheless Father not MY will but Father, YOUR WILL be done.

Please read the study “THE HUMAN JESUS!” for a deeper understanding that Jesus was TRULY a HUMAN being, the Son of MAN, who was ANOINTED with power from on high. And it was THROUGH the power of the eternal Holy Spirit DWELLING IN him that the Son of MAN was empowered to endure the cross for us his fellow man, his fellow servant, his brothers and sisters who will one day soon become JOINT HEIRS WITH him in the world to come.

Ephesians 1:2.

“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. Also, for the “Oneness” believers, all through these verses, we clearly see TWO different SEPARATE beings or persons. The words FROM God our Father AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ cannot be interpreted to mean ONE being. Clearly, the Bible ITSELF teaches us that we MUST believe in BOTH the Father, AND the SON.

Ephesians 1:3.

“Blessed be the God AND Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. In this verse, we ALSO see the writer of Ephesians identifying the Father OF Jesus as being the GOD OF Jesus as well. So then, the ALMIGHTY is BOTH God AND Father OF Jesus.

Ephesians 1:17.

“That THE God OF our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”

The subject of this verse is THE God OF Jesus, speaking of Almighty God the FATHER, as being the Father of glory, who gives us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Yahweh ALONE is the Father of GLORY who he prophesied that he would not share with another other than his elect, his chosen servant, the Son of MAN whom he himself would ANOINT to be his Messiah. And who GLORIFIED the Son of MAN with his glory to be having the divine nature of immortality in himself even as the Father of glory has always had immortality in himself. It was Yahweh the Father who MADE Jesus be both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 2:26.

Ephesians 4:6.

“ONE God and FATHER of ALL, who is ABOVE ALL, and through all, and in you all.”

 In this verse, the writer of the book of Ephesians clearly and plainly identifies the ALMIGHTY the God, who is ABOVE ALL as being the ONE God called the FATHER. So simply ask yourself if the Bible ITSELF teaches us anywhere that the Father is ABOVE his SON Jesus?

Now if you are honest with yourself and with Almighty God, then you will agree that Yahweh ALONE is the ONE God, who is the Father of all, who is ABOVE all including being ABOVE his Son Jesus whom he highly exalted to be above everyone else EXCEPT for HIS God and Father Yahweh who MADE the Son of MAN be both Lord and Christ.

Ephesians 5:20.

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”

Again, God is clearly identified as the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

Ephesians 6:23.

“Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

Philippians 1:2.

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Philippians 2:11.

“And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, TO the glory OF God the Father.”

In this verse, the writer teaches us that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and NOT  confess that Jesus is THE ALMIGHTY YAHWEH HIMSELF. So once again, THE ALMIGHTY God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. Also, notice that it is TO the GLORY OF the FATHER that every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord.

Philippians 4:20.

“Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

 In this verse, we see only the FATHER as being God. I fully realize that in Hebrews 1:8 Jesus is CALLED God by his God and Father, but this does not mean that Jesus is THE ONE TRUE and only ALMIGHTY God who ALONE is the Father because there cannot be TWO Gods who are the ALMIGHTY. For you see in the very next verse Hebrews 1:9 we can clearly see that there are indeed TWO Gods.

There is Yahweh the Father who is THE GOD OF his God whom he highly exalted to become a God to rule FOR him while he takes a day off to rest in the SEVENTH 1000 year long DAY of the Lord.

Colossians 1:2.

“To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

 Colossians 1:3.

“We give thanks to God and the Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,”

Again, this verse is saying that God is the GOD OF Jesus and the FATHER OF Jesus, which agrees with the rest of God's word. Now, almost all Trinitarians fully understand the TRUTH that Yahweh is the Father OF Jesus but not all Trinitarians have seen the TRUTH that Yahweh is ALSO THE GOD OF Jesus as well.

Yahweh is the ONE TRUE and ONLY God, who is the ALMIGHTY, the HIGHEST God over all other Gods including being THE God OVER Jesus. Almighty God the FATHER who ALONE is Yahweh is the creator of all things and the SOURCE of all life.

1 Thessalonians 1:1.

“Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father AND in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

1 Thessalonians 1:3.

“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

1 Thessalonians 3:1.

“Now God HIMSELF and our Father, AND our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.”

Here in this verse, we see the writer clearly identifying the ONE true God HIMSELF as being the FATHER and again identifying Jesus as being both Lord and CHRIST.

1 Thessalonians 3:13.

“To the end, he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, EVEN our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

Again, God is clearly identified as the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

 2 Thessalonians 1:1.

“Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ:”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

2 Thessalonians 1:2.

“Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ.

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

 2 Thessalonians 2:16.

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ HIMSELF, AND God, EVEN our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,”

 In this verse, the writer seems to go out of his way to clearly identify Jesus HIMSELF as being Lord and Christ and EVEN the FATHER as being the Almighty God.

1 Timothy 1:2.

“Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father AND Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Once again our Lord is identified as being Jesus Christ and our God as being clearly identified as the FATHER.

2 Timothy 1:2.

“To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

Titus 1:4.

“To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

Philemon 1:3.

“Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

James 1:27.

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

 James 3:9.

“Therewith bless we God, EVEN the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.”

In this verse like 1 Corinthians 8:6, the writer EMPHASIZES God being SOLELY identified as being the FATHER ALONE that he says EVEN the FATHER.

1 Peter 1:2.

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”

1 Peter 1:3.

“Blessed be the God AND Father OF our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

Here again, the Almighty is being clearly identified as the God OF Jesus as well as the Father OF Jesus. And Jesus is identified as Lord and Christ, the ANOINTED OF God. Now you would think that Trinitarians, who KNOW that Almighty God is the FATHER OF Jesus understand and KNOW that this means that Jesus is NOT the FATHER, that they would, in the SAME way, know and understand that Jesus is NOT THE ONE TRUE and only ALMIGHTY God who is always clearly identified as being the FATHER.

In other words, you would think that Trinitarians would SEE and understand in the SAME way that they have come to know and understand by the words “God and Father OF Jesus” that Jesus is NOT the Father, that they would ALSO see and understand by the SAME words “GOD AND Father OF Jesus” that Jesus is NOT GOD, as in Jesus is not THE ONE TRUE and only ALMIGHTY God who ALONE is Yahweh the FATHER.

 2 Peter 1:17.

“For he (Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the FATHER) received FROM God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved SON, in whom I am well pleased.”

Jesus is NOT the SAME God FROM whom he receives. Yes, Jesus is God, but ALMIGHTY God who IS the FATHER is THE GOD OF his SON Jesus. They are NOT one and the SELF-SAME BEING. They are two separate PERSONS and they are TWO separate BEINGS, which makes them be TWO SEPARATE GODS where the father is THE ONE TRUE God who is OVER and ABOVE his Son Jesus who He Himself HIGHLY EXALTED and gave the NAME or TITLE of God to rule and reign FOR him in the world to come.

1 John 3:1.

“Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knows us not because it knew him not.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST.

Nowhere in the entire Bible will you find the words, “God the Son”. When the Bible says, God the Father it means that God IS THE Father and NOT that God is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

If so be that the very apostles of Jesus believed that God is a Trinity God then they failed miserably to TEACH us that God is a Trinity. In all these verses that we just read, the writers of the New Testament could have just as easily STATED as FACT that God is a Trinity by sending greeting to the churches saying something like, grace and peace from our ONE God which is the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but yet we do NOT find ANY wording in the entire Bible even resembling the Trinitarian teaching that one true God is a Trinity.

Neither does the Bible ITSELF ever state as a FACT that Jesus IS the FATHER. Out of some 31,000 verses pf Scripture in the Bible, Yahweh, the God OF Jesus, is always clearly identified as being the FATHER and only ONE verse of prophecy in Isaiah 9:6 prophesies that the Messiah SHALL be CALLED the Everlasting Father by NAME or by TITLE WHEN the government shall be LAID upon his shoulders in the world yet to come. The literal meaning of “everlasting Father” means the father of the world to come. It means that Jesus was GIVEN the power and the authority AFTER the CROSS to JUDGE the world and GIVE eternal life to whomsoever he judges to be worthy to receive eternal life. For all the verses that prove what I just said, please read the study “ISAIAH 9:6 WHAT DOES EVERLASTING FATHER TRULY MEAN?”

2 John 1:3.

“Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son OF the Father, in truth and love.”

Again, God is clearly identified as being the FATHER and Jesus as being Lord and CHRIST. And notice that these greetings are from BOTH the Father AND FROM his SON Jesus, the Christ.

2 John 1:9.

“Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has BOTH the Father AND the Son.

In this verse, we clearly see that we must, without fail, believe in BOTH Almighty God the Father AND in his SON Jesus. Now to ME, if so be that the word of God truly taught the doctrine of the trinity, then this verse would have been the ideal place to ADD the Holy Spirit and clearly teach us that we must believe in all THREE rather than believing in only BOTH the Father and the Son. Please read the study called “THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON!” and the study “THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER!” for a deeper understanding that in truth the Bible only speaks of TWO different persons and NOT three different persons as the doctrine of the trinity dogmatically demands there to be THREE persons in one divine being called the ALMIGHTY God.

Jude 1:1.

“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, AND preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:”

Again, the FATHER is identified as being God.

Revelation 1:6.

“And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

And if so be that the doctrine of Oneness was truly taught in the Bible ITSELF, then those who wrote the New Testament missed their golden opportunity to clearly and plainly teach us that Jesus IS the FATHER. I mean the writers of the New Testament should have never used such CLEAR undeniable language to plainly show us the DISTINCTION between the Father AND his SON.

I mean WHY did the writers of the New Testament ALWAYS clearly identify the FATHER as being THE God who is OVER his SON Jesus? Could it be that THEY knew and understood perfectly that Jesus was NOT Yahweh the ONE TRUE and only ALMIGHTY God?

How is it that some Christians believe the man-made TRADITIONS of the so-called “church fathers” OVER what the Bible ITSELF teaches? Probably because they do not read and study the word of TRUTH for themselves without trying to prove their man-made doctrines and traditions of men which their church denomination taught to them. 

In the four gospels, Jesus HIMSELF identifies the one TRUE God as being the FATHER. Please read John 17:3 where Jesus is praying to his God and Father the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God.

John 17:3.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU the ONLY TRUE God, AND Jesus Christ, whom YOU have SENT.”

In other words, Jesus is praying TO his God and Father for us to know that the FATHER alone or ONLY is the ONE TRUE God, AND also to know that Jesus was SENT, as in, the Son of MAN, was COMMISSIONED BY the ONE and ONLY TRUE God. The literal meaning of the Greek word translated as SENT means COMMISSIONED. And the word commission means that God gave his Son power and authority to accomplish the task of doing all his God and Father's WILL.

In 1 John 4:9-15 we can see in verse 9 that God sent or COMMISSIONED his only begotten SON and in verse 14 we can see that the FATHER sent his SON which again clearly shows us that God is the FATHER alone, as in, the Father ALONE is the ONLY true God.

1 John 4:9-15.

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God SENT his only begotten SON into the world, that we might live through him.

10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (It was the ANOINTED Son of MAN who was lifted up on the cross. Please read the study “THE MAN JESUS CHRIST!”)

11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12. No man has seen God at any time. (And clearly, many men have indeed seen Jesus) If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us.

13. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. (Here we know that God and His OWN Eternal Spirit are the one and the self-same eternal divine being.)

14. And we have seen and do testify that the Father SENT the Son to be the Savior of the world. (Again, the word SENT means COMMISSIONED as in God ANOINTED Jesus with the Holy Spirit and POWER to overcome sin)

15. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the SON OF God, God dwells in him, and he in God.”

Here we see that God dwells in us and we dwell in God and that does NOT make us BE the Father. We are being conformed into the IMAGE of Jesus and that does NOT make is BE Jesus. John 17:16-26 teaches us that we will be ONE with Jesus and the Father EVEN AS the Father and Jesus are ONE and that does NOT make us BE Jesus or Yahweh the Father. So all the Oneness INTERPRETATIONS of the verses that SEEM to be saying that Jesus is the Father are NOT correct sound Biblical interpretations.

Please notice that nowhere in the word of God are we ever clearly and plainly taught that we must believe that Jesus IS the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God YAHWEH HIMSELF? But rather, we are clearly and plainly taught that we are to believe and CONFESS that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God the Father, who SENT his SON out into the world to be the atonement for our sins.

So then, the ONLY book in the New Testament that does not clearly and plainly identify the one true and only Almighty God as being the FATHER is 3 John which does not even mention either the Father or his Son Jesus. But the same writer also wrote 1st and 2nd John which does clearly identify the FATHER as being GOD.

Now that we have clearly established that the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, clearly and plainly identifies ONLY the FATHER as being God and THE God OF his SON Jesus the Christ, we can now move on to clearly establish that the GODHEAD is speaking ONLY of Almighty God the FATHER ALONE and NOT three persons in the Godhead.

Acts 17:28, 29.

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also HIS offspring.

29. For as much then as we are the offspring of God, (Speaking of Almighty God the FATHER as we have just learned in this study in God's word) we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.”

The word “Godhead” refers back to the word “God”, which we KNOW is speaking of the FATHER alone and NOT the SON OF Almighty God the Father, because in the same CONTEXT in verse 31 this same God or GODHEAD is clearly shown to be THE God who ORDAINED the MAN Jesus to judge the world.

Please read Acts:17:31.

“Because HE (Speaking of the UNKNOWN God whom Paul is teaching the heathens as being the CREATOR of ALL things who) has appointed a day, in the which HE (Yahweh, the Father) will judge the world in righteousness BY that MAN (Referring to the Son of MAN, Jesus) whom HE (Yahweh the Father, the ONE GODHEAD) has ORDAINED; whereof HE (Yahweh the Godhead) has given assurance unto all men, in that HE (Yahweh the Father the Godhead) has raised him (The Son of MAN whom Yahweh, the Godhead, ORDAINED to judge the world by his RIGHTEOUSNESS) from the dead.”

So then, Luke, the writer of the book of Acts, is merely pointing out that we are never to think of God or the Godhead, the SUPREME DIVINE being, as some sculpture, artwork, or image made of stone, wood, gold or silver. And when you read the CONTEXT where Paul is teaching the pagans in Athens that their UNKNOWN GOD is the God of the Bible who created all things you will find the SINGULAR use of HIS offspring and not THEIR offspring in Acts 17:28.

Trinitarians like to use the PLURAL of Elohim in Genesis where God says let us make man in OUR image, but then they do NOT point out the SINGULAR use of God and HE made man in His own image. Please read the study “GENESIS 1:26 LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE!”

Now let us take a look at Romans 1:20, which teaches us that all created things are made from the UNSEEN or from that which is  INVISIBLE, which is SPIRIT or Almighty God HIMSELF, because God IS SPIRIT and INVISIBLE.

Romans 1:20.

“For the invisible things OF Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are MADE (In other words, what was ONCE or at one time was INVISIBLE was CREATED or made to BE visible or material tangible things of creation that were created FROM and BY the eternal INVISIBLE God or Godhead speaking of the FATHER of ALL), even HIS (SINGULAR) eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

The spoken WORD or SAYING of God was MADE flesh and dwelt among us to SHOW or give to us the UNDERSTANDING of the eternal power of the GODHEAD. God MANIFESTED HIMSELF, his true character of LOVE and mercy by becoming or being MADE FLESH. Please read the study “WHAT DOES GOD INCARNATE TRULY MEAN?”

Another verse that helps interpret this verse and the Godhead is Hebrews 11:3 that clearly teaches us that the material things of creation were made or created from that which is NOT SEEN or from the INVISIBLE.

Hebrews 11:3.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, (Speaking of the SPOKEN word of YAHWEH the FATHER of ALL) so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

In other words, the things that are SEEN were NOT made from that which is SEEN, but rather all creation came out from the INVISIBLE divine supreme being, which the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible always clearly and plainly identifies as being the FATHER alone.

The literal translation of Romans 1:20-25 has the article “THE” clearly identifying God as THE God, which always speaks of THE ALMIGHTY God, who alone is the FATHER as being the CREATOR alone. ALL things that were created by the spoken word that CAME OUT FROM the MOUTH of God SPEAKING them INTO existence where they never existed before EXCEPT WITHIN THE God as the IMAGE he desired to bring forth into existence. Please read the studies called “DID GOD CREATE ALL THINGS OUT OF NOTHING?”, “COLOSSIANS 1:16  CREATE ALL THINGS?”, and  “EPHESIANS 3:9-11 DID JESUS CREATE ALL THINGS?”

The third and only other time we see the word “Godhead” in the Bible is found in Colossians 2:9 where we are clearly and plainly taught that the fullness OF the Godhead DWELT IN the SON OF Almighty God as opposed to Jesus actually BEING the fullness of the Godhead HIMSELF being fully one and the self-same being as THE ALMIGHTY God YAHWEH in the flesh and fully a man at the same time. Nowhere in the Bible ITSELF will you find Jesus being called the SECOND person of the Godhead.

Colossians 2:9.

“For IN him DWELLS all the FULLNESS  OF the Godhead bodily.”

This is what the doctrine of CHRIST means. The whole word of God clearly and plainly teaches us that Almighty God the Father, the sole divine supreme being the creator of all DWELT IN his Son Jesus to EMPOWER his Son to do all the will of his God and Father the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER of ALL. But it was AFTER the CROSS that it pleased the Father that all the FULNESS of Deity should dwell in the now GLORIFIED Son of man BODILY by giving him a new glorified IMMORTAL BODY of flesh and bones. Now let us read what Jesus himself teaches us about HIS God and Father in Matthew 4:10.

Matthew 4:10b.

“…for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”

Jesus saw the Father as his God and the ONLY one to worship and serve. Jesus would not be tempted to worship another. Jesus is NOT saying to the Devil that he himself is the Lord God and for Satan to bow down and worship the Son of MAN, Jesus. According to the PROPHECIES in Psalm 22:22, Jesus will praise and worship Yahweh the Father in the midst of the congregation.

Psalm 22:22.  

“I will declare YOUR name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise YOU.”

I Corinthians 8:4b says.

“…for there is NONE OTHER God but ONE.”

Almighty God, who ALONE is the FATHER is God alone and there is NONE OTHER God but the FATHER who is the ONLY TRUE God, the SOURCE of all life. In other words, every time you read the word “God” in the New Testament it is almost ALWAYS referring to the FATHER as being God. There are a few exceptions. For example, the verses found in Hebrews 1:8,9 where the Father calls his SON Jesus God in verse 8 and then calls Himself THE GOD OF his SON whom He Himself highly exalted to become a God AFTER His HUMAN Son become obedient to all the will of his God and Father. I was the ANOINTED Son of MAN, Jesus who suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the whole world so that whosoever BELIEVES on the SON OF God might be saved.

For a deeper understanding of Jesus becoming a God to be under his God and Father to rule and reign at his side for a 1000 years please read the studies “OUR GOD IS ONE GOD IN ONE PERSON!” and “IS JESUS ALMIGHTY GOD?”. But for now, let us continue laying the FOUNDATION of the Bible ITSELF teaching us that there is but ONE God and NONE OTHER God but ONE. And in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God that means that the ONE TRUE God is one God in ONE person who ALONE is the FATHER. The Son OF the one true God was GIVEN the TITLE of God AFTER the cross. Jesus was MADE Lord BY His God and Father after the Son of MAN learned obedience to do all the Will of his God even to die on the cross.

I Timothy 2:5.

“For there is ONE God, and ONE mediator between God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus;”

Again, we see that there is but ONE God which the Bible always clearly identifies as being the FATHER. In this verse, we also see that there is only ONE mediator BETWEEN God and men, and this mediator is the MAN Christ Jesus. A mediator stands BETWEEN two persons. A mediator UNDERSTANDS both sides. Jesus understood God’s true character FROM the Scriptures. And Jesus understood human nature because Jesus was FULLY HUMAN.

When you read the new Testament pay attention to just how many times Jesus is referred to as the Son of MAN or you can read the studies “JESUS THE SON OF MAN!” and “THE MAN JESUS CHRIST!” But for now, I want you to know that it was NECESSARY for our atonement to be FULLY a HUMAN being who was tempted in all points just like we are tempted in order to become our MEDIATOR between God and mankind.

The Bible says that by one MAN sin entered into the world and by one MAN came the resurrection to be judged. And John 5:27 teaches us that for the very reason of Jesus being the Son of MAN his God and Father GAVE his SON Jesus all authority and power to JUDGE mankind and the fallen angels.

John 5:27.

“And has GIVEN him authority to execute judgment ALSO, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”

In verse 26, the Son of MAN, Jesus was GIVEN eternal life to be having in himself even as the Father has always possessed immortality in Himself as the SOURCE of all life. AND Yahweh the Father ALSO committed all JUDGMENT unto the NOW HIGHLY EXALTED Son of MAN, Jesus so THAT both the angels and the humans will HONOR God’s Son even as we honor Yahweh the Father.

Again, the word “mediator” carries the meaning of making peace between God and mankind. You see sin separated mankind from God and Jesus was chosen by his God and Father as the means to reconcile mankind back to himself. The word of God says GOODWILL toward men, for unto us is a child born. God could have destroyed mankind and created something else, another species, but he chose to create in us a new heart to BECOME His NEW CREATION. But first, God needed or rather chose ONE MAN to be the FORERUNNER and the captain of our salvation. God DEVISED this PLAN of salvation from the foundation of the world. Now, some Christians have not discerned that the foundation of the world is NOT in the eternity past, but rather, the foundation of the world refers to God RESTORING the earth to be habitable once again. So then, the TRUTH of the whole matter is that Yahweh sent His SPOKEN word or SAYING down out of heaven to the earth BY his Angel Gabriel in the fullness of time to SPEAK to the Virgin Mary. And when the Virgin Mary believed and received God's SPOKEN “LOGOS”, a CHILD was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary to be BORN the Son of MAN who would be called the SON of the HIGHEST or the SON OF the ALMIGHTY God whom the Bible calls the FATHER. God THEN sent his Son Jesus, the Son of MAN out into the world to become a ransom for us to then become the mediator between God and mankind.

All the way through the word of God there is found a clear distinction between Almighty God, the ONE true and only wise God and his Son Jesus, the Son of MAN. The word of God also shows us that there is UNITY between the Father and the Son, but NOT in the sense that they are ONE and the SELF-SAME being as some falsely teach. For you see, John 17:16-26 CLEARLY teaches us that WE will be made ONE with Jesus and with the Father EVEN AS the father and Jesus are ONE.

In Revelation 5:1-14, John wept because no MAN was FOUND to be WORTHY to open the seals. And the angel told John to weep not for the Lamb was FOUND WORTHY.

Please read Revelation 5:1-14.

“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne (Revelation chapter 4 teaches us that the ONE sitting on the throne is Yahweh, Almighty God the Father. So then, in the right hand of Yahweh the Father, the one sitting on the throne there is) a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

2.  And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is WORTHY to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

3.  And no MAN in heaven, nor in the earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

4.  And I wept much because no MAN was found WORTHY to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. (Simply ask yourself the question “WHY were they looking for a MAN if so be that we are dead in our sins IF Almighty God HIMSELF did not die on the cross?” They were NOT looking for Almighty God to open the book. They were NOT looking for an angel to open the book. They were NOT even looking for the Son of God to open the book. But rather, they were looking for a MAN who was found WORTHY among the HUMANS to open the book. And they FOUND that MAN, Jesus)

5.  And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has PREVAILED to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (In other words, the only MAN who lived without sin was the Son of MAN Jesus. The ROOT of David is Jesse and the ROOTS of Jesse are the forefathers and offspring of father Abraham, the FIRST Hebrew chosen by God to be a follower of the creator)

6.  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, STOOD a Lamb as it had been slain, (If the Son of MAN would have obeyed his OWN WILL and had NOT been SLAIN then the Son of MAN would not have PREVAILED. But the Son of MAN was SLAIN as an INNOCENT MAN, and thus, the Son of MAN was found WORTHY to open the seals. Also, we see that Yahweh was SITTING and the Lamb slain was STANDING) having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7.  And he  (The Lamb, the Son of MAN slain, the only MAN found WORTHY) came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8.  And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

9.  And they sung a NEW song, saying, You are WORTHY to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: FOR (Or BECAUSE) you were SLAIN, and have redeemed us TO God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (The Son of MAN Jesus was FOUND to be WORTHY BECAUSE the Son of MAN was SLAIN as an innocent MAN. Yes, I am fully aware of Oneness and Trinitarian INTERPRETATION of Acts 20:28 that claim Yahweh Himself purchased the church with His OWN blood. That verse simply means that blood OF His OWN HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus. And YES, I am also fully aware of Zechariah 12:10 where Yahweh is speaking and He says “...they will look upon ME whom they have PIERCED…” Jesus said whatsoever you do to the least of these my brethren you do to ME. So Yahweh is saying to Israel that when they pierced His human Son Jesus it was the same as if they pierced Yahweh Himself. Jesus said that he came OUT FROM God and NOT that God manifested Himself to become the Son of MAN, Jesus. The truth of the whole matter is that Jesus is the WORKMANSHIP OF Yahweh. It was Yahweh alone and by Himself who PERFORMED and is yet PERFORMING His OWN word of PROPHECY that came forth OUT FROM His OWN MOUTH to be FULFILLED. Plain and simple. Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of Yahweh’s PROPHECY)

10.  And (You Jesus, because of what you did on the CROSS, you) have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

11.  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12.  Saying with a loud voice, WORTHY is the Lamb that was SLAIN to RECEIVE power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. (BECAUSE the SON of MAN was SLAIN as an INNOCENT MAN he was found WORTHY to RECEIVE all that God had promised him in the Scriptures and by the Holy Spirit)

13.  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sits upon the throne, AND unto the Lamb forever and ever. (There are TWO separate distinctly DIFFERENT persons or beings in heaven my dear Oneness brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus. And those TWO SEPARATE persons are the NOW highly exalted Son of MAN who was GLORIFIED by the Father with the honor of being at the right-hand side of Yahweh the Father AFTER the CROSS)

14.  And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that lives forever and ever.”

And to all my Trinitarian brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, it was the ANOINTED Son of MAN who was SLAIN who BECAME A God under and subject TO his God and Father who CREATED him. Jesus was truly and fully a HUMAN being void of any divine nature UNTIL the Son of MAN was HIGHLY EXALTED by his God and Father to be GIVEN the divine nature of immortality as the JOY set before the Son of MAN to endure the cross.

There are NO Scriptures to support this man-made so-called TWO nature doctrine which did not even exist until the FOURTH century. Jesus BECAME Deity AFTER the CROSS. That is WHEN it please God that the FULLNESS of the Godhead should dwell in him BODILY. Below is a complete list of all the studies that I have which show WHY I no longer believe in the doctrine of the Trinity and why I can NEVER believe in the doctrine of Oneness. I assure you that every verse that SEEMS to be saying that Jesus pre-existed in eternity past has another meaning that does NOT contradict any other verses of Scripture in the entire Bible.
