Now, to me, it makes no sense for there to be PROPHECIES in the Scriptures such as Isaiah 9:6,7 that “foretell” of a future event of the Son of God, IF God’s Son ALREADY existed. I mean, why would Almighty God give us a PROPHECY in the Bible ITSELF “foretelling” of a FUTURE Son, IF God’s Son already existed in the eternity past as Trinitarian Christians claim. Thing about the question “WHY would God give us PROPHECIES such as 2 Samuel 7:14 that was quoted in Hebrews 1:5 saying, I WILL BE a Father to him and he SHALL BE a son to Me”, IF the “Word” in John 1:1 was a literal pre-existing Son of God in the eternity past as Trinitarian Christians CLAIM. Please understand that there are OTHER true born-again Christians who are NOT Trinitarian Christians. And the reason that we are NOT Trinitarian Christians is that it makes no sense for the Son of God to have already been God in the eternity past, seeing that God Himself gave a PROPHECY through Hs prophet Isaiah that His Messiah would be being GIVEN the NAME Mighty God. And that NAME, the Mighty God would be given to the CHILD born and the Son GIVEN at the TIME WHEN the government of the world to COME is laid upon his shoulders. And it also makes no sense to Biblical Unitarian Christians for God to MAKE the Son of MAN, Jesus, Lord over the EARTH, IF the Son of God always existed in the eternity past as the Lord God, the Almighty. And thus, IF that was the case, then the Son as Lord in the eternity past would have ruled over the entire Universe and not just over the earth. In other words, it is not logical to say that the Son was HIGHLY EXALTED, IF the Son went from being Lord over the entire Universe to be MADE Lord ONLY over the earth and ONLY for 1000 years. What I want you to see is that it makes no sense for Jesus to rule over the earth for ONLY 1000 years, IF he had always been the Lord God Almighty Himself in the eternity past to rule over the entire Universe. For you see, 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 and Micah 4:6-8 clearly teach us that Jesus will ONLY rule for 1000 years called the FIRST dominion and the world to come. And then after the Millennial reign of Jesus has ENDED, so will his being Lord and God over the earth come to and END and Yahweh will rule HENCEFORTH forever, according to the prophecy in Micah 4:6-8. Please read 1 Corinthians 15:28 from the Message Bible. “When everything and everyone is finally under God's rule, the Son will STEP DOWN, taking his place with everyone else, showing that God's rule is absolutely comprehensive - a perfect ending!” In other words, the Son will COMMIT the ruling of the Kingdom on the earth BACK into the hands of his God and Father after the last enemy death is destroyed in the lake of fire. So then, it makes FAR more sense for Almighty God to have created Himself a HUMAN at FIRST whom he would make to be His Savior. And then, God HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN to be MADE both Lord AND Savior after the cross and resurrection. And thus, God fulfilled the PROPHECY in Psalm 110:1 and made the Son of MAN to become Lord to be God’s faithful WITNESS. And then, Jesus will make us lords over the earth for 1000 years, in order for us to also be Yahweh’s WITNESSES to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels. And after God judges the world BY the MAN whom He ORDAINED and raised from the DEAD, according to Acts 17:29-31, the Lord and the lords over the earth will step down from ruling so that the FATHER can be all and in all. So then, for a so-called pre-existing Lord over the entire Universe, who was supposedly equal with the Father in every way, to come down from heaven to be made LOWER than the angels to NOW, FOREVER be under and subject to his God and Father, does NOT sound like being HIGHLY EXALTED! And thus, for Trinitarian Christians to argue that God the Son STRIPPED himself of all his glory, power, and divine nature of immortality in order to incarnate himself in human form, but REMAIN the fully Amighty God, does NOT make logical sense in the LIGHT of Acts 2:36 and Philippians 2:8-11. For you see, HOW can an Almighty God be HIGHLY EXALTED? In other words, HOW can being HIGHLY EXALTED mean to go from being the Almighty to NOW being UNDER and SUBJECT to Almighty God the Father? That makes no logical sense! In other words, does it seem LOGICAL to you for a so-called God the Son, who supposedly was EQUAL in every way to God the Father, to lay aside his GLORY and power to become a SERVANT of his God and Father to FOREVER be God’s SERVANT? And even if you could rationalize that first step of a so-called pre-existing God the Son supposedly incarnating himself to become human, then how is it local to say that he REMAINED Almighty God at the SAME time supposedly having TWO natures, one divine and one human? I mean why would the Bible ITSELF say the word was made FLESH and also say during the days of his FLESH, IF Jesus was also fully divine at the SAME time during the days of his flesh. The sound Biblical meaning of the phrase “during the days of his FLESH” means that the child born of a woman was fully HUMAN during the days of his flesh, and then AFTER the cross and resurrection God MADE His HUMAN Son, Jesus, His Lord to JOIN his god and Father on his Father’s throne for 1000 years. Again, HOW is it logical to argue that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh, when the Bible ITSELF teaches us that the Son of MAN was HIGHLY EXALTED to rule FOR Almighty God in the NAME OF Almighty God ONLY over the earth and ONLY for 1000 years? Yes, I understand that Revelation 1:8 SEEMS to be saying that Jesus is the Almighty, but the CONTEXT clearly teaches us that the voice speaking is the voice of Yahweh, the Father, and NOT the voice of His now glorified Son of MAN, Jesus. Please read the studies called U-24. Revelation 1:8 I am ALPHA and OMEGA!, and U-7. Is Jesus ALMIGHTY God in the flesh? But the WHOLE word of Almighty God clearly teaches us that the Father is the God OF Jesus. And simple logic teaches us that an Almighty God cannot have another God over Himself. Otherwise, the God OVER that God would then be the Almighty God. So then, according to the Trinitarian interpretation of a God the Son coming down from heaven to take on human nature, makes no sense in the LIGHT of the whole word of Almighty God. When we read in Acts 2:36 that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was MADE both Lord and Christ AFTER the cross and resurrection, it makes no logical sense to argue that the Son always pre-existed in all eternity past as Lord by the right hand of the LORD. I mean, does going from being Lord over the entire Universe to being made Lord ONLY over the earth and ONLY for 1000 years sound like being HIGHLY EXALTED to you? Please read Acts 2:22-36, which is the very FIRST gospel message that was preached and three thousand people were saved and added to the church by the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:22-36. “You men of Israel, (AND you Christians who have never been taught the TRUTH of the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ) HEAR these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God DID by (Or THROUGH) him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know: 23. Him, (The HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus, according to John 3:14. John 8:28, and John 12:34) being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24. Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it. 25. For David speaks concerning him, (Or David spoke this as PROPHECY concerning the Messiah who was prophesied to come) I FORESAW (Or I RESTED in HOPE I set steadfast the hope of) the Lord always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that (Or in order that) I should not be moved: 26. THEREFORE, did my heart REJOICE, and my tongue was GLAD; moreover ALSO, my FLESH shall REST in HOPE: 27. Because You (PROMISED in your PROPHECY that You) will not leave my SOUL in hell, neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption. 28. You have made KNOWN to me the ways of life; (Or you have made KNOWN to me the road that leads to eternal life in Your presence) You SHALL make me full of JOY WITH YOUR countenance. (Or You O Father shall GLORIFY me WITH Your OWN SELF, the JOY that You SET before me to endure the cross, according to John 5:22-27, John 17:5 and Hebrews 12:2) 29. Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. 30. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, (Speaking of the Messiah being a descendent of King David after the FLESH) He (Or Almighty God PROPHESIED through David that God) would raise up Christ TO SIT on His throne; (Or resurrect His ANOINTED human Son to BE SEATED on his God the Father’s throne) 31. He (The prophet David) seeing this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32. This Jesus (The MAN approved by God) has God raised up, whereof we all are WITNESSES. (This is WHEN the Apostle John and the other Apostles and disciples of Jesus saw the GLORY, the GLORY as of the only BEGOTTEN Son FULL of JOY and truth, according to John 1:14. For you see, NONE of the Apostles even knew Jesus when he was BORN. But rather, it was after Jesus was baptized to be ANOINTED by God that Jesus dwelt AMONG them. So then, it was AFTER the cross and resurrection that Jesus BECAME the only begotten Son of God to be made God’s ETERNAL Son. Please read the three part study called O-14. When did Jesus Become God's Son? Part 1) 33. Therefore, being by the right hand of God EXALTED, and having RECEIVED of the Father the PROMISE of the Holy Ghost, he (The NOW GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, who was GIVEN all power and authority AFTER the cross and resurrection, according to Matthew 28:18, John 5:26,27, and Romans 1:3,4) has shed forth this, (The baptism of the Holy Spirit) which you now see and hear. (Remember the prophecy of the prophet John the Baptist in Matthew 3:11 saying that the Lamb of God would baptize with the Holy Spirit. The Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN that power and authority to baptize with the Holy Spirit of Yahweh after the cross and resurrection, according to Matthew 28:18, and Luke 24:44-49. The Son of MAN, Jesus was MADE a quickening Spirit, according to 1 Corinthians 15:45,46) 34. For David is NOT ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD said unto My Lord, Sit you on My right hand, 35. UNTIL I make your foes your footstool. 36. THEREFORE, let all the house of Israel KNOW ASSUREDLY , that God has MADE that same Jesus, (The MAN approved by God) whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” So then, whenever you see the title “Lord Jesus Christ”, then KNOW ASSUREDLY that Almighty God MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus both Lord and Christ AFTER the cross and resurrection. Know and understand that the God of Jesus FULFILLED His PROMISE to make His human Son FULL of JOY with His very OWN CONTENANCE, according to Acts 2:28, John 5:22-27, John 17:5, and Hebrews 12:2. Now, we have already read Acts 2:28, but let us read that verse again before we read the next three passages of Scripture that I gave references to above. Acts 2:28. “ You have made KNOWN to me the ways of life; You SHALL make me full of JOY WITH YOUR countenance.”
Again, Jesus is saying to his God and Father, You O Father shall GLORIFY me WITH Your OWN SELF, make me FULL of the JOY that You SET before me to endure the cross, according to John 5:22-27, John 17:5 and Hebrews 12:2. So what does being MADE full of joy WITH Your COUNTENANCE O Father actually mean in the light of the whole word of Almighty God. The word “countenance” itself means PRESENCE, person, and appearance on the surface. Keep in mind that this PROPHECY was filled AFTER the cross and resurrection. Let us read John 5:22-27 to learn more about what being MADE FULL of JOY with Your COUNTENANCE means in the light of the rest of the Scriptures.
John 5:22-27.
“For the Father judges no man, but has COMMITTED all judgment unto the Son: 23. THAT (Or so that, or in order that) all men should HONOR the Son, even as they HONOR the Father. He that honors NOT the Son honors NOT the Father which has sent him. (Or who has ANOINTED him with His Holy Spirit and power from on High) 24 Verily, verily, (Or TRULY TRULY) I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes in Him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (Speaking of being quickened by the Holy Spirit to be made alive from SPIRITUAL death, being DEAD in our sins before we BELIEVED in BOTH the Father and the Son to be saved. And if you endure unto the END, then you shall pass from physical death to ETERNAL life in the world to come to receive the SAME FULLNESS of JOY with the COUNTENANCE of Almighty God the Father) 25. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: AND they that hear shall live. (In other words, the hour is coming for the physical dead to hear the voice of the Son of God. AND right now the hour is for those who hear his voice to be made alive from being DEAD in their sins so that they can receive the promise of the Holy Spirit to dwell in them) 26. For (Or BECAUSE) AS the Father HAS life in Himself; so has He GIVEN to the Son TO HAVE life in himself; 27. AND has GIVEN him authority to execute judgment also, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN.”
Please notice that the Scripture does NOT say because he was Almighty God Himself in the flesh. The Scripture does NOT say because he was God the Son in the eternity past. Nor does the Scripture say because he is the Son of GOD. But rather, the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that Jesus was MADE Lord, being GIVEN all power and authority, BECAUSE Jesus was the Son of MAN. So then, in this passage of Scripture, we learn that being made FULL of JOY WITH “countenance” of the Father is to be GIVEN the divine nature of IMMORTALITY never to die again. And Jesus has GIVEN us that SAME GLORY as a PROMISE to receive eternal life in the world to come, according to John 17:5,22, Titus 1:2, Proverbs 8:23-36, 1 Peter 1:2-23, and Mark 10:30. Let us go ahead and read John 17:5,22 before we read Hebrews 12:2. But I want to read a more CORRECT translation of John 17:5 that I explain in the study called D-26. WHAT Does JOHN 17:5 TRULY MEAN? You can read that study later to see how and why the following translation is a more CORRECT translation.
Here is a more CORRECT translation of John 17:5,22.
“And NOW, (Seeing that I have done all of Your Will that You asked me to do) O Father, You GLORIFY me (Or you HONOR me) with Your own self with the glory (Or with the HONOR) which I TO HAVE (To HOLD and POSSESS) WITH You ABOVE (Or OVER) the world TO BE… 22. And the glory which You GAVE me I (The now glorified Son of MAN) have given them; that they may be ONE, EVEN AS we are ONE: ”
Again, please read the study called D-26. WHAT Does JOHN 17:5 TRULY MEAN? That study will explain from the Scripture how and why the above translation is a more CORRECT translation. But for now, let us read Hebrews 12:2, which some Christians read right over without truly considering what that verse of Scripture is actually saying.
Hebrews 12:1-4.
“Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of WITNESSES, (Speaking of the saints in heaven waiting to be GLORIFIED with new IMMORTAL bodies like Jesus was given after the cross and resurrection. Can you imagine the JOY on the face of Jesus when he descended back down from heaven for forty days to show himself ALIVE never to die again? Hey guys, check out my new body! Do not be afraid, for I am not a spirit. For you see, a spirit does not have a body of flesh and bones and you can plainly see that I have. TOUCH me, HANDLED me. Prove to yourselves that I am the Lord of GLORY prophesied in the Scriptures. You can join the WITNESSES in heaven and you all will receive YOUR CHANGE together at my coming again IF you also endure unto the end. So) let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who FOR the JOY that was SET before him ENDURED the cross, despising the shame, and is SET down at the right hand of the throne of God. (In other words, God PROMISED His human Son that He would CROWN him with glory and honor to be MADE Lord over the earth in the world to come. And thus, the human Son of God JOINED WITH his God and Father to be SEATED on his Father’s throne for 1000 years) 3. For consider him that endured such a contradiction of sinners against himself, lest you become wearied and faint in your minds. 4. You have NOT yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”
In other words, LOOK at all of what Jesus ENDURED in order to OBTAIN a NAME more excellent than the angels. Truly CONSIDER what Jesus endured in order to receive eternal life in the world to come. And quit complaining how hard it is to fight against giving into temptations to sin. For we all have been given the SAME JOY set before us to endure our fight against sin. And that same JOY is the HOPE of receiving our reward of eternal to become JOINT HEIRS with Jesus, to rule and REIGN WITH him for 1000 years during the world to come. And not that you know and understand the JOY that was SET or PRESENTED to the Son of MAN, Jesus, to OVERCOME sin, let us now look at the Scriptures that show us that Jesus was GIVEN all power and the FULLNESS of the Godhead to dwell in him AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Matthew 28:18,19.
“And Jesus came and spoke unto them, (After the cross and resurrection during that forty days that he showed himself alive never to die again) saying, All power is GIVEN unto me in heaven and in earth. 19. Go you THEREFORE, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
Have you ever wondered why Jesus said THEREFORE, go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, AND of the Son, AND of the Holy Spirit, BUT the disciples baptized ONLY is the ONE name of Jesus? It is NOT because God is some so-called Trinity Godhead made up of three separate persons. But rather, it is because Almighty God Yahweh, who alone in the Father GAVE His human Son a NEW NAME after the cross and resurrection. And that NEW NAME of Jesus is Yah, a contraction of Yahweh, which carries the same power and authority as Yahweh Himself. The Holy Spirit has that SAME NAME because that Holy Spirit is the Father Himself. Please read the studies called D-23. WHAT is the NEW NAME of Jesus? Part 1., and M-5. WHY the HOLY SPIRIT is the FATHER? But for now, let us continue reading the verses of Scripture that clearly teach us that it was after the cross and resurrection that Jesus was DECLARED to be the Son of God WITH POWER.
Please read Romans 1:3.4.
“Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was MADE of the seed of David according to the flesh; (According to the Scriptures, the Messiah was made a little LOWER than the angels FIRST, and then CROWN with glory to receive all power, being SET on his God and Father’s throne at His right hand) 4. And DECLARED to be the Son of God with POWER, according to the spirit of holiness, BY the RESURRECTION from the dead:”
Romans 14:9.
“For to this END Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he MIGHT BE Lord both of the dead and living.”
This one verse of Scripture proves that Jesus was NOT Lord in the eternity past as Trinitarian Christians CLAIM based on church TRADITION. How many times does the Bible WARN us to NOT be deceived by TRADITIONS of men? Please read the five part series of studies beginning with the study called E-24. Are You SURE You Have the TRUE GOSPEL?
Luke 1:31-33.
“And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS. 32. He SHALL BE great, and SHALL BE called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall GIVE unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; (Or for an AGE) and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
Or the Kingdom itself will have no end, but Yahweh, the Father will rule the Kingdom from henceforth after the FIRST DOMINION, according to the prophecy in Micah 4:6-8.
Hebrews 2:1.
“Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, (From the Scriptures and NOT from church TRADITION) lest at any time we should let them slip. 2. For if the word spoken by angels (Or more correctly, for if the word spoken TO the angels) was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; 3. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will? 5. For unto the angels has He NOT put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. (In other words, the world to come is the SUBJECT under discussion in Hebrews chapter 1 and chapter 2. And God did NOT give the RULE over the world to come to any of the angels) 6. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is MAN, that You are mindful of him? Or the Son of MAN, that You visit him? 7. You MADE him a little LOWER than the angels; You CROWNED him with glory and honor, and did SET him over the works of Your hands: 8. You have PUT all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He PUT all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see NOT YET all things put under him. 9. But WE see Jesus, who was MADE a little LOWER than the angels for the suffering of death, CROWNED WITH glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”

“Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being MADE subject unto him.”
Hebrews 1:1-14.
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (Or during the Old Testament God spoken to people by way of His prophets and angels, because there was NO Son of God BEFORE Jesus was BORN of the Virgin Mary) 2. Has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed HEIR of all things, by (Or more correctly FOR) whom also He made the worlds; 3. Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4. Being MADE so much better than the angels, as he has by INHERITANCE OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than they. 5. For unto which of the angels said He at any time, You are My Son, this DAY have I begotten you? And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a Son? 6. And again, when He brings in the first begotten into the world, He said, And let all the angels of God worship him. 7. And of the angels He said, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. (Or He makes them a BLAZE of fire to be burned to ashes in the lake of fire) 8. But unto the Son He said, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: (Or from and AGE to and AGE) a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. 9. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; THEREFORE, (Or for this very reason that you loved righteousness and hated iniquity) God, even your God, has ANOINTED you WITH the oil of gladness above your FELLOWS. (Or God your God has consecrated you to the office of a mighty ruler to be ABOVE your brethren) 10. And, (Or YET) You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands: 11. They shall perish; but You remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment; 12. And as a vesture shall You fold them up, and they shall be changed: but You are the same, and Your years shall not fail. 13. But (Or MOREOVER) to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on My right hand, UNTIL I make your enemies your footstool? 14. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
Now read Psalm 2:1-12.
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, AGAINST the LORD, and AGAINST His ANOINTED, saying, 3. Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6. Yet have I SET My king upon My holy hill of Zion. (Then, in the next verse, Yahweh’s King, the highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus, is speaking) 7. I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are My Son; this day have I begotten you. 8. Ask of Me, and I shall GIVE you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. 9. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. 10. Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth. (Or you Christians who shall be made kings over the earth to judge the fallen angels) 11. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12. Kiss the Son, (Fasten yourself to the Son to please him) lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those that put their trust in him.
Here is another PROPHECY in Psalm 89:18-27.
“For the LORD is our defense; AND the Holy One of Israel is our King. (Whom Yahweh MADE to become a King of kings and a Lord of lords under his LORD God and King) 19. Then You spoke in vision to Your Holy One, and said, I have laid HELP upon one that is mighty; (Or I have ANOINTED one with My Ho;y Spirit and power to become a mighty one) I have EXALTED one chosen out of the PEOPLE. 20. I have found David my servant; with My holy oil have I ANOINTED him: 21. With whom My hand shall be established: My arm also shall strengthen him. 22. The enemy shall NOT exact upon him; (Or the enemy shall NOT deceive him and lead him astray) nor the son of wickedness afflict him. (Or DEFILE him) 23. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. 24. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in My name shall his horn be EXALTED. 25. I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. 26. He shall cry unto Me, You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. 27. Also, I will make him My FIRSTBORN, (And he shall be) higher than the kings of the earth.
Psalm 110:1-5.
“The LORD said unto My Lord, SIT you at my right hand, UNTIL I make your enemies your footstool. 2. The LORD shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: RULE you in the midst of your enemies. 3. Your people shall be willing in the DAY of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth. (This tells me that our YOUTH will be RENEWED when we receive our new glorified immortal bodies in the world to come) 4. The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. 5. The Lord (Or MY Lord) at Your right hand shall strike through kings on the day of his wrath.”
Now I want you to read Isaiah 9:6 in its CONTEXT. And as you read this PROPHECY of God's yet future Son coming into existence, I want you to notice the ORDER in which the events are PROPHESIED to come to pass.
Please read Isaiah 9:6,7.
“For (Order of event #1 that has already been FULFILLED) unto us, a CHILD is BORN, (THEN comes Order of event #2 that has also already been FULFILLED) unto us a son is given: (Speaking of the HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus as the Son given as the ONE sacrifice for the sins of the world. Yahweh provided His own Lamb that was slain in the mind of God from the foundation of the world. God chose His Lamb to be made inferior to the angels so He made the human race a little lower than the angelic beings) and (And THEN Order of event #3 is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED) the government shall be upon his shoulder: (Which is the WRATH of God executed by Jesus. That is WHEN the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of God's dear Son to begin the 1000 year reign of Jesus) and (And THEN will come Order of event #4 that is YET FUTURE and it is YET TO BE FULFILLED WHEN the government will be set upon the shoulder of Jesus IN the world to come. And AT that TIME of the second coming of Jesus to begin the world to come) his NAME shall be CALLED Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, (Or more precisely, according to Hebrew 5:9, the father of everlasting life or the AUTHOR of eternal life. For you see, it was BECAUSE, OF the Son of man, Jesus obeying his God and Father's Will, that Jesus made it possible for whosoever believes in him shall be saved. Jesus was MADE perfect and he BECAME the father of eternal life AFTER the cross. For you see, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN the authority and the power AFTER the cross to JUDGE and also to give eternal life to whomever he chooses. This is why Psalms 2 prophesied to kiss the feet of God’s Son whom He ordained to be his King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus is also called) The Prince of Peace. (And, according to Revelation 1:5, Jesus is our Prince right now standing at the right hand of God. But at his second coming, Jesus will SIT on the right hand of Yahweh to rule and reign FOR Yahweh as the Lord of the Sabbath. And at that time, the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. And) 7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
Also, please notice WHO is doing the PERFORMING of His own spoken word of PROPHECY that came forth OUT FROM His mouth. It is Almighty God Yahweh the creator who is performing His own word. So to me, Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of the spoken word of PROPHECY. Jesus began as a THOUGHT in God’s mind as God's secret plan of salvation. Not just the salvation of mankind that He had not yet created, but also the RESTORATION of the entire universe back to being at PEACE having no WAR. God created the human race to put an END to evil. Please read the studies under the heading >>>WHY are we HERE? - Is GOD at WAR?<<< Here is another PROPHECY where the kingdoms of this present world SHALL be GIVEN to the NOW highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus, whom God MADE Lord over the earth for 1000 years. Notice that the Son of MAN comes OVER TO the Ancient of Days who sits on the throne. Therefore, Jesus is NOT the Ancient of Days.
Daniel 7:13,14.
“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of MAN came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before Him. 14. And there was GIVEN to him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, (Or his dominion is a FUTURE dominion that shall NOT CONTINUE) and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”
Again, Jesus will rule UNTIL the 1000 years has ENDED. The Hebrew word translated as everlasting also means FUTURE. And the Hebrew word translated as “pass away” also means pass on and CONTINUE.
Philippians 2:6-11.
“Who (Speaking of Jesus right now PRESENTLY in the PRESENT tense and NOT in eternity PAST) being (Or who has COME INTO EXISTENCE to PRESENTLY be UNDER) in the form (Or in the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY, as in, by adjustment of his human mortal nature to now SHARING the DIVINE NATURE) of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (Or it did not even enter into the mind or thought of Jesus to seize to be like God as Lucifer did to try and self exalt himself to take by FORCE to be like God) 7. But (Or CONTRARY-WISE Jesus) made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made (Or BEING made) in the likeness of men: (The words “and was” are NOT in the original text. So this should read as follows in my paraphrased version. “Contrary-wise instead of seeking to be equal with God after being GIVEN all power and authority after the cross, Jesus made himself of no reputation, but rather, he took or he remained a SERVANT MADE in the likeness of men.” Some translations say that after coming into the form of God after the cross he did not even think to take by force to be equal with God but contrary-wise he stripped himself or he humbled himself to be a servant made in the likeness of men) 8. And (Or MOREOVER, if you remember before the cross, Jesus) being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9. WHEREFORE (Or for this very REASON that the Son of MAN, Jesus, became obedient unto death, even death on the cross) God also has HIGHLY EXALTED him, and has GIVEN him a NAME which is ABOVE every name: (Please read the two part study called D-23. WHAT is the NEW NAME of Jesus? Part 1.) 10. THAT (Or in order THAT) AT the NAME of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
And here is another passage of Scripture that shows WHEN Jesus was GIVEN all power and authority to be MADE Lord.
Ephesians 1:20-22.
“Wherefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16. Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17. That the God OF our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father OF glory, (Or in the same way that Yahweh the Father is the Father of LIGHT, Yahweh the Father is the Father of GLORY who GAVE His human Son His own GLORY to be having in himself even as the Father has always shines with glory in His COUNTENANCE) may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Eph 1:20 Which He WROUGHT in Christ, WHEN He raised him from the dead, and SET him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, 21. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every NAME that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22. And has put all things under his feet, and GAVE him to be the head over all things to the church, 23. Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.”
John 17:1-5.
“These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; (Speaking of the appointed time of the crucifixion of the Son of MAN, Jesus) GLORIFY Your Son, that Your (GLORIFIED) Son also may glorify You: (Here we see the Son of MAN, Jesus praying to his God and Father, asking his Father to GLORIFY him in order that the Father would be glorified. Keep in mind that the Apostle John wrote down what he heard and what he was taught by Jesus both before and after the cross and resurrection as a RECORD for us to read. So while Jesus prayed this prayer before the cross, he was not glorified by God until after the cross and resurrection) 2. As You have GIVEN him POWER over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as You have GIVEN him. (According to Matthew 28:18, John 5:26,27, Romans 1:3,4, Philippians 2:8-11, and many other verses of Scripture, Almighty God GAVE His NOW glorified Son all power and authority AFTER the cross and resurrection) 3. And THIS is life eternal, THAT they might know YOU the only true God, AND (That they might know) Jesus Christ, whom You have SENT. (According to 2 John 1:9, and 1 John 5:12, we must believe in and ABIDE in BOTH, Almighty God the Father, AND in His Son, Jesus, in order to receive eternal life in the world to come. Please know and understand that Jesus CLEARLY identifies his God and Father as the ONLY TRUE God. Also, notice that Jesus said THIS is eternal life. So to me, Jesus is saying that we must KNOW that the Father ALONE is the ONLY TRUE God, and also KNOW that God SENT His ANOINTED Son into the world. The word “SENT” means COMMISSION. And the word “commission” means to give power and authority to accomplish the task that one is given to do. And the Son of MAN, Jesus, was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and power at his baptism by John the Baptist, according to Acts 10:38 and Luke 4:1,17-21) 4. I have glorified You on the earth: I have FINISHED the work which You gave me to do. (Here we see the Son of MAN, Jesus, reminding his God and Father that he has finished all of His Will that God asked him to do. So the CONTEXT of John 17:5 is Jesus telling his god and Father that he has done everything that God asked him to do, and NOW, it is your turn to give to me the JOY that you see before me to ENDURE the cross, according to Hebrews 12:2) 5. And NOW, (Seeing that I have done all of Your Will that You asked me to do) O Father, You GLORIFY me with Your own self with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”
According to BlueLetterBible.org, the Greek word “echo” translated as “had” actually means to HAVE, to HOLD to KEEP, and to possess. It also means to LAY HOLD OF, and to JOIN or ACCOMPANY with someone. In other words, God PROMISED the Son of MAN, Jesus, that He would make him a partaker of the Divine nature of immortality, crown him with glory and honor, and SET him on His throne at His right hand side, IF Jesus obeyed Him to do all of His Will. So then, the TRUE SOUND Biblical meaning of John 17:5 is Jesus is simply asking his God and Father to give him what God PROPHESIED in His word concerning HIGHLY EXALTING His firstborn to be made a King of kings and a Lord of lords in the world to come, according to Psalm 89:27, Psalm 2:6-10, Psalm 110:1,2, Acts 2:34-38, and many other verses of Scripture. The SAME Greek word “echo” that is used here in John 17:5 is ALSO used MANY verses of Scripture where we are PROMISED eternal life in the word to come. So we HAVE eternal life that is RESERVED in heaven for us IF we obey the Will of God. Please consider the following verses of Scripture with the Greek word “echo” translated correctly to fit the CONTEXT.
1 Corinthians 15:24-28.
“Then comes the END, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25. For he must reign, TILL He has put all enemies under his feet. 26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27. For He has put all things under his feet. But when He said all things are put under him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28. And WHEN all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son ALSO himself be SUBJECT unto Him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.”
In other words, WHEN the Millennial reign of Jesus has ENDED, then the now glorified Son of MAN, Jesus, will COMMIT the ruling of the kingdom over the earth BACK into the hands of God. EVEN the FATHER, and return to be SUBJECT unto his God and Father for all eternity FUTURE. Jesus will no longer SIT on his God and Father’s throne to rule over the earth, because there will be no NEED for God now highly exalted human Son to rule FOR Yahweh in the NAME of Yahweh over the earth.
