Chapter 3.
According to church TRADITION, the Son of God always existed in the eternity past as God the Son the second person of a Godhead Trinity God made up of three separate persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. But, according to the Bible ITSELF, the Son of MAN, Jesus was MADE both Lord and Christ BY his God and Father AFTER the cross and resurrection. Please read the very FIRST Gospel message preached by the Apostle Peter under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Just as a reminder, I basically use FOUR main colors when highlighting in my Bible studies. Each of the four colors have a coded representation or meaning. Below is a list of the four colors and what each color represents. #1. The ORANGE highlighting refers to Yahweh, Almighty God the Father as being the ONE TRUE God in ONE person. #2. The YELLOW highlighting refers to Jesus, the Son of God, DURING the days of his FLESH. In other words, the color yellow represents the HUMAN Son of God BEFORE his God and Father highly exalted the Son of MAN, Jesus. I also use the color yellow just as emphasis to draw your attention to key words and phrases. #3. The BLUE highlighting refers to Jesus AFTER God highly exalted His human Son and CROWNED him with glory and honor to be MADE Lord over the earth for 1000 years in the world to come. The light blue color also represents TRUTH. #4. The GREEN highlighting refers to FALSE doctrines of devils. I use the color green in most cases to draw attention to things that word of God teaches AGAINST, but in SOME cases the color green is for emphasis only. In other words, when I want words like AND, ALSO, FOR, and THAT to stand out in a phrase that is highlighted in all yellow, then I will also use the green and or blue color just to emphasize a word. To me, this color code makes it easier to follow the pronoun use when referring to the Father from the pronouns referring to His Son, Jesus.
Acts 2:22-36.
“You men of Israel, HEAR these words; (Now the Gospel was FIRST preached to the Jews only and the SAME Gospel was preached later to the Gentiles. So whether you are a Jew or gentile HEAR these words of the Apostle Peter) Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know: (Jesus said in John 5:19 that he could do NOTHING of himself. And in John 14:10 Jesus teaches us that it was Almighty God the Father DWELLING IN him who did the works. The Son of MAN, Jesus offered himself to his God and Father without spot THROUGH the power of the Eternal Spirit dwelling in him, according to Hebrews 9:14) 23. Him, (The Son of MAN approved by God) being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, (In other words, everything that was PROPHESIED to happen to Jesus was FULFILLED by God at the time it was prophesied to come to pass) was you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24. Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it. 25. For David speaks CONCERNING him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: 26. Therefore, did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27. Because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption. 28. You have made known to me (Your Holy One prophesied in the Scriptures) the ways of life; You shall make me full of JOY with Your countenance. (Speaking of the JOY that Yahweh set before the Son of MAN, Jesus, to endure the cross, according to Hebrews 12:2. And that joy was the PROMISE that God would GLORIFY the Son of MAN with the FULNESS of the Godhead to JOIN his God and Father on His throne to sit at His right hand as his reward for enduring the cross) 29. Men and brethren, let me FREELY speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. 30. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to SIT on His throne; 31. He, (The prophet David) having seen this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32. This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33. Therefore, being by the right hand of God EXALTED, and having RECEIVED of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he (Speaking of the now GLORIFIED highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross and resurrection) has shed forth this, which you now see and hear. (In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN all power and authority after the cross to baptize whosoever BELIEVES with the Holy Spirit to EMPOWER us to do the same works that Almighty God empower His human Son, Jesus, to do during the days of his FLESH) 34. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on My right hand, 35. UNTIL I make your foes your footstool. 36. Therefore, let all of the house of Israel KNOW ASSUREDLY, that God has MADE that same Jesus, (Speaking of the Son of MAN, the HUMAN Son of God) whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Now, mere common sense should teach anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear that since Almighty God MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus, to BECOME both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, then the Son was not ALWAYS Lord in the eternity past. Therefore, when we read the phrase “the Son of God” we must know and understand that it can mean the HUMAN Son of God BEFORE the Son of God was GLORIED. And we must also know and understand that the phrase “Son of God” speaks of the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross and resurrection. In other words, the Bible ITSELF teaches us about the days of his FLESH that were BEFORE the cross and resurrection of Jesus. And according to John 5:19, during the days of his FLESH, the Son could do NOTHING of himself. And according to John 14:10, it was Almighty God Himself doing the works by dwelling in His Son. It was the Son of MAN, Jesus, who offered himself to his God and Father without spot THROUGH the power of the Eternal Spirit dwelling in him, according to Hebrews 9:14. And the PROPHECY in Isaiah 9:6,7 clearly teaches us that a SON would be BORN of a woman FIRST. And then, that Son of a virgin woman would be GIVEN. And THEN, after the cross and resurrection and WHEN the GOVERNMENT shall be laid upon his shoulders, that is WHEN his NAME shall be called the Mighty God to the whole world. Right now in this present world, Jesus is Lord and God only to Christians. But church TRADITION argues that God sent His already existing God the Son down from heaven and God the Son manifested or incarnated himself to become flesh. And church TRADITION adds that when God the Son became flesh he FULLY REMAINED Almighty God the Son. And thus, church TRADITION had to invent a new teaching that is NOT found anywhere in the Bible ITSELF. And that new man-made doctrine states that Jesus had TWO natures at the SAME TIME during the days of his FLESH, one divine and one human. And it took some four hundred years for the apostate church TRADITION to form that man-made two natures of Jesus doctrine. Here is a quote from another website explaining what the council at Chalcedon in 451 AD was all about.
“The Council of Chalcedon was called in 451 CE by the Roman Emperor Marcian (r. 450-457) to settle debates regarding the nature (hypostases, "reality") of Christ that had begun at two earlier meetings in Ephesus (431 CE and 439 CE). The question was whether Christ was human or divine, a man who became God (through the resurrection and ascension) or God who became a man (through the incarnation, "taking on flesh"), and how his humanity and divinity affected his essence and being, if at all.”
In other words, ALL Christians agreed that Jesus was DEITY or had divine NATURE. But the question or DEBATE was HOW was Jesus Deity?
#1. Did Jesus BECOME God by being made a partaker of the Divine nature AFTER the cross through the resurrection and the ascension?
#2. Did the already Divine God BECOME a MAN through the concept of incarnation, the taking on the nature of FLESH?
Please know and understand that immediately following the council at Chalcedon in 451 AD there were even MORE divisions in the church than ever before. And that proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that church TRADITION was being FORCED upon the church. Well, today in the world that is not that threat of torture and death for believing what the Bible ITSELF teaches over what church TRADITION teaches. So allow me to speak FREELY to all who are seeking the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. What does the Bible ITSELF teach us concerning this DEBATE between whether a MAN became a God or the eternal God became a MAN? Please know and understand that I teach that Jesus is Deity. But what I teach is what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY which is that the Son of MAN became a God under and subject to his God and Father. And we will cover some of the PROPHECIES and FULFILLMENTS of prophecies further on in this study that proves the sound Biblical fact that the Son of MAN became a God. But the question is WHY was the Son of MAN, Jesus, MADE to become a God? What was the PURPOSE for a HUMAN being to be highly exalted and GIVEN a NAME that is above every other name?
Please read Philippians 2:1-16.
“If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2. Fulfill you my joy, that you be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (In other words, if there is any IMPLORATION that I have for you in the body of Christ, then that imploration if for you all to be of the same mind) 3. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. 4. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5. Let this mind be in you, (Speaking of this mind of being a SERVANT to others) which was also in Christ Jesus: 6. Who, BEING in the form of God, (The Greek word “huparcho” means to begin under quietly. That is to come into existence, or to be present at hand in the form or in the image of God to exist or after behaving the form or nature of God. So then, it was AFTER the cross and resurrection that the Son of MAN, Jesus was made a PARTAKER of the Divine nature of immortality to BEGIN under in the form or image of God, who NOW being in the form of God) thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (The wording of this phrase LITERALLY means that AFTER becoming in the form of God, Jesus never once thought to SNATCH at equality with God like Lucifer did) 7. But (Or contrary wise) made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a SERVANT, and was made in the likeness of men: (The English words “and was” were added by the translators. What Paul is saying is that CONTRARY to what Lucifer did, which was to SEIZE by FORCE of war to be equal with God, that that thought never entered the mind of Jesus. And thus, Jesus, made in the likeness of men took upon him the nature of a SERVANT) 8. And (Or MOREOVER) being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Or even before being highly exalted, Jesus perceived that his nature was human and he even though he understood that his Father was God Himself, Jesus humbled himself to become obedient to his God and Father even to die on the cross) 9. WHEREFORE (Or for this very REASON that the Son of MAN, Jesus, obeyed the Will of his God and Father even to die on the cross for the sins of the world) God also has HIGHLY EXALTED him, and GIVEN him a NAME which is ABOVE every name: (And the only NAME that is ABOVE every other name is Yahweh, the NAME of Almighty God the Father. And the REASON that the HUMAN Son of God was GIVEN the NAME Yahweh our RIGHTEOUSNESS, according to the PROPHECY in Jeremiah, is found in the next verse) 10. THAT AT the NAME of Jesus (Speaking to the NEW NAME that God GAVE to the Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross and resurrection BECAUSE of his OBEDIENCE to do the Will of his God and Father was SO THAT AT the NAME) every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (The word “things” is not in the original text. So the REASON for why the human Son of God was GIVEN the NAME that is above every name is so that every knee of every created being in the heavens, in the earth, and under the earth will BOW down to the NAME of Yahweh) 11. And that every tongue should CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord, TO the glory OF God, the Father. (So then, the very reason for WHY Almighty God the Father MADE His human Son to BECOME a God is to GLORIFY Almighty God the Father. In other words, EVERY knee and EVERY tongue includes Satan and the fallen angels who waged a WAR against Yahweh’s throne of authority. Every knee and every tongue also includes every human being who rejects that God exists whether they are dead or alive at the coming of Jesus. For you see, Hebrews 1:4-6 teaches us that when God BRINGS His FIRSTBORN back into the world, then the ANGELS will WORSHIP him. The angels are the gods who shall worship the glorified Son of MAN, Jesus as Lord, according to the PROPHECY in Psalm 97:5-9) 12. Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13. For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. 14. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15. That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, (Or that you may be coming the blameless and innocent sons of God by you being) without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world; 16. Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.”
The truth of the matter is that we have been given the POWER to BECOME the eternal sons of God the SAME as Jesus BECAME the ETERNAL Son of God by OVERCOMING Satan, according to Revelation 3:21,22. And the SAME glory that Almighty God the Father GAVE to His human Son, Jesus, the NOW eternal Son of God has also GIVEN to us as a PROMISE to receive that same GLORY to be made ONE with the Father even as the Son of MAN, Jesus, is one with the Father, according to John 17:22-23. And not only that, but we shall also be given the SAME NAME that Jesus was GIVEN after the cross and resurrection that is ABOVE every other name in order to rule and reign WITH Jesus during the world to come for 1000 years, according to Revelation 3:12, Revelation 20:3-6, and the PROPHECY in Jeremiah 33:16. In other words, the human Son of God BECAME God’s ETERNAL Son to provide a WAY for whosoever believes to ALSO become the eternal sons and daughters of Almighty God to the glory of Yahweh the Father.
Please read John 1:11-13.
“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12. But as many as RECEIVED him, to them gave he the POWER to BECOME the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
Now, church TRADITION teaches us that we who believe have already become the sons of God and that we have already been given eternal life. But the Bible ITSELF teaches us that we as many as have RECEIVED Jesus as their Lord and Savior have been given the power to BECOME the sons of God. And therefore, the actual MANIFESTATION of our new glorified bodies like Jesus received after the cross and resurrection will not take place until the coming of Jesus, according to 1 John 3:1-3.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the GLORY which SHALL BE revealed in us. 19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the MANIFESTATION of the sons of God. 20. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope, 21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22. For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. 23. And not only they, but ourselves also, which HAVE the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for?”
Let us go ahead and read 1 John 3:1-3.
“Behold, what manner of LOVE the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knows us not, because it knows him not. 2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3. And every man that has this HOPE in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.”
Now, when we RECEIVE our new glorified IMMORTAL bodies like Jesus was given after the cross and resurrection, will we have TWO NATURES at the SAME TIME, one DIVINE nature and one human flesh? Or will we have ONE NATURE which will be the DIVINE NATURE of immortality, according to 2 Peter 1:3,4? The sound Biblical answer is that we have only ONE nature at a TIME. And in this PRESENT time we have HUMAN nature which is MORTAL nature. And at the coming of Jesus we will be GIVEN the DIVINE nature of IMMORTALITY. So then, right now Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God, the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN. And thus, during the days of Jesus from his virgin birth to the time of his crucifixion on the cross, Jesus had ONE nature, which was HUMAN mortal nature. And then AFTER the cross and resurrection, the HUMAN mortal Son of God was CROWNED with glory and honor to RECEIVE the DIVINE NATURE of immortality, according to Hebrews 2:5-11 and John 5:26,27, BECAUSE he was the Son of MAN. So then, according to the Bible ITSELF, the DAY that the Son of God was BEGOTTEN was the DAY that the Son of MAN was MADE to BECOME a God to join his God and Father on the Father’s throne. Part 1 And at the return of Jesus to rule and reign as the God of the whole earth, those of us who believe and are found faithful servants will become the eternal sons and daughters of God as well. And at that time we will ALSO be made gods along with Jesus to rule and reign WITH Jesus over the earth for 1000 years during the world to come. And the reason for WHY Jesus and we who believe will be MADE to BECOME gods is to JUDGE Satan and the fallen ANGELS or the gods who rebelled and made WAR against God.
