Chapter 2.
Now, church TRADITION, according to the Roman Catholic Church and also many Protestant church denominations, define the only true God as being a Trinitarian Godhead. But what does the Bible ITSELF state as a FACT with no interpretation needed as being the ONLY TRUE God? I will highlight in orange the words and pronouns that refer to Almighty God the Father. And I will highlight the words and pronouns that refer to Jesus, the Son of Almighty God the Father, in yellow. The words highlighted in light blue are for emphasis, especially for things that are TRUE. Highlights in green usually emphasize ERROR.
Please read John 17:1-3.
“These words spoke Jesus, (Or these words were spoken by Jesus himself in a prayer to his God and Father right before the cross and resurrection of the Son of MAN) and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Your Son, THAT (Or glorify Your Son so that or in order that or for the very purpose THAT) Your Son ALSO may glorify You: 2. As You have GIVEN him POWER over all flesh, THAT (Or You have GIVEN the Son of MAN the power for the very purpose THAT) he should give eternal life to as many as You have given him. (Notice that the GIVER of the POWER is Almighty God the Father and the one RECEIVING the power for the PURPOSE of GLORIFYING the Father is the Son of MAN, Jesus) 3. And THIS IS life eternal, (Or and this is HOW they can receive eternal life by FAITH. Or this is what they ought to BELIEVE in order that they might receive eternal life) THAT they might know YOU the ONLY TRUE God, AND (That they know) Jesus Christ, whom You have SENT.”
Here is a list of points that Christians need to see and understand in order to know BOTH the Father and the Son, according to what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in simplicity. #1. It should be obvious to anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear that Jesus is NOT one and the self-same being as the Father. For you see, the Son of MAN, Jesus, is praying to his God and Father who is up in heaven. #2. Another obvious point is that these words were spoken by Jesus himself and were recorded by the Apostle John. And John teaches us in John 20:30,31 that the very reason he wrote the Gospel of John was so that we would KNOW that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. #3. Now, one thing that is not so obvious is the Greek word that is translated as the English word “TRUE”. In other words, when people see the word “TRUE” they think of the opposite of true as being FALSE. And thus, they wrongly conclude that every other god who is NOT the ONLY TRUE God must be a FALSE god. But in truth, the Greek word translated as “TRUE” also means “TRUTHFUL”. Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Greek word “alēthinos”.
G228 ἀληθινός alēthinos al-ay-thee-nos' From G227; truthful: - true. Total KJV occurrences: 27.
So then, a more correct translation of John 17:3 should be as follows.
“And THIS IS life eternal, (Or and this is HOW they can receive eternal life by FAITH. Or this is what they ought to BELIEVE in order that they might receive eternal life) THAT they might know YOU the ONLY TRUTHFUL God, AND (That they know) Jesus Christ, whom You have SENT.”
In other words, Satan, the god of this present world is a LIAR and the ONLY TRUTHFUL God is Almighty God the Father. So if you want eternal life in the world to come then KNOW the ONLY TRUTHFUL God AND His Son Jesus whom the Father MADE both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36 and many other verses of Scripture. In other words, WHEN Jesus prayed this prayer, he had not yet been glorified to become a TRUTHFUL God to JOIN his God and Father on the Father's throne to judge Lucifer and the fallen angel as rebellious lying gods. To say this another way, at the time that Jesus prayed this prayer, the Father was the ONLY truthful God and Satan was a LYING god.
#4. Another thing that is not so obvious is that the Greek word translated as THAT they might “KNOW” You the only TRUTHFUL God AND Jesus ANOINTED whom You SENT is the SAME Greek word in Matthew 1:24,25 translated as KNEW. In other words, Joseph did not KNOW Mary UNTIL after Jesus was born. So then, what Jesus is actually teaching us in John 17:1-3 is to “KNOW” both the Father and the Son, as in, to ABIDE in BOTH the only TRUTHFUL God who is the Father and in His Son whom he SENT. Almighty God the Father desires us to have an intimate relationship with Him and with His glorified Son, Jesus. And according to 1 John 5:20, in order to be IN HIM that is TRUTHFUL, we must be IN His Son. In other words, we are IN the Father who is TRUTHFUL by being IN His Son and THIS is eternal life. In other words, to KNOW the only TRUTHFUL God is more than just having head knowledge or understanding with the mind. The devils know or understand that there is a God and they TREMBLE, according to James 2:19.
#5. The Greek word “apostello” translated as “SENT” is the word that comes from the Greek word “apostolos”, which means Apostle. And according to Hebrews 3:1-3, we are to CONSIDER Jesus ANOINTED as being the APOSTLE and high priest of the profession of our faith who was APPOINTED by his God and Father. The word Apostle means to be COMMISSIONED first and then sent out as a messenger of God. And the word “commission” means to give power and authority to someone to accomplish the task that they are sent to accomplish. So again, the one who GAVE the power and the authority is Almighty God the Father. And according to John 5:26,27, the one who was COMMISSIONED or SENT by the Father was Jesus ANOINTED. In other words, the RECEIVER of the power and authority FROM his God and Father was the Son of MAN, Jesus.

#6. The Greek word translated as “Christ” means Messiah and ANOINTED. And to be ANOINTED carries the meaning of being consecrated to an office. In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was CALLED by his God and Father to accomplish the task of being RIGHTEOUS, according to the prophecy in Isaiah 42:6.
#7. The Son of MAN was GLORIFIED after the cross and resurrection, according to John 7:38-40 and many other verses of Scripture. And according to John 13:31,32, Almighty God the Father glorified His human Son so that He Himself would be glorified THROUGH His Son.
So ponder on and truly consider the above seven points so that you can see and understand that the Father is the TRUTHFUL God and that Satan is a LIAR and the father of lies. The phrase, “TRUE God” is found five times in the King James Version of the Bible. And in all five passages of Scripture the TRUE God always refers to Yahweh the Father the LIVING God. Here are the Scripture references for those five passages of Scripture that you can look up for yourself, 2 Chronicles 15:3,4, Jeremiah 10:10-12, John 17:3, 1 Thessalonians 1:9,10, and 1 John 5:10-20. But for now, I will quote one of those passages of Scripture for you.
Jeremiah 10:10-12.
“But the LORD (Or Yahweh) is the TRUE God, (Or Yahweh is the TRUTHFUL God or the God of TRUTH, a SURE God that you can TRUST) He is the LIVING God, and an everlasting king: (Or the Eternal King, according to 1 Timothy 1:17-19) at His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide His indignation. (Jesus is always referred to as the Son OF the LIVING God and it was the human Son of God that Yahweh MADE or SET to be His King over the earth, according to Psalms 2:1-12) 11. Thus shall you say unto them, The gods (Speaking of the fallen angels or the fallen Elohim) that have NOT made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. 12. He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by His discretion.”
The Hebrew word TRANSLATED as “made” the earth by His POWER also means He BRUISED the earth by His POWER. The Hebrew word translated as “established” the world means that Yahweh has FIXED the world. And the Hebrew word translated as “stretched out” the heavens also means that Yahweh has OVERTHROWN the heavens, as in, the side of heaven that waged a WAR against Yahweh’s throne of authority. So again, we see the comparison between the TRUTHFUL God and the UNTRUTHFUL fallen gods, the principalities and powers of the air, according to Ephesians 2:2, Ephesians 3:9-13, Ephesians 6:12, and Colossians 2:15. Clearly, Satan is called THE god of this present world with the definite article “THE” before the word “theos” in 2 Corinthians 4:2-6, and not one Christian will ever try to force Satan to be the ONLY TRUE God. But yet SOME Christians will argue according to the church TRADITION that they have been taught until they are blue in the face. They will dogmatically demand that since the Son is called “God” in Hebrews 1:8,9, then that proves that Jesus is the Almighty God Himself in the flesh, case closed. But what those Trinitarian and Oneness Pentecostal Christians have failed to understand is that Yahweh, the Father MADE His human Son, Jesus, to BECOME a God after the cross and resurrection. Trinitarian Christians FOCUS all of their attention on select verses of Scripture that they take OUT of the context in which those verses are found and “interpret” those verses to mean that a so-called God the Son was sent down from heaven to be incarnated in the flesh but yet REMAIN the Almighty God the Son. They dogmatically demand that the so-called eternal God the Son became flesh but he kept his divine nature or he remained fully God at the same time having TWO natures during the days of his FLESH, one divine and one human. That is called church TRADITION. And that church tradition took over four centuries to be developed. Now, the Oneness Pentecostal Christians argue that Yahweh the Father manifested Himself to become flesh based upon their own personal interpretation of 1 Timothy 3:16. And thus, to them, Jesus is LITERALLY the Father Himself in the flesh. And that is their church TRADITION. But according to the Bible ITSELF, Jesus is the IMAGE OF Almighty God and Almighty God is the Father ALONE. So then, to us as Biblical Unitarian Christians, according to 1 Corinthians 8:5-7, there is ONE God who ALONE is the Father and there is ONE Lord who is Jesus ANOINTED.

“For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there are gods many, and lords many,) 6. But to us (Speaking of Biblical Christians and NOT church TRADITION Christians) there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and (To us Biblical Christians there is ALSO) ONE Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (The word “things” is NOT in the original Greek text. And thus, the ALL is speaking of the ALL of whosoever who are IN the Father by being IN the Son. Always remember that Yahweh the Father MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus, both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36 and many other verses of Scripture) 7. However, there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol until this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.”
In other words, the unsaved pagans that worship many gods do not have the understanding that there is only ONE God who alone is the Father and ONE Lord Jesus Christ. The fact is that there are indeed MANY gods in the heavens that Yahweh Himself SET or made to become god under and subject to Yahweh. In other words, Yahweh SET Lucifer the anointed Cherub upon the throne over the earth during a previous age of the earth. But he was lifted up with pride and tried to self-exalt his throne to be above the clouds, according to Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:13-17. In chapter 3 called C101-3.
