Dd-8. WHY Do Christians NOT KEEP The SABBATH? DOWNLOAD to SAVE as a PDF Doc to read OFFLINE. Dd-8. WHY DO CHRISTIANS NOT KEEP THE SABBATH? Must Christians keep the weekly Sabbath day? If not, then WHY do Christians NOT need to keep the weekly Sabbath DAY as a 24 hr DAY of REST from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday as taught under the Old Covenant written in the Old Testament? The truth of the matter is that the Christians who do not keep the WEEKLY Sabbath DAY is because it was given as a SIGN for a PERPETUAL COVENANT. The Scripture does NOT say that the Sabbath was given as a perpetual COMMANDMENT. Let me explain what I mean by this. The Seventh Day Adventist Church knows and understands that the feast of Passover was a SHADOW pointing to Jesus as the TRUE Passover Lamb. In fact, they know that ALL of the Law of Moses contained in ORDINANCES was ALSO abolished and nailed to the cross, according to Ephesians 2:15 and Colossians 2:14-17. For you see, all of the ORDINANCES of the feast days and other commandments like the dietary laws and the weekly Sabbath DAY were written in the Law of Moses, also called the book of the Law, and all of those laws of commandments contained in ORDINANCES were placed in the side of the ark. And all of those ordinances are SHADOWS pointing to Jesus and the New “PERPETUAL” Covenant established in the shed blood of Jesus as the TRUE meaning of the shadows. So then, when Christians know the TRUTH that the REASON for WHY the feast of the Passover was given to the children of Israel in the first place, then there is no need for Christians to KEEP the feast of Passover. In other words, all of the feast days are no longer BINDING on us as Christians. In fact, there is no need for Christians to keep ANY of the Law of Moses contained in ordinances because we as Christians ARE keeping the TRUE MEANING of the SHADOWS that point to WHY the Law of Moses contained in ordinances was given to be kept by the children of Israel in the first place. Now, I chose the example of the feast of Passover, because it is really easy for Christians to see that the Passover lamb was a SHADOW pointing to Jesus as the TRUE Passover Lamb. And thus, by our FAITH in Jesus as the TRUE Passover Lamb, then we, as Christians, ARE keeping what God HID in the law and the prophets as shadows, figures, types and the hidden Aleph Tav prophecies pointing to Jesus and the New Covenant that God INTENDED us to keep in the first place. In other words, all of the law of commandments contained in ordinances were ADDED only UNTIL Christ came, because the children of Israel kept disobeying the God given CONSCIENCE. So then, the law and the prophets point to Jesus as the REASON for WHY God gave the LAW only to the children of Israel in the first place. Again, the Law of Moses was ADDED until Christ came. And after Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world there is no need, in the eyes of Almighty God, for us to keep the Law of Moses. For you see, it was Almighty God Himself who gave ALL the Law of Moses to the children of Israel to lead them to Jesus. Now, BEFORE the Law of Moses mankind had the Law of God in their CONSCIENCE. You see, even the Gentiles who were NOT a people of God have a God given CONSCIENCE that was inherited from Adam after Adam sinned. Then when Abraham came, God made a covenant of PROMISE with him that he would be the father of many nations. But at first, God made Abraham the father of many nations. Now, there are two nations, the nation from the seed of Ishmael and the nations of PROMISE of the seed of Isaac that we need to look at. God renamed Jacob with the name ISRAEL which means he shall rule as God. So the NAME Israel is a SHADOW pointing to Jesus and the children of Israel are the people that God gave to Jesus. And thus, the name Jacob is a figure of Jesus as well. Also, the seed of Ishmael was prophesied to SERVE Israel in the world to come. I will talk more about this and many other SHADOWS further on in this study. But for now, let me ask the Seventh Day Adventist Christians WHY they do not truly believe the teachings in the New Testament under the New Covenant to DISOBEY the commandments of Jesus under the NEW Covenant by keeping what Jesus abolished on the cross? Do you not understand that you are DISPLEASING God by keeping what Jesus ABOLISHED on the cross? Again, the Seventh Day Adventist Church knows this TRUTH full well that ALL of the Law of Moses was nailed to the cross and taken out of the way and that is why they CORRECTLY teach their congregation to NOT keep ANY of the feast days. For you see, they know the TRUTH that the feast day of the Passover lamb was a SHADOW pointing to Jesus as the TRUE Passover Lamb. But yet the SDA Church keeps the weekly Sabbath DAY as being an OBLIGATION lest they sin. They CLAIM that the weekly Sabbath DAY was NOT nailed to the cross. In other words, they “INTERPRET” the words of the Apostle Paul who CLEARLY said the SABBATHS were nailed to the cross to mean to THEM that ONLY the feast day Sabbaths were nailed to the cross. And that is why THEY feel that Christians MUST keep the weekly Sabbath DAY lest they break the fourth commandment and they SIN. So then, why I myself and almost all other Christians do NOT keep the weekly Sabbath DAY is because we ARE keeping the TRUE meaning of WHY the weekly Passover was given only to the children of Israel to keep in the first place. In other words, the Sabbath was given ONLY to the children of Israel for THEM to keep throughout THEIR generations as a SIGN for a PERPETUAL COVENANT. Again, the weekly Sabbath DAY was NOT given as a sign as a perpetual COMMANDMENT, but rather, it was given for a SIGN pointing to Messiah Jesus who established the New Covenant which is the PERPETUAL COVENANT. So once a Jew or a Gentile is created by God as a new creature in Jesus Christ to enter into the New Covenant there is no need to keep ANY of the Old Covenant, INCLUDING the keeping of the weekly Sabbath DAY as a DAY of REST which was a SHADOW pointing to Jesus and the New PERPETUAL Covenant. And ALL the SHADOWS were FULFILLED and thus, all the ordinances making those shadows were nailed to the cross and taken out of the way. And NOW, under the New Covenant you are FREE to pick up sticks on Saturday, Sunday, or any other day of the week. But under the OLD Covenant you would have been stoned to death, according to the LETTER of the Law of Moses.

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 13. Speak you (Or Moses, you speak) also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My sabbaths you shall keep: (You, the children of Israel shall keep MY REST unto me) for it is a SIGN between Me and you throughout your generations; THAT (Or SO THAT or in order THAT) you may KNOW that I am the LORD that does SANCTIFY you. (So then, the weekly Sabbath was given for a REASON! What is that reason? So THAT the children of Israel may KNOW that it is Yahweh who SANCTIFIES them. Now, we all know that the weekly Sabbath DAY does NOT sanctify anyone. The Apostle Paul clearly teaches us that no man is JUSTIFIED by the law and the fourth commandment is a Law of God. So then, HOW did Yahweh “eventually” SANCTIFY the children of Israel? Did not Jesus die on the cross for the sins of the children of Israel to sanctify them? YES! So then, the SHADOW of the weekly Sabbath DAY was given to the children of Israel to REST on the seventh DAY of every week throughout THEIR generations as a SIGN to TEACH them to LEARN to KNOW and understand that it is Yahweh who SANCTIFIES them through their FAITH in Yahweh’s Messiah Jesus when Jesus comes, both at the first AND the second comings of Jesus) 14. You shall keep the Sabbath THEREFORE; (Or for this very reason that I, Yahweh have given you MY REST as a SIGN for you to KNOW that I, Yahweh SANCTIFIES you is WHY you shall keep the Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus REST) for IT is holy unto you: (The LITERAL translation reads, “for HOLINESS he is to you”. And Jesus is the END of the law for righteousness or for HOLINESS) every one that defiles IT (The LITERAL translation reads, “Ones profaning of her” speaking of the body of Christ, the CHURCH and the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ), shall surely be put to death: (Now, the pronoun her can also be translated as the pronoun it or the pronoun he. So the translator could have made a small error here by using the pronoun her. But to me, the pronoun “her” makes more sense because the church teaches that Jesus is the Messiah and only BELIEVERS are in the body of Christ which is the church. And the church is referred to HER or SHE in the feminine gender. And thus, Judaizing Christians are PROFANING the CHURCH by their PERVERTED gospel) for whosoever does any work therein, (Or whosoever does any work in her, the CHURCH, or in the TRUE FAITH, again speaking of CERTAIN Christians in the body of Christ NOT resting in Messiah Jesus as their HOLINESS by doing the WORKS of the law contained in ordinances that Jesus nailed to the cross because they were ALL SHADOWS pointing to him as Yahweh’s Messiah) that SOUL shall be cut off from among his people. 15. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of REST, holy (Orm according to the literal translation, RESTING in Jesus as the END of the law for RIGHTEOUSNESS is the TRUE Sabbath REST for HOLINESS) to the LORD: whosoever does any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. (Now, if Christians do not truly understand that the weekly Sabbath day was given as a SIGN pointing to Jesus for us to REST in Jesus as our HOLINESS unto Yahweh then how can we ever BE Holy EVEN as Yahweh our Father in heaven is Holy? It would be impossible, but with God who MAKES us Holy in Jesus, the TRUE meaning of SIGN or the SHADOW of the Sabbath DAY, then nothing is impossible. I understand that SDA Christians and almost all other seventh DAY of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians CLAIM that they do not keep the weekly Sabbath DAY in order to be saved, in order to be righteous, or in order to be holy. But rather, all Sabbath-keeping Christians say things like, we only keep the weekly Sabbath day to be more PLEASING to God, or we only keep the weekly Sabbath day to PLEASE God and not to be saved. But in truth, if Jesus nailed the OBLIGATION to keep the weekly Sabbath DAY to the cross to take it out of the WAY, then the ones KEEPING the Sabbath DAY are actually DISPLEASING God by disobeying the commandments of Jesus under the New Covenant that Jesus taught to the Apostle Paul to teach to us. And thus, to me, the Christians who keep the weekly Sabbath DAY out of OBLIGATION lest they sin are actually showing God that they are not TRULY resting in His Messiah Jesus to be Holy even as Yahweh the Father is Holy. Jesus IS Yahweh’s REST that Yahweh provided for all who BELIEVE. Jesus IS the true meaning of WHY the Sabbath day was given in the first place. Also, please know and understand that the weekly Sabbath DAY is a SHADOW pointing to Yahweh's Sabbath which is the TRUE Seventh Day of the LORD's REST in the world to come. In other words, the seventh 1000 year long day of Yahweh's REST in the world to come is the SEVENTH day prophesied in Genesis 2:1-3. That is why Yahweh says MY Sabbath and the Sabbath UNTO Yahweh) 16. Wherefore. the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, (Or for this very reason the children of Israel shall keep MY REST, my Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus REST in the future as they keep the literal seventh day rest as a SIGN) to OBSERVE (Or to DISCERN and KNOW that) the (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) Sabbath throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL COVENANT. (Speaking of the New Covenant that will NOT vanish away like the Old Covenant. Please notice that it does NOT say that the Sabbath is a perpetual COMMANDMENT, but rather, it says for a perpetual COVENANT. And the only eternal COVENANT is the New Covenant that was established in the shed blood of Messiah Jesus. For you see, Almighty God Himself made the first covenant OLD and it completely vanish away in 70AD when the Jewish Temple was destroyed, according to Hebrews 8:13) 17. It is a SIGN between me and the children of Israel for ever: (Or for an AGE referring to the age of the church and not for all eternity) for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. (Now, in the LITERAL translation you can see the untranslated Aleph and Tav, the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Jesus said that he is the FIRST and the LAST and Jesus also said that the Scriptures testify of him. So to me, the hidden untranslated Aleph and Tav point or testify of Messiah Jesus. So let us read verses 16,17 again with the Aleph and Tav translated as Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus. I will also use the order of the wording in the literal translation. Exodus 31:16,17 literally reads, “Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus Sabbath, to OBSERVE or to DISCERN and make of the alpha Tav Messiah Jesus Sabbath or the REST in Jesus for Holiness Sabbath REST throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL COVENANT. 17. Between me and between the sons of Israel SIGN he for eon or SIGN he the Aleph and Tav, the FIRST and the LAST for an age of 6000 years that six days Yahweh he made Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus heaven and Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus earth and IN seventh he, speaking of Yahweh, rested and he is BEING refreshed” And beginning in Genesis, the beginning, God has hidden prophecies pointing to His Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus for us to OBSERVE, as in, to make of or to DISCERN what those hidden prophecies truly mean. Jesus was SLAIN before the foundation of the world. In other words, these hidden prophecies have been around for 6000 years for man to figure out what they mean. God kept His 7000 year plan of salvation a secret from His ENEMY Satan. Please read the study called J-1. Does God Have a 7000 Year PLAN of Salvation?) 18. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of TESTIMONY, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.” So then, the two tables of stone that God inscribed the TEN Commandments TESTIFY of Messiah Jesus by way of the Aleph Tav hidden prophecies and by the hidden SHADOWS. But WHICH of the TEN Commandments TESTIFY of Jesus as being the Messiah? Well, we know for sure that the FOURTH commandment was given to the children of Israel as a SIGN for a PERPETUAL COVENANT. But what about the THIRD commandment? Did not Jesus come in the NAME OF Yahweh? Remember the words, “blessed is he who comes in the NAME of the Lord”. There are many hidden clues or SHADOWS that the third commandment to not take the Lord’s NAME in VAIN or for no benefit is pointing to Jesus as being the NAME of the Lord. There is the hidden Aleph Tav prophecy in Deuteronomy 18:17,18 pointing to Jesus as the Prophet that God would raise up.

“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, (Prophetically speaking of Messiah Jesus being this Prophet) like unto you, (Moses) and (I, Yahweh) will put MY words in his mouth; (The mouth of Jesus) and he shall speak unto them ALL (The Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus words, teachings, instructions, and commandments) that I shall COMMAND him. 19. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will NOT hearken unto MY words which he shall speak in MY NAME, I will require it of him.”
The pronoun “him” refers to the disobedient children who do NOT hearken to the words of Jesus that Yahweh put in the mouth of Jesus to speak to them first before God turned to the Gentiles. In other words, Yahweh placed His words in the mouth of Jesus to give to us who BELIEVE the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ to OBEY only TWO commandments under the New Covenant written in the New Testament. And by our OBEYING those TWO commandments under the New Covenant written in the New Testament, then we ARE keeping ALL the Law of God that Yahweh REQUIRES of us to keep in order to receive eternal life in the world to come. So then, According to Acts 15:10, why TEMPT you God to command or to BIND upon Christians a commandment under the Old Covenant that is a SHADOW that Jesus FULFILLED and nailed to the cross? Is not a SIGN a SHADOW? Yes, a sign is a SHADOW pointing to Jesus. Was not the SIGN of Jonah pointing to Jesus? Was not the SIGN of Jonah a SHADOW picturing Jesus in the belly of the earth for three days and three nights like Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights? So then, a SIGN is indeed a SHADOW. And without knowing the teachings in the New Testament you would not know that the account of Jonah being in the belly of the big fish was a SHADOW pointing to Jesus. But after Jesus FULFILLED that SHADOW of Jonah being in the belly of the big fish for three days and three nights we can now see that it was a SIGN pointing to Jesus being in the belly of the earth for three days and three nights. We can see that after three days and three nights the big fish that is believed to be a whale, spewed Jonah out of its belly is a SHADOW pointing to the resurrection of Jesus. And after the resurrection of Jesus, he began PREACHING the TRUE gospel to his disciples by first expounding the MEANING of the SHADOWS in the Scriptures that TESTIFY of him. And Jesus said that Jonah is a SIGN, and thus, the account of Jonah was a SHADOW until it was revealed in the New Testament. And that means that the weekly Sabbath DAY being given as a SIGN for a PERPETUAL COVENANT is also a SHADOW until it was revealed to the Apostle Paul as a SIGN pointing to Jesus as our TRUE Sabbath REST for HOLINESS. Again, Almighty God Himself made the first covenant OLD, according to Hebrews 8:13. And Old Covenant completely vanished away in 70 AD when the Roman army destroyed the Jewish Temple. For you see, according to Malachi 3:1, Jesus is NOW the TEMPLE of Yahweh. And now, the New Covenant replaces the Old Covenant. Please know and understand that Moses threw down the FIRST two tablets of stone that were written by the finger of God and BROKE them because of the SIN of the children of Israel making a golden calf as their god to save them from dying in the wilderness. The THROWING down the first two tables of stone to BREAK them is a figure or an allegory of God making the FIRST covenant OLD so that He could give His New and BETTER covenant to the children of Israel that would be Yahweh’s PERPETUAL COVENANT. You see, the New Covenant was only preached to the Jews FIRST, and then, after Israel as a nation rejected Jesus as their Messiah, God turned the preaching of the Gospel of salvation to the Gentiles. This is what the Bible itself teaches us. Let us continue to observe or to discern even more SHADOWS connected with the FOURTH commandment, the weekly Sabbath DAY. You can read the broader CONTEXT of Exodus chapter 31 in Exodus 32:1-35 for yourself, I will only quote verses 15 through 19 and verses 30 through 35.
Exodus 32:15-19, 30-35.
“And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the TESTIMONY were in his hand: (The contracted Hebrew word of “eduth” translated as testimony is the Hebrew word “ed” which mean PRINCE as one of its meanings and both words mean witness and testimony. So the Hebrew word “eduth” that is translated as testimony means the WITNESS of the Prince Jesus) the tables were written on BOTH THEIR sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. (In other words, there were two separate tablets of stone that God Himself inscribed with His finger on BOTH sides of EACH tablet. And no one alive today has actually seen those first two tablets that Moses threw down and BROKE. And to my knowledge, no one alive today has ever seen the second set of the two stone tablets that were placed INSIDE of the Ark of the Covenant. So no one can argue that ONLY the TEN Commandments were written on the two stone tablets. For you see, the Hebrew word that is translated as the Ten COMMANDMENTS also means ten WORDS. And that Hebrew word translated as commandments in Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13, and Deuteronomy 10:4 is NOT the usual Hebrew word for commandments. Now, to me, this is a CLUE pointing to ten HIDDEN words somewhere in the TEN Commandments that TESTIFY of Jesus and not that ALL Ten Commandments point to Jesus or testify of Jesus. None of the SIX MORAL commandments are shadows that point to Jesus. You will see what I mean by this as you continue to read this study in God's word) 16. And the tables were the work of God, (Or God Himself hewed out the first two tablets with His own hands) AND the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. 17. And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. 18. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. 19. And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and BROKE them beneath the mount... ...30. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, You have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. (Here we see that Moses is a type or figure of Jesus making ATONEMENT for the sin of the children of Israel. These things were done and written for SHADOWS pointing to Jesus as making atonement for the sins of the world and the throwing down of the FIRST covenant by establishing the New PERPETUAL Covenant in his shed blood. Again, the new PERPETUAL COVENANT was preached only to the Jews first and then God turned the preaching of ETERNAL LIFE in Jesus to the Gentiles to provoke the children of Israel to jealousy for rejecting their Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus at his first coming. But God promised to turn again a SECOND time to deliver the REMNANT of Israel) 31. And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. 32. Yet now, if You will forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray You, out of Your book which You have written. (Do you see the parallel between Moses and Jesus where Moses is a picture of Jesus being WILLING to lay down his life of his own free will for the sins of the people? Jesus said the Scripture testify or speak of him) 33. And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. 34. Therefore, now go, lead the people unto the (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) place of which I have spoken unto you: (In hidden words of prophecy written in the TEN Commandments) behold, mine Angel (A figure of Jesus being a messenger of God in the future who would be given eternal life before Moses. Jesus is the FIRST born of every creature, the firstborn from the dead, the firstborn among many brethren who) shall go before you: nevertheless, (Or moreover) in the day when I visit, I will visit their sin upon them. (Speaking about the wrath of God that Jesus will execute at his return. The unsaved Jews will see the SAVED being caught up into the air to safety BEFORE them and that will provoke the REMNANT of Jews to call upon the NAME of the Lord to be saved alive in their mortal bodies to go into the 1000 year reign of Jesus, the Seventh day of Yahweh's REST) 35. And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, (Or prophetically, because they made the calf their Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) which Aaron made.”
Now, I hate to say this but it needs to be said, Aaron is a FIGURE of the CHURCH, the brethren of Jesus. For you see, Aaron is the brother of Moses who is a figure of Jesus. God used Moses to lead the children out of bondage in the land of Egypt and God is still using Jesus through the church to lead people out of the bondage of SIN in the world. Egypt is a figure of the world that is deceived by the rebel god of this present world. So my point is that since it was Aaron who hearkened to the cries of the people to make a god for them which they learned in Egypt, the church needs to take heed not to make things esteemed ABOVE Jesus. So again, my point right now is that Moses BROKE the FIRST two tablets of stone that were engraved by the finger of God. In other words, both the tablets themselves that were made by God and the writing on the tablets were the work of God on the FIRST two tablets of stone were THROWN down and broken. Again, this is a FIGURE of the FIRST covenant being broken by the hand of Moses foreshadowing the HAND of Jesus THROWING DOWN the FIRST covenant by establishing the New PERPETUAL Covenant. The natural always comes before the spiritual. To say this another way, the natural is a SHADOW pointing to the TRUE spiritual meaning of what happened in the natural that was done during the Old Testament times. Now let us read what happens next after Moses, the FIGURE of Jesus, went back up Mount Sinai to make ATONEMENT for the sins of the people making a golden calf. Moses mediating the sins of Israel is a figure of Jesus making ATONEMENT for the sins of the world. You see, God said to Moses, let me alone so I can wipe them all out and make a greater people from you, Moses. And that is yet another figure of God's new creatures created by God in Jesus Christ. Please read Exodus 34:1-5, verse 10,11, verses 17,18, and verses 21-35. Again, you can read the whole chapter for yourself. I am only trying to make this study shorter by not quoting the whole chapter.

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew you two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which you BROKE. (So this time, instead of God making the two tablets, Yahweh had His servant Moses hew the two tablets with his own hands. But God still wrote the WORDS on the two tablets that the hands of Moses made. To me, this is a shadow pointing to Jesus as the one who ESTABLISHED the New PERPETUAL COVENANT in his OWN blood but it was his God and Father who put the WORDS in his mouth to speak to the people under the New Covenant that are written in the New Testament) 2. And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me in the top of the mount. (And it was the MORNING of the first day that Jesus ascended up to present himself to the Father as the blood he shed unto God for the sacrifice for the sins of the world. Some Christians are not aware that Jesus ascended to his Father right after talking to Mary Magdalene and then Jesus descended back down to the earth that very same day in the evening to show himself alive for forty days) 3. And no man shall come up with you, (And no man has ascended to heaven at any time except for the Son of Man who is now seated at the right hand of the Father) neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks, nor herds feed before that mount. 4. And he (Speaking of Moses who obeyed God, and Moses) hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; (So two sets of the two stone tablets are figures of TWO covenants where the FIRST covenant was thrown down and broken and then a NEW Covenant was hewed by the hand of Moses as a figure of Jesus establishing the New Covenant. God needed a MAN to die on the cross) and Moses rose up EARLY in the morning, (Another shadow pointing to Jesus being raised from the dead EARLY in the morning on the first day) and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. (Signifying a BLANK covenant for Yahweh to write His words upon like he did in the first covenant that was thrown down and broken by the hand of Moses. Again, the hand of Moses is a figure of the hands of Jesus throwing down the FIRST covenant to establish the new PERPETUAL COVENANT in his shed blood on the cross) 5. And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the NAME of the LORD… ...10. And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which you are shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with you. 11. OBSERVE you (Or DISCERN you Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) that which I command you (Or that I instruct to you in the hidden prophecies in my commandments that I give you) this day: (In other words, the SAME day that God gave the TEN Commandments God ALSO PROPHETICALLY gave the children of Israel ALL Hidden Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus commandments as a SCHOOLMASTER that the children of Israel are to OBSERVE or to DISCERN as the TRUE meaning why WHY God ADDED the law of Moses, which includes the TEN Commandments UNTIL Christ came)... ...17. You shall make you no molten gods. (Or no gods before me that YOU MAKE) 18. The feast of unleavened bread shall you keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, (So OBSERVE or DISCERN why I gave you the feast of unleavened bread in the first place. Understand WHY I gave you all my commandments, especially the commandments I gave you) in the time of the month Abib: FOR (Or BECAUSE) in the month Abib you came out from Egypt… ...21. Six days you shall work, (This is the weekly Sabbath commandment that is being MIXED with the feast of unleavened bread which has the feast of Passover at the end of the feast of unleavened bread. The SIX days of work symbolizes God telling Adam or MAN that he would work by the sweat of his brow for six days. In other words, the six days of creation symbolize the SIX 1000 year long days of WORK of MAN during this present world from Adam to the Seventh 1000 year long Day of the LORD. And during the TRUE SEVENTH DAY of Yahweh is when Jesus will rule as the Lord OF the Sabbath FOR Yahweh while Yahweh RESTS in or during the Seventh day as PROPHESIED in Genesis 2:1-3. For you see, this present world will be the end of the sixth 1000 year long day. And when this PRESENT world ends at the coming of Jesus, then the governments of the world will be placed on the shoulders of Jesus who will rule as God FOR Yahweh in Yahweh’s NAME as the Lord of the Sabbath. That is why Jesus said in Mark 2:26,27 that man was not made for the Sabbath, but that the Sabbath was made for man. THEREFORE, the Son of MAN is Lord of the Sabbath, the 1000 year long Sabbath and NOT the Lord of the weekly Sabbath DAY. But rather, the true sound Biblical intended meaning of Mark 2:26,27 is that Jesus is the Lord OF the Seventh 1000 year long day of the Sabbath of Yahweh’s rest in the world to come) but on the seventh day you shall rest: in earing time (Or in the plowing time) AND in harvest you shall rest. (Keep in mind that God is speaking to the children of Israel who will NOT have eternal life during the seventh 1000 year long day but they will still have REST in Jesus during that “plowing season” of 1000 years. And in the HARVEST, speaking of the THIRD harvest of the first fruits unto God they will have REST in their receiving eternal life at the END of the seventh 1000 year long day. For you see, only those who REST in Jesus during this present world will receive eternal life at the beginning to the seventh 1000 year long day of Yahweh’s Sabbath. And thus, we as faithful Christians which includes the Jewish Christians will not be doing any “plowing” during the 1000 year reign of Jesus because we will already have been given eternal life and the second death will have no more power over us. The plowing of the ground is spiritually referring to a person breaking up their hardened heart to receive that planting of the seed of God’s word in them. And that is what the REMNANT of Israel will be doing during the Seventh day generation after generation. And they will also literally be plowing the ground to grow their own food during the seventh day. They will be rebuilding the cities laid waste in the battle of Armageddon. They will REST from the works of the law to LEARN about their REST in Jesus for HOLINESS. And those who learn this TRUTH during the seventh 1000 year long day will rest in the HARVEST by their receiving eternal life at the END of the LORD’S Sabbath. And, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, Jesus is the first of the first fruits unto God, then we who are in Jesus at his coming will be the second harvest of first fruits, then the WRATH of God, then the seventh 1000 year long day of the world to come will begin. And then, the third and final harvest of first fruits will be at the END of the Seventh 1000 year long day of Yahweh’s REST. So again, if you are NOT RESTING in Jesus for Holiness in this present world then you will NOT enter into the Millennial reign of Jesus to REST from all your works during the seventh 1000 year long day of Yahweh’s REST. The disobedient children who do not repent of their disobedience will be resurrected at the END of the 1000 year reign of Jesus and be judged by their WORKS. And to me, if they were unworthy to not be resurrected at the FIRST resurrection then chances are they will be found unworthy to receive eternal life in the final resurrection and they will be cast in the lake of fire to be destroyed) 22. And you shall OBSERVE (Or prophetically speaking the children of Israel shall DISCERN to DO the TRUE meaning of) the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end. (When the Messiah comes. Keep in mind that God prophesied TWO comings of Jesus) 23. Three times in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel. (Again, these are NOT part of the TEN Commandments but as you can clearly see they are MIXED WITH the Law of God that God commanded Moses to give to the children of Israel at the SAME time Moses gave them the TEN Commandments. The SDA Church argues that the TEN Commandments are completely SEPARATE from the Law of Moses and they must not be MIXED together as being the Law of God. If one argues that the TEN Commandments were not inscribed by God on this SECOND set of two stone tablets hewed by the hand of Moses then the TEN Commandments were not put inside of the Ark of the covenant because the FIRST set of two tables of stone was thrown down and BROKEN. For you see, that FIRST set of two stone tablets written by the FINGER of God no longer exists. They were destroyed. And thus, the first set of stone tablets was a figure of the first covenant being made OLD and vanishing away when Yahweh raised up His Messiah from among the people to establish the NEW PERPETUAL Covenant in the shed blood of His Son Jesus) 24. For I will cast out the nations before you, and enlarge your borders: neither shall any man desire your land, when you shall go up to appear before the LORD your God three times in the year. (This verse is a prophecy of the world to come. Let us read verse 23 again in the LITERAL translation so you can see the hidden prophecy of Jesus ruling as God in Yahweh’s NAME as the God of Israel. Exodus 34:23 “Three times in the year shall all your men children appear before the (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) Lord GOD, (Or you Lord having been given Yahweh’s NAME after the cross. The word Lord is “adone” and refers to people as a lord. And the Hebrew word translated as GOD is the Hebrew word for Almighty God's NAME, Yahweh. Jesus was GIVEN the name Yahweh after the cross to be MADE Lord by God so that or in order that every knee will bow at the NAME and every tongue confess that Jesus is “Lord” TO the glory OF Almighty God the Father, according to Philippians 2:8-11. In other words, during the world to come Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh in Yahweh’s NAME as) the God of Israel.” 25. You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the Passover be left unto the morning. (Remember that the MORNING after the feast of Passover symbolizes the EIGHTH day or the first day of a new beginning that is symbolically pointing to the new heaven and the new earth at the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus. And this also signifies the end to the 1000 year reign of Jesus and the end of people being saved. For you see, after the final judgment no more people will be saved. Satan and the fallen angels will be judged by Jesus and the saints being FAITHFUL WITNESSES and all the wicked not found written in the book of LIFE will be cast into the lake of fire to be destroyed and turned to ashes never to rise again) 26. The first of the first fruits of your land you shall bring unto the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk. 27. And the LORD said unto Moses, Write you these words: for after the tenor of these words (Or the speaking of these words out of my mouth) I have made a covenant with you and with Israel. 28. And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. (To me, this verse seems to be saying that Moses wrote the words of the covenant, the TEN Commandments upon the stone tablets, speaking of the second set of the two stone tablets. TEN Commandments are now TWO commandments under the New Covenant written in the New Testament. Please read Matthew 22:37-40 “Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38. This is the first and great commandment. 39. And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40. On these TWO COMMANDMENTS hang ALL the law and the prophets. (And if you truly love Yahweh our heavenly Father then you will love his Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior to obey his TWO COMMANDMENTS which are NOT grievous, according to Jesus whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light or easy to bear, according to 1 John 5:3. But the Old Covenant was a YOKE of BONDAGE that the children of Israel were NOT ABLE to BEAR, according to Acts 15:10. So how can anyone teach with HONESTLY that Christians must keep BOTH covenants when Almighty God Himself made the first covenant OLD and caused it to completely vanish away in 70AD, according to Hebrew 8:13?) 29. And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of TESTIMONY in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. 30. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him. (Please notice that the face of Moses did NOT shine after he came down from the mount the first time with the two tablets that he threw down and BROKE. To me, this speaks of Jesus during the days of his flesh keeping the Old Covenant to be the spotless Lamb. Then after God raised Jesus from the dead, the Apostles of Jesus saw his GLORY as the only begotten Son of God. And at that time the New Covenant was established. And at the coming of Jesus we will be glorified with the glory of Jesus to join our brother Jesus as joint heirs of the world to come to rule and reign with Jesus for 1000 years. And at that time Jesus will no longer be the ONLY begotten Son of God for God will have begotten many more eternal sons and eternal daughters. Jesus is the FIRST born of MANY brethren. Also, when Jesus returns from heaven every eye shall see his GLORY coming in clouds of glory) 31. And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: (Symbolically speaking of the REMNANT of Israel returning to Yahweh by accepting Jesus as their Messiah at his coming again) and Moses (A figure of Jesus) talked with them. 32. And afterward ALL the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment ALL that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai. (Notice that Moses gave ALL that Yahweh spoke unto him and not that Moses gave them just the TEN Commandments. Also, notice that it says Mount Sinai and NOT Mount Horeb like the first set of two stone tablets. And remember that both sets of the two stone tablets were written on both sides of each of the two tablets. So to me, there was MORE written on the two tablets than JUST the TEN Commandments. That is only my own opinion based on the use of a different Hebrew word translated as the word “commandment” that is NOT the usual Hebrew word for commandments. I believe that is a clue to look for hidden prophecies in the CEREMONIAL commandments. And the FOURTH commandment is a ceremonial commandment UNTO Yahweh, according to Exodus 16:25,26. The second set of actual stone tablets are nowhere to be found as yet, but the BOOK of the Law of God was preserved in the handwriting of Moses, which was placed in the side of the ark) 33. And till Moses was done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.”
The word “Horeb” means desolate. It comes from the Hebrew word that means to destroy, kill, decay, make waste and the SLAY. To me this is another shadow pointing to Jesus who was SLAIN on the cross to establish the New PERPETUAL COVENANT that made waste to the covenant on mount Horeb. The word “Sinai” means bush, thorn, or an enmity. Jesus SLAYED the ENMITY even the law of commandments contained in ordinances at the cross, according to Ephesians 2:15. Also, a crown of thorns was placed upon his head mocking him as a king. Little did they know that the Son of MAN would be CROWNED with glory after the cross to be made both Lord and Messiah, according to Acts 2:36.. Here is a short article from another website that draws a comparison of the burning bush which may have been a burning THORN bush representing the flaming sword guarding the ENTRANCE to the garden of Eden.
Mount Sinai (sinai - see Exodus 19:20) is the mountain that Israel met with God upon leaving Egypt. The Hebrew word Sinai (Strong's #5514) means "thorn". This word comes from the parent root SN (sin-nun), also meaning thorn. Another word derived from this parent root is seneh (#5572) meaning "thorn bush". The bush that Moses saw burning in Exodus 3:2 is a seneh. It was not just a burning bush, but a burning thorn bush. Mount Sinai is also called Mount Horeb (hhorev - see Exodus 3:1). The Hebrew word hhorev (#2722) comes from the root hharav (#2717) meaning "to lay waste", "be dried up" as well as "to fight". By definition the words sinai and hhorev are synonymous as a dry wasteland is often filled with thorn bushes. But there is also an interesting connection between the Garden of Eden and Mount Sinai. When Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, God placed a "flaming sword" at its entrance. The Hebrew word for "sword" is hherev (#2719). Hherev (sword/sharp) comes from the same root, hharav (fight/make waste), as the word hhorev (wasteland) which is also called Sinai (thorn/sharp). The burning thorn bush of Exodus is a picture of the flaming sword of Genesis. Is it possible that the burning bush and the flaming sword are one and the same thing? Was Mount Sinai the entrance into the Garden of Eden?
Well, we certainly know that Jesus is the DOOR to eternal life in PARADISE and that the Garden of Eden means “PARADISE”. Please see the study called G-21. WHAT AND WHERE IS PARADISE? Let us continue reading right on into the next chapter which is still the CONTEXT of Moses coming down from Mount Sinai. I will quote verses 1-5 and then skip down to verse 30 and quote Exodus 35:30-35. Again, you can read the whole chapter if you like. Pay close attention to the SHADOWS, FIGURES, and the hidden untranslated Aleph Tav prophecies pointing to Jesus.
Exodus 35:1-5,30-35.
“And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD has commanded, that you (The children of Israel) should do them. 2. Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you (The children of Israel) an holy day, a Sabbath of REST TO the LORD: whosoever does work therein shall be put to death. (The weekly Sabbath DAY is a ceremonial service or rest TO Yahweh and NOT a MORAL law toward our fellow man. The weekly Sabbath DAY is a ceremonial service TO God just like all the other ceremonial commandments of the feast DAYS that were nailed to the cross. The weekly Sabbath was given as a SIGN. But yet, the SDA Church and all other seventh DAY of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians CLAIM that the SABBATHS that Jesus nailed to the cross are not the weekly Sabbath days. But rather, they CLAIM that Paul is talking about the feast day Sabbaths. So why would Paul list the SAME Sabbath days TWICE if so be that Paul INTENDED His words to mean that the Sabbaths refer ONLY to the feast days? That makes no sense whatsoever! Is not the fourth commandment a commandment to keep the Sabbath DAYS? YES! The word SABBATHS is plural in Colossians 2:14-17. Now, to me, if Paul intended his words to mean that ONLY the feast day Sabbaths were nailed to the cross then Paul would have listed only THREE things that were nailed to the cross as opposed to listing FOUR DIFFERENT things that were nailed to the cross. In other words, Paul would have said, let no man, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day SABBATH, or of the new moon. Colossians 2:17 teaches us that all FOUR things that Paul listed in verse 16 are a shadow of things to come, but the body casting the shadow is Christ. But that is NOT what the Apostle Paul wrote. Please read Colossians 2:16,17 to see what Paul actually said, “16. Let no man, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, OR of the Sabbath days:” [The Apostle Paul listed FOUR things and NOT three things. So then, one has to FORCE the meaning that Paul did not mean the weekly Sabbath days] Col 2:17. Which are a SHADOW of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” Is not a SIGN a SHADOW, a FIGURE, and a prophecy pointing to Jesus who established the New PERPETUAL COVENANT in his shed blood? YES! And was not the weekly Sabbath DAY given as a SIGN for a PERPETUAL COVENANT? YES! So then, the weekly Sabbath days are a SHADOW pointing to Jesus that Jesus FULFILLED and BLOTTED out the handwriting of ORDINANCES contained in those ceremonial commandments, THEREFORE, do not ALLOW any man to JUDGE you for NOT keeping the weekly Sabbath DAYS which Jesus NAILED to the cross) 3. You shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the Sabbath day, (This is just one of the ORDINANCES of the weekly Sabbath DAY. Remember that the law of commandments contained in ORDINANCES were abolished at the cross according to Ephesians 2:15 and Colossians 2:14-17. In other words, ALL the Law of God in every commandment that CONTAINED ordinances was abolished and nailed to the cross, and the weekly Sabbath day commandment has ORDINANCES contained in the FOURTH commandment) 4. And Moses spoke unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying, 5. Take you from among you an offering unto the LORD: (Was not Jesus raised up from AMONG the children of Israel to be their Savior”. YES!) whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring IT, an (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus sacrifice for) offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, (In a house there are vessels of gold and silver that become pure in the fire but the vessels of wood and stubble will burn) and brass,... ...30. And Moses said unto the children of ISRAEL, (The NAME Israel is one of the many names that prophetically speak of Jesus. The name Israel means he shall rule AS God and, according to Acts 2:36, Jesus was MADE Lord by his God and Father to rule for 1000 years in the world to come AS the God of the whole earth. Yahweh promised to give PEOPLE to Jesus, according to the prophecy in Isaiah 43:4) See, (Open your eyes, look, consider, DISCERN, perceive) the LORD has called (Israel, your Messiah) by NAME Bezaleel (Meaning SHADOW of God. To me, this whole passage of Scripture is a big SHADOW pointing to Jesus being MADE Lord and God after the cross to rule for 1000 years in the world to come) the son of Uri, (Meaning fiery. It comes from another Hebrew word meaning flame or LIGHT from the EAST. Jesus will come as a FLAMING FIRE out of the east to execute the wrath of God) the son of Hur, (There are three Hebrew words spelled the same and they mean white linen and bore the crevice of the serpent, the prison cell, a hole. When I read this I immediately thought of Jesus clothed in white linen which means RIGHTEOUSNESS binding that old serpent called the devil and Satan and casting Satan in the bottomless pit, a prison cell) of the tribe of Judah; (And we all know that Jesus is not only from among the children of Israel, but he is specifically from the tribe of Judah) 31. And He (Yahweh) has filled him (The one prophesied to come in this passage of Scripture being the SHADOW of God which points to Jesus. For we know it is Jesus who was filled) with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; 32. And to devise curious works, (Or to find out or learn of his God and Father's plan of salvation) to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, (Again, symbolically speaking of the vessels of gold and silver in the church, the house or the temple of God) 33. And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work. (Jesus was a carpenter which in those days were also stonemasons who cut stones to set them. Symbolically, this speaks of Jesus building his church with the Holy Spirit of Yahweh doing the work of creating those who believe to be a new creation of new creatures created in HOLINESS to Yahweh in Jesus) 34. And He (Yahweh) has put in his heart that he may teach, (And according to the prophecy in Isaiah 50:4, Yahweh gave Jesus the tongue of the learned. Yahweh visited Jesus morning by morning opening his ear to understand the Scripture spoke of him. And by age 12 the Scribes marveled at how much of the Scriptures that the boy Jesus knew at such a young age not having a teacher of the law to teach him) BOTH he, AND Aholiab, (The name Aholiab means TENT of his father. Are we not the TEMPLE of the Father of Jesus? YES! So both Jesus and his body, the church) the son of Ahisamach, (The name Ahisamach means BROTHER of support. Are we not the BRETHREN of Jesus who have been commissioned to take up where Jesus left off and preach his gospel of TRUTH? YES!) of the tribe of Dan. (The name Dan means JUDGE. Will we not JUDGE the angels with Jesus? YES! Can you not see all these SHADOWS pointing to Jesus and the church who have the words of eternal life to those who OBEY the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ?) 35. THEM (Speaking of Jesus and his BRETHREN, the CHURCH) has He (Yahweh) filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.”
I am not sure what all manner of work points to other than whatever we do we are to do it heartily unto the Lord. I believe that God gives each of us different talents and skills. So whatever talent God has given you, I encourage you to use it to God’s glory. Again, can you not see all of the symbolism, figures, types or SHADOWS hidden in the word of Almighty God? So why then do some of you who are seventh DAY of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians not yet see that the weekly Sabbath DAY was given ONLY to the children of Israel for THEM to keep throughout THEIR generation as a SIGN for a PERPETUAL COVENANT? And thus, the RESTING on the WEEKLY Sabbath DAY is a SHADOW pointing to the TRUE REST in Jesus for Holiness to Yahweh. And once we BELIEVE in our heart that Jesus is the atonement for our sins, then we ARE KEEPING the TRUE meaning of WHY the weekly Sabbath DAY was given in the first place. We ARE keeping the SPIRIT of the law WITHOUT keeping the LETTER of the law. Therefore, to us who know the TRUTH that no day of the week, month, or year is BINDING to be kept by Christians under the New Covenant written in the New Testament having only TWO commandments of Jesus. And Jesus said, “if you love me you will keep MY commandments.” Jesus did NOT say if you love me you will keep the Law of Moses. And neither did Jesus say if you love me you will keep the TEN Commandments. According to Matthew 19:16-19, Jesus only listed the SIX MORAL commandments in the TEN commandments as being required to receive eternal life in the world to come. For you see, by FAITH in Jesus we ARE KEEPING the other four commandments. And by walking in LOVE we keep the other six commandments. So then,, in TRUTH, the word Sabbath means REST. So we ARE keeping the fourth commandment by our FAITH in Jesus as our REST for Holiness unto Yahweh. You cannot PLEASE God any more than RESTING in Jesus for your RIGHTEOUSNESS. And to ME, if a Christian keeps what Jesus has NAILED to the cross then that would be DISPLEASING to God rather than being PLEASING to God. Work out your OWN salvation with fear and trembling. For ME, Jesus IS my TRUE Sabbath REST.
